Memory Verse : John 2:5. Mary then went to the servers and told them, “Whatever Jesus tells you, make sure that you do it!”

Bible Reading :John 2:1-2. Key Verse :v 5.

Now on the third day there was a wedding feast in the Galilean village of Cana, and the mother of Jesus was there. Jesus and his disciples were all invited to the banquet, but with so many guests in attendance, they ran out of wine. And when Mary realized it, she came to him and asked, “They have no wine, can’t you do something about it?”

Jesus Christ was one of the invited guests in this particular marriage that took place in the village of Cana situated in Galilee. At the peak of the event, the host ran out of wine. In those days marriages lasted for about three to seven days in line with Jewish culture. As they ran out of wine, the mother of Jesus went to him, demanding that he should do something to help them out. She then asked the hosts to do anything Jesus should ask them to do. “Now there were six stone water pots standing nearby. They were meant to be used for the Jewish washing rituals. Each one held about 20 gallons or more. Jesus came to the servers and told them, “Fill the pots with water, right up to the very brim.” Then he said, “Now fill your pitchers and take them to the master of ceremonies.” And when they poured out their pitcher for the master of ceremonies to sample, the water became wine! When he tasted the water that became wine, the master of ceremonies was impressed. (Although he didn’t know where the wine had come from, but the servers knew.)”John 2:6-9.

Though Jesus had no intention of doing a miracle there, he later gave in to the demands of his mother by giving them the needed assistance. He turned drinking water into one of the sweetest wine men ever drank in any occasion. “Jesus came to the servers and told them, “Fill the pots with water, right up to the very brim.” Then he said, “Now fill your pitchers and take them to the master of ceremonies.” And when they poured out their pitcher for the master of ceremonies to sample, the water became wine! When he tasted the water that became wine, the master of ceremonies was impressed. (Although he didn’t know where the wine had come from, but the servers knew.) He called the bridegroom over and said to him, “Every host serves his best wine first until everyone has had a cup or two, then he serves the wine of poor quality. But you, my friend, you’ve reserved the most exquisite wine until now!” John 2:7-10.

Now we need to learn that no man with Jesus as his guest gets stranded or disappointed in life circumstances notwithstanding. When you have him with you, he will always be your ever present help in times of need, Revelations 3:20, Psalms 46:1-7. Again, the celebrant had a miracle wine here because he followed the instructions of Jesus Christ himself as he was instructed by the mother of Jesus. The help of God will always be far away from anyone who refuses to obey the voice of the Lord in any given situation in life, Deuteronomy 7:11-16. Another thing we need to note from this incident is the need to develop capacity for the Spirit of God to live and work in us. The new wine everyone needs today to make our lives worthwhile is the Holy Spirit. We have to be open to him and willing to receive from him the newness of life that adds taste and colour to the lives of men. “And don’t get drunk with wine, which is rebellion; instead be filled with the fullness of the Holy Spirit. And your hearts will overflow with a joyful song to the Lord Jehovah. Keep speaking to each other with words of Scripture, singing the Psalms with praises and spontaneous songs given by the Spirit!” Ephesians 5:18-19.

Prayer : Thank you Lord Jesus because you are the God of new things. Thank you because no one having you in his/her gets stranded or disappointed. Help me to always discern and obey the voice of your Spirit in everything I do. Thank you for showing up on my behalf always in Jesus wonderful name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Work For Eternal Honours.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Wednesday March 13th, 2024.

Topic : Work For Eternal Honours.

Memory Verse :‭‭1 Peter 2:1. Therefore, rid yourselves of all malice and all deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and slander of every kind.

Bible Reading : ‭‭‭1 Corinthians 9:24-26 NIV‬‬. Key Verse: v24.

Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize. Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last, but we do it to get a crown that will last forever. Therefore I do not run like someone running aimlessly; I do not fight like a boxer beating the air.

In every competition, the athletes involved work on themselves to be physically fit in order to give best account of themselves. Their preparations sometimes involves rigorous exercises to burn some fat as to be in their right competiton mode. Those exercises are not very enjoyable, but necessary for a good outing. Every preparations including the competition itself are targeted at coming out tops or winning a prize that can never stand the test of time. ‭“Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
Matthew 6:19-21.

The glory and honours of this world will always fade with time. A boxer like Mohammed Ali of U.S.A. is no more. All his exploits in the boxing ring has become history. A footballer like Pele is gone, all the laurels he won playing football will never count for anything where he is now. Nigerian football greats like Stephen Keshi who won the AFCON as a player and coach are no more. A respect forward like Rashidi Yekini of Nigeria with all the records he held in Nigerian football are no more. Their earthly records are good for our memories only, they don’t count in eternity where they are now. Likewise, there are other sporting greats holding all kinds of records around the world who had succumb to the call of nature by crossing to the other side, whose lists are endless. They all are proofs that whatever we do here are temporal. Many never take thought of life after here which is forever. “Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last, but we do it to get a crown that will last forever.” 1 Corinthians 9:25.

The things of the kingdom of God can rightly be compared with things around us. The lives we live daily, things we do with opportunities given to us all count in eternity where men are rewarded after this life, depending on how we lived our lives. Some things we get involved in that appear very harmless on the surface are impediments to our progress in our spiritual lives. Such activities doesn’t glorify God and therefore when we get involved in them, the Spirit of God withdraws from us, they tell on us negatively. Our memory verse listed some of them. We must therefore avoid them in order not to fail to win the prize of eternal life. We need to understand the fact that we are striving for eternal and not temporary honours. They are things that count here on earth and after this present life, they count in eternity. ‭‭”Therefore I do not run like someone running aimlessly; I do not fight like a boxer beating the air. No, I strike a blow to my body and make it my slave so that after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified for the prize.” 1 Corinthians 9:26-27.

Prayer :Thank you Father God because you are eternal. Thank you for the opportunity you gave me in this life to work for things that stands the test of time. Help me to be focused and disciplined, as I thrive daily for eternal honours. By your mighty mercies, help me to win the crown at last in Jesus precious name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Follow The Footsteps Of Faithful Men.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Tuesday March 12th, 2024.

Topic : Follow The Footsteps Of Faithful Men.

Memory Verse: Hebrews 6:12. So don’t allow your hearts to grow dull or lose your enthusiasm, but follow the example of those who fully received what God has promised because of their strong faith and patient endurance.

Bible Reading :Hebrews 6:9-11 TPT. Key Verse : v10.

Having said that, beloved, we are fully convinced that there are more beautiful and excellent things, which flow from your salvation. For God, the Faithful One, is not unfair. How can he forget the work you have done for him? He remembers the love you demonstrate as you continually serve his beloved ones for the glory of his name. But we long to see you passionately advance until the end and you find your hope fulfilled.

Growth and maturity are very important in the life of every child of God. Without growth nobody will be able to exhibit maturity in whatever he/she does. God himself is very much interested in our walk with him and service to the saints or his kingdom as one may call it. He uses every possible opportunity to encourage us to get involved in activities or exercises that will help us grow in our knowledge of him, so as to be able to exhibit maturity when need arises. These factors makes our Christianity more productive. “In the same way that nursing infants cry for milk, you must intensely crave the pure spiritual milk of God’s Word. For this “milk” will cause you to grow into maturity, fully nourished and strong for life— especially now that you have had a taste of the goodness of the Lord Jehovah and have experienced his kindness.” 1 Peter 2:2-3 .

Now we need understand that the kingdom process that work growth and maturity most time doesn’t come with sweet or very pleasant experiences. Rather it comes at a price that many are not willing to pay, hence they are very slow while some are stuck at a point in the ladder of growth and maturity. It takes focus, commitment, discipline, sacrifices and endurance to remain on track with God unto victory. “So now we must cling tightly to the hope that lives within us, knowing that God always keeps his promises! You sympathized with those in prison and when all your belongings were confiscated you accepted that violation with joy; convinced that you possess a treasure growing in heaven that could never be taken from you. So don’t lose your bold, courageous faith, for you are destined for a great reward! You need the strength of endurance to reveal the poetry of God’s will and then you receive the promise in full.” Hebrews 10:23,34-36.

Today we have to learn from the examplary lives of men who were ahead of us or our fathers in the faith who were not in a hurry with God, but patiently walked with him following his process which prepares men before the release of some deep promises of God into their lives in a manner that everyone can see and handle. These processes are permitted by God to help work maturity in men. “Now when God made a promise to Abraham, since there was no one greater than himself, he swore an oath on his own integrity to keep the promise as sure as God exists! So he said, “Have no doubt, I promise to bless you over and over, and give you a son and multiply you without measure!” So Abraham waited patiently in faith and succeeded in seeing the promise fulfilled.” Hebrews 6:13-15.

Prayer :Thank you Father God because you are ever faithful. Help me to remain focused and disciplined in my walk with you. Help me to patiently pass through every process your designed to prepare me for higher heights and blessings in you. Thank you because you will always come through for me in Jesus wonderful name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Prevailing In The Spirit (2).

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Monday March 11th, 2024.

Topic : Prevailing In The Spirit (2).

Memory Verse: James 5:17. Elijah was a man with human frailties, just like all of us, but he prayed and received supernatural answers. He actually shut the heavens over the land so there would be no rain for three and a half years!

Bible Reading : James 5:13-15. Key Verse: v17.

Are there any believers in your fellowship suffering great hardship and distress? Encourage them to pray! Are there happy, cheerful ones among you? Encourage them to sing out their praises! Are there any sick among you? Then ask the elders of the church to come and pray over the sick and anoint them with oil in the name of our Lord. And the prayer of faith will heal the sick and the Lord will raise them up, and if they have committed sins they will be forgiven.

Yesterday, we began to see that power to control things including nature is made available to the believer who lives a prayerful life, using Elijah as a case study. We saw that the heavens over Israel witheld rain and dew over the land for three and half years at the word of the servant of God. Immediately after his encounter with Ahab the king, the Lord sent him to the brook of cherith to be taken care of while the famine lasted. When his time there was up, he was sent to a poor widow. His presence in the house and life of the widow was enough to gurrantee divine provisions while the famine lasted. “Now Elijah the Tishbite, from Tishbe in Gilead, said to Ahab, “As the Lord, the God of Israel, lives, whom I serve, there will be neither dew nor rain in the next few years except at my word.” ‭Then the word of the Lord came to Elijah: “Leave here, turn eastward and hide in the Kerith Ravine, east of the Jordan. You will drink from the brook, and I have directed the ravens to supply you with food there.”
‭‭1 Kings 17:1-4 NIV‬‬.

Now I want to bring out something important in James 3:15. King James version called it affliction and The Passion Translation called it great hardship and distress. It was recommended that when we begin to have such ugly experience anywhere we find ourselves, the only way to stay afloat and be victorious is to pray. We need to understand here that anywhere we see affliction or great hardship and distress, the devil and his demons are at work and no man can fight or prevail over the enemy of our souls who comes to steal joy, kill and destroy every good thing he can have access to in the life of any man that he breaks into. Today we must learn that a praying man or people cannot sink in times of affliction, famine and hardship. In the place of prayer, we develop or build capacity to rule over powers of darkness that operate through their human agents to inflict humanity with all kinds of affliction that causes pain and severe hardship as seen in Nigeria and some nations today.

In the place of prayer, we are able to control things even in the political and economic circles to our favour, especially when we obey divine instructions. “Most of all, I’m writing to encourage you to pray with gratitude to God. Pray for all men with all forms of prayers and requests as you intercede with intense passion. And pray for every political leader and representative, so that we would be able to live tranquil, undisturbed lives, as we worship the awe-inspiring God with pure hearts. Therefore, I encourage the men to pray on every occasion with hands lifted to God in worship with clean hearts, free from frustration or strife.” 1 Timothy 2:1-2,8 TPT.

Prayer :Thank you Father God for making power available to your children in the place of prayer. Help me Lord to always take full advantage of enormous resources available in your presence to live above the forces of hardship, pain and afflictions all my days in Jesus wonderful name….. Amen 🙏🏿.

Prevailing In The Spirit (1).

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Sunday March 10th, 2024.

Topic : Prevailing In The Spirit (1).

God we all know created all things that we can or cannot see with our eyes. Again he that created has what it takes to care for as well as control all that he created. Now, a man who is close to his creator who is always talking to him is a very powerful man in the sense that he can always influence or even exercise some level of control over his/her maker through the channel of communication as created by prayer. To the praying man, nothing is impossible and no situations that cannot be remedied. This scripture said it all. “Elijah was a man with human frailties, just like all of us, but he prayed and received supernatural answers. He actually shut the heavens over the land so there would be no rain for three and a half years! Then he prayed again and the skies opened up over the land so that the rain came again and produced the harvest.” James 5:17-18.

Now see what happened between Elijah the servant of God and Ahab the king….” And then this happened: Elijah the Tishbite, from among the settlers of Gilead, confronted Ahab: “As surely as God lives, the God of Israel before whom I stand in obedient service, the next years are going to see a total drought—not a drop of dew or rain unless I say otherwise.” 1 Kings 17:1 MSG. Before Elijah the servant of God came to confront the king, he had already stood in God’s presence to settle certain things with him that created as well as controls all things. When he appeared before the king, he could shut the heavens from giving neither rain nor dew for as many years as he would desire. This means that there would be no respite until he returns to change the decree he made earlier.

Because the heavens couldn’t drop ordinary dew which could sustain the vegetations, the farmine that followed his pronouncement was devastating. After his encounter with prophets of Baal on mount carmel that resulted in him hearing the sound of heavy rain, after three years and six months had gone, he still went back to talk to God till his servant could see the manifestation. “‭‭And Elijah said to Ahab, “Go, eat and drink, for there is the sound of a heavy rain.” So Ahab went off to eat and drink, but Elijah climbed to the top of Carmel, bent down to the ground and put his face between his knees. “Go and look toward the sea,” he told his servant. And he went up and looked. “There is nothing there,” he said. Seven times Elijah said, “Go back.” The seventh time the servant reported, “A cloud as small as a man’s hand is rising from the sea.” So Elijah said, “Go and tell Ahab, ‘Hitch up your chariot and go down before the rain stops you.’” 1 Kings 18:41-44 NIV‬‬.

Prayer :Thank you Father God for giving me all it takes to prevail in life through prayer. Help me to be a man that stands before you in my generation to get supernatural results in Jesus wonderful name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Blessing Is Our Covenant Right.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Saturday March 9th,2024.

Topic: Blessing Is Our Covenant Right.

Memory Verse:‭‭ Galatians 3:14. He redeemed us in order that the blessing given to Abraham might come to the Gentiles through Christ Jesus, so that by faith we might receive the promise of the Spirit.

Bible Reading :‭Galatians 3:7-9 NIV‬. Key Verse: v7.

Understand, then, that those who have faith are children of Abraham. Scripture foresaw that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, and announced the gospel in advance to Abraham: “All nations will be blessed through you.” So those who rely on faith are blessed along with Abraham, the man of faith.

Father Abraham was the first man to take an uncommon journey of faith with God. He trusted God to the point of obeying his voice that instructed him to leave the people and environment where he had lived his life before the instructions came to him. “The Lord had said to Abram, “Go from your country, your people and your father’s household to the land I will show you. “I will make you into a great nation, and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you.” So Abram went, as the Lord had told him; and Lot went with him. Abram was seventy-five years old when he set out from Harran.” ‭‭Genesis 12:1-4.

Abraham walked with God and got his approval as long as faith is concerned. He patiently followed God and obeyed his voice at any given time and was blessed exceedingly. He held unto the promises of God concerning Isaac, even when circumstances or the condition of the wife would have caused him to doubt. After Isaac was finally born, the test of his life came when God instructed him to go to Mount Moriah and sacrifice Isaac to him as a burnt offering. He obeyed without arguments. That act of trust and obedience activated an everlasting covenant of uncommon blessing that we all enjoy today. ‭‭”The angel of the Lord called to Abraham from heaven a second time and said, “I swear by myself, declares the Lord, that because you have done this and have not withheld your son, your only son, I will surely bless you and make your descendants as numerous as the stars in the sky and as the sand on the seashore. Your descendants will take possession of the cities of their enemies, and through your offspring all nations on earth will be blessed, because you have obeyed me.”
Genesis 22:15-18.

Because of this covenant, everyone who relates with God by faith in his son Jesus Christ and his promises that are ever reliable are carriers of the blessings of Abraham as a birthright. This blessedness covers every dimension of our lives, starting from the spiritual (the Spirit of God given to us) to the physical or material things. All we need to enjoy these blessings is to walk with God with undiluted love and reverence which results obedience to his instructions and commands. ‭”If you fully obey the Lord your God and carefully follow all his commands I give you today, the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations on earth. All these blessings will come on you and accompany you if you obey the Lord your God:

The fruit of your womb will be blessed, and the crops of your land and the young of your livestock—the calves of your herds and the lambs of your flocks. Your basket and your kneading trough will be blessed. You will be blessed in the city and blessed in the country. The fruit of your womb will be blessed, and the crops of your land and the young of your livestock—the calves of your herds and the lambs of your flocks.” Deuteronomy 28:1-4.

Prayer :Thank you Father God for calling me into a life of blessing. I thank you for delivering me from the curse of the law. Thank you for giving me your Spirit. From today, I walk in the reality if the full measure of the blesings of Abraham by covenant in Jesus wonderful name… Amen 🙏🏿.

That Our Land May Be Healed.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Friday March 8th, 2024.

Topic : That Our Land May Be Healed.

Memory Verse : ‭‭Joel 2:1. Blow the trumpet in Zion; sound the alarm on my holy hill. Let all who live in the land tremble, for the day of the Lord is coming. It is close at hand—

Bible Reading :‭Joel 2:2-4 NIV‬. Key Verse: v2.

a day of darkness and gloom, a day of clouds and blackness. Like dawn spreading across the mountains a large and mighty army comes, such as never was in ancient times nor ever will be in ages to come. Before them fire devours, behind them a flame blazes. Before them the land is like the garden of Eden, behind them, a desert waste— nothing escapes them. They have the appearance of horses; they gallop along like cavalry.

As people of God, we need to understand how our God behaves or his mode of operation as to relate effectively. In every generation, the people determines what happens to them based on their relationship with their creator and God, weather they know it or not. The Lord has given the earth to man, so all that happens on earth in any environment, even in cities and nations of the earth depends on what man does with the trust God bestowed on him as to commit the earth and every other creatures in it to be under his control. ‭”But there is a place where someone has testified: “What is mankind that you are mindful of them, a son of man that you care for him? You made them a little lower than the angels; you crowned them with glory and honor and put everything under their feet.” In putting everything under them, God left nothing that is not subject to them. Yet at present we do not see everything subject to them.” Hebrews 2:6-8.

A day of the Lord supposed to be a day of blessing and joy, when men do what is right. Such day is a day God chooses to respond to men and their attitude towards him. Men can therefore celebrate God’s goodness in a day of his visitation only when we obey and serve him. On the other hand, when men live in rebellion to God and his instructions and commandments, they incure God’s wrath upon themselves, and by their own ways turn the day of the Lord into a day of gloom, darkness and pain. Sometimes when you look at the crop of believers we have today including our leaders, you will see the reason the world is troubled. People including leaders who chart the course for others to follow walk in outright rebellion to the voice of God and expect things to work well at last. “The wicked is driven away in his wickedness: but the righteous hath hope in his death. Wisdom resteth in the heart of him that hath understanding: but that which is in the midst of fools is made known.
Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people.” Proverbs 14:32-34 KJV.

Our nation and many nations today are suffering because of failure of kingdom leadership. When people in the church cannot discern the move of their God because of sentiments that becloud kingdom interest. When men who speak God’s mind becomes unpopular and prophets who speak to get attention of the people in the palace are celebrated for telling men just what they want to hear, the day of the Lord becomes a problem and gloomy. The solution today is for us to repent before the Lord for our continuous rebellion to the Lord so that our land could be healed. ‭“Even now,” declares the Lord, “return to me with all your heart, with fasting and weeping and mourning.” Rend your heart and not your garments. Return to the Lord your God, for he is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and abounding in love, and he relents from sending calamity. Who knows? He may turn and relent and leave behind a blessing— grain offerings and drink offerings for the Lord your God.” Joel 2:12-14.

Prayer :Thank you Father God for entrusting your earth to the control of men. Father, today we come before you as a people in repentance. We repent of every visitations of pain and gloom we activated through our greed rebellion from your presence. In your mighty mercy, heal our land that we may glorify and serve you with joy in Jesus wonderful name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Praying To Get Results.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Thursday March 7th, 2024.

Topic : Praying To Get Results.

Memory Verse :‭‭ Luke 18:1. Then Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up.

Bible Reading :‭Luke 18:2-4 NIV‬. Key Verse: v3.

He said: “In a certain town there was a judge who neither feared God nor cared what people thought. And there was a widow in that town who kept coming to him with the plea, ‘Grant me justice against my adversary.’ “For some time he refused. But finally he said to himself, ‘Even though I don’t fear God or care what people think,

In summary, Jesus Christ taught us here in the quoted text that prayer should be the lifestyle of his followers. He meant to let us understand that when we are praying, we shouldn’t give up for any reason till we can see the manifestation of answers. I have personally discovered that no praying man fails in life. Again there’s no prayers we pray as children of God that he doesn’t answer, but sometimes the answers may not appear the way we want it. ‭‭“This is what the Lord says, he who made the earth, the Lord who formed it and established it—the Lord is his name: Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.’ Jeremiah 33:2-3.

This right of this widow we read about was being trampled upon and she didn’t have what it takes to rrecover what belonged to her. She needed the intervention of a higher power who is the judge in order to get her rights enforced against the forces of denial. Initially, the judge didn’t have her time. On her own side, she ignored the attitude of the judge and kept on pressing. The judge had to attend to her needs so that himself could have some respite. Jesus wants us to understand that there’s power in being consistent before God in whatever we do that must produce desired results. If the judge that had no regard for God and men could help at last because of the consistency of the helpless widow, how much more will God who is our father and the judge of the universe defend our course when we talk to him in prayers always.

Jesus Christ himself while on earth lived a prayerful life. He taught the disciples the rudiments of prayer in Mathew 6:5-15. On other occasions, he took some of them along to his personal place of his tmprayer for them to learn first hand. On a final note, we need to understand that if we are not consistent in prayers, the enemy of our soul may trample on our rights as believers. When we don’t give up, the judge of the universe will always vindicate or give his own victory.

Prayer :Thank you Lord Jesus because power belongs to you. Thank you for the power that is in prayers. From today, let my prayer life be on fire. Help me to always pray to enforce your will over my life and people around me in Jesus wonderful name.
.. Amen 🙏🏿.

Divine Intervention.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Wednesday 6th March, 2024.

Topic : Divine Intervention.

Bible Reading :‭2 Kings 7:3-5 NIV‬. Key Verse :v6.

Now there were four men with leprosy at the entrance of the city gate. They said to each other, “Why stay here until we die? If we say, ‘We’ll go into the city’—the famine is there, and we will die. And if we stay here, we will die. So let’s go over to the camp of the Arameans and surrender. If they spare us, we live; if they kill us, then we die.” At dusk they got up and went to the camp of the Arameans. When they reached the edge of the camp, no one was there,

This time the people of Syria came to war against Samaria. They laid siege against the people of God. That made it impossible for the people of Samaria to relate with the outside world in commerce, industry and trade (economic blockadep). The hunger in the land became so terrible that women lost their mind and began to eat their children. ‭‭”There was a great famine in the city; the siege lasted so long that a donkey’s head sold for eighty shekels of silver, and a quarter of a cab of seed pods for five shekels. As the king of Israel was passing by on the wall, a woman cried to him, “Help me, my lord the king!” The king replied, “If the Lord does not help you, where can I get help for you? From the threshing floor? From the winepress?” Then he asked her, “What’s the matter?” She answered, “This woman said to me, ‘Give up your son so we may eat him today, and tomorrow we’ll eat my son.’ So we cooked my son and ate him. The next day I said to her, ‘Give up your son so we may eat him,’ but she had hidden him.” 2 Kings 6:25-29.

Instead of the king to seek the face of the Lord in repentance for their rebellion and wickedness that made the Lord hand them over to their enemies, he went for the head of Elisha, from whose mouth the Lord had given them warnings which they never heeded. When the messengers of death arrived at Elisha’s, the Lord gave a message of hope that some people was tempted to doubt based on reality. ‭‭”Elisha replied, “Hear the word of the Lord. This is what the Lord says: About this time tomorrow, a seah of the finest flour will sell for a shekel and two seahs of barley for a shekel at the gate of Samaria.” The officer on whose arm the king was leaning said to the man of God, “Look, even if the Lord should open the floodgates of the heavens, could this happen?” “You will see it with your own eyes,” answered Elisha, “but you will not eat any of it!”2 Kings 7:1-2.

Because able bodied men were jittery and in doubt, God bypassed them to use hungry, incapacitated and dying lepers to deliver the land. ‭‭”At dusk they got up and went to the camp of the Arameans. When they reached the edge of the camp, no one was there, for the Lord had caused the Arameans to hear the sound of chariots and horses and a great army, so that they said to one another, “Look, the king of Israel has hired the Hittite and Egyptian kings to attack us!” So they got up and fled in the dusk and abandoned their tents and their horses and donkeys. They left the camp as it was and ran for their lives.” 2 Kings 7:5-7. Today, every stubborn challenges you are facing will hear the sound of divine intervention and give way by the mercies of God

Partnership That Secures Your Future

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Tuesday 5th March, 2024.

Topic: Partnership That Secures Your Future.

Memory Verse: ‭‭Matthew 6:20. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal.

Bible Reading :‭ 2 Corinthians 8:1-3 NIV‬. Key Verse: v2.

And now, brothers and sisters, we want you to know about the grace that God has given the Macedonian churches. In the midst of a very severe trial, their overflowing joy and their extreme poverty welled up in rich generosity. For I testify that they gave as much as they were able, and even beyond their ability. Entirely on their own,

The Macedonian churches did something that touched Apostle Paul. They were very generous in giving their substance to support the work of God committed to his care in difficult or trying times, though they were not men of affluence. The people took steps to give beyond the expectation of the Apostle himself. Now he began to use them as a reference point to teach others. ‭‭”For I testify that they gave as much as they were able, and even beyond their ability. Entirely on their own, they urgently pleaded with us for the privilege of sharing in this service to the Lord’s people. And they exceeded our expectations: They gave themselves first of all to the Lord, and then by the will of God also to us.” 2 Corinthians 8:3-5.

Many people in our churches are busy asking God for many things they want him to do for them. They also forget that God has needs. There are things he wants done on earth which will never be done except he is able to lay hands on someone who is willing to be used in that direction. Many believers seem not to understand that one of the easiest ways to warm ourselves into the heart of God is by discovering those things he wants done as God which he needs to lay hands on a man to accomplish and get them done. ‭‭”The people of the land practice extortion and commit robbery; they oppress the poor and needy and mistreat the foreigner, denying them justice. “I looked for someone among them who would build up the wall and stand before me in the gap on behalf of the land so I would not have to destroy it, but I found no one . So I will pour out my wrath on them and consume them with my fiery anger, bringing down on their own heads all they have done, declares the Sovereign Lord.” Ezekiel 22:29-31.

In above scriptures, we see God looking for a praying man or intercessor for his generational need to be met and found none as everyone minded his business and household. Today God is also looking for sons/daughters of consolation. Men that will inconvenience themselves where necessary to make sure the need of preaching the gospel to every creature and in every nation and language is met. When our love for God and his kingdom moves us to give sacrificially to his work, we form a partnership with the master that secures our financial future. Such people understands how to take advantage of the poverty of Jesus to tap into his riches. “I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener. He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes so that it will be even more fruitful.” John 15:1-2.

Prayer :Thank you Father because you are a loving master. Today open my eyes to see those your needs around me that I can meet. Help me to always partner with you to enforce your plan and purpose in my generation. Thank you for using me in Jesus wonderful name…. Amen 🙏🏿.
