Memory Verse: John 4:30. Hearing this, the people came streaming out of the village to go see Jesus.

Bible Reading : John 4:27-29 TPT. Key Verse : v29.

At that moment the disciples returned and were stunned to see Jesus speaking with the Samaritan woman. Yet none of them dared to ask him why or what they were discussing. All at once, the woman dropped her water jar and ran off to her village and told everyone, “Come and meet a man at the well who told me everything I’ve ever done! He could be the Anointed One we’ve been waiting for.”

Jesus was on a journey with his disciples and he was hungry and tired. So he was taking some rest by the well of Jacob while his disciples went into town to get some food. This particular Samaritan woman came to fetch water at the well. Jesus picked interest in her and asked her to help him with some water to drink. This woman turned Jesus down because she was a Samaritan while Jesus was Jewish. “Surprised, she said, “Why would a Jewish man ask a Samaritan woman for a drink of water?” Jesus replied, “If you only knew who I am and the gift that God wants to give you—you’d ask me for a drink, and I would give to you living water.” The woman replied, “But sir, you don’t even have a bucket and this well is very deep. So where do you find this ‘living water’? Do you really think that you are greater than our ancestor Jacob who dug this well and drank from it himself, along with his children and livestock?” John 4:9-12.

At this point Jesus began to tell her about a spiritual water that he gives to men which never runs dry. That caught her interest and she demanded for such water that will become a living spring in her spirit man unto eternity. “but if anyone drinks the living water I give them, they will never thirst again and will be forever satisfied! For when you drink the water I give you it becomes a gushing fountain of the Holy Spirit, springing up and flooding you with endless life!” The woman replied, “Let me drink that water so I’ll never be thirsty again and won’t have to come back here to draw water.” Jesus said, “Go get your husband and bring him back here.” “But I’m not married,” the woman answered. “That’s true,” Jesus said, “for you’ve been married five times and now you’re living with a man who is not your husband. You have told the truth.” John 4:14-18.

This revelation of her deep secrets by Jesus Christ shook her to her bones and she knew she had met a man who wasn’t ordinary. She didn’t waste time to establish that Jesus was the expected Messiah. At this discovery, she left her water jar and ran back to town to tell people who cared to listen that he had seen the Messiah and that he told her everything about herself which were her deep secrets. As many as heard her followed her to come and see the master. They believed through her testimony. Today there are testimonies of God is your mouth that are to be used to bring men to Jesus. The harvest is much with limited labourers. Use your testimonies of the wondrous acts of God in your life to labour and draw men to Jesus the master. Testimonies are strong weapons of warfare to win battles and also draw men to know the Lord. “If people are ashamed of me and of my teaching, then the Son of Man will be ashamed of them when he comes in his glory and in the glory of the Father and of the holy angels.” Luke 9:26 GNB.

Prayer : Thank you Lord Jesus for for saving me as to use me to reach out to others. Thank you for every testimony of your mighty acts in my life. Help me to use such to war and win souls into your kingdom. Your investment of grace in my life will never be in vain in Jesus precious name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Kingdom Greatness.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Friday July 26th, 2024.

Topic : Kingdom Greatness.

Memory Verse : James 4:6. But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble. KJV

Bible Reading : Matthew 18:2-4 TPT. Key Verse : v3.

Jesus called a little one to his side and said to them, “Learn this well: Unless you dramatically change your way of thinking and become teachable, and learn about heaven’s kingdom realm with the wide-eyed wonder of a child, you will never be able to enter in. Whoever continually humbles himself to become like this gentle child is the greatest one in heaven’s kingdom realm.

At this point in time, the disciples of Jesus Christ came to him to find out what it takes to be great in the kingdom. As men they nursed the desire or ambition for greatness or doing great things in the kingdom. The master then brought a child and set before them and explained to them that if anyone must be great in the kingdom, he must walk before the Lord with mentality of a child. I want to believe that that wasn’t what they expected as a response, but that was what they got. This agrees with the fact that God doesn’t approach issues or measure things the way men do. “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.” Isaiah 55:8-9 KJV.

Jesus was just trying to let them and ourselves know first that the things of the kingdom of God is regulated by the principle of GRACE and not struggles and unhealthy ambitions. In accessing grace, all we need is to meet God’s conditions for anything we desire from him and we shall have such. Grace doesn’t make us robots, rather it helps us to understand our inability to get there without God himself, so that we learn to lean on him and not our human understanding of how it should be done. God designed grace to tame man and his pride in personal achievements because of his efforts. You know that a child hardly do anything for himself, rather he humbly submits to the leadership of the parents with a simple heart, who takes responsibility for his general wellbeing as well as provides all he needs to succeed.

Another dimension to what Jesus taught them through the child is that men become great before the Lord only when they have teachable spirit. The child trusts his/her parents unwaveringly to a fault. They can take the instructions of their parents to the bank anyday and anytime. Children are very plyable because they are learners. We can see that demonstrated in the life of father Abraham. He followed God like a child without settling with God where the destination of the journey he was undertaking must be. This obedience from a simple heart paid off. When God commanded him to go to Mount moriah and offer Isaac the one and only son of promise, he didn’t argue, but obeyed. The more he followed the leading of the Lord, the higher he was climbing in the spirit, till he became the earthly father of all who believes before the Lord. “That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies; And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice.”

Genesis 22:17-18 KJV.

Prayer :Thank you Father God for whom you love, you instruct. Help me to always follow you humbly like a child. Let me obey your instructions from a simple heart without doubts because of my confidence in you. Thank you for leading me in the paths of greatness in Jesus precious name…… Amen 🙏🏿.

Receive The Touch Of God

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Thursday July 25th, 2024.

Topic : Receive The Touch Of God.

Memory Verse :‭ Luke 13:13. Then he put his hands on her, and immediately she straightened up and praised God.

‭Luke 13:10-12 NIV‬. Key Verse : v10.

On a Sabbath Jesus was teaching in one of the synagogues, and a woman was there who had been crippled by a spirit for eighteen years. She was bent over and could not straighten up at all. When Jesus saw her, he called her forward and said to her, “Woman, you are set free from your infirmity.”

There’s something special about the word of God. The word always carry power because they are not ordinarily. Anytime we share the word in any platform or environment, we saturate such platform or environment with the power of God that can do all things “The Holy Spirit is the one who gives life, that which is of the natural realm is of no help. The words I speak to you are Spirit and life. But there are still some of you who won’t believe.” John 6:63 TPT. The Holy Spirit is the enforcer of God’s word, agenda or will earth. He is the Spirit of life. Anytime we share the word of God, we with others, we bring everything happening around them under the control of the power of God. If they can have understanding and receive such word with faith in what God can do, they will be able to access the intervention of God that rewrites stories. “And it came to pass on a certain day, as he was teaching, that there were Pharisees and doctors of the law sitting by, which were come out of every town of Galilee, and Judaea, and Jerusalem: and the power of the Lord was present to heal them.” Luke 5:17 KJV.

Coming to the woman we read her story, grace found her on that particular Sabbath day when she encountered Jesus in his mercy. Having suffered under the wickedness of the enemy for about 18 years, she must have adjusted everything about her life to adapt to her condition. It is possible that she was in the synagogue in order to have access to men who could give her alms to survive on and not just to be healed. So, the healing she receved from the Lord was out of the lovingkindness of Jesus Christ and not her own efforts. Maybe the family had tried to help her at the initial stage of her predicament, but when their efforts failed to yield results, they left her to survive through men that came to the synagogue. In the course of Jesus teaching on that very day, heaven opened on her behalf and she got a miracle she didn’t solicit for. “How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.” Acts 10:38 KJV.

There are people reading this who are going through challenges in different areas of their lives that Jesus wants to use this medium to address their situation and give them a change (healing and restoration) without struggles. The Spirit of God is always watching over his word words to perform them. If your heart is open and you trust God for any miracle, am joining my faith with yours to demand for a release of your heart desires now in the name of Jesus. Hear this now. ‭“Truly I tell you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. “Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven.” Matthew 18:18-19. As believers, we will always prevail when we agree with each other even for his intervention in difficult situations. ‭“ ‘If you can’?” said Jesus. “Everything is possible for one who believes.” Mark 9:23.

Prayer :Thank you Father God for going out of your way to locate me this day. Thank you because no situation is able to escape the power in your word. Now I command…… (mention the situation) to leave and come back no more in Jesus wonderful name. Thank you Lord Jesus for giving me a miracle in Jesus wonderful name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

The Prevailing Life.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Wednesday July 24th, 2024.

Topic : The Prevailing Life.

Memory Verse : John 1:5. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

Bible Reading : John 1:1-4 KJV. Key Verse : v4.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men.

There are portions of the scripture that are very deep, to the extent that sometimes we lack words in the vocabularies of men to explain them. The above verses are one of such. Having said so, I will attempt by the help of the Spirit to explain these verses in the context of our topic, ‘the prevailing life’. Something happened not long after man was created by God and given a helpmate. Both of them was placed in Eden to tend the garden and to live by the resource God made available to them conditionally. Satan in his furry was full of envy because of the status and placement of man, having lost his own placement and status in heaven out of his rebellion. In his rage and determination to destroy, having been doomed, he came for man who was enjoying the light and life of God in fullest measure. Man fell to his bags of tricks as Eve led her husband to eat the forbidden fruit, thereby going contrary to the conditions and terms of their stay in Eden. The resultant effect was that man was cut off from the source of life and light and sent away permanently from physical Eden which is a place of God’s presence. That was the fall.

Now God needed to restore man to a place of fellowship with himself which the fall tampered with. This was an assignment beyond the capacity of any angel. He therefore had to humbly come over here to the earth by himself through the word. That is how the word became flesh to live among men in order that he may recreate the things Satan succeed in destroying in the relationship that existed between God and man at the beginning of all things. The choice of the word was strategic because that was where the creative power and the very life and light of God resided. That was just all man needed to be restored, that is the life and light of God. The life is that dimension that makes man be, act and respond to God as his replica. That is the dimension of semblance with good even in reasoning. That is the reason Apostle Paul could write in 1 Corinthians 2:15-16 that we have have the mind of Christ and therefore can discern or judge all things. That is a mindset of discernment just like the creator himself which affords us a different dimension in perceptions. “Those who live in the Spirit are able to carefully evaluate all things, and they are subject to the scrutiny of no one but God. For Who has ever intimately known the mind of the Lord Yahweh well enough to become his counselor? Christ has, and we possess Christ’s perceptions.” 1 Corinthians 2:15-16 TPT.

Another thing that Christ restored to us through redemption is the light which the enemy tampered with. When men don’t have light, they grope or live confused and without right direction. That’s the reason some men are comfortable in, absurdities like same sex marriage, etc., all forms of evil and wickedness because they don’t have light. When you come into that light, you will know and people around you will testify of visible changes in your personal life and perceptions. On a very important note, I must point out here that we should not stop our journey of faith at the point of walking in the light or being children of light and enjoying the blessings it affords. We need rather to make progress or mature to a point where we become the light as demanded by the master himself. At that point, ourselves begins to illuminate environments and territories. “Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.”

Matthew 5:14-15.

Prayer :Thank you Father God for all you did in your son to restore me to a life of fellowship with you. Help me life by your Spirit always to live like you. Let me walk in your light till I become the light so that I can illuminate my environment and territory for you in Jesus wonderful name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Faithfulness

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Tuesday July 23rd, 2024.

Topic : Faithfulness.

Memory Verse : ‭Luke 12:44. Truly I tell you, he will put him in charge of all his possessions.

Bible Reading : ‭Luke 12:41-43 NIV‬. Key Verse : v43.

Peter asked, “Lord, are you telling this parable to us, or to everyone?” The Lord answered, “Who then is the faithful and wise manager, whom the master puts in charge of his servants to give them their food allowance at the proper time? It will be good for that servant whom the master finds doing so when he returns.

Jesus Christ was teaching about the need to live conscious of his imminent return in order for men to live prepared to receive him, since he will return to reward his faithful servants and judge those who vowed that he will never rule over them. The fact that Jesus Christ who was received into the heavens in the presence of his disciples is coming back again is not negotiable. As many as think they don’t need him in their lives will regret rejecting him and his work of grace when it will be too late. That is a time when there will be no room to make amends. ‭”“What should we do then?” the crowd asked. ohn answered, “Anyone who has two shirts should share with the one who has none, and anyone who has food should do the same.” Even tax collectors came to be baptized. “Teacher,” they asked, “what should we do?” “Don’t collect any more than you are required to,” he told them. Then some soldiers asked him, “And what should we do?” He replied, “Don’t extort money and don’t accuse people falsely—be content with your pay.”” Luke 3:10-14.

As for believers we have to live with the understanding that there are things the Lord committed to our care in his kingdom. And that how we will treated at his return will be determined by how we handle those things. There are things Jesus wants to do in every generation. Because he has given the earth to man, he can’t come and do those things by himself. Even his angels on assignment are helpless, except men align with God. He therefore depends heavily on ordinary men like us to get his tasks accomplished daily in the lives of men here on earth. That is the reason he asked us to occupy till he returns. “He said therefore, A certain nobleman went into a far country to receive for himself a kingdom, and to return. And he called his ten servants, and delivered them ten pounds, and said unto them, Occupy till I come.” Luke 19:12-13 KJV.

Every child of God has been endowed by the Spirit of God resident in us to be useful and productive in his mighty hands. This becomes possible only when we consciously pay attention to what the master has given us as to make them active and functional in order to deploy them to use. We have a responsibility to discover whom we are and the area the Lord desires we should be a blessing to others. When we are intentional about it, the Spirit will always be there to help us. Every man’s reward will be determined by how faithful we were in handling those things the Lord in his wisdom committed to our care. Today find out who you are before God and the value you should be adding to his kingdom wherever you are. Your faithfulness in handling those things will determine your promotion or rising in the kingdom. On a very important note, same faithfulness will be the yardstick that will determine your reward at the end your journey. ““The first one came and said, ‘Sir, your mina has earned ten more.’ “ ‘Well done, my good servant!’ his master replied. ‘Because you have been trustworthy in a very small matter, take charge of ten cities.’” Luke 19:16-17.

Prayer : Thank you Father God for saving my soul and counting me worthy to represent you here on earth. Help me to to be faithful in everything you committed to my care in your kingdom. Thank you because your Spirit will always be there to help me in Jesus precious name… Amen 🙏🏿.

Prevailing By The Word.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Monday July 22nd, 2024.

Topic : Prevailing By The Word.

Memory Verse :‭1 Corinthians 2:4. My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit’s power,

Bible Reading : ‭2 Corinthians 4:3-5 NIV‬. Key Verse: v5.

And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing. The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. For what we preach is not ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, and ourselves as your servants for Jesus’ sake.

Everything that God intends to do for man he decided to package in his son Jesus Christ who is the word made manifest in the flesh. When man couldn’t stand on his feet after creation, God saw a need to change his strategy in his dealings with man. He had come to man by himself through his son in order to help man out of his mess. Any man that must receive anything worthwhile from God in this dispensation therefore must follow God’s prescribed approach. Any man who needs to receive from God must come through Jesus Christ in order to enjoy express divine attention. “For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. For it is written: “I will destroy the wisdom of the wise; the intelligence of the intelligent I will frustrate.” Where is the wise person? Where is the teacher of the law? Where is the philosopher of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of the world? For since in the wisdom of God the world through its wisdom did not know him, God was pleased through the foolishness of what was preached to save those who believe.” 1 Corinthians 1:18-21.

One of the reasons people linger in their problems for too long is because they are not willing to follow Jesus Christ in order to be made. They just want to solve their problems and continue their lives the way themselves wants without being careful about what Christ himself wants in their lives. They desire to have it from God on their own terms and not the terms of the giver. Some challenges of life are permitted by God to let us see our limitations as men so that we can draw nearer to God and lean on his strength for him to see us through. Anyone whose heart is not totally open to the gospel truth therefore cannot receive much from the Lord. The Spirit is able to work out solutions and answers in the lives of men to the extent they open their heart to the message of the cross. “I came to you in weakness with great fear and trembling. My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit’s power,” 1 Corinthians 2:3-4.

Today we have to learn to always open our hearts to receive the gospel truth. Everything we need from God is packaged in his word. As we expose ourselves to the ministry of the word of God constantly, the Lord will be doing great things in our lives by the power in his word. I heard a man of God warn that it’s dangerous to follow men who can manifest power without the word or message of the cross, and I want to agree with him because there are many sources to power as we can see today. As you stay on the word, you will wake up to discover that those things that looked difficult and seemingly impossible becomes easy and the challenges around you are nowhere to be found. On a final note, I must not forget to tell you that one thing that makes the word most effective in your life and mouth is obedience
““Is not my word like fire,” declares the Lord, “and like a hammer that breaks a rock in pieces?”

Jeremiah 23:29.

Prayer : Thank you Father God for the power in your word. Help me to stay on your word and to obey them always. By the power in your word, let my life be fllled with your interventions and glory daily in Jesus wonderful name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Prevailing Over The Enemy.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Sunday July 21st, 2024.

Topic : Prevailing Over The Enemy.

Memory Verse :‭Romans 8:37. No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. NIV

Bible Reading :Ephesians 6:10-11 TPT. Key Verse: v10.

Now my beloved ones, I have saved these most important truths for last: Be supernaturally infused with strength through your life-union with the Lord Jesus. Stand victorious with the force of his explosive power flowing in and through you. Put on God’s complete set of armor provided for us, so that you will be protected as you fight against the evil strategies of the accuser!

One of the reasons we need to pay attention to and build up our spiritual lives is to be able to overcome in the battles we face daily in the course of life endeavours. This battles are not with ordinary men, but with very organises hordes of darkness. Truth is that no man has what it takes to conquer the devil on his own. God knowing all things therefore has given us his strength to use in this regard. That is the reason Apostle Paul had to point out to us that we have what it takes to face and overcome the enemy only when we approach the enemy on the strength of our union with Christ Jesus. This union makes available to us divine power or ability and wisdom that the enemy cannot match. Because the enemy is very intentional and strategic in his approach, it takes only the wisdom of God to defeat him. “Your hand-to-hand combat is not with human beings, but with the highest principalities and authorities operating in rebellion under the heavenly realms. For they are a powerful class of demon-gods and evil spirits that hold this dark world in bondage.” Ephesians 6:12.

This confrontation is real weather we know about it or not. Men easily become victims when they choose to live in self denial. The spirits involved are rebels who have nothing to loose. They know that themselves are doomed already and therefore have nothing to loose anymore. They fight like spoilers which makes them more deadly and wicked. To face and overcome them therefore, we need to follow the prescriptions of the Spirit of God who provides us with superior strategies that neutralises whatever the enemy think he has in stock. “Because of this, you must wear all the armor that God provides so you’re protected as you confront the slanderer, for you are destined for all things and will rise victorious. Put on truth as a belt to strengthen you to stand in triumph. Put on holiness as the protective armor that covers your heart. Stand on your feet alert, then you’ll always be ready to share the blessings of peace. In every battle, take faith as your wrap-around shield, for it is able to extinguish the blazing arrows coming at you from the Evil One!” Ephesians 6:13-16.

“Embrace the power of salvation’s full deliverance, like a helmet to protect your thoughts from lies. And take the mighty razor-sharp Spirit-sword of the spoken Word of God. Pray passionately in the Spirit, as you constantly intercede with every form of prayer at all times. Pray the blessings of God upon all his believers. And pray also that God’s revelation would be released through me every time I preach the wonderful mystery of the hope-filled gospel.” Ephesians 6:17-19. All the weapons we are asked to muster or arm ourselves with are bound together by prayer. This means that prayer is what makes them effective and functional. In v20, he made it very clear that the enemy desires is to hinder the free flow of the gospel. The reason he does that is because he is aware that therein lies the salvation of mankind from his evil control. “Yes, pray that I may preach the wonderful news of God’s kingdom with bold freedom at every opportunity. Even though I am chained as a prisoner, I am his ambassador.” Ephesians 6:20.

Prayer :Thank you Lord Jesus because you are the head of principalities and powers. Thank you because no power of darkness can overcome a man who lives in union with you. Help me to always follow the strategies of your Spirit to live in perpetual victory all my days in Jesus wonderful name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Be A Soul Winner

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Saturday July 20th, 2024.

Topic : Be A Soul Winner.

Memory Verse : ‭Luke 19:1. For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.” NIV.

The Passion Translation Luke 15:4-6 TPT. Key Verse : v4.

“There once was a shepherd with a hundred lambs, but one of his lambs wandered away and was lost. So the shepherd left the ninety-nine lambs out in the open field and searched in the wilderness for that one lost lamb. He didn’t stop until he finally found it. With exuberant joy he raised it up and placed it on his shoulders, carrying it back with cheerful delight! Returning home, he called all his friends and neighbors together and said, ‘Let’s have a party! Come and celebrate with me the return of my lost lamb. It wandered away, but I found it and brought it home.’”

Jesus was God, but came down voluntarily to the earth as a man for this primary purpose of seeking lost men and restoring them to himself. The people who witnessed his days on earth knew he was from God, but they had issues with the way he mingled with sinners. They thought he shouldn’t expose himself to certain people especially sinners. They became uncomfortable the way he embraced and related with them. Because they complained among themselves, he made efforts to let them understand the importance God attached to the soul of every single sinner. He used some parable to explain his stand with the sinners. ‭”“Suppose one of you has a hundred sheep and loses one of them. Doesn’t he leave the ninety-nine in the open country and go after the lost sheep until he finds it?” Luke 15:4 NIV‬.

Many people don’t understand the value God placed on their soul. Jesus here likened God to a shepherd who had a hundred sheep, but one got lost probably by straying in the wilderness where were pastured. The shephered had to keep the remaining 99 in safe custody so that he could find the one that strayed away. He didn’t return till he found the missing sheep. When he had found the lost sheep, he returned with joy to celebrate the one recovered sheep with his friends and loved ones. ‭”And when he finds it, he joyfully puts it on his shoulders and goes home. Then he calls his friends and neighbors together and says, ‘Rejoice with me; I have found my lost sheep.’ I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent.” Luke 15:5-7 NIV‬.

Today there lost souls around you and all over the places Jesus intends to reach. He intends to search them out wherever the enemy had taken them to. Jesus is present here on earth physically through our humble selves. There are numerous people who are lost in sin that the Lord intends to use us and reach out to, as his own body. “But how can people call on him for help if they’ve not yet believed? And how can they believe in one they’ve not yet heard of? And how can they hear the message of life if there is no one there to proclaim it? And how can the message be proclaimed if messengers have yet to be sent? That’s why the Scriptures say: How welcome is the arrival of those proclaiming the joyful news of peace and of good things to come!” Romans 10:14-15. Make sure you share the love of God that made Jesus die to save us with someone today. Remember that wise men engage in soul winning activities.

Prayer :Thank you Lord Jesus for saving me so that you can use me to reach out to others. Use me to reach out to the lost as you will and as I make myself available to be used. Thank you Lord Jesus for restoring lost men to yourself through my humble efforts in Jesus precious name… Amen 🙏🏿.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Friday July 19th, 2024.

Topic : Humility And Grace.

Memory Verse : James 4:10 Be willing to be made low before the Lord and he will exalt you!

Bible Reading : James 4:6-8. Key Verse : v6.

But he continues to pour out more and more grace upon us. For it says, God resists you when you are proud but continually pours out grace when you are humble.” So then, surrender to God. Stand up to the devil and resist him and he will turn and run away from you. Move your heart closer and closer to God, and he will come even closer to you. But make sure you cleanse your life, you sinners, and keep your heart pure and stop doubting.

Humility is a very important Christian virtue that we learn from the life of Jesus Christ himself. When one is humble, it means that such an individual is not proud, but lives a modest lifestyle and doesn’t overate him/herself. When we are humble, we become considerate, teachable, approachable. Humble men live to impact others through service, sacrices of time and resources, etc. Humility is not low esteem, but a good understanding of our limitations as humans and seeing a reason to carry others along our placements notwithstanding. Jesus displayed humility from the point of coming down to live on earth as a man the fact that he is God and creator notwithstanding. He lived among men in weakness, though he had divine power to do whatever he wanted per time, yet he willingly submitted to the will of the father. His life looked so simple that it took Judas hugging and kissing him among the disciples for those who came to arrest him to identify him. ‭”In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus: Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage;” Philippians 2:5-6 NIV‬.

Now everything we do with God through Jesus in his kingdom is by grace. Grace is God’s investment in man made possible by the sacrifice of Jesus himself. Now v6 of our main text is saying that the more we are able to humble ourselves before God, the more he is able to invest more of his grace in our lives. The more grace we enjoy from his presence, the better our lives becomes here on earth. This is because humility makes us more accessible to God and men which helps us become impactful as a result of being yielded to God and willing to be used as channels to fulfill his purpose, even in the lives of others here on earth. ““I am a true sprouting vine, and the farmer who tends the vine is my Father. He cares for the branches connected to me by lifting and propping up the fruitless branches and pruning every fruitful branch to yield a greater harvest.” John 15:1-2.

The more we move closer to God, the more he is able to expose our weaknesses and those things that hinders the flow of his Spirit in our lives who is the carrier of grace in us. We have to willingly allow his Spirit to work on us to eliminate those things that doesn’t glorify God in our lives which is key to our lifting to a place higher kingdom responsibility. “Move your heart closer and closer to God, and he will come even closer to you. But make sure you cleanse your life, you sinners, and keep your heart pure and stop doubting. Feel the pain of your sin, be sorrowful and weep! Let your joking around be turned into mourning and your joy into deep humiliation. Be willing to be made low before the Lord and he will exalt you!” James 4:8-10.

Prayer : Thank you Father God for loving and saving my soul. Help me to walk before you in humility all the days of my life so that you can invest greater grace in my life. Let your Spirit expose and help me to do away with anything that will hinder the flow of your grace in my life in Jesus precious name… Amen 🙏🏿.

Follow Him To Be Made.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Thursday July 18th, 2024.

Topic :Follow Him To Be Made.

Memory Verse :‭Luke 9:59. He said to another man, “Follow me.” But he replied, “Lord, first let me go and bury my father.”

Bible Reading : Luke 9:60-62 NIV‬. Key Verse :v62

Jesus said to him, “Let the dead bury their own dead, but you go and proclaim the kingdom of God.” Still another said, “I will follow you, Lord; but first let me go back and say goodbye to my family.” Jesus replied, “No one who puts a hand to the plow and looks back is fit for service in the kingdom of God.”

At the beginning of the unfolding of this particular incident in the Bible, Jesus was walking along the way when someone came to him and voluntarily offered to follow him. But the man was there for the wrong reasons. There was no genuine intention to serve deep down inside him. He rather wanted to take advantage of Jesus life, personality and ministry to advance his personal interests. Jesus being God and therefore knowing all things turned him down. “As they were walking along the road, a man said to him, “I will follow you wherever you go.”Jesus replied, “Foxes have dens and birds have nests, but the Son of Man has no place to lay his head.”” Luke 9:57-58.

After that, they saw two other men whom Jesus had interest to work with closely in his earthly ministry. He therefore extended a call to them, so that they could follow him. The first excused himself because he wanted to pay a last respect to his own dead close one. But Jesus responding asked him to allow the dead to bury themselves. When he extend same call to service to another, that second individual sought permission again to go and say goodbye to his family and loved ones, then return to obey him. Jesus made him understand that in the kingdom, once you get involved, there’s no going back to settle any previous or hanging commitments anywhere. ““All these I have kept,” the young man said. “What do I still lack?” Jesus answered, “If you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.”When the young man heard this, he went away sad, because he had great wealth.” Matthew 19:20-22.

“And Jesus, walking by the sea of Galilee, saw two brethren, Simon called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea: for they were fishers. And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men. And they straightway left their nets, and followed him .” Matthew 4:18-20 KJV. Today we need to understand that there are many blesings in following Jesus Christ because some men are still giving him excuses. This they do because they lack understanding of what men stand to gain when they make sacrifices in order to follow the master. Now one important reason for which Jesus asks ordinary men like us to follow him is so that he can make us. Apart from giving us eternal life, there are things he wants to do in our lives, there are heights he wants to take us to in this life which we can’t attain on our own. That’s just one of the numerous gains in following the master. “God chose the lowly things of this world and the despised things—and the things that are not—to nullify the things that are, so that no one may boast before him.” 1 Corinthians 1:28-29.

Prayer : Thank you Lord Jesus for extending your call to me to follow you, so that you can make me. As I obey and follow unconditionally, let my life be a testimony that will attract others to you in Jesus wonderful name…. Amen 🙏🏿.
