The Kingdom Edge.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Wednesday July 17th, 2024.

Topic : The Kingdom Edge.

Memory Verse : ‭Matthew 6:31. So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’

Bible Reading : ‭Matthew 6:28-30 NIV‬. Key Verse : v3.

“And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you—you of little faith?

When we believe in Jesus, we become covenant people. We live our lives not based on circumstances of life but by what God says about us. At this point, whatever we can do or will be able to achieve in life will depend heavily on how we respond to God who is the source of all things that men live to pursue. God created man to be creative in order to recreate his world using resources made available to him by the creator himself. To that extent, he gave us the ability to engage in creative as well as critical thinking which drives inventions for the advancement of the course of mankind or produces positive results most time. “In Jerusalem he made devices invented for use on the towers and on the corner defenses so that soldiers could shoot arrows and hurl large stones from the walls. His fame spread far and wide, for he was greatly helped until he became powerful.” 2 Chronicles 26:15.

When we worry, we go outside the boundaries of creative or critical thinking to get ourselves under pressure as a result of fear of failure especially when we fail to meet certain targets. God doesn’t have any intention that those who belong to him should function like every other men on the planet. He wants us to be different or have a different mindset that agrees with him in order to carry his blessing and secure his intervention anytime we need such. This means that we have to understand our peculiarities as his own people and learn to partner with him in order to make our lives less cumbersome. “But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light. Once you were not a people, but now you are the people of God; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.” 1 Peter 2:9-10.

On a very important note, God’s desire is to use us to display his goodness on earth. This can only be possible when we have understanding and make up our minds to partner with him in order to provide a legal ground for his serious involvement as well as interventions in our personal affairs. This legal ground he made available to us in his wisdom through the channel kingdom pursuits. These kingdom pursuits are channels through which God uses men to orchestrate his plan and purpose on earth. “For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. ” Matthew 6:32-33.

Prayer :Thank you Father God because you are a perfect planner. Thank you for making me your own. Thank you for giving me a creative mindset. Help me to live above worries. Let my life be tailored to pursue you, your righteousness and purpose daily. Thank you for your commitment to give me an edge in life through kingdom pursuits in Jesus wonderful name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Taking Advantage Of Divine Provisions

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS

Tuesday July 16th, 2024.

Topic :Taking Advantage Of Divine Provisions.

Memory Verse : Romans 8:5 Those who are motivated by the flesh only pursue what benefits themselves. But those who live by the impulses of the Holy Spirit are motivated to pursue spiritual realities .

Bible Reading : Romans 8:3-4 TPT. Key Verse : v4.

For God achieved what the law was unable to accomplish, because the law was limited by the weakness of human nature. Yet God sent us his Son in human form to identify with human weakness. Clothed with humanity, God’s Son gave his body to be the sin-offering so that God could once and for all condemn the guilt and power of sin. So now every righteous requirement of the law can be fulfilled through the Anointed One living his life in us. And we are free to live, not according to our flesh, but by the dynamic power of the Holy Spirit!

Jesus came to the earth as a man though he was fully God and shared the human nature while on earth, being born of a woman. Before he came, all the efforts of man to measure upto the requirements or standard of God as long as righteousness is concerned was inadequate. God is his unfailing love, wisdom and mercy helped us out by sending Jesus the righteous one to our rescue. He took our place in judgement, condemnation and death. This made it possible for us to take his own place that he gave up for redemption sake in righteousness. That is how we became the righteousness of God through Christ Jesus. “For God made the only one who did not know sin to become sin for us, so that we who did not know righteousness might become the righteousness of God through our union with him.” 2 Corinthians 5:21.

Having escaped condemnation and death through the work of the cross, there’s a need to make our Christianity count. Those whom their lives in the kingdom will count, must consciously make conscious efforts to walk in spiritual realities. Men get stagnated and unproductive in the kingdom when they walk contrary. Walking in spiritual realities is all about getting intentionally involved daily in spiritual exercises or activities that helps us develop spiritual capacity and capabilities. These are involvements that build us up in the spirit or that results in spiritual growth and enhancement. Such exercises may look ordinary, but as we consistently get involved in them, we will keep making progress with God.

Another important factor is our ability to mature, as to live by the impulse of the Spirit of God as given to us freely by God instead of that of our flesh. As we know that every impulse of the flesh is always contrary to God and things of the Spirit, the flesh will never go for things that will not be to it’s selfish advantage. The fact is that being careful to discern and follow the impulse or promptings of the Spirit of life is key to result oriented Christianity. The more we are able to understand and follow his leading, the more difficult things and situations becomes easy. “But if you live in life-union with me and if my words live powerfully within you—then you can ask whatever you desire and it will be done. When your lives bear abundant fruit, you demonstrate that you are my mature disciples who glorify my Father! “I love each of you with the same love that the Father loves me. You must continually let my love nourish your hearts.” John 15:7-9.

Prayer :Thank you Father God for all you have made available to me through redemption and by your indwelling Spirit. Help me to to take full advantage of every spiritual resources you have made available to me to have a fruitful earthly life in Jesus wonderful name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Keys To Kingdom Fruitfulness

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Monday July 15th, 2024.

Topic : Keys To Kingdom Fruitfulness.

Memory Verse :‭ 2 Peter 1:5. For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge;

Bible Reading : 2 Peter 1:3-4 TPT. Key Verse : v3.

Everything we could ever need for life and complete devotion to God has already been deposited in us by his divine power. For all this was lavished upon us through the rich experience of knowing him who has called us by name and invited us to come to him through a glorious manifestation of his goodness. As a result of this, he has given you magnificent promises that are beyond all price, so that through the power of these tremendous promises you can experience partnership with the divine nature, by which you have escaped the corrupt desires that are of the world.

Christianity becomes exciting when we have understanding. What God did for man at redemption is a complete work. He has fulfilled his own part of the bargain by giving us Jesus to die to deal with the issue of sin that is the major factor causing problem in man’s relationship with God. After getting the issue of sin out of the way, he took another step further to give us the Holy Spirit, so that we can have stability in him. Everything we need therefore to stand and succeed in life, he had packaged in his Spirit as given to us. Every other thing that needs to be done becomes the responsibility of man. We are responsible to take advantage of the Spirit given us to tame some part of us that can make a man unfruitful or unproductive, even when he is inside Jesus.

Now, we need to understand first that any believer that must make meaningful impact in his/her walk with God must learn how to stand with God based on his word or promises. Men that become kingdom game changers are those who master that process of standing on God’s unfailing promises till they yield desired results in their lives and circumstances. God intervenes in the affairs of man or partners with us in whatever we do in life when we follow the prescriptions of his word. This partnership is what gurrantees us victory or uncommon results in every of our endeavours. “Truth’s shining light guides me in my choices and decisions; the revelation of your word makes my pathway clear. To live my life by your righteous rules has been my holy and lifelong commitment. I’m bruised and broken, overwhelmed by it all; breathe life into me again by your living word.” Psalm 119:105-107.

“So devote yourselves to lavishly supplementing your faith with goodness, and to goodness add understanding, and to understanding add the strength of self-control, and to self-control add patient endurance, and to patient endurance add godliness, and to godliness add mercy toward your brothers and sisters, and to mercy toward others add unending love. Since these virtues are already planted deep within, and you possess them in abundant supply, they will keep you from being inactive or fruitless in your pursuit of knowing Jesus Christ more intimately.” 2 Peter 1:5-8. On a very important and final note, we are to devote our time to build these qualities into our daily lives. We have to see these virtues as supplements to the promises we apply to our daily lives in order to boost what God had done already as to make it effective and give it an expression in daily living. These virtues will give our faith a voice any time they are present in our lives and make us most productive and impactful in the kingdom.

Prayer :Thank you Father God for all you have done for me in Jesus your son. Thank you for giving me your Spirit to help me walk as well as partner with you in life. Help me to take advantage of your provisions to walk in the paths of fruitfulness all the days of my life in Jesus precious name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Becoming Agents Of Divine Change

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Sunday July 14th, 2024.

Topic :Becoming Agents Of Divine Change.

Memory Verse : James 4:5. Does the Scripture mean nothing to you that says, “The Spirit that God breathed into our hearts is a jealous Lover who intensely desires to have more and more of us”?

Bible Reading : 2 Corinthians 6:16-18 TPT. Key Verse : v17.

What friendship does God’s temple have with demons? For indeed, we are the temple of the living God, just as God has said: I will make my home in them and walk among them. I will be their God, and they will be my people. For this reason, “Come out from among them and be separate,” says the Lord. “Touch nothing that is unclean, and I will embrace you. I will be a true Father to you, and you will be my beloved sons and daughters,” says the Lord Yahweh Almighty.

We live in this world, but have the understanding that we don’t belong to the world system that hates righteousness. God invested heavily in us because of his love for man. The first investment God made in man at creation was his own breath that gave us life, so man became a living soul. That’s the reason God placed premium value on man and goes out of his way to care for feeble man our shortcomings notwithstanding. God created every thing we can or can’t see to give man comfort and pleasure. But the man himself he created to give himself the creator pleasure at last. “the twenty-four elders fell facedown before the one seated on the throne and they worshiped the one who lives forever and ever. And they surrendered their crowns before the throne, singing: “You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory, honor, and power, for you created all things, and by your plan they were created and exist.”” Revelation 4:10-11.

We have become territories of God, a place he can live, walk in and work from to reach a hurting, rebellious and dying world. God wants to keep a loving and jealous relationship with man all the time. He doesn’t want anything to compete for with him for our attention, especially our hearts. He desires to be the object of our love. To that extent we have to be like David who confessed always being glad at heart anytime it was time to appear in the house of the Lord in his days. The house of God those days was a meeting point (a physical temple). In our days, the house or temple is no more a physical, but spiritual structure found in the body of a man from where the father of spirits operates. “In a palace you find many kinds of containers and tableware for many different uses. Some are beautifully inlaid with gold or silver, but some are made of wood or earthenware; some of them are used for banquets and special occasions, and some for everyday use. But you, Timothy, must not see your life and ministry this way. Your life and ministry must not be disgraced, for you are to be a pure container of Christ and dedicated to the honorable purposes of your Master, prepared for every good work that he gives you to do.” 2 Timothy 2:20-21.

At this point we are able to function as his ambassadors or men who has what it takes to represent heaven in the earthly realm. This gives us an uncommon status as men who are qualified to take decisions on behalf of heaven. Not only that; our personal and collective decisions in sensitive issues determine what God himself does because he now works alongside us on earth or in agreement with us. ““Truly I tell you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. “Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.”Matthew 18:18-20 NIV‬.

Prayer :Thank you Father God for creating me to be your habitation. Help me to live to be the man you can always live in and use to accomplish your will on earth. Let my desires and pursuits align with your purpose at any point in time in Jesus precious name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Being Different.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Saturday July 13th, 2024.

Topic :Being Different.

Memory Verse : ‭Philippians 4:4. Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!

Bible Reading : ‭Philippians 4:5-7 NIV‬. Key Verse : v7.

Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

We as people of God has been called into a lifestyle of faith. Our faith is anchored on him that died for our sins and arose for our justification. This lifestyle of faith is all about depending on God where our strength and abilities would have failed us, because he is a higher power and the source of everything good. Faith has to do with our conviction in whom God is and what is able to do because of the love he has for us that knows no boundaries. Faith in God is the only reason a man can always be a rejoicing mode because there circumstances around that will want to choke his joy as much as is possible as to inflict him with sadness, self pity, doubts, etc. as to create a legal ground for the enemy to operate. “That’s why we’re always full of courage. Even while we’re at home in the body, we’re homesick to be with the Master— for we live by faith, not by what we see with our eyes. We live with a joyful confidence, yet at the same time we take delight in the thought of leaving our bodies behind to be at home with the Lord.” Corinthians 5:6-8 TPT.

Our confidence when dealing with God stems on the fact that we are sure that he hears us. This knowing helps us to be appreciate God’s goodness as to be hankful even in difficult siruations. Jesus showed us an example of a life of confidence in God at the tomb of Lazarus whom he raused from the dead. Men who walk in such conviction and understanding live above worries. They don’t allow any scary situation to be loud their sense of reasoning and sound judgement that is based on whom God is and he he does or will always do. “God, you’re such a safe and powerful place to find refuge! You’re a proven help in time of trouble— more than enough and always available whenever I need you. So we will never fear even if every structure of support were to crumble away. We will not fear even when the earth quakes and shakes, moving mountains and casting them into the sea. For the raging roar of stormy winds and crashing waves cannot erode our faith in you. Pause in his presence” Psalm 46:1-3 TPT.

We have peace after we pray because we are sure of answers from the Lord. This peace is not subject to the size of our account balance and stuffs like that. Men living outside the covenant cannot fathom this peace, neither can they understand the source of our joy and the reason for our rejoicing. But we know that we live that way because we see what can’t see even with their binoculars and stuffs like that and we hear things that they lack capacity to hear no matter what they do to enhance their hearing abilities in the natural world. ‭”As it is written: “I have made you a father of many nations.” He is our father in the sight of God, in whom he believed—the God who gives life to the dead and calls into being things that were not. Against all hope, Abraham in hope believed and so became the father of many nations, just as it had been said to him, “So shall your offspring be.”” Romans 4:17-18.

Prayer :Thank you Father God for creating me to live by you. Thank you for saving me and restoring me to a place of fellowship with you. Help me to be different in a troubled world. Thank you for calling me to live victorious by faith in you in Jesus wonderful name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

No Hopeless Situation With Jesus.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Friday July 12th, 2024.

Topic : No Hopeless Situation With Jesus.

Memory Verse : Luke 8:50. When Jesus heard this, he said, “Jairus, don’t yield to your fear. Have faith in me and she will live again.”

Bible Reading : Luke 8:40-41 TPT. Key Verse : v50.

When Jesus returned to Galilee, the crowds were overjoyed, for they had been waiting for him to arrive. Just then, a man named Jairus, the leader of the local Jewish congregation, fell before Jesus’ feet. He desperately begged him to come and heal his twelve-year-old daughter, his only child, because she was at the point of death. Jesus started to go with him to his home to see her, but a large crowd surrounded him.

A man called Jairus who was a religious leader came to Jesus for help because his daughter was sick and dying. Jesus obliged to help out of the situation. Because of the personality of Jesus, a large crowd followed him. In such situation, there was no way the movement could be fast. Infact people were pressing on the most popular man that ever lived on earth while on the way for one reason or another. They were still on their way to see and heal the sick daughter when a massenger ran to inform Jairus that his sick daughter had passed on, therefore there was no need bringing the master of the universe to the house anymore. On getting that information the man became speechless, confused and helpless. But Jesus being the life giver told him not to be shaken by what he just heard from the massenger, but believe in what God could and was about to do in his life and family. “Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”” Matthew 19:26 NIV‬.

“When they arrived at the house, Jesus allowed only Peter, John, and Jacob—along with the child’s parents—to go inside. Jesus told those left outside, who were sobbing and wailing with grief, “Stop crying. She is not dead; she’s just asleep and must be awakened.” They laughed at him, knowing for certain that she had died. Jesus approached the body, took the girl by her hand, and called out with a loud voice, “My sleeping child, awake! Rise up!” Instantly her spirit returned to her body and she stood up. Jesus directed her stunned parents to give her something to eat and ordered them not to tell anyone what just happened.” Luke 8:51-55.

Today the Lord wants to bring back to life every good thing the enemy destroyed in the lives of men. In this life, death is a hopeless and helpless situation, but not with Jesus. There are no hopeless or helpless situations before him. Jesus is alive and the only proof of this is that though we can’t see him with our physical eyes, in his name every terrible, seemingly hopeless and helpless situations of life responds. This is because to him must every knee bow and every tongue must confess his glory. He has given us his name to use and secure whatever divine intervention we desire per time. “And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.” Mark 16:15-18 KJV.

Prayer :Thank you Lord Jesus for the power in your name. Thank you because you are the life giving Spirit. Today by the voice of your Spirit, I speak life into my spirit man, business…..(mention them). I command them to come back to life in Jesus wonderful name….. Amen 🙏🏿.

Prayer Changes All Things.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Thursday July 11th, 2024.

Topic : Prayer Changes All Things.

Memory Verse :‭Jeremiah 33:3. ‘Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.’

Bible Reading :‭Acts 12:3-5 NIV‬. Key Verse : v5.

When he saw that this met with approval among the Jews, he proceeded to seize Peter also. This happened during the Festival of Unleavened Bread. After arresting him, he put him in prison, handing him over to be guarded by four squads of four soldiers each. Herod intended to bring him out for public trial after the Passover. So Peter was kept in prison, but the church was earnestly praying to God for him.

This time in the book of Acts, king Herod stirred up great persecution against the early church which was at a formation stage. Some disciples were imprisoned and In the process, James the brother of John was killed. Now when Herod observed how that act of wickedness pleased enemies of the gospel, he took a step further to arrest Apostle Peter intending to kill him too. This time the early church woke up to their responsibility by praying continously that the Lord intervenes to deliver his servant. ‭”So Peter was kept in prison, but the church was earnestly praying to God for him. The night before Herod was to bring him to trial, Peter was sleeping between two soldiers, bound with two chains, and sentries stood guard at the entrance. Suddenly an angel of the Lord appeared and a light shone in the cell. He struck Peter on the side and woke him up. “Quick, get up!” he said, and the chains fell off Peter’s wrists.” Acts 12:5-7.

“Then the angel said to him, “Put on your clothes and sandals.” And Peter did so. “Wrap your cloak around you and follow me,” the angel told him. Peter followed him out of the prison, but he had no idea that what the angel was doing was really happening; he thought he was seeing a vision. They passed the first and second guards and came to the iron gate leading to the city. It opened for them by itself, and they went through it. When they had walked the length of one street, suddenly the angel left him.“ Acts 12:8-10. Peter felt like one who dreamt as the angel took him through the gates of the prison to the main road and asked him there to go home. That was when he realised that he wasn’t dreaming and he had to return to meet his praying brethren.

The praying brethren brethren on their own couldn’t believe he was the one when he began to knock on the door, they couldn’t believe Rhoda who ran back from opening the door to confirm his return. ‭“You’re out of your mind,” they told her. When she kept insisting that “it was so, they said, “It must be his angel.” But Peter kept on knocking, and when they opened the door and saw him, they were astonished. Peter motioned with his hand for them to be quiet and described how the Lord had brought him out of prison. “Tell James and the other brothers and sisters about this,” he said, and then he left for another place.”” Acts 12:15-17. Today Jesus is telling us to return to the place of prayer as his people. If we can committedly fight our battles alongside him in the place of prayer, the results we are going to reap this season will shock even ourselves and people around us.

Prayer :Thank you Lord Jesus because you are the captain of my warfare. As I stand in the place of prayer with you concerning…… (mention the cases), let your angels of warfare be mobilised on my behalf. Let me begin to reap results that will shock many in Jesus wonderful name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Navigating The Paths Of Faith.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Wednesday July 10th, 2024.

Topic : Navigating The Paths Of Faith.

Memory Verse :‭‭Hebrews 11:6. And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.

Bible Reading : ‭Romans 4:1-3 NIV‬. Key Verse : v3.

What then shall we say that Abraham, our forefather according to the flesh, discovered in this matter? If, in fact, Abraham was justified by works, he had something to boast about—but not before God. What does Scripture say? “Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness.”

Faith is a very important component in our daily walk with God. Father Abraham is our role model in this regard because of the processes he passed in the school of faith and obtained a good report in every department of it. Before he came on board, people like Noah heard and obeyed God, but what stood him out was his ability to surrender Isaac, a son of promise that he waited for about 25 years. By that singular act, he demonstrated his love for God above every other thing else God blessed him with. ‭‭”and said, “I swear by myself, declares the Lord, that because you have done this and have not withheld your son, your only son, I will surely bless you and make your descendants as numerous as the stars in the sky and as the sand on the seashore. Your descendants will take possession of the cities of their enemies, and through your offspring all nations on earth will be blessed, because you have obeyed me.”
Genesis 22:16-18.

In our days, the first work faith does in our lives, is the work of salvation. To be saved from condemnation and eternal destruction, we have to believe in the word of God that was made manifest in the flesh. “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth. (John testified concerning him. He cried out, saying, “This is the one I spoke about when I said, ‘He who comes after me has surpassed me because he was before me.’ ”) Out of his fullness we have all received grace in place of grace already given. For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.” John 1:1-2, 14-17.

Faith that produces result is anchored on Jesus who is God’s word manifested in the flesh and his Spirit given to us to live by. His presence is there to help us to be fruitful in all we do. His written word and promises provides us with light or direction in our daily life. By the instructions of his Spirit, we are able to handle complicsted issues and navigate difficult terrains when we encounter them. “And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever— the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you. I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you.” John 14:16-18.

Prayer :Thank you Lord Jesus for being the author and finisher of my faith. Thank you for dying so that I may live through you. Thank you for giving me your Spirit to keep me company and guide me through the journey of life. Thank you for giving me a victorious earthly life by faith in you in Jesus precious name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Standing In The Blessings.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Tuesday July 9th, 2024.

Topic : Standing In The Blessings.

Memory Verse : ‭Isaiah 45:4 For the sake of Jacob my servant, of Israel my chosen, I summon you by name and bestow on you a title of honor, though you do not acknowledge me.

Bible Reading : ‭Isaiah 45:5-7 NIV‬. Key Verse : v5.

I am the Lord, and there is no other; apart from me there is no God. I will strengthen you, though you have not acknowledged me, so that from the rising of the sun to the place of its setting people may know there is none besides me. I am the Lord, and there is no other. I form the light and create darkness, I bring prosperity and create disaster; I, the Lord, do all these things.

There are times God speaks of things that sounds difficult or impossible to the ears of men. At some of such occasions, he may choose to seal such words of promises with the seal of his name. When this happens, he is trying to reveal a dimension of himself that makes him Omnipotent or the God that can and will do all things as spoken by himself. On such occasions, he used to introduce himself afresh to reinforce his resolve to stand by his word. We saw it in Moses encounter with God to prepare him to appear before the people of Israel in Egypt to prepare their mind to leave Egypt to begin their journey to Canaan, a place of liberty and fulfillment of destiny. ‭”Moses said to God, “Suppose I go to the Israelites and say to them, ‘The God of your fathers has sent me to you,’ and they ask me, ‘What is his name?’ Then what shall I tell them?” God said to Moses, “I am who I am. This is what you are to say to the Israelites: ‘I am has sent me to you.’ ”
Exodus 3:13-14.

Now Cyprus as a king was prepared and used by God to terminate the bondage of the people of Israel in the land of Babylon. Though he was a heathen king, God touched and moved him to decree the rebuilding of the temple in Jerusalem which marked the beginning of the return of the people of God and their restoration to the land God gave to their ancestors. “In the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, in order to fulfill the word of the Lord spoken by Jeremiah, the Lord moved the heart of Cyrus king of Persia to make a proclamation throughout his realm and also to put it in writing: “This is what Cyrus king of Persia says: “ ‘The Lord, the God of heaven, has given me all the kingdoms of the earth and he has appointed me to build a temple for him at Jerusalem in Judah. Any of his people are among you may go up to Jerusalem in Judah and build the temple of the Lord, the God of Israel, the God who is in Jerusalem, and may their God be with them.” Ezra 1:1-3.

Today, the Lord is reminding you that his words and promises are dependable in every generation. Whatever promises he made to you through his written word, prophecy or divine encounters, he is able to bring to pass. Most times things God tells us when we walk with him sounds difficult if not impossible to bring to pass, but by his own authority, he is able to do all things. Today, the Lord is reminding you that he has chosen you to be his own and has honoured you already with his own name as a father. You are a member of his family and household and therefore all that belongs to him as God has become yours by inheritance as an heir of God and joint heir with Jesus through the channel of faith. “Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: “Cursed is everyone who is hung on a pole.” He redeemed us in order that the blessing given to Abraham might come to the Gentiles through Christ Jesus, so that by faith we might receive the promise of the Spirit.” ‭Galatians 3:13-14.

Prayer :Thank you Father God for making me your own and honouring me with your great and prestigious name. Thank you because every word and promises you have spoken into my life you are able to bring to pass in Jesus wonderful name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Being Salt And Light

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Monday July 8th, 2024.

Topic : Being Salt And Light.

Memory Verse :‭Matthew 5:16. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.

Bible Reading : ‭Matthew 5:13-15 NIV‬. Key Verse : v14.

“You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot. “You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house.

Jesus Christ was on the mountain side when a large crowd came after him and he therefore took time to teach about life and the kingdom. At this point, he was talking to those who wants to live their lives to honour him. He began by letting them know that those who will follow his ways will suffer persecution in the hands of them that hate God and his righteousness. But that they should understand that it has been so from time because even the Prophets of old like Jeremiah and others suffered hatred and persecution for delivering messages given them by God to the people. “Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.” Matthew 5:11-12.

After that, he began to let them know that his followers need to understand that we are salt in the world. When you spend money to cook good food, the food will be tasteless if you don’t add salt and you won’t be able to appreciate your investment in preparing such a dish. Salt helps to strike the right balance for you to get the right taste in every dish you prepare. Jesus compared the believer to salt that brings out the flavour and beauty of humanity through our lifestyle of love by the help of the Spirit. “Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.” 1 Corinthians 13:4-7.

He made understand that we are light in a dark world. Light is beautiful and makes us see clearly and walk in the right direction. When we walk in light, we can’t fall into a ditch or step on dangerous objects. So light provides proper and secure direction in life. Light provides understanding too because it illuminates our minds and helps us take right decisions being armed with right knowledge and informations. As a city set on a hill, we should live as role models in all we do.

Prayer : Thank you Father God for making me salt to add the right flavour to the lives of others. Thank you for making me light to illuminate my world win your glory. Help me to live to fulfill your purpose in Jesus wonderful name….. Amen 🙏🏿.
