Topic :Believe God For A Change.

Memory Verse :1 Samuel 1:11. Hannah continued to pray to the Lord for a long time, and Eli watched her lips.

1 Samuel 1:5-7 GNB. Key Verse: v6.

And even though he loved Hannah very much he would give her only one share, because the Lord had kept her from having children. Peninnah, her rival, would torment and humiliate her, because the Lord had kept her childless. This went on year after year; whenever they went to the house of the Lord, Peninnah would upset Hannah so much that she would cry and refuse to eat anything.

The situation sister Hannah found herself here wasn’t palatable at all. She was childless in her marriage, not of her own making but because it was from the Lord. The husband, brother Elkanah showed much understanding, but the taunting and mockery coming from her co-wife Peninnah was unbearable as she made life miserable for her in the marriage daily. When all her efforts to get pregnant as a woman didn’t work, she knew there is a God who has what it takes to do all things. Now they had gone to the house of God in Shiloh to perform their Yearly sacrifice before the Lord. Hanah went a heavy heart and decided to stay back when every other person had gone, so that she could talk to God who has the final say in every matter. “One day, after they had finished their meal in the house of the Lord at Shiloh, Hannah got up. She was deeply distressed, and she cried bitterly as she prayed to the Lord. Meanwhile, Eli the priest was sitting in his place by the door.” 1 Samuel 1:9-10.

Hanah knew she had what is needed to affect the change unto herself in the place of prayer. She therefore seized the opportunity provided by their Yearly pilgrimage to Shiloh to wait before the Lord with a broken heart. She didn’t want any distractions, she waited for every other person to leave so that she could be alone with God. She prayed earnestly from the depths of her heart to the extent that the man of God Eli mistook her to be drunk. “Hannah continued to pray to the Lord for a long time, and Eli watched her lips. She was praying silently; her lips were moving, but she made no sound. So Eli thought that she was drunk, and said to her, “Stop making a drunken show of yourself! Stop your drinking and sober up!” “No, I’m not drunk, sir,” she answered. “I haven’t been drinking! I am desperate, and I have been praying, pouring out my troubles to the Lord.” 1 Samuel 1:11-14.

Today it doesn’t matter what difficult situations you are going through. I don’t know the person mocking or taunting you because of situations you can’t really help. The right person to fall back on when things go beyond your control is the one who formed you in your mother’s womb as well as brought you here not to ridicule, but make you. The God we serve handles difficult cases in most simple ways when we have faith. The man of God only spoke a word into the life of Hanah in Shiloh. “Don’t think I am a worthless woman. I have been praying like this because I’m so miserable.” “Go in peace,” Eli said, “and may the God of Israel give you what you have asked him for.” “May you always think kindly of me,” she replied. Then she went away, ate some food, and was no longer sad .”1 Samuel 1:15-17. She believed and therefore received from God. Her faith was demonstrated by the fact that she wasn’t sad or heavy anymore. She went home eating and rejoicing. This day I join my faith with you for every difficult and lingering matter be settled now so that you glorify God.

Prayer : Thank you Father God because with you all things are possible. I come through the blood of Jesus today and plead for your mercy and intervention in…….. (mention the case or cases). I thank you for I know that you have answered me today. I rejoice in victory and return all glory to you in Jesus wonderful name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Leveraging On The Srenght Of God.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Wednesday September 4th,2024.

Topic: Leveraging On The Srenght Of God.

Memory Verse : Exodus 34:14..“Do not worship any other god, because I, the Lord, tolerate no rivals.

Bible Reading : 1 Chronicles 14:11-13 GNB. Key Verse : v13.

So David attacked them at Baal Perazim and defeated them. He said, “God has used me to break through the enemy army like a flood.” So that place is called Baal Perazim. When the Philistines fled, they left their idols behind, and David gave orders for them to be burnt. Soon the Philistines returned to the valley and started plundering it again.

If you look at old testatment closely and follow the history of wars between the people of Israel, the Philistines and other heathen nations. If you watch closely, you will discover that the secret of the Israelites was the true and living God in their camp, who made sure their enemies were subdued before them. When God was revealing himself to the people of Israel, he made them know that he is the true and living God who cannot be seen with ordinary eyes. He revealed himself not only as a Spirit, but father of all spirits. Jesus told the woman by the well in John chapter 4 that God is capital SPIRIT, so men who must do business with him must explore the channels of the Spirit of truth. Watching closely again, you will observe that all the nations God consumed before the Israelites and gave them their territorues were idol worshippers which made them labour under divine judgement.

Men of old understood that life is spiritual. That’s the reason they never went to war without carrying their gods alongside for spiritual strength. Now the enemies of David never wanted him to ascend the throne. Once that happened, they picked offense and came to fight him by the strength of their gods. David on his path never went into any battle without consulting the living God for direction. After David defeated the Philistines, he made sure the idols they took to confront the wrong person was burnt because they couldn’t stand the presence of the God of Israel. They quickly regrouped after the first defeat. David went back to God for fresh directives. Once more David consulted God, who answered…. , “Don’t attack them from here, but go round and get ready to attack them from the other side, near the balsam trees. When you hear the sound of marching in the treetops, then attack, because I will be marching ahead of you to defeat the Philistine army.””. 1 Chronicles 14:14.-15.

As we are trusting God to end the year on a strong note, we need to stay away from anything that incures the wrath of God. As children of God we must know there are enemies, who will never want God’s plan for our lives to materialise. They pretend to be friends, but work against God’s purpose for our lives. Again, we should take full advantage of the Holy Spirit in everything we do. God is interested in every details of our lives and therefore is always willing to guide us when we give him the opportunity to do so, just like king David. Though he was a man of war, he always depended on God for directives and not just on his experience or expertise. “He will keep the feet of his saints, and the wicked shall be silent in darkness; for by strength shall no man prevail. The adversaries of the LORD shall be broken to pieces; out of heaven shall he thunder upon them: the LORD shall judge the ends of the earth; and he shall give strength unto his king, and exalt the horn of his anointed.” 1 Samuel 2:9-10 KJV.
—————————————-.
Prayer : Thank you Father God for being interested in every details of my life. As I learn to consult you in all I do, give me results that will put my fear in the camp of my enemies in Jesus wonderful name… Amen 🙏🏿.

Take Advantage Of The Help Of God.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Tuesday September 3rd, 2024.

Topic : Take Advantage Of The Help Of God.

Memory Verse : Psalms 121:5. The Lord will guard you; he is by your side to protect you.

Bible Reading : Psalms 12:1-4 GNB. Key Verse : v3.

I look to the mountains; where will my help come from? My help will come from the Lord, who made heaven and earth. He will not let you fall; your protector is always awake. The protector of Israel never dozes or sleeps.

God created man to be interdepent on each other. This means that every man on earth needs something that the person by his side has which himself lacks. That’s the reason they say that no man can exist in isolation, just like an island. Now men has limitations in what we can do for each other. This is where the God factor comes in, to bridge the gap of limitations. I remember reading a book about the men who were able to breakthrough in life from their humble background to make something good and great out of their lives. These men had something in common about their success stories which the book referred to as the God factor. This means that it was not all about their human intelligence or input. Rather, there came a time in their lives God showed up for them and changed the game in their favour.

The Psalmist was a man who enjoyed the mercies and help of the Lord in his lifetime. He came to limelight in the first place by the mercies and help of the almighty. Nobody gave him a chance of emerging king over Israel at expense of his brothers who looked more qualified in the eyes of men. The father was about to give up after everyone he deemed fit to be presented was rejected. It was the probing question of the man of God that made the father remember that himself was out their tending the sheep. At different stages from the time he was in hiding from being killed by an angry king Saul to the time he officially became king, the mercies and help of God preserved him. “They said to him, “This is your chance! The Lord has told you that he would put your enemy in your power and you could do to him whatever you wanted to.” David crept over and cut off a piece of Saul’s robe without Saul’s knowing it.” 1 Samuel 24:4.

As we enter the beginning of the the end of the year. Remember that the Lord is always there and ever ready to help you in any area of your life where you need it. One factor that will be of help is that you have to live your life to please him as to keep enjoying his favour which will secure his help in your favour at any point in time. Another factor that will help is that you should cultivate a relationship and keep communicating with him. The relationship and channel of communication you build with him is a demonstration of the fact that your eyes are fixed on him. That will be a platform for you to always show appropriation, even as you present your needs. Never you forget that no man walking with God fails in life.

Prayer :Thank you Father God because you always care about me. I appreciate you because your love for me is not in doubt. As I look upto you in everything I do, let there be proofs of your presence in all my endeavours in Jesus wonderful name….. Amen 🙏🏿.

The Power Of A Praying Man

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Monday September 2nd, 2024.

Topic : The Power Of A Praying Man.

Memory Verse : 1 Kings 18:41. And Elijah said unto Ahab, Get thee up, eat and drink; for there is a sound of abundance of rain.

Bible Reading : 1 Kings 18:42-44 KJV. Key Verse : v42.

So Ahab went up to eat and to drink. And Elijah went up to the top of Carmel; and he cast himself down upon the earth, and put his face between his knees, And said to his servant, Go up now, look toward the sea. And he went up, and looked, and said, There is nothing. And he said, Go again seven times. And it came to pass at the seventh time, that he said, Behold, there ariseth a little cloud out of the sea, like a man’s hand. And he said, Go up, say unto Ahab, Prepare thy chariot, and get thee down, that the rain stop thee not.

The secret behind the power of God that followed the ministry of Elijah was prayer. When he locked the heavens from giving neither rain nor dew, his only credential that he dangled was his ability to stand before God in prayer. Because he knew what it means to stand before God and influence things, he was able to convince heaven to withhold rain and dew from his territory till anytime he desired. His stand before God gave him control over things happening in that territory. This means that the power of prayer cannot be over emphasised. “Then Jesus told his disciples a parable to teach them that they should always pray and never become discouraged. “In a certain town there was a judge who neither feared God nor respected people. And there was a widow in that same town who kept coming to him and pleading for her rights, saying, ‘Help me against my opponent!’” Luke 18:1-3 GNB.

After drought ravaged the land for about three and a half years, Elijah that disappeared, appeared on the scene again to prove the power of God to the people, so that they could return to their God and source whom they neglected to follow idols. After dealing with the prophets of Baal on Mount Camel, he turned to the place of prayer to change the order of drought and famine. When he bent his head in between his knees, he was talking to God to unlock the heavens while he sent his servant to keep checking till they could see some sign of rain in the sky. When he got that confirmation from his servant he was bold enough to announce what he was hearing in the spirit. Already he was hearing a sound of rain roaring in the spirit and kept demanding that it becomes a reality in the physical. Because he insisted, heaven had to suspend every delays and obliged him.

In our days, the Lord still answers prayers. We as people of God must return to the place of prayer if we want to see changes in any direction in life. What Elijah did yesterday, we will be able to do today if we can pay the price of waiting in prayer before the Lord. In our main text we see a man who couldn’t take no for answer. He was consistent in sending his servant as he prayed to enforce the manifestation of what he was hearing in the spirit. “Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective. Elijah was a human being, even as we are. He prayed earnestly that it would not rain, and it did not rain on the land for three and a half years. Again he prayed, and the heavens gave rain, and the earth produced its crops.” James 5:16-18 NIV‬.

Prayer :Thank you Father God because you still answer prayers made in faith. In my days, anoint me afresh to pray down your will over my life, family and territory in Jesus precious name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Understanding Divine Timing And Season

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Sunday September 1st 2024.

Topic :Understanding Divine Timing And Season.

Memory Verse : Philippians 4:4. Be cheerful with joyous celebration in every season of life. Let joy overflow, for you are united with the Anointed One!

Bible Reading : Philippians 4:5-7 TPT. Key Verse : v6.

Let gentleness be seen in every relationship, for our Lord is ever near. Don’t be pulled in different directions or worried about a thing. Be saturated in prayer throughout each day, offering your faith-filled requests before God with overflowing gratitude. Tell him every detail of your life, then God’s wonderful peace that transcends human understanding, will make the answers known to you through Jesus Christ.

We live in a world as well as function in a kingdom regulated by time and seasons. Everything God does on earth is subject to his own timing therefore and not that of any other entity. When we pray, we activate his visitation that comes in seasons; but not many are able to identify them as to key in and take maximum advantage of such seasons of change for the betterment of their lives and situations. For example, there are things many people keep asking heaven for, sometimes when those things are released, they are blind to recognise them because they may not appreciate the way they came or their appearance. Just like the Jews who believe in the words of prophecy about the coming of Jesus, but couldn’t accept him when he finally arrived on the scene. To them, such Messiah shouldn’t come from such a humble background (a carpenter’s son born in a menger instead of a palace). “To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;” Ecclesiastes 3:1-3 KJV.

One of the reasons we experience unnecessary delays in life, even as children of God sometimes is not because God doesn’t answer prayers and on time too, but because most time we are not able to identify with his timing and moves or we get distracted as to pay attention to the right things but at wrong times. Sometimes, the answers we expect don’t have the appearance that we desire as men. At this point only men who can see and hear beyond our human senses can have an edge through discernment. You see, Naaman almost missed it because the way Elisha attended to him fell short of his expectations from that meeting after all the sacrifice of taking the journey to see him, even the instructions given didn’t seem to worth the efforts. But thank God he finally humbled himself to listen to his servants. He would have missed that season of visitation that brought healing and restoration.

Now, I want us to note that it takes humility and sensitivity to understand the moves of God in a man’s life. Devil uses pride to make many turn down good things God brings their ways because they are a type of work in progress and not the finished products they are looking for. When we lack sensitivity, we won’t be able to see beyond physical appearance which can always be very deceitful. Even Samuel would have been deceived by the appearance of Eliab when he went to the house of Jesse to anoint a king over Israel to replace Saul at the instructions of the Lord. “And it came to pass, when they were come, that he looked on Eliab, and said, Surely the LORD’S anointed is before him. But the LORD said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the LORD seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart.” 1 Samuel 16:6-7 KJV. As we enter a new month and a season of answers, pray that the Lord open you up to see and hear beyond the ordinary, so that you don’t miss any good thing or opportunities of divine change he is bringing your way in answer to your prayers. Anytime men miss such, they keep waiting for another season because of their own insensitivity because God is not an impostor (doesn’t force things on men).

Prayer: Thank you Father God because you answer prayers. From today, help me to be sensitive to your Spirit as to understand your timing and season in my life. Thank you for helping me not to miss your visitation this season in Jesus precious name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Take Advantage Of Divine Wisdom.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Saturday August 31st, 2024.

Topic : Take Advantage Of Divine Wisdom.

Memory Verse : 1 Corinthians 1:28. He chose what the world looks down on and despises, and thinks is nothing, in order to destroy what the world thinks is important.

Bible Reading : 1 Corinthians 1:29-31 GNB. Key Verse: v30.

This means that no one can boast in God’s presence. But God has brought you into union with Christ Jesus, and God has made Christ to be our wisdom. By him we are put right with God; we become God’s holy people and are set free. So then, as the scripture says, “Whoever wants to boast must boast of what the Lord has done.”

The good news of salvation through Jesus Christ is the best thing that happened to humanity. It sounds so sweet and simple that some people find it difficult to believe because of it’s simplicity. We lack words sometimes to explain the depth of love that moved God to give up Jesus Christ his only begotten son to die for the sins of the human race. His sacrifice becomes a game changer for us, when we believe. That is the height of the wisdom of God revealed, that by the preaching and acceptance of the work of the cross, sinners can become saints and ordinary men can become one with God Almighty. “For God in his wisdom made it impossible for people to know him by means of their own wisdom. Instead, by means of the so-called “foolish” message we preach, God decided to save those who believe. Jews want miracles for proof, and Greeks look for wisdom. but for those whom God has called, both Jews and Gentiles, this message is Christ, who is the power of God and the wisdom of God.” 1 Corinthians 1:21-22,23.

Salvation launches us into a life of union with the saviour himself. The implications of this union is that we now live a life of partnership with him. He becomes a factor in whatever we do or that happens to us as a stakeholder. This relationship redefines our lives as believers in entirety. At this point he gets involved in everything that concerns us, because of the union or partnership. This relationship is solidified by the presence of his Spirit, given to us as a mark of ownership (identity) or separation unto himself. “Let us, then, who were the first to hope in Christ, praise God’s glory! And you also became God’s people when you heard the true message, the Good News that brought you salvation. You believed in Christ, and God put his stamp of ownership on you by giving you the Holy Spirit he had promised. The Spirit is the guarantee that we shall receive what God has promised his people, and this assures us that God will give complete freedom to those who are his. Let us praise his glory!” Ephesians 1:12-14.

When we understand the implications of this new relationship with Christ, it makes our lives on earth easier and worthwhile. This means that we can’t be helpless or hopeless, but can always fall back on him in times of need as our creator and senior partner in the union or relationship we have with him. When you have understanding that he is involved anytime yourself is involved in any venture or situation, some pressures of life will disappear on their own because you are sure that he can never loose any battles. Truth is that he has gotten the victory already in every battles for us by the same finished work of the cross where his last word was “it is finished”. “Israel, the Lord who created you says, “Do not be afraid — I will save you. I have called you by name — you are mine.

When you pass through deep waters, I will be with you; your troubles will not overwhelm you. When you pass through fire, you will not be burnt; the hard trials that come will not hurt you. For I am the Lord your God, the holy God of Israel, who saves you. I will give up Egypt to set you free; I will give up Ethiopia and Seba.” Isaiah 43:1-3.

Prayer :Thank you Father God because of what you did did for me in Christ Jesus your son. Thank you for saving me and making me one with you. Thank you for giving me your Spirit as a mark of ownership. Thank you because I will never face life challenges alone anymore. Thank you for giving me victory in every battles of life in Jesus wonderful name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Dismantling Strongholds Of The Mind

God’s ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Friday August 30th, 2024.

Topic : Dismantling Strongholds Of The Mind.

Memory Verse :2 Corinthians 10:2. I beg you not to force me to be harsh when I come; for I am sure I can deal harshly with those who say that we act from worldly motives.

Bible Reading : 2 Corinthians 10:3-5 GNB. Key Verse: v5.

It is true that we live in the world, but we do not fight from worldly motives. The weapons we use in our fight are not the world’s weapons but God’s powerful weapons, which we use to destroy strongholds. We destroy false arguments; we pull down every proud obstacle that is raised against the knowledge of God; we take every thought captive and make it obey Christ.

Here we see Paul writing to address issues among the Corinthian believers whom he was nurturing in the faith. Anytime he wrote, he was very strict in addressing issues, but when he was present, he always applied a fatherly compassion in dealing with those issues and individuals. Some people was trying to mistake fatherly love he displayed anytime he was present for weakness. “I, Paul, make a personal appeal to you — I who am said to be meek and mild when I am with you, but harsh with you when I am away. By the gentleness and kindness of Christ. I beg you not to force me to be harsh when I come; for I am sure I can deal harshly with those who say that we act from worldly motives. It is true that we live in the world, but we do not fight from worldly motives.” 2 Corinthians 10:1-3.

Now Apostle Paul was trying to teach us that the work of correction in the kingdom is not about bullying men, but knowing the right approach which is more spiritual than physical. Now, we live in a world that is driven by knowledge. Men can be resourceful or useful tor the level or depth of the knowledge they have in any field in life. Now, one of the things that hinder men from making quality progress in life, especially in kingdom related issues is when men arm themselves with wrong knowledge which makes proud, arrogant and even unteachable sometimes. Such wrong information becomes strongholds in the lives of people holding on to them. A man like Paul in his past was a victim of such (holding on to obsolete knowledge), when he was trying to defend the beliefs of his fathers thereby working against the move of God or persecuting the early church out of ignorance till Christ arrested him to serve, being armed with the right knowledge after his encounter with the light of the world.

Today pray that as many of our loved ones and men around the world who are bound by the enemy through the spread of false arguments, phylosophies and doctrines of men which has kept them in some form of bondage will see the light of the true gospel anywhere they are located. Pray that the Lord will empower his workers around the world who are carrying the burden of spreading the true gospel. Pray that every knowledge, argument, errors from hell will collapse before them as they present the truth to their audience. Pray that the Lord begins to give them results that will cause men to identify with the truth they carry and submit to it. “So when I came to you, I was weak and trembled all over with fear, and my teaching and message were not delivered with skilful words of human wisdom, but with convincing proof of the power of God’s Spirit. Your faith, then, does not rest on human wisdom but on God’s power.” 1 Corinthians 2:3-5.

Prayer :Thank you Father God your Spirit of truth is the Spirit of conviction. Today I pray for every agent of the true gospel around the world. Let every lies and strongholds of wrong information binding men where they are located begin to collapse before them to your glory. Let light prevail over every form of darkness in the hearts of men in Jesus wonderful name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Take Your Miracle

LENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Thursday August 29th, 2024.

Topic : Take Your Miracle

Memory Verse :John 5:7. Jesus said to him, “Get up, pick up your mat, and walk.”

Bible Reading : John 5:5-7 GNB. Key Verse : v6.

A man was there who had been ill for 38 years. Jesus saw him lying there, and he knew that the man had been ill for such a long time; so he asked him, “Do you want to get well?” The sick man answered, “Sir, I have no one here to put me in the pool when the water is stirred up; while I am trying to get in, somebody else gets there first.”

One thing I love about Jesus Christ is that anywhere he entered, he turned things around in the lives of men for good. The Bible said that he went about changing negative stories to positive ones (doing good), simply because God was with him or he was standing in the centre of the will of God for his life. This particular season was festival period, so many people came around in Jerusalem for festivities. Jesus himself came for this particular man who had been under the yoke of paralysis for as long as 38 years. “After this, Jesus went to Jerusalem for a religious festival. Near the Sheep Gate in Jerusalem there is a pool with five porches; in Hebrew it is called Bethzatha. A large crowd of sick people were lying in the porches — the blind, the lame, and the paralysed.A man was there who had been ill for 38 years.”
38th years. John 5:1-4.

The first thing that
Jesus tried to deal with when he met this particular man was his perspective. Though he was very close to his miracle, he seemed to have given up hope of ever getting healed, he was living a life of surrender to defeat. He demonstrated submission to reality when he said that he had “no one” who could help him get into the pool anytime the pool was stired since he was handicapped. “Jesus saw him lying there, and he knew that the man had been ill for such a long time; so he asked him, “Do you want to get well?” The sick man answered, “Sir, I have no one here to put me in the pool when the water is stirred up; while I am trying to get in, somebody else gets there first.””John 5:5-6. At this point, Jesus wanted him to see things differently, not the hopelessness he had ever seen before that particular moment. But he was still being plagued by circumstances, as we can see his response of having no one.

This same Jesus anytime he is discussed as we are doing now, goes to work. Every discussion about what he does activates the manifestation of his physical presence. As many as are reading this who has been under any yoke or burden that have lasted for a long time, probably many years, the same Jesus is looking for you today, if you can see and feel him with your spiritual senses. He is asking you today, do you want to be made whole or can you see yourself healed already? Can you see the changes you desired and prayed for manifesting now? If you can see it with the eyes of faith, you have no business remaining where you used to be. It is time to take your bed and go home to a new life in victory. ‭”But this is what the Lord says: “Yes, captives will be taken from warriors, and plunder retrieved from the fierce; I will contend with those who contend with you, and your children I will save.” I will make your oppressors eat their own flesh; they will be drunk on their own blood, as with wine. Then all mankind will know that I, the Lord, am your Savior, your Redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob.”” Isaiah 49:25-26 NIV.

Prayer :Thank you Lord Jesus for coming to my rescue anytime I call upon you. Thank you because no man who put their trust in you will suffer shame. Thank you for taking over prolonged battles on my life and giving me victory now in Jesus wonderful name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

The Power Of Intercession

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS

Wednesday August 28th, 2024.

Topic : The Power Of Intercession.

Memory Verse : Genesis 18:17. And the LORD said, Shall I hide from Abraham that thing which I do;

Bible Reading : Genesis 18:18-20 KJV. Key Verse :v19.

Seeing that Abraham shall surely become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth shall be blessed in him? For I know him, that he will command his children and his household after him, and they shall keep the way of the LORD, to do justice and judgment; that the LORD may bring upon Abraham that which he hath spoken of him. And the LORD said, Because the cry of Sodom and Gomorrah is great, and because their sin is very grievous;

God appeared to Abraham on the plains of Mamre as three men (Father, Son and Spirit). They had quality time together as frieds. When God was leaving Manre and on his way to Sodom and Gomorrah, he decided to inform Abraham of what he was about to do, as a man whose heart is with God wholly, who followed hard after God in everything. “And the LORD said, Because the cry of Sodom and Gomorrah is great, and because their sin is very grievous; I will go down now, and see whether they have done altogether according to the cry of it, which is come unto me; and if not, I will know. And the men turned their faces from thence, and went toward Sodom: but Abraham stood yet before the LORD.” Genesis 18:20-22.

This information gave Abraham the opportunity to stand before God and intercede for Sodom and Gomorrah intending to make God spare the corrupt people of the land because of his nephew Lot who was there, at that point in time. “And Abraham drew near, and said, Wilt thou also destroy the righteous with the wicked? Peradventure there be fifty righteous within the city: wilt thou also destroy and not spare the place for the fifty righteous that are therein? That be far from thee to do after this manner, to slay the righteous with the wicked: and that the righteous should be as the wicked, that be far from thee: Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right? And the LORD said, If I find in Sodom fifty righteous within the city, then I will spare all the place for their sakes.” Genesis 18:23-26.

God in his faithfulness enjoyed Abraham while he lasted before him pleading the course of Sodom and Gomorrah in order to preserve the city as to save righteous Lot and his family. God didn’t at any point get tired of Abraham, till himself decided on his own to give up interceding. “And he said, Behold now, I have taken upon me to speak unto the Lord: Peradventure there shall be twenty found there. And he said, I will not destroy it for twenty’s sake. And he said, Oh let not the Lord be angry, and I will speak yet but this once: Peradventure ten shall be found there. And he said, I will not destroy it for tens sake. And the LORD went his way, as soon as he had left communing with Abraham: and Abraham returned unto his place.” Genesis 18:31-33. Because of his prayers, Lot and his family was rescued out of Sodom and Gomorrah though God couldn’t find ten righteous men in the land. Today God is still depending on us as his people to stand in the place of prayer and affect what happens in our generation. If we can pay the price of seeking his face, we shall find him and on time too. There are many things God wouldn’t do on earth, except we pray to make them happen.

Prayer : Thank you Father God for giving the earth to man to control. Thank you for restoring that which Adam lost through Jesus to mankind. As I stand before you, use me to shape things in my life, family, society and generation. Thank you for using me change things through prayers in Jesus wonderful name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Keys To Living A Covenant Life.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Tuesday August 27th, 2024.

Topic : Keys To Living A Covenant Life.

Memory Verse : Isaiah 51:3.“I will show compassion to Jerusalem, to all who live in her ruins. Though her land is a desert, I will make it a garden, like the garden I planted in Eden. Joy and gladness will be there, and songs of praise and thanks to me.

Bible Reading : ‭Isaiah 51:1-2 NIV‬. Key Verse : v1.

“Listen to me, you who pursue righteousness and who seek the Lord: Look to the rock from which you were cut and to the quarry from which you were hewn; look to Abraham, your father, and to Sarah, who gave you birth. When I called him he was only one man, and I blessed him and made him many.

There are things we do sometimes that provokes God’s goodness in our lives. There’s no man that the Lord loves above others, but some people has been able to warn themselves into the heart of the almighty by reason of how they respond to his love for all men and his efforts to gather all men unto himself, through his son Jesus Christ this end time. There are other set of people who made themselves enemies of God because they chose to walk in the paths of rebellion the commands of the Lord. In Isaiah 51:1, we will discover two things helps a man tap into the blessings of the Lord. They include those who pursue or run after righteousness. They take pleasure in it, they make it their lifestyle or way of life. It becomes their habitat. M”Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people.” Proverbs 14:34 KJV.

Another factor that will guarantee us enjoying divine favour always according to Isaiah 51:1 is a heart that is committed to seeking the Lord all the time. “But if from thence thou shalt seek the LORD thy God, thou shalt find him, if thou seek him with all thy heart and with all thy soul. When thou art in tribulation, and all these things are come upon thee, even in the latter days, if thou turn to the LORD thy God, and shalt be obedient unto his voice; (For the LORD thy God is a merciful God;) he will not forsake thee, neither destroy thee, nor forget the covenant of thy fathers which he sware unto them.” Deuteronomy 4:29-31 KJV. Seeking God involves trying to know what he wants us to do per time in any given situation and doing them when we have understanding.

This is key to walking in the covenant that God entered with our father Abraham and mother Sarah which is of divine blessing. “And the angel of the LORD called unto Abraham out of heaven the second time, And said, By myself have I sworn, saith the LORD, for because thou hast done this thing, and hast not withheld thy son, thine only son: That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies; And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice.” Genesis 22:15-18 KJV. As you make up your mind to pursue after righteousness and seek the Lord from the depths of your heart, you will be begin to walk in the reality of those whom God singles out for covenant walk and blessing in your days, just like he walked with Abraham and Sarah.

Prayer :Thank you Father God because you are the God that keepeth covenant. Give me a heart that loves righteousness and that is always hungry to seek and please you. Thank you for choosing me for higher blessings in my generation in Jesus wonderful name…. Amen 🙏🏿.
