Doing The Work Of God

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Friday May 24th, 2024.

Topic : Doing The Work Of God.

Memory Verse: Ephesians 1:20. that was released when God raised Christ from the dead and exalted him to the place of highest honor and supreme authority in the heavenly realm!

Bible Reading :John 14:12-14 TPT. Key Verse: v12.

“I tell you this timeless truth: The person who follows me in faith, believing in me, will do the same mighty miracles that I do—even greater miracles than these because I go to be with my Father! For I will do whatever you ask me to do when you ask me in my name. And that is how the Son will show what the Father is really like and bring glory to him. Ask me anything in my name, and I will do it for you!”

It is God’s will that we that follow Jesus be like him in everything. That is the reason we follow him in the first place, so that he can change us just the way he changed the lives of men of old who followed him. He told
Peter after the draught, “follow me and I will make you…..”. This means that when me follows Jesus, as creator of all, he makes or remakes them. We are not permitted therefore to remain the way we used to be in everything we do after we have encountered or met Christ. There must be some evidence, proofs or impact he leaves on us that even the blind should be able to see. When Peter followed him, the impact was made very visible on the day of Pentecost. When the Holy Spirit was given, the impact drew the attention of many, who accused the disciples of being drunk very early in the morning. Peter who was afraid before then, was bold enough under the influence of the Spirit of God to defend the gospel and preach a message that got about 3,000 men into the kingdom on the spot without any modern address system.

That became the turning point of the life and ministry of Apostle Peter. From that day, he began to do things he couldn’t have done by his ability as a man. The Bible recorded in Acts chapter 3 how he healed the man begging for alms on their to pray. ‭”Then Peter said, “Silver or gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk.” Taking him by the right hand, he helped him up, and instantly the man’s feet and ankles became strong. He jumped to his feet and began to walk. Then he went with them into the temple courts, walking and jumping, and praising God.” Acts 3:6-8 NIV‬. The hand of God was strong in the life of John that men to wonder because he wasn’t even educated.

Today we need to learn that we have been given all it takes to make a difference in our lifetime, just like these great men of old that followed Jesus. The Holy Spirit given to us when we met Christ is a deposit of God in us. He is there to help us operate beyond the limitations of ordinary men. Whatever we saw Christ do while he was on earth, we can duplicate even today in stronger terms because he has left the space for us to occupy and operate on his behalf. We are his representatives here on earth. Men that knew us before we met him, need to testify about visible changes he has brought into our lives. This is possible because we are seated with him in the place of rulership and authority. He is is depending on us to get much accomplished in our days. The Holy Spirit will always be there to help and guide us. “So when that day comes, you will know that I am living in the Father and that you are one with me, for I will be living in you. Those who truly love me are those who obey my commands. Whoever passionately loves me will be passionately loved by my Father. And I will passionately love you in return and will manifest my life within you.” John 14:20-21.

Prayer : Thank you Lord Jesus for calling me out of the world to follow and serve you in my generation. Thank you for giving me your Spirit to help me live and be accomplished just like yourself. Thank you for opening me up to new dimensions of mighty acts of God by the help of your Spirit given to me in Jesus wonderful name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

With Jesus, All Things Are Possible

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Thursday May 23rd, 2024.

Topic :With Jesus, All Things Are Possible.

Memory Verse:‭John 11:40. Then Jesus said, “Did I not tell you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God?”

Bible Reading :‭John 11:41-43 NIV. Key Verse: v42.

So they took away the stone. Then Jesus looked up and said, “Father, I thank you that you have heard me. I knew that you always hear me, but I said this for the benefit of the people standing here, that they may believe that you sent me.” When he had said this, Jesus called in a loud voice, “Lazarus, come out!”

Lazarus was a very close friend of Jesus during the time of his earthly ministry. He fell sick and they sent for Jesus who didn’t come immediately, but waited some days before his arrival in Bethany. People thought he came late, but himself came at that point in time that God might take full measure of glory by raising him from the dead. ‭”Now a man named Lazarus was sick. He was from Bethany, the village of Mary and her sister Martha. (This Mary, whose brother Lazarus now lay sick, was the same one who poured perfume on the Lord and wiped his feet with her hair.) So the sisters sent word to Jesus, “Lord, the one you love is sick.” When he heard this, Jesus said, “This sickness will not end in death. No, it is for God’s glory so that God’s Son may be glorified through it.” John 11:1-4.

When Jesus Christ finally arrived, the people thought he came late because Lazarus was already dead and buried about four days. They thought that it was a hopeless situation because nothing could be done to help a dead and buried man that should be subject to decay by the time the Lord arrived. Even when Jesus tried to calm down the mourners, telling that he would live again. They thought he was talking about him resurrecting on the last day. Little did they understand what God was upto that particular day and hour. ‭”But I know that even now God will give you whatever you ask.” Jesus said to her, “Your brother will rise again.” Martha answered, “I know he will rise again in the resurrection at the last day.” John 11:22-24.

This same Jesus of John chapter 11 is here today to attend to hopeless and helpless situations. He has come to deliver answer to prayers, set captives free and deliver the oppressed, heal the sick and deliver solution to long standing problems in the lives of men. We need not forget that he never comes late and that with him, all things are possible. All we need is to trust his wonderful love for us and believe in his commitment to keeping his unfailing promises in our lives. Note that that Jesus Christ confidently and convincingly thanked the father for hearing him, even before he called and for being there for him always with answers. Anything you can thank God for doing this day, you will surely receive from the Lord. ‭”Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:6-7.

Prayer: Thank you Father God for you can never be late in my life and situation. Thank you because whatever I can thank for for doing, I will always receive from you. Thank you for making…… (mention them) possible in ny life today in Jesus mighty name… Amen 🙏🏿.

Depend On The Master

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Wednesday May 22nd, 2024.

Topic : Depend On The Master.

Memory Verse : Psalm 33:17.Human strength and the weapons of man are false hopes for victory; they may seem mighty but they will always disappoint.

Bible Reading :Psalm 33:18-20 TPT. Key Verse : v20.

The eyes of the Lord are upon even the weakest worshipers who love him— those who wait in hope and expectation for the strong, steady love of God. God will deliver them from death, even the certain death of famine, with no one to help. The Lord alone is our radiant hope and we trust in him with all our hearts. His wrap-around presence will strengthen us.

I read an article the other day about success and the testimony of a particular individual which included the story of his rise from quandry to riches and wealth. The author was trying to draw a conclusion that some people had worked hard in life just like same individual, done the right thing all their lives, yet they couldn’t get that far. The efforts they seem to have made in life doesn’t really reflect the way it should in the results they can boast of. When I finished reading that write up, I knew that the author was making sense in his wisdom. Now, I want us to understand that in every success story in this life, there’s always a God factor. This means that it is good to do the right things always and work hard. But we must also realise that it is God that raises the head of men or that lifts men in due season. There’s an increase or divine multiplication that no truthful man can adequately explain that comes from God. “I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase. So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase.” 1 Corinthians 3:6-7 KJV.

Wise men who desires to succeed in life makes Jesus their friend because he is God that created all things and has control over all he created. They cultivate a love relationship with him. Through unrelenting worship, they endear themselves to his heart. They don’t depend solely on what they can do in life, rather they learn to lean on him who gives men power not only to live for him, but also to make wealth too. They don’t put their hope in men who can always change their position on any issue in the face of adversity or based on circumstances they find themselves in. The love such men of understanding has for Jesus makes them obey his commands. To such men, the instructions of the master becomes laws that must be obeyed and with joy too because they are sure that they are meant to preserve the righteous. “To deliver their soul from death, and to keep them alive in famine. Our soul waiteth for the LORD: he is our help and our shield. For our heart shall rejoice in him, because we have trusted in his holy name.” Psalms 33:19-21 KJV.

Today and forever, in every battles you face, remember that you need the mercy and presence of the almighty to prevail. Everything we can do as men cannot work, except God be with us. The best equipments and even preparations can disappoint any man or people who fails to give God his rightful first place in their lives. We have to fix our eyes on him, even when we encounter difficulties on our paths. The Lord will always help those whose hope and trust stay with him. His presence will always build a shield or wall of protection around them and all they commit to the able care of Jesus our king. “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah.” Psalms 46:1-3 KJV.

Prayer :Thank you Lord Jesus because no man following you fails in life. Today, I confess my love and loyalty to you afresh. My eyes are fixed on you always. Take your rightful place in all I do. Thank you because with you on my side, I will always prevail in every battles of life in Jesus wonderful name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Standing Firm To Affect Lives.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Tuesday May 21st, 2024.

Topic : Standing Firm To Affect Lives. .

Memory Verse: 2 Timothy 1:13. Allow the healing words you’ve heard from me to live in you and make them a model for life as your faith and love for the Anointed One grows even more.

Bible Reading : 2 Timothy 1:11-12, 14 TPT. Key Verse: v12.

And he has anointed me as his preacher, his apostle, and his teacher of truth to the nations. The confidence of my calling enables me to overcome every difficulty without shame, for I have an intimate revelation of this God. And my faith in him convinces me that he is more than able to keep all that I’ve placed in his hands safe and secure until the fullness of his appearing. Guard well this incomparable treasure by the Spirit of Holiness living within you.

Anytime you look at the life and ministry of Apostle Paul, you will always have something to pick that can help you in your personal walk with God. Now, it’s good to point out here that God’s will is that each and every one of us should develop a working relationship with him. That is the right foundation for living in God’s presence which is key to a lifestyle of walking with God. One important thing that will make our walk with God solid is the revelation of him that we have. “The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen. Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began, But now is made manifest, and by the scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, made known to all nations for the obedience of faith: To God only wise, be glory through Jesus Christ for ever. Amen.” Romans 16:24-27 KJV.

Now revelation breeds faith and faith breeds trust. When we trust God enough, we won’t find it difficult to keep our trust with him, even in trouble times. Though Apostle Paul was imprisoned, his confidence in the Lord temained intact. From prison, he was writing his spiritual son Timothy, encouraging him not to be discouraged nor become afraid in carrying out his God given assignment. ‭
“So do not be ashamed of the testimony about our Lord or of me his prisoner. Rather, join with me in suffering for the gospel, by the power of God. He has saved us and called us to a holy life—not because of anything we have done but because of his own purpose and grace. This grace was given us in Christ Jesus before the beginning of time, but it has now been revealed through the appearing of our Savior, Christ Jesus, who has destroyed death and has brought life and immortality to light through the gospel.” 2 Timothy 1:8-10 NIV‬.

On a very important note, we need to understand the power of God is always available in his word. There’s no situation men face in life that the word of God is not able to handle. The word is a most effective instrument for healing, miracles and restoration of soundness anywhere we find ourselves, and in the life of anyone who dares to believe. “One day many Jewish religious leaders, known as Pharisees along with many religious scholars came from every village of Galilee, throughout Judea, and even from Jerusalem to hear Jesus teach. And the power of the Lord God surged through him to instantly heal. Some men came to Jesus, carrying a paraplegic man on a stretcher. They attempted to bring him in past the crowd to set him down in front of Jesus. But because there were so many people crowding the door, they had no way to bring him inside. So they crawled onto the roof, dug their way through the roof tiles, and lowered the man, stretcher and all, into the middle of the crowd, right in front of Jesus.” Luke 5:17-19.

Prayer :Thank you Father God because you will never abandon your own. Help me to stand firm in the revelation you gave me of you, in the face of challenges. Help me to always proclaim your word with boldness anywhere I find myself. Let the word from my my mouth change lives, break yokes and set captives free in Jesus wonderful name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Become A Channel To Reach Others.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Monday May 20th, 2024.

Topic: Become A Channel To Reach Others.

Memory Verse:. 2 Corinthians 3:3 As a result of our ministry, you are living letters written by Christ, not with ink but by the Spirit of the living God—not carved onto stone tablets but on the tablets of tender hearts.

Bible Reading :2 Corinthians 3:1-2 TPT. Key Verse: v2.

Are we beginning to sound like those who speak highly of themselves? Do you really need letters of recommendation to validate our ministry, like others do? Do we really need your letter of endorsement? Of course not! For your very lives are our “letters of recommendation,” permanently engraved on our hearts, recognized and read by everybody.

The lives of great early believers whom God used to shape Christianity are worth emulating. Paul stood out among new testament believers whose lives we must always watch closely as to follow their examples. He poured out his entire life and being into the ministry he received from the Lord without reservations. Even when some people among Corinthian believers was uncomfortable with his leadership style as to challenge his authority and first letter written to address issues among early believers in the city of Corinth. When some people that didn’t like correction was trying to dent his personal intergrity through false accusations and reports, he had to let them know that even themselves or their own changed lives was enough evidence or proof of God’s seal over his life and ministry.

Today we have to learn as believers to allow our lives to be totally submitted to the Holy Spirit so that we can become instrumental in his mighty hands to influence the lives of others around us to serve God just like ourselves. This cannot be possible if we don’t come to God with a right mindset. In our days majority of Christians around the world are more interested in using God to meet their needs, whatever happens to the kingdom of God around them is of secondary importance. Such people with this type of mindset can never be serious believers God can depend on to influence the lives of others around them to a point where they can come to know and serve Jesus our master. This is because many are no more living for eternity or with eternity in focus. People that fill our churches are more concerned about how to solve numerous immediate problems around them than rendering service to God and his people. “If the only benefit of our hope in Christ is limited to this life on earth, we deserve to be pitied more than all others!” 1 Corinthians 15:19.

Today we have to learn to have a hunger within us to be men and women who can impact the lives of others. If you have been a believer for many years, how many people around you have you been able to be an encouragement to? Are there souls you can point whom your impact in their spiritual lives can be seen as evidence our your Christianity or walk with God just like Apostle Paul? Note that at the local level, within the place you find yourself, there are souls God is depending on you to reach, touch and challenge the trajectory of their lives. But sometimes you may be so occupied with your selfish needs as to turn blind eyes to the needs of the Spirit. Ask the Lord today to open your eyes to people around you he wants you to be used to reach and change their lives. “All praises belong to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. For he is the Father of tender mercy and the God of endless comfort. He always comes alongside us to comfort us in every suffering so that we can come alongside those who are in any painful trial. We can bring them this same comfort that God has poured out upon us.” 2 Corinthians 1:3-4.

Prayer :Thank you Father God for saving me in order to use my life and reach out to others around me. From today, help me not to be always occupied by self. Open my eyes to men around me you want to use my own life to transform. Help me to be used to change the lives of others to serve you in Jesus wonderful name… Amen 🙏🏿.

Blessing Assured.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Sunday May 19th, 2024.

Topic : Blessing Assured.

Memory Verse: ‭Ephesians 1:3. Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ.

Bible Reading :‭Ephesians 1:4-6 NIV‬. Key Verse: v4.

For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love he predestined us for adoption to sonship through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will—to the praise of his glorious grace, which he has freely given us in the One he loves.

As a child of God, you need to understand the fact that you are not an ordinary human being. Rather, you are a spirit. Not only that, you are seated in the heavenlies (in God’s presence) together with the father and creator of all things, including all spirits. This means that you can’t live just like every other person that is not living in same realm of grace and glory with you. You are a member of God’s family by adoption through Jesus Christ. This means that you are now a partaker in all the blessing God had given to his son Jesus our redeemer. “So in Christ Jesus you are all children of God through faith, for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.” Galatians 3:26-29.

Now your blessing comes to you naturally as a birthright (something that cannot be denied). This means that as a child of God, you don’t have a problem with being blessed, rather you need to understand the nature of the blesing you carry or that is meant for you and put up every necessary efforts to access them in order to put them to use. Now, the highest blessing God can give a man is his presence (Spirit). Moses understood the importance of his presence and therefore insisted on it. That was the reason nothing could stand against him and the people he led all through the wilderness. In reality, everything responds to that awesome presence. ‭”I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better. I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people.” Ephesians 1:17-18.

Again the blessing of a child of God is by covenant. God had a covenant of blessing with our father in the faith Abraham. Because he obeyed the instructions of the Lord in a manner that proved the he loved God unconditionally, above the blessings of God in his life including the only son of the promise who came at a very old age. The covenant blessing God pronounced over his act of uncommon obedience spreads to all men who believes just like himself. ‭”He remembers his covenant forever, the promise he made, for a thousand generations, the covenant he made with Abraham, the oath he swore to Isaac. He confirmed it to Jacob as a decree, to Israel as an everlasting covenant: “To you I will give the land of Canaan as the portion you will inherit.”

1 Chronicles 16:15-18.

Prayer : Thank you Father God for calling me into your blessing. Thank you because my blessing in you is a birthright and by covenant. From today I receive grace to locate, access and make every blessing I have with God in Christ Jesus real in my life, in Jesus mighty name….. Amen 🙏🏿.

War With Your Testimonies.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Saturday May 18th, 2024.

Topic : War With Your Testimonies.

Memory Verse:‭ John 4:29. “Come, see a man who told me everything I ever did. Could this be the Messiah?”

Bible Reading :‭John 4:25-27 NIV‬. Key Verse : v26.

The woman said, “I know that Messiah” (called Christ) “is coming. When he comes, he will explain everything to us.” Then Jesus declared, “I, the one speaking to you—I am he.” Just then his disciples returned and were surprised to find him talking with a woman. But no one asked, “What do you want?” or “Why are you talking with her?”

At this point in time, this particular Samaritan woman came to fetch water from this very well of Jacob where Jesus was resting, while he waited for his disciples who went into town to get some food because themselves including the master was tired and hungry. Jesus needed to minister to this woman. So he opened up conversation with her by asking her for drinking water which the woman refused to give him because he was a Jew and herself a Samaritan.
“(His disciples had gone into the town to buy food.) The Samaritan woman said to him, “You are a Jew and I am a Samaritan woman. How can you ask me for a drink?” (For Jews do not associate with Samaritans.) Jesus answered her, “If you knew the gift of God and who it is that asks you for a drink, you would have asked him and he would have given you living water.”
John 4:8-10.

At the point in their conversation, Jesus began to let her know that if she had known whom she was speaking with, she would have asked him to give her an everlasting water that will satisfy her spirit forever (the Holy Spirit). The woman couldn’t understand him because he had nothing to use and fetch from the well to give to anyone. When Jesus saw her curiosity, he then told her to go and call her husband. The woman thinking that Jesus was developing interest in her lied that she had no man in her life. Jesus then saw the right opportunity to shock her with the story of her life, which should be a secret. That was when her eyes opened to understand that the man she was speaking with wasn’t ordinary. ‭”He told her, “Go, call your husband and come back.” “I have no husband,” she replied. Jesus said to her, “You are right when you say you have no husband. The fact is, you have had five husbands, and the man you now have is not your husband. What you have just said is quite true.” “Sir,” the woman said, “I can see that you are a prophet.” John 4:16-19.

One lesson I want us to pick from the encounter this Samaritan woman had with Jesus is that immediately she realised whom Jesus was, she abandoned everything and went back to town to tell others to come and see the Messiah who downloaded her life history to her at first meeting. Today many of us have testimonies of mighty acts of God in our lives that can bring men to Jesus that we are sitting on. Every testimony of the goodness of God, his mighty acts, deliverance and even salvation of our souls are tools for evangelism in our hands. Many excuse themselves from getting involved in soul winning, saying they can’t preach. But the truth is that there’s no one that can’t share a testimony. Today and always, make sure you share with someone around you testimonies of what Jesus did in your life. Testimonies are one of the weapons of warfare the Lord has given us to use and overcome the enemy at any point in time. Testimonies breeds faith. Without faith faith no man can receive anything from God including salvation. The testimony of what God did with David in the lonely wilderness was all he needed to overcome an overrated giant like Goliath that he was no match for physically.

Prayer :Thank you Father God for every testimony of your goodness, salvation and mighty works in my life. Teach to war with my testimonies anytime I have need. Help me to use these testimonies of your goodness in my life to draw men to you always. Thank you for making me a soul winner in Jesus wonderful name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Commitment And Discipline.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Friday May 17th, 2024.

Topic : Commitment And Discipline.

Memory Verse : 2 Timothy 2:6. The farmer who labors to produce a crop should be the first one to be fed from its harvest.

Bible Reading :2 Timothy 2:3-5 TPT. Key Verse: v4.

Overcome every form of evil as a victorious soldier of Jesus the Anointed One. For every soldier called to active duty must divorce himself from the distractions of this world so that he may fully satisfy the one who chose him. An athlete who doesn’t play by the rules will never receive the trophy, so remain faithful to God!

The day we decided to follow Jesus, we decided to be part of his kingdom and army on earth. And because we are spirits, we belong to a spiritual kingdom. As spiritual soldiers, we engage in spiritual warfare. The primary battle is always within or in our minds. The flesh is always fighting to take control of our entire being. While our spirit man also fights back in order to rule the man. If the ambitions of the flesh is not checked on time, it can destroy a man’s spiritual life which is very dangerous. ‭”So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. For the flesh desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the flesh. They are in conflict with each other, so that you are not to do whatever you want.” Galatians 5:16-17 NIV‬.

Living by the Spirit of God in order to take charge of our lives is a personal decision that men who knows the value take in life and on time too. Just like the athlete, our spiritual walk with God demands discipline. The athlete disciplines himself in many areas of his life intentionally in order to be fit as a champion who can win competitions. Sometimes such discipline touches the things he eats, rigorous exercises he/she gets involved in that can help such individuals be at their best and competiton ready all the time, etc. “Be quick to abstain from senseless traditions and legends, but instead be engaged in the training of truth that brings righteousness. For athletic training only benefits you for a short season, but righteousness brings lasting benefit in everything; for righteousness contains the promise of life, for time and eternity. Faithful is the Word, and everyone should accept him!” 1 Timothy 4:7-9.

On a very important note, we need to understand that we are responsible for how far we can go with God in all this. We will always do well if we are determined to please Jesus in all this who counted us worthy to be enlisted in his team. Just like the farmer, we can only harvest whatever we sow at the end. Our being resourceful and impactful in the kingdom will be determined largely by our personal resolve and commitment to give it our best shot with our eyes fixed on the price (trophy) just like the athlete. We have to desire to become men God can build on in our lifetime. “In a palace you find many kinds of containers and tableware for many different uses. Some are beautifully inlaid with gold or silver, but some are made of wood or earthenware; some of them are used for banquets and special occasions, and some for everyday use. But you, Timothy, must not see your life and ministry this way. Your life and ministry must not be disgraced, for you are to be a pure container of Christ and dedicated to the honorable purposes of your Master, prepared for every good work that he gives you to do.” 2 Timothy 2:20-21.

Prayer : Thank you Father God for choosing me to be part your move on earth in my generation. Help me to be committed to your course and to walk in personal discipline just like a worthy soldier or athlete. Let my life be such you can depend on to impact my world in Jesus wonderful name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Fight To Keep Your Victory

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Thursday May 16th, 2024.

Topic: Fight To Keep Your Victory.

Memory Verse:Ephesians 6:10. Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.

Bible Reading :Ephesians 6:11-13. Key Verse’ v13.

Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

When we discuss spiritual warfare, if we are not careful, it may sound so abstract and distant because we lack understanding. Devil will be glad to see us see it as something that doesn’t concern us in a serious manner. To that extent we may feel less concerned and miss iit. Now, I want us to know that it’s about concerted efforts the enemy of our souls puts up daily to make sure we don’t function maximally or at full capacity in our commitment and dedication to the things of the kingdom for which we have been called. “And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible. I therefore so run, not as uncertainly; so fight I, not as one that beateth the air: But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.” 1 Corinthians 9:25-27.

Now the Bible knows how important this battle is, that the Spirit counselled that we should put on the whole of God in order to stay safe and preserved in the evil day. This is because the enemy is desperate. Therefore he is always looking for a loophole in our lives that he can take advantage of to strike. We have to practically live in God’s presence because only him has what it takes to protect and preserve us when we are dealing with the evil one. In the things of God, when we do what is expected of us before God, himself will do what we can’t do for ourselves. We need to understand that there are men who live and walk among us who represent the kingdom of darkness, even as ourselves represent the kingdom of light. They have their hierarchy and placements and are organised for the singular reason to stop the careless from reaching their destination.

“Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.” 1 Peter 5:8-9. We have to be awake in the spirit, knowing there’s an enemy always lurking around. We have to fight him with every resources heaven made available to us till he submits to our rule and that of our Christ. Now we must also have the understanding that we are always fighting from the point of victory. Our victory was established on the cross where Jesus bled and died. What we now do is to enforce what we already have which the enemy tries to tamper with when given the opportunity, as one who really steals, kills and destroys. “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.” John 10:10-11.

Prayer :Thank you Lord Jesus for what you have done for me by your death and resurrection. Help me to live in the consciousness of the victory you got on my behalf all my days. Let me always be awake in the spirit to ward off every incursions of the wicked on my territory, in Jesus wonderful name.. Amen 🙏🏿.

Be Focused

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Wednesday May 15th, 2024.

Topic : Be Focused.

Memory Verse:Hebrews 10:36. For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.

Bible Reading :Hebrews 10:34-35,37 KJV. Key Verse : v35.

For ye had compassion of me in my bonds, and took joyfully the spoiling of your goods, knowing in yourselves that ye have in heaven a better and an enduring substance.

Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward. For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry.

God desires to do grear and wonderful things in the lives of those who love and serve him. Everything he does goes through his own personal due process. Men who desires to get the best of him need to understand his mode of operation as to key into it till they have the results or proofs to show. In the first place, we need to understand that our walk with God must cost us something before we can make any meaningful gains. The cost varies from individuals. To some, it can be some relationship that doesn’t glorify God they must do away with. To another person it may be persecution sometimes from even close and loved ones who feel uncomfortable with our stand with Christ Jesus, all kinds of losses, mockery of men, etc. The enemy does all these looking for a way to weaken our resolve to follow Jesus unconditionally. “May the thought of this cause you to jump for joy, even though lately you’ve had to put up with the grief of many trials. But these only reveal the sterling core of your faith, which is far more valuable than gold that perishes, for even gold is refined by fire. Your authentic faith will result in even more praise, glory, and honor when Jesus the Anointed One is revealed.” 1 Peter 1:6-7 TPT.

One factor that will help anyone stand strong when our faith in Christ is being tried is to focus of the reward or crown just like the master himself and our early father’s in the faith. Our text rightly said that one reason we must not give up in the face of trials is because there’s always a recompense (compensation) for every price you pay in him and also a reward for every work done in his name and to his glory. Some of these we receive here on earth while the most important and greater part is reserved for eternity. “But Israel shall be saved in the LORD with an everlasting salvation: ye shall not be ashamed nor confounded world without end. For thus saith the LORD that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I am the LORD; and there is none else. I have not spoken in secret, in a dark place of the earth: I said not unto the seed of Jacob, Seek ye me in vain: I the LORD speak righteousness, I declare things that are right.” Isaiah 45:17-19.

One important key that will always be useful to get us to our destination in him is patience. Note the fact that after we have done God’s will or what the Lord commanded or expects of us, we still need to wait patiently for our expected compensation which most time happens here on earth and reward which we receive mainly after our earthly walk him is over and we return to be with him forever. Reward is that we receive at the end as a result of our good works on earth, done to the glory of his name. “And the four and twenty elders, which sat before God on their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshipped God, Saying, We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come; because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned. And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.”

Revelation 11:16-18.

Prayer :Thank you Father God because you have not called me to seek and serve you in vain. Today and always, help me to stay focused on the price of the high calling. Help me to overcome in every trials that comes my way. I must finish strong in Jesus wonderful name…. Amen 🙏🏿.
