Bible Reading :‭‭John‬ ‭1:12‭-‬14‬ ‭NIV‬‬. Key Verse: v12.

Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God— children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband’s will, but born of God. The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.

Jesus Christ is God’s precious gift to mankind. He is the source of all things we can or can’t see. He is the creator that was not created. All things were made by him and to serve his purpose. He appeared at the point of creation as the word that moulded all things. ‭‭”In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.” John‬ ‭1:1‬-3.

In this last days, he manifested in the flesh as a man through a virgin birth by the miracle working power of God. He came to deliver man from every power of the enemy that held man down in captivity through sin and unbelief. He demonstrated victory over the devil in his death and resurrection through which he empowered us by his Spirit to live victoriously, using resources available only in him. This becomes possible when we yield to his call to follow. Jesus came to the earth to raise many sons unto the father. “Jesus answered, “Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit. You should not be surprised at my saying, ‘You must be born again.’ The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit.” John‬ ‭3:5‬-8.

There is power to become or the legal right to function as a child of God, which is found only in Jesus Christ. This legal right comes as a gift from a loving saviour when we believe in his name. At this point, we qualify to use his name to affect our generation and bring glory to him. At this point, he lives inside us by his Spirit who does a transformational work in us to enable us impact our world. “Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned. And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well.”

Mark‬ ‭16:16‭-‬18‬.

Prayer :Thank you Father God for giving me your one and only son. Lord Jesus I worship you because you saved my soul so that I live the rest of my life for you. Help me to understand what you have done as to use every resources available in you to make you known to men in my lifetime in Jesus wonderful name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Topic : Build Next Generation Legacies.

Memory Verse: 1 Kings 11:6. And Solomon did evil in the sight of the LORD, and went not fully after the LORD, as did David his father.

Bible Reading :1 Kings 11:3-5. Key Verse :v4

And he had seven hundred wives, princesses, and three hundred concubines: and his wives turned away his heart. For it came to pass, when Solomon was old, that his wives turned away his heart after other gods: and his heart was not perfect with the LORD his God, as was the heart of David his father. For Solomon went after Ashtoreth the goddess of the Zidonians, and after Milcom the abomination of the Ammonites.

We are blessed to have men who went before us in the kingdom that we can learn wisdom from tbeir records ( their strength and weaknesses) in their walk with God. Themselves had no privilege to read the Bible and learn from any known characters they needed to model themselves after to please God. To me, those of them that did very well deserve double honour because of their raw faith, bravery and discipline in following or serving the Lord which is worth emulating. “And what shall I more say? for the time would fail me to tell of Gedeon, and of Barak, and of Samson, and of Jephthae; of David also, and Samuel, and of the prophets: Who through faith subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions, Quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, waxed valiant in fight, turned to flight the armies of the aliens. Women received their dead raised to life again: and others were tortured, not accepting deliverance; that they might obtain a better resurrection:” Hebrews 11:32-35.

Now coming to king Solomon, we need to learn discipline from his later life. This is a man that began very well. He leveraged on the goodwill of his father David and the fact the he did things that moved God’s hands mightily on his behalf by making an unprecedented sacrifice before the Lord, who in response gave him an unprecedented covenant of blessing. As we can see, he couldn’t manage his greatness and glory properly because of indiscipline. He allowed the blessing of God to sway him into many ungodly relationships that took his heart away from God as we can see. Strange women made him to follow strange gods to inccure the wrath of God. “And the LORD was angry with Solomon, because his heart was turned from the LORD God of Israel, which had appeared unto him twice, And had commanded him concerning this thing, that he should not go after other gods: but he kept not that which the LORD commanded. Wherefore the LORD said unto Solomon, Forasmuch as this is done of thee, and thou hast not kept my covenant and my statutes, which I have commanded thee, I will surely rend the kingdom from thee, and will give it to thy servant.” 1 Kings 11:9-11.

Now, we need to learn that every man in low estate is always humbled by circumstances. True humility, discipline and submission before the Lord can only be properly evaluated when we have been made. When we begin to live in the answers to our prayers or in our dreams. When God finally lifts you to a place of affluence and influence where everything is at your beck and call. It takes discipline to stay humble and totally obedient to the Lord as one used to be in the days of little beginning. Today we need to pray into our future. We are going to ask the Lord to keep us from anything that will cause us to go astray in our walk with him, when we begin to walk in his higher blessings and things that goes with it. There are many traps out there that the enemy will want to use and destroy a man. Only the Spirit can help us overcome when we are determined to please him in our hearts. We must have a strong desire to finish strong like David. Our lives and legacies should be such that the next generation should be able to build upon. We become a joke and a waste of divine investment in the kingdom, when it doesn’t go that way.

Prayer :Thank you Father God because you are a faithful caller. Thank you because you are going to cause me to live in my dreams. After you have lifted and blessed me, keep me from going astray. Help me to build legacies that will stand the test of time in Jesus wonderful name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

What harmony is there between Christ and Belial? Or what does a believer have in common with an unbeliever?

Therefore, “Come out from them and be separate, says the Lord. Touch no unclean thing, and I will receive you.”

In the beginning of all things, God created man as his representative on earth. The is the reason man had to carry God’s likeness and image. That bestowed on man the right capacity to tend the earth. “Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.” So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them. God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground.” Genesis‬ ‭1:26‭-‬28‬.

The greatest gift God gave man was himself. That’s the reason the Bible said that God was in his son, reconciling the world to himself. God has always had a soft spot for man from creation, having created man and empowered him to rule over every other creatures on earth. The fall tampered with this plan till Jesus came to our rescue. When we get reconciled through Christ and the work of the cross, we get restored to this plan of God. In the old testament God related with man majorly through visitations, but in the new his way of ralationship with man became habitational. ” Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are. Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seemeth to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise.” 1 Corinthians 3:16-18 KJV.

Before Jesus came, the temple of God were houses built by man, but in the new order, we all that believe and received him have become the temple ourselves. We therefore have to make sure that we are clean because the Spirit of God live and work in us. He does not live in contaminated, dirty or polluted men. Such uninhabitable conditions sometimes can be a bye product of ungodly associations or relationships that takes a man away from the presence of the almighty or that encourages him to walk in disobedience. “But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour. If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master’s use, and prepared unto every good work . Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.” 2 Timothy 2:20-22 KJV.

Prayer :Thank you Father God for redeeming me unto yourself through the blood of Jesus shed for me. Help me to live all my days with the consciousness of who I am in you. Thank you for making me your habitation. Help me to live a life that you can always use to glorify yourself on earth in Jesus precious name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Topic : Winners Don’t Quit.

Memory Verse: 2 Samuel 8:14. And he put garrisons in Edom; throughout all Edom put he garrisons, and all they of Edom became David’s servants. And the LORD preserved David whithersoever he went.

Bible Reading :2 Samuel 8:11-13. Key Verse: v13.

Which also king David did dedicate unto the LORD, with the silver and gold that he had dedicated of all nations which he subdued; Of Syria, and of Moab, and of the children of Ammon, and of the Philistines, and of Amalek, and of the spoil of Hadadezer, son of Rehob, king of Zobah.

And David gat him a name when he returned from smiting of the Syrians in the valley of salt, being eighteen thousand men.

God’s presence in the life of David was the secret of his exploits, strength and greatness. Because grace found him on time in his father’s house, everything about him began to take the shape of glory and honour after he was anointed king in seclusion right there in his father’s house. God began a new work by announcing him in the open through his encounter with Goliath. “And it came to pass as they came, when David was returned from the slaughter of the Philistine, that the women came out of all cities of Israel, singing and dancing, to meet king Saul, with tabrets, with joy, and with instruments of musick. And the women answered one another as they played, and said, Saul hath slain his thousands, and David his ten thousands. And Saul was very wroth, and the saying displeased him; and he said, They have ascribed unto David ten thousands, and to me they have ascribed but thousands: and what can he have more but the kingdom?” 1 Samuel 18:6-8.

Despite the challenges David faced after he killed Goliath and his popularity soared, the same presence of God preserved him through the toughest season of his life. King Saul did everything humanly possible to eliminate him, bur the Lord preserved his life through abnormal terrains and circumstances. Now Saul was dead and out of the way and David had become king over Israel as destined by God. As king, the presence of God made David wax strong in battles anywhere he went. The Lord gave him victory till he became great and prosperous. The powers of opposition despite being formidable and coming from the high places couldn’t stop God’s glorious plan for his life.

Today, there are many whom God is taking to greater heights in life, who are presently faced with stiff opposition. At the moment, from every human perspective, their vision looks like a tall order looking at where they are coming from and what they are passing through. To such people there’s a word of encouragement today. The God that saw David through in his trying times will see you through and give you a new song. Now, hear this…. “Hearken to me, ye that follow after righteousness, ye that seek the LORD: look unto the rock whence ye are hewn, and to the hole of the pit whence ye are digged. Look unto Abraham your father, and unto Sarah that bare you: for I called him alone, and blessed him, and increased him. For the LORD shall comfort Zion: he will comfort all her waste places; and he will make her wilderness like Eden, and her desert like the garden of the LORD; joy and gladness shall be found therein, thanksgiving, and the voice of melody.” Isaiah 51:1-3.

Prayer :Thank you Father God because your glorious plan for my life cannot be truncated. Let your presence be my portion. By your power, I overcome every obstacles and opposition the enemy brings my way and I enter into my glorious destiny by mercies of God in Jesus wonderful name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Topic :He Came To Give Us Good Life.

Memory Verse: 3 John. I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth.

Bible Reading :3 John 1:1-3 KJV. Key Verse: v2.

The elder unto the wellbeloved Gaius, whom I love in the truth.

Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth. For I rejoiced greatly, when the brethren came and testified of the truth that is in thee, even as thou walkest in the truth.

John was writing Gaius as his pastor or one who waa under his spiritual watch. What elder (Pastor) John told Gaius his sin and friend yesterday, he is telling us today. The man of God here is trying to communicate God’s mind to us which he laboured in prayer to birth or make visible in the life of believers. Our calling we need to understand here on earth is a calling unto a life of excellence. God’s will is that everything about us should radiate his touch of glory and honour when we walk in the truth. “But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light: Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.” 1 Peter 2:9-10.

Our calling by covenant is to display the goodness of our master to all men or every creature here on earth. We are to make sure that we live our lives operating in the centre of God’s plan or will for our individual and collective Christian lives which ia a life of all round success that touches our spirit, soul and body. ” And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth . And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the beasts and the elders: and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands; Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour , and glory, and blessing. And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever.”
Revelation 5:10-13.

Now we need to understand that Jesus Christ is God in human form. He came to the earth in order to be able to live among men, take on the enemy of our soul and recover for us that which the enemy stole or tampered with at the fall through redemption. Every battles he fought during his earthly life and ministry was our own battles. Every victory he got here through his death and resurrection belongs to us. He is God and therefore lacked nothing. He took our place in everything to help us recover fully from every effect of sin and the consequences of the fall. Therefore, sickness, poverty, decreases, failure, retardation and every negativity you can think of has been taken care of by him. Those things we see him receive in the book of Revelations as listed above was acquired with his blood that was shed for us to take advantage of and have a good earthly life that is meaningful and impactful. We therefore live by the victory he got on our behalf. “And everything I’ve taught you is so that the peace which is in me will be in you and will give you great confidence as you rest in me. For in this unbelieving world you will experience trouble and sorrows, but you must be courageous, for I have conquered the world!” John 16:33 TPT.

Prayer : Thank you Father God for giving me Jesus your son. Thank you Lord Jesus for taking on the enemy on my behalf and recovering all that was stolen from me at the fall. From today, I begin live in the reality of the restoration and victory you got on my behalf, in every department of my life in Jesus wonderful name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Topic :Repentance, Key To Blessing.

Bible Reading :Isaiah 1:18-20. Key Verse: v18.

Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land: But if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.

At this time in history, the people of God were backsliden and the land was filled corruption from the least to the great. The judges were not left out as they sold justice and oppressed the weak and vulnerable. The fatherless, widows, and less privileged were oppressed at will, yet the people who lived contrary were very occupied with religion. They were bringing proceeds of fraud to the house of God without listening to his commands to obey them. They thought they could buy the creator of the universe with their gifts. “To what purpose is the multitude of your sacrifices unto me? saith the LORD: I am full of the burnt offerings of rams, and the fat of fed beasts; and I delight not in the blood of bullocks, or of lambs, or of he goats. When ye come to appear before me, who hath required this at your hand, to tread my courts? Bring no more vain oblations; incense is an abomination unto me; the new moons and sabbaths, the calling of assemblies, I cannot away with; it is iniquity, even the solemn meeting.” Isaiah 1:11-13.

God sent Isaiah the prophet here to call the people back to himself. What God requires from the wicked and sinner is just to turn from their wicked and sinful ways and do what is right to enjoy his forgiveness and mercy. The Lord will always rebuke us when we go astray because we belong to him. Anytime men wallow in evil and wickedness, they incure the wrath of God and divine judgement, especially when they fail to recognise his warnings as to heed such, when they ignore the corrective grace of God. “Why should ye be stricken any more? ye will revolt more and more: the whole head is sick, and the whole heart faint. From the sole of the foot even unto the head there is no soundness in it; but wounds, and bruises, and putrifying sores: they have not been closed, neither bound up, neither mollified with ointment. Your country is desolate, your cities are burned with fire: your land, strangers devour it in your presence, and it is desolate, as overthrown by strangers.”
Isaiah 1:5-7.

This day, the Lord wants us to reason with him and turn from our ungodly, religious, oppressive and wicked ways. Some of the troubles we go through sometimes are because we walk in disobedience. When that happens, heaven close against men and struggle sets in. The only to unlock such closed heavens as to enjoy God’s blessings is to follow the way of representance from the depths our hearts. Trust the Lord, he is ever ready to forgive us in his mercy when we heed his rebuke and do that which is right before him. That is key to enjoying the good of the land. “If I shut up heaven that there be no rain, or if I command the locusts to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among my people; If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” 2 Chronicles 7:13-14.

Prayer : Thank you Father God because whom you love, you chastise. Today I repent in any way I have gone astray before you. Have mercy on me wherever I have missed it in the past. I return to the paths of obedience to your commands today. By your mighty mercies, let your favour and blessing be my portion forever in Jesus wonderful name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Topic : Blessed To Be Fruitful.

Memory Verse: Genesis 1:29. And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.

Bible Reading :Genesis 1:26-28 KJV. Key Verse: v28.

And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

Everything about life and creation centers around man. Man as created by God has a special place in in his heart. “For God will not place the coming world, of which we speak, under the government of angels. But the Scriptures affirm: What is man that you would even think about him, or care about Adam’s race. You made him lower than the angels for a little while. You placed your glory and honor upon his head as a crown. And you have given him dominion over the works of your hands,” Hebrews 2:5-7 TPT. That is the reason he had to take time to create the earth and everything we can see today in preparation for the creation of man. Every other things he created was targeted at preparing the ground for the creation of man. After God took five days to create other things in preparation, on the sixth day he created man as the last of his creatures, before taking a rest on th7th day because his work was done.

As believers, we need to understand what God did for us at creation which was lost through sin but restored by redemption. The first thing I want us to understand clearly is that we are designed by God from creation to be fruitful by nature. From creation we were blessed and empowered to live a fruitful life in everything we do or every aspect of our lives. Our blessing therefore is by covenant, it doesn’t come when we pray, rather we manifest it anywhere we go and under any circumstances because that is just the way we were programmed by God to function. This implies that divine multiplication or increase is also our way of life that cannot be controlled by circumstance or any external forces. “When your lives bear abundant fruit, you demonstrate that you are my mature disciples who glorify my Father! “I love each of you with the same love that the Father loves me. You must continually let my love nourish your hearts. If you keep my commands, you will live in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commands, for I continually live nourished and empowered by his love. My purpose for telling you these things is so that the joy that I experience will fill your hearts with overflowing gladness!” John 15:8-11 TPT.

Another fact we need to note from this passage is that the reason circumstances and external forces are helpless about whom we are in Christ Jesus is because we are created in his image and likeness. This image and likeness is not about physical appearance. Rather it is a spiritual semblance. In the spirit realm we possess his characteristics. This was made possible by the breath he gave us at creation that made man a living soul. That was a deposit of himself in man. “And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.” Genesis 2:7. That is how we were empowered to bear rule over every other creature. You therefore have what it takes to subdue and bring every power around you to obey the word of God in your life. “(For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)

Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;” 2 Corinthians 10:4-5.

Prayer : Thank you Father God for what you did in my life. I worship you for creating me to be just like you. Thank you for blessing me and giving me your inbuilt fruitful nature to live with. Thank you because nothing can stop me from bearing fruits in every aspect of my life in Jesus wonderful name….. Amen 🙏🏿.

Topic : Restoration And Recovery.

Bible Reading :Jeremiah 31:1-3 GNB. Key Verse : v3.

The Lord says, “The time is coming when I will be the God of all the tribes of Israel, and they will be my people. In the desert I showed mercy to those people who had escaped death. When the people of Israel longed for rest, I appeared to them from far away. People of Israel, I have always loved you, so I continue to show you my constant love.

The people people of Israel rebelled against the Lord and he allowed them to be carried captives to other nations. They suffered in the hands of their captors and oppressors. In all these what God needed from them was a repentant heart. Even in their travails, God was still with them in his love trying to gather them back to himself in mercy. “Thy mercy, O LORD, is in the heavens; and thy faithfulness reacheth unto the clouds. Thy righteousness is like the great mountains; thy judgments are a great deep: O LORD, thou preservest man and beast. How excellent is thy lovingkindness, O God! therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of thy wings. They shall be abundantly satisfied with the fatness of thy house; and thou shalt make them drink of the river of thy pleasures. For with thee is the fountain of life: in thy light shall we see light.” Psalms 36:5-9 KJV.

Today the Lord in his mercies wants to restore all we lost in the past just like the people of Israel. If we can return to him with all our hearts. He will forgive us where we made mistakes, and reveal his mercy to us again. He loves for us is so strong that he had to give us Jesus to die in our stead. Because he has given us Jesus Christ, there’s nothing good and precious he can withhold from us. “Once again you will plant vineyards on the hills of Samaria, and those who plant them will eat what the vineyards produce. “Yes, the time is coming when watchmen will call out on the hills of Ephraim, ‘Let’s go up to Zion, to the Lord our God.’ ”The Lord says, “Sing with joy for Israel, the greatest of the nations. Sing your song of praise, ‘The Lord has saved his people; he has rescued all who are left.’ I will bring them from the north and gather them from the ends of the earth. The blind and the lame will come with them, pregnant women and those about to give birth. They will come back a great nation.” Jeremiah 31:5-8.

Today, have understanding that the Lord is interested in everything that concerns you. He wants every department of your life to work well including your spiritual life, finances, marital life, etc. He does not abandon us in the midst of our troubles, even when we suffer because of our mistakes, all we need to enjoy his mercy and favour is to run back to his open arms in repentance. Today the Lord is changing the story of as many as are reading this who will run back into his arms of love for comfort. There will be a song of divine restoration and recovery to some, while others are going to break into new grounds of uncommon testimonies. “They will come and sing for joy on Mount Zion and be delighted with my gifts — gifts of corn and wine and olive oil, gifts of sheep and cattle. They will be like a well-watered garden; they will have everything they need. Then the young women will dance and be happy, and men, young and old, will rejoice. I will comfort them and turn their mourning into joy, their sorrow into gladness. I will fill the priests with the richest food and satisfy all the needs of my people. I, the Lord, have spoken.” Jeremiah 31:12-14.

Prayer : Thank you Father God today for remembering me in your mercy. I worship you because of your unfailing love towards me. As I run into your arms this day, have mercy on my failures. Thank you for your awesome restorative grace at work in my life now. I recover from my losses now. Thank you for uncommon testimonies and a new song from you in Jesus wonderful name… Amen 🙏🏿.

Topic : Keys To Divine Intervention.

Memory Verse: ‭‭2 Kings‬ ‭20:5‬. “Go back and tell Hezekiah, the ruler of my people, ‘This is what the Lord, the God of your father David, says: I have heard your prayer and seen your tears; I will heal you. On the third day from now you will go up to the temple of the Lord.

‭‭2 Kings‬ ‭20:1‭-‬3‬ ‭NIV‬‬. Key Verse : v3.

In those days Hezekiah became ill and was at the point of death. The prophet Isaiah son of Amoz went to him and said, “This is what the Lord says: Put your house in order, because you are going to die; you will not recover.” Hezekiah turned his face to the wall and prayed to the Lord, “Remember, Lord, how I have walked before you faithfully and with wholehearted devotion and have done what is good in your eyes.” And Hezekiah wept bitterly.

Every man on earth needs God’s intervention to get to where he is going. Without the backing of the Lord, no man can get anywhere in life, his personal abilities, notwithstanding. We need to know our limitations as men as to leverage on God’s willingness to help when we get him involved in our lives. Today we are seeing how God intervened in the life of king Hezekiah without delays. We need to pick some lessons from what transpired between the man of God, the king and God himself. God was quick in answering king Hezekiah because be brought strong reasons before the Lord that made the Lord change his mind in the life of his servant the king. Instead of calling him home through sickness, he was healed and given more 15 years to live as we can see. “Produce your cause, saith the LORD; bring forth your strong reasons, saith the King of
Jacob.” Isaiah 41:21 KJV.

Hezekiah was able to present an argument in his favour that God could not ignore. The first point to note here is that Hezekiah had a walk with God. There was a working relationship between him and God, that was the reason he knew that his case wasn’t in the hands of the man of God whom God used to deliver the message. He didn’t argue with him, but quickly discharged him so that he could face him who had the keys of life and death. He didn’t waste time to take his matter to God. All this was made possible because he had been relating with God before this particular time. ‭‭”Seek the Lord while he may be found; call on him while he is near. Let the wicked forsake their ways and the unrighteous their thoughts. Let them turn to the Lord, and he will have mercy on them, and to our God, for he will freely pardon.” Isaiah‬ ‭55:6‭-‬7‬.

Another factor that helped the cause of Hezekiah in his time of dire need before the Lord was the fact that he used his office to advance the course of the Lord and his kingdom. He served the Lord will unreserved devotion from the depths of his heart and God knew that. Not only that, he was faithful in the discharge of his kingly duties with the consciousness that he was rendering service unto God using his office and position as given by God. Today understand that anywhere God has placed you, you must use your position to serve him and advance his course wherever you find yourself. Discharge your duties as one accountable to God who sees all things. A time will come when you will reap the fruits of your faithfulness just like Hezekiah. “And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.” Revelation 22:12-13 KJV.

Prayer :Thank you Father God because it is you that places men. I pray that you help me to always use my position or placement in life to advance your course anywhere I find myself. Help me to serve you with unreserved devotion. Thank you because you will always be there for me when am in need in Jesus precious name….. Amen 🙏🏿.
