Don’t Negotiate With The Enemy.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Thursday June 13th, 2024.

Topic : Don’t Negotiate With The Enemy.

Memory Verse : Mathew 11:12. For a long time now people have tried to force themselves into God’s kingdom.

Bible Reading : ‭Exodus 10:10-12 MSG. Key Verse : v12.

He said, “I’d sooner send you off with God’s blessings than let you go with your children. Look, you’re up to no good—it’s written all over your faces. Nothing doing. Just the men are going—go ahead and worship God. That’s what you want so badly.” And they were thrown out of Pharaoh’s presence. God said to Moses: “Stretch your hand over Egypt and signal the locusts to cover the land of Egypt, devouring every blade of grass in the country, everything that the hail didn’t get.”

At this point in time in divine calendar, it was time for the people of Israel to leave the land of bondage and excruciating pain and move into their Canaan, a place of abundance and fulfillment of divine purpose. The Lord commissioned Moses for this special assignment of liberating the people of God from bondage and bringing them to Canaan that flowed with milk and honey to enable them serve the Lord without encumbrances. Pharaoh king of Egypt was adamant in the face of divine judgement that ravaged him and his people, insisting that the people of God must remain in bondage or go to sacrifice to their God at his own, instead of God’s terms. He only obeyed and released the people of God after God killed all the first born of every creature in Egypt, both humans and animals.

The devil never changes. Truth is that the enemy will want you to wallow in ignorance even as a believer. He will never want you to become whom God designed you to be in the real sense of it. When you wake up to take what belongs to you in the kingdom of God as your birthright, he will not want to give them up easily most time. He will always take some steps to discourage you, so that you can maintain status quo. If that doesn’t work on you, he will take some steps further to place obstacles on your way in his craftiness and desperation to keep you where you don’t belong anymore. “Pharaoh called in Moses: “Go and worship God. Leave your flocks and herds behind. But go ahead and take your children.” But Moses said, “You have to let us take our sacrificial animals and offerings with us so we can sacrifice them in worship to our God. Our livestock has to go with us with not a hoof left behind; they are part of the worship of our God. And we don’t know just what will be needed until we get there.” Exodus 10:24-26.

Today you have to be angry with every situation or power that is trying to shortchange you. They stand as a type of Pharaoh that work against God’s purpose in your life. Some Pharaoh want you to just exist in an incapacitated form, without making any serious impact in life. At other times they want to stand against good things coming your way to divert such. They want to steal your joy, kill your vision and destroy your future. I bet you, some Pharaoh want you dead. Anything that threatens your good future and God’s plan for your life is an enemy that must be met with divine violence. You don’t have any option but to fight your way through using every resources Jesus Christ made available to us by the help of his Spirit. Never you forget that all you need to overcome are given already, all you need is to recognise and mobilise them to get desired results. “Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” James 4:7 KJV.

Prayer :Thank you Father God because you are greater and stronger than all. Thank you because you have what it takes to bring to pass every of your good plans for my life. I stand on your promises and subdue any name or power that want to hold me down against your will. Thank you for giving me victory in Jesus wonderful name… Amen 🙏🏿.

True Religion

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Wednesday June 12th, 2024.

Topic : True Religion.

Memory Verse : ‭Luke 10:33. But a Samaritan, as he traveled, came where the man was; and when he saw him, he took pity on him.

Bible Reading : ‭Luke 10:30-32 NIV‬. Key Verse : v33.

In reply Jesus said: “A man was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho, when he was attacked by robbers. They stripped him of his clothes, beat him and went away, leaving him half dead. A priest happened to be going down the same road, and when he saw the man, he passed by on the other side. So too, a Levite, when he came to the place and saw him, passed by on the other side.

Jesus Christ was teaching this time and a teacher of the law or a lawyer wanted to tempt him by asking him what he could do to inherit eternal life. Jesus replied, “What does Moses teach us? What do you read in the Law?” The religious scholar answered, “It states, ‘You must love the Lord God with all your heart, all your passion, all your energy, and your every thought. And you must love your neighbor as well as you love yourself.’” Jesus said, “That is correct. Now go and do exactly that and you will live.” Luke 10:26-28 TPT. The lawyer then asked who should be his neighbour. Jesus then had to use the parable of the good Samaritan to explain who a neighbour should be.

The main actor in the parable was a Jewish man travelling from Jerusalem to Jericho when he fell prey to robbers on his way. The robbers mercilessly beat him up and stripped him of every valuable on him. They left him in the pool of his own blood and with life threatening injuries. Two men who were religious leaders passed that route and saw him struggling for his dear life and avoided coming close to help, but passed by the other side of the road. These class of men (the Priest the Levite) by reason of their exposure and training who should known the word of God better avoided getting close to help the needy man. It was only the Samaritan who was considered by the Jews to be outsider to the covenant of Israel that took responsibility and made the much needed sacrifice to save the life of the traveller that he never knew before this particular incident.

“Faith Works My dear brothers and sisters, what good is it if someone claims to have faith but demonstrates no good works to prove it? How could this kind of faith save anyone? For example, if a brother or sister in the faith is poorly clothed and hungry and you leave them saying, “Good-bye. I hope you stay warm and have plenty to eat,” but you don’t provide them with a coat or even a cup of soup, what good is your faith? So then faith that doesn’t involve action is phony.” James 2:14-17 TPT. Today we need understand that true religion is to show care and love just the way the good Samaritan did to a man he never knew. He took the man to the hospital and paid his bills to the last dime, making sure he got proper medical attention at his expense. He was a true neighbour. True religion is demonstrated by love and care.

Prayer : Thank you Lord Jesus for loving and dying to save me. Thank you for teaching me to live like you. Help me to be a true worshipper who loves and care for the well being of others just like yourself. Let my life bless others in Jesus wonderful name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Be An Encourager.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Tuesday June 11th, 2024.

Topic : Be An Encourager.

Memory Verse :‭ Philippians 1:8. God can testify how I long for all of you with the affection of Christ Jesus.

Bible Reading : ‭Philippians 1:9-11 NIV‬. Key Verse : v11.

And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless for the day of Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ—to the glory and praise of God.

Apostle Paul had a very good working relationship with the Philippian Church which he founded during his second missionary journey. Paul was so exceptional on the assignment that he cared for the body of Christ from the prison. He didn’t allow what he passed through to weaken his resolve in the Lord, neither could they slow him down on the assignment. From prison he solicited for prayers in order to be able to reach out to as many as God wanted him to. “Be faithful to pray as intercessors who are fully alert and giving thanks to God. And please pray for me, that God will open a door of opportunity for us to preach the revelation of the mystery of Christ, for whose sake I am imprisoned. Pray that I would unfold and reveal fully this mystery, for that is my delightful assignment.” Colossians 4:2-4 TPT.

The Philippian church on their own was a very caring set of believers. They stood by Apostle Paul when he needed them most, not only with their prayers, but also with their substance. Their behaviour towards him made him to give them a special placement in his heart and he prayed God increase the depths of their revelation in Christ so that they could serve and give more selflessly to kingdom assignment. “You’ve so graciously provided for my essential needs during this season of difficulty. For I want you to know that the Philippian church was the only church that supported me in the beginning as I went out to preach the gospel. You were the only church that sowed into me financially, and when I was in Thessalonica, you supported me for well over a year. I mention this not because I’m requesting a gift, but so that the fruit of your generosity may bring you an abundant reward.” Philippians 4:14-17 TPT.

This end time the Lord wants the Church of Jesus Christ to pick lessons of practical love for one another from the Philippian church. We need to discern the need of fellow believers, especially those going through trying times or serious persecution around us and in distant places. We can always lift them up in our prayers. Not only that, as much as we have opportunity our financial or material support will go a long way to encourage and sustain them. Infact, every believer needs an encourager especially in difficult and trying times. One of the fruits of righteousness the Spirit demands from the body of Christ in our days is to look beyond our territories to care, support and encourage others as much as we have the ability. ‭”“A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”” John 13:34-35.

Prayer :Thank you Father God for making me part of your kingdom on earth. From today, help me to live to be an encourager of other men, especially believers at any capacity you place me per time in the kingdom. Let my life bless and lift others to serve you better in Jesus precious name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Kingdom Greatness.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Monday June 10th, 2024.

Topic : Kingdom Greatness.

Memory Verse : Matthew 18:4. Whoever continually humbles himself to become like this gentle child is the greatest one in heaven’s kingdom realm.

Bible Reading : Matthew 18:1-3 TPT. Key Verse :v3.

At that time the disciples came to ask Jesus, “Who is considered to be the greatest in heaven’s kingdom realm?” Jesus called a little one to his side and said to them, “Learn this well: Unless you dramatically change your way of thinking and become teachable, and learn about heaven’s kingdom realm with the wide-eyed wonder of a child, you will never be able to enter in.

This time the disciples of Jesus Christ in their inquisitive nature came to him to find out from him what it takes to be great or carry greatness, the kingdom way. He then brought a child close him side as a role model this time and began to teach them that the key to kingdom greatness is controlled by simplicity, love and humility, just like a child. I want to believe that they never expected that because with the eyes or understanding of ordinary men, that should look or sound stupid and out of this world. But that is in line with the word of God which says that God’s ways, thoughts and wisdom doesn’t agree with that of men of this world. ‭”“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the Lord. “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.”” Isaiah 55:8-9 NIV‬.

Now, I want us to pick some important points for ourselves from the life of a child as taught by Jesus that will help us in our daily walk with Jesus our master. The first thing Jesus wants us to learn from a child here is to be plyable and teachable before him. Jesus gave us a life guide and teacher called the Holy Spirit. Sometimes the leading and instructions of the Holy Spirit to us may not be what we expected as men. If we begin to dissect such with our human understanding or wisdom, we may miss God. Just like a child, we don’t need to dissect divine leading or instructions (when we are sure they are from the Lord), all we need is just to obey to get “, desired results from his presence. Throughout the Bible great men that walked with God stood out from the crowd by hearing and obeying simple instructions from the Lord that sounded foolish to the intellectual mind of an ordinary man. Imagine the people of Judah waiting on God in fasting and prayer for three days under the leadership of King Jehisaphst seeking help to overcome their enemies and God instructing them to approach a war front with singers instead of soldiers.

Another dimension to kingdom greatness I want us to observe here from the life of a child beside humility that is loud in the main text is love. ‭”Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.” 1 Corinthians 13:4-5, 7 NIV‬. King James in v5 says that love believes all things because of trust just like a child. The child hardly gives it a second thought when you give him hope of what to expect. Even when it doesn’t materialise on time, the child will never give up trusting. Unshakeable loyalty to God that comes from a humble heart is always a bye product of love for the Lord. That is when a man can say, even if he slays me, I will keep following him.

Prayer :Thank you Lord Jesus for giving me your Spirit to help me walk in the paths of greatness with you. Help me to have the mindset of a child in my daily walk with you. As I follow divine instructions in humility and love, let my life be filled with testimonies of your goodness all my days in Jesus wonderful name… Amen 🙏🏿.

Love and Forgiveness.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Sunday June 9th, 2024.

Topic : Love and Forgiveness.

Memory Verse: Mark 11:26. But if you will not release forgiveness, don’t expect your Father in heaven to release you from your misdeeds.”

Bible Reading : John 13:34-35 TPT. Key Verse : v35.

“So I give you now a new commandment: Love each other just as much as I have loved you. For when you demonstrate the same love I have for you by loving one another, everyone will know that you’re my true followers.”

This period on Sundays we are looking at the need for us not just to be ordinary worshippers, but to step up in boldness to become disciples of Christ indeed. That is God’s will for us and the main reason God had to appear on earth in the flesh….not only to save, but also to raise men or followers unto himself. Last week, I mentioned that one of the tragedies of Christianity in our days is that many fill our churches with misplaced priorities. They just want to solve some problems by the help of the Lord without any desire or intention to follow him or become his disciples. Now I want us to start looking at those qualities we must possess if we are true followers of Jesus Christ. Today we shall be looking at only two of those very important characteristics of a disciple. The two are love and forgiveness and they work hand in hand. Anywhere there’s genuine love, forgiveness becomes easy.

Now looking at love who I can say fathers forgiveness, Jesus taught us that our standard for love is himself and not any other person. In John 13: 34 he taught us expressly that every love and care we received from him as our source and king, we are to extend to other men we meet in the course of our lives on earth. He went further to explain in the next verse that when we love and show enough care for one another, men will know by our actions that we are followers of the master. “Delightfully loved ones, if he loved us with such tremendous love, then “loving one another” should be our way of life! No one has ever gazed upon the fullness of God’s splendor. But if we love one another, God makes his permanent home in us, and we make our permanent home in him, and his love is brought to its full expression in us. And he has given us his Spirit within us so that we can have the assurance that he lives in us and that we live in him.” 1 John 4:11-13.

One of the determinant factors of the presence of love as a lifestyle in any man or believer is the ability to forgive just like the master himself. In some occasions in the Bible, we had situations where men were terribly sick because of sins they committed, Christ forgave them on seeing their predicament, so that they could be healed, Luke 5:17-23, John 5:1-14. Again the people caught a woman in the act of adultery and wanted Jesus approval to stone her to death according to the laws of Moses. Rather than consent, Jesus made sure the people left her alone by demanding that any one of them who had no sin, should cast their stone first on the woman. After they dispersed, Jesus forgave her and told her to go and sin no more, John 8:3-11. Now I must point out that one the commonest sin found among believers of all class is unforgiveness, Matthew 18:21-22 . Lastly, there three things unforgiveness will do to any man, especially believers. They are : (1) Unforgiveness brings retardation to many believers in life in whatever they do and sometimes sickness. (2) It will be a hindrance to your prayers from being heard or answered. (3) No man who leaves this earth bearing unforgiveness can see Jesus in victory.

Prayer : Thank you Lord Jesus because whom you love you always instruct. From today, give me a heart that loves just like yourself. Help me to always forgive fellow men any time they offend me. Thank you for the grace to be like you in everything in Jesus precious name….. Amen 🙏🏿.

Beyond Meeting Needs.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Saturday June 8th, 2024.

Topic : Beyond Meeting Needs.

Memory Verse : John 6:41. When the Jews who were hostile to Jesus heard him say, “I am the bread that came down from heaven,” they immediately began to complain,

Bible Reading : John 6:25-27. Key Verse : v27.

When they finally found him, they asked him, “Teacher, how did you get here?” Jesus replied, “Let me make this very clear, you came looking for me because I fed you by a miracle, not because you believe in me. Why would you strive for food that is perishable and not be passionate to seek the food of eternal life, which never spoils? I, the Son of Man, am ready to give you what matters most, for God the Father has destined me for this purpose.”

Jesus just fed about five thousand men excluding women and children on the other side. After a hectic day of ministering to the people, he had compassion on the people because they were hungry and there wasn’t any place they could buy food because it was late and he didn’t want to send them home just like that. “Have everyone sit down,” Jesus said to his disciples. So on the vast grassy slope, more than five thousand hungry people sat down. Jesus then took the barley loaves and the fish and gave thanks to God. He then gave it to the disciples to distribute to the people. Miraculously, the food multiplied, with everyone eating as much as they wanted! When everyone was satisfied, Jesus told his disciples, “Now go back and gather up the pieces left over so that nothing will be wasted.” John 6:10-12.

At the end of it all, the people began to contemplate making him king because of the way he is able to meet their needs. He had to find a way out of that place. The next day, they sought after him till they found him. Because he is God and knew their mind, he began to let them know that they were not looking for him for the right reasons. The people was more concerned about what to eat and drink to satisfy their physical body. On the other hand, Jesus had a mission of selling the vision of God’s kingdom to them. He came to restore or build a spiritual man. He had a better food for their spirit man which they didn’t place any value on. The more he tried to sell himself to them as the real thing which is the word of God, the more they misunderstood him. “The truth is,” Jesus said, “Moses didn’t give you the bread of heaven. It’s my Father who offers bread that comes as a dramatic sign from heaven. The bread of God is the One who came out of heaven to give his life to feed the world.” John 6:32-33.

“Then please, sir, give us this bread every day,” they replied. Jesus said to them, “I am the Bread of Life. Come every day to me and you will never be hungry. Believe in me and you will never be thirsty.” John 6:34-35. Jesus is the word of God made flesh or in human form. Many people still make the mistake of going after what he has or can do for them when he is out to give us his entire self. The miracle worker himself is no doubt higher than any miracle we can get from him. When we have him with us or in our lives, ourselves will not need to seek miracles as we become empowered to produce the miracles ourselves anytime there is need because of his Spirit at work in our lives. “And these miracle signs will accompany those who believe: They will drive out demons in the power of my name. They will speak in tongues. They will be supernaturally protected from snakes and from drinking anything poisonous. And they will lay hands on the sick and heal them.” Mark 16:17-18.

Prayer : Thank you Father God for giving me Jesus. Lord Jesus I appreciate your interest in making me part of your spiritual kingdom on earth. Help me to to live beyond my immediate needs to receive deeper things you want to deposit in me by your Spirit, so that I can be a blessing to my generation in Jesus wonderful name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Take Advantage Of His Partnership

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Friday June 7th, 2024.

Topic: Take Advantage Of His Partnership.

Memory Verse: Matthew 11:30. For all that I require of you will be pleasant and easy to bear.”

Bible Reading : Matthew 11:27-29 TPT. Key Verse: v29.

You have entrusted me with all that you are and all that you have. No one fully and intimately knows the Son except the Father. And no one fully and intimately knows the Father except the Son. But the Son is able to unveil the Father to anyone he chooses. “Are you weary, carrying a heavy burden? Then come to me. I will refresh your life, for I am your oasis. Simply join your life with mine. Learn my ways and you’ll discover that I’m gentle, humble, easy to please. You will find refreshment and rest in me.

One of the worst tragedies of life is to face life based entirely on human strength and wisdom. This is because of the limitations of human efforts and capacity in every endeavour. I keep saying it that God never designed man to live independent of him. Rather, we were created by him to also depend on him when our own ability gets exhausted. This doesn’t mean that we should be docile or wait on God for things we can and should always do. Depending on God rather is a life of consciousness that we came from him and needs his presence in whatsoever we do. It is having the understanding that without him nothing meaningful happens in life. Men who think they don’t need him in life most time discover when it is very late that they live on the wrong side of life. “The Lord sends poverty and wealth; he humbles and he exalts. He raises the poor from the dust and lifts the needy from the ash heap; he seats them with princes and has them inherit a throne of honor. “For the foundations of the earth are the Lord’s; on them he has set the world. He will guard the feet of his faithful servants, but the wicked will be silenced in the place of darkness. “It is not by strength that one prevails;” 1 Samuel 2:7-9 NIV.

Jesus wants to be our friend and partner, so that he can defend and shield us from the attacks or the enemy of our souls. He wants us to come with a sincere heart to him always, just the way we are. Jesus is never looking for perfect, but sincere men who have an inner hunger for him and enjoy living in his presence always. When we draw near to him as a friend, he is able to extend his ministry of help to us as well show us the right paths to follow in life. He also teaches us the ways of success without stress, as we depend on his strength and wisdom. ‭”So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. “All who rage against you will surely be ashamed and disgraced; those who oppose you will be as nothing and perish. Though you search for your enemies, you will not find them. Those who wage war against you will be as nothing at all.” Isaiah 41:10-12 NIV.

This day Jesus is reminding you that he loves and cares about you so much as to die so that you may live. He is interested in every battles you faced in life, business, career, marriage, family, health, etc. that wearried you all this time. Bring him in and in faith too so that you can take a rest. Learn to partner with the Lord. As a partner in divine assignment don’t always look for what God will do for you, find out what yourself can do to warm yourself deeper into his own heart as a friend, lover and partner. By the time you finish labouring in his own field, you will return to yours to find out that even your personal works has been done. “He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him. John 14:21 KJV.

Prayer : Thank Lord Jesus for your unfettered love for me. Help me to understand the depths of your love for me and commitment to my well being. As live my life in partnership with you, let evidence of your mercy and goodness be seen in everything I do in Jesus wonderful name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Time To Recover.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Thursday June 6th, 2024.

Topic : Time To Recover.

Memory Verse: ‭2 Kings 6:3. Then one of them said, “Won’t you please come with your servants?” “I will,” Elisha replied.

Bible Reading : ‭2 Kings 6:5-7 NIV‬. Key Verse : v6.

As one of them was cutting down a tree, the iron axhead fell into the water. “Oh no, my lord!” he cried out. “It was borrowed!” The man of God asked, “Where did it fall?” When he showed him the place, Elisha cut a stick and threw it there, and made the iron float. “Lift it out,” he said. Then the man reached out his hand and took it.

This time students of ministry under Elisha wanted to carry out an expansion work on their accomodation. It was possible that they had increased enrollment or patronage which began to tell on their facilities. Then, one of them came up with a suggestion that they go to Jordan and fetch woods so that they could carry out expansion work on the facility hosting them. When they got to Jordan where the trees or woods were located, they went to work. As they were cutting wood, an axe head one of the sons of the prophet or students was using, fell into the river. The user had to raise an alarm because the axe head wasn’t his, as it was borrowed. Fortunately enough, they were able to convince Elisha to go with them to Jordan for this exercise in the first place. When the man of God heard the cry of the lost axe head, he was touched, therefore he had to do something to help out of the situation.

The man of God did something that looked foolish to the eyes of everyone present, but that was what delivered the miracle. “The man of God asked, “Where did it fall?” When he showed him the place, Elisha cut a stick and threw it there, and made the iron float. “Lift it out,” he said. Then the man reached out his hand and took it.” 2 Kings 6:6-7. On a normal day, wood can never magnet or pull heavy iron out of any river bed. But because the power of God was present the rules or natural laws was altered as the piece of wood Elisha dipped into the river magnated and pulled the axe head off the river bed. Another interesting angle to what God did with the man of God in that situation was that the axe head floated (as heavy as it was), so that they could see and pick it.

Today we need to understand that Prophets are men God raises in every dispensation to use them and wipe away tears from the eyes of those who weep because of what they are passing through. When they come into a matter with the weight of grace, natural laws are always suspended. ‭”Then the Lord reached out his hand and touched my mouth and said to me, “I have put my words in your mouth. See, today I appoint you over nations and kingdoms to uproot and tear down, to destroy and overthrow, to build and to plant.” Jeremiah 1:9-10. This day, I want to introduce you to a dimension of God that uproots and tears down every plantings of the enemy in a man’s life. The power of God tears down and destroys every structure of the enemy in lives and families that brings pain and panic. The God we serve destroys the works of Satan and overthrows his wicked counsel anywhere they exist. That is the very reason Jesus Christ had to manifest on earth as a man though he is God. Today there is grace to build or rebuild whatever good thing you desire from God. Even what the enemy thought he destroyed are being rebuilt now. You are now being planted in God’s presence to flourish forever. Nothing good shall die in your hands anymore.

Prayer :Thank you Father God because you are the God of signs and wonders. Thank you because with you all things are possible. In the name of Jesus I destroy every structure of darkness in my life, business, career and family. By the mercies of God I recover every thing I lost in the past due to my mistakes or activities of the evil one in Jesus wonderful name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Follow Divine Instructions.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Wednesday June 5th, 2024.

Topic : Follow Divine Instructions.

Memory Verse: Deuteronomy 8:18. But remember the Lord your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth, and so confirms his covenant, which he swore to your ancestors, as it is today.

Bible Reading :‭Genesis 26:12-14 NIV‬. Key Verse : v26.

Isaac planted crops in that land and the same year reaped a hundredfold, because the Lord blessed him. The man became rich, and his wealth continued to grow until he became very wealthy. He had so many flocks and herds and servants that the Philistines envied him.

One of the best thing that can happen to a man in his lifetime is to walk with God. The best place anyone can live anyday and anytime is in his presence. The walk that Abraham had with God in his lifetime became a ground of blessing to his descendants. The covenant of blessing God gave him robbed off on his son Isaac and continued. There was famine in the land and when Isaac got to Gérar, the Lord instructed him not to go further into Egypt, but to remain in Gérar for God to bless him there opposition notwithstanding. “The Lord appeared to Isaac and said, “Do not go down to Egypt; live in the land where I tell you to live. Stay in this land for a while, and I will be with you and will bless you. For to you and your descendants I will give all these lands and will confirm the oath I swore to your father Abraham. ” Genesis 26:2-3.

Isaac followed divine instructions and settled down in Gérar. All his initial fears and challenges was taken care of as God granted him favor before Abimelech the king and put his fear in the heart of the Philistines. Because he was in the place of his place of his primary assignment, his blessing located him right where he was. He became so blessed, rich and waxed strong that the Philistines in who’s land he sojourned envied him. The more they tried to stop him, the stronger he waxed. “When the men of that place asked him about his wife, he said, “She is my sister,” because he was afraid to say, “She is my wife.” He thought, “Then Abimelek said to Isaac, “Move away from us; you have become too powerful for us.” So Isaac moved away from there and encamped in the Valley of Gerar, where he settled. [18] Isaac reopened the wells that had been dug in the time of his father Abraham, which the Philistines had stopped up after Abraham died, and he gave them the same names his father had given them.” Genesis 26:16-18.

Today we have to learn to be where God wants us to at any point in time, to enjoy his protection and blessings maximally. In his heart, Isaac desired to enter Egypt, but couldn’t in obedience to the voice of the Lord that came to him. In divine economy, obedience is always key to abundant blessings of God. One of the reasons we struggle much sometimes is because we fail to discern the voice of the Spirit, which exposes men to avoidable attack and losses. Again the Spirit of God is the greatest teacher of men. No one who follows his instructions can ever fail in life. ‭”So if you faithfully obey the commands I am giving you today—to love the Lord your God and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul— then I will send rain on your land in its season, both autumn and spring rains, so that you may gather in your grain, new wine and olive oil. I will provide grass in the fields for your cattle, and you will eat and be satisfied.” Deuteronomy 11:13-15.

Prayer : Thank you Father God because you care so much about me. Let your Spirit be my guide and teacher in everything I do. Thank you because you will decorate my life with riches and wealth as I follow your leading obediently in Jesus wonderful name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Exempted From Evil Report.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Tuesday June 4th, 2024.

Topic : Exempted From Evil Report.

Memory Verse : ‭Exodus 8:23. I will make a distinction between my people and your people. This sign will occur tomorrow.’ ”

Bible Reading :‭Exodus 8:20-22 NIV‬. Key Verse: v22.

Then the Lord said to Moses, “Get up early in the morning and confront Pharaoh as he goes to the river and say to him, ‘This is what the Lord says: Let my people go, so that they may worship me. If you do not let my people go, I will send swarms of flies on you and your officials, on your people and into your houses. The houses of the Egyptians will be full of flies; even the ground will be covered with them. “ ‘But on that day I will deal differently with the land of Goshen, where my people live; no swarms of flies will be there, so that you will know that I, the Lord, am in this land.

Here we see Pharaoh who was king of Egypt trying to stand on the way of divine agenda for the people of Israel. The word of God took it’s course in the lives of the people of Israel as spoken to Abraham. The Israelites saw themselves in the land of Egypt trying to survive the farmine of those days. What began with warm reception later became sour out of envy after Joseph and Pharaoh that worked with him died. Because God’s hand of blessing and increase was on the children of Israel, the Egyptians did everything within their reach to stop them. The people of Israel became slaves in Egypt in a bid to annihilate them. When the people of Israel cried out to God, he raised Moses to deliver his people from bondage in Egypt. “As the sun was setting, Abram fell into a deep sleep, and a thick and dreadful darkness came over him. Then the Lord said to him, “Know for certain that for four hundred years your descendants will be strangers in a country not their own and that they will be enslaved and mistreated there. But I will punish the nation they serve as slaves, and afterward they will come out with great possessions.” Genesis 15:12-14.

When Moses arrived the palace of Pharaoh on this liberation mandate, the authorities of Egypt tried their best to stop him to no avail. Because Pharaoh was unwilling to allow the people of God to be free from the bondage of Egypt, so that they could serve their God without encumbrances, God had to bring divine judgement in the form of plagues upon the entire land of Egypt. These plagues happened as a result of disobedience to the word of God from the mouth of Moses and unkept promises on the side of Pharaoh. One thing was significant throughout the season of the plagues. That is the fact that in all the plaques the entire land of Egypt suffered, the Lord separated Goshen where the Israelites dwelt such. None of these divine judgements entered the territory of God’s people.

Today, we need to remember that we are living in the last days. Because many are living in disobedience to the word of God, they are going to suffer severe consequences. This will affect every sphere of livelihood including economies of men and nations who treat God and his children with leviity or who disobey the voice of true messengers of righteousness. There is need for every believer to consciously obey divine instructions in all we do as to dwell in present day spiritual Goshen (a place of safety) “……..just as God has said: I will make my home in them and walk among them. I will be their God, and they will be my people. For this reason, “Come out from among them and be separate,” says the Lord. “Touch nothing that is unclean, and I will embrace you. I will be a true Father to you, and you will be my beloved sons and daughters,” says the Lord Yahweh Almighty.” 2 Corinthians 6:16b-18.

Prayer : Thank you Father God because your word will always come to pass in my life. In these last days, help me to live to reveverence and obey your voice all my days. Keep in the paths of righteousness and truth. In your mighty mercy, I and my loved ones shall be exempted from all forms of evil report in Jesus wonderful name…. Amen 🙏🏿.
