Strength In Waiting.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Monday January 22nd, 2024.

Topic :Strength In Waiting.

Memory Verse:Isaiah 40:31. But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

Bible Reading :Isaiah 40:28-30. Key Verse : v29.

Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding. He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall:

Every man that ever walked with God did so on God’s terms and not theirs. Because our human nature is flawed, we can make mistakes. Some mistakes can be as a result of wrong judgement especially when we find ourselves in tight corners. Most of the time, we may be tempted to do it our own way as to come out in a jiffy. Many people want things to happen at their own timing. Sometimes we may be tempted to think that God has delayed and try to do something to help things work our faster. Many has fallen into some traps because they ran faster than their creator. Such people end up with much regrets and pain. “There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.” Proverbs 16:25.

Men that become kingdom champions are men who know how to wait on the Lord. I once heard a man of God say that “your waiting time, is not your wasting time”. It is always good to call on God. When we call and answers seems to delay, we will need to seek his face. Seeking his face sometimes may involve waiting. Waiting involves patient faith that keeps holding on till desired changes are made visible . “O that thou wouldest hide me in the grave, that thou wouldest keep me secret, until thy wrath be past, that thou wouldest appoint me a set time, and remember me! If a man die, shall he live again? all the days of my appointed time will I wait, till my change come. Thou shalt call, and I will answer thee: thou wilt have a desire to the work of thine hands .” Job 14:13-15.

The place of waiting is the place of renewal of strength. This is because the place of waiting is the place of fresh encounters that reinforces our convictions in Christ. Convictions on their own are products of personal experiences of God, revelational knowledge and encounters which dispels every form of confusion and doubts in the journey of faith. “That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God. Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness; Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light: Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son :”

Colossians 1:10-13.

Prayer :Thank you Father God because you are ever faithful. Today, I ask for grace to always wait on you anytime need be. Help me not to run faster than you for any reason. Thank you for making me fruitful in you in Jesus wonderful name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Victory By His Word

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Sunday January 21st, 2024.

Topic :Victory By His Word.

Memory Verse :Psalms 107:4. They wandered in the wilderness in a solitary way; they found no city to dwell in.

Bible Reading :Psalms 107:1-3. Key Verse : v3.

O give thanks unto the LORD, for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever. Let the redeemed of the LORD say so, whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy; And gathered them out of the lands, from the east, and from the west, from the north, and from the south.

God is forever faithful in all his dealings. In hiis mercy, he gave up his son Jesus Christ to die to redeem us from our sins and attendant judgement and destruction. He gave up his own life that we might live by himself. Redemption gave us a new lease of life. We have a second chance before our maker to serve him having been delivered from the hands of wicked powers that holds men in captivity of the evil one. “The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light: they that dwell in the land of the shadow of death, upon them hath the light shined. Thou hast multiplied the nation, and not increased the joy: they joy before thee according to the joy in harvest, and as men rejoice when they divide the spoil. For thou hast broken the yoke of his burden, and the staff of his shoulder, the rod of his oppressor, as in the day of Midian.” Isaiah 9:2-4.

Anytime you encounter challenges, never you forget that you are the redeemed of the Lord. Tell the situation, everyone and everything that cares to listen that you are the redeemed of the Lord. Two things the word of God emphasised that guarantees our victory anytime and anyday are the shed blood of the lamb which the enemy of our souls have no answer to his advocacy. The second one is the testimony from our mouths or the word of our testimony. Most time battles of life are fought and won by spoken words. We have to enforce our victory be declaring it loud and clear for the devil to hear and cave in, where he wants to be stubborn. “And I went out after him, and smote him, and delivered it out of his mouth: and when he arose against me, I caught him by his beard, and smote him, and slew him. Thy servant slew both the lion and the bear: and this uncircumcised Philistine shall be as one of them, seeing he hath defied the armies of the living God. David said moreover, The LORD that delivered me out of the paw of the lion, and out of the paw of the bear, he will deliver me out of the hand of this Philistine. And Saul said unto David, Go, and the LORD be with thee.” 1 Samuel 17:35-37.

“Their soul abhorreth all manner of meat; and they draw near unto the gates of death. Then they cry unto the LORD in their trouble, and he saveth them out of their distresses. He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.” Psalms 107:18-20. If you are reading this and is facing challenges, remember that the word of God is all you need to prevail. Confront the situation with what God is saying that settles the case and the enemy will have no choice than to accept the defeat Christ handed him on your behalf. There’s no situation thst can defy the word of God.

Prayer :Thank you Father God because of what you did for me in Christ Jesus my redeemer and saviour. Thank you for the power in your word. I worship you for sending your word to me in difficult times. By your word I prevail in every battles of life in Jesus wonderful name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Don’t Be Weary

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Saturday January 20th, 2024.

Topic: Don’t Be Weary.

Memory Verse:Galatians 6:10. Right now, therefore, every time we get the chance, let us work for the benefit of all, starting with the people closest to us in the community of faith.

Bible Reading : Galatians 6:7-9 MSG. Key Verse : v9.

Don’t be misled: No one makes a fool of God. What a person plants, he will harvest. The person who plants selfishness, ignoring the needs of others—ignoring God!— harvests a crop of weeds. All he’ll have to show for his life is weeds! But the one who plants in response to God, letting God’s Spirit do the growth work in him, harvests a crop of real life, eternal life. So let’s not allow ourselves to get fatigued doing good. At the right time we will harvest a good crop if we don’t give up, or quit.

God’s desire is that every of his children should be a blessing just like himself. One of the ways we can always be a blessing is by giving. It is good to always give to ourselves, but we have no reward from God for anything given to meet our personal needs. ‘Am not saying here that anyone should neglect his/her personal needs in life, but sometimes we should be able to go out of our way to touch lives anytime there is need. We have to be sensitive to identify when there are glaring needs around us in the lives of others that we have the capacity to meet. We should be able to take advantage of such opportunity to sow, so that we can have a harvest tomorrow. God’s intention in creating man is that we should be able to compliment each other or be our brother’s keeper, especially the less privileged. “When you are generous to the poor, you are enriched with blessings in return.” Proverbs 22:9 TPT.

“But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was: and when he saw him, he had compassion on him, And went to him, and bound up his wounds, pouring in oil and wine, and set him on his own beast, and brought him to an inn, and took care of him. And on the morrow when he departed, he took out two pence, and gave them to the host, and said unto him, Take care of him; and whatsoever thou spendest more, when I come again, I will repay thee.” Luke 10:33-35 KJV. Giving to others is always a bye product of love. And love is an attribute of God. Jesus used the parable of the good Samaritan to demonstrate how one who loves goes out of his way could go out of his way to touch the life someone he had not known before meeting him in the pool of his blood after being attacked by robbers on the way.

In sowing, we must understand that there can’t be an instant harvest. The reward system of God is regulated by seasons and time. We can’t therefore reap our harvest when it is not our season or God’s right time. Men that are expectant therefore musr be patient and must not relent in continuity in good works. There may always be some reasons one can feel discouraged, possibly because the harvest is not coming as quickly aa expected or the wrong attitude of some people maybe by way of being ungrateful. Our good works are like trees that outlives us. If you look around you in some homes or families, you will see trees planted by some parents or grandparents or people like that who might be late. Such trees are still standing and keep bearing fruits that those who are left behind keep enjoying, even after the planters are gone. “The benevolent man leaves an inheritance that endures to his children’s children,” Proverbs 13:22a TPT.

Prayer : Thank you Father God because you are love manifested. Thank you for loving me and giving me Jesus. Today, help me to love and always give when you want me to, just like you. Let me not faint in doing good. Help me to so good seeds that generations unborn will reap from, if Christ tarries in Jesus precious name….. Amen 🙏🏿.

kingdom Keys To Establishment.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS

Friday January 19th, 2024.

Topic : kingdom Keys To Establishment.

Memory Verse:1 Kings 9:5. Then I will establish the throne of thy kingdom upon Israel for ever, as I promised to David thy father, saying, There shall not fail thee a man upon the throne of Israel.

Bible Reading :1 Kings 9:2-4. Key Verse: v4.

That the LORD appeared to Solomon the second time, as he had appeared unto him at Gibeon. And the LORD said unto him, I have heard thy prayer and thy supplication, that thou hast made before me: I have hallowed this house, which thou hast built, to put my name there for ever; and mine eyes and mine heart shall be there perpetually. And if thou wilt walk before me, as David thy father walked, in integrity of heart, and in uprightness, to do according to all that I have commanded thee, and wilt keep my statutes and my judgments:

Solomon was a man that knew how to touch the heart of God by doing special things for him. He came to limelight through his uncommon sacrifice of one thousand burnt offerings which was unprecedented. “And the king went to Gibeon to sacrifice there; for that was the great high place: a thousand burnt offerings did Solomon offer upon that altar. In Gibeon the LORD appeared to Solomon in a dream by night: and God said, Ask what I shall give thee. And Solomon said, Thou hast shewed unto thy servant David my father great mercy, according as he walked before thee in truth, and in righteousness, and in uprightness of heart with thee; and thou hast kept for him this great kindness, that thou hast given him a son to sit on his throne, as it is this day.” 1 Kings 3:4-6. The encounter following this singular act changed his entire life.

Now as he just finished building the temple of God in Jerusalem, the Lord came back to him a second time now to establish his throne and the works of his hands. Here God in his usual manner gave him conditions that if he meets, the blessings and promises of God upon the life of his father David will be able to manifest in fulness in his life and he will become whom God wanted him to be. In this second encounter, God assured him of having heard the heartfelt prayers he made at the dedication of the temple. Solomon desired in his prayers that the temple he built won’t just be an ordinary house, but a place of divine encounter where prayers made receves speady attention of God and and answers.. God appreciated his love and ability to give sacrificially, but was giving him a key that will sustain him in God’s presence and make him a force to reckon with all the days of his life and beyond. .

Now, what God told king Solomon then, he is telling us also today. His desire today is that we make our bodies, the place of his habitation. God wants to live in us and function through us. Not only that, he desires that we cultivate a daily walk or sound relationship with him who is our father and source. His desire is that we live in his presence continously. He wants us to follow the footsteps of men of old who walked with him and served him faithfully, so that the covenant blessing he gave them will be visible in our personal lives. As we obey his commands, the resultant effect will be our establishment in total victory. “And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth: And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God.” Deuteronomy 28:1-2.

Prayer : Thank you Father God for teaching me the way to succeed with you. From today, I dedicate my body to you to live in and operate from. Help me to serve you faithfully. Thank you because you will establish me in total victory, as I obey your voice in Jesus wonderful name….. Amen 🙏🏿.

Lessons From Joppa

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Thursday January 18th, 2024.

Topic :Lessons From Joppa.

Memory Verse:Acts 9:40.. Peter put them all out of the room, and knelt down and prayed; then he turned to the body and said, “Tabitha, get up!” She opened her eyes, and when she saw Peter, she sat up.

Bible Reading :Acts 9:36-38 GNB. Key Verse:v41.

In Joppa there was a woman named Tabitha, who was a believer. (Her name in Greek is Dorcas, meaning “a deer”.) She spent all her time doing good and helping the poor. At that time she became ill and died. Her body was washed and laid in a room upstairs. Joppa was not very far from Lydda, and when the believers in Joppa heard that Peter was in Lydda, they sent two men to him with the message, “Please hurry and come to us.”

The Bible is not an ordinary book, but one that is inspired by the grace of by God through his Spirit to teach men how to pattern their lives, following the example of Jesus Christ himself and other great men that walked with God almighty. Here we can see that Dorcas was a believer that was full of good works in her lifetime. She had been a blessing to the less privileged around her. When she took ill and died suddenly, the people she touched their lives refused to let her go just like that. They rather sent for Apostle Peter trusting God for a miracle, so that she will live again.

When Peter arrived, he met some widows displaying clothes she made for them and people who who were crying and making all kinds of noise. He refused to identify with their noise and confusion. He rather sent them all out of the room, so that he could have the right atmosphere to talk to God who holds the keys to life and death. After that, he knelt down to worship and talk to God almighty. When he had God’s backing, he turned the the dead and called her back to life. “Peter put them all out of the room, and knelt down and prayed; then he turned to the body and said, “Tabitha, get up!” She opened her eyes, and when she saw Peter, she sat up. Peter reached over and helped her get up. Then he called all the believers, including the widows, and presented her alive to them. The news about this spread all over Joppa, and many people believed in the Lord.” Acts 9:40-42.

One of things we need to learn by this miracle is that, God does something about ugly situations only when we ourselves (believers) decide to do something. Dorcas would have been buried just like that if not that the believers in Joppa refused let her go. They trusted God to restore her back to life and took concrete steps by sending for Peter whom God used to restore her life for their sake. Jesus was very clear about the authority of the church here on earth in Matthew 16:18-19. We also need to learn from the actions of Peter on arrival, did the right thing by sending away the mourners and noise makers, so that he could communicate with God. In some difficult times, we need to learn to withdraw from the noise of people, the hustling and bustling, so that we can get directions from the master himself. One of the secrets of the impactful earthly ministry of Jesus Christ was the time he withdrew from the crowd to spend time alone on the mountains praying, sometimes all night before taking important decisions and to recharge for his assignment. Anytime he comes down, things begins to happen, Luke 6:12.

Prayer :Thank you Father God because there is nothing you cannot do. From today, help me to understand how to provoke your intervention in every area of my life that I need it. Help me to live a prayerful life, so that my life can manifest your power and glory in Jesus wonderful name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Be Heavenly Minded

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Wednesday January 17th, 2024.

Topic: Be Heavenly Minded!

Memory Verse: Colossians 3. You have been raised to life with Christ, so set your hearts on the things that are in heaven, where Christ sits on his throne at the right-hand side of God.

Bible Reading : Colossians 3:2-4. Key Verse: v2.

Keep your minds fixed on things there, not on things here on earth. For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. Your real life is Christ and when he appears, then you too will appear with him and share his glory!

In this chapter 3 of Colossians, Apostle Paul is trying to help us know how to live a healthy Christian life in practicality. He began by asking us to order our priorities aright, as soon as we cross the line from the paths of destruction to the paths of life. If you listen to many well grounded teachers and preachers of the world today, they will let you know that the level of Spirituality of believers of today is low, compared with those produced many years back, even when the contents of the Bible didn’t change. Now, you will agree with me that if there should be any blames, it should be on the doorstep of we who interpret, preach and teach the scriptures. Maybe we have shifted emphasis on raising heavenly minded Christians to materialistic ones, possibly because of what we think that we stand to gain. “(For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ: Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.)” Philippians 3:18-19 KJV.

There’s something about misplacing priority in life. It makes a man to be busy doing nothing. It is possible for men or believers to do works that looks great and very gigantic here on earth which does not have eternal value or weight before the master. When the work we do does not point men to heaven, when the life we live here on earth is not pointing heavenwards, there’s a big heavenly question mark on such works from the master himself. “The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places, Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:” Ephesians 1:18-21 KJV. We were in him in him in his death and resurrection. When he sat in glory to reign forever, we were in him too. That’s the reason we are able to reign with him in this life, Revelations 5:10.

The power of God is not is short supply in our days, but we have a bulk of believers whose mind has drifted from seeking those things that are found in glory to things on earth which they think will make men recognise, respect and honour them here on earth. The heart is the compass of life, where you fix it is where it will finally navigate you. The things you love are things you can pay any price to have in life, as much as they are within your reach. In this case as you read down the chapter, you will begin to see some prices to pay by putting some parts of your past life to death because if you leave them to remain, you will discover that they have capacity to destroy you. You need also to cut off some other things that can impede your growth or progress, Colossians 3:5-9. At this point, you will be able to take practical steps to put on the new man through knowledge that requires constant updating or renewal via the channel of the Spirit, Colossians 3:10-14. This can only be made possible by the in dwelling power of the word. “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.” Colossians 3:16.

Prayer :Thank you Father God for making me your own. From today, i die to self and any sin that will impede my progress in you. Help me by your Spirit to fix my heart on you and things that are above. Help me to live a life that will manifest your glory in Jesus wonderful name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Serve With Understanding

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Tuesday January 16th, 2024.

Topic : Serve With Understanding.

Memory Verse: Philippians 1:8. Only God knows how much I dearly love you with the tender affection of Jesus, the Anointed One.

Bible Reading : Philippians 1:9-11 TPT. Key Verse: v11.

I continue to pray for your love to grow and increase beyond measure, bringing you into the rich revelation of spiritual insight in all things. This will enable you to choose the most excellent way of all—becoming pure and without offense until the unveiling of Christ. And you will be filled completely with the fruits of righteousness that are found in Jesus, the Anointed One—bringing great praise and glory to God!

Apostle Paul who is a key factor in the new testament was writing to encourage Philippian believers. He founded the Philippian church during his second missionary journey. These believers stood solidly with him, even in the time of persecution, travails and imprisonment. He saw them display Jesus love to him and was in prayers for them to continue in the direction of Christian life that pleased the Lord. We want to see some vital ingredients in the prayers of the Apostle and in the lives of these believers that will be very useful and helpful to us. “I thank my God for you every time I think of you; and every time I pray for you all, I pray with joy because of the way in which you have helped me in the work of the gospel from the very first day until now. And so I am sure that God, who began this good work in you, will carry it on until it is finished on the Day of Christ Jesus.” Philippians 1:3-6 GNB.

One of the qualities that warmed the the Philippian believers into the heart of Paul was that they showed him love and formed a formidable partnership with him in the ministry. Through their giving, Apostle Paul couldn’t suffer lack, and the work committed into his care by the master didn’t suffer because of lack of support. “It’s no wonder I pray with such confidence, since you have a permanent place in my heart! You have remained partners with me in the wonderful grace of God even though I’m here in chains for standing up for the truth of the gospel. Only God knows how much I dearly love you with the tender affection of Jesus, the Anointed One.” Philippians 1:7-8.

The Philippian believers were not ignorant of what the Lord expected of them, rather they were full of revelational insight into their calling and how to fulfil it. Because they knew what to do by revelation and could see/hear beyond the ordinary, they didn’t need anyone to push them before they could do the right thing. Many believers today are failing in their duties because they think they are helping someone else including leaders placed over them when they do the right thing, because they lack revelation and insight in their involvement with God. As a young believer, the Spirit one morning gave me time that I must be in Church every Sunday though I was still going through foundational class and came from a distant place to Church. From that day, I saw being in church before that very early hour as an appointment with God that must be kept. I did everything I could to make sure i get to church before the tick of that given time. There was no reason for me not to beat that time, not to talk of being absent from service. Every service was seen as an appointment with the master kept, which always added value me.

Prayer :Thank you Father God because of your love for me. Today I ask for revelational insight in my service to you. Help me to always know the thing to do as to please you in any given situation and to always do thein Jesus wonderful name….. Amen 🙏🏿.

The Beauty Of Fellowship

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Monday January 15th, 2024.

Topic: The Beauty Of Fellowship

Memory Verse: 1 Corinthians 1:9. God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.

Bible Reading : 1 Corinthians 1:5-8. Key Verse: v5.

That in every thing ye are enriched by him, in all utterance, and in all knowledge; Even as the testimony of Christ was confirmed in you: So that ye come behind in no gift; waiting for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall also confirm you unto the end, that ye may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Our calling as believers is very a important one that need to be understood by ourselves, who ere the carriers for us to maximise our effectiveness in christ. Understanding helps us to have right approach in whatever we do in this life. We therefore need to go for knowledge of God and his plan and purpose for which he called us in the first place, so that we can be fruitful in his hands. The more knowledge we have in any field of endeavour including faith, the more valuable or productive we become.by Knowing the right things we should do in our walk with God st any given situation, helps us to serve him better and to be impactful in our world. Right application of what we know will always make us wise in every activities of life.

In everything we do, we have to stay connected to him always through a life of fellowship. Man was created to depend on God for many reasons through a lifestyle of fellowship first with him and secondly with our fellow brethren. Our fellowship with our maker keeps us in constant flow of spiritual and other resources that is needed for a healthy, stable and balanced Christian life. When we fellowship with the brethren, we are built up and strengthened by droplets of glory that enters us in his presence for continuous transformation till we become just like him. I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” Romans 12:1-2.

Through the channels of fellowship, the Spirit of God is able to uphold as well as lead us in the right paths as our decisions honour him. Not only that, we experience his faithfulness through his interventions that is fresh every morning because of his abundant love and mercies towards us as his children. “If there be therefore any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any bowels and mercies, Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind. Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.” Philippians 2:1-3.

Prayer :Thank you Father God for caring so much about me. From today, help me to cultivate a life of constant fellowship with you and my fellow brethren, by your Spirit at work in me, so that I can bear much fruits in you in Jesus precious name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Divine Strength

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Sunday January 14th, 2024.

Topic: Divine Strength.

Memory Verse:Psalms 18:29. For by thee I have run through a troop; and by my God have I leaped over a wall.

Bible Psalms 18:30-34. Key Verse: v34.

As for God, his way is perfect: the word of the LORD is tried: he is a buckler to all those that trust in him. For who is God save the LORD? or who is a rock save our God? It is God that girdeth me with strength, and maketh my way perfect. He maketh my feet like hinds’ feet, and setteth me upon my high places. He teacheth my hands to war, so that a bow of steel is broken by mine arms.

King David the psalmist knew what divine strength can do in the life of a man. His life took a new turn from the day grace located him right in his father’s house. God had sent Samuel the man of God to the house of Jesse to anoint one of his sons king over Israel, after he rejected Saul from continuing as king over his people. When Samuel arrived the house of Jesse, everyone who looked qualified that Jesse brought on was turned down by the Spirit of God at work in Samuel, even to the surprise of the prophet himself. “And Samuel said unto Jesse, Are here all thy children? And he said, There remaineth yet the youngest, and, behold, he keepeth the sheep. And Samuel said unto Jesse, Send and fetch him: for we will not sit down till he come hither. And he sent, and brought him in. Now he was ruddy, and withal of a beautiful countenance, and goodly to look to. And the LORD said, Arise, anoint him: for this is he. Then Samuel took the horn of oil, and anointed him in the midst of his brethren: and the Spirit of the LORD came upon David from that day forward. So Samuel rose up, and went to Ramah.” 1 Samuel 16:11-13.

From the day the oil of God came upon David the shepherd boy, he became another man because he received divine strength (capacity) the moment the Spirit of God came upon his life. This became a turnaround encounter in his life. When he returned to the place of his assignment as shepherd boy, he began to terrorise the strong forces in the wilderness. That was how he began to slay the lion and the bear with his bare hands. “And David said unto Saul, Thy servant kept his father’s sheep, and there came a lion, and a bear, and took a lamb out of the flock: And I went out after him, and smote him, and delivered it out of his mouth: and when he arose against me, I caught him by his beard, and smote him, and slew him. Thy servant slew both the lion and the bear: and this uncircumcised Philistine shall be as one of them, seeing he hath defied the armies of the living God.”
1 Samuel 17:34-36.

This year, you need empowerment from God to have a different kind of result in everything you do. You need the Spirit of God to guide you in everything you do. He will make available to you divine wisdom that will make difficult things easy. As an extraordinary strategist, he will arm you with divine strategies that will give you uncommon results, circumstances notwithstanding. If you can pay attention to the Holy Spirit and learn to depend on him when you face difficult situations, you will see yourself leaping over walls or every obstacles the enemy will place on your way from now onwards. He will make divine speed available to you that will cause you to overtake men who used to be ahead of you. By his strength and power, you will see yourself overcome every oppositions of enemy forces, no matter how formidable they may appear.

Prayer :Thank you Father God because power belongs to you and you alone. Let your Spirit rest upon me from today. Arm me with divine strength in everything and every situation. From now onwards by your Spirit, grant me results that will cause men to honour you in Jesus wonderful name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Chosen To Be A Blessing

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Saturday January 13th, 2024.

Topic : Chosen To Be A Blessing.

Memory Verse:John 15:13. Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

Bible Reading :John 15:14-16. Key Verse: v16.

Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you. Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.

Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.

The grace of God that brings salvation appeared unto us because God in his benevolence chose us to represent him here on earth. As his people, we are to continue as to finish every good works Jesus Christ our saviour began here on earth when he walked on the surface of this earth as a man. His primary assignment on earth was to save men (as many as will believe in him). He was moved to come and die for us out of love. Because he loved us, he couldn’t watch us languish in our sins and become permanently enslaved by sin and the powers of the kingdom of darkness. He submitted himself to die for us to live, willingly. “I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine. As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep. “Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again. No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father.” John 10:14-15,17-18.

Our relationship with Jesus is multidimensional in nature. As servants, we receive instructions from him to carry out daily (live in his will). It doesn’t stop there because Christ does not just relate with us as ordinary servants, but friends and fellow heirs. As friends he is able to bring us into his depth and secrets by his Spirit. Now, we are able to walk alongside each other (with him) daily. He shows interest and gets involved in all that concerns us, giving us helping hand here and there to make sure that we succeed in our endeavours. As joint heirs, he brings us into his eternal inheritance with the father. We are able to partake his divine nature as fellow sons in the house. “According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.” 2 Peter 1:3-4.

All these rights and privileges are extended to us so that we can be fruitful in him. Not only that, God desires that the fruits we bear in him stands the test of time. This means that we are designed to live our lives to impart as well as impact everyone around us positively. This fruitfulness must touch every aspect of your life and entire being. This includes your spiritual life, your social, career or business life, your martial life, etc. At this point, you must understand that your fruitfulness is by covenant and therefore not negotiable, as long as you walk in obedience. “And he will love thee, and bless thee, and multiply thee: he will also bless the fruit of thy womb, and the fruit of thy land, thy corn, and thy wine, and thine oil, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep, in the land which he sware unto thy fathers to give thee. Thou shalt be blessed above all people: there shall not be male or female barren among you, or among your cattle.” Deuteronomy 7:13-14.

Prayer : Thank you Father God for choosing me, even from my mother’s womb to be called your own. Thank you for every resources you have made available to me as to make me a blessing here on earth. I bless you for configuring me to be a blessing to my generation in Jesus wonderful name…. Amen 🙏🏿.
