Promise Keeper God

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONAL.

Monday 9th October, 2023.

Topic: Promise Keeper God.

Memory Verse :Isaiah 43:5. Fear not: for I am with thee: I will bring thy seed from the east, and gather thee from the west;

Bible Reading :Isaiah 43:1-3. Key Verse :v2.

But now thus saith the LORD that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine. When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee. For I am the LORD thy God, the Holy One of Israel, thy Saviour: I gave Egypt for thy ransom, Ethiopia and Seba for thee.

It pays to serve God or live a covenant life here on earth. The covenant of God speaking over the life of Jacob turned his weakness into strength. Even in his struggles he had an encounter with God that changed his entire life from being a trickster to father of nations. “And he said, Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel: for as a prince hast thou power with God and with men, and hast prevailed. And Jacob asked him, and said, Tell me, I pray thee, thy name. And he said, Wherefore is it that thou dost ask after my name? And he blessed him there. And Jacob called the name of the place Peniel: for I have seen God face to face, and my life is preserved.” Genesis 32:28-30.

It is not enough for us to surrender our lives to Jesus Christ. There is need for growth and maturity in him. We need to be able to develop a walk with him, as to take best advantage of numerous heavenly resources that solidifies our lives and relationship with God Almighty. At this point we become one with him because it is a life of union which makes his presence available to us all the time. His presence makes the difference in every life. The presence of God in the life of a man, gives him an edge over his contemporaries by making divine capacity available to us. That is the reason for a different kind of results because we bear his name. This means that we have become his property. Because we belong to him, he watches over our affairs with jealousy to make sure that what stops others in life won’t stop us. His presence grants us extra ordinary results in life. At this juncture, the rivers and fires of life whose effect in the lives of men are always disastrous becomes a blessing to us rather. Luke 10:18-19.

All these privileges becomes possible through the channel of redemption. Today realise that God created you. Never forget that he had a good and great plan for your life which the flood waters and fires of trial of faith cannot stop. All you need when you encounter these challenges is to remember who you are before your maker and redeemer as to stay on his promises. The promises of God cannot fail any man. “Yea, before the day was I am he; and there is none that can deliver out of my hand: I will work, and who shall let it? Thus saith the LORD, your redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; For your sake I have sent to Babylon, and have brought down all their nobles, and the Chaldeans, whose cry is in the ships. I am the LORD, your Holy One, the creator of Israel, your King. Thus saith the LORD, which maketh a way in the sea, and a path in the mighty waters;” Isaiah 43:13-16.

Prayer : Thank you Father God for making me your own. Today I ask that you help me grow into spiritual maturity. Let me carry your presence that makes the difference anywhere I go and in anything I do. Let results speak for me from today in all I do, as evidence of your presence in Jesus wonderful name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Pursuing God’s Plan

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONAL.

Sunday 8th October, 2023.

Topic: Pursing God’s Plan.

Memory Verse :Hebrews 6:12. That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.

Bible Reading :Hebrews 6:9-11. Key Verse :v9.

But, beloved, we are persuaded better things of you, and things that accompany salvation, though we thus speak.

For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister. And we desire that every one of you do shew the same diligence to the full assurance of hope unto the end:

At the point we encounter the love of God as displayed by the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ and submit our lives to him, the journey of salvation begins. Ths journey of salvation is that of faith and the way is full of sacrifices. These sacrifices we make count before God here on earth and after here, as they add colour to our relationship with our maker. They go a long way to control what comes out of our relationship with the Father both in this life and in eternity. These sacrifices are part of our labour of love for God and his kingdom (the brethren). They give us cumulative heacenly points that affect many things including eternal reward at the end. “For God, the Faithful One, is not unfair. How can he forget the work you have done for him? He remembers the love you demonstrate as you continually serve his beloved ones for the glory of his name.” Hebrews 6:10 TPT.

Now there’s need for us to make progress to develop a working relationship with God by his Spirit, that is the only way we can cultivate a healthy walk with him. When we relate with him on daily basis, his nature keeps rubbing off on us as we appear before him. That is the reason for growth and maturity. Growth and maturity is key to discovering his plan for our lives and pursuing such. These plans comes somerimes as promises and at other times revelations whereby God tries to paints a picture of the future to us to ignite a hunger that will make us pursue such vigorously., “And, behold, the word of the LORD came unto him, saying, This shall not be thine heir; but he that shall come forth out of thine own bowels shall be thine heir. And he brought him forth abroad, and said, Look now toward heaven, and tell the stars, if thou be able to number them: and he said unto him, So shall thy seed be. And he believed in the LORD; and he counted it to him for righteousness.” Genesis 15:4-6. See also Mathew 4:19.

After we have known God’s plan for our lives, it is left for us to pursue such by faith and with much patience. Men that walk with God must trust him to always deliver at the right time which is always regulated by his sovereign self. The evidence of unwavering trust in God’s ability to deliver is always displayed in patience. If you can’t wait for God’s timing, it shows that your trust in him is weak or not functional. By trust and patience, men are able to birth great plan of God for their lives. “Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations, according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be. And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sara’s womb: He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;” Romans 4:18-20.

Prayer : Thank you Father God because of your good plan for my life. Open the eyes my understanding to know and pursue your plan for my life. Help me not to fail. Keep me stable on the paths of faith and patience till I walk in full accomplishment of your good plan for my life unto eternal victory in Jesus blessed name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Making Grace Count

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONAL.

Saturday 7th October, 2023.

Topic: Making Grace Count.

Memory Verse : 2 Corinthians 6:4. But in all things approving ourselves as the ministers of God, in much patience, in afflictions, in necessities, in distresses,

Bible Reading :2 Corinthians 6:1-3. Key Verse :v1.

We then, as workers together with him, beseech you also that ye receive not the grace of God in vain. (For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.) Giving no offence in any thing, that the ministry be not blamed:

Grace is that magnanimous dimension of God that drops on a man things that he is not qualified for. Through the channel of grace we who were sinners and far away from the covenant were redeemed and restored to a place of fellowship with the Father and by the help of his Spirit. We are now sons and daughters of the most high God. *Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory: Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls. Of which salvation the prophets have enquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you: Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow.” 1 Peter 1:8-11.

Now the purpose of grace is for transformation and empowerment of the beneficiary. The transformational espect of grace causes the old man of sin to die in us, so that the new can be activated. The empowerment dimension of grace causes the release of power into our spirit man for daily christian living and to carry out divine assignment. “He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. He came unto his own, and his own received him not. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.” John 1:10-13.

Grace is an investment of heavenly resources. Every investment therefore is expected to yield dividends. In like manner, we have to consciously labour to make the grace of God as invested in us count in life by reason of impact. This impact can be in the form of our changed lives that makes us a blessing to as many as come across us in life. Another way of making grace count in our lives is by making ourselves available to be used by God himself to win our World back to our Lord and Savior. “And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and5 hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God.” 2 Corinthians 5:18-20.

Prayer :Thank you Father God because your grace invested in my life can never be in vain. Help me to live in fellowship with you by your Spirit. Let my life manifest the beauty of your grace by reason of impact in Jesus precious name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Transformational Miracle

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONAL.

Friday 6th October, 2023.

Topic: Transformational Miracle.

Memory Verse: John 9:25. He answered and said, Whether he be a sinner or no, I know not: one thing I know, that, whereas I was blind, now I see.

Bible Reading: John 9:7-9. Key Verse: v9.

And said unto him, Go, wash in the pool of Siloam, (which is by interpretation, Sent.) He went his way, therefore, and washed, and came seeing. The neighbors, therefore, and they which before had seen him that he was blind, said, Is not this he that sat and begged? Some said, This is he: others said, He is like him: but he said, I am he.

Jesus Christ was passing on the way on a sabbath day and met a man born blind without eye sockets. His condition was hopeless and pitiable. The disciples began to ask the master why the man was born in that condition, if it was because of the sin of his biological parents or himself that got him into that abnormal condition. But he let them know that the man was born in that condition not because of the sins of anybody, but as a display of the creative power of God. “As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world. When he had thus spoken, he spat on the ground and made clay of the spittle, and he anointed the eyes of the blind man with the clay, And said unto him, Go, wash in the pool of Siloam, (which is by interpretation, Sent.) He went his way, therefore, and washed, and came seeing.” John 9:5-7,25.

Now, this transformational miracle was so strong that many who knew the previous condition of the blind young man couldn’t believe it was the same man who was going about seeing and glorifying God. The religious leaders of their day tried everything within their reach to discredit the miracle by trying to run down the person of Jesus Christ for healing on a sabbath day, but the young man was adamant in sharing his testimony to whoever cared to listen.”Then again called they the man that was blind, and said unto him, Give God the praise: we know that this man is a sinner. He answered and said, Whether he be a sinner or no, I know not: one thing I know, that, whereas I was blind, now I see. Then said they to him again, What did he to thee? how opened he thine eyes? He answered them, I have told you already, and ye did not hear: wherefore would ye hear it again? will ye also be his disciples?” John 9:24-27.

The religious leaders of those days could not recognize the move of God in their generation. They read Moses and the law without coming to the realization that Jesus Christ himself was a fulfillment of prophecy. Their understanding was beclouded by envy as they saw him as commanding all the attention they thought they deserved. Today, ask the Lord to do a new work in your life that will cause men who thought they had known you to know you again like that young man. Jesus is still in the business of transforming lives and destinies even today. “Thus saith the LORD the maker thereof, the LORD that formed it, to establish it; the LORD is his name; Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not. For thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel, concerning the houses of this city, and concerning the houses of the kings of Judah, which are thrown down by the mounts, and by the sword;” Jeremiah 33:2-4.

Prayer: Thank you Lord Jesus because you are God. I give you glory because there is no situation you can’t change even in my own life. Today I ask that you touch…………of my life. Do a transformational work in my life that I may give you the glory in Jesus’s precious name….. Amen 🙏🏿.

Conditions For Divine Intervention

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONAL.

Thursday 5th October, 2023.

Topic: Conditions For Divine Intervention.

Memory Verse :Psalms 34:19. Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all.

Bible Reading :Psalms 34:14-18. Key Verse :v14

Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it. The eyes of the LORD are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry. The face of the LORD is against them that do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth. The righteous cry, and the LORD heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles. The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.

God is interested in the totality of the well being of mankind. That is the reason he is able to put up a plan of redemption for man’s restoration after the fall. A redemption he got at an exhorbitant cost, even the blood of Jesus Christ, his only begotten son. Haven given us his one and only son on the cross as a sacrifice for sin, tbere is nothing good and precious he will withold from us. The Lord is interested in every details of our lives, including defense, provision and protection, etc. “And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows.” Matthew 10:28-31.

God watches over all his creatures to care for their needs, no matter how insignificant and helpless they may look. As men, all we need to enjoy the blessing of his intervention anytime or day is to separate ourselves from everything that is evil or that which doesn’t glorify God. We have to always do that which is good and accepted before him. We won’t stop there, but take further steps to pursue peace and keep it as much as it is within our power or control. When we have done all these, we will qualify to command his intervention anytime we need it. “Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow. Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:” Isaiah 1:17-19.

The Lord can never resist the cry of the righteous. His ears will always be open for he will always rescue the weak and afflicted. Today, as you humble yourself before the Lord, he will work a mighty deliverance in your life and you you shall glorify him. “O magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt his name together. I sought the LORD, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears. They looked unto him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed. This poor man cried, and the LORD heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles. The angel of the LORD encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them. O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.” Psalms 34:3-8.

Prayer :Thank you Father God for your commitment to my total well being. Today, as I turn away from anything that doesn’t glorify you, take over every battles of my life. As I seek your face, put a new song in my mouth. Let my testimonies draw men to you in Jesus Precious name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Stability

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONAL.

Wednesday 4th October, 2023.

Topic: Stability.

Memory Verse : Colossians 2:9. For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.

Bible Reading : Colossians 2:6-8. Key Verse :v7.

As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him: Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving. Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.

Apostle Paul in his letter to the colossian Church tried to reveal the personality of Christ Jesus to us in a deeper dimension. The truth of God has been under attack from the camp of false men and teachers from the beginning. Such false teachers are always there even today. Most time the mix some truth with lies to deceive the unsuspecting. “But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of. And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not.” 2 Peter 2:1-3.

The only way we can prevail over men who peddle falsehood in the name of Christianity is to be properly rooted and grounded in the faith. After we give our lives to Jesus, there’s need for each of us to consciously remain in him, know him and walk within the ambits of his commandments because therein lies our safety. We have to work hard to get involved in activities that encourages spiritual growth. We can only take our roots down the soil of faith when we experience growth or maturity which in turn gives us a firm stand in him. Again, we can only be built up in the faith when we consciously fellowship with genuine brethren and by exposing ourselves to anointed teachers of the truth. When we have done all this, we will see ourselves walk in stability in him because of establishment that has takes place. That’s when we can’t be carried around by all kinds of wind of teachings.

On a very important note, we have to realise that everything we need in God Almighty as our father is found in Jesus Christ. Though he came in the body as a man to the earth, he represented everything about God in a body form. This is to enable us handle and relate with him in our weakness and not be destroyed. We don’t need any other form of manifestation of God outside Jesus Christ. He taught us everything we need to know about God, having been with him in glory from the beginning.

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men.” John 1:1-4.

Prayer :Thank you Father God for revealing yourself to mankind through Jesus Christ. Help me walk with Christ daily. Let me be rooted and grounded in him forever. Keep me safe and stable in you forever in Jesus precious name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

The New Life

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONAL.

Tuesday 3rd October, 2023.

Topic: The New Life.

Memory Verse :The Passion Translation Ephesians 3:13. My dear friends, I pray that you will remain strong and not be discouraged or ashamed by all that I suffer on your behalf, for it is for your glory.

Bible Reading :Ephesians 3:5-6 TPT. Key Verse : v6.

There has never been a generation that has been given the detailed understanding of this glorious and divine mystery until now. He kept it a secret until this generation. God is revealing it only now to his sacred apostles and prophets by the Holy Spirit. Here’s the secret: The gospel of grace has made you, non-Jewish believers, into coheirs of his promise through your union with him. And you have now become members of his body—one with the Anointed One!

Christianity is a life of oneness with God Almighty. When we receive the gift of salvation through Jesus Christ as offered to mankind by the finished work of the cross, we get initiated into a life of union with him. He becomes part of us here on earth while we become part of him in return, seated with him. live in his presence in the heavenlies, even as we carry his presence here on earth, anywhere we find ourselves. This is because Jesus desired it ti be so. “That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me. Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.”
John 17:21,23-24 KJV.

We have become members of the divine family. We are not strangers, but sons and daughters of the King of Kings. We share in the riches and glory of our father as joint heirs of with Jesus himself. This status grants us unfettered access to the father. Because of what Jesus Christ had done, we now have rights and privileges that is beyond every head knowledge of men. “Throug our union with Christ we too have been claimed by God as his own inheritance. Before we were even born, he gave us our destiny; that we would fulfill the plan of God who always accomplishes every purpose and plan in his heart. God’s purpose was that we Jews, who were the first to long for the messianic hope, would be the first to believe in the Anointed One and bring great praise and glory to God!”
Ephesians 1:11-12.

The blessings of God are spiritual and not material. However, anywhere the blessing exist, they attract everything that makes life good including quality men and material things. Wise men therefore learn to pursue God.”So I kneel humbly in awe before the Father of our Lord Jesus, the Messiah, the perfect Father of every father and child in heaven and on the earth. And I pray that he would unveil within you the unlimited riches of his glory and favor until supernatural strength floods your innermost being with his divine might and explosive power.” Ephesians 3:14-16.

Prayer:Thank you Lord Jesus for your love that made you die for me to have a new life. Thank you for blessing me. From today open the eyes of my understanding to know all you have made available to me as a member of divine family and joint heir with you in Jesus Precious name….. Amen 🙏🏿.

Extra Oil

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONAL.

Monday 2nd October, 2023.

Topic: Extra Oil.

Memory Verse Matthew 25:13. “That is the reason you should always stay awake and be alert, because you don’t know the day or hour when the Bridegroom will appear.”

Bible Reading : Matthew 25:10-12 TPT. Key Verse : v10.

“While the five girls were out buying oil, the bridegroom appeared. Those who were ready and waiting were escorted inside with him and the wedding party to enjoy the feast. And then the door was locked. Later, the five foolish girls came running up to the door and pleaded, ‘Lord, Lord, let us come in!’ “But he called back, ‘Go away! Do I know you? I can assure you, I don’t even know you!’

Jesus Christ used the parable of the ten virgins to paint a picture of what his second coming will look like among believers or those awaiting for his return. Many things always happen between the time of preparation and an event itself. In like manner, as men await the return of Jesus Christ to the earth in his glory, aa he promised, we need to understand what is likely to happen to as many as are involved in the waiting and attendant preparations. “When the bridegroom didn’t come when they expected, they all grew drowsy and fell asleep. Then suddenly, in the middle of the night, they were awakened by the shout ‘Get up! The bridegroom is here! Come out and have an encounter with him!’ So all the girls got up and trimmed their lamps.” Matthew 25:5-7.

In the course of waiting, their level of readiness to receive the awaited bridegroom divided them into the camp of the wise and that of the foolish. The wise came to wait with their lamps lit and carried extra oil, should the waiting stretch longer than expected. On the other hand, the camp of the foolish came with their lantern only without any extra oil. They made no provision for the unexpected. Their preparation was shallow, but they never knew till when it was late. When it was heralded that the awaited bridegroom had arrived and the Virgins were urged to welcome him, the fooling disappeared that their lantern needed refuelling, but there was no extra oil on them. They wanted to make up for their folly by borrowing from their friends, who could not assist them. Finally, they had no choice but to go to buy from sellers at an odd hour when it will take a miracle to get the sellers. Before they returned the door was closed against them. All they efforts they put up became wasted as they were shut out.

The oil here is a symbol of the Holy Spirit. As we await the return of the Lord, we are to keep the oil of our spirit man always at the right level. We have to go extra mile to be on the alert and on fire. We must avoid anything that will quench our fire. Again we have to beware of spiritual slumber as the time gets prolonged. The foolish virgins used the time they would have used get extra oil to sleep. We hto be always at alert and sober as we await his return. “So all the girls got up and trimmed their lamps. But the foolish ones were running out of oil, so they said to the five wise ones, ‘Share your oil with us, because our lamps are going out!’ “‘We can’t,’ they replied. ‘We don’t have enough for all of us. You’ll have to go and buy some for yourselves!’ “While the five girls were out buying oil, the bridegroom appeared. Those who were ready and waiting were escorted inside with him and the wedding party to enjoy the feast. And then the door was locked.” Matthew 25:7-10.

Prayer : Thank you Father God because you are a covenant keeper. Lord Jesus I don’t want to wait in vain. By your Spirit, help me to know areas I need to work on myself. Prepare me by yourself, make me ready for you just like the wise virgins in Jesus precious name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Key To Fruitfulness

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONAL.

Sunday 1st October, 2023.

Topic: Key To Fruitfulness.

Memory Verse :John 15:8. Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.

Bible Reading :John 15:4-6. Key Verse : v5.

Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.

God created man in his own image and likeness. Looking at God closely, we will discover that he is a good God. As his children’ we have been reconfigured by his indwelling Spirit to bear fruits that depicts his nature. It is God’s desire that we be fruitful in everything we do and that our fruits should remain. When we are fruitful, we fulfill divine purpose and attract divine attention for pruning or dressing, so that we can do more. *After a long time the lord of those servants cometh, and reckoneth with them. And so he that had received five talents came and brought other five talents, saying, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me five talents: behold, I have gained beside them five talents more. His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.” Matthew 25:19-21.

Now we need to understand our position or placement in Christ as to be able to key in properly for the purpose of bearing fruits. Now we must realise that we are just branches or extensions of Christ wherever we find ourselves. As branches, we have to be attached permanently to the tree himself who is Christ Jesus. Our effectiveness depends on how well we relate with him as the source, from whom all the nutrients we need for survival and and fruit bearing flows. “a person is separated from me, he is discarded; such branches are gathered up and thrown into the fire to be burned. But if you live in life-union with me and if my words live powerfully within you—then you can ask whatever you desire and it will be done. When your lives bear abundant fruit, you demonstrate that you are my mature disciples who glorify my Father!” John 15:6-8 If TPT.

This new month and all our life, we must realise that the key to being fruitful is to rely solely on him and him alone. Our ideas or that of other men will certainly fall us. Our wisdom and strength can always be handicapped by circumstances. No man that genuinely looked upto Jesus and followed his instructions in life ever faiiled. “I love each of you with the same love that the Father loves me. You must continually let my love nourish your hearts. If you keep my commands, you will live in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commands, for I continually live nourished and empowered by his love. My purpose for telling you these things is so that the joy that I experience will fill your hearts with overflowing gladness!” John 15:9-11 TPT.

Prayer : Thank you Lord Jesus for being the tree and source of every good thing I need in life. Thank you for making me a branch of your good self. Help me to remain attached to your all the days of my as to bear fruits in everything I do. Let my fruits stand the test of time in Jesus precious name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Saved To Bear Fruits

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONAL.

Saturday 30th September, 2023.

Topic: Saved To Bear Fruits.

Memory Verse: Ephesians 2:9. So no one will ever be able to boast, for salvation is never a reward for good works or human striving.

Bible Reading :Romans 3:9-11 TPT. Key Verse : v25.

So, are we to conclude then that we Jews are superior to all others? Certainly not! For we have already proven that both Jews and gentiles are all under the bondage of sin. And the Scriptures agree, for it is written: There is no one who always does what is right, no, not even one! There is no one with true spiritual insight, and there is no one who seeks after God alone.

No man can please God by his strength or by keeping the law. The law exposed the flawed nature of man, the more we try, the more we are found wanting when exposed to the crutiny of the Spirit of God. This is to let us know that we need help in this direction since our own efforts cannot meet God’s standard. “Throughout the coming ages we will be the visible display of the infinite, limitless riches of his grace and kindness, which was showered upon us in Jesus Christ. For it was only through this wonderful grace that we believed in him. Nothing we did could ever earn this salvation, for it was the gracious gift from God that brought us to Christ! So no one will ever be able to boast, for salvation is never a reward for good works or human striving.” Ephesians 2:7-9.

Grace of God is to humble a man before him. Knowing that we don’t have what it takes to be justified before God by our personal works teaches that we depend of Christ Jesus in the journey of faith for everything, even as we keep striving daily to be like him. In being like him, we are able to manifest the glory he desires to display to our world through our individual lives. “But you are God’s chosen treasure—priests who are kings, a spiritual “nation” set apart as God’s devoted ones. He called you out of darkness to experience his marvelous light, and now he claims you as his very own. He did this so that you would broadcast his glorious wonders throughout the world. For at one time you were not God’s people, but now you are. At one time you knew nothing of God’s mercy, because you hadn’t received it yet, but now you are drenched with it!” 1 Peter 2:9-10

“I have never called you ‘servants,’ because a master doesn’t confide in his servants, and servants don’t always understand what the master is doing. But I call you my most intimate friends, for I reveal to you everything that I’ve heard from my Father. You didn’t choose me, but I’ve chosen and commissioned you to go into the world to bear fruit. And your fruit will last, because whatever you ask of my Father, for my sake, he will give it to you!” John 15:15-16. Today, let us note that the purpose of grace and the gift of righteousness is that we become fruits bearing members of God’s family. Jesus brought us back to the place of intimacy with the father by the help of his Spirit that dwells in us. By the help of the Spirit of God at work in us we are able to bear fruits of righteousness that stands the test of time.

Prayer :Thank you Father God for everything you have done for me through Jesus Christ. Help me to take advantage of all you have done to bear good fruits of righteousness all my days. Ler my fruits stand the test of time in Jesus precious name…. Amen 🙏🏿.
