Topic : He Will Always Come Through.

Memory Verse : ‭Job 12:21. He pours contempt on nobles and disarms the mighty.

Bible Reading : ‭Job 12:13-15 NIV‬. Key Verse : v14.

“To God belong wisdom and power; counsel and understanding are his. What he tears down cannot be rebuilt; those he imprisons cannot be released. If he holds back the waters, there is drought; if he lets them loose, they devastate the land.

Job was down and sick because God permitted the enemy to test his stand with him. He lost everything that made him the wealthiest in the east at that point in time in history in a day. It was as if the ocean of troubles broke loose over him and his household. He lost all he had including his children and business investments in day, as one bad news filtered in after another till he was left with nothing except his wife. Not only that, the enemy struck him with boils to the extent that he lived in his shadows. Everything around him began to stink and work contrary. Even his friends who came trying to help became another burden as they misunderstood what was going on. They suspected Job to have lived in secret sin to deserve what he was going through because God can never be unjust. ‭”Oh, how I wish that God would speak, that he would open his lips against you and disclose to you the secrets of wisdom, for true wisdom has two sides. Know this: God has even forgotten some of your sin.” Job 11:5-6.

In Job’s response from where we took our text, we see deep wisdom. There’s a dimension of God that no man will ever comprehend because he does whatever pleases and glorifies himself in any given situation. No power he created can stand him because they all serve his purpose here on earth, not even in the heavens. He has the final say in every situation we find ourselves. Nothing can challenge his authority. “What he tears down cannot be rebuilt; those he imprisons cannot be released. If he holds back the waters, there is drought; if he lets them loose, they devastate the land. To him belong strength and insight; both deceived and deceiver are his. He leads rulers away stripped and makes fools of judges.” Job 12:14-17.

We need to learn to humble ourselves before the Lord always knowing that we can’t change anything he does, neither is there anyone that can deliver from his hands. Wisdom demands that we live to seek his face and to please him knowing that everything we are looking in life that is good is found in him. His love, just and faithful nature should help us build our trust unshakeably in him just like Job himself. Though Job couldn’t understand what was happening to him, he had enough trust in God that kept his hope in him alive all the days of his adversity. Because he was calm and submissive to God even in the midst of his troubles, heaven came through for him at last. ‭‭”The Lord blessed the latter part of Job’s life more than the former part. He had fourteen thousand sheep, six thousand camels, a thousand yoke of oxen and a thousand donkeys. Nowhere in all the land were there found women as beautiful as Job’s daughters, and their father granted them an inheritance along with their brothers.” Job 42:12, 15.

Prayer :Thank you Father God because of your most loving, faithful and just nature that cannot fail. Thank you because as a father, you always come through for your children. Thank you because your promises gives me peace in the midst of trouble. I bless you for giving me all round victory today in Jesus wonderful name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Favour That Lifts And Restores

Sunday August 25th, 2024.

Topic : Favour That Lifts And Restores

Memory Verse :2 Samuel 9:5. Then king David sent, and fetched him out of the house of Machir, the son of Ammiel, from Lodebar.

Bible Reading : 2 Samuel 9:1-3. Key Verse : v1.

And David said, Is there yet any that is left of the house of Saul, that I may shew him kindness for Jonathan’s sake? And there was of the house of Saul a servant whose name was Ziba. And when they had called him unto David, the king said unto him, Art thou Ziba? And he said, Thy servant is he. And the king said, Is there not yet any of the house of Saul, that I may shew the kindness of God unto him? And Ziba said unto the king, Jonathan hath yet a son, which is lame on his feet.

David and Jonathan were blossom friends. From the first day God lifted David from being an ordinary shepherd boy in Israel to a national hero and he began to live in the palace of king saul, he had a connection with Jonathan. They loved each other, shared much in common and God used Jonathan to protect the interest of David in the palace and to preserve him from the ragings of king Saul. “And it came to pass, when he had made an end of speaking unto Saul, that the soul of Jonathan was knit with the soul of David, and Jonathan loved him as his own soul. And Saul took him that day, and would let him go no more home to his father’s house. Then Jonathan and David made a covenant, because he loved him as his own soul.” 1 Samuel 18:1-3.

The love and kindness of Jonathan was what saved David from the schemes of king Saul, who was out to bring him down to pave way for his son Jonathan to ascend the throne of Israel after him, but God had a different plan. When every efforts to stop David through dangerous assignments didn’t get him out of the way, Saul wanted to track him down during the new moon celebration when it was mandatory that all the officials of the palace including David should dine together with the king. “And David said unto Jonathan, Behold, to morrow is the new moon, and I should not fail to sit with the king at meat: but let me go, that I may hide myself in the field unto the third day at even. If thy father at all miss me, then say, David earnestly asked leave of me that he might run to Bethlehem his city: for there is a yearly sacrifice there for all the family. If he say thus, It is well; thy servant shall have peace: but if he be very wroth, then be sure that evil is determined by him.” 1 Samuel 20:5-7. Through the spying mission of Jonathan to the father, it was discovered that King Saul really wanted to eliminate David. Jonathan had to help him flee to safety.

This time after David prevailed and entered into God’s plan for his life to be king over Israel, he remembered the love and kindness Jonathan showed him that preserved his life and made his glorious destiny possible. He came out then to appreciate and honour his friend who was dead and gone. He wanted to know if there was anyone left alive in the house of Saul to bless because of his relationship with Jonathan. Now when Ziba the chief servant of Saul was brought on, he revealed that Jonathan still had a son who was alive but lame. That was how the journey of unsolicited recovery and sudden change begin the life of Mephiboshet. That was how he left Lodeba to eat at the table of king David the rest of his life. Not only that, all the properties of late king Saul was restored him. Today, the Lord will cause men that matters to remember you for good reasons. Every good seed of love and kindness you sowed selflessly in the past will begin to produce in the name of Jesus.

Prayer :Thank you Father God for your glorious plan for my life that cannot be truncated. Today, cause men that matters to remember me for good. Let favour usher me into unsolicited blessings. Let every seed of love and kindness I sowed into the lives of other men begin to yield in the might name of Jesus…. Amen 🙏🏿.

The call To Priesthood.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Saturday August 24th, 2024.

Topic : The call To Priesthood.

Memory Verse : 1 Peter 2:6. For the scripture says: “I chose a valuable stone, which I am placing as the cornerstone in Zion; and whoever believes in him will never be disappointed.”

Bible Reading : 1 Peter 2:3-5 GNB Key Verse: v 5.

As the scripture says, “You have found out for yourselves how kind the Lord is.” Come to the Lord, the living stone rejected by people as worthless but chosen by God as valuable. Come as living stones, and let yourselves be used in building the spiritual temple, where you will serve as holy priests to offer spiritual and acceptable sacrifices to God through Jesus Christ.

God has given the earth to man to rule from the beginning of all things in the book of Genesis 1:26-30. When the human race fell short of his standard in keeping this place of rulership because of sin, he sought for and found a remedy in Jesus Christ who paid with his blood to redeem man from rebellion (sin) and the captivity of the evil one. Now men who are qualified to fill this position of authority are those who follow God’s plan for restoration to his original plan for man by faith in Jesus, who paid for the sin of mankind with his blood of atonement. Through such men God is building a new earthly kingdom of men who will stand to enforce his will and manifest his glory from every tribe, race, language, colour and nations of the earth. These men are going to be game changers wherever they find themselves in their generation by the help of the Spirit of God at work in their lives. Acts 1:8.

This is all about the call into priesthood, which is always a product of maturity in this new covenant. That’s the reason Apostle Peter writing said that first of all we have to deal with stuffs that becomes a weight on us or an encumbrance, as men who carry weights are not able to move, compete or fight freely in any life engagement, no matter the angle from which you view it. This maturity is what qualifies us to handle sensitive kingdom ambassadorial issues as we are able to operate with knowledge and understanding which is needed if we must bear much fruits. “I am the real vine, and my Father is the gardener. He breaks off every branch in me that does not bear fruit, and he prunes every branch that does bear fruit, so that it will be clean and bear more fruit. My Father’s glory is shown by your bearing much fruit; and in this way you become my disciples.” John 15:1-2,8.

Now, I want us to note the fact that we have become lively stones after the master himself who is the chief corner stone. This means that the life of God is at work in us to enable us function before him unhindered. This is also about the quality of life we received from him which determines what we are able to do, a life that is as solid as stone and therefore unbreakable by the enemy, circumstances and his evil tide that destroy ordinary men. Because we are like the master, any power that is audacious enough to counter us must stumble and fall for our sake, as we stand in unity to enforce God’s will over our localities and the nations of the earth. “For the scripture says: “I chose a valuable stone, which I am placing as the cornerstone in Zion; and whoever believes in him will never be disappointed.” This stone is of great value for you that believe; but for those who do not believe: “The stone which the builders rejected as worthless  turned out to be the most important of all.” And another scripture says: “This is the stone that will make people stumble, the rock that will make them fall.”They stumbled because they did not believe in the word; such was God’s will for them.” 1 Peter 2:6-8.

Prayer :Thank you Father God for choosing me in my generation to serve and represent you on earth. Help me to hear the call for maturity and responsibility as to key into your glorious plan. Thank you for making me a success story with you in Jesus precious name… Amen 🙏🏿.

Uncommon Favour And Alevation.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Friday August 23rd, 2024.

Topic: Uncommon Favour And Alevation.

Memory Verse :1 Samuel 10:7. When these things happen, do whatever God leads you to do.

Bible Reading : 1 Samuel 10:4-6 GNB. Key Verse : v6.

They will greet you and offer you two of the loaves, which you are to accept. Then you will go to the Hill of God in Gibeah, where there is a Philistine camp. At the entrance to the town you will meet a group of Prophets coming down from the altar on the hill, playing harps, drums, flutes, and lyres. They wil be dancing and shouting. Suddenly the Spirit of the Lord will take control of you, and you will join in their religious dancing and shouting and will become a different person.

The people of Israel demanded for a king from the Lord at this point in history. Samuel was very uncomfortable with their demand which was unusual at that point in time. But God asked him to allow them have their way because they were insistent. In response to the demands made on God by his people, he set up Saul for a meeting with Samuel, so that he could be identified and anointed King over Israel. What began as an ugly incident, turned around to become a turning point for Saul and his father’s house as they ended up producing the first king that ruled Israel. Saul had to go on a search mission with his servant for the lost assess of his father. When they couldn’t make any find the lost, they opted to visit Samuel the seer to seek his assistance. “The servant answered, “Wait! In this town there is a holy man who is highly respected because everything he says comes true. Let’s go to him, and maybe he can tell us where we can find the donkeys.”” 1 Samuel 9:6.

When they finally met Samuel, things they never bargained for began to happen. God had prepared Samuel for that very meeting the previous day.” Now on the previous day the Lord had said to Samuel, “Tomorrow about this time I will send you a man from the tribe of Benjamin; anoint him as ruler of my people Israel, and he will rescue them from the Philistines. I have seen the suffering of my people and have heard their cries for help.” When Samuel caught sight of Saul, the Lord said to him, “This is the man I told you about. He will rule my people.”” 1 Samuel 9:12-14. Saul saw himself dining with the great and mighty for the first time in his life, where he was given a special treat as one that will soon be unveiled as king over Israel. While with Samuel he discovered that his life and status had changed suddenly. He left from that meeting a changed person as God began to confirm his words over him through the mouth of Samuel.

What happened was that Saul walked into uncommon favour. God arranged his lifting by himself. Saul never solicited to become anything in Israel at that point in time. He must have been like a man that dreamt that particular day. From that very day everything about him wore a new look. Men he never knew began to bless him with unsolicited loaves of bread. Because his life life and status had changed as the Spirit of God took over him, he began to prophesy when he met the company of prophets as predicted by Samuel, till people who had known him before began to ask questions about the sudden transformation. Today you are contacting the oil of uncommon, transformational and unsolicited favour. This grace will turn situations that looked like disappointment to divine appointment. What looked like very ugly situation is turning around to a glorious testimony. It is your season for uncommon alevation. Now hear this for yourself…..”When these things happen, do whatever God leads you to do.” 1 Samuel 10:7.

Prayer :Thank you Father God because promotion comes not from the east or west, but from you. Thank you for every disappointment I ever experienced in life is turning around to divine appointment in my life. Thank you Father God because from now henceforth, I shall be celebrated in Jesus wonderful name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

You Need The Holy Spirit

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Thursday August 22nd, 2024.

Topic: You Need The Holy Spirit.

Memory Verse : John 16:15. Everything that belongs to the Father belongs to me—that’s why I say that the Divine Encourager will receive what is mine and reveal it to you.

Bible Reading ‘ John 16:12-14 TPT. Key Verse: v12.

“There is so much more I would like to say to you, but it’s more than you can grasp at this moment. But when the truth-giving Spirit comes, he will unveil the reality of every truth within you. He won’t speak his own message, but only what he hears from the Father, and he will reveal prophetically to you what is to come. He will glorify me on the earth, for he will receive from me what is mine and reveal it to you.

When Jesus Christ lived on earth as a man, he came for a purpose and that regulated everything he did while on earth. By the time his work of preparing for his early disciples for the work that laid ahead of them was done, he began to prepare their mind for the next phase of his assignment. They were very uncomfortable with the fact that he was about to leave to return to the father. They enjoyed his presence and wanted the party with the most popular man that ever live to continue. Because they were sorrowful, Jesus began to let them understand first that his going was to prepare a place for them and those that will believe through their work, so that they can also be with him and the end of their earthly journey. “My Father’s house has many dwelling places. If it were otherwise, I would tell you plainly, because I go to prepare a place for you to rest. And when everything is ready, I will come back and take you to myself so that you will be where I am.” John 14:2-3.

All he was saying didn’t make much sense to them because of the pain of loosing his physical company. Now he had to take a step further to assure them that once he is gone, he will ask the father to send the Holy Spirit to continue with them from where he stopped. That was the reason they had to wait in the place of prayer right there in the upper room till they were filled. From that day, everything about the early disciples changed. Where they lacked boldness, they received it to the point that Peter who denied Jesus when he was about to be crucified, boldly stood to defend the gospel and preached the message of his life at Pentecost, and about three thousand souls were taken into the kingdom in a sweep. ““Then God exalted him to his right hand upon the throne of highest honor. And the Father gave him the authority to send the promised Holy Spirit, which is being poured out upon us today. This is what you’re seeing and hearing!” Acts 2:33.

Even in our own days the Holy Spirit is still at work to keep us company through the journey of life. He is here to teach us things of the kingdom, so that we can have understanding. He is the revealer of all things that are true from the presence of the father. His presence in our lives is a promise kept, as he provides us comfort through his timely instructions in every situation we find ourselves. Today we need to realise that the greatest gift God gave man outside Jesus who died for our sins is his Spirit. We have to value his presence and take best advantage of him to have a good life. In doing this, we have to overcome every distractions and laziness as to develop a close walk with him. This will certainly make our lives less stressful and more productive is every department through the wisdom of God he makes available to us daily, when we walk with him. “When your lives bear abundant fruit, you demonstrate that you are my mature disciples who glorify my Father!” John 15:8.

Prayer :Thank you Lord Jesus for keeping your promise and giving me your Spirit to live by. Help me to build a close relationship with your Spirit in my daily life. Thank you for making my life most fruitful and rewarding in Jesus precious name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Following With Understanding.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Wednesday August 21st, 2024.

Topic : Following With Understanding.

Memory Verse : Luke 22. You will eat and drink at my table in my Kingdom, and you will sit on thrones to rule over the twelve tribes of Israel.

Bible Reading : Luke 22:27-29 GNB. Key Verse : v29.

Who is greater, the one who sits down to eat or the one who serves? The one who sits down, of course. But I am among you as one who serves. “You have stayed with me all through my trials; and just as my Father has given me the right to rule, so I will give you the same right.

This time, Jesus Christ was rounding up his earthly ministry, as the time of his crucifixtion drew nearer. Now, the disciples wanted to know who should be the greatest person among them as they stayed together. He tried to let them know that greatness the kingdom way is measured by service rendered and not the one received. Unlike in the natural world, the greatest among God’s people are not men who sit down for men to serve them, but those who humbly stay up to make sure that the need of other brethren are attended to. Jesus taught us a life of service by example. “After Jesus had washed their feet, he put his outer garment back on and returned to his place at the table. “Do you understand what I have just done to you?” he asked. “You call me Teacher and Lord, and it is right that you do so, because that is what I am. I, your Lord and Teacher, have just washed your feet. You, then, should wash one another’s feet. I have set an example for you, so that you will do just what I have done for you.” John 13:12-15.

Now Jesus began to open their eyes to a very important understanding they needed to have which mattered most above who should be ranked ahead of the other among the disciples. That is the fact that all he received from the father he had given to his followers. This becomes possible when we walk faithfully with him in thick and in thin, when it works and when it seems not to work just the way we desire as men. This faithfulness to the master and the ability to partake of his trials without complaining is what qualifies us to share in his glory in our lifetime. “God’s Spirit joins himself to our spirits to declare that we are God’s children. Since we are his children, we will possess the blessings he keeps for his people, and we will also possess with Christ what God has kept for him; for if we share Christ’s suffering, we will also share his glory. I consider that what we suffer at this present time cannot be compared at all with the glory that is going to be revealed to us.” Romans 8:16-18.

From today, live with the understanding that the right to rule over everything created by God as given to Jesus Christ by the father has been permanently delegated to you as a child of God. You were born into the royal family of God in the Spirit so that you might be equipped to rule over nature, circumstances, your environment or territories, etc. To that extent the enemy and those who represent him on earth doesn’t have what it takes to control things around you, except you permit them to do so out of ignorance, negligence, carelessness and stuffs like that. “And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.” Matthew 16:18-19 KJV.

Prayer :Thank you Lord Jesus for what you have done for me. Thank you for delegating the authority to bear rule over every creature and situations to me here on earth, just the same way it was given to you by the father. I begin to live to manifest this authority in everything I do all my days in Jesus wonderful name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Give No Room To The Enemy.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Tuesday August 20th, 2024.

Topic : Give No Room To The Enemy.

Memory Verse :Jeremiah 33:3.“Call to me, and I will answer you; I will tell you wonderful and marvellous things that you know nothing about.

Bible Reading : 2 Chronicles 32:19-21 GNB. Key Verse: v20.

Then King Hezekiah and the prophet Isaiah son of Amoz prayed to God and cried out to him for help. The Lord sent an angel that killed the soldiers and officers of the Assyrian army. So the emperor went back to Assyria disgraced. One day when he was in the temple of his god, some of his sons killed him with their swords. In this way the Lord rescued King Hezekiah and the people of Jerusalem from the power of Sennacherib, the emperor of Assyria, and also from their other enemies. He let the people live in peace with all the neighbouring countries.

This time Sennacherib king of Assyria came up against Judah and laid seige over it’s fortified or fenced cities to weaken as to fight the people of God. Now he began to extend his tentacles to Jerusalem the seat of power scheming their fall. Their build up was very intimidating as to inflict the people of God with fear and panic, so that they could overun them. But King Hezekiah of Judah was a man that walked with God and therefore wasn’t afraid of the moves of the enemy. He began to build confidence in his armies by reason of what he knew God could do in order to and deliver his own people from the hands of formidable foes. “The king strengthened the city’s defences by repairing the wall, building towers on it, and building an outer wall. In addition, he repaired the defences built on the land that was filled in on the east side of the old part of Jerusalem. He also had a large number of spears and shields made. He placed all the men in the city under the command of army officers and ordered them to assemble in the open square at the city gate. He said to them,” 2 Chronicles 32:4-5.

“Be determined and confident, and don’t be afraid of the Assyrian emperor or of the army he is leading. We have more power on our side than he has on his. He has human power, but we have the Lord our God to help us and to fight our battles.” The people were encouraged by these words of their king.” 2 Chronicles 32:6-7. Even when the king of Assyria gathered intelligence and discovered that the confidence and strength of Judah rested on their God, he went further to try watering down their resolve, faith and trust in God by trying to compare them with nations that served idols whom they had defeated because they served idols. “When did any of the gods of all those countries ever save their country from us? Then what makes you think that your god can save you? Now don’t let Hezekiah deceive you or mislead you like that. Don’t believe him! No god of any nation has ever been able to save his people from any Assyrian emperor. So certainly this god of yours can’t save you!”” 2 Chronicles 32:13-14.

Now I want us to observe closely the mind game Sennacherib was trying to play on the people of God, so that he could break down their confidence in God, without which it won’t be easy for him to fight Judah not to talk of defeating them. The Bible says that we shouldn’t be ignorant of the fact that the devil always employ devices to weaken men as to conquer them. He cannot get you except he is able to get you out of the place of your safety tied unshakeable faith in the Lord. He will want you remove your mind from what you know God can do and focus on what himself does as to weaken and wear you out in your inner man. But Hezekiah was smarter and knew also how to take advantage of divine messengers. When he got Isaiah the prophet involved and God took the battle to the place of prayer, God took care of the boaster in evil and wickedness by himself. Now hear the wise one…. “Pay attention to what I say, my child. Listen to my words.
Never let them get away from you. Remember them and keep them in your heart.

They will give life and health to anyone who understands them. Be careful how you think; your life is shaped by your thoughts .” Proverbs 4:20-23.

Prayer :Thank you Father God because you are most dependable. I rest my faith in what you can do and refuse to be intimidated by the rage of the enemy. A Heart To Carry Great blessings

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Monday August 19th, 2024.

Topic : A Heart To Carry Great blessings.

Memory Verse :‭1 Samuel 16:12. So he sent for him and had him brought in. He was glowing with health and had a fine appearance and handsome features. Then the Lord said, “Rise and anoint him; this is the one.”

Bible Reading : ‭1 Samuel 16:6-7 NIV‬. Key Verse: v7.

When they arrived, Samuel saw Eliab and thought, “Surely the Lord’s anointed stands here before the Lord.” But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. The Lord does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.”

After God rejected Saul from continuing to be King over his people of Israel, Samuel was in pain because of his love for Saul and the Israelites and mourned before the Lord. Unknown to Samuel the man of God, God had already found a man who had the type of mindset king Saul lacked, which led to his failure to lead his own people. “The Lord said to Samuel, “How long will you mourn for Saul, since I have rejected him as king over Israel? Fill your horn with oil and be on your way; I am sending you to Jesse of Bethlehem. I have chosen one of his sons to be king.” But Samuel said, “How can I go? If Saul hears about it, he will kill me.” The Lord said, “Take a heifer with you and say, ‘I have come to sacrifice to the Lord.’ Invite Jesse to the sacrifice, and I will show you what to do. You are to anoint for me the one I indicate.”” ‭1 Samuel 16:1-3.

When Samuel arrived at the place of sacrifice with Jesse and his sons, it was time for the real business of that day. At the request of Samuel Jesus began to present his sons before Samuel. At the appearance of Eliab, Samuel felt that he had seen the young man who had what it will take to lead the people of God into the next phase in nation building. He was about to commit a blunder by anointing the wrong person when God stopped him by speaking to reveal his mind to Samuel. Samuel as man of God was in the house of Jesse looking for a man with the right appearance, while the Spirit of God was there looking the guy who had the right mindset this time to lead his people. “Then Jesse called Abinadab and had him pass in front of Samuel. But Samuel said, “The Lord has not chosen this one either.” Jesse then had Shammah pass by, but Samuel said, “Nor has the Lord chosen this one.” Jesse had seven of his sons pass before Samuel, but Samuel said to him, “The Lord has not chosen these.”” 1 Samuel 16:8-10.

‭”So he asked Jesse, “Are these all the sons you have?” “There is still the youngest,” Jesse answered. “He is tending the sheep.” Samuel said, “Send for him; we will not sit down until he arrives.” So he sent for him and had him brought in. He was glowing with health and had a fine appearance and handsome features. Then the Lord said, “Rise and anoint him; this is the one.”” 1 Samuel 16:11-12. One of the challenges in the body of Christ today is that many are asking for things they don’t have the right mindset or heart to carry. From today, when you are praying for great kingdom blessings, be they spiritual or material, ask also for the right heart before the Lord that can carry such blessing. God is more interested in a man having the right heart, than releasing the blessing in hurry, to avoid negative consequences in the future. The right mindset will always speed up answer to our prayers.

Prayer :Thank you Father God because it is your will to bless me beyond measure. Today I ask that you create in me the right heart that you can entrust with great kingdom spiritual and maternal riches. Thank you Lord for hearing me always in Jesus precious name….. Amen 🙏🏿.

Having Jesus As Your Partner.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Sunday August 18th, 2024.

Topic : Having Jesus As Your Partner.

Memory Verse : ‭John 6:20. But he said to them, “It is I; don’t be afraid.”

Bible Reading : ‭John 6:16-18 NIV‬. Key Verse: v18.

When evening came, his disciples went down to the lake, where they got into a boat and set off across the lake for Capernaum. By now it was dark, and Jesus had not yet joined them. A strong wind was blowing and the waters grew rough.

Jesus and his disciples had just been through a hectic day, ministering to the people all day and feeding them with both spiritual and physical food. After that, he sent his disciples to the other side of the lake and stayed back to recharge in the place of prayer, intending to join them when he’s done. While on sea, the disciples encountered difficult times because of unfavourable sailing conditions. ‭”A strong wind was blowing and the waters grew rough. When they had rowed about three or four miles, they saw Jesus approaching the boat, walking on the water; and they were frightened. But he said to them, “It is I; don’t be afraid.”” John 6:18-20.

Though Jesus wasn’t in the boat physically with the disciples, he knew when they were encountering unfavourable sailing conditions that could wreck their expedition. He knew when they were going through what they couldn’t handle on their own therefore needed help. He was there for them at the right time. Because it was night, when they saw him walking on water towards them, they became afraid thinking it was a ghost. Himself knowing their thoughts spoke up to calm their tensed minds by assuring them that it was himself showing up to help them out. Now note the fact that he didn’t need to struggle to control nature here. His presence alone was enough to take care of the situation and restore normalcy. ‭ “But he said to them, “It is I; don’t be afraid.” Then they were willing to take him into the boat, and immediately the boat reached the shore where they were heading.” John 6:20-21.

Today understand that one of the best and mosr valuable asset you can have in your lifetime is to build a relationship with Jesus Christ. Your relationship and partnership with him in life guarantees you of his intervention anytime need arises. You will notice in the account we read, there were no mobile phones to inform the master of what befell them on the sea, yet he came looking for them at the right time. Again, his presence in your life and whatever you do secures you and your investments. His presence was the game changer that made nature and everything on that day to begin to work in favour of that particular journey again. Their struggles, fears, delays and frustrations ended in a matter of moments and they got to the shores finally because his intervention. ‭”But now, this is what the Lord says— he who created you, Jacob, he who formed you, Israel: “Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze. For I am the Lord your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior; I give Egypt for your ransom, Cush and Seba in your stead.” Isaiah 43:1-3.

Prayer :Thank you Lord Jesus for loving me and becoming my partner in the journey of life. From today, let your presence in my life become very visible for all to see by reason of results and your mighty interventions in Jesus wonderful name…. Amen 🙏🏿.
