Responsible Christianity.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Sunday October 5th, 2025.

Topic : Responsible Christianity.

Memory Verse :Philippians 2:15. so that you may be innocent and pure as God’s perfect children, who live in a world of corrupt and sinful people. You must shine among them like stars lighting up the sky,

Bible Reading : Philippians 2:12-14 GNB. Key Verse : v12.

So then, dear friends, as you always obeyed me when I was with you, it is even more important that you obey me now while I am away from you. Keep on working with fear and trembling to complete your salvation, because God is always at work in you to make you willing and able to obey his own purpose. Do everything without complaining or arguing,

Paul in this chapter wants us to see Jesus as our perfect example in everything we do; in humility, submission to God’s plan and obedience to his commands. That is the sure way to be relevant in the kingdom and to attain greatness and divine uplftment. This is because each and everyone of us are responsible for what becomes of our faith and walk with God. What becomes of our individual relationship with God depends on the sacrifices we are willing to make especially in our privacy to make it work. “He always had the nature of God, but he did not think that by force he should try to remain equal with God. Instead of this, of his own free will he gave up all he had, and took the nature of a servant. He became like a human being and appeared in human likeness. He was humble and walked the path of obedience all the way to death — his death on the cross.” Philippians 2:6-8.

Now, Apostle Paul is telling us that salvation has some instantaneous as well as progressive dimensions. At the point we give our lives to Jesus, he accepts us unto himself and washes us clean from our sins. At that point we don’t relax, but have to go to work in order to make our salvation count and our presence felt within the circles of the family of God where we now belong. On a very important note, we must learn to obey the Lord not only when we are being watched by men, but also in the absence of our leaders or when no one seems to watch us. I want to believe that if God should award marks to things we engage in daily, the things we do willingly when our leaders, fellow believers or men are not watching us will certainly carry higher marks.

Today, we need to learn that is not over till it is over, according to a popular man of God. Till we see Jesus, we just have to keep putting in our best to this noble course with the Lord. In doing this, we have to live with the consciousness that just like salvation, every other things in this life is worked out. They include your career, business, marriage, relationships, etc. You have to consciously make quality investment of time and other resources to anything you attach great value to in life to make them come out with best results for you and people around you. In doing this, we must not forget that every decision we make and every step we take matters in reaching our goals. This means that quality decisions and timely steps will always produce best of results. “Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.” Galatians 6:7 KJV. God’s reward system is always regulated by our works. Our inputs certainly will determine what output will look like at the end.

Prayer : Thank you Father God for your love that made give up Jesus to make my life coubt before you. From today help me to put my best always in my walk with you including every other of my daily involvements. Thank you for a harvest of victories and testimonies in Jesus wonderful name…… Amen 🙏🏿.

A New Status With Responsibility

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Saturday October 4th, 2025.

Topic :A New Status With Responsibility.

Memory Verse :1 Peter 2:11 Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul;

Bible Reading :1 Peter 2:1-4 KJV. Key Verse : v1.

Wherefore laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speakings, As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby: If so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious. To whom coming, as unto a living stone, disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of God, and precious,

This time Apostle Peter is writing to give us understanding of who we have become in Christ Jesus, so that we can walk in the reality of God’s plan and purpose which is made possible through the channel of redemption. In the first place, we need to drop whatever is of the old nature of sin which we gave up, so that we can have Jesus and live by his Spirit and word. Anywhere things that have to do with the nature of sin is found, they slow men down and make them unproductive in the kingdom against the will of God. Now, our kingdom involvement is like a long distance journey or race according to what is written here. The lighter any participant is therefore, the faster he can move. Every modern athlete tries to put on the lightest materials on their body while competing to enable them move as fast as they can. Just like the athlete we don’t need any weight because they slow down growth and maturity and limit impact at the end.

The thing we need here is to be desirous of the pure word of God that is able to fire up our spirit man and supply the strength or energy we need to keep moving. In the natural world, a petrol engine in good condition will not answer you no matter what you do to it if you don’t give it the premium motor spirit that fires it on. In like manner, the word of God doesn’t only feed our spirit man, but goes far to provide the energy we need to thrive successfully unto maturity, whose resultant effect is impactful Christianity.

We must know that our relationship with Jesus launched us into new realities in life. We are now living stones cut from the rock of ages. We live to function in God’s presence as priests of the highest order who are qualified bu grace to stand in his presence all our days and get uncommon results. Our spiritual sacrifices appears in the heavens as prayers of saints. The implication of this is that our status in the spirit changed because we migrated from darkness to light, so that we can be called the people of God. This means that we are now men who act on behalf of Jesus to continue every good work he began here before returning to the father. “But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light: Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.” 1 Peter 2:9-10.

Prayer :Thank you Lord Jesus for for saving my soul, so that I can live to serve your purpose. Help me to overcome everything that is called sin. Keep me from anything that slows men down in the journey of life. Help me to be an effective priest whose life impacts and influences your kingdom here on earth.

Live To Make Christ Known.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Friday October 3rd, 2025.

Topic :Live To Make Christ Known.

Memory Verse :Isaiah 42:12. Let those who live in distant lands     give praise and glory to the Lord!

Bible Reading : Isaiah 42:8-10 GNB. Key Verse : v9.

“I alone am the Lord your God. No other god may share my glory; I will not let idols share my praise. The things I predicted have now come true. Now I will tell you of new things even before they begin to happen.” Sing a new song to the Lord; sing his praise, all the world! Praise him, you that sail the sea; praise him, all creatures of the sea! Sing, distant lands and all who live there!

This chapter caught a glimpse into the ministry of Jesus Christ the redeemer of our souls. The scripture rightly captured that before he appeared on the scene, most of the prophets spoke about him. They had the privilege of knowing the mind of God on time and pressed further in the inquisitive nature of man trying to figure our more details of the days of glory his coming will make possible which all of us are enjoying presently. “It was concerning this salvation that the prophets made careful search and investigation, and they prophesied about this gift which God would give you. They tried to find out when the time would be and how it would come. This was the time to which Christ’s Spirit in them was pointing, in predicting the sufferings that Christ would have to endure and the glory that would follow.” 1 Peter 1:10-11.

When Jesus came, he only laid a foundation that the Apostles of old including ourselves can build on. This means that by extension, every word of promise the father gave him concerning himself are consummated in ourselves who believe and who are here to perpetuate the purpose for which he came to the earth. That is the reason he had to give us his authority and power to use. In doing this, we must note that the purpose of our involvement is to enforce divine justice or will on earth or to make it possible for men to enjoy all that Jesus won through his death and resurrection. “God created the heavens and stretched them out; he fashioned the earth and all that lives there; he gave life and breath to all its people. And now the Lord God says to his servant, “I, the Lord, have called you and given you power to see that justice is done on earth. Through you I will make a covenant with all peoples; through you I will bring light to the nations. You will open the eyes of the blind and set free those who sit in dark prisons.” Isaiah 42:5-7.

This season we are to wake up to the fact that we we are here to make Christ known and to get his kingdom established in the hearts or lives of men anywhere we find ourselves. We are here to open the eyes blinded by religion to the truth so that they can be saved, to enable men build a relationship with their maker. We are here to make sure that all men know and worship the living God, forsaking their idols. When we make him known and lift him up among the nations, he will appear as a man of war in in our lives and situations. In this new season, we have to activate the warrior dimension of our God through praise. “Let those who live in distant lands give praise and glory to the Lord! The Lord goes out to fight like a warrior; he is ready and eager for battle. He gives a war cry, a battle shout; he shows his power against his enemies. God says, “For a long time I kept silent; I did not answer my people. But now the time to act has come; I cry out like a woman in labour. I will destroy the hills and mountains and dry up the grass and trees. I will turn the river valleys into deserts and dry up the pools of water.” Isaiah 42:12.

Prayer :Thank you Lord Jesus for coming to the earth to redeem my soul. Thank you for laying a solid foundation that I can build on in my walk with you. Help me to take advantage of every resources and opportunities made available by grace to make you known. Thank you for making me an enforcer of your will on earth in Jesus wonderful name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Lessons From A Healed Man.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Thursday October 2nd, 2025.

Topic : Lessons From A Healed Man.

Memory Verse :Luke 5:20. When Jesus saw how much faith they had, he said to the man, “Your sins are forgiven, my friend.”

Bible Reading : Luke 5:17-19 GNB. Key Verse : v19.

One day when Jesus was teaching, some Pharisees and teachers of the Law were sitting there who had come from every town in Galilee and Judea and from Jerusalem. The power of the Lord was present for Jesus to heal the sick. Some men came carrying a paralysed man on a bed, and they tried to take him into the house and put him in front of Jesus. Because of the crowd, however, they could find no way to take him in. So they carried him up on the roof, made an opening in the tiles, and let him down on his bed into the middle of the group in front of Jesus.

This very day, Jesus Christ was teaching and all kinds of learned men was there in the audience because he shared wisdom that is beyond human knowledge. And because the wisdom he shared was not of this world, but of God, the power of God was always available to confirm his personality and teachings with extra ordinary signs and wonders. Some men brought their sick and paralysed friend on a bed to be healed. But the crowd was so much that they couldn’t access him. Because they were desperate, they had to devise a means to open the roof of the building at their own cost to lay their sick friend down to where Jesus can minister healing to him.

By the time they were able to lay their friend before Jesus Christ, down from the top of the roof, their faith was confirmed by the master himself. When Jesus saw the strength of their faith, he simply told the sick man that his sins were forgiven. The Pharisees and teachers of the law ignorant of his personality began to reason among themselves that he was speaking blasphemy by making himself equal to God. They had understanding that only God can forgive sins. “Jesus knew their thoughts and said to them, “Why do you think such things? Is it easier to say, ‘Your sins are forgiven you,’ or to say, ‘Get up and walk’?” Luke 5:22-23.

“I will prove to you, then, that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins.” So he said to the paralysed man, “I tell you, get up, pick up your bed, and go home!” At once the man got up in front of them all, took the bed he had been lying on, and went home, praising God. They were all completely amazed! Full of fear, they praised God, saying, “What marvellous things we have seen today!”” Luke 5:24-26. One of the things to learn here is that Jesus is God who came to the earth as a man and not an ordinary prophet which puts him in the right position to forgive sins. Another lesson to learn here is that anywhere the true word of God is being dispensed, the power of God that heals and resolves every difficult issues is always present or available to as many as know how to tap into same. Another thing to learn here is that this power of God, though available responds to men according to their faith. Again sin a destroyer that we must avoid always because it provides the enemy the legal ground to stand and strike. Finally we must realised that faith is always demonstrated by our actions.

Prayer : Thank you Lord Jesus because you are God. Thank you for shedding your blood to cover my sins. Thank you because of your awesome power that is always available to confirm your word. Thank you because this power will work for me now and forever in Jesus wonderful name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Take Advantage Of His Fatherly Instructions.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Wednesday October 1st, 2025.

Topic :Take Advantage Of His Fatherly Instructions.

Memory Verse :Proverbs 4:23. Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.

Bible Reading : Proverbs 4:20-22 KJV. Key Verse : v22.

My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh.

Here God is speaking to us with the status of a father. Anytime God speaks to us as a father, he takes responsibility for our well being, safety, provision and upkeep. If we really want to understand it, we have to look at the type of relationship that exists between a father and a son in the earthly setting. In this relationship, the son always looks upto the father in order to have a good and secure future. It is the father that sets him up in life intentionally. The father watches over the affairs of the son to instruct, guide and train him till he is able to discern between what is right and what is wrong. The instructions of a father therefore becomes a commandment and roadmap that leads the son in the parts of success and fulfillment in life. In like manner, God reveals the depths of his love to us in instruction and correction through the channel of fatherhood as to protect our future. Our own duty here is to discover these instructions and obey or follow them strictly. Read Jeremiah 35:1-10.

Today we are to learn that we are to pay unwavering attention to God’s word knowing that the authority and value it carries that is meant to preserve as well as beautify our lives or make our earthly life most rewarding. We have to fix our gaze on divine instructions daily, till they sink deep down into our subconscious or till they become part of our daily life. The fact that the word is found implies that the meanings they carry are not on the surface. Only men who spend time on the word therefore are able to tap into the revelational dimension of this word. In this revelational dimension, the word receives the breath of the Spirit that activates divine intervention in any given situation. That us how some men are able to interact with the real Life that is hidden in the word of God.

Lastly for today we have to learn to keep the word in the midst of our hearts. This can be achieved through constant meditation. Through meditation, the Spirit of God is able to retain as well as break the word down in a manner that it becomes food for our spirit man that nourishes and gives us strength in our inner man. In doing this, we must note that this word of God is the only instrument that has the capacity to keep our hearts with all diligence, so that we can accurately process issues of life correctly or accurately. That is the reason God laid much emphasis on same when he was commissioning Joshua. “Only be thou strong and very courageous, that thou mayest observe to do according to all the law, which Moses my servant commanded thee: turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that thou mayest prosper whithersoever thou goest. This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.” Joshua. Joshua 1:7-8.

Prayer :Thank you mighty God for fathering me. Thank you for Jesus Christ who made this possible by his sacrifice for sin. From today, help me to understand and relate with you as a father in everything I do, so that your blessing can be seen in everything I do in Jesus wonderful name…… Amen 🙏🏿.

Always Give God The Glory.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Tuesday September 30th, 2025.

Topic :Always Give God The Glory.

Memory Verse :Acts 3:15. You killed the one who leads to life, but God raised him from death — and we are witnesses to this.

Bible Reading : Acts 3:12-14 GNB. Key Verse : v13.

When Peter saw the people, he said to them, “Fellow-Israelites, why are you surprised at this, and why do you stare at us? Do you think that it was by means of our own power or godliness that we made this man walk? The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the God of our ancestors, has given divine glory to his Servant Jesus. But you handed him over to the authorities, and you rejected him in Pilate’s presence, even after Pilate had decided to set him free. He was holy and good, but you rejected him, and instead you asked Pilate to do you the favour of turning loose a murderer.

Apostle Peter and John was going to the place of prayer this time when they encountered a man who had been lame from birth. This very young man survived by being wheeled to the entrance of the temple called beautiful where he begged for alms daily. When he saw the Apostles coming to the place of prayer, he fixed his eyes on them expecting to receive some piece of money as usual. But this time, God was out to change his story. “So he looked at them, expecting to get something from them. But Peter said to him, “I have no money at all, but I give you what I have: in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth I order you to get up and walk!” Then he took him by his right-hand and helped him up. At once the man’s feet and ankles became strong; he jumped up, stood on his feet, and started walking around. Then he went into the Temple with them, walking and jumping and praising God.” Acts 3:5-8.

The people watching was struck with awe because of this miraculous healing and restoration of sound health through this encounter with Peter and John. They gathered round them as the healed man out of excitement held on the servants of God rejoicing. The disciples used that opportunity to return the glory to Jesus and to call them to repentance from their rebellious and evil ways. Peter was quick to move the attention of his audience from looking at themselves as being responsible for the miracle. He made them know that Jesus Christ whom they rejected and crucified and who arose from the dead, was responsible to the healing. He made them understand that that very miracle was a pointer to the fact that Jesus Christ truly arose from the dead and therefore lives forevermore.

Today we have to learn that miracles are a seal or proof that Jesus Christ in whose name they are always done is real and alive. Only a living man or God can make things happen that the eyes can see. Again we have to learn also that bearing witness of Jesus Christ as saviour, redeemer and king is key to activating divine intervention in fulfillment of the scripture. We must therefore learn to return all glory to him anytime he does awasome things in our lives or through us. “And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.” KJV.

Prayer :Thank you Father God for exalting the name of Jesus Christ your son about every other. As I bear witness of your goodness and redemptive grace, fill my life and ministry with your mighty miracles. Thank you for counting me worthy to bear witness of the truth in Jesus wonderful name….. Amen 🙏🏿.

Keys To Getting God Involved.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Monday September 29th, 2025.

Topic : Keys To Getting God Involved.

Memory Verse : 2 Thessalonians 3:4. And the Lord gives us confidence in you, and we are sure that you are doing and will continue to do what we tell you.

Bible Reading : 2 Thessalonians 3:1-3 GNB. Key Verse : v3.

Finally, our brothers and sisters, pray for us, that the Lord’s message may continue to spread rapidly and be received with honour, just as it was among you. Pray also that God will rescue us from wicked and evil people; for not everyone believes the message. But the Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen you and keep you safe from the Evil One.

Apostle Paul here was writing to encourage believers in the Thessalonians territory. He was trying to address issues they had on ground. He had to encourage, strengthen and comfort them as need arose among them that period. He prayed for them knowing that without prayers, those believers can’t achieve much. In the place of prayer, we get God involved in the affairs of men. When God gets involved, the results will always be there to speak for itself. “I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;” 1 Timothy 2:1-3 KJV.

Here we see Apostle Paul soliciting for prayers from these believers. They had to pray that the gospel will flow unhindered, so that it could reach men God intends to reach and that every hearer will be open and receptive to the truth as to partake of the blessing of life and Spirit in the word. He asked that their prayers should touch himself and others who laboured in the word to be shielded by the Spirit of God from the negative activities of enemies of the gospel. These are men who make themselves available tools in the hands of the devil to stand against the move of the Holy Spirit to their destruction. Elymas the sorcerer is a good example of such men, who tried to subvert the mind of the deputy from receiving the gospel. “And now, behold, the hand of the Lord is upon thee, and thou shalt be blind, not seeing the sun for a season. And immediately there fell on him a mist and a darkness; and he went about seeking some to lead him by the hand. Then the deputy, when he saw what was done, believed, being astonished at the doctrine of the Lord.” Acts 13:11-12 KJV.

Finally he prayed for them in v3 to be strengthened by the Spirit of God and to be kept safe from the onslaught of the evil one as believers. James rightly wrote that the enemy goes about just like a roaring lion looking for whom he may devour. In v4 he made them and ourselves understand that the key to safety is in doing what they were taught by themselves as fathers of faith set to watch over them by the Lord. Today we must learn that the key to our preservation and safety no matter what the enemy does includes doing what is right or what we are taught in the word. When we obey the word, it becomes effective in our lives and begins to produce uncommon results in our lives. One of the reasons the word can’t work for many in their situations is because they walk in disobedience. “But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.” James 1:25 KJV.

Prayer :Thank you Father God for teaching me the way of fruitfulness in your word. From today, help me to live prayerful, so that I can always secure your intervention in the affairs of men. Help me to always obey your word, so that your word can always command uncommon results in my life in Jesus wonderful name….. Amen 🙏🏿.

The Mandate And The Price.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Sunday September 28th, 2025.

Topic :The Mandate And The Price.

Memory Verse :2 Corinthians 4:7. Yet we who have this spiritual treasure are like common clay pots, in order to show that the supreme power belongs to God, not to us.

Bible Reading : 2 Corinthians 4:8-10 GNB. Key Verse : v10.

We are often troubled, but not crushed; sometimes in doubt, but never in despair; there are many enemies, but we are never without a friend; and though badly hurt at times, we are not destroyed. At all times we carry in our mortal bodies the death of Jesus, so that his life also may be seen in our bodies.

Being a follower of Christ is a commitment we have to make with the understanding that it comes with a lot of responsibilities. In the first place, we become custodians of his secrets that are sacred. Our relationship and dealings with him exposes us to deep things about his personality and kingdom that are difficult to explain to the ordinary man, who will want to break same down with his human senses that leads nowhere. Paul testified about hearing and seeing things while interacting with the realm of God that are difficult to explain to men. Even John while receiving the book of Revelations saw and heard things while in the Spirit that he was forbidden from sharing with mortal men in the entire universe. These are pointers to the established fact that God keeps his secrets with men who had built trust in him.

On a second note, redemption granted us unfettered access to grace. Grace on it’s own makes us to become living witnesses of Jesus. This implies that we are to share our experience of him with other people anywhere we find ourselves. In bearing witness of him, we have to take into consideration that there are evil forces who are contending for space in the in the lives of men we are reaching or trying to reach out to. We have to therefore prayerfully subdue those forces of darkness that intend to keep men blinded from the truth they ought to perceive. That makes such individuals not to understand the message of the cross, as to take advantage of same. Another factor that will help us win men to the side of Jesus through our witnesses is the life we live. “We put aside all secret and shameful deeds; we do not act with deceit, nor do we falsify the word of God. In the full light of truth we live in God’s sight and try to commend ourselves to everyone’s good conscience.” 2 Corinthians 4.

On a very important note, we have to know that following Jesus comes at a cost. One of the things this adventure will cost you is your very life. You will need to come to a point where you give up your own personal pursuits and pleasure that stands on the way of the Lord in his relationship with you. This becomes possible when we understand that Jesus died to save us, so that we live to serve his purpose forever. This understanding is what helps a believer to weather every storm of challenges, when they come our way, trying to plant the seed of fear and discouragement in our hearts. “For this reason we never become discouraged. Even though our physical being is gradually decaying, yet our spiritual being is renewed day after day.. And this small and temporary trouble we suffer will bring us a tremendous and eternal glory, much greater than the trouble.” 2 Corinthians 4:16-17.

Prayer : Thank you Lord Jesus for saving my soul and choosing me to become your representative on earth. Help me by your Spirit to be an effective witness who is able to bring many into the paths of righteousness in Jesus wonderful name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Learn Wisdom From Our Fathers.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Saturday September 27th, 2025.

Topic : Learn Wisdom From Our Fathers.

Memory Verse :1 Kings 94. If you will serve me in honesty and integrity, as your father David did, and if you obey my laws and do everything I have commanded you,

Bible Reading : 1 Kings 9:5-7 GNB. Key Verse : v5.

I will keep the promise I made to your father David when I told him that Israel would always be ruled by his descendants. But if you or your descendants stop following me, if you disobey the laws and commands I have given you, and worship other gods, then I will remove my people Israel from the land that I have given them. I will also abandon this Temple which I have consecrated as the place where I am to be worshipped. People everywhere will ridicule Israel and treat her with contempt.

From the beginning of creation, God was very specific to let man understand that he was different from every other creature. Man was made in the image and likeness of God, so that God can relate with him, as well as express himself in him and through him. That is the reason man was made a ruler over every other things created by God. “So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.” Genesis 1:27-29 KJV.

If you study the Bible closely, you will discover that as many as lived their lives to fulfill God’s purpose and plan became great and exceptionally successful because they enjoyed special privileges from his presence. Coming to King Solomon whom we are looking at what transpired between him and God, we will understand that he was able to warn himself into the heart of God on time during his reign as king after his father David, because he prioritised divine assignment and purpose in his life. When he had opportunity to ask anything he wanted from God, he kept his personal needs aside to demand for wisdom to use and work for God and his people. That became the turning point in his life. “And God gave Solomon wisdom and understanding exceeding much, and largeness of heart, even as the sand that is on the sea shore. And Solomon’s wisdom excelled the wisdom of all the children of the east country, and all the wisdom of Egypt.. For he was wiser than all men; than Ethan the Ezrahite, and Heman, and Chalcol, and Darda, the sons of Mahol: and his fame was in all nations round about.” 1 Kings 4:29-31 KJV.

After king Solomon built and dedicated the temple to God for his worship to the best of his ability, the Lord appeared to him for a second time to validate the covenant of perpetuity of blessing he had with his father David. For Solomon to continue to enjoy the best of God and pass same to the next generation, he needed to serve the Lord in honesty and integrity of heart just like David himself. He needed to obey the laws and commands of the Lord in everything. Even today, the blessings God gave our fathers in the Bible are still available in our days. It is possible for us to walk closely with him and live in his presence the rest of our days, only when we consciously decide to walk in his ways, just like the fathers. We have to study their lives as to know those things they did that made God commit himself to them in such a manner he did, as to follow their examples. Again we have study to know those areas they made mistakes as to avoid same. God documented their lives and dealings through men and by the help of the Holy Spirit, so that ourselves can through them learn wisdom. “All these things happened to them as examples for others, and they were written down as a warning for us. For we live at a time when the end is about to come.” 1 Corinthians 10.

Prayer :Thank you Father God for teaching me your wisdom that preserve generations through your dealings with men of old. Help me to always prioritise living for you and doing your will just like themselves. Let my heart be such that is acceptable before you always. Help me to live to please you all my days in Jesus wonderful name….. Amen 🙏🏿.

Make The Lord Your Refuge.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Friday September 26th, 2025.

Topic : Make The Lord Your Refuge.

Memory Verse :Psalms 91:13. Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet.

Bible Reading : Psalms 91:14-16 KJV. Key Verse: v15.

Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name. He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him. With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.

There are scholars who submit that this Psalms was written by Moses. While another school of thought believe that Psalms 91 was penned down by David to highlight some of the numerous benefits we enjoy when we serve the Lord. “He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust. Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence. He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.” Psalms 91:1-5.

The first thing to note here is the Lord himself is a spiritual territory and mighty fortress where men take refuge for safety. Like a mother hen or bird, he desires to gather us under the shadow of his mighty and secure wings where the enemy is not able to access us for any reason. We also need to observe that the key to staying there is in intimate relationship. This intimate relationship is what gives God the legal ground to defend us by engaging our enemies wherever they rise up against us like a flood. This is the secret behind the invincibility of the believer. “Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day; Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday. A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee. Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked. Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation; There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.” Psalms 91:5-10.

Today Jesus is telling us that he is our sure ground of protection, if only we can make up our minds to trust him enough as to hide ourselves and all we possess in him. Many people in our days are living in fear of the unknown ; they fear everything around them except God. Anytime men think they have what it takes to live their lives outside the protective covering of the almighty, such individuals end up being afraid of things that would have been afraid of themselves, because they lack the truth which is a shield and a buckler to us. Those who serve the Lord and live with him and for him is secured with an assurance of walking in the company of his mighty angels who excel in strength. These angels are detailed by heaven to guard and help us fulfil divine purpose here on earth. The knowledge of God therefore delivers men from a life of fear, defeat and terror. Daniel rightly submitted that those who know their God, will be strong and will definitely walk in the realms of exploits in their lifetime. This means that the call to walk with the Lord upon the life of a man is a call to live a life of impact and victory.

Prayer : Thank you Father God because you are my shield and my hiding place. From today, I make up my mind to walk with you and hide myself in you. Thank you for keeping me by your word that cannot fail. Thank you for being my protection and making me walk in the paths of safety all my days in Jesus wonderful name…. Amen 🙏🏿.
