Topic :The Kingdom And The Power.

Memory verse :‭‭Matthew 6:10. your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.

Bible Reading :‭Luke 17:20-22 NIV‬. Key Verse : v21.

Once, on being asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, Jesus replied, “The coming of the kingdom of God is not something that can be observed, nor will people say, ‘Here it is,’ or ‘There it is,’ because the kingdom of God is in your midst.” Then he said to his disciples, “The time is coming when you will long to see one of the days of the Son of Man, but you will not see it.

Jesus just healed 10 lepers and one of them came back to appreciate or thank him and was made whole. After that incident the Pharisees came to Jesus to ask when the kingdom of God should come. They were expecting the kingdom as spoken by prophet Nathan in 2 Samuel chapter 7. Nathan there was relaying God’s plan for king David at the point when David desired to build God a befitting house and was stopped by God by the mouth of his servant, Prophet Nathan. The word from the Lord went beyond Solomon to talk about the emergece of the Messiah in v13. Jesus is the son of David whose kingdom, which also is the kingdom of God should last forever. No other invidividual from the lineage of David fits into this description. The Jews knew about this kingdom that was also spoken of by Daniel and other prophets and they looked upto it’s emergence. ‭“In the time of those kings, the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be destroyed, nor will it be left to another people. It will crush all those kingdoms and bring them to an end, but it will itself endure forever.” Daniel 2:44.

Now the Pharisees wanted to observe a kingdom, but Jesus wanted them to be participant in and participants of the kingdom. Jesus was trying to let them know that what they were looking for was already with them. All they needed was understanding as to key into God’s move in their days. Fact is that Jesus Christ came to the earth simply to establish the kingdom of God in the hearts of men. This kingdom functions in men through the working of the Holy Spirit given to us to live by. Anywhere the kingdom of God is manifested, we experience God moving in his supernstural power that makes things happen in the lives of men. That is all about a life of signs and wonders as spoken by Jesus to his disciples before he left for heaven. “And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.” Mark 16:17-18.

Prayer :Thank you Lord Jesus for building a kingdom of power and and mighty works on earth for yourself. From today, I want to be an active player in your kingdom
Let your Spirit be at work in me to help me live above every forces of limitations just like yourself in Jesus wonderful name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Topic : Never You Doubt God.

Memory Verse :Numbers 13:30. Caleb interrupted, called for silence before Moses and said, “Let’s go up and take the land—now. We can do it.”

Bible Reading :Numbers 13:26-28 MSG. Key Verse : v30.

They presented themselves before Moses and Aaron and the whole congregation of the People of Israel in the Wilderness of Paran at Kadesh. They reported to the whole congregation and showed them the fruit of the land. Then they told the story of their trip:”We went to the land to which you sent us and, oh! It does flow with milk and honey! Just look at this fruit! The only thing is that the people who live there are fierce, their cities are huge and well fortified. Worse yet, we saw descendants of the giant Anak.

This time in history, the people of Israel were about to conquer and possess the land of Canaan. In obedience to divine instructions, Moses sent spies to survey the land in preparation for the battle that will make them posses the land in real terms. Out of each of the twelve tribes of Israel, twelve men was chosen to undertake the journey or carry out this assignment. When they came back from spying on the land after about forty days, ten men out of twelve had unbelief. They were intimidated by the size and appearance of their enemies as forget their God. “But the others said, “We can’t attack those people; they’re way stronger than we are.” They spread scary rumors among the People of Israel. They said, “We scouted out the land from one end to the other—it’s a land that swallows people whole. Everybody we saw was huge. Why, we even saw the Nephilim giants (the Anak giants come from the Nephilim). Alongside them we felt like grasshoppers. And they looked down on us as if we were grasshoppers.” Numbers 13:31-33.

The problem with these ten men of negative report is that they lacked faith. They were focused on the enemies, their strength and all they stood for and paid less or even no attention to their mighty God and what he could do. These men were quick to forget the power of the Lord who brought them out of Egypt against every resistance that Pharaoh put up. They forgot God’s presence that followed them through their journey to the point where they were and his mighty acts as revealed to them in the course of their journey through the wilderness. They looked down on their God and not themselves because the journey including the battles was mainly about their God and his commitment to establish his good plan for their lives which no man, people, kingdom or spirit(s) had capacity to truncate. Now, hear thi… “The sons of Aaron, the priests, are to blow the trumpets. This is to be a lasting ordinance for you and the generations to come. When you go into battle in your own land against an enemy who is oppressing you, sound a blast on the trumpets. Then you will be remembered by the Lord your God and rescued from your enemies. Also at your times of rejoicing—your appointed festivals and New Moon feasts—you are to sound the trumpets over your burnt offerings and fellowship offerings, and they will be a memorial for you before your God. I am the Lord your God.”
Numbers 10:8-10 NIV‬‬.

The Bible recorded that Caleb and Joshua had a different spirit. While majority of their colleagues was captured by the spirit of fear, themselves stood out in faith in their God and what they know he could and had already seen him do from Egypt to the red sea and all the nations that came against them, which none of them could stand against them and their God. A holy anger arose in him as he listened to his fellow country men. He had to stop them to avert the anger of God because faithlessness means looking down on God who had been with them. He declared that they had what it takes to conquer and possess the land the Lord had vowed to give unto them and their children for an inheritance. Today what is God telling you or what did he tell you about yourself before now? Do you believe God to fulfil his promises in your life or are looking at the size and intensity of the opposition? Remember that the blesings of the Lord comes in promises and only those who can believe and run with the promises of God can possess them. “Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.” Mark 9:23 KJV.

Prayer : Thank you Father God because you are a promise keeper. Forgive me Lord in anyway I doubted you in the past to delay what you want to do in my life. From today, I fix my eyes on you and thank you because with you, nothing good shall be impossible in my life in Jesus wonderful name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Memory Verse : John 10:10. A thief has only one thing in mind—he wants to steal, slaughter, and destroy. But I have come to give you everything in abundance, more than you expect—life in its fullness until you overflow!

Bible Reading : John 10:7-9 TPT. Key Verse: v9.

So Jesus went over it again, “I speak to you eternal truth: I am the Gate for the flock. All those who broke in before me are thieves who came to steal, but the sheep never listened to them. I am the Gateway. To enter through me is to experience life, freedom, and satisfaction.

God revealed himself to mankind to mankind through Jesus Christ with undeniable proofs. These proofs authenticates his message and confirms his divine nature. Throughout his earthly ministry, he kept on calling God his father. He taught us deep things about God which no religious man or leader had access to. “Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. If you really know me, you will know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him.” Philip said, “Lord, show us the Father and that will be enough for us.” Jesus answered: “Don’t you know me, Philip, even after I have been among you such a long time? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’?” John 14:6-9 NIV‬‬.

Jesus Christ is the life of God revealed to mankind. He came to prove to us that it is possible to live a restored life in the flesh by the help of his Spirit. Because he is the creator, he carries the life of God in him. This life of God he also makes available to his followers by his indwelling Spirit given to us. “Now Christ lives his life in you! And even though your body may be dead because of the effects of sin, his life-giving Spirit imparts life to you because you are fully accepted by God . Yes, God raised Jesus to life! And since God’s Spirit of Resurrection lives in you, he will also raise your dying body to life by the same Spirit that breathes life into you! So then, beloved ones, the flesh has no claims on us at all, and we have no further obligation to live in obedience to it.” Romans 8:10-12.

Today there is a release of life from God’s presence for as many as are hungry in their spirit. This life is powered by his Spirit to enable you live a meaningful and impactful life in line with God’s will for your life. There’s also restoration for every loss you have suffered in the hands of the enemy and his wicked forces. Jesus is here to fight those battles that you can’t fight for yourself. Remember always that he is the captain of our warfare that gave Joshua and the people of old victory over Jericho and their fortified walls without raising a finger in battle, just by listening to and obeying simple divine instructions. “And it came to pass on the seventh day, that they rose early about the dawning of the day, and compassed the city after the same manner seven times: only on that day they compassed the city seven times. And it came to pass at the seventh time, when the priests blew with the trumpets, Joshua said unto the people, Shout; for the LORD hath given you the city. So the people shouted when the priests blew with the trumpets: and it came to pass, when the people heard the sound of the trumpet, and the people shouted with a great shout, that the wall fell down flat, so that the people went up into the city, every man straight before him, and they took the city.” Joshua 6:15-16,20 KJV.

Prayer :Thank you Lord Jesus for being the good shepherd and captain of my warfare. From today, help me to be sensitive to to your voice. As I discern and obey your voice, I walk in perpetual victory all my days in Jesus wonderful name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Passing The Test

Topic : Passing The Test.

Memory Verse : Mark 11:6. They answered just as Jesus had told them: “The master needs it, and he will send it back to you soon.” So the bystanders let them go.

Bible Reading :Mark 11:1-3 TPT. Key Verse: v3.

Now, as they were approaching Jerusalem, they arrived at the place of the stables near Bethany on the Mount of Olives. Jesus sent5 two of his disciples ahead and said to them, “As soon as you enter the village ahead, you will find a donkey’s colt tethered there that has never been ridden. Untie it and bring it to me. And if anyone asks, ‘Why are you taking it?’ tell them, ‘The master needs it and will send it back to you soon.’”

In the days Jesus did his earthly ministry, animals were used for transportation as well as mechanised farming. They were the earliest means of carriage available just the way we use automobiles today. Now Jesus needed to enter Jerusalem in a kingly manner in preparation for the rounding up of his earthly assignment and sent his disciples to go and get this particular donkey that no man had ever sat on for him to use and return to the owner later. That was a type of brand new bike or car of today. When they were untying it, some people, probably the owners wanted to understand what was going on. As instructed, they told them that the master had need of it and will return same after usage, and they let them have their way.

Now there are many reading this that the Lord is placing certain demands on that are struggling with it. There are things in our hands the Lord needs. Some people the Lord wants them to give out something precious to them to bless other men or to elevate his work in some places. Instead of seeing such demand of the Spirit as opportunity or ladder to climb higher in life, they are holding on to what they have like children who don’t have understanding. Many people in the kingdom of God has failed the test for promotion in life that will enable them operate in higher blessings, because they loved what God gave them more than the Lord who gave them such things. ‭‭”Some time later God tested Abraham. He said to him, “Abraham!” “Here I am,” he replied. Then God said, “Take your son, your only son, whom you love—Isaac—and go to the region of Moriah. Sacrifice him there as a burnt offering on a mountain I will show you.” Genesis 22:1-2 NIV‬‬. After Abraham passed this test, he became whom he is today in reality.

There are others that the Lord is calling into the realms of higher kingdom responsibility. Some are being called into realms of higher kingdom service by becoming preachers and teachers, they need to become God’s voice in their lifetime. There are others the Lord wants to give special assignments and they are reluctant because they don’t have enough trust on the master to take care of them. It is easy to say that we love God and can die for him just like Peter and yet deny him when we feel threatened. I have also seen some ladies that say I can’t marry a man of God, yet they claim they love God. All these happen because men don’t trust God enough to take care of their needs. I keep telling people that if they think serving God is cumbersome, they should try Satan. Anything we give to Jesus, he always multiplies and returns back to us in multiple fold, including our lives and resources. God doesn’t joke with giving at any level because it’s a form of worship. “Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.” Luke 6:38 KJV.

Prayer :Thank you Father God because you own me and everything I have. Today, I surrender my life to you afresh. Whatever you have given me that you have need of in your kingdom, I surrender including my life. Use me and all I have to your glory. I won’t fail the test of my promotion in Jesus wonderful name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Be Incharge Through Prayer

Topic: Be Incharge Through Prayer.

Memory Verse :‭‭1 Timothy 2:8. Therefore I want the men everywhere to pray, lifting up holy hands without anger or disputing.

Bible Reading :‭1 Timothy 2:1-3 NIV‬. Key Verse :v1.

I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people—for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. This is good, and pleases God our Savior,

Prayer is a very important ministry that every believer must get involved in. Prayer is like breathing to a child of God. To stay alive every living soul must continue to breathe intentionally. To every man that wants to stay alive, breathing is compulsory and not optional. Anyone who stops praying as a child of God will lack what it takes for his blood which keeps him alive to keep circulating. As we keep breathing, our lungs keeps being supplied with oxygen with which the blood circulatory system of our body keeps functioning. “And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint; Saying, There was in a city a judge, which feared not God, neither regarded man: And there was a widow in that city; and she came unto him, saying, Avenge me of mine adversary. And he would not for a while: but afterward he said within himself, Though I fear not God, nor regard man; Yet because this widow troubleth me, I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me.” Luke 18:1-5 KJV.

In the place of prayer, we come to God who is our heavenly father, just the way children approach their earthly father, talk to him from a sincere heart. Not only that, in the place of prayer, God is always willing to pass instructions to us on issues of life especially when we are willing to listen to him. The beauty of it is that what we tell God in such our secret place that may appear very insignificant, determines what happens around us. What we discuss and agree with God in such unknown places, determines what happens in larger society, even in government circles. Through prayer, we are able to influence decisions in low and high places from our closet without moving an inch. “And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you. For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.
If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone? or if he ask a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent?” Luke 11:9-11 KJV.

Prayer doesn’t have a right time and place. We don’t stop breathing if we want to keep staying alive no matter where we find ourselves or circumstances sorrouding us. In like manner, there’s no convinient time or place for prayer. Men that pray wield the power of of God to make things happen. In the place of prayer, the body of Christ is able to exercise the power that authority Jesus delegated to us before he left the earth. ‭‭

“Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective. Elijah was a human being, even as we are. He prayed earnestly that it would not rain, and it did not rain on the land for three and a half years. Again he prayed, and the heavens gave rain, and the earth produced its crops.” James 5:16-18.

Prayer :Thank you Father God because you are a prayer answering God. Help me to live communicating with you all my days. Thank you for using me to make things happen in my lifetime through the place of prayer in Jesus wonderful name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Topic :He Has Given Us Everything.

Memory Verse : Romans 8:33. Who then would dare to accuse those whom God has chosen in love to be his? God himself is the judge who has issued his final verdict over them—“Not guilty!”

Bible Reading : Romans 8:31-32. Key Verse : v32.

So, what does all this mean? If God has determined to stand with us, tell me, who then could ever stand against us? For God has proved his love by giving us his greatest treasure, the gift of his Son. And since God freely offered him up as the sacrifice for us all, he certainly won’t withhold from us anything else he has to give.

The relationship which God keeps with his children stands on love. This love made him give us Jesus Christ, his one and only son. Jesus was the most precious possession in God’s custody. For the sake of men and our well being, he gave him up to die in order to redeem us. In giving to mankind, God doesn’t have any reservations because everything he does centers around man whom he loves. From the beginning of creation, everything God does centers around man. Everything God created from the beginning of the earth was put in place to provide sustainance and comfort for man, before he was finally formed from the dust of the earth and commanded to bear rule over every other creature on earth. ‭”Then God said, “I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food. And to all the beasts of the earth and all the birds in the sky and all the creatures that move along the ground—everything that has the breath of life in it—I give every green plant for food.” And it was so.” Genesis 1:29-30 NIV‬‬.

Another thing that God gave us that is worth mentioning in his Spirit. The holy Spirit working in us imparts us with divine nature. He works with our spiritman to help us flow in the realm of God. Because God himself is Spirit, no man can relate with him properly or get the best of him, except through the channel of the Spirit. By the help of his indwelling Spirit, we are able to walk in a manner that pleases him “The mature children of God are those who are moved by the impulses of the Holy Spirit. And you did not receive the “spirit of religious duty,” leading you back into the fear of never being good enough. But you have received the “Spirit of full acceptance,” enfolding you into the family of God. And you will never feel orphaned, for as he rises up within us, our spirits join him in saying the words of tender affection, “Beloved Father!” For the Holy Spirit makes God’s fatherhood real to us as he whispers into our innermost being, “You are God’s beloved child!” Romans 8:14-16.

As his children and heirs, we now have unrestricted access to all that makes God thick by inheritance. That is the reason the word stated that everything that has to do with this life and Godliness has been given to us already. All we need is to discover those things given, by the help of his Spirit in order to deploy them to use for our benefit. ‭”I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better. I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people, and his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is the same as the mighty strength. ” Ephesians 1:17-19 NIV‬‬.

Prayer :Thank you Father God for giving me your all. Thank you because of Jesus who made all this possible. Thank you for your Spirit working in me, helping me to live for you. Thank you because of every inheritance I received from you as your child and heir. Help me to to deploy all this resources to profitable use all my days in Jesus wonderful name….. Amen 🙏🏿.

Bible Reading :‭Ephesians 3:14-16 NIV‬. Key Verse: v14.

For this reason I kneel before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name. I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being,

Giving your life to Jesus is one of the best things that can happen to anyone on earth. This singular decision settles the issue of sin which is the root of all problems of man on earth which Jesus Christ came to deal with. By his shed blood, the price for sin was fully paid forever on the cross where he died on our behalf. As we embrace the work of the cross as done by Jesus himself, we get restored to the place of fellowship with God our creator. “I thank my God always on your behalf, for the grace of God which is given you by Jesus Christ; That in every thing ye are enriched by him, in all utterance, and in all knowledge; Even as the testimony of Christ was confirmed in you: So that ye come behind in no gift; waiting for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall also confirm you unto the end, that ye may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.” 1 Corinthians 1:4-9 KJV.

The restoration that happens to our Spirit man at the point of salvation helps us carry the inbuilt nature of God which is love. Not only that, his power and strength is made available to us through the Holy Spirit who takes charge of our lives. As members of his divine family, we bear his name in the spirit which Apostle Paul referred to in Galatians 6:17 as “marks of the Lord Jesus”. A mark is a form of identity or name. As members of God’s family comprising saints on earth and in glory, we have unfettered access to the father, we can always approach him freely as his children whenever we have need. As members of this divine family, we also enjoy certain unique rights and privileges to the extent that whatever that makes God whom he is, is made available to us to take advantage of, as to have an earthly life that is worthwhile and impacful. These things are deep, so Paul had to pray that we should have understanding of what we have received in Christ Jesus through revelation by the help of his Spirit who always searches the mind of God in order to reveal same to us, so that we can function in his purpose.

I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God. ‭‭Ephesians 3:16-19. There’s something I want to point out here in conclusion. That is the fact that Christ dwells richly in us in two ways. The first one is by his word that we are able to absorb in our spirit man. The second way he dwells richly in us is by his indwelling Spirit. This means that the more we take in his word into our spirit man daily, the more we make room for him to take charge of our lives and operate in us. Also, the more we engage in exercises that builds up our spirit man, the more we develop capacity to be useful in his hands, as to live a life of impact.

Prayer :Thank you Father God for your grace that brought me this far in you. I pray today that you open the eyes of my spirit to understand what you have done for me in Christ Jesus. Help me to take advantage of grace as to live a life of impact on earth in Jesus wonderful name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Memory Verse :‭‭2 Samuel 9:7. “Don’t be afraid,” David said to him, “for I will surely show you kindness for the sake of your father Jonathan. I will restore to you all the land that belonged to your grandfather Saul, and you will always eat at my table.”

Bible Reading : ‭2 Samuel 9:1-3 NIV‬. Key Verse : v3.

David asked, “Is there anyone still left of the house of Saul to whom I can show kindness for Jonathan’s sake?” Now there was a servant of Saul’s household named Ziba. They summoned him to appear before David, and the king said to him, “Are you Ziba?” “At your service,” he replied. The king asked, “Is there no one still alive from the house of Saul to whom I can show God’s kindness?” Ziba answered the king, “There is still a son of Jonathan; he is lame in both feet.”

There are some things about king David that endeared him to the heart of God. He had a very good appreciative heart. Without the help of someone like Jonathan, it would have been difficult for him to be alive to ascend the throne in Israel. King saul was out to stop him from getting to the throne because he saw him as a threat to his son Jonathan becoming king over Israel.‭‭ “After David had finished talking with Saul, Jonathan became one in spirit with David, and he loved him as himself. From that day Saul kept David with him and did not let him return home to his family. And Jonathan made a covenant with David because he loved him as himself. “1 Samuel 18:1-3 KJV.

Jonathan was kind to David. He helped him to escape death in the hands of his father saul not minding how it will affect his father’s desire for him to ascend the throne in his stead in Israel. ‭”Saul told his son Jonathan and all the attendants to kill David. But Jonathan had taken a great liking to David and warned him, “My father Saul is looking for a chance to kill you. Be on your guard tomorrow morning; go into hiding and stay there. I will go out and stand with my father in the field where you are. I’ll speak to him about you and will tell you what I find out.”
1 Samuel 19:1-3.

After the death of king Saul and his son Jonathan, David became king in Israel. When David ascended the throne, he remembered the love and kindness of his late bossom friend Jonathan and wanted to show gratitude by taking care of anyone alive in the house of Saul for Jonathan’s sake. Today we have to learn to be kind to people we meet when we are at vantage position because the tide can always change with time. David rising to the throne in Israel was a divine agenda that nothing would have been able to stop. If Jonathan had refused to be used, God would have raised help for David from another source. The good deeds of Jonathan was a seed that his son Mephiboshet had to reap in due season. ‭‭“Don’t be afraid,” David said to him, “for I will surely show you kindness for the sake of your father Jonathan. I will restore to you all the land that belonged to your grandfather Saul, and you will always eat at my table.” Mephibosheth bowed down and said, “What is your servant, that you should notice a dead dog like me?” Then the king summoned Ziba, Saul’s steward, and said to him, “I have given your master’s grandson everything that belonged to Saul and his family.” 2 Samuel 9:7-9.

Faithfulness

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Topic : Faithfulness.

Memory Verse : Luke 19:17. And he said unto him, Well, thou good servant: because thou hast been faithful in a very little, have thou authority over ten cities. KJV.

Bible Reading :Hebrews 3:2-4 TPT. Key Verse: v2.

For he was faithful to the Father who appointed him, in the same way that Moses was a model of faithfulness in what was entrusted to him. But Jesus is worthy to receive a much greater glory than Moses, for the one who builds a house deserves to be honored more than the house he builds. Every house is built by someone, but God is the Designer and Builder of all things

Our calling as believers was extended to us in trust from the father through the son Jesus Christ. This means that in our generation as in every other, God depends on us as his people to move his kingdom forward or make things work. We as believers should therefore see ourselves as men on whose shoulders the burden of kingdom affairs rest in our lifetime. Men always shape and reshape history anywhere in the world. We can’t therefore afford to fail God in whatever capacity he placed us to serve in his kingdom. For us to succeed, we have to look upto Jesus as our perfect example. “And so, dear brothers and sisters, you are now made holy, and each of you is invited to the feast of your heavenly calling. So fasten your thoughts fully onto Jesus, whom we embrace as our Apostle and King-Priest. For he was faithful to the Father who appointed him, in the same way that Moses was a model of faithfulness in what was entrusted to him.” Hebrews 3:1-2.

Faithfulness is a very important kingdom key that unlocks greatness. Jesus Christ and even Moses was able to fulfil God’s purpose for their lives because of their resolve to be faithful in carrying out divine assignment. In the case of Jesus Christ, he stood all through his earthly journey to fulfil the will of his father instead of his personal pleasure or comfort. At Gethsemane, the burden of going to cross was so real that he Jesus was tempted to back out, but the desire to stay faithful kept him in God’s will, Mathew 26:36-39. Coming to Moses, it was all about the people of Israel and not himself. At the point where God in his anger wanted to wipe away the entire people in the wilderness and make a new people out of himself, he refused to jump at it. Rather, he prefered to be blotted out of God’s book and plan instead of the entire Israel that provoked God to wrath. Deuteronomy 9:13-19.

Today, we need to learn that faithfulness in whatever God committed into our care is not only key to greatness, but also a very important factor that will help us enter his rest in whatever we are doing for God. Faithfulness is always a product of personal resolve. It involves consistency even when things seem not to be able to work. One factor that helps a man stay faithful even in unfavorable circumstances is faith. This type of faith is always a product of our ability to see into the future or hear the invisible. If the picture of tomorrow God is painting to you is what gives you extra strength to prevail over negativities that are intended to discourage you from holding on till victory. “Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.” Hebrews 12:1-2 KJV.

Prayer :Thank you Father God for giving me Jesus who was faithful in everything. Like Jesus and Moses, plant your love and faith in me. Help me to be faithful in every of my kingdom services so that I can enter your rest in Jesus wonderful name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Topic : Your Faith Is Key.

Memory Verse :‭‭Mark 9:23. “ ‘If you can’?” said Jesus. “Everything is possible for one who believes.”

Bible Reading :‭Mark 9:24-26 NIV‬. Key Verse: v24.

Immediately the boy’s father exclaimed, “I do believe; help me overcome my unbelief!” When Jesus saw that a crowd was running to the scene, he rebuked the impure spirit. “You deaf and mute spirit,” he said, “I command you, come out of him and never enter him again.” The spirit shrieked, convulsed him violently and came out. The boy looked so much like a corpse that many said, “He’s dead.”

Jesus was just coming down from the place of prayer where he encountered Elijah and Moses with few of his disciples, when he met his disciples whom he left behind in what looked like an argument with some people. He tried to find out what was going on, when a man approached him from among the people there explaining that he brought his son possessed by evil spirit to his disciples who was not able to cast out the epileptic spirit that made him deaf and dumb. “What are you arguing with them about?” he asked. A man in the crowd answered, “Teacher, I brought you my son, who is possessed by a spirit that has robbed him of speech. Whenever it seizes him, it throws him to the ground. He foams at the mouth, gnashes his teeth and becomes rigid. I asked your disciples to drive out the spirit, but they could not.” Mark 9:16-18.

“You unbelieving generation,” Jesus replied, “how long shall I stay with you? How long shall I put up with you? Bring the boy to me.” So they brought him. When the spirit saw Jesus, it immediately threw the boy into a convulsion. He fell to the ground and rolled around, foaming at the mouth. Jesus asked the boy’s father, “How long has he been like this?” “From childhood,” he answered. “It has often thrown him into fire or water to kill him. But if you can do anything, take pity on us and help us.” ‭‭Mark 9:19-22. At this point, Jesus who was willing to help them made the father of the young man understand that anything he wanted from God at that point in time was possible, only if he can believe from the depths of his heart.

What Jesus told the father of the young man that had complications in his life and development due to the activities of evil spirits working to destroy his life, he is telling us today. Many people allow the enemy deny them divine intervention when they magnify the problem they are going through to think that it will be difficult for God to resolve. The man had some level of faith that made him come to Jesus and his disciples in the firsr place, but was still harbouring some fears and doubts because of what he had seen in the hands of the enemy. But he was plain enough to ask the master to help his weak faith with his overiding grace and mercy. Today, remember that whatever looked difficult or even impossible with men is possible with God. The God we serve has capacity to do all things. What he demands from us is absolute trust or faith. The woman with the issue of blood is a good example of one whose faith was resolute. Before she left her house for that special encounter with the master, she made up her mind to take her healing just by touching the helm of his garment. God had no choice but to honour her faith. ‭”He said to her, “Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace and be freed from your suffering.”

Mark 5:34.

Prayer : Thank you Father God because you are bigger than every challenges I am facing in…… (mention the area). Today I recognise and believe that you can do all things. I lay down this challenge…. (mention it) before you. I take my victory today by faith over…..(mention it) in Jesus mighty name…. Amen 🙏🏿.
