Serve With Understanding

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Tuesday January 16th, 2024.

Topic : Serve With Understanding.

Memory Verse: Philippians 1:8. Only God knows how much I dearly love you with the tender affection of Jesus, the Anointed One.

Bible Reading : Philippians 1:9-11 TPT. Key Verse: v11.

I continue to pray for your love to grow and increase beyond measure, bringing you into the rich revelation of spiritual insight in all things. This will enable you to choose the most excellent way of all—becoming pure and without offense until the unveiling of Christ. And you will be filled completely with the fruits of righteousness that are found in Jesus, the Anointed One—bringing great praise and glory to God!

Apostle Paul who is a key factor in the new testament was writing to encourage Philippian believers. He founded the Philippian church during his second missionary journey. These believers stood solidly with him, even in the time of persecution, travails and imprisonment. He saw them display Jesus love to him and was in prayers for them to continue in the direction of Christian life that pleased the Lord. We want to see some vital ingredients in the prayers of the Apostle and in the lives of these believers that will be very useful and helpful to us. “I thank my God for you every time I think of you; and every time I pray for you all, I pray with joy because of the way in which you have helped me in the work of the gospel from the very first day until now. And so I am sure that God, who began this good work in you, will carry it on until it is finished on the Day of Christ Jesus.” Philippians 1:3-6 GNB.

One of the qualities that warmed the the Philippian believers into the heart of Paul was that they showed him love and formed a formidable partnership with him in the ministry. Through their giving, Apostle Paul couldn’t suffer lack, and the work committed into his care by the master didn’t suffer because of lack of support. “It’s no wonder I pray with such confidence, since you have a permanent place in my heart! You have remained partners with me in the wonderful grace of God even though I’m here in chains for standing up for the truth of the gospel. Only God knows how much I dearly love you with the tender affection of Jesus, the Anointed One.” Philippians 1:7-8.

The Philippian believers were not ignorant of what the Lord expected of them, rather they were full of revelational insight into their calling and how to fulfil it. Because they knew what to do by revelation and could see/hear beyond the ordinary, they didn’t need anyone to push them before they could do the right thing. Many believers today are failing in their duties because they think they are helping someone else including leaders placed over them when they do the right thing, because they lack revelation and insight in their involvement with God. As a young believer, the Spirit one morning gave me time that I must be in Church every Sunday though I was still going through foundational class and came from a distant place to Church. From that day, I saw being in church before that very early hour as an appointment with God that must be kept. I did everything I could to make sure i get to church before the tick of that given time. There was no reason for me not to beat that time, not to talk of being absent from service. Every service was seen as an appointment with the master kept, which always added value me.

Prayer :Thank you Father God because of your love for me. Today I ask for revelational insight in my service to you. Help me to always know the thing to do as to please you in any given situation and to always do thein Jesus wonderful name….. Amen 🙏🏿.

The Beauty Of Fellowship

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Monday January 15th, 2024.

Topic: The Beauty Of Fellowship

Memory Verse: 1 Corinthians 1:9. God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.

Bible Reading : 1 Corinthians 1:5-8. Key Verse: v5.

That in every thing ye are enriched by him, in all utterance, and in all knowledge; Even as the testimony of Christ was confirmed in you: So that ye come behind in no gift; waiting for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall also confirm you unto the end, that ye may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Our calling as believers is very a important one that need to be understood by ourselves, who ere the carriers for us to maximise our effectiveness in christ. Understanding helps us to have right approach in whatever we do in this life. We therefore need to go for knowledge of God and his plan and purpose for which he called us in the first place, so that we can be fruitful in his hands. The more knowledge we have in any field of endeavour including faith, the more valuable or productive we become.by Knowing the right things we should do in our walk with God st any given situation, helps us to serve him better and to be impactful in our world. Right application of what we know will always make us wise in every activities of life.

In everything we do, we have to stay connected to him always through a life of fellowship. Man was created to depend on God for many reasons through a lifestyle of fellowship first with him and secondly with our fellow brethren. Our fellowship with our maker keeps us in constant flow of spiritual and other resources that is needed for a healthy, stable and balanced Christian life. When we fellowship with the brethren, we are built up and strengthened by droplets of glory that enters us in his presence for continuous transformation till we become just like him. I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” Romans 12:1-2.

Through the channels of fellowship, the Spirit of God is able to uphold as well as lead us in the right paths as our decisions honour him. Not only that, we experience his faithfulness through his interventions that is fresh every morning because of his abundant love and mercies towards us as his children. “If there be therefore any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any bowels and mercies, Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind. Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.” Philippians 2:1-3.

Prayer :Thank you Father God for caring so much about me. From today, help me to cultivate a life of constant fellowship with you and my fellow brethren, by your Spirit at work in me, so that I can bear much fruits in you in Jesus precious name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Divine Strength

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Sunday January 14th, 2024.

Topic: Divine Strength.

Memory Verse:Psalms 18:29. For by thee I have run through a troop; and by my God have I leaped over a wall.

Bible Psalms 18:30-34. Key Verse: v34.

As for God, his way is perfect: the word of the LORD is tried: he is a buckler to all those that trust in him. For who is God save the LORD? or who is a rock save our God? It is God that girdeth me with strength, and maketh my way perfect. He maketh my feet like hinds’ feet, and setteth me upon my high places. He teacheth my hands to war, so that a bow of steel is broken by mine arms.

King David the psalmist knew what divine strength can do in the life of a man. His life took a new turn from the day grace located him right in his father’s house. God had sent Samuel the man of God to the house of Jesse to anoint one of his sons king over Israel, after he rejected Saul from continuing as king over his people. When Samuel arrived the house of Jesse, everyone who looked qualified that Jesse brought on was turned down by the Spirit of God at work in Samuel, even to the surprise of the prophet himself. “And Samuel said unto Jesse, Are here all thy children? And he said, There remaineth yet the youngest, and, behold, he keepeth the sheep. And Samuel said unto Jesse, Send and fetch him: for we will not sit down till he come hither. And he sent, and brought him in. Now he was ruddy, and withal of a beautiful countenance, and goodly to look to. And the LORD said, Arise, anoint him: for this is he. Then Samuel took the horn of oil, and anointed him in the midst of his brethren: and the Spirit of the LORD came upon David from that day forward. So Samuel rose up, and went to Ramah.” 1 Samuel 16:11-13.

From the day the oil of God came upon David the shepherd boy, he became another man because he received divine strength (capacity) the moment the Spirit of God came upon his life. This became a turnaround encounter in his life. When he returned to the place of his assignment as shepherd boy, he began to terrorise the strong forces in the wilderness. That was how he began to slay the lion and the bear with his bare hands. “And David said unto Saul, Thy servant kept his father’s sheep, and there came a lion, and a bear, and took a lamb out of the flock: And I went out after him, and smote him, and delivered it out of his mouth: and when he arose against me, I caught him by his beard, and smote him, and slew him. Thy servant slew both the lion and the bear: and this uncircumcised Philistine shall be as one of them, seeing he hath defied the armies of the living God.”
1 Samuel 17:34-36.

This year, you need empowerment from God to have a different kind of result in everything you do. You need the Spirit of God to guide you in everything you do. He will make available to you divine wisdom that will make difficult things easy. As an extraordinary strategist, he will arm you with divine strategies that will give you uncommon results, circumstances notwithstanding. If you can pay attention to the Holy Spirit and learn to depend on him when you face difficult situations, you will see yourself leaping over walls or every obstacles the enemy will place on your way from now onwards. He will make divine speed available to you that will cause you to overtake men who used to be ahead of you. By his strength and power, you will see yourself overcome every oppositions of enemy forces, no matter how formidable they may appear.

Prayer :Thank you Father God because power belongs to you and you alone. Let your Spirit rest upon me from today. Arm me with divine strength in everything and every situation. From now onwards by your Spirit, grant me results that will cause men to honour you in Jesus wonderful name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Chosen To Be A Blessing

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Saturday January 13th, 2024.

Topic : Chosen To Be A Blessing.

Memory Verse:John 15:13. Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

Bible Reading :John 15:14-16. Key Verse: v16.

Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you. Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.

Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.

The grace of God that brings salvation appeared unto us because God in his benevolence chose us to represent him here on earth. As his people, we are to continue as to finish every good works Jesus Christ our saviour began here on earth when he walked on the surface of this earth as a man. His primary assignment on earth was to save men (as many as will believe in him). He was moved to come and die for us out of love. Because he loved us, he couldn’t watch us languish in our sins and become permanently enslaved by sin and the powers of the kingdom of darkness. He submitted himself to die for us to live, willingly. “I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine. As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep. “Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again. No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father.” John 10:14-15,17-18.

Our relationship with Jesus is multidimensional in nature. As servants, we receive instructions from him to carry out daily (live in his will). It doesn’t stop there because Christ does not just relate with us as ordinary servants, but friends and fellow heirs. As friends he is able to bring us into his depth and secrets by his Spirit. Now, we are able to walk alongside each other (with him) daily. He shows interest and gets involved in all that concerns us, giving us helping hand here and there to make sure that we succeed in our endeavours. As joint heirs, he brings us into his eternal inheritance with the father. We are able to partake his divine nature as fellow sons in the house. “According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.” 2 Peter 1:3-4.

All these rights and privileges are extended to us so that we can be fruitful in him. Not only that, God desires that the fruits we bear in him stands the test of time. This means that we are designed to live our lives to impart as well as impact everyone around us positively. This fruitfulness must touch every aspect of your life and entire being. This includes your spiritual life, your social, career or business life, your martial life, etc. At this point, you must understand that your fruitfulness is by covenant and therefore not negotiable, as long as you walk in obedience. “And he will love thee, and bless thee, and multiply thee: he will also bless the fruit of thy womb, and the fruit of thy land, thy corn, and thy wine, and thine oil, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep, in the land which he sware unto thy fathers to give thee. Thou shalt be blessed above all people: there shall not be male or female barren among you, or among your cattle.” Deuteronomy 7:13-14.

Prayer : Thank you Father God for choosing me, even from my mother’s womb to be called your own. Thank you for every resources you have made available to me as to make me a blessing here on earth. I bless you for configuring me to be a blessing to my generation in Jesus wonderful name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Friday January 12th, 2024.

Topic : Secrets To Fruitfulness.

Memory Verse: Colossians 2:3. For our spiritual wealth is in him, like hidden treasure waiting to be discovered—heaven’s wisdom and endless riches of revelation knowledge.

Bible Reading : Colossians 2:6-7 TPT. Key Verse: v6.

In the same way you received Jesus our Lord and Messiah by faith, continue your journey of faith, progressing further into your union with him! Your spiritual roots go deeply into his life as you are continually infused with strength, encouraged in every way. For you are established in the faith you have absorbed and enriched by your devotion to him!

Christianity is a great and worthwhile journey with God that transforms a man in entirety. The deeper you go into Christ, the sweeter the relationship or the journey becomes. Many prefer to stay on the surface rather and be scrambling for crumbs instead because they are only interested what they can get from the Lord instead of working on cultivating deep and rewarding relationship with him. We have not been called to belong him in vain. There are uncommon riches and wealth, real blessings treasures hidden in him deep down that is inexhaustible that we need to explore to our benefit. “Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints: To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:” Colossians 1:26-27 KJV.

In the first place, we need to understand that Christianity is a life of union with him. We become one with God in the spirit through Christ Jesus. “I pray that they may all be one. Father! May they be in us, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they be one, so that the world will believe that you sent me. I gave them the same glory you gave me, so that they may be one, just as you and I are one: I in them and you in me, so that they may be completely one, in order that the world may know that you sent me and that you love them as you love me.” John 17:21-23 GNB. At salvation, we get planted on the soil of this union. Our progress or growth in the union remains our responsibility and not that of God.

There is need therefore for each and every one of us to make conscious efforts to get properly rooted in him and to make sure that our roots travel as deep as is possible so that we can be solidly grounded in him by knowledge. This type of knowledge is not acquired in the classrooms of this world, but by revelation through the channels of the Spirit. This is key to drawing strength for kingdom relevance and nutrients that are always available in him in order to be fruitful in every sphere of our lives. Today, decide not to stop you journey with him on the surface where men receive Christ by faith. Make up your mind to dig deeper into the realms of revelational knowledge that is always a bye product of going for depths in him. At this point, you will see yourself do things men never thought you could do in life. “Remain united to me, and I will remain united to you. A branch cannot bear fruit by itself; it can do so only if it remains in the vine. In the same way you cannot bear fruit unless you remain in me. “I am the vine, and you are the branches. Those who remain in me, and I in them, will bear much fruit; for you can do nothing without me.” John 15:4-5.

Prayer : Thank you Father God for calling into a life of all round fruitfulness. From today, help me to be totally devoted to you. Let my roots go deep into you. Help me to know you be revelations. Let my life bear fruits in every dimension in Jesus wonderful name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Our Sure Ground Of Safety And Help.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Thursday January 11, 2024.

Topic : Our Sure Ground Of Safety And Help.

Memory Verse:Psalms 121:8. The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.

Bible Reading :Psalms 121:1-5 KJV. Key Verse: v2.

I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth. He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber. Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep. The LORD is thy keeper: the LORD is thy shade upon thy right hand.

When we receive help in life, it makes things work out faster and better. Sometimes a helping hand can make you accomplish things you won’t be able to, on your own. The help of men can always fail or be handicapped, but no man can stop God when he is out to help anyone or people. The people of Israel was one people that received divine help without valuing it as some are doing today. “They are a nation without sense, there is no discernment in them. If only they were wise and would understand this and discern what their end will be! How could one man chase a thousand, or two put ten thousand to flight, unless their Rock had sold them, unless the Lord had given them up?” Deuteronomy‬ ‭32:28‭-‬30‬ ‭NIV‬‬.

It is wisdom for anyone to make the creator of the universe his help, strong tower and hiding place. Because he created all things, he has control over them all. They serve his will and purpose anyday and anytime.” Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins: Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.”
Colossians 1:13-17.

The foundation for anyone to enjoy the fulness of divine help through the journey of life is to submit to his son Jesus Christ, by whom he redeemed mankind from the forces of darkness and destruction. Whatever we are looking for in this life is found in Jesus Christ in abundance. If you are looking for safety and protection from wicked forces and enemies of your life, if you feel unsafe because of the activities of the evil ones around you, if are you living under the threats of enemies daily, if you are hopeless and helpless, your sure bet for safety, help and preservation is Jesus Christ, the rock of safety and saviour of the universe. “Join me, everyone! Let’s praise the Lord together. Let’s make him famous! Let’s make his name glorious to all. Listen to my testimony: I cried to God in my distress and he answered me. He freed me from all my fears! Gaze upon him, join your life with his, and joy will come. Your faces will glisten with glory. You’ll never wear that shame-face again.” Psalm 34:3-5 TPT.

Prayer :Thank you Father God for giving me Jesus. Lord Jesus, I worship and give you glory because you are committed to my safety and well-being all the time. Thank you because my trust is in you, therefore I will never lack help or be put to shame in Jesus wonderful name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Lessons From The Thessalonian Church

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Wednesday January 10th 2024.

Topic : Lessons From The Thessalonian Church.

Memory Verse :‭‭1 Thessalonians‬ ‭1:5‬. because our gospel came to you not simply with words but also with power, with the Holy Spirit and deep conviction. You know how we lived among you for your sake.

Bible Reading :‭‭1 Thessalonians‬ ‭1:2‭-‬4‬ ‭NIV‬‬. Key Verse: v3.

We always thank God for all of you and continually mention you in our prayers. We remember before our God and Father your work produced by faith, your labor prompted by love, and your endurance inspired by hope in our Lord Jesus Christ. For we know, brothers and sisters loved by God, that he has chosen you,

The Thessalonian church was founded by Paul during his second missionary journey. He desired to have spent enough time with them building them up in the faith, but couldn’t. His stay with them was cut short by persecution which made him to leave them prematurely. Having them at heart and keeping them always in his prayers, he had to send his son and ministry partner Timothy to take care of them and to see to their well being, who came back with encouraging report about them. One thing we need to note about this Thessalonian church is that they received the gospel in the midst of severe persecution, yet they were able to stand their ground, having known the truth, what they went through notwithstanding. Not only that, they became instrumental in making sure that the message spread around their territory and region, till they became a reference point for others. “And so you became a model to all the believers in Macedonia and Achaia. The Lord’s message rang out from you not only in Macedonia and Achaia—your faith in God has become known everywhere. Therefore we do not need to say anything about it,” 1 Thessalonians‬ ‭1:7‭-‬8‬.

There are some qualities I see in this Thessalonian Church that is worth emulating in our days. The first one is that they had works as evidence of their new found faith in Christ. It is true that our personal works cannot save, but the finished work of the cross. Yet, after we are saved, it is our new found works of faith, which we couldn’t do in the past (before our convertion) that validates what we believe. One can say that such works of love can be seen as expressions of faith because they give faith life. Faith will always push the one who has it to Labour in love, like Jesus Christ himself, i. e. in Evangelism. “So then faith that doesn’t involve action is phony. But someone might object and say, “One person has faith and another person has works.” Go ahead then and prove to me that you have faith without works and I will show you faith by my works as proof that I believe. You can believe all you want that there is one true God, that’s wonderful! But even the demons know this and tremble with fear before him, yet they’re unchanged—they remain demons.” James 2:17-19 TPT.

Another quality that the Thessalonian Church had that we need to emulate is their ability to endure persecution and be fruitful in the midst of it because of their new found hope in Christ Jesus. This hope was so real that they had no problems paying any price to make it real in their lives. “Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade. This inheritance is kept in heaven for you, who through faith are shielded by God’s power until the coming of the salvation that is ready to be revealed in the last time. In all this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials.” 1 Peter‬ ‭1:3‭-‬6‬.

Prayer :Thank you Father God because you are always faithful. Today help me to stand firm in you by faith. When my faith is being tried, help not to fail. Help me to always bear fruits in you circumstances notwithstanding in Jesus wonderful name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Don’t Be Like Eli And His Children

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Tuesday January 9th, 2024.

Topic : Don’t Be Like Eli And His Children.

Memory Verse: ‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭12:6‬. because the Lord disciplines the one he loves, and he chastens everyone he accepts as his son.”

Bible Reading :‭‭1 Samuel‬ ‭2:30‭-‬32‬ ‭NIV‬‬. Key Verse : v30.

“Therefore the Lord, the God of Israel, declares: ‘I promised that members of your family would minister before me forever.’ But now the Lord declares: ‘Far be it from me! Those who honor me I will honor, but those who despise me will be disdained. The time is coming when I will cut short your strength and the strength of your priestly house, so that no one in it will reach old age, and you will see distress in my dwelling. Although good will be done to Israel, no one in your family line will ever reach old age.

God had sounded a strong warning to Eli the priest in Shiloh who had no control over his sons Hophni and Phinehas, who was desacrating and degrading the house of God and treating God, his people and the office where they served without respect. Now, God had to send a man of God to warn Eli, so that he could call his sons to order, but he didn’t. In chapter 3, God sent another strong warning through boy Samuel who was innocently serving on the altar then. In all these, Eli couldn’t take advantage of these windows to bring his sons to the point of repentance as to avert the wrath of God. “At that time I will carry out against Eli everything I spoke against his family—from beginning to end. For I told him that I would judge his family forever because of the sin he knew about; his sons blasphemed God, and he failed to restrain them.”
1 Samuel‬ ‭3:12‭-‬13‬.

Today, we have to learn not to be like Eli who couldn’t take advantage of the warnings of the Lord to correct his children and put his house in order before the Lord. At the end, they were all consumed by the wrath of God. A man like David as king wasn’t perfect, but he had a heart that is always broken before the Lord in repentance anytime he sins. Even when confronted by Prophets with his mistakes, he humbly takes responsibility and seeks the Lord for his mercies and forgiveness. God comes down hard with pronounced punishment when we fail to take correction or repent. Nineveh is a very good case study. “All persons and animals must wear sackcloth. Everyone must pray earnestly to God and must give up his wicked behaviour and his evil actions. Perhaps God will change his mind; perhaps he will stop being angry, and we will not die!” God saw what they did; he saw that they had given up their wicked behaviour. So he changed his mind and did not punish them as he had said he would.”
Jonah 3:8-10 GNB.

Many people including believers enjoy the promises and blessings of the Lord, but hate his corrective ministry in our lives. We have to learn to embrace not only the sweet promises of God, but also his corrections when they come directly from the Spirit of God, leaders that God placed over us or fellow believers, their placement notwithstanding. “Have you forgotten the encouraging words which God speaks to you as his sons and daughters? “My child, pay attention when the Lord corrects you, and do not be discouraged when he rebukes you. Because the Lord corrects everyone he loves, and punishes everyone he accepts as his child. ”Endure what you suffer as being a father’s punishment; your suffering shows that God is treating you as his children. Was there ever a child who was not punished by his father? If you are not punished, as all his children are, it means you are not real children, but bastards.” believers. Hebrews 12:5-8 GNB.

Prayer :Thank you Father God because the one you love, you will always correct. Today, help me to humble myself before you anytime I am being corrected by your Spirit or you send other men to correct me. Keep me from pride, arrogant and unrepentant spirit all my days in Jesus precious name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Victory By Gratitude

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Monday January 8th, 2024.

Topic : Victory By Gratitude.

Memory Verse:‭‭2 Samuel‬ ‭22:35‬. He trains my hands for battle; my arms can bend a bow of bronze.

‭‭2 Samuel‬ ‭22:31‭-‬32‬ ‭NIV‬‬. Key Verse: v22.

“As for God, his way is perfect: The Lord’s word is flawless; he shields all who take refuge in him. For who is God besides the Lord? And who is the Rock except our God?

He makes my feet like the feet of a deer; he causes me to stand on the heights.

As we start a new year, everyone who is wise is looking upto God for one thing or another, because of the understanding that without him we can do nothing. Many have started seeking the face of God to get his backing as they plan what they want to do as individuals and as groups. The right way to start with God this year is by being full of gratitude for all he has done in our lives before now. Truth is that when men fail to give thanks, it’s because we are ungrateful and keep seeing the things God is yet to do instead. “Make your life a prayer. And in the midst of everything be always giving thanks, for this is God’s perfect plan for you in Christ Jesus.” 1 Thessalonians 5:17-18. This means that we have to our lives in constant communication with God our father. Not only that, we need also to live thankful lives. We have to learn to thank God even for things he is yet to do because he will always give us his best.

Think about the wicked plans of the enemy that God thwarted before you. Remember the victories you enjoyed from him that you can’t even explain. You are where you are today and was able to achieve in the past because the Lord showed up on your behalf in mercy. “He shot his arrows and scattered the enemy, with great bolts of lightning he routed them. The valleys of the sea were exposed and the foundations of the earth laid bare at the rebuke of the Lord, at the blast of breath from his nostrils.
He rescued me from my powerful enemy, from my foes, who were too strong for me. He reached down from on high and took hold of me; he drew me out of deep waters. He rescued me from my powerful enemy, from my foes, who were too strong for me. ” 2 Samuel‬ ‭22:15‭-‬18‬.

Never forget that he is the one who will teach you by his Spirit to war with his own unfailing strategies that the enemy doesn’t have the capacity to contain and prevail. Again, speed belongs to him. His hands upon a man’s life guarantees divine speed that causes a man to overtake men who used to be ahead of him in life. His strength upon a man will enable him do things that will make men to wonder. He is a sure foundation and rock that is large enough to contain everyone on earth, our physical locations notwithstanding. Make up your mind to be with and live for him this year and beyond. Do everything can to warm yourself into his heart by heartfelt service. When you become answerable to him, he will cause everything around you to be answerable to your good self. ‭‭”When the Lord takes pleasure in anyone’s way, he causes their enemies to make peace with them.” Proverbs‬ ‭16:7‬.

Prayer :Thank you Father God because you have been my strength and my rock. Thank you for how far you have brought me on this life. As I live to serve your purpose this year, cause me to swim in endless victories in Jesus wonderful name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Jesus Cares About You.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Sunday January 7th, 2024.

Topic: Jesus Cares About You.

Memory Verse:1 Peter 5:10. But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.

Bible Reading :1 Peter 5:6-9. Key Verse: v7.

Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you. Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.

Apostle Peter is speaking to us here as a kingdom pillar and elder with much experience. He wants us to have understanding that God cares about us in any situation we find ourselves, even when we go through difficult times. The care God gives us is comparable to that of a mother to her child that she is nursing; very tender, born out of undiluted love. He doesn’t abandon us when we face challenges. His presence therefore is key to our assured victory in every situation and all the time. “But Zion said, The LORD hath forsaken me, and my Lord hath forgotten me. Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee. Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands; thy walls are continually before me.” Isaiah 49:14-16.

Again, he is also trying to let us know here and today some conditions we need to meet to retain his valued presence as to be sure of his timely intervention anytime we need it. The first of such is that we need to humble ourselves before the Lord because God hates proud and arrogant people and cannot work with such. Humility is a very important key that unlocks the doors of grace and mercy which are the channels through which we receive from God daily. “Does the Scripture mean nothing to you that says, “The Spirit that God breathed into our hearts is a jealous Lover who intensely desires to have more and more of us”? But he continues to pour out more and more grace upon us. For it says, God resists you when you are proud but continually pours out grace when you are humble.” So then, surrender to God. Stand up to the devil and resist him and he will turn and run away from you.” James 4:5-7 TPT.

Another condition to keep enjoying his care and interventions is that we have to live sober and vigilant. Being sober helps us to be more careful in our engagements as to avoid costly mistakes or self inflicted injuries. On the other hand, a life of vigilance is a product of right understanding of the fact that we are at war with an enemy, Satan the devil himself. Knowing that we don’t have what it takes to defeat him on our own, we therefore have to be humbly submitted to our Lord Jesus who has defeated him already, so that we can live by the victory he already acquired for us or on our behalf. “Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?

As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us .” Romans 8:35-37.

Prayer :Thank you Father God for being so careful about me, as to give me Jesus. Thank you Lord Jesus because your love for me is not in doubt. Help me to live before you in humble submission to your will and purpose even when I face difficult situations. Thank you because as I obey your instructions, I will walk in everlasting victory in Jesus wonderful name….. Amen 🙏🏿.
