Teach Us To Pray (2).

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Monday March 18th, 2024.

Topic : Teach Us To Pray (2).

Memory Verse : Matthew 6:14. For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:

Bible Reading :Luke 11:2-4. Key Verse: v4.

And he said unto them, When ye pray, say, Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth.

Give us day by day our daily bread. And forgive us our sins; for we also forgive every one that is indebted to us. And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil.

Yesterday we began to look at what happened at a point in time as Jesus Christ took some of his disciples to a prayer place, as he used to do. He wanted them to learn the secret behind the miracles and mighty works that followed his ministry in the open. We know also that we learn also by observation or watching other people do things we don’t know how to do. This time, one of them wasn’t satisfied by just watching, he pressed further that they be taught the knitty gritty of the prayer life of Jesus as his inner circle as to make their own prayers as effective as his. From where we stopped yesterday, he was teaching them that God’s desire is that men should live glorious lives on earth just as it used to be with saints and angels in heavenlies. God wants the earth to become a kind of extension of heaven, so much that his purpose for man which Satan tampered with in Eden through the encounter of Eve with the snake leading to the fall, be restored by the coming of his son through men operating his earthly kingdom.

In Luke 11:4 we can see that calling God father bestowed on him responsibility for our upkeep or daily bread. Jesus hit a very important note here when he taught that we should ask for forgiveness of sin. Now it is very important to point out that the rule that governs forgiveness is that we receive from God, as much as we are ready or able to deliver same forgiveness to other men that we relate with daily when they offend us. This means that when ourselves harbour unforgiveness against our fellow men, God himself won’t be able to forgive ourselves. “And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen. For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.” Matthew 6:12-15.

Jesus also taught that we should always pray to be kept from temptations and the evil one who is Satan the devil. He is the accuser of the brethren, always looking for the slightest opportunity to harm the believer as to hurt God knowing how much love God has for us as men and his children too. One of the ways God helps us to live beyond the reach of Satan is by empowering us to live holy and righteous by his Spirit. These two important elements makes him helpless about us to the extent that he won’t be able to launch any attack on us, except by God’s special permission just like in the case of Job. Mathew further let us know that all things we are looking for belongs belongs to God including power (protection), glory (all kinds of blessings) and the kingdom (life of heaven on earth). When you need such, humbly go to him in prayers.

Prayer : Thank you Father God because everything am looking for in life that makes life good and worthwhile belongs to you. As I humbly serve and ask from you, decorate my life with them that people may believe that I belong to you in Jesus precious name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Teach Us To Pray (1).

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Sunday March 17th, 2024.

Topic : Teach Us To Pray (1).

Memory Verse : Luke 11:9. And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.

Bible Reading :Luke 11:1-3. Key Verse : v1.

And it came to pass, that, as he was praying in a certain place, when he ceased, one of his disciples said unto him, Lord, teach us to pray, as John also taught his disciples. And he said unto them, When ye pray, say, Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth. Give us day by day our daily bread.

Jesus just finished spending time in the place of prayer in the company of some of his disciples, when one of his disciples asked him to teach themselves how to pray. They had seen the effect of prayer in the life of Jesus and his earthly ministry, and desired to do exactly what he was doing. It is good to note here that what Jesus taught his disciples was rudiments of prayer and not a prayer itself as many used to think. The purpose of this teaching was for them to know as to observe the principles that govern answered prayers anytime they want to pray. For any prayers to command divine attention, these rules has to be observed by the praying man, if desired results must be achieved. One of the rules he taught them here was that they had to see and approach God as a father who is above all ( which art in heaven). “He that cometh from above is above all: he that is of the earth is earthly, and speaketh of the earth: he that cometh from heaven is above all. And what he hath seen and heard, that he testifieth; and no man receiveth his testimony.
He that hath received his testimony hath set to his seal that God is true.” John 3:31-33.

Now when we call God father, it has far reaching implications. One of such implications is that we look upto him in everything (we are dependent on him), just as children look upto their eathly father to meet their needs (give us this day our daily bread). A second implication is that we have to approach God always with audacity or confidence knowing surely that he has our interest uppermost in his heart as his children. We therefore don’t harbour any form of fears or doubts when we are dealing with him. We are sure that he will always deliver and at the right time too. A third implication is that we have a working relationship with him, just the way children don’t struggle or need a third party to relate with their biological father. The other implication is that we reverence, honour, hallow or accord him due respect as a father while relating effectively.

Another principle that will ensure answered prayers as we can see here is that we have to be kingdom minded in our pursuits, desires and petitions. “Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” Matthew 6:31-33. God’s desire is to make men live like angels on earth as it was before the fall. Now all that Jesus came to do is to restore that which man lost at the fall. When your desires align with God’s purpose of enforcing his will in the lives of men including territories, your answers will always come cheaply.

Prayer : Thank you Father God because of your faithfulness in every generation. Help me to always pray with understanding, as I align with you in my pursuits and prayer life. Thank you because your will always be done in my life and generation in Jesus wonderful name….. Amen 🙏🏿.

Patient Hope.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Saturday March 16th, 2024.

Topic : Patient Hope.

Memory Verse :Galatians 5:22. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,

Bible Reading : 1 Thessalonians 1:2-4. Key Verse :v3.

We give thanks to God always for you all, making mention of you in our prayers; Remembering without ceasing your work of faith, and labour of love, and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ, in the sight of God and our Father; Knowing, brethren beloved, your election of God.

Patience ia not just a virtue, but also a fruit of the Spirit that every believer that must worth his calling must possess. In the context of our discussion, patience is the ability to accept delays without getting offended or compromising our stand with God when things don’t take right shape as soon as we desire. It can also mean being calm in the midst of provocations. Patience for a child of God is built on hope which stems on the understanding of whom God is and his faithfulness in every situation we find ourselves. One key factor that helped brother Job not to give up on God in the midst of the fiery trials he went through is patience. “And he took him a potsherd tscrape himself withal; and he sat down among the ashes. Then said his wife unto him, Dost thou still retain thine integrity? curse God, and die. But he said unto her, Thou speakest as one of the foolish women speaketh. What? shall we receive good at the hand of God, and shall we not receive evil? In all this did not Job sin with his lips.” Job 2:8-10.

The Thessalonian church came under intense heat of persecution by Jews who were uncomfortable with Apostle Paul ministry work among the gentiles as the fire of persecution which drove many out of Jerusalem persisted through the influence of Jews in the places the gospel of our Lord Jesus was taken to those early days. Even after Paul left and others cared for the church, he was glad to learn that the seed he planted was doing well in them. They were able to stand and prevail because of their genuine faith in Jesus and their love for God and his kingdom which made them labour vigorously for the kingdom they received, not minding challenges. That was possible because of the hope they had in the Lord which made them to exercise patience, being sure of God’s faithfulness, even in times of challenges.”For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry. Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him. But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.”

Today, we are learning to be patient in our walk with God resting our hope in his faithfulness or ability to deliver at the right time.”For ye had compassion of me in my bonds, and took joyfully the spoiling of your goods, knowing in yourselves that ye have in heaven a better and an enduring substance. Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward.

For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.” Hebrews 10:34-36. We need to understand that the blesings of God comes in promises. Between the time of receiving the promises of God and the time of manifestation of that which God had promised us, patience is key in keeping the child of God on track as he waits on the Lord, till performance.

Prayer : Thank you Father God because you are always good and faithful. Help me to keep growing in you. Grant me capacity to wait on you when things seems to delay. Keep me from running ahead of you. Through patience, I enter into the fulness of God’s plan and blessing for my life in Jesus wonderful name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Accessing Divine Intervention Through Humility.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Friday March 15th, 2024.

Topic : Accessing Divine Intervention Through Humility.

Memory Verse :‭‭Psalms 51:18. May it please you to prosper Zion, to build up the walls of Jerusalem.

Bible Reading :‭Psalms 51:15-17 NIV‬. Key Verse :v17.

Open my lips, Lord, and my mouth will declare your praise. You do not delight in sacrifice, or I would bring it; you do not take pleasure in burnt offerings. My sacrifice, O God, is a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart you, God, will not despise.

Man was created to depend of God to have a successful earthly life. No matter how richly we may be endowed in this life, we need God to succeed in whatever we do. The earlier we realise the place of God in school of success and give him his rightful placement, the better our lives becomes. Everything we are or can do, becomes possible by his enablement, because he is the source of everything that is good in this life. “Do not err, my beloved brethren. Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness , neither shadow of turning.. Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.” James 1:16-18 KJV. Many people couldn’t get to where were going in life because they depended heavily on their human strength which can cave in under some levels of pressure. They failed to acknowledge God in what they do and give him the glory that is due to him.

God designed man to look upto him daily for support just the way the user of a product falls back on the manufacturer for technical assistance and maintenance which guarantees hitch free functionality. That is the reason Jesus while teaching the disciples the principles of prayer mention the fact that we should always ask from the father for our daily provisions, not only in bread or food, but also in everything. Daily, there are provisions for us before our father and creator just the way earthly parents makes certain provisions to meet some needs in the lives of their children ahead of time. These provisions are always released to us through the channel of mercy and grace while ourselves are able to access them through brokenness or humility. The humbler we are before the Lord, the more he develop enhanced capacity to access what he has for us daily because we appear before the Lord as living sacrifice. “It is of the LORD’S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness. The LORD is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in him. The LORD is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him.” Lamentations 3:22-25 KJV.

learn to approach God as a father daily and ask for his help in any area of your life that you have need. He is never tired of listening and attending to you. As a father he is eagerly waiting to receive you when you have understanding. All you need in all this is a humble spirit, which is just like a sacrifice before the Lord. God can never deny a broken and humble child that appears before him for anything good. Many who understand this principle always get the best of God at any point in time. “Then came she and worshipped him, saying, Lord, help me. But he answered and said, It is not meet to take the children’s bread, and to cast it to dogs. And she said, Truth, Lord: yet the dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from their masters’ table. Then Jesus answered and said unto her, O woman, great is thy faith: be it unto thee even as thou wilt. And her daughter was made whole from that very hour.” Matthew 15:25-28 KJV.

Prayer : Thank you Father God because you always care about me. From today, help me to always appear before you as a living sacrifice. Give me a heart that is always broken and humble in your presence. Thank you for every blessing and intervention am receiving now and forever in your presence in Jesus mighty name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Conditions For Divine Intervention.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Thursday March 14th, 2024.

Topic : Conditions For Divine Intervention.

Memory Verse : John 2:5. Mary then went to the servers and told them, “Whatever Jesus tells you, make sure that you do it!”

Bible Reading :John 2:1-2. Key Verse :v 5.

Now on the third day there was a wedding feast in the Galilean village of Cana, and the mother of Jesus was there. Jesus and his disciples were all invited to the banquet, but with so many guests in attendance, they ran out of wine. And when Mary realized it, she came to him and asked, “They have no wine, can’t you do something about it?”

Jesus Christ was one of the invited guests in this particular marriage that took place in the village of Cana situated in Galilee. At the peak of the event, the host ran out of wine. In those days marriages lasted for about three to seven days in line with Jewish culture. As they ran out of wine, the mother of Jesus went to him, demanding that he should do something to help them out. She then asked the hosts to do anything Jesus should ask them to do. “Now there were six stone water pots standing nearby. They were meant to be used for the Jewish washing rituals. Each one held about 20 gallons or more. Jesus came to the servers and told them, “Fill the pots with water, right up to the very brim.” Then he said, “Now fill your pitchers and take them to the master of ceremonies.” And when they poured out their pitcher for the master of ceremonies to sample, the water became wine! When he tasted the water that became wine, the master of ceremonies was impressed. (Although he didn’t know where the wine had come from, but the servers knew.)”John 2:6-9.

Though Jesus had no intention of doing a miracle there, he later gave in to the demands of his mother by giving them the needed assistance. He turned drinking water into one of the sweetest wine men ever drank in any occasion. “Jesus came to the servers and told them, “Fill the pots with water, right up to the very brim.” Then he said, “Now fill your pitchers and take them to the master of ceremonies.” And when they poured out their pitcher for the master of ceremonies to sample, the water became wine! When he tasted the water that became wine, the master of ceremonies was impressed. (Although he didn’t know where the wine had come from, but the servers knew.) He called the bridegroom over and said to him, “Every host serves his best wine first until everyone has had a cup or two, then he serves the wine of poor quality. But you, my friend, you’ve reserved the most exquisite wine until now!” John 2:7-10.

Now we need to learn that no man with Jesus as his guest gets stranded or disappointed in life circumstances notwithstanding. When you have him with you, he will always be your ever present help in times of need, Revelations 3:20, Psalms 46:1-7. Again, the celebrant had a miracle wine here because he followed the instructions of Jesus Christ himself as he was instructed by the mother of Jesus. The help of God will always be far away from anyone who refuses to obey the voice of the Lord in any given situation in life, Deuteronomy 7:11-16. Another thing we need to note from this incident is the need to develop capacity for the Spirit of God to live and work in us. The new wine everyone needs today to make our lives worthwhile is the Holy Spirit. We have to be open to him and willing to receive from him the newness of life that adds taste and colour to the lives of men. “And don’t get drunk with wine, which is rebellion; instead be filled with the fullness of the Holy Spirit. And your hearts will overflow with a joyful song to the Lord Jehovah. Keep speaking to each other with words of Scripture, singing the Psalms with praises and spontaneous songs given by the Spirit!” Ephesians 5:18-19.

Prayer : Thank you Lord Jesus because you are the God of new things. Thank you because no one having you in his/her gets stranded or disappointed. Help me to always discern and obey the voice of your Spirit in everything I do. Thank you for showing up on my behalf always in Jesus wonderful name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Work For Eternal Honours.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Wednesday March 13th, 2024.

Topic : Work For Eternal Honours.

Memory Verse :‭‭1 Peter 2:1. Therefore, rid yourselves of all malice and all deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and slander of every kind.

Bible Reading : ‭‭‭1 Corinthians 9:24-26 NIV‬‬. Key Verse: v24.

Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize. Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last, but we do it to get a crown that will last forever. Therefore I do not run like someone running aimlessly; I do not fight like a boxer beating the air.

In every competition, the athletes involved work on themselves to be physically fit in order to give best account of themselves. Their preparations sometimes involves rigorous exercises to burn some fat as to be in their right competiton mode. Those exercises are not very enjoyable, but necessary for a good outing. Every preparations including the competition itself are targeted at coming out tops or winning a prize that can never stand the test of time. ‭“Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
Matthew 6:19-21.

The glory and honours of this world will always fade with time. A boxer like Mohammed Ali of U.S.A. is no more. All his exploits in the boxing ring has become history. A footballer like Pele is gone, all the laurels he won playing football will never count for anything where he is now. Nigerian football greats like Stephen Keshi who won the AFCON as a player and coach are no more. A respect forward like Rashidi Yekini of Nigeria with all the records he held in Nigerian football are no more. Their earthly records are good for our memories only, they don’t count in eternity where they are now. Likewise, there are other sporting greats holding all kinds of records around the world who had succumb to the call of nature by crossing to the other side, whose lists are endless. They all are proofs that whatever we do here are temporal. Many never take thought of life after here which is forever. “Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last, but we do it to get a crown that will last forever.” 1 Corinthians 9:25.

The things of the kingdom of God can rightly be compared with things around us. The lives we live daily, things we do with opportunities given to us all count in eternity where men are rewarded after this life, depending on how we lived our lives. Some things we get involved in that appear very harmless on the surface are impediments to our progress in our spiritual lives. Such activities doesn’t glorify God and therefore when we get involved in them, the Spirit of God withdraws from us, they tell on us negatively. Our memory verse listed some of them. We must therefore avoid them in order not to fail to win the prize of eternal life. We need to understand the fact that we are striving for eternal and not temporary honours. They are things that count here on earth and after this present life, they count in eternity. ‭‭”Therefore I do not run like someone running aimlessly; I do not fight like a boxer beating the air. No, I strike a blow to my body and make it my slave so that after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified for the prize.” 1 Corinthians 9:26-27.

Prayer :Thank you Father God because you are eternal. Thank you for the opportunity you gave me in this life to work for things that stands the test of time. Help me to be focused and disciplined, as I thrive daily for eternal honours. By your mighty mercies, help me to win the crown at last in Jesus precious name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Follow The Footsteps Of Faithful Men.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Tuesday March 12th, 2024.

Topic : Follow The Footsteps Of Faithful Men.

Memory Verse: Hebrews 6:12. So don’t allow your hearts to grow dull or lose your enthusiasm, but follow the example of those who fully received what God has promised because of their strong faith and patient endurance.

Bible Reading :Hebrews 6:9-11 TPT. Key Verse : v10.

Having said that, beloved, we are fully convinced that there are more beautiful and excellent things, which flow from your salvation. For God, the Faithful One, is not unfair. How can he forget the work you have done for him? He remembers the love you demonstrate as you continually serve his beloved ones for the glory of his name. But we long to see you passionately advance until the end and you find your hope fulfilled.

Growth and maturity are very important in the life of every child of God. Without growth nobody will be able to exhibit maturity in whatever he/she does. God himself is very much interested in our walk with him and service to the saints or his kingdom as one may call it. He uses every possible opportunity to encourage us to get involved in activities or exercises that will help us grow in our knowledge of him, so as to be able to exhibit maturity when need arises. These factors makes our Christianity more productive. “In the same way that nursing infants cry for milk, you must intensely crave the pure spiritual milk of God’s Word. For this “milk” will cause you to grow into maturity, fully nourished and strong for life— especially now that you have had a taste of the goodness of the Lord Jehovah and have experienced his kindness.” 1 Peter 2:2-3 .

Now we need understand that the kingdom process that work growth and maturity most time doesn’t come with sweet or very pleasant experiences. Rather it comes at a price that many are not willing to pay, hence they are very slow while some are stuck at a point in the ladder of growth and maturity. It takes focus, commitment, discipline, sacrifices and endurance to remain on track with God unto victory. “So now we must cling tightly to the hope that lives within us, knowing that God always keeps his promises! You sympathized with those in prison and when all your belongings were confiscated you accepted that violation with joy; convinced that you possess a treasure growing in heaven that could never be taken from you. So don’t lose your bold, courageous faith, for you are destined for a great reward! You need the strength of endurance to reveal the poetry of God’s will and then you receive the promise in full.” Hebrews 10:23,34-36.

Today we have to learn from the examplary lives of men who were ahead of us or our fathers in the faith who were not in a hurry with God, but patiently walked with him following his process which prepares men before the release of some deep promises of God into their lives in a manner that everyone can see and handle. These processes are permitted by God to help work maturity in men. “Now when God made a promise to Abraham, since there was no one greater than himself, he swore an oath on his own integrity to keep the promise as sure as God exists! So he said, “Have no doubt, I promise to bless you over and over, and give you a son and multiply you without measure!” So Abraham waited patiently in faith and succeeded in seeing the promise fulfilled.” Hebrews 6:13-15.

Prayer :Thank you Father God because you are ever faithful. Help me to remain focused and disciplined in my walk with you. Help me to patiently pass through every process your designed to prepare me for higher heights and blessings in you. Thank you because you will always come through for me in Jesus wonderful name…. Prevailing In The Spirit (2).

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Monday March 11th, 2024.

Topic : Prevailing In The Spirit (2).

Memory Verse: James 5:17. Elijah was a man with human frailties, just like all of us, but he prayed and received supernatural answers. He actually shut the heavens over the land so there would be no rain for three and a half years!

Bible Reading : James 5:13-15. Key Verse: v17.

Are there any believers in your fellowship suffering great hardship and distress? Encourage them to pray! Are there happy, cheerful ones among you? Encourage them to sing out their praises! Are there any sick among you? Then ask the elders of the church to come and pray over the sick and anoint them with oil in the name of our Lord. And the prayer of faith will heal the sick and the Lord will raise them up, and if they have committed sins they will be forgiven.

Yesterday, we began to see that power to control things including nature is made available to the believer who lives a prayerful life, using Elijah as a case study. We saw that the heavens over Israel witheld rain and dew over the land for three and half years at the word of the servant of God. Immediately after his encounter with Ahab the king, the Lord sent him to the brook of cherith to be taken care of while the famine lasted. When his time there was up, he was sent to a poor widow. His presence in the house and life of the widow was enough to gurrantee divine provisions while the famine lasted. “Now Elijah the Tishbite, from Tishbe in Gilead, said to Ahab, “As the Lord, the God of Israel, lives, whom I serve, there will be neither dew nor rain in the next few years except at my word.” ‭Then the word of the Lord came to Elijah: “Leave here, turn eastward and hide in the Kerith Ravine, east of the Jordan. You will drink from the brook, and I have directed the ravens to supply you with food there.”
‭‭1 Kings 17:1-4 NIV‬‬.

Now I want to bring out something important in James 3:15. King James version called it affliction and The Passion Translation called it great hardship and distress. It was recommended that when we begin to have such ugly experience anywhere we find ourselves, the only way to stay afloat and be victorious is to pray. We need to understand here that anywhere we see affliction or great hardship and distress, the devil and his demons are at work and no man can fight or prevail over the enemy of our souls who comes to steal joy, kill and destroy every good thing he can have access to in the life of any man that he breaks into. Today we must learn that a praying man or people cannot sink in times of affliction, famine and hardship. In the place of prayer, we develop or build capacity to rule over powers of darkness that operate through their human agents to inflict humanity with all kinds of affliction that causes pain and severe hardship as seen in Nigeria and some nations today.

In the place of prayer, we are able to control things even in the political and economic circles to our favour, especially when we obey divine instructions. “Most of all, I’m writing to encourage you to pray with gratitude to God. Pray for all men with all forms of prayers and requests as you intercede with intense passion. And pray for every political leader and representative, so that we would be able to live tranquil, undisturbed lives, as we worship the awe-inspiring God with pure hearts. Therefore, I encourage the men to pray on every occasion with hands lifted to God in worship with clean hearts, free from frustration or strife.” 1 Timothy 2:1-2,8 TPT.

Prayer :Thank you Father God for making power available to your children in the place of prayer. Help me Lord to always take full advantage of enormous resources available in your presence to live above the forces of hardship, pain and afflictions all my days in Jesus wonderful name….. Amen 🙏🏿.

And the prayer of faith will heal the sick and the Lord will raise them up, and if they have committed sins they will be forgiven.

God we all know created all things that we can or cannot see with our eyes. Again he that created has what it takes to care for as well as control all that he created. Now, a man who is close to his creator who is always talking to him is a very powerful man in the sense that he can always influence or even exercise some level of control over his/her maker through the channel of communication as created by prayer. To the praying man, nothing is impossible and no situations that cannot be remedied. This scripture said it all. “Elijah was a man with human frailties, just like all of us, but he prayed and received supernatural answers. He actually shut the heavens over the land so there would be no rain for three and a half years! Then he prayed again and the skies opened up over the land so that the rain came again and produced the harvest.” James 5:17-18.

Now see what happened between Elijah the servant of God and Ahab the king….” And then this happened: Elijah the Tishbite, from among the settlers of Gilead, confronted Ahab: “As surely as God lives, the God of Israel before whom I stand in obedient service, the next years are going to see a total drought—not a drop of dew or rain unless I say otherwise.” 1 Kings 17:1 MSG. Before Elijah the servant of God came to confront the king, he had already stood in God’s presence to settle certain things with him that created as well as controls all things. When he appeared before the king, he could shut the heavens from giving neither rain nor dew for as many years as he would desire. This means that there would be no respite until he returns to change the decree he made earlier.

Because the heavens couldn’t drop ordinary dew which could sustain the vegetations, the farmine that followed his pronouncement was devastating. After his encounter with prophets of Baal on mount carmel that resulted in him hearing the sound of heavy rain, after three years and six months had gone, he still went back to talk to God till his servant could see the manifestation. “‭‭And Elijah said to Ahab, “Go, eat and drink, for there is the sound of a heavy rain.” So Ahab went off to eat and drink, but Elijah climbed to the top of Carmel, bent down to the ground and put his face between his knees. “Go and look toward the sea,” he told his servant. And he went up and looked. “There is nothing there,” he said. Seven times Elijah said, “Go back.” The seventh time the servant reported, “A cloud as small as a man’s hand is rising from the sea.” So Elijah said, “Go and tell Ahab, ‘Hitch up your chariot and go down before the rain stops you.’” 1 Kings 18:41-44 NIV‬‬.

Blessing Is Our Covenant Right.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Saturday March 9th,2024.

Topic: Blessing Is Our Covenant Right.

Memory Verse:‭‭ Galatians 3:14. He redeemed us in order that the blessing given to Abraham might come to the Gentiles through Christ Jesus, so that by faith we might receive the promise of the Spirit.

Bible Reading :‭Galatians 3:7-9 NIV‬. Key Verse: v7.

Understand, then, that those who have faith are children of Abraham. Scripture foresaw that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, and announced the gospel in advance to Abraham: “All nations will be blessed through you.” So those who rely on faith are blessed along with Abraham, the man of faith.

Father Abraham was the first man to take an uncommon journey of faith with God. He trusted God to the point of obeying his voice that instructed him to leave the people and environment where he had lived his life before the instructions came to him. “The Lord had said to Abram, “Go from your country, your people and your father’s household to the land I will show you. “I will make you into a great nation, and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you.” So Abram went, as the Lord had told him; and Lot went with him. Abram was seventy-five years old when he set out from Harran.” ‭‭Genesis 12:1-4.

Abraham walked with God and got his approval as long as faith is concerned. He patiently followed God and obeyed his voice at any given time and was blessed exceedingly. He held unto the promises of God concerning Isaac, even when circumstances or the condition of the wife would have caused him to doubt. After Isaac was finally born, the test of his life came when God instructed him to go to Mount Moriah and sacrifice Isaac to him as a burnt offering. He obeyed without arguments. That act of trust and obedience activated an everlasting covenant of uncommon blessing that we all enjoy today. ‭‭”The angel of the Lord called to Abraham from heaven a second time and said, “I swear by myself, declares the Lord, that because you have done this and have not withheld your son, your only son, I will surely bless you and make your descendants as numerous as the stars in the sky and as the sand on the seashore. Your descendants will take possession of the cities of their enemies, and through your offspring all nations on earth will be blessed, because you have obeyed me.”
Genesis 22:15-18.

Because of this covenant, everyone who relates with God by faith in his son Jesus Christ and his promises that are ever reliable are carriers of the blessings of Abraham as a birthright. This blessedness covers every dimension of our lives, starting from the spiritual (the Spirit of God given to us) to the physical or material things. All we need to enjoy these blessings is to walk with God with undiluted love and reverence which results obedience to his instructions and commands. ‭”If you fully obey the Lord your God and carefully follow all his commands I give you today, the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations on earth. All these blessings will come on you and accompany you if you obey the Lord your God:

The fruit of your womb will be blessed, and the crops of your land and the young of your livestock—the calves of your herds and the lambs of your flocks. Your basket and your kneading trough will be blessed. You will be blessed in the city and blessed in the country. The fruit of your womb will be blessed, and the crops of your land and the young of your livestock—the calves of your herds and the lambs of your flocks.” Deuteronomy 28:1-4.

Prayer :Thank you Father God for calling me into a life of blessing. I thank you for delivering me from the curse of the law. Thank you for giving me your Spirit. From today, I walk in the reality if the full measure of the blesings of Abraham by covenant in Jesus wonderful name… Amen 🙏🏿.
