Effective Witnessing.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Sunday July 7th, 2024.

Topic : Effective Witnessing.

Memory Verse : 2 Timothy 1:6. Timothy and the Holy Spirit I’m writing to encourage you to fan into a flame and rekindle the fire of the spiritual gift God imparted to you when I laid my hands upon you.

Bible Reading : 2 Timothy 1:7-9 TPT. Key Verse : v8.

For God will never give you the spirit of fear, but the Holy Spirit who gives you mighty power, love, and self-control. So never be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor be embarrassed over my imprisonment, but overcome every evil by the revelation of the power of God! He gave us resurrection life and drew us to himself by his holy calling on our lives. And it wasn’t because of any good we have done, but by his divine pleasure and marvelous grace that confirmed our union with the anointed Jesus, even before time began!

Apostle Paul was a mentor to Timothy who waa a kingdom son to him. Paul watched over him and his ministry to always encourage him even from the four walls of a prison. “Look at how much encouragement you’ve found in your relationship with the Anointed One! You are filled to overflowing with his comforting love. You have experienced a deepening friendship with the Holy Spirit and have felt his tender affection and mercy. So I’m asking you, my friends, that you be joined together in perfect unity—with one heart, one passion, and united in one love. Walk together with one harmonious purpose and you will fill my heart with unbounded joy.” Philippians 2:1-2.

This day, ourselves are being encouraged by same words of encouragement that was given to Timothy. Having said that, we need to always remember that the Church are a group of people who had tasted of the goodness of God through his son Jesus who died in our stead that we may live. Believers are men who has gotten genuine and life changing encounters with Jesus Christ, and by the help of his Spirit that is at work to raise men unto himself. Such experiences of Jesus prepares us to become his mouthpiece or voice on earth or testifiers of his great and mighty works. ‭”But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” After he said this, he was taken up before their very eyes, and a cloud hid him from their sight.” Acts 1:8-9.

One personality that makes our witnessing effective is the Holy Spirit given to us. We therefore need to pay attention to spiritual exercises that will help us fan this spirit of life into flames of fire. This is when the Spirit becomes power in our lives. This fire when it begins to burn first helps to destroy, sonsume and send out of our lives those things that hinders God’s plan and move in our lives, so that we can become effective instruments in his ministry hands. The Spirit in it’s full course in our lives will eliminate all forms of fear and help us to walk in love and compassion of Jesus Christ himself which makes our testimony effective and result oriented. ‭”Then Peter said, “Silver or gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk.” Taking him by the right hand, he helped him up, and instantly the man’s feet and ankles became strong.” Acts 3:6-7 NIV‬.

Prayer :Thank you Lord Jesus for saving me so that I can be your mouthpiece. Thank you for giving me your Spirit to live by. Help me to fan your Spirit in me into flames of fire. Let my witnessing produce results in Jesus wonderful name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Love Of God Revealed

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Saturday July 6th, 2024.

Topic : Love Of God Revealed.

Memory Verse :‭ ‭John 3:6. Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit.

Bible Reading : ‭John 3:13-15 NIV‬. Key Verse : v14.

No one has ever gone into heaven except the one who came from heaven—the Son of Man. Just as Moses lifted up the snake in the wilderness, so the Son of Man must be lifted up, that everyone who believes may have eternal life in him.”

Jesus here was trying to help Nicodemus to understand what it means to be born again or to have a new life which as a grown up man was a huge mystery to him. He had come to have a private meeting with Jesus because there was a hunger in him to be like Jesus or at least be close to him because he had seen by proofs that God indeed was involved in the ministry of our Lord Jesus. “Now there was a Pharisee, a man named Nicodemus who was a member of the Jewish ruling council. He came to Jesus at night and said, “Rabbi, we know that you are a teacher who has come from God. For no one could perform the signs you are doing if God were not with him.” Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again.”” John 3:1-3.

“Jesus answered, “Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit. Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit. You should not be surprised at my saying, ‘You must be born again.’ The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit.”” John 3:5-8. Jesus here meant that the spirit of man which died (got separated from God the father of spirits and giver of life) because of sin, could be restored to the source of life and light as to live above the forces of nature. It’s all about the spirit of man getting reconnected to God in order to be able to function effectively in his realm being empowered by the almighty to live supernaturally.

Because it was just like a puzzle to Nicodemus. Jesus had to use a farmiliar story which everyone in Israel had known to explain the work of redemption he was on earth to undertake for the benefit of all men who will believe in the complete work of the cross. He wanted Nicodemus to look beyond the miracles to know the main reason he was on earth and key in fully. He used the experience of the people of Israel in the wilderness to explain the type of death he was about to die so that mankind in looking upto him can come out of their sins and it’s consequences. He tied it together by letting it be clear that the sacrifice of himself for the salvation of men was an act of extreme love of God revealed to men. “Just as Moses lifted up the snake in the wilderness, so the Son of Man must be lifted up, that everyone who believes may have eternal life in him.” For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.” John 3:14-17.

Prayer :Thank you Father God for giving me Jesus your son. Thank you Lord Jesus for loving me and humbling yourself to die on the cross to save me. Take over my life, let your Spirit empower me to live in your realm and function just like yourself all the days of my life in Jesus wonderful name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Take It By Faith.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Friday July 5th, 2024.

Topic :Take It By Faith.

Memory Verse : Luke 18:38. The blind beggar shouted, “Jesus, Son of David, have pity and show me mercy!”

Bible Reading :Luke 18:35-37.Key Verse : v42.

As Jesus and his followers arrived at Jericho, there was a blind beggar sitting on the roadside. When he heard the crowd approaching, he asked, “What’s all this commotion about?” “It’s Jesus!” they said. “Jesus the Nazarene is passing by.”

This time Jesus entered Jericho and a crowd followed him. A blind man who was begging by the roadside for survival named Bartimaeus heard the noise of the crowd and tried to find out what was going on. When he understood that Jesus Christ the healer was passing, he raised his voice to cry for help trying to get his attention. The people saw him as making noise and tried to get him keep quiet, but he ignored their attempt to silence him and keep raising his voice till he could get the attention of the master himself. When Jesus finally heard he voice, he stopped and asked that he should be brought on to the master. When he finally appeared before Jesus, he was asked what he wanted from the saviour of the universe. “The blind beggar shouted, “Jesus, Son of David, have pity and show me mercy!” “What is it you want me to do for you?” “Lord,” he said, “please, I want to see again.” Jesus said, “Now you will see. Receive your sight this moment. For your faith in me has given you sight and new life.” Instantly he could see again. His eyes popped opened, and he saw Jesus. He shouted loud praises to God and he followed Jesus. And when the crowd saw what happened, they too erupted with shouts of praise to God.” Luke 18:38,41-43.

Now we need to learn two lessons from this encounter that Bartimaeus had with Jesus Christ that resulted in his regaining his sight and bouncing back to sound health for the first time in his life. The first lesson to be learnt from this incident is the need for tenacity when we are seeking divine attention in any given situation. When Bartimaeus began to raise his voice to cry for help and mercy, the people rose against him and would have succeeded in denying him the miracle, if he had yielded to their efforts to shut him up because they saw him as Mr Nobody and therefore should not be heard out. He understood that such opportunity of having appointment with destiny through such a rare meeting with a man who had capacity to rewrite an ugly story in life doesn’t always happen. It was about his own life and destiny, so he refused to be intimidated. At the end he secured the attention of the master and got healed. He knew how to take his chances in life, when he had opportunity.

Another lesson we need to pick from Bartimaeus is that he knew how to exercise his faith. His shouting and refusing to be shut up was a proof of his unwavering faith in our Lord Jesus. Miracles and divine intervention are always activated by the faith of men. The power of God to heal and deliver is always available as long as the Holy Spirit is still at work on earth, but this anointing becomes manifest only in places and circumstances where the parties involved consciously decide to exercise their faith in what they are convinced that God can do. This means that even yourself can activate your own miracle to meet your needs in any situation you found yourself by putting your faith to work even now. “And without faith living within us it would be impossible to please God. For we come to God in faith knowing that he is real and that he rewards the faith of those who give all their passion and strength into seeking him.” Hebrews 11:6.

Prayer : Thank you Lord Jesus because you have solution to all my problems and answer to all my questions. In you all my needs are met. I come before you today by faith to receive your intervention in……… (mention the areas). Thank you for giving me a miracle today in Jesus wonderful name….. Amen 🙏🏿.

Divine Intervention

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Thursday July 4th, 2024.

Topic : Divine Intervention.

Memory Verse :‭ John 5:8. Then Jesus said to him, “Get up! Pick up your mat and walk.”

Bible Reading :‭John 5:5-7 NIV‬. Key Verse : v7.

One who was there had been an invalid for thirty-eight years. When Jesus saw him lying there and learned that he had been in this condition for a long time, he asked him, “Do you want to get well?” “Sir,” the invalid replied, “I have no one to help me into the pool when the water is stirred. While I am trying to get in, someone else goes down ahead of me.”

This particular day as recorded in the Bible, Jesus came to this particular sheep gate pool called Bethesda by name. It was a Jewish festive period and Jesus went down to Jerusalem to observe this particular festival. Now he went down to this sheep gate where it was recorded that had many impotent folks. On that particular day, grace and favour of the Lord was speaking on behalf of this particular man who had suffered most his life under the oppression of the enemy he opened a door to affliction due to his lifestyle of sin. Despite his past mistakes, God singled him out that particular day for a miracle and blessing he did not qualify for, neither was he prepared for it. When the master approached him his mighty and sovereign mercy and tried to interact with him, he was full of helplessness and hopelessness because of the situation he found himself in all those years he suffered affliction. Am sure he felt like one dreaming at this very intervention that gave him another chance to live or have a good life, as he found his entire body working well and responding to sound health again and suddenly too.

Some people reading this are giving up hope in the ugly situations they found themselves in just like that man in discussion. They think they have come to the end of the road. There are people who who had began to adapt to the ugly and unpleasant situations they found themselves in because someone (maybe an expert) had told them that there’s no way out. Some have been told to prepare to die because their situation can’t be remedied. There are others that had been given a report that they will have to live with a particular ailment because there is no outright remedy. Some people are crumbling under heavy burden and they don’t know whom to turn to for help. Some are loosing hope because help was delayed beyond their expectations. Truth is that the Jesus we serve doesn’t come late and before him, there’s no hopeless situation. “God is our shelter and strength,     always ready to help in times of trouble. So we will not be afraid, even if the earth is shaken and mountains fall into the ocean depths; even if the seas roar and rage, and the hills are shaken by the violence.” Psalms 46 GNB.

Today I bring you a message of hope from the throne room. Jesus said…“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” Matthew 11:28-30. Today, if you can lay down any heavy weights on you before Jesus Christ in prayer and by faith and make up your mind to allow him walk and work with you, you are going to experience a mind blowing miracle. In that area you lacked help, Jesus is sending you help now. In the area you were throwing in the towel, you are going to experience the move of the Spirit of God that produces divine restoration. Just like that man who encountered Jesus, what looked difficult and seemingly impossible is becoming easy now. Jesus does his miracles in simple ways when we believe.

Prayer :Thank you Lord Jesus for being so careful about me as to bypass many this day to locate me just like the impotent man by the pool. Even where I was the cause of my predicament, let mercy speak for me today. Thank you for revealing your intervention in my life and situation in Jesus wonderful name….. Amen 🙏🏿.

Accessing Your Inheritance In God.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Wednesday July 3rd, 2024.

Topic : Accessing Your Inheritance In God.

Memory Verse :‭ Hebrews 10:23. Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful.

‭Hebrews 10:20-22 NIV‬. Key Verse : v20.

by a new and living way opened for us through the curtain, that is, his body, and since we have a great priest over the house of God, let us draw near to God with a sincere heart and with the full assurance that faith brings, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water.

There’s something unique about Jesus Christ, the saviour of the world. Only in him can any man obtain forgiveness of sin before God our creator. No religious leader or Prophet that existed or will ever exist has the right capacity to handle the issue of sin because they are humans and therefore struggle with imperfection, their religious noise notwithstanding. Now we need to point out that sin is the foundation of all the problems of man. Before man fell into sin through his encounter with Satan in the garden of Eden, man was living in peace and had no issues, not even with God his maker. “But after he had considered this, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream and said, “Joseph son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary home as your wife, because what is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit. She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins.”” Matthew 1:20-21.

To save man, sin had to be dealt with in completeness, as to be taken out of the way through the only one that was qualified to handle it. The sacrifice Jesus made on the cross of calvary for sin on our behalf was complete and the court or justice system of heaven accepted it too. Before Jesus Christ came to the scene, animals was used to sacrifice for sin which only covered sin for about a year because it lacked capacity to delete sin in entirety. It was this sacrifice that qualified him to be our eternal high priest before the throne of God. His blood stands to speak for us in God’s presence anytime there’s need. That is the reason he boldly said in the book of John 14:6 “——— “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” The channel through which men are able to reach God the father is through the shed blood of the son that is able to delete or erase sin completely and set the sinner who believes in him free of guilt, so that he can be able to approach as well as function before a God whose eyes are too pure to behold iniquity.

The implication of all this is that we can now approach God with confidence or boldness by faith anytime we have need of the father, because we were configured to depend on him. We approach him as children and joint heirs with Jesus our saviour to access those heavenly blessings and inheritance that belongs to us by covenant. By Jesus, we access the promises of God to apply them to our various situations. That is the more reason we can’t ask and receive from God through the name of any other creature in heaven or on earth, dead or alive. Through his blood, we have access to grace and mercy and by by his name we receive whatever we desire from the throne room. “In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will: That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ. In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,” Ephesians 1:11-13.

Prayer : Thank you Father God for making me part of your your family and kingdom. Open my understanding to comprehend in full measure what you did for me by the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, your son. From today, I begin to access in full measure all you made available to me through your son in Jesus precious name….. Amen 🙏🏿.

Contending To Posses Your Possessions.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Tuesday July 2nd, 2024.

Topic : Contending To Posses Your Possessions.

Memory Verse :Jude 1:3. Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.(KJV)

Bible Reading : Joshua 1:1-3 NIV. Key Verse : v3.

After the death of Moses the servant of the Lord, the Lord said to Joshua son of Nun, Moses’ aide: “Moses my servant is dead. Now then, you and all these people, get ready to cross the Jordan River into the land I am about to give to them—to the Israelites. I will give you every place where you set your foot, as I promised Moses.

After Moses went to be with the Lord, the mantle of leadership fell upon Joshua his assistant. God had to speak to him to prepare him for what lay ahead of him. Today Joshua is no more and the Lord is speaking directly to me and you because he wants to depend on us to fulfill his plan and purpose wherever he had planted us to flourish. Now the number one thing we must realise therefore is that we have to wake up to fight so that the things or territories which the Lord had given us already, so that they could be made manifest in reality or in a manner that we can handle them in the physical realm. Through the charge God gave Joshua, we can see some points to know what God has in stock for us as well as what to we should do to establish God’s purpose in our lives as individuals and as a people this time.

Now we must understand that the God we serve is above all, therefore nothing can stop his hand when he wants to bless or do any work in a man’s life. His presence in their journey (the people of Israel) kept enemies at bay. Those who had the audacity to dare them harvested defeat and humiliation. ‭”No one will be able to stand against you all the days of your life. As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will never leave you nor forsake you. Be strong and courageous, because you will lead these people to inherit the land I swore to their ancestors to give them.” Joshua 1:5-6.

‭”“Be strong and very courageous. Be careful to obey all the law my servant Moses gave you; do not turn from it to the right or to the left, that you may be successful wherever you go. Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”” Joshua 1:7-9. Today we have to learn as a people to hear as to obey the voice of the Lord in everything we do. Men that hear God in their life endeavours in any generation stands out with extraordinary results in their lifetime. It is good to be rooted in the written word till it begins to regulate our lives and actions. We don’t just stop there, we also have to do everything within our reach to pay any possible price necessary to hear the voice on God per time in what we do you and by the help of his in-dwelling Spirit. By his voice, his wisdom are revealed in any given situation.

Prayer : Thank you Father God for every territories you are giving me this season. I ask for strength to be bold to confront and bring down the enemies anytime they come up against me. Let your word and voice put direction to my life always till I become a success story in Jesus wonderful name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Taking Your Place In Divine Agenda.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Monday July 1st, 2024.

Topic : Taking Your Place In Divine Agenda.

Memory Verse :‭1 Peter 2:6. For in Scripture it says: “See, I lay a stone in Zion, a chosen and precious cornerstone, and the one who trusts in him will never be put to shame.”

Bible Reading :‭1 Peter 2:3-5, 14 NIV‬. Key Verse: v5.

now that you have tasted that the Lord is good. As you come to him, the living Stone—rejected by humans but chosen by God and precious to him— you also, like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house to be a holy priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.

This new month, your rising and effectiveness will depend on your response to and relationship with Jesus Christ and his Spirit given to us. In the first place you must rid yourself of every sin that should hinder the flow of life to you from the father of spirits. Then you have to understand that you have a new life in the spirit that needs care to nurture just the way you care for your physical self. The way you feed your physical body, your spirit-man needs nourishment to grow and be healthy. You have to feed yourself daily with the word of God which functions to provide the spiritual nutrients you need to be healthy in the spirit. This is key to your being able to take up your spiritual responsibilities as an individual. “Therefore, rid yourselves of all malice and all deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and slander of every kind. Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation,” 1 Peter 2:1-2.

Growth here is very important so that we can mature to function in the priesthood of the almighty as living stones. Jesus didn’t come to the earth to build auditoriums, though we need such as shelter or meeting venues. He came to the earth rather to build men, men he can live in as the father of spirits, so that he can carry out his plan on earth using them as vehicles to reach our world. This becomes possible when we have understanding as to cooperate with the master in the place of prayer. The truth is that no man is qualified to appear before God and get results outside the office of a priest. So the priesthood Elder Peter is discussing here are men who stand before God in their generation to make sure his purpose stands in their communities and among the nations. “Then the Lord reached out his hand and touched my mouth and said to me, “I have put my words in your mouth. See, today I appoint you over nations and kingdoms to uproot and tear down, to destroy and overthrow, to build and to plant.”” Jeremiah 1:9-10.

Your effectiveness in the prayer place this new month will be key to activating turnaround testimonies God has prepared for you. In the place of prayer, we are able to judge and bring down wicked forces that desires to keep men in perpetual bondage so that they can be able to fulfil divine destiny. ‭The believer that functions effectively in his/her priestly office can never suffer shame or defeat in life. Rather he/she will continue to be empowered to live out God’s glorious purpose here on earth. “But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light. Once you were not a people, but now you are the people of God; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.” 1 Peter 2:9-10.

Prayer :Thank you Father God for giving me Jesus. Thank you for making me part of your kingdom on earth. From today, help me to function effectively before you a priest you can depend on to further your purpose here on earth. Thank you for making my life glorious in you in Jesus wonderful name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Suffering Persecution And Patience

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Sunday June 30th, 2024.

Topic : Suffering Persecution And Patience.

Memory Verse : ‭1 Peter 4:16, if you suffer as a Christian, do not be ashamed, but praise God that you bear that name.

Bible Reading :‭1 Peter 4:12-14 MSG Key Verse : v13.

Friends, when life gets really difficult, don’t jump to the conclusion that God isn’t on the job. Instead, be glad that you are in the very thick of what Christ experienced. This is a spiritual refining process, with glory just around the corner. If you’re abused because of Christ, count yourself fortunate. It’s the Spirit of God and his glory in you that brought you to the notice of others.

As we draw the curtain on qualities of a disciple, we shall look at two important ones today. It’s good to point out that they can’t be exhausted these few Sundays. The first we are looking at today is our readiness to suffer persecution because of Jesus. Followers of Christ sometimes do come under attack because of their faith. The cross has an ugly side which gave birth to the blessing that it carries, which is suffering. The experience of the cross was very painful before it could birth redemption. When we truly follow Jesus, at some point in time, we are bound to encounter enemies of the cross, men who hate God and his ways. Such individuals are bound to put up a fight against us and what we stand for in him, which will always be contrary to their way of doing things. God himself permits such in order to use such situations to work out a better us. “And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; And patience, experience; and experience, hope: And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.” Romans 5:3-5 KJV.

Another important attribute of a discipleshp is patience. “Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward. For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.” Hebrews 10:35-36 KJV. God’s blessings comes by promises. Promises are like seeds that takes time to germinate, grow and yield fruits. When a farmer puts a seed in the soil, he doesn’t go to sleep, but takes time to care for the seed by watering it when needed, clearing weeds that may hinder proper growth, etc. In all these, he patiently labours to care for his precious seed till the time of harvest which always vary, depending on the type of seed. Father Abraham is a living example of patience. He was promised a child and it took 25 years before this promise was fulfilled. That didn’t make him to stop following God. He remained with God till the word of promise came to pass in his life as Isaac was finally born. We have to note here that patience is a practical expression of our faith, trust and confidence in God to deliver.

Prayer :Thank you Father God for counting me worthy to be your follower. Help me be ready to suffer for you if need be at any point in time. Help me to hold on to your promises till their full manifestion in my life in Jesus precious name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Living In God’s Love.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Saturday June 29th, 2024.

Topic : Living In God’s Love.

Memory Verse :
John 17:23. You live fully in me and now I live fully in them so that they will experience perfect unity, and the world will be convinced that you have sent me, for they will see that you love each one of them with the same passionate love that you have for me.

Bible Reading : John 17:20-22 TPT. Key Verse : v21.

“And I ask not only for these disciples, but also for all those who will one day believe in me through their message. I pray for them all to be joined together as one even as you and I, Father, are joined together as one. I pray for them to become one with us so that the world will recognize that you sent me. For the very glory you have given to me I have given them so that they will be joined together as one and experience the same unity that we enjoy.

By this time Jesus Christ was rounding up his earthly ministry. Therefore he began to prepare the disciples for what lay ahead of them in a life without his physical presence. Now in this chapter seventeen of John he prayed one of the most heartfelt prayer that shaped our relationship with the God head. If you look at Christianity around the world, you will observe that the prayers he made to God in this chapter is at work. We need to study this prayer of this chapter and as to do everything possible to live our Christian lives anchored on the reliable answers to this prayers which began to manifest in the lives of the disciples in full measure from the day of pentecost when God came down from heaven to live in man permanently. “Then all at once a pillar of fire appeared before their eyes. It separated into tongues of fire that engulfed each one of them. They were all filled and equipped with the Holy Spirit and were inspired to speak in tongues—empowered by the Spirit to speak in languages they had never learned!” Acts 2:3-4.

In his prayer to the father, Jesus made specific requests we must live in the consciousness of daily to make our earthly lives worthwhile. The first thing I want us to realise here is that all he requested from the father here was for everyone that will ever believe in his name till he returns. Now, observe here that Jesus specifically desired that we live a life of union with the God head. Just the way the father, son and Spirit are one, we became the fourth personality in the union. This union is what qualified us to carry his glory here on earth. That is the primary reason the Holy Spirit is given to us as a mark or seal of ownership. He is the carrier of the glory of God that beautifies the lives of men on earth. “But God still loved us with such great love. He is so rich in compassion and mercy. Even when we were dead and doomed in our many sins, he united us into the very life of Christ and saved us by his wonderful grace! He raised us up with Christ the exalted One, and we ascended with him into the glorious perfection and authority of the heavenly realm, for we are now co-seated as one with Christ!” Ephesians 2:4-6.

“So with deep love, I pray for my disciples. I’m not asking on behalf of the unbelieving world, but for those who belong to you, those you have given me. For all who belong to me now belong to you. And all who belong to you now belong to me as well, and my glory is revealed through their surrendered lives. “Holy Father, I am about to leave this world to return and be with you, but my disciples will remain here. So I ask that by the power of your name, protect each one that you have given me, and watch over them so that they will be united as one, even as we are one.” John 17:9-11. On a final note today, I want us to realise that we are not without protection, no matter the level of wickedness that operate in our world. Jesus asked the father to keep us from the evil one and his wicked forces working with him. Specifically he asked that his name should be our defense. That is the reason we bear his name as family members. At his name every knee bows. “From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I. For thou hast been a shelter for me, and a strong tower from the enemy. I will abide in thy tabernacle for ever: I will trust in the covert of thy wings. Selah.” Psalms 61:2-4 KJV. See Proverbs 18:10.

Prayer : Thank you Lord Jesus for all you have done for me. Thank you for your love that is deeper than any explanations. Thank you for making me one with you. Thank you for your protection over my life and all that belongs to me in Jesus wonderful name….. Amen 🙏🏿.

Walking In Victory.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Friday June 28th, 2024.

Topic : Walking In Victory.

Memory Verse : ‭Proverbs 4:23. Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life. (KJV)

Bible Reading : ‭2 Corinthians 10:3-5 NIV‬. Key Verse: v4.

For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.

I once heard a man of God say that life is a warfare and not a funfare. I also read a book by Dick Eastman titled No Easy Road. The book is worth reading and it focuses on prayer. It teaches that prayer is not an easy task, it demands commitment and men who want to pray to influence things on earth by the power of God should be ready to pay the price. Having said that, now we live a world full of all kinds of powers, interests, arguments, etc. All of them are trying to catch our attention and gain our acceptance as to exercise control over us as individuals. These battles most time takes place in our minds in the form of thoughts that prop up in our minds. The enemy we know doesn’t have the capacity to read our minds, but he project thoughts into the mind of people. At the same time, we have what it takes to accept or reject such thoughts. Therefore what we are responsible to control what we enters our minds because at the end they will influence the way we behave and things we do.

Now man is made up three components; spirit, soul and body. The flesh is a housing of the real thing (the soul). The spirit is the breath of God that gave man life which returns to him at the end of our earthly life. The soul is where the real expression of the man is. The soul is the one that goes for reward or punishment depending on how we lived our lives here on earth. Now we can be ruled by our flesh or spirit man, depending on the one we nurture to take charge or control of our soul. “The mind governed by the flesh is hostile to God; it does not submit to God’s law, nor can it do so. Those who are in the realm of the flesh cannot please God. You, however, are not in the realm of the flesh but are in the realm of the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God lives in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, they do not belong to Christ.” Romans 8:7-9.

To live victorious therefore we need to understand the nature of man and the battles of life as to fight from the point of victory. No man can win the battles of life by his flesh of physical power and ability. Rather we walk in victory when we align with the father of all spirits. At this point he leads to walk by the victory of the cross. His Spirit empowering our own spirit makes us walk in divine wisdom and strength that the enemy is helpless about. We must also learn to build walls of protection (faith) around our hearts or thought life using the bricks of the word of God. The word is the right instrument that has capacity to shield our hearts, minds or thought life from the incursions of the wicked one when he throws his darts to puncture our confidence in the Lord. We anchor our battles on our knees through prayer. No praying man fails in life, be assured. Then you will be prosperous and successful.” Joshua 1:7-8.

Prayer :Thank you Father God for loving me and giving me all it takes to be victorious daily in this life. Help me to also fight alongside you using every resources you have made available to me through Jesus Christ my saviour. I worship you for you have done for me in Jesus blessed name…. Amen 🙏🏿.
