War With Your Testimonies.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Topic : War With Your Testimonies.

Memory Verse:‭ John 4:29. “Come, see a man who told me everything I ever did. Could this be the Messiah?”

Bible Reading :‭John 4:25-27 NIV‬. Key Verse : v26.

The woman said, “I know that Messiah” (called Christ) “is coming. When he comes, he will explain everything to us.” Then Jesus declared, “I, the one speaking to you—I am he.” Just then his disciples returned and were surprised to find him talking with a woman. But no one asked, “What do you want?” or “Why are you talking with her?”

At this point in time, this particular Samaritan woman came to fetch water from this very well of Jacob where Jesus was resting, while he waited for his disciples who went into town to get some food because themselves including the master was tired and hungry. Jesus needed to minister to this woman. So he opened up conversation with her by asking her for drinking water which the woman refused to give him because he was a Jew and herself a Samaritan.
“(His disciples had gone into the town to buy food.) The Samaritan woman said to him, “You are a Jew and I am a Samaritan woman. How can you ask me for a drink?” (For Jews do not associate with Samaritans.) Jesus answered her, “If you knew the gift of God and who it is that asks you for a drink, you would have asked him and he would have given you living water.”
John 4:8-10.

At the point in their conversation, Jesus began to let her know that if she had known whom she was speaking with, she would have asked him to give her an everlasting water that will satisfy her spirit forever (the Holy Spirit). The woman couldn’t understand him because he had nothing to use and fetch from the well to give to anyone. When Jesus saw her curiosity, he then told her to go and call her husband. The woman thinking that Jesus was developing interest in her lied that she had no man in her life. Jesus then saw the right opportunity to shock her with the story of her life, which should be a secret. That was when her eyes opened to understand that the man she was speaking with wasn’t ordinary. ‭”He told her, “Go, call your husband and come back.” “I have no husband,” she replied. Jesus said to her, “You are right when you say you have no husband. The fact is, you have had five husbands, and the man you now have is not your husband. What you have just said is quite true.” “Sir,” the woman said, “I can see that you are a prophet.” John 4:16-19.

One lesson I want us to pick from the encounter this Samaritan woman had with Jesus is that immediately she realised whom Jesus was, she abandoned everything and went back to town to tell others to come and see the Messiah who downloaded her life history to her at first meeting. Today many of us have testimonies of mighty acts of God in our lives that can bring men to Jesus that we are sitting on. Every testimony of the goodness of God, his mighty acts, deliverance and even salvation of our souls are tools for evangelism in our hands. Many excuse themselves from getting involved in soul winning, saying they can’t preach. But the truth is that there’s no one that can’t share a testimony. Today and always, make sure you share with someone around you testimonies of what Jesus did in your life. Testimonies are one of the weapons of warfare the Lord has given us to use and overcome the enemy at any point in time. Testimonies breeds faith. Without faith faith no man can receive anything from God including salvation. The testimony of what God did with David in the lonely wilderness was all he needed to overcome an overrated giant like Goliath that he was no match for physically.

Prayer :Thank you Father God for every testimony of your goodness, salvation and mighty works in my life. Teach to war with my testimonies anytime I have need. Help me to use these testimonies of your goodness in my life to draw men to you always. Thank you for making me a soul winner in Jesus wonderful name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Commitment And Discipline.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Friday May 17th, 2024.

Topic : Commitment And Discipline.

Memory Verse : 2 Timothy 2:6. The farmer who labors to produce a crop should be the first one to be fed from its harvest.

Bible Reading :2 Timothy 2:3-5 TPT. Key Verse: v4.

Overcome every form of evil as a victorious soldier of Jesus the Anointed One. For every soldier called to active duty must divorce himself from the distractions of this world so that he may fully satisfy the one who chose him. An athlete who doesn’t play by the rules will never receive the trophy, so remain faithful to God!

The day we decided to follow Jesus, we decided to be part of his kingdom and army on earth. And because we are spirits, we belong to a spiritual kingdom. As spiritual soldiers, we engage in spiritual warfare. The primary battle is always within or in our minds. The flesh is always fighting to take control of our entire being. While our spirit man also fights back in order to rule the man. If the ambitions of the flesh is not checked on time, it can destroy a man’s spiritual life which is very dangerous. ‭”So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. For the flesh desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the flesh. They are in conflict with each other, so that you are not to do whatever you want.” Galatians 5:16-17 NIV‬.

Living by the Spirit of God in order to take charge of our lives is a personal decision that men who knows the value take in life and on time too. Just like the athlete, our spiritual walk with God demands discipline. The athlete disciplines himself in many areas of his life intentionally in order to be fit as a champion who can win competitions. Sometimes such discipline touches the things he eats, rigorous exercises he/she gets involved in that can help such individuals be at their best and competiton ready all the time, etc. “Be quick to abstain from senseless traditions and legends, but instead be engaged in the training of truth that brings righteousness. For athletic training only benefits you for a short season, but righteousness brings lasting benefit in everything; for righteousness contains the promise of life, for time and eternity. Faithful is the Word, and everyone should accept him!” 1 Timothy 4:7-9.

On a very important note, we need to understand that we are responsible for how far we can go with God in all this. We will always do well if we are determined to please Jesus in all this who counted us worthy to be enlisted in his team. Just like the farmer, we can only harvest whatever we sow at the end. Our being resourceful and impactful in the kingdom will be determined largely by our personal resolve and commitment to give it our best shot with our eyes fixed on the price (trophy) just like the athlete. We have to desire to become men God can build on in our lifetime. “In a palace you find many kinds of containers and tableware for many different uses. Some are beautifully inlaid with gold or silver, but some are made of wood or earthenware; some of them are used for banquets and special occasions, and some for everyday use. But you, Timothy, must not see your life and ministry this way. Your life and ministry must not be disgraced, for you are to be a pure container of Christ and dedicated to the honorable purposes of your Master, prepared for every good work that he gives you to do.” 2 Timothy 2:20-21.

Prayer : Thank you Father God for choosing me to be part your move on earth in my generation. Help me to be committed to your course and to walk in personal discipline just like a worthy soldier or athlete. Let my life be such you can depend on to impact my world in Jesus wonderful name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Fight To Keep Your Victory

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Thursday May 16th, 2024.

Topic: Fight To Keep Your Victory.

Memory Verse:Ephesians 6:10. Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.

Bible Reading :Ephesians 6:11-13. Key Verse’ v13.

Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

When we discuss spiritual warfare, if we are not careful, it may sound so abstract and distant because we lack understanding. Devil will be glad to see us see it as something that doesn’t concern us in a serious manner. To that extent we may feel less concerned and miss iit. Now, I want us to know that it’s about concerted efforts the enemy of our souls puts up daily to make sure we don’t function maximally or at full capacity in our commitment and dedication to the things of the kingdom for which we have been called. “And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible. I therefore so run, not as uncertainly; so fight I, not as one that beateth the air: But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.” 1 Corinthians 9:25-27.

Now the Bible knows how important this battle is, that the Spirit counselled that we should put on the whole of God in order to stay safe and preserved in the evil day. This is because the enemy is desperate. Therefore he is always looking for a loophole in our lives that he can take advantage of to strike. We have to practically live in God’s presence because only him has what it takes to protect and preserve us when we are dealing with the evil one. In the things of God, when we do what is expected of us before God, himself will do what we can’t do for ourselves. We need to understand that there are men who live and walk among us who represent the kingdom of darkness, even as ourselves represent the kingdom of light. They have their hierarchy and placements and are organised for the singular reason to stop the careless from reaching their destination.

“Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.” 1 Peter 5:8-9. We have to be awake in the spirit, knowing there’s an enemy always lurking around. We have to fight him with every resources heaven made available to us till he submits to our rule and that of our Christ. Now we must also have the understanding that we are always fighting from the point of victory. Our victory was established on the cross where Jesus bled and died. What we now do is to enforce what we already have which the enemy tries to tamper with when given the opportunity, as one who really steals, kills and destroys. “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.” John 10:10-11.

Prayer :Thank you Lord Jesus for what you have done for me by your death and resurrection. Help me to live in the consciousness of the victory you got on my behalf all my days. Let me always be awake in the spirit to ward off every incursions of the wicked on my territory, in Jesus wonderful name.. Amen 🙏🏿.

Be Focused

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Wednesday May 15th, 2024.

Topic : Be Focused.

Memory Verse:Hebrews 10:36. For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.

Bible Reading :Hebrews 10:34-35,37 KJV. Key Verse : v35.

For ye had compassion of me in my bonds, and took joyfully the spoiling of your goods, knowing in yourselves that ye have in heaven a better and an enduring substance.

Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward. For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry.

God desires to do grear and wonderful things in the lives of those who love and serve him. Everything he does goes through his own personal due process. Men who desires to get the best of him need to understand his mode of operation as to key into it till they have the results or proofs to show. In the first place, we need to understand that our walk with God must cost us something before we can make any meaningful gains. The cost varies from individuals. To some, it can be some relationship that doesn’t glorify God they must do away with. To another person it may be persecution sometimes from even close and loved ones who feel uncomfortable with our stand with Christ Jesus, all kinds of losses, mockery of men, etc. The enemy does all these looking for a way to weaken our resolve to follow Jesus unconditionally. “May the thought of this cause you to jump for joy, even though lately you’ve had to put up with the grief of many trials. But these only reveal the sterling core of your faith, which is far more valuable than gold that perishes, for even gold is refined by fire. Your authentic faith will result in even more praise, glory, and honor when Jesus the Anointed One is revealed.” 1 Peter 1:6-7 TPT.

One factor that will help anyone stand strong when our faith in Christ is being tried is to focus of the reward or crown just like the master himself and our early father’s in the faith. Our text rightly said that one reason we must not give up in the face of trials is because there’s always a recompense (compensation) for every price you pay in him and also a reward for every work done in his name and to his glory. Some of these we receive here on earth while the most important and greater part is reserved for eternity. “But Israel shall be saved in the LORD with an everlasting salvation: ye shall not be ashamed nor confounded world without end. For thus saith the LORD that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I am the LORD; and there is none else. I have not spoken in secret, in a dark place of the earth: I said not unto the seed of Jacob, Seek ye me in vain: I the LORD speak righteousness, I declare things that are right.” Isaiah 45:17-19.

One important key that will always be useful to get us to our destination in him is patience. Note the fact that after we have done God’s will or what the Lord commanded or expects of us, we still need to wait patiently for our expected compensation which most time happens here on earth and reward which we receive mainly after our earthly walk him is over and we return to be with him forever. Reward is that we receive at the end as a result of our good works on earth, done to the glory of his name. “And the four and twenty elders, which sat before God on their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshipped God, Saying, We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come; because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned. And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.”

Revelation 11:16-18.

Prayer :Thank you Father God because you have not called me to seek and serve you in vain. Today and always, help me to stay focused on the price of the high calling. Help me to overcome in every trials that comes my way. I must finish strong in Jesus wonderful name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Keep Growing

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Tuesday May 14th, 2024.

Topic : Keep Growing.

Memory Verse:‭ 2 Thessalonians 1:12. We pray this so that the name of our Lord Jesus may be glorified in you, and you in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Bible Reading : ‭2 Thessalonians 1:3-5 NIV‬. Key Verse : v3.

We ought always to thank God for you, brothers and sisters, and rightly so, because your faith is growing more and more, and the love all of you have for one another is increasing. Therefore, among God’s churches we boast about your perseverance and faith in all the persecutions and trials you are enduring. All this is evidence that God’s judgment is right, and as a result you will be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which you are suffering.

The beauty of the born again experience is that we keep experiencing growth daily. In the natural world, every born child grows. Growth is one of the evidence of life anywhere it is found. Everything that God created that has life in them must grow. When anything that has life stops growing, it can be a sign that they are sick or even dead. Growth is one of the proofs that a living being is sound. ” In the same way that nursing infants cry for milk, you must intensely crave the pure spiritual milk of God’s Word. For this “milk” will cause you to grow into maturity, fully nourished and strong for life— especially now that you have had a taste of the goodness of the Lord Jehovah and have experienced his kindness . So keep coming to him who is the Living Stone—though he was rejected and discarded by men but chosen by God and is priceless in God’s sight.” 1 Peter 2:2-4 TPT.

One of the ways we manifest growth is by demonstration of our love for God and the brethren. Love is revealed by care. The early church demonstrated a perfect example of love which we need to follow. ‭”that there were no needy persons among them. For from time to time those who owned land or houses sold them, brought the money from the sales and put it at the apostles’ feet, and it was distributed to anyone who had need. Joseph, a Levite from Cyprus, whom the apostles called Barnabas (which means “son of encouragement”), ” Acts 4:34-36. One of the secrets of the explosion in membership of the early church under the care of Peter and other Apostles witnessed was the love they shared among themselves as to care for the needs of their fellow brethren, to the extent that those who had nothing among them didn’t feel it anymore. Those who had more than enough took care of things by even selling their properties to invest in the kingdom work. The Apostles could then face prayers and the preaching and teaching of the word squarely.

Another evidence of growth in a believer here is the ability to endure and overcome trials of faith. We have to always bear in mind that faith is tried. Trials are tests that we must pass to be promoted to the next phase of our walk with God. It takes maturity, commitment and the help of the Spirit for us to triumph always when we are tested. When we overcome, we qualify for higher blessings and responsibilities in the kingdom. ‭”The angel of the Lord called to Abraham from heaven a second time and said, “I swear by myself, declares the Lord, that because you have done this and have not withheld your son, your only son, I will surely bless you and make your descendants as numerous as the stars in the sky and as the sand on the seashore. Your descendants will take possession of the cities of their enemies, and through your offspring all nations on earth will be blessed, because you have obeyed me.” Genesis 22:15-18.

Prayer :Thank you Father God for it is your will that I keep growing in your presence. Help me to respond to growth daily in my walk with you. When an tested, help me to always pass your test for higher blessings and kingdom responsibilities in Jesus wonderful name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Our Ever Present Help.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Monday May 13th, 2024.

Topic : Our Ever Present Help.

Memory Verse: Acts 27:25. So men, keep up your courage! I know that God will protect you, just as he told me he would.

Bible Reading :Acts 27:22-24 TPT. Key Verse : v23.

Now listen to me. Don’t be depressed, for no one will perish—only the ship will be lost. For God’s angel visited me last night, the angel of my God, the God I passionately serve. He came and stood in front of me and said, ‘Don’t be afraid, Paul. You are destined to stand trial before Caesar. And because of God’s favor on you, he has given you the lives of everyone who is sailing with you.’

Apostle Paul was on his way to Rome in defense of the gospel, having been arrested in Jerusalem and tried and found not worthy of death as enemies of the gospel desired from the authorities. When he was brought before Festus who heard him alongside king Agrippa and Bernice, they found out that it was just some religious arguments and that he didn’t commit any offense that should make him die as was being demanded by his accusers. They would have set him free, but couldn’t because he had earlier appealed to Ceaser on the judgment seat of Festus. Now the journey to Rome by sea was turbulent that season and Paul by the Spirit had sensed great danger ahead and warned that the journey be delayed. But the people in charge was more interested in what professionals in the field had to say than an ordinary prisoner. The sailed into murky waters therefore and almost perished with the entire people on board.

“Men, I can see that our voyage would be disastrous for us and bring great loss, not only to our ship and cargo but also to our own lives. We should remain here.” But the officer in charge was persuaded more by the ship’s helmsman and captain than he was by Paul. So the majority decided to put out to sea, since Fair Haven was an exposed harbor and not suitable to winter in. They had hoped to somehow reach the Cretan port of Phineka, which was a more suitable port because it was facing south.” Acts 27:10-12. Their voyage became terrible and to the point that their lives were threatened on sea. In the midst of trouble and confusion of both crew and members, Apostle Paul began to seek the face of God whom he served. He prevailed with God to saving of many souls who were on board with him, though they lost their goods and valuables. “Some sailors pretended to go down to drop anchors from the bow when in fact they wanted to lower the lifeboat into the sea and escape, abandoning ship. Paul said to the Roman officer and his soldiers, “Unless you all stay together onboard the ship, you have no chance of surviving.” Acts 27:30-31.

Today we have to learn the power of a working relationship with God through this incident. At the time when nothing else could work, Apostle Paul had to fall back on the God whom he belonged to and served with every part of his being. Understand today that your service to and relationship with God is a very great asset or investment you can always withdrawn from or leverage on in times of need. Again understand that God’s presence you carry secures you anywhere you find yourself including people around you for your sake. Therefore in times of trouble or danger, when others are panicking, learn to talk the God whom you belong to like Apostle Paul. The Lord holds the key to your triumph in every situation you find yourself, what you are seeing notwithstanding. “Thus saith the LORD the maker thereof, the LORD that formed it, to establish it; the LORD is his name; Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.” Jeremiah 33:2-3 KJV.

Prayer : Thank you Father God because you can never disappoint. Thank you because my service to you and relationship with you secures me and my loved ones. In the midst of trouble, you will always be my peace. Thank you for being my ever present help in times of trouble in Jesus wonderful name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Take Full Advantage Of Jesus.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Sunday May 12th, 2024.

Topic :Take Full Advantage Of Jesus.

Memory Verse: Isaiah 11:5. And righteousness shall be the girdle of his loins, and faithfulness the girdle of his reins.

Bible Reading :Isaiah 11:1-3 KJV. Key Verse : v2.

And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots: And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD; And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the LORD: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears:

Isaiah is one of the Prophets in the old testament that prophesied deeply about Jesus Christ, who is the branch that grew from the roots of Jesse to bear rule. His assignment was unique and specific. The Spirit of God at work in him without measure was the secret behind his unique earthly ministry whose impact and results the entire universe can never recover from till eternity. The rod here is for teaching and correction. He came and taught us about life and God and how we can relate fruitfully with God our creator and father. “All things are delivered unto me of my Father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal him. Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.” Matthew 11:27-30.

We have to take advantage of what God has done for us in him to the fullest as to have a rewarding life here on earth by the help of his Spirit given to us to live by. The wisdom of God that comes from understanding works in us when we recognise him as saviour and live to follow his footsteps in life. When we listen to him for direction in life we, we walk in the higher pedestals of life and operate beyond the strength and ability of ordinary men. Through his wise counsel we become mighty men because no other counsel can prevail against him. “For he spake, and it was done; he commanded, and it stood fast. The LORD bringeth the counsel of the heathen to nought: he maketh the devices of the people of none effect. The counsel of the LORD standeth for ever, the thoughts of his heart to all generations . Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance.” Psalms 33:9-12.

We have to live our lives to reverence him as a loving and caring father who watches over us and our affairs daily. This fear is not of terror, but that of giving him due respect as our creator and saviour. This fear or respect of a father is grounded in love and works in us to obey him willingly and joyfully, knowing how much investments he made to get us where we are in him. As our saviour, his judgement is always in our favour because he died in our place to pay for our sins and rose from the dead for our justification. Today we are seated together with him in the place of authority and rulership. “Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.” Ephesians 2:5-7.

Prayer :Thank you Father God for giving me Jesus. Thank you Lord Jesus for your commitment to giving me a good life. Help me to to take advantage of all you have made available to me by your Spirit to have a good and rewarding earthly life in Jesus wonderful name….. Amen 🙏🏿.

Peace In Him.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Saturday May 11th, 2024.

Topic: Peace In Him.

Memory Verse : Colossians 3:14. And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness.

Bible Reading : Colossians 3:15-17 KJV. Key Verse: v25

And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.

One important thing Jesus gave his followers that you can’t get anywhere else is peace. This kind of peace is not found on the surface, rather it springs like a well from our innermost being it is rooted in understanding of whom we are before our creator and saviour, as a result of the flourishing relationship that we have with him. This relationship therefore guarantees us his abiding presence which makes the difference in our individual lives. His presence therefore secures us and all that belongs to us, even in the midst of unfavourable circumstances. Apostle Paul knew something about it… “Now listen to me. Don’t be depressed, for no one will perish—only the ship will be lost. For God’s angel visited me last night, the angel of my God, the God I passionately serve. He came and stood in front of me and said, ‘Don’t be afraid, Paul. You are destined to stand trial before Caesar. And because of God’s favor on you, he has given you the lives of everyone who is sailing with you.’ Act 27:22-24 TPT.

One factor that will make this peace functional and effective is that we walk in obedience to his command to love others just the way himself loved us and gave himself for us. Love covers a multitude of sins and makes room for forgiveness when we get offended. “There’s no need for anyone to say much to you about loving your fellow believers, for God is continually teaching you to unselfishly love one another. Indeed, your love is what you’re known for throughout Macedonia. We urge you, beloved ones, to let this unselfish love increase and flow through you more and more. Aspire to lead a calm and peaceful life as you mind your own business and earn your living, just as we’ve taught you. By doing this you will live an honorable life, influencing others and commanding respect of even the unbelievers. Then you’ll be in need of nothing and not dependent upon others.” 1 Thessalonians 4:9-12 TPT.

Finally, we have to allow the word of God to rule our hearts. This can only be possible when we make ourselves students of the word intentionally. At the point when we become filled with the word, there will always be an overflow or spill ovet to touch or impact the lives of others around us by the help of the Spirit of God at work in us. “Let the word of Christ live in you richly, flooding you with all wisdom. Apply the Scriptures as you teach and instruct one another with the Psalms, and with festive praises, and with prophetic songs given to you spontaneously by the Spirit, so sing to God with all your hearts! Let every activity of your lives and every word that comes from your lips be drenched with the beauty of our Lord Jesus, the Anointed One. And bring your constant praise to God the Father because of what Christ has done for you!” Colossians 3:16-17 TPT.

Prayer :Thank you Lord Jesus because you saved me and gave me your peace to use. Thank you because your love is shed abroad in my heart by your Spirit. Let your word dwell in me richly till my life becomes a blessing to many in Jesus precious name… Amen 🙏🏿.

Memory Verse :‭1 Corinthians 1:21. For since in the wisdom of God the world through its wisdom did not know him, God was pleased through the foolishness of what was preached to save those who believe.

Bible Reading : ‭Isaiah 55:1-3 NIV‬. Key Verae: v1.

“Come, all you who are thirsty, come to the waters; and you who have no money, come, buy and eat! Come, buy wine and milk without money and without cost. Why spend money on what is not bread, and your labor on what does not satisfy? Listen, listen to me, and eat what is good, and you will delight in the richest of fare. Give ear and come to me; listen, that you may live. I will make an everlasting covenant with you, my faithful love promised to David.

Jesus Christ is the solution that every troubled soul needs. In the commercial world, he is like that one and only supermarket that carries everything you are looking for. When you are able to locate it, it affords you a one stop shopping experience. In like manner, it pleased God to deposit everything a man should need in life in his son. That is the reason no man following him gets stranded in life. As need arises, you will discover that such needs has already been provided for in him. ‭”in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins. The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him. He is before all things, and in him all things hold together.” Colossians 1:14-17.

Some people today are confused because they rejected and neglected Jesus all their lives and are trying to help themselves in their own ways. Most of such people end up ruining their lives by selling their souls to the devil for one thing or another. Some has gone astray looking for money, riches, wealth, fame and all the glamours of this life. Even when they get these things, they suddenly wake up to the reality that this life is a very short experience, they don’t have the time to enjoy them the way they desired. The worst part of it is that they lack the peace thar comes from living in God’s presence. “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid . “You heard me say, ‘I am going away and I am coming back to you.’ If you loved me, you would be glad that I am going to the Father, for the Father is greater than I. I have told you now before it happens, so that when it does happen you will believe.” John 14:27-29.

Everything we need to succeed in life and after here are loaded in Christ Jesus. When we believe in him and receive him into our lives, a door opens for us in the realm of the spirit for us to access avery kingdom blessings that he carries whose list are endless. We don’t have to stop there, but should keep making concerted efforts to grow by developing a hunger and thirst for his presence and word. In his word we are able to access the revelation of his wisdom and promises which gives us stability in him. By his Spirit given to us, we are able to understand his plan and purpose so that we can walk with him to have a most rewarding and blessed life on earth and after here.‭

“Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again.”“How can someone be born when they are old?” Nicodemus asked. “Surely they cannot enter a second time into their mother’s womb to be born!” Jesus answered, “Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit.” John 3:3-5.

Prayer : Thank you Father God for packaging everything I need to succeed in this life in your son. As I walk with Jesus daily, open my understanding to all you have in stock for me in Jesus my saviour. Thank you for making my earthly sojourn worthwhile and most rewarding in Jesus precious name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Faith In God.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Thursday May 9th, 2024.

Topic: Faith In God.

Memory Verse : Mark 11:24. This is the reason I urge you to boldly believe for whatever you ask for in prayer—believe that you have received it and it will be yours.

Bible Reading :Mark 11:21-23 TPT. Key Verse : v22.

Peter remembered and said to him, “Teacher, look! That’s the fig tree you cursed. It’s now all shriveled up and dead.” Jesus replied, “Let the faith of God be in you! Listen to the truth I speak to you: If someone says to this mountain with great faith and having no doubt, ‘Mountain, be lifted up and thrown into the midst of the sea,’ and believes that what he says will happen, it will be done.

The Bible recorded that Jesus and his dosciples was leaving Bethany possibly after a hectic day, the previous day when they saw a very healthy looking fig tree. Because he was hungry, he desired some fruits from the tree to take care of himself. But on getting close, he found no fruits on this particular tree. He then cursed the tree and they continued their journey. The next day, as they passed by same tree, the disciples discovered to their shock that the particular fig tree cursed the previous day by the master had withered. “The next day, as he left Bethany, Jesus was feeling hungry. He noticed a leafy fig tree in the distance, so he walked over to see if there was any fruit on it, but there was none—only leaves (for it wasn’t yet the season for bearing figs). Jesus spoke to the fig tree, saying, “No one will ever eat fruit from you again!” And the disciples overheard him.”
Mark 11:12-14.

There and then, Jesus began to teach them faith with what they just witnessed about the fig tree. He made them understand that the faith of God was key to what they just witnessed in the case of the fig tree. This faith doesn’t doubt what he says, because he understands the power in his spoken words which are always creative. This is possible because the release of such creative words under any circumstances is the release of the Spirit and life of God which created all things we can or cannot see. ‭”As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater, so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it. Isaiah 55:10-11 NIV‬.

Now we need to learn to walk in the faith of God. King James refers to it as ‘faith in God’, which stands on love. This implies that God’s love for us is so strong that he is bound to grant all our good heart desires anytime we operate with understanding of the fact that he will never let us down for any reason. That love is the reason he had said that whatsoever we should ask from the father in his name shall always be done. God so loved the world that he gave…… This means that love will always move even ourselves to give because we bear the nature of God. As a man, you will always grant the desires of the one you love. “But the Scriptures affirm: What is man that you would even think about him, or care about Adam’s race. You made him lower than the angels for a little while. You placed your glory and honor upon his head as a crown. And you have given him dominion over the works of your hands, For you have placed everything under his authority. This means that God has left nothing outside the control of his Son, even if presently we have yet to see this accomplished.” Hebrews 2:6-8.

Prayer :Thank you Father God because of your love for me that is not in doubt. Help me to understand this love so much as to trust you absolutely in everything. Thank you because you will never let me down because of your love for me in Jesus wonderful name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Yearly Bible Reading : Job 2:1-13.
