Believe Jesus For A Miracle

Topic : Believe Jesus For A Miracle.

Memory Verse : Luke 17:14. When Jesus stopped to look at them, he spoke these words: “Go to be examined by the Jewish priests.” They set off, and they were healed while walking along the way.

Bible Reading : Luke 17:11-13 TPT. Key Verse: v13.

Jesus traveled on toward Jerusalem and passed through the border region between Samaria and Galilee. As he entered one village, ten men approached him, but they kept their distance, for they were lepers. They shouted to him, “Mighty Lord, our wonderful Master! Won’t you have mercy on us and heal us?”

In everything God does for any man, our faith is required. Many people are not able to receive from God sometimes because they lack the faith to pull the miracle they desire from God’s presence. Jesus was always anointed to minister solution to the problem of men, to the extent we are able to believe or trust him. If you watch the incident of these ten lepers closely, you will see Jesus Christ tell the leper who returned to give God glory that it was his faith that delivered the miracle to him. The emphasis was on the faith of the leper instead of the anointing of Jesus. This goes a long way to help us understand that what moves the hand of God on our behalf in any situation we find ourselves is our faith. “And without faith living within us it would be impossible to please God. For we come to God in faith knowing that he is real and that he rewards the faith of those who give all their passion and strength into seeking him.” Hebrews 11:6.

Here we see Jesus Christ travelling on his way to Jerusalem and running into a group of ten lepers. These men were societal reject because of their decease which was contagious. They were in their solitary condition possibly begging along the way for survival. When they saw Jesus Christ, they knew that it an opportunity for a change of story. They had to raise their voices to cry and shout for help, knowing that he had capacity to heal them. Jesus on his part wanted them to exercise their faith by telling them to go for what today we can call medical test to confirm their healing, even when nothing had really changed with their leprous body. The Priests of those days were responsible for confirming or certifying such unclean people fit to mingle with people again when they get well. When he asked them to go and show themselves to the priests, they didn’t hesitate or argue with him. As they went ahead to obey the voice of the master, their healing took place on the way.

I once heard Pastor Chris say that when some mountain prove stubborn by refusing to move at your command, yourself need to refuse to recognise such and move ahead. When you take such step in defiant faith, such mountain will have no choice, but to make way for you. Faith can always be seen because it has an appearance, it will always move you to take some action to validate whatever you trust God to do in your life. It has to be seen also in your spoken words. Champions doesn’t see or confess defeat, whatever the enemy does around them notwithstanding. Whatever ugly or stubborn situation you are able to defy as read this will bow to the power of Jesus Christ, who can change any situation by his mighty power that can never fail. Jesus is still working among us today. ““Jesus of Nazareth was anointed by God with the Holy Spirit and with great power. He did wonderful things for others and divinely healed all who were under the tyranny of the devil, for God had anointed him.” Acts 10:38.

Prayer :Thank you Lord Jesus because you remain the same forever. Today, I worship you because you can change any situation. Today I thank you for……… (mention what you are believing Him to do for you). I give you all the glory for revealing yourself in my life and situation in Jesus wonderful name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Manifesting The Love Of God

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS

Wednesday October 2nd, 2024.

Topic : Manifesting The Love Of God.

Memory Verse : 1 John 4:8. Whoever does not love does not know God, for God is love.

Bible Reading : 1 John 4:9-11 GNB. Key Verse : v9.

And God showed his love for us by sending his only Son into the world, so that we might have life through him. This is what love is: it is not that we have loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the means by which our sins are forgiven. Dear friends, if this is how God loved us, then we should love one another.

Elder John wrote about love more than anyone else in the new testament. He was taken very close to the heart of God by the revelations of Christ he had as an individual. He discussed the subject of love extensively because of it’s importance in the body of Christ as revealed to him. According to his work, all the commandments of God as given in the old testament can be summarised in our loving God as creator and king including our brothers or neighbours. ““Teacher,” he asked, “which is the greatest commandment in the Law?” Jesus answered, “ ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the greatest and the most important commandment. The second most important commandment is like it: ‘Love your neighbour as you love yourself.’” Matthew 22:36-39..

Love functions in two major dimensions. The first dimension of love is that of sacrifice. One easy way to identify love when it is a work is sacrifices. Starting with God whose nature is love, we see him demonstrating this love he has towards man in a lot of sacrifices. In Eden before the fall, he sacrificed his time to meet man physically, so that they can spend time in intimate fellowship. Even after the fall, he couldn’t give up on man because of the depth of his love towards mankind. He had to do the unusual to restore man back to himself in intimate fellowship. ““And just as Moses in the desert lifted up the brass replica of a snake on a pole for all the people to see and be healed, so the Son of Man is ready to be lifted up, so that those who truly believe in him will not perish but be given eternal life. For this is how much God loved the world—he gave his one and only, unique Son as a gift. So now everyone who believes in him will never perish but experience everlasting life.” John 3:14-16 TPT.

In like manner we as children of God cannot love just by words of mouth, but by also making sacrifices in our relationship with God and towatds our brethren or fellow human. That is how we live out the nature of God when it is at work in us.” “Suppose there are brothers or sisters who need clothes and don’t have enough to eat. What good is there in your saying to them, “God bless you! Keep warm and eat well!” — if you don’t give them the necessities of life?” James 2:15-16. Another important dimension of love is revealed in forgiveness. Don’t forget that as children we learn love from God himself. He manifested his love for us in these two ways, he gave us Jesus to die in our place and he forgives our sins when we believe in his son. We are to extend same forgiveness also to fellow men when they offend us. Many today have unanswered prayers because they have refused to forgive fellow men. “Forgive us the wrongs we have done, as we forgive the wrongs that others have done to us. “If you forgive others the wrongs they have done to you, your Father in heaven will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive others, then your Father will not be able forgive the wrongs you have done.” Matthew 6:12, 14-15..

Prayer :Thank you Father God for making me a product of love. Help me to love in practical terms just like yourself. I want to live all my days to love you and fellow men in Jesus precious name. . Amen 🙏🏿.

Keys To Finishing Strong

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Tuesday October 1st, 2024.

Topic : Keys To Finishing Strong.

Memory Verse : 2 Timothy 2:6. The farmer who labors to produce a crop should be the first one to be fed from its harvest.

Bible Reading : 2 Timothy 2:3-5. Key Verse: v4.

Overcome every form of evil as a victorious soldier of Jesus the Anointed One. For every soldier called to active duty must divorce himself from the distractions of this world so that he may fully satisfy the one who chose him. An athlete who doesn’t play by the rules will never receive the trophy, so remain faithful to God!

The words of Apostle Paul to his son in the faith are words of wisdom, born out of his personal experience in his walk with the master and years of kingdom service. They were meant to encourage him to understand what he was into as to help him give it his best in order to be more fruitful in the hands of the Lord. These words of counsel are very necessary for us today, if we must finish strong. Now, the first thing we need to understand is that we have to see ourselves as soldiers enlisted in the Lord’s army. To that extent, we have to develop capacity for endurance in the midst of challenges. We also need to see ourselves as athletes competing for heavenly honours. To that extent, we have to observe as to follow the rules of engagement as prescribed by our master and King Jesus Christ. In every competetion, every athlete must get involved with a winning mentality or burning inner desire to win at the end of the day. The drive to win the price pushes the athlete to bring in an extra push on the field that helps make the difference at the end.

Another very important dimension of the instructions of Apostle Paul in this chapter that we need to heed in order we need in order to finish strong and on the podium is avoid all forms of distractions. I will say that these distractions are things that keep us unnecessarily busy with things that does not add value to our spiritual life or relationships with God or that of other people around us. We are meant to build up or edify one another. “You say, “Under grace there are no rules and we’re free to do anything we please.” Not exactly. Because not everything promotes growth in others. Your slogan, “We’re allowed to do anything we choose,” may be true—but not everything causes the spiritual advancement of others. So don’t always seek what is best for you at the expense of another.” 1 Corinthians 10:23-24.

On a final note, our lives must be focused on pleasing our Lord and Master alone, not ourselves or people around us. Self is a very destructive and dangerous enemy because it has to do with the flesh and things that doesn’t glorify God. People around us on the other hand follow us with their feelings, not knowing the plan of God for our lives in details. They will always get us off the track thinking they are helping us, even when they love us deeply. We live to please the one who has the master plan of our lives including the compass to navigate the way. This is because everything we need in this life is in his mighty hands to give to anyone he pleases. Again, every good seed we sow into our walk with Jesus and his kingdom comes back to us as a harvest. We reap the blessings first which makes us become a blessing to others around us at the end. The beauty of it all is that the rewards of our kingdom services starts here and continues in full measure in eternity. ““Behold, I am coming quickly! I bring my reward with me to repay everyone according to their works. I am the Aleph and the Tav, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the Completion.”” Revelation 22:12-13.

Prayer :Thank you Father God because you desire that I finish strong in you. Help me to heed every instructions you have given me in your word that will help me run my race well to a victorious end in Jesus precious name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Building Spiritual Stamina.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Monday September 30th, 2024.

Topic : Building Spiritual Stamina.

Memory Verse : Romans 8:10. Now Christ lives his life in you! And even though your body may be dead because of the effects of sin, his life-giving Spirit imparts life to you because you are fully accepted by God.

Bible Reading :Romans 8:7-9 TPT. Key Verse : v9.

In fact, the mind-set focused on the flesh fights God’s plan and refuses to submit to his direction, because it cannot! For no matter how hard they try, God finds no pleasure with those who are controlled by the flesh. But when the Spirit of Christ empowers your life, you are not dominated by the flesh but by the Spirit. And if you are not joined to the Spirit of the Anointed One, you are not of him.

One of the challenges of the Church of Jesus Christ today is that many people inside our churches today are less concerned about their spirit man and the kind of life that helps builds them up in God by the Spirit of the anointed one. The after effect is massive spiritual weakness manifested in the lives of individuals. Things are that way because our focus has shifted from things to build up men before God by helping them walk with God in their personal lives. The foundation of a life in the Spirit is cultivating a relationship. Like a physical relationship, spiritual relationships are cultivated too by investment of time and resources. ““Don’t keep hoarding for yourselves earthly treasures that can be stolen by thieves. Material wealth eventually rusts, decays, and loses its value. Instead, stockpile heavenly treasures for yourselves that cannot be stolen and will never rust, decay, or lose their value. For your heart will always pursue what you value as your treasure.” Matthew 6:19-21.

One of the things God is still seeking in in our days more desperately than ever before are the people whom Jesus called true worshippers. “From here on, worshiping the Father will not be a matter of the right place but with the right heart. For God is a Spirit, and he longs to have sincere worshipers who worship and adore him in the realm of the Spirit and in truth.”” John 4:23. These are men with a hunger for God, men that enjoy being with him always, men that seeks to know those things that strengthens their relationship with God as to pursue such things vigorously. God always has a way of responding to our the hunger or cravings of our hearts or inner man. He doesn’t force things we don’t desire on us. “How enriched you are when you crave righteousness! For you will be surrounded with fruitfulness.” Matthew 5:6.

Today we need to have a second look at our priorities in our relationship with God. We need to appraise or check to know the things that our hearts are craving for most. They are pointers to where we are going because they are bound to regulate our activities and daily choices or preferences. We must not allow our flesh to have an upper hand in our lives as to control things we do and how we respond to God himself. No man living to please himself or the flesh can serve God genuinely. What we prefer as men will always clash with things God himself will always demand from us. When we voluntarily submit to the Spirit of the Lord, he can then empower us by the life he imparts or deposits in us to overcome the flesh and it’s desires that runs down our spiritual batteries. “So then, beloved ones, the flesh has no claims on us at all, and we have no further obligation to live in obedience to it. For when you live controlled by the flesh, you are about to die. But if the life of the Spirit puts to death the corrupt ways of the flesh, we then taste his abundant life.” Romans 8:12-13.

Prayer :Thank you Lord Jesus for giving me your Spirit to live by. Help me to pay attention to things that will help build me up in you by the help of your Spirit residing in me. Thank because the flesh and it’s desires will never rule my life in Jesus wonderful name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Take Advantage Of All Jesus Christ Did.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Sunday September 29th, 2024.

Topic :Take Advantage Of All Jesus Christ Did.

Memory Verse :Acts 9:13. Ananias answered, “Lord, many people have told me about this man and about all the terrible things he has done to your people in Jerusalem.

Bible Reading : Acts 9:10-12 GNB. Key Verse : v11.

There was a believer in Damascus named Ananias. He had a vision, in which the Lord said to him, “Ananias!”“Here I am, Lord,” he answered. The Lord said to him, “Get ready and go to Straight Street, and at the house of Judas ask for a man from Tarsus named Saul. He is praying, and in a vision he has seen a man named Ananias come in and place his hands on him so that he might see again.”

Saul was a prominent figure in the persecution of the early Church. He was trying to fight for or defend his Jewish religion (Judaism). He was dwelling in the past like many unbelieving Jews who was blind to the words of prophecy proclaiming about Jesus, his birth, suffering /death, resurrection and mission on earth. When God was unfolding the new covenant of grace with mankind through the early Church, Saul felt like one who could fight for the living God his fathers. He played a prominent role in the killing of Stephen for the sake of the gospel. Coming out fresh from the murder of Stephen, now he was heading to Damascus to conduct a raid on all who were following the way of Jesus Christ who was fleeing the early persecution. He was armed with an authorisation letter to arrest every believer in Christ he could lay hands on and bring them back to Jerusalem to be tried and killed.

“and asked for letters of introduction to the synagogues in Damascus, so that if he should find there any followers of the Way of the Lord, he would be able to arrest them, both men and women, and bring them back to Jerusalem. As Saul was coming near the city of Damascus, suddenly a light from the sky flashed round him. He fell to the ground and heard a voice saying to him, “Saul, Saul! Why do you persecute me?” “Who are you, Lord?” he asked. “I am Jesus, whom you persecute,” the voice said. “But get up and go into the city, where you will be told what you must do.”” Acts 9:2-6. The experience was so shocking and strong that Saul had to enter compulsory fasting for 3 days seeking the mercy of God who arrested him before he could cause more harm to his kingdom.

Jesus Christ as proven in the scriptures is a living God. He is no more in the grave. He arose from the dead on the 3rd day and was seen by many witnesses including his early disciples. When he went back to heaven, it wasn’t in the secret. His disciples was there with him on the mount of Olives. He gave them important instructions, as he was done with them, he was taken into the heavens before their eyes. They came out with him, but returned without him to wait for Pentecost in the place of prayer, as he instructed them Acts 1:1-12. He lives foremore. Today, we have to take advantage of all he did by making up our mind to serve him. He is a loving creator and father. He has shown us enough love by taking our place in the judgment seat of God to pay the price of sin to meet the demands of divine justice. He gave up his life willingly and took it up when he desired, no power could stop him. “After saying this, he was taken up to heaven as they watched him, and a cloud hid him from their sight. They still had their eyes fixed on the sky as he went away, when two men dressed in white suddenly stood beside them and said, “Galileans, why are you standing there looking up at the sky? This Jesus, who was taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way that you saw him go to heaven.”” Acts 1:9-11. Today, the question is how prepared are you for his second coming? He is coming back in his power and glory to judge all his enemies, all who didn’t allow him to bear rule over their lives.

Prayer : Thank you Lord Jesus because you are the living God. Thank you for taking my place in the place of judgement and dying to save me from sin and destruction. Because you died for me, I make up my mind to live for you and you alone all my days in Jesus precious name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Jesus Is The Wisdom Of God.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Saturday September 28th, 2024.

Topic : Jesus Is The Wisdom Of God.

Memory Verse : Proverbs 7:4, Say to wisdom, “I love you,” and to understanding, “You’re my sweetheart.”

Bible Reading : Proverbs 7:1-3 TPT. Key Verse: v2.

Stick close to my instruction, my son, and follow all my advice. If you do what I say you will live well. Guard your life with my revelation-truth, for my teaching is as precious as your eyesight. Treasure my instructions, and cherish them within your heart.

The instructions or commandments of God are meant to keep us on the paths of safety in the journey of life when we observe as to obey them. They are given to us by God out of his undying love for us as his creation and children. Just the way our earthly parents take responsibility to care, teach and guide us into maturity, God who is our ultimate father is interested in every details of our lives to make sure we are kept from troubles and dangers of life by doing the right things always. “My son, if you will take the time to stop and listen to me and embrace what I say, you will live a long and happy life full of understanding in every way. I have taken you by the hand in wisdom’s ways, pointing you to the path of integrity. Your progress will have no limits when you come along with me, and you will never stumble as you walk along the way.” Proverbs 4:10-12.

When we see things from God’s perspective, we are able to walk in the paths of sound judgement. This becomes possible when we love the wisdom he imparts us through the channel of instructions that helps us take the right decisions per time or walk in understanding, which in return helps us to be more fruitful in whatever we do, when embraced as a life partner. The dimension of understanding is designed to enhance our performance in every field or endeavour. Wisdom and understanding builds walls of protection around those who walk in them. This means that they create boundaries for us to ward off the incursions of destructive elements targeted at us by the enemy of our soul. “Treasure my instructions, and cherish them within your heart. Say to wisdom, “I love you,” and to understanding, “You’re my sweetheart.” “May the two of you protect me, and may we never be apart!” For they will keep you from the adulteress, with her smooth words meant to seduce your heart.” Proverbs 7:3-5.

“So make wisdom your quest— search for the revelation of life’s meaning. Don’t let what I say go in one ear and out the other. Stick with wisdom and she will stick to you, protecting you throughout your days. She will rescue all those who passionately listen to her voice. Wisdom is the most valuable commodity—so buy it! Revelation knowledge is what you need—so invest in it!” Proverbs 4:5-7. It pleased God to package his wisdom in his son Jesus Christ. He gives the lives of men real meaning by breaking the power of sin and the devil over the lives of men, helping them discover and pursue purpose. The life that he infused in his followers is such that the forces of darkness are helpless about. Any search for meaning, God and his wisdom in this life outside Jesus Christ will lead men astray into error and destruction.

Prayer :Thank you Father God for your love that made you give me Jesus. Thank you Lord Jesus for delivering me from sin and after effects of sin. Teach me your ways and lead me in the paths of eternal glory in Jesus wonderful name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Taking Advantage Of Divine Wisdom

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Friday September 27th,2024.

Topic :Taking Advantage Of Divine Wisdom.

Memory Verse : Proverbs 2:4. For if you keep seeking it like a man would seek for sterling silver, searching in hidden places for cherished treasure,

Bible Reading : Proverbs 2:1-3 TPT. Key Verse :v2.

My child, will you treasure my wisdom? Then, and only then, will you acquire it. And only if you accept my advice and hide it within will you succeed. So train your heart to listen when I speak and open your spirit wide to expand your discernment— then pass it on to your sons and daughters. Yes, cry out for comprehension and intercede for insight.

God is Spirit or the Father of all spirits. As a spirit, his ways are deep therefore not all men have the time to find him out. Many people prefer to live their lives on the surface, they are too busy to train themselves or develop capacity to interact with their father who is the source of wisdom, strength and life. Now the wisdom of God are hidden in his laws or commands. When we care to listen to him daily and obey his commands, we access the wisdom that is higher than human comprehension. In this wisdom is the life of God revealed which prrserves the adherents. “Teach a wise man what is right and he’ll grow even wiser. Instruct the lovers of God and they’ll learn even more. The starting point for acquiring wisdom is to be consumed with awe as you worship Jehovah-God. To receive the revelation of the Holy One, you must come to the one who has living-understanding. Wisdom will extend your life, making every year more fruitful than the one before.” Proverbs 9:9-11.

Now the way we train physical body to develop capacity to do certain things in life, we also owe ourselves a duty to train our spirit man to relate with the father. For example, if you move to a new location where you don’t understand their language, it is yourself that will open up yourself to train your mind to pick the language of your host, especially if you are to live among them. Your flowing with their language will facilitate every of your activities among them to be seamless. In like manner, when we are born into God’s family, we have to train our spirit man to relate with our Father or to pick signals that he sends to us by his Spirit. Those who value activities going on in God’s presence which are meant to help their earthly life will do everything within their reach to relate with the father effectively as to get the best of him.

“From here on, worshiping the Father will not be a matter of the right place but with the right heart. For God is a Spirit, and he longs to have sincere worshipers who worship and adore him in the realm of the Spirit and in truth.”” John 4:23. The encounter of the Samaritan woman had with Jesus Christ by Jacob’s well opened our eyes to the true nature of God and how to relate with, as to get the best of him at any point in time. Understand this day that there are some important information or intelligence the Lord will always want to pass to us in every situation we find ourselves in the course of life, especially when we go through difficult situations. These informations from his presence are meant to make us wiser than the enemy of our soul. The Lord intends to enhance our discernment through communications he sends down our spirit man, only when we have the right capacity to pick them. That’s the secret of victorious living.

Prayer :Thank you Father God for making me your own. Thank you because of your desire to relate with my spirit always as to guide me on the paths of success. Help me to train my spirit man to receive from you always in Jesus precious…. Amen 🙏🏿.

The Paths Of Safety

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Thursday September 26th, 2024.

Topic : The Paths Of Safety.

Memory Verse : John 10:11. I am the Good Shepherd who lays down my life as a sacrifice for the sheep.

Bible Reading :John 10:8-10 TPT. Key Verse : v10.

All those who broke in before me are thieves who came to steal, but the sheep never listened to them. I am the Gateway. To enter through me is to experience life, freedom, and satisfaction. A thief has only one thing in mind—he wants to steal, slaughter, and destroy. But I have come to give you everything in abundance, more than you expect—life in its fullness until you overflow!

God has a flock of men on earth and they are under the watchful eyes of one great shepherd, who is Jesus Christ. He is a shepherd like no other because he paid with his own blood to redeem us unto himself out of love. Jesus Christ has a sheepfold where his entire flock are kept and that is his presence, their earthly physical locations notwithstanding. This flock of the Lord has one language they understand, and that is the word of God, by which we are always instructed daily. In the word and by his Spirit, his voice is always revealed. “And my Father himself, who gave me this mission, has also testified that I am his Son. But you have never heard his voice nor seen his face, nor does his Word truly live inside of you, for you refuse to believe in me or to embrace me as God’s messenger. “You are busy analyzing the Scriptures, frantically poring over them in hopes of gaining eternal life. Everything you read points to me, yet you still refuse to come to me so I can give you the life you’re looking for—eternal life! John 5:37-40.

As the good shepherd, he is always responsible for our safety. This safety can only be guaranteed in his instructions. That is the reason the voice we listen to or hear on daily basis is very important. Himself knew this on time and gave us his written word by the help of men that walked with him of old. Because he didn’t want to leave anything about our well being and safely to chance, he also gave us his Spirit as our life guide. “These things have I spoken unto you, being yet present with you. But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” John 14:25-27 KJV.

Today we celebrate Jesus, who is the creator, owner, giver and preserver of life. We have to make sure that we remain under the coverage of his voice in whatever we do as his children. As we discern his voice to follow him daily, he will lead us in the paths of wisdom, recovery, divine intervention and perpetual victory. “Trust in the Lord completely, and do not rely on your own opinions. With all your heart rely on him to guide you, and he will lead you in every decision you make. Become intimate with him in whatever you do, and he will lead you wherever you go. Don’t think for a moment that you know it all, for wisdom comes when you adore him with undivided devotion and avoid everything that’s wrong. Then you will find the healing refreshment your body and spirit long for.” Proverbs 3:5-8.

Prayer :Thank you Father God for giving me Jesus, who died to save my soul. Thank you Lord Jesus for giving me your word and Spirit as a life guide. Help me to always discern your voice and follow you unto everlasting victory in Jesus wonderful name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Overcoming The Spirit Of The Last Days

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Wednesday September 25th, 2024.

Topic : Overcoming The Spirit Of The Last Days

Memory Verse : 2 Timothy 4:3. For the time is coming when they will no longer listen and respond to the healing words of truth because they will become selfish and proud. They will seek out teachers with soothing words that line up with their desires, saying just what they want to hear.

Bible Reading : 2 Timothy 4:1-2. Key Verse: v2.

Timothy, in the presence of our great God and our Lord Jesus Christ, the One who is destined to judge both the living and the dead by the revelation of his kingdom—I solemnly instruct you to proclaim the Word of God and stand upon it no matter what! Rise to the occasion and preach when it is convenient and when it is not. Preach in the full expression of the Holy Spirit—with wisdom and patience as you instruct and teach the people.

The reason Jesus came to the earth is to raise a people unto himself who will serve him in Spirit and in Truth. Such men must believe in the saving grace as made available to mankind by his sacrifice of his blood as was shed for our sins. When we come to him, our primary purpose should be to learn things he intends to teach us through his word and sometimes by the help of his servants whom he separated uno himself for that purpose. Because we are in the last days as spoken by his servants, many are not interested in receiving true knowledge of God, they only appear in the place of fellowship because they intend to solve some problems without any genuine desire to know the solution provider himself as to serve him.

As men working for God, we have to make sure that we always dispense the truth. We have to live in the consciousness of the fact that we are accountable to God. Paul before he left the stage wanted his son Timothy to always bear in mind the fact that the judge of the universe will bring his ministry assignment under scrutiny at the end, so that he doesn’t get carried away, as to work to please men instead of him that called him into kingdom service. “For the time is coming when they will no longer listen and respond to the healing words of truth because they will become selfish and proud. They will seek out teachers with soothing words that line up with their desires, saying just what they want to hear. They will close their ears to the truth and believe nothing but fables and myths. So be alert to all these things and overcome every form of evil. Carry in your heart the passion of your calling as a church planter and evangelist, and fulfill your ministry calling.” 2 Timothy 4:3-5.

Because people are looking for another kind of gospel, the enemy himself has prepared enough men and sent them out to be on the prowl. Truth is that no man with genuine hunger for truth and intention to serve God in truth and in Spirit can be deceived by such men working for the devil. Another truth is that many people are not trying to live their lives to please God. All they are careful about is how to solve their problems or meet daily needs. As long as their physical needs are met, they are satisfied. They have no consciousness of eternity and the need to live for God or prepare for it. “Jesus answered them and said, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Ye seek me, not because ye saw the miracles, but because ye did eat of the loaves, and were filled. Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father sealed.” John 6:26-27.

Prayer : Thank you Father God because your truth has been revealed to all in your word. Plant in my spirit a hunger for your genuine love. Give me a heart that longs for you and your truth all my days in Jesus precious name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Learning At The Feet The Master

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Tuesday September 24th, 2024.

Topic : Learning At The Feet The Master.

Memory Verse : Matthew 5:4. “What delight comes to you when you wait upon the Lord! For you will find what you long for.

Bible Reading : Matthew 5:1-3 TPT. Key Verse: v3.

One day Jesus saw a vast crowd of people gathering to hear him, so he went up the slope of a hill and sat down. With his followers and disciples spread over the hillside, Jesus began to teach them: “What wealth is offered to you when you feel your spiritual poverty! For there is no charge to enter the realm of heaven’s kingdom.

The earthly ministry of our Lord Jesus was filled with God’s power and glory. Because his ministry provided solution the the problem of men, especially believers, answers to their questions and clarity where they were confused, people followed him anywhere he went. Sometimes even when he separates himself to lonely places to rest or pray, they will always try to find him out in their numbers. This time he was a mountainous area when the people located him in their numbers and he climbed some height and sat down to teach new rules of life that help them serve God better and enjoy his benefits. “Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases; Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;” Psalms 103:2-4. KJV.

One of the things Jesus taught here is the importance of coming to him with a feeling of emptiness, poverty of the mind or spirit, so that he can fill us with his knowledge and wisdom. When we are full of ourselves and what we think we know, there will be no space for him to fill. But anytime we come to him with teachable mindsets, we are always be open to receive his knowledge and wisdom in regards to the way we ought to live our lives to be a blessing to ourselves and all that come across our way in life. The wisdom Christ impart s by his Spirit equips men to accomplish the purpose of God for our existence. “Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil. It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones.” Proverbs 3:5-8 KJV.

The second thing Jesus taught us here is that there is great blessing in waiting upon the Lord. Anytime we pray and seem not get the result we desire as soon as we desire them, it is time to wait on him. Waiting on him has to with patience. Waiting is a demonstration of trust and confidence in him and his timing. In our waiting time, we learn things we didn’t know in the past as we explore the depths of God for more intimacy with him. This works experience and maturity in the believer which makes us more resourceful in the kingdom. When we wait, we are always sure of divine result at the end. “Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward. For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.” Hebrews 10:35-36.

Prayer :Thank you Lord Jesus for imparting me with your wisdom through your word. Help me to always come before you with a teachable heart. As I wait on you, let there be solution to every difficult case in Jesus wonderful name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Yearly Bible Reading : Luke 23:1-12.
