ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Topic : Jesus Makes Men.

Memory Verse :Matthew 4:19. Jesus called out to them and said, “Come and follow me, and I will transform you into men who catch people for God.”

Bible Reading :Matthew 4:17-18,20 TPT. Key Verse : v19.

From that time on Jesus began to proclaim his message with these words: “Keep turning away from your sins and come back to God, for heaven’s kingdom realm is now accessible.” As he was walking by the shore of Lake Galilee, Jesus noticed two fishermen who were brothers. One was nicknamed Keefa (later called Peter), and the other was Andrew, his brother. Watching as they were casting their nets into the water, Immediately they dropped their nets and left everything behind to follow Jesus.

Jesus came to the earth to call men unto himself. He calls men to himself so that he can make them game and world changers. At this point of his encounter with Peter and resultant call, Peter had spent all his life transversing the seas as a professional making a living through fishing business. Jesus came into his life to upgrade him from catching ordinary fishes which were or less value to catching men whose souls were very precious before the Lord who created us. They were to spend time with the master, so that he could teach and transform their lives to become men that God could depend on to carry out his agenda on earth, after the master was able to help them understand his heartbeat and to flow in it. “Jesus said to him, “This shows that today life has come to you and your household, for you are a true son of Abraham. The Son of Man has come to seek out and to give life to those who are lost.”” Luke 19:9-10.

Another reason Jesus came to the earth is to deal with the root of the problem of man here on earth which is sin. Before sin came everything worked for man according to divine design. When sin crept in, man was disqualified from functioning in God’s original plan. Jesus had to come to our rescue to deliver man from the cancer of sin and it’s attendant consequences. When Joseph was contemplating ending it with Mary for getting pregnant outside their relationship, the Lord had to send an angel to explain what God was doing in the life of Mary, so that he could align with the Almighty. “While he was still debating with himself about what to do, he fell asleep and had a supernatural dream. An angel from the Lord appeared to him in clear light and said, “Joseph, descendant of David, don’t hesitate to take Mary into your home as your wife, because the power of the Holy Spirit has conceived a child in her womb. She will give birth to a son and you are to name him ‘Savior,’ for he is destined to give his life to save his people from their sins.” This happened so that what the Lord spoke through his prophet would come true: Listen! A virgin will be pregnant, she will give birth to a Son, and he will be known as “Emmanuel,” which means in Hebrew, “God became one of us.”” Matthew 1:20-23.

Today Jesus is calling us to be part of his family and kingdom here on earth. He has paid the price for sin with his blood. When we believe in him and the finished work of the cross, we stand redeemed from sin and it’s bondage. Not only that, we are also empowered by the Holy Spirit to live to continue the work Jesus began before returning to the father in heaven. When we embrace his plan for our lives, he transforms our lives beyond our imagination. That singular decision of Peter changed the direction of his life from obscurity to limelight. By the time he stood to defend the gospel they received at Pentecost, the result was there for all to see as about 3,000 souls was saved at a sweep. At the beautiful gate, the man born was shocked at what happened to him. He was looking for ordinary money and got healed of his deformation for life. “Continually more and more people believed in the Lord and were added to their number—great crowds of both men and women. In fact, when people knew Peter was going to walk by, they carried the sick out to the streets and laid them down on cots and mats, knowing the incredible power emanating from him would overshadow them and heal them.” Acts 5:14-15.

Prayer :Thank Lord Jesus because you died to pay for my sins so that I can can function in God’s family and kingdom. Thank you because when me follow you, you make them. Thank because you will make me as I live my life to serve you all my days in Jesus precious name….. Amen 🙏🏿.

Praying Through.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Wednesday October 23rd, 2024.

Topic : Praying Through.

Memory Verse : 1 Samuel 2:4. The bows of strong soldiers are broken, but the weak grow strong.

Bible Reading : 1 Samuel 2:1-3 GNB. Key Verse: v2.

Hannah prayed: “The Lord has filled my heart with joy; how happy I am because of what he has done! I laugh at my enemies; how joyful I am because God has helped me! “No one is holy like the Lord; there is none like him, no protector like our God. Stop your loud boasting; silence your proud words. For the Lord is a God who knows, and he judges all that people do.

Hannah was in a very difficult situation. She had no child in her marriage, but Peninnah who was the second wife to her husband Elkanah had children. Her husband loved her and cared much for her, but Peninnah made life very unbearable for her in the marriage through excessive mockery and taunting as a result of her having no child in her marriage. When she could not bear the troublesomeness of Peninnah, she decided to run to God Almighty who has capacity to do all things for help. “Peninnah, her rival, would torment and humiliate her, because the Lord had kept her childless. This went on year after year; whenever they went to the house of the Lord, Peninnah would upset Hannah so much that she would cry and refuse to eat anything. Her husband Elkanah would ask her, “Hannah, why are you crying? Why won’t you eat? Why are you always so sad? Don’t I mean more to you than ten sons?”” 1 Samuel 1:6-8.

Hanah finally made a wise decision by taking her worrisome situation to God in prayer, when they made a visit to the house of God in shiloh for their Yearly sacrifice and to worship. At shiloh, she stayed back when others left to seek the face of the Lord. There, she poured her broken heart out before the Lord God Almighty. Eli the priest saw her and spoke a word of agreement into her life. She went home with her miracle. Her next visit to Shiloh was to pay her vows with thanksgiving. “Hannah made a solemn promise: “Almighty Lord, look at me, your servant! See my trouble and remember me! Don’t forget me! If you give me a son, I promise that I will dedicate him to you for his whole life and that he will never have his hair cut.” Hannah continued to pray to the Lord for a long time, and Eli watched her lips. She was praying silently; her lips were moving, but she made no sound. So Eli thought that she was drunk,” 1 Samuel 1:10-12.

Now sister Hannah returned to give glory to God for granting her heart desires. She was full praise to the Lord for his mighty and timely intervention. Today we have to learn to seek God till we find him from the life and testimony of sister Hannah. Jesus taught us that we have to pray and not give up till God answers us in Luke 181-8 with the parable of the widow and the Judge that has no regard for God, not to talk of men. Yet because of the persistence of the helpless widow, the judge was forced to meet her need, so that he could have some respite. Many people today are lazy in prayer, they are looking for some alternatives to prayer where there is none. Such group of people becomes easy prey in the hands of fake people who seem to offer what they are looking for. Today we must forget that persistence is key to praying through in any given situation.

Prayer : Thank you Father God because no man seeks you in vain. Thank you because you are the God of answers. Help me to learn to be consistent in my prayers to you. Thank you for turning my travails to testimonies in Jesus wonderful name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Lessons From The Life Of Rahab

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Tuesday October 22nd, 2024.

Topic :Lessons From The Life Of Rahab.

Memory Verse :Joshua 2:7. and said to them, “I know that the Lord has given you this land. Everyone in the country is terrified of you.

Bible Reading :Joshua 2:8-10 GNB. Key Verse : v9.

We have heard how the Lord dried up the Red Sea in front of you when you were leaving Egypt. We have also heard how you killed Sihon and Og, the two Amorite kings east of the Jordan. We were afraid as soon as we heard about it; we have all lost our courage because of you. The Lord your God is God in heaven above and here on earth. Now swear by him that you will treat my family as kindly as I have treated you, and give me some sign that I can trust you.

Sometimes we do wonder how a notorious harlot like Rahab was listed in Hebrews chapter 11 as one the all time heroes of faith. But if you watch her statements and acts of faith as demonstrated in her dealings with the two spies sent into Jericho by Joshua who lodged with her, you will see raw faith in the living God of the Isrealites. Because of the acts of God in the camp of the Israelites which she and the people had heard of, she believed that their God was the true God and also that he will surely deliver Jericho as a city to the people of Israel. She didn’t just stop in her believing, but took further steps to identify with or facilitate the course of the living God as committed into the care of the spies whom she shielded. Faith comes by hearing… , she heard, she believed and she also acted on what she believed. “Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only. Likewise also was not Rahab the harlot justified by works, when she had received the messengers, and had sent them out another way? For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.” James 2:24-26 KJV.

Now these uncommon acts of God in the camp of the people of Israel were proofs of God’s presence in their camp. The kings they subdued and killed as they came up to hinder their advancement were respected kings with proven track records in warfare. Rahab on her part saw her meeting with these two men (the spies) as an opportunity to secure herself and her entire family from imminent destruction. Her acts of faith and bargain paid off at the end. “The men said to her, “We will keep the promise that you have made us give. This is what you must do. When we invade your land, tie this red cord to the window you let us down from. Get your father and mother, your brothers, and all your father’s family together in your house. If anyone goes out of the house, his death will be his own fault, and we will not be responsible; but if anyone in the house with you is harmed, then we will be responsible.” Joshua 2:15-17.

Today we need to realise that the highest investment God can make in any man’s life is his presence. You have to do everything necessary to carry it, if you desire to live a life filled with uncommon testimonies that will confirm the reality of your God and cause your terror to be in the camp of your enemies. Again we need to learn that God’s interest here on earth is after his own purpose and men who make themselves available to pursue divine agenda automatically expose themselves to divine help just like the spies. “Wherefore the LORD God of Israel saith, I said indeed that thy house, and the house of thy father, should walk before me for ever: but now the LORD saith, Be it far from me; for them that honour me I will honour, and they that despise me shall be lightly esteemed.” 1 Samuel 2:30 KJV.

Prayer :Thank you Father God for loving and teaching me with the life of men of old. Help me to live a life that will command your presence. Help me to identify with your agenda all my days so that I can enjoy divine help in Jesus precious name….. Amen 🙏🏿.

A Surrendered Life.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Monday October 21st, 2024.

Topic : A Surrendered Life.

Memory Verse : Romans 12:21. Do not let evil defeat you; instead, conquer evil with good.

Bible Reading : Romans 12:1-2 GNB. Key Verse :v1.

So then, my brothers and sisters, because of God’s great mercy to us I appeal to you: offer yourselves as a living sacrifice to God, dedicated to his service and pleasing to him. This is the true worship that you should offer. Do not conform yourselves to the standards of this world, but let God transform you inwardly by a complete change of your mind. Then you will be able to know the will of God — what is good and is pleasing to him and is perfect.

Here in this chapter of the book of Romans we can observe various instructions that will help our lives as children of God. In the first place, we must see grace as a very serious investment of God in our lives. This investment is rooted on the sacrifice of the cross which Jesus Christ made for our redemption. We on our own part can service grace or get the best of it by sacrifice too. The first and most important sacrifice that grace demands from an individual is his life, body or entire being. Jesus died for our sins, so that we in return can live for his glory alone. ““My old identity has been co-crucified with Messiah and no longer lives; for the nails of his cross crucified me with him. And now the essence of this new life is no longer mine, for the Anointed One lives his life through me—we live in union as one! My new life is empowered by the faith of the Son of God who loves me so much that he gave himself for me, and dispenses his life into mine! “So that is why I don’t view God’s grace as something minor or peripheral. For if keeping the law could release God’s righteousness to us, the Anointed One would have died for nothing.”” Galatians 2:20-21 TPT.

At this point, we become dedicated entities, objects of worship or instruments always available on God’s altar of service or presence anytime he has need to use us for his kingdom purposes. This makes our lives ooze out divine aroma that pleases God just like the burnt offerings of old. This can only be possible when we don’t take after the cultures or standards of the world who hate God and his ways most of the time. At this point we have to search the scriptures daily as to discover the values of the kingdom we belong to as to live by them, so that we can please God Almighty. “God’s Generous Grace Everything we could ever need for life and complete devotion to God has already been deposited in us by his divine power. For all this was lavished upon us through the rich experience of knowing him who has called us by name and invited us to come to him through a glorious manifestation of his goodness. As a result of this, he has given you magnificent promises that are beyond all price, so that through the power of these tremendous promises you can experience partnership with the divine nature, by which you have escaped the corrupt desires that are of the world.” 2 Peter 1:3-4 TPT.

In everything, we have to be mindful of how we deal with each other as God’s inheritance. We should have no place for a self centered lifestyle. Rather, our lives has to be such that seek the well being of other people as equally important. Just like Christ who we now bear his nature, divine pursuits and agenda has to be of great importance to the life we live. At this point, we allow God to fight our battles when our lives are surrendered to him. “Be happy with those who are happy, weep with those who weep. Have the same concern for everyone. Do not be proud, but accept humble duties. Do not think of yourselves as wise. If someone has done you wrong, do not repay him with a wrong. Try to do what everyone considers to be good. Do everything possible on your part to live in peace with everybody. Never take revenge, my friends, but instead let God’s anger do it. For the scripture says, “I will take revenge, I will pay back, says the Lord.”” Romans 12:15-19.

Prayer :Thank you Father God for sacrificing your son on the cross in order to usher me into your grace. Help you to also place my own life on the altar of kingdom service. Let me live to honour you all my days in Jesus wonderful name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

You Need The Born Again Experience.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Sunday October 20th, 2024.

Topic : You Need The Born Again Experience.

Memory Verse :John 3:6. A person is born physically of human parents, but is born spiritually of the Spirit.

John 3:1-3 GNB. Key Verse: v3.

There was a Jewish leader named Nicodemus, who belonged to the party of the Pharisees. One night he went to Jesus and said to him, “Rabbi, we know that you are a teacher sent by God. No one could perform the miracles you are doing unless God were with him.” Jesus answered, “I am telling you the truth: no one can see the Kingdom of God without being born again.”

In the course evangelism the other day, I met a young man. He was very warm and I assumed he was one of us. However before I left, I asked if he was born again. He replied that he is a child of God and that there’s nothing like being born again. He said he became a child of God the day he was baptised. I asked if he will believe in born again experience, if I should show it to him from the Bible and he agreed. I took him to Mark…. “He said to them, “Go throughout the whole world and preach the gospel to the whole human race. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved; whoever does not believe will be condemned.” Mark 16:14-15. I made him understand the process of believing in Christ as you hear the gospel which is demonstrated by baptism to complete the process. I had to use my personal experience to explain that. In a nutshell, I began to hear the gospel at a tender age. When I was mature enough, I made a decision in a church programme I was invited to after listening to the man of God. Few months later I was baptised by immersion and in few months time again, I was filled with the Holy Spirit in another church programme.

“Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb, and be born? Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.” John 3:4-6 KJV. Many have this mindset of Nicodemus, they wonder within them how mature men can say they are getting born again. I tried to explain to the young man that such is a spiritual transaction that happens in the spirit realm to restore our broken relationship with God because of the fall. Even Jesus told the Samaritan woman by the well of Jacob that God Almighty is Spirit and no one can access or transact any business with him, except the person has capacity to function in the spirit realm in order to reach him.

I then tried to let the young man see that the process includes being born of water and of The Spirit of God. I used some more scriptures to explain spiritual death which every man on the surface of the earth coming from Adam is subjected to. The life Jesus talked about is same life that was lost in Eden. That is not a physical life, but life in the Spirit. “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” John 14:6 KJV. This type of life Jesus is taking about here is found only in his Spirit. That is the life of an overcomer which is the power to become…”He came unto his own, and his own received him not. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.” John 1:11-13 KJV.

Prayer :Thank you Father God for giving me Jesus Christ who died to redeem me from my sins. Today I believe he died for my sins and arose for my justification. Lord Jesus, give me your Spirit and help me to live for your glory all my days in Jesus wonderful name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Participating In The Priesthood.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Saturday October 19th, 2024

Topic : Participating In The Priesthood.

Memory Verse : 1 Timothy 2:4. He longs for everyone to embrace his life and return to the full knowledge of the truth.

Bible Reading :1 Timothy 2:5-7 TPT. Key Verse: v7

For God is one, and there is one Mediator between God and the sons of men—the true man, Jesus, the Anointed One. He gave himself as ransom-payment for everyone. Now is the proper time for God to give the world this witness. I have been divinely called as an apostle to preach this revelation, which is the truth. God has called me to be a trustworthy teacher to the nations.

Apostle Paul writing his son in the faith Timothy and ourselves is asking that we pray always, so that the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ can always take it’s rightful course anywhere we find ourselves. Our prayers will affect those in authority or corridors of power to take decisions that will engender peace in our society and favour the course of the gospel. Every believer, I keep saying has been called into a prayer ministry as a lifestyle. In prayer, we are able to influence what happens on earth by the help of the Spirit of God. Another ministry every child of God has been called into is that that of bearing testimony to the truth anywhere we find ourselves in our lifetime, just like Apostle Paul. The gospel will not be preached by angels, but men, and all of us as people of God are the ones that will make Christ known to our generation through our testimony of him.

Many people are trying to get men changed in futility. The only known an authentic instrument of change given to mankind is the gospel. Because the problem of man is deeply rooted into his nature. This human nature is difficult to handle or deal with without the help of God and through the instrumentality of his word that cannot fail. This very word is personified in Jesus Christ, who is the son of God. He is the creator of all things including man. John 1:1-3. Because he is the creator, he has the right capacity to recreate what he created. A living example is a man like Saul of Tarsus. It took Jesus just an encounter of few munites to recreate him from the inside and redirect his life changing him from persecutor to preacher or testifier. With Saul’s exposure, knowledge in Judaism, education and societal influence nothing would have been able to change his convictions so rapidly as well as redirect the entire course of his life. Acts 9:1-19.

Today we have to wake up to our priesthood in Christ Jesus. “And they were all singing this new song of praise to the⁴ Lamb: “Because you were slaughtered for us, you are worthy to take the scroll and open its seals. Your blood was the price paid to redeem us. You purchased us to bring us to God out of every tribe, language, people group, and nation. You have chosen us to serve our God and formed us into a kingdom of priests who reign on the earth.”” Revelation 5:9-10. As long as we remain here on earth, the Church determines what God does on earth through the priesthood. This priesthood Apostle Peter further explained is not ordinary, but of royalty, and is meant to display God’s glory through us here on earth. Through the priesthood, we are able to align with Christ to prosecute or enforce his agenda here on earth on the altars of prayer and intercession. 1 Peter 2:5-10.

Prayer :Thank you Father God for choosing me in Christ Jesus to stand for you and serve you in my lifetime. Help me to always be alive to my duty as a priest of royalty as to enforce your agenda on earth. Let the testimonies of Jesus in my mouth draw men to serve the living God in Jesus precious name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Beware Of Greed And Pride.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Friday October 18th, 2024.

Topic :Beware Of Greed And Pride.

Memory Verse :1 Samuel 15:19. Why, then, did you not obey him? Why did you rush to seize the loot, and so do what displeases the Lord?”

Bible Reading :1 Samuel 15:16-18 GNB. Key Verse: v18.

“Stop,” Samuel ordered, “and I will tell you what the Lord said to me last night.”“Tell me,” Saul said. Samuel answered, “Even though you consider yourself of no importance, you are the leader of the tribes of Israel. The Lord anointed you king of Israel, and he sent you out with orders to destroy those wicked people of Amalek. He told you to fight until you had killed them all.

God had sent king Saul on a very crucial assignment that will determine the direction of his government with detailed instructions on how he should carry out the assignment by the mouth of Samuel. However king Saul went to Amalek as instructed by the Lord with his army, but carried out the assignment in his own way and not the way the Lord had instructed him. “Samuel said to Saul, “I am the one whom the Lord sent to anoint you king of his people Israel. Now listen to what the Lord Almighty says. He is going to punish the people of Amalek because their ancestors opposed the Israelites when they were coming from Egypt. Go and attack the Amalekites and completely destroy everything they have. Don’t leave a thing; kill all the men, women, children, and babies; the cattle, sheep, camels, and donkeys.”” 1 Samuel 15:1-3..

When Saul got to Amalek, he saw well bred animals good for eating. He saw some women well taken care of and very expensive properties good to keep. The voice of greed began to help him admire such stuffs, before long he concluded that such admirable stuffs were not worth destroying because of the wrath of God when the living needed to enjoy them. Even king Agag he supposed to have killed was spared because he wanted to show off. That was the beginning of his downfall. “Saul defeated the Amalekites, fighting all the way from Havilah to Shur, east of Egypt; he captured King Agag of Amalek alive and killed all the people. But Saul and his men spared Agag’s life and did not kill the best sheep and cattle, the best calves and lambs, or anything else that was good; they destroyed only what was useless or worthless. The Lord said to Samuel, “I am sorry that I made Saul king; he has turned away from me and disobeyed my commands.” Samuel was angry, and all night long he pleaded with the Lord.” 1 Samuel 15:7-11..

I always tell people that the character of God was revealed to us in the old testament. Anyone who wants to understand the character of God should study his dealings with our ancestors or men of old in the old testament. The problem of King Saul here was an underlying greed and pride waiting for the right time to manifest. It was greed that made him spare all the choice animals and properties. On the other hand, he spared Agag the king of Amalek as prisoner of war out of pride to show off his war exploits and receive the praise of men to the provocation of the Almighty. Today as we aspire for great things in the kingdom, we must allow the Spirit of God to help us deal with every element of greed and pride that may want to rear up their heads to hinder God’s plan for our lives. The enemy doesn’t change, when he wants to stop a man, he will cause him to do things that will make heaven withdraw from him, so that he can mess him up. “But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out.” 1 Timothy 6:6-7 KJV.

Prayer : Thank you Father God for teaching me wisdom with the example of the fathers and men of old. Search me oh God and remove every seed of greed and pride hiding in me. Keep me from the paths of disobedience all my days in Jesus precious name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

That The Eyes Our Understanding May Open

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Thursday October 17th, 2024.

Topic :That The Eyes Our Understanding May Open.

Memory Verse : 2 Kings 6:18. When the Syrians attacked, Elisha prayed, “O Lord, strike these men blind!” The Lord answered his prayer and struck them blind.

Bible Reading :2 Kings 6:14-16 GNB. Key Verse: v16.

he sent a large force there with horses and chariots. They reached the town at night and surrounded it. Early the next morning Elisha’s servant got up, went out of the house, and saw the Syrian troops with their horses and chariots surrounding the town. He went back to Elisha and exclaimed, “We are doomed, sir! What shall we do?” “Don’t be afraid,” Elisha answered. “We have more on our side than they have on theirs.”

This time around the king of Syria was at war with the people of Samaria. Now, as the king of Syria make consultations and drew war strategies with his leaders, the Spirit of the Lord was revealing his plans made in the secret to Elisha the Prophet who in turn communicated same to the king for appropriate steps to counter him. Even when they tried to lay ambush, the Spirit will give details including where to pass and where not to. In his frustration, the king of Syria had to call an emergency meeting to know who was leaking their intelligence, only to find out from one of his men that Prophet Elisha was the one tapping into the secrets of his camp through the channels of heaven and revealing same to king of Samaria at no cost. He then made findings to know where this Prophet was living. When he found out, he sent his heavily armed soldiers to Dothan to capture and bring the man of God. Very early in the morning the Syrian soldiers arrived and sorounded the entire city intending to capture Elisha. When they woke early the next morning, his servant saw the heavily armed soldiers sorrounding the city and began to panic.

Elisha the man of God on his side was calm and calculated, knowing that they had what it takes to take care of the enemy who was on rampage against the inheritance of God. He had already seen mighty angels on assignment on their behalf, whom the enemy was not a match for by any standard, even in strength. All he did to restore the confidence and composure of his servant was to ask the Lord to open the eyes of his servant to understand the real situation on ground. ““Don’t be afraid,” Elisha answered. “We have more on our side than they have on theirs.” Then he prayed, “O Lord, open his eyes and let him see!” The Lord answered his prayer, and Elisha’s servant looked up and saw the hillside covered with horses and chariots of fire all round Elisha. When the Syrians attacked, Elisha prayed, “O Lord, strike these men blind!” The Lord answered his prayer and struck them blind.” 2 Kings 6:16-18.

Today we have to learn that no one walking with God gets stranded in life. One of the reasons convenant people fear and sometimes look stranded, confused and not knowing what to do in any given situation, is because our eyes of understanding are not open to divine provisions. Understanding helps us take advantage of what God has already provided. The faithfulness of God is so strong that in every challenges we encounter, there are resources heaven makes available to us to meet our needs. Today wherever we looked confused and afraid, we are to go to the Lord and ask him to open our eyes of understanding to solutions from his presence already made available which might not always be on the surface. All Elisha did was to take charge of the situation, using divine provision. “When the Syrians attacked, Elisha prayed, “O Lord, strike these men blind!” The Lord answered his prayer and struck them blind. Then Elisha went to them and said, “You are on the wrong road; this is not the town you are looking for. Follow me, and I will lead you to the man you are after.” And he led them to Samaria.” 2 Kings 6:18-19.

Prayer : Thank you Father God for being faithful in every situation. Thank you because for every challenge that comes my way, there are enough provision from your presence to ensure my victory. Open my eyes these days to every provision you have made available to ensure my victory in Jesus wonderful name….. Amen 🙏🏿.

The Spirit Of Faith

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Wednesday October 16th, 2024.

Topic :The Spirit Of Faith.

Memory Verse :Matthew 6:33. “So above all, constantly chase after the realm of God’s kingdom and the righteousness that proceeds from him. Then all these less important things will be given to you abundantly.

Bible Reading : Matthew 6:28-30 TPT. Key Verse: v 30.

“And why would you worry about your clothing? Look at all the beautiful flowers of the field. They don’t work or toil, and yet not even Solomon in all his splendor was robed in beauty more than one of these! So if God has clothed the meadow with hay, which is here for such a short time and then dried up and burned, won’t he provide for you the clothes you need—even though you live with such little faith?

Here we see one of the longest teaching Christ gave in the course of his earthly ministry assignment, where he touched on many issues that bothers on our relationship with God our creator. In this section of his teaching he was trying to help us learn to depend on God in whatever we do. One of the first thing we need to understand here about depending on God or living by faith as the case may be is that faith is a Spirit . No man walking in human wisdom or his senses can exercise God’s kind of faith . It is a path exclusive meant for men who have become used to interacting with spirits which helps them tap into informations or knowledge that are not available to ordinary men. These exclusive knowledge helps them take decisions or steps that stands them out from among common men in their generation. “We have the same Spirit of faith that is described in the Scriptures when it says, “First I believed, then I spoke in faith.” So we also first believe then speak in faith. We do this because we are convinced that he who raised Jesus will raise us up with him, and together we will all be brought into his presence.” 2 Corinthians 4:13-14.

Men of faith are therefore men that have mastered the art of living in God’s presence and interacting with his Spirit. Elijah was such a man, that was the reason he could boldly make decrees concerning a whole nation simply as a man that stands before God or a man that lives his life in God’s presence, his earthly location notwithstanding. “And Elijah the Tishbite, who was of the inhabitants of Gilead, said unto Ahab, As the LORD God of Israel liveth, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years, but according to my word.” 1 Kings 17:1 KJV. Another important fact I want us to note here is that faith in God that wards off every worries, circumstances notwithstanding is always a product of devotion. You can’t exercise such level of reliance on an entity you don’t have any serious commitment to or you have not been able to understand his character over a period of time, which on the other hand builds unwavering trust. “The confidence of my calling enables me to overcome every difficulty without shame, for I have an intimate revelation of this God. And my faith in him convinces me that he is more than able to keep all that I’ve placed in his hands safe and secure until the fullness of his appearing.” 2 Timothy 1:12.

Today God is asking us to dare to step out of our comfort zone to learn to live in his presence and to depend on him, being assured of his love and genuine commitment to our well being daily. He wants us to re-order our priorities aright to align with his desire, standard and purpose, so that we can always enjoy the flow of his abundant provisions meant for those who love and trust him in everything they do. We have to learn that anywhere worry rules, faith in God is absent. Be careful anytime worries wants to overtake you, it is a serious indicator that the Spirit of faith is no more at work and that you have resorted to living by your human senses and understanding. Again, the key to divine sustainance and flow of provisions always goes the direction of men who make it a duty to prioritise seeking God’s kingdom and it’s righteousness in their lifetime.

Prayer :Thank you Lord Jesus because no man following you fails in life. Today, help me order my priorities aright in a manner that pleases you. Let your Spirit of faith rule my life. I want to live in your presence all my days as to enjoy unhindered flow of your interventions in Jesus precious name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

New Identity And New Life.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Tuesday October 15th, 2024.

Topic : New Identity And New Life.

Memory Verse : Romans 13:14. Instead fully immerse yourselves into the Lord Jesus, the Anointed One, and don’t waste even a moment’s thought on your former identity to awaken its selfish desires.

Bible Reading :Romans 13:12-13 TPT. Key Verse :v13.

Night’s darkness is dissolving away as a new day of destiny dawns. So we must once and for all strip away what is done in the shadows of darkness, removing it like filthy clothes. And once and for all we clothe ourselves with the radiance of light as our weapon. We must live honorably, surrounded by the light of this new day, not in the darkness of drunkenness and debauchery, not in promiscuity and sensuality, not being argumentative or jealous of others.

When we have genuine encounter with the man of the cross, we receive new identity and a new life. To that extent, there are visible changes that our contact and relationship with him leaves on our daily life, especially in our relationship with constituted authorities and fellow men in general. In the first place, we need to understand that authorities are constituted by God for the purpose of governance and orderliness to avoid chaos in society. Imagine what our society will look like if there are no constituted authorities? “Those in authority are therefore are God’s servants for the good of society. “But if you break the law, you have reason to be alarmed, for they are God’s agents of punishment to bring criminals to justice. Why do you think they carry weapons? You are compelled to obey them, not just to avoid punishment, but because you want to live with a clean conscience.” Romans 13:4-5.

Through the death and resurrection of Jesus, we are able to understand the true meaning of love as he demonstrated same to us by his sacrificial death. He didn’t just stop there, but took some steps further to put his Spirit in us so that ourselves can receive inbuilt capacity to walk in same love as revealed to us. In this realm of love, our consciences are alive to good works, even when no man is there to supervise or compel us to do what is right. “And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us. For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:5-8 KJV.

At this point in time, our lives becomes a picture where men can see the nature of Christ lived out daily. Because his nature has been given to us by his indwelling Spirit, we don’t just stop at walking in the light, rather we take steps further to become the light because of continuous exposure or relationship to the source of light. That is the reason Christ began to tell his early disciples and our fathers in the faith that you have become the light of the world. Cities set on hills in different locations around the world as models cities or societal role models. Salt that make the condiments used in cooking to blend and deliver the right or desired taste of the cook. That is the reason we cannot continue in our old nature or livestyles that does not depict or glorify Jesus Christ himself. “Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men. Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.” Matthew 5:13-14,16 KJV.
