Your Season Of Remembrance And Visitation

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Saturday November 2nd, 2024.

Topic : Your Season Of Remembrance And Visitation.

Memory Verse : Isaiah 40:14. With whom does God consult in order to know and understand and to learn how things should be done?

Bible Reading : Isaiah 40:9-11 GNB. Key Verse : v10.

Jerusalem, go up on a high mountain and proclaim the good news! Call out with a loud voice, Zion; announce the good news! Speak out and do not be afraid. Tell the towns of Judah that their God is coming! The Sovereign Lord is coming to rule with power, bringing with him the people he has rescued. He will take care of his flock like a shepherd; he will gather the lambs together and carry them in his arms; he will gently lead their mothers.

The people of God here found themselves in a situation that was ugly, as they were in bondage in the hands of their enemies because they offended their God. Anytime the people go out of his way, he uses enemy nations to punish them. But as a father, he is always very compassionate and tempers justice with mercy. This day, God from the mouth of his servant has a message of hope for the people of old and as many are serving the Lord that created heaven and earth and everything residing in them. Because the word of God carries the life of God in it, it is able to produce results or bear fruits in every generation and in any given situation as we apply them. “Let us, then, do our best to receive that rest, so that no one of us will fail as they did because of their lack of faith. The word of God is alive and active, sharper than any double-edged sword. It cuts all the way through, to where soul and spirit meet, to where joints and marrow come together. It judges the desires and thoughts of the heart.” Hebrews 4:11-12.

The message of hope from the mouth of Isaiah is tied to the emergence of Jesus Christ the saviour of the world, for are no lasting solution to pressing life issues outside him. The one we are talking about is not like the creature or any idols formed by the craftiness of men who are handicapped in certain situations and circumstances. Jesus as creator has control over everything he created and they all are here to serve him and his purpose in our lives. “All the animals in the forests of Lebanon are not enough for a sacrifice to our God, and its trees are too few to kindle the fire. The nations are nothing at all to him. To whom can God be compared? How can you describe what he is like? He is not like an idol that workmen make, that metalworkers cover with gold and set in a base of silver. The man who cannot afford silver or gold chooses wood that will not rot. He finds a skilful craftsman to make an image that won’t fall down.” Isaiah 40:16-20.

As many as are anchoring their hope and trust on the almighty creator, it is your season of remembrance in God’s presence and divine visitation. The Lord is coming to your rescue in his sovereignty. The sovereign dimension of the almighty saviour gives him capacity to do anything for any man or people anytime he chooses, without taking permission from another because he is the highest authority in the entire universe. From today, he wants you to understand that he is the shepherd of your soul. This means that you need stay with him unconditionally and depend on him for direction in the affairs of life. The sheep has no plans of their own, rather they depend on the prudential guidance of their shepherd for direction, provision and safety. They always depend on his sense of right judgement in everything for their survival and well being. “The Sovereign Lord is coming to rule with power, bringing with him the people he has rescued. He will take care of his flock like a shepherd; he will gather the lambs together and carry them in his arms;     he will gently lead their mothers.” Isaiah 40:10-11.

Prayer : Thank you Father God because no man depending on you fails in life. Thank you because you are the shepherd of my soul and sovereign king of the universe. Thank you for opening a chapter of remembrance and visitation in my life that no power can close in Jesus mighty name….. Amen 🙏🏿.

Understanding And Walking In God’s Plan

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Friday November 1st, 2024.

Topic :Understanding And Walking In God’s Plan.

Memory Verse : Acts 22:21. “Then he said to me, ‘Go at once, for I am sending you to preach to the non-Jewish nations.’”

Bible Reading : Acts 22:8-10 TPT. Key Verse : v10.

“I answered, ‘Who are you, my Lord?’ “He said to me, ‘I am Jesus, the Victorious. I am the one you are persecuting.’ “Those who were with me saw the brilliant light, but they didn’t hear the voice of the one who spoke to me. “So I asked, ‘Lord, what am I to do?’ “And the Lord said to me, ‘Get up and go into Damascus, and there you will be told about all that you are destined to do.’

Here we see Apostle Paul arrested in Jerusalem in fulfillment of the prophecy of Agabus. The Jews failed to understand the move of God as revealed through the life of Jesus, whose life and ministry they misunderstood. The high priests saw him as a spoiler to their means of livelihood. They desired to live in what was fading or what God was doing away with. They couldn’t understand the dispensation of grace that replaced the era where they related with God based on the Tora or laws of Moses. When they conspired and killed Jesus, thinking that his death will end his work on earth. But they were wrong as that became the seal of the new order or testament. His blood as was shed on the cross became all that God needed to perfect the work of redemption. After Pentecost, the disciples was equipped by his Spirit to bear witness to the truth they knew about God’s plan of redemption made available in christ Jesus. Apostle Paul was leading the wave of persecution against the saints when grace located him and turned him into a witness to the truth.

“The men accompanying Saul were stunned and speechless, for they heard a heavenly voice but could see no one. Saul replied, “Who are you, Lord?” “I am Jesus, the Victorious, the one you are persecuting. Now, get up and go into the city, where you will be told what you are to do.” Saul stood to his feet, and even though his eyes were open he could see nothing—he was blind. So the men had to take him by the hand and lead him into Damascus.”” Acts 9:5-8. Paul had intentions to serve God, but was getting it wrong because he lacked understanding. He collected letters of authority from the high priests of his days and rulers to arrest, kill and maim as many as he could lay hands on standing for Jesus, thinking they were violating the ways of their fathers which is Judaism. God had to reveal his mercy to him, so that he could channel that zeal he had for the God of his fathers to the place where it will really benefit himself and the kingdom of God. As a result that tough encounter with Jesus on his way to Damascus, his life became a blessing instead of him a scourge.

As we enter a new month, we need to take some lessons from the experience of Apostle Paul. The first lesson here today is that men don’t fight for the true and living God who created heaven and earth. The living God is able to fight for himself, his course and also those who serve him in Spirit and in Truth. In our generation many think they can fight for the idols of their fathers that the move of God is sweeping away into oblivion, not knowing that they are digging their own graves because no one fights God or his true messengers and succeed. Another truth we need to pick here is that some experiences some of us are having is because God desires to reposition them, so that they can fulfil divine purpose. This is not all about preaching the gospel, but this move of God will touch carers and businesses. There are men God desires to reposition and empower for more productivity in their lifetime in different spheres of life. Such men need to be sensitive to pick divine intelligence that will change the trajectory of their lives including business and career from what it is presently to what God wants it to be. Such men will also need courage to take steps of faith in obedience the voice of the Spirit because therein lies the key to answer to their prayers for growth and increase. Joshua 1:6-7.

Prayer : Thank you Lord Jesus because you are God. Let your presence be real in my life all my days. Let your Spirit and voice lead me on the paths of transformational change, as I walk with you this season in Jesus wonderful name…. Amen🙏🏿.

Securing Divine Intervention By Faith

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Thursday October 31st, 2024.

Topic :Securing Divine Intervention By Faith.

Memory Verse : Luke 8:48. Jesus responded, “Beloved daughter, your faith in me has released your healing. You may go with my peace.”

Bible Reading : Luke 8:45-47 TPT. Key Verse : v46.

Jesus suddenly stopped and said to his disciples, “Someone touched me. Who is it?” While they all denied it, Peter pointed out, “Master, everyone is touching you, trying to get close to you. The crowds are so thick we can’t walk through all these people without being jostled.” Jesus replied, “Yes, but I felt power surge through me. Someone touched me to be healed, and they received their healing.” When the woman realized she couldn’t hide any longer, she came and fell trembling at Jesus’ feet. Before the entire crowd she declared, “I was desperate to touch you, Jesus, for I knew if I could just touch even the fringe of your robe I would be healed.”

Jesus Christ had just returned to Galilee after healing the mad man at Gerasenes who was possessed by legion of demons which kept him in a terrible condition. When he returned to Galilee, many people was waiting for him already. Now, there was a man who was a leader of the Jews in the Synagogue. His twelve year old only child and daughter was sick and dying. The man had to cross religious boundaries to seek the help of Jesus Christ in order to heal and save the precious life of his one and only child. As Jesus was on his way to the house of Jairus, a desperate woman of faith collected her healing without any special arrangements, because she had understanding based on her conviction about the person of Jesus, which she had before leaving her home to seek the help of Christ to restore herself to sound health after many years of suffering and wastage of resources. Luke 8:40-43.

The condition of this particular woman looked more hopeless and miserable as the days rolled by, as she had suffered bleeding for twelve good years. Her health condition made her frail and fragile physically, but in her mind, she didn’t want to die that way. When all forms of medical attention could not solve her problem, she resolved in her heart to run to Jesus for help. “Suddenly, a woman came from behind Jesus and touched the tassel of his prayer shawl for healing. She had been suffering from continual bleeding for twelve years, but had faith that Jesus could heal her. For she kept saying to herself, “If I could only touch his prayer shawl I would be healed .”” Matthew 9:20-21. Her healing was rooted in her resolve which itself was rooted in her strong conviction of whom Jesus is and the difference a contact with just part of his garment could make in her life and health situation. Her touch was not ordinary, but a touch in faith which also had an attached purpose.

“Don’t forget the example of your spiritual leaders who have spoken God’s messages to you, take a close look at how their lives ended, and then follow their walk of faith. Jesus, the Anointed One, is always the same—yesterday, today, and forever. So don’t let anyone lead you astray with all sorts of novel and exotic teachings. It is more beautiful to feast on grace and be inwardly strengthened than to be obsessed with dietary rules which in themselves have no lasting benefit.” Hebrews 13:7-9. What Jesus did yesterday when he was on earth physically, he is still doing today by the help of his Spirit who is at work everyehere, when we believe. You can trust him today to end every ugly situations that had lingered in your life. He doesn’t only want to save your soul, he also wants to make sure that you have a good life here on earth.

Prayer :Thank you Lord Jesus because with you all things are possible, when we believe. Today, am believing you for a miracle in…… (mention where you need his touch of his intervention). Thank you for honouring my faith with your intervention. I return all the glory to you in Jesus mighty name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Life In The Spirit And Faith

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Wednesday October 30th, 2024.

Topic : Life In The Spirit And Faith.

Memory Verse : 2 Corinthians 5:7. for we live by faith, not by what we see with our eyes.

Bible Reading : 2 Corinthians 5:4-6 TPT. Key Verse : v5.

So, while living in this “tent,” we groan under its burden, not because we want to die but because we want these new bodies. We crave for all that is mortal to be swallowed up by eternal life. And this is no empty hope, for God himself is the one who has prepared us for this wonderful destiny. And to confirm this promise, he has given us the Holy Spirit, like an engagement ring, as a guarantee. That’s why we’re always full of courage. Even while we’re at home in the body, we’re homesick to be with the Master—

Knowing Jesus and being with him gives a man capacity to experience life in full measure. The real life of a man is in his spirit. The body we carry around is just a housing of the two most important components of a man, the soul and spirit. When we finish our earthly assignment, we drop the housing and move on to another realm of existence beyond the ordinary eyes. Because life in this physical realm or world is temporal, the word of God does not lay too much emphasis on it. The physical body is referred to here by Apostle Paul as a tent or make shift housing. This housing is subject to all kinds wear and tear, weaknesses and limitations that we have to guard it carefully against damages or harmful exposure so that it can last. “because we don’t focus our attention on what is seen but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but the unseen realm is eternal.” 2 Corinthians 4:18.

Wise men or men that get the best of God are those whose priorities are arranged in a manner that they place much value on things that benefit their spirit man or things ordinary eyes can’t see because such things stand the test of time. Unlike hings that add value only to our body alone which are are good, but once we leave the body for eternity, it becomes useless as the body is committed to mother earth. However, things that benefit or build up our spiirt man are relevant in this present life and after. Such things themselves are regulated by the Spirit of God given to us as a mark or seal of ownership from his presence. “But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law, To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons. And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.” Galatians 4:4-6.

Now the currency by which spiritual things are traded is faith. Every man who obtained a good report with God walked in faith. Faith has to do with those commodities that the physical eyes cannot see because they are divine properties originating from the father of all spirits. Yet such unseen things are empowered by God to control those things that the eyes can see, which means that they are of superior value. “He was then almost 100 years old; but his faith did not weaken when he thought of his body, which was already practically dead, or of the fact that Sarah could not have children. His faith did not leave him, and he did not doubt God’s promise; his faith filled him with power, and he gave praise to God. He was absolutely sure that God would be able to do what he had promised. That is why Abraham, through faith, “was accepted as righteous by God”” Romans 4:19-22.

Prayer :Thank you Father God because you are a Spirit, yet you created me live for you. Help me to understand myself as a spirit being. Let my life align with you in faith for the good and great things you have in stock for here and after this life in Jesus wonderful name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Desire Transformation.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Tuesday October 29th, 2024.

Topic :Desire Transformation.
Memory Verse :Ephesians 5:26. He did this to dedicate the church to God by his word, after making it clean by washing it in water,

Bible Reading : Romans 12:1-2 GNB. Key Verse: v2.

So then, my brothers and sisters, because of God’s great mercy to us I appeal to you: offer yourselves as a living sacrifice to God, dedicated to his service and pleasing to him. This is the true worship that you should offer. Do not conform yourselves to the standards of this world, but let God transform you inwardly by a complete change of your mind. Then you will be able to know the will of God — what is good and is pleasing to him and is perfect.

The primary reason Jesus came to the earth is to change or transform the lives of men through redemption. When men meet Jesus in their lifetime, everything about them changes for good because he transforms lives by the operations of his Spirit. When people go to church and their lives (character or the way they do things) are not being changed, it is a serious indicator that such people never met Christ in the first place, their church membership or any other religious involvements notwithstanding. The way we do things outwardly is always a reflection of the condition of our mind. Even the things we say all originates, from the mind. The fall of man affected the mindset of the ordinary man negatively, as it got polluted. This pollution stiffed and snuffed the life of God out of men. That’s the reason the carnal minded person can’t walk with God. “Those who obey their human nature cannot please God. But you do not live as your human nature tells you to; instead, you live as the Spirit tells you to — if, in fact, God’s Spirit lives in you. Whoever does not have the Spirit of Christ does not belong to him.” Romans 8:8-9.

In God’s original plan when he created man, he designed us to function after his likeness as to reflect his image. “And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.” Genesis 1:26-27 KJV. This likeness and image spoken of here is not about physical appearance, but it’s all about a spiritual nature. This nature of God is only found in his Spirit. That is the reason he gave man his life at creation by breathing into him. That breath was what made man a living soul by giving life to every department of his being. Jesus further emphasised that he was the sole carrier and giver of that life as creator, John 14 :6.

Today we have to open our hearts to the Spirit of God who is the only personality that has what it takes to transform any man. We have serve God with a heart that desires more of his transformational grace daily. We have to note that any work or gospel that is not targeted at changing the lives of men from living for themselves and obeying the old nature of sin to living to please God our creator is fake, no matter how sweet it sounds or who delivers it. God’s desire is that we place our lives on his altar of service in whatever capacity we find ourselves in the kingdom. He has given us his Spirit freely to restore that which was tampered with at the fall. By the help of his Spirit, we now have what it takes to discern and follow his ways only, when we are willing. One important instrument the Spirit of God uses to renew our mind as to align with him is his word. “He did this to dedicate the church to God by his word, after making it clean by washing it in water, in order to present the church to himself in all its beauty — pure and faultless, without spot or wrinkle or any other imperfection.” Ephesians 5:26-27.

Prayer :Thank you Father God for it is your will that I be like you. Help me to live in your presence all my days. Let your Spirit and word transform me daily. Let my life be one that always pleases you in Jesus glorious name…… Amen 🙏🏿.

Following The Footsteps Of Men Of Old

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Monday October 28th, 2024.

Topic :Following The Footsteps Of Men Of Old.

Memory Verse : 2 Timothy 2:7. Think about what I am saying, because the Lord will enable you to understand it all.

Bible Reading :2 Timothy 2:4-6 GNB. Key Verse: v4.

A soldier on active service wants to please his commanding officer and so does not get mixed up in the affairs of civilian life. An athlete who runs in a race cannot win the prize unless he obeys the rules. The farmer who has done the hard work should have the first share of the harvest.

Apostle Paul in his usual manner was watching over Timothy his son in the faith of from prison. Whatever he told Timothy from prison, he is telling ourselves today. He wanted to make sure that Timothy including ourselves maximised or take best advantage of grace as was revealed to us by the appearance of Jesus who died for our redemption. He didn’t want us to be intimidated by challenges we encounter in the course of serving the Lord as to become afraid or feeble minded. At that point in time, the fact that Apostle Paul was being persecuted and imprisoned was enough reason to weaken the resolve of Timothy or some other people who may be afraid of suffering same fate just for being involved with Jesus and the gospel in the first place. “For this reason I remind you to keep alive the gift that God gave you when I laid my hands on you. For the Spirit that God has given us does not make us timid; instead, his Spirit fills us with power, love, and self-control. Do not be ashamed, then, of witnessing for our Lord; nor be ashamed of me, a prisoner for Christ’s sake. Instead, take your part in suffering for the Good News, as God gives you the strength to do it.” 2 Timothy 1:6-8.

In chapter 2, he began to give us understanding that if we must succeed on divine assignment, each and every one of us need to see ourselves as men recruited into the glorious army of the Lord in our lifetime. As soldiers, we don’t live ordinary lives and we can’t afford to be careless while on duty to avoid negative consequences. We are to follow the teachings and lifestyles of great men of old who were ahead of us and who obtained good testimonies that stand the test of time. “I want you to pattern your lives after me, just as I pattern mine after Christ. And I give you full credit for always keeping me in mind as you follow carefully the substance of my instructions that I’ve taught you.” 1 Corinthians 11:1-2 TPT.

Today we need to understand our lives as men maintaining the territories Jesus won unto himself and asked us occupy till he returns. As soldiers we must live battle ready anytime anyday. As athletes, we have to make sure that we are always in competition mode, so that we can give account of ourselves when duty calls. As farmers we have to labour in the field of divine assignment relentlessly and patiently too. From the time of planting to the time of harvest, the farmer labours in hope, makeing sure that his crops receives the best of attention for a bountiful harvest. In all these painted scenarios (soldier, athlete and farmer), one fact remains visible, which is sacrifices or self denial of certain pleasures of life as to deliver expected good results. That is what Apostle Paul is referring to when he kept emphasising about endurance of suffering or hardship, self denial or sacrifices of time and valuable resources within our reach in order to obtain a good report from our master and captain, just like our fathers like Apostle Paul himself.

Prayer :Thank you Father God for redemption that gave me access to your grace. Today help me to understand my life a soldier and colabourer with you. Help me to make every sacrifices that will help me obtain a good report at the end of my journey in Jesus mighty name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Progress In The Midst Of Challenges

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Sunday October 27th, 2024.

Topic : Progress In The Midst Of Challenges.

Memory Verse : 2 Thessalonians 1:4. That is why we ourselves boast about you in the churches of God. We boast about the way you continue to endure and believe through all the persecutions and sufferings you are experiencing.

Bible Reading : 2 Thessalonians 1:1-3 GNB. Key Verse : v3.

From Paul, Silas, and Timothy —To the people of the church in Thessalonica, who belong to God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ: May God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ give you grace and peace. Our brothers and sisters, we must thank God at all times for you. It is right for us to do so, because your faith is growing so much and the love each of you has for the others is becoming greater.

The strength of every man’s walk the Lord is tied his or her conviction about whom God is, God’s plan for his or her life and where he is taking him /her. Convictions are like the roots that keeps a tree standing, even in the midst of unfavourable circumstances. The deeper the root enters the ground, the firmer and safer the tree becomes. This conviction itself is a product of our experiences in him as we live for him and walk with him daily. “And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; And patience, experience; and experience, hope: And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us. For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.” Romans 5:3-6 KJV.

Same experience which comes through our dealings with the Almighty is responsible for how much we are able to love God. The strength of our love towards God itself is always revealed in our dealings with fellow brethren and how we handle kingdom related issues and assignments. Now, we have to note that every kingdom assignment given to each and every one of us is designed by the Spirit to supply the needs of others around us or within our reach, for the proper functioning of the body. “If the whole body were just an eye, how could it hear? And if it were only an ear, how could it smell? As it is, however, God put every different part in the body just as he wanted it to be. There would not be a body if it were all only one part! As it is, there are many parts but one body. So then, the eye cannot say to the hand, “I don’t need you!” Nor can the head say to the feet, “Well, I don’t need you!”” 1 Corinthians 12:17-21.

Our ability to stand and make progress in the midst of challenges can also be aided by our understanding that our efforts in the kingdom attracts eternal rewards. That is the reason Apostle Paul submitted that we don’t run or fight like men who doesn’t have any target. Rather we labour like men who have understanding of God’s reward system. For every sacrifices we make, there are rewards and for everyone who makes themselves instruments in the hands of the devil, the Lord reserves their own reward too. He rewards every man according to how we respond to matters of his interest. “All this I do for the gospel’s sake, in order to share in its blessings. Surely you know that many runners take part in a race, but only one of them wins the prize. Run, then, in such a way as to win the prize. Every athlete in training submits to strict discipline, in order to be crowned with a wreath that will not last; but we do it for one that will last for ever.” 1 Corinthians 9:23-25.

Prayer :Thank you Father God because it is your will that I keep making progress in my walk with you. Let my root of conviction sink deep into you. Thank you because I will keep making progress in you come what may till everlasting victory in Jesus wonderful name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Responsible Christianity.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Saturday October 26th, 2024.

Topic : Responsible Christianity.

Memory Verse :Galatians 4:3. In the same way, we too were slaves of the ruling spirits of the universe before we reached spiritual maturity.

Bible Reading : Galatians 4:5-7 GNB. Key Verse : v6.

to redeem those who were under the Law, so that we might become God’s sons and daughters. To show that you are his sons and daughters, God sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, the Spirit who cries out, “Father, my Father.” So then, you are no longer a slave but a son or daughter. And since that is what you are, God will give you all that he has for his heirs.

There is a need for us to grow into maturity as believers in Jesus Christ. Growth and maturity is always a resultant effect of our individual desire backed by corresponding efforts to birth same. Maturity brings us into understanding of God as our father, his plan for our lives as individuals and as a people, how to walk in his paths and plan, our rights and privileges in him including our boundaries as members of his divine family. When we don’t know all these, we are bound to live without being able to access those provisions he made available to us freely by covenant as his sons and daughters, as a result of ignorance or lack of knowledge. “But now to continue — the son who will receive his father’s property is treated just like a slave while he is young, even though he really owns everything. While he is young, there are men who take care of him and manage his affairs until the time set by his father. In the same way, we too were slaves of the ruling spirits of the universe before we reached spiritual maturity.” Galatians 4:1-3.

The business of redemption is a finished one as perfected on the cross. This redemption came with rights and privileges that are to set us apart from ordinary men as we live our lives on earth. These rights and privileges are spiritual blessings available only in Christ Jesus. They are meant to give our lives a meaning, make us impactful as generational game changers. “Let us give thanks to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! For in our union with Christ he has blessed us by giving us every spiritual blessing in the heavenly world. Even before the world was made, God had already chosen us to be his through our union with Christ, so that we would be holy and without fault before him.Because of his love. God had already decided that through Jesus Christ he would make us his sons and daughters — this was his pleasure and purpose.” Ephesians 1:3-5.

It will important to mention that growth is a process that comes out of continuous exertion of efforts. It is never instantaneous and therefore demands some level of patience. Growth and maturity gives us depth and strength which helps us to be effective and productive in the kingdom. On a final note, there’s need for us to recognise the place of the Holy Spirit in the new life we have in Christ Jesus. The Holy Spirit is the life and power of God at work in a man. That is the reason he is seal or mark of ownership. We are to pay attention to the Holy Spirit therefore because he make divine ability and capacity available to the carrier. The ability and capicity of God as packaged in his Spirit becomes evident in our lives only when we consciously involve in spiritual exercises that causes growth and maturity. “Until I come, give your time and effort to the public reading of the Scriptures and to preaching and teaching. Do not neglect the spiritual gift that is in you, which was given to you when the prophets spoke and the elders laid their hands on you. Practise these things and devote yourself to them, in order that your progress may be seen by all.” 1 Timothy 4:13-15.

Prayer :Thank you Lord Jesus for dying on the cross to redeem me from the paths of sin and destruction. Thank you for making me a member of God’s family. Work Out Your Salvation…

[10/25, 6:33 AM] Apostle Aloma Onyeri: ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Friday October 25th, 2024.

Topic : Work Out Your Salvation…

Memory Verse : Acts 5:11. The entire church was seized with a powerful sense of the fear of God, which came over all who heard what had happened.

Bible Reading : Acts 5:8-10 TPT. Key Verse : v9.

Peter said to her, “Tell me, were the two of you paid this amount for the sale of your land?” Sapphira said, “Yes, that’s how much it was.” Peter told her, “Why have you agreed together to test the Spirit of the Lord? I hear the footsteps of those who buried your husband at the door—they’re coming here to bury you too!” At that moment she dropped dead at Peter’s feet. When the young men came in, she was already dead, so they carried her out and buried her next to her husband.

At this point in time, Jesus had risen from the dead and gone back to heaven after spending some time with the disciples to prepare them for the work that laid ahead of them. The Holy Spirit had been given and the early church was in formation stage. Now people were selling their properties and bringing the entire proceeds to the work of God after Pentecost. “Some who owned houses or land sold them and brought the proceeds before the apostles to distribute to those without. Not a single person among them was needy. For example, there was a Levite from Cyprus named Joseph, who sold his farmland and placed the proceeds at the feet of the apostles. They nicknamed him Barnabas (or “Encourager”).” Acts 4:34-37. The Spirit of God was at work in a strong measure in their midst.

A couple known as Ananias and Sapphira sold their property and donated the proceeds to the work of God in a manner that was unacceptable to the Spirit of God who was at work mightily in their midst. In the first place they lied to the man of God that they were surrendering the entire proceeds of the sales of their property to support the kingdom assignment. This they did in showmanship or out of pride to create a none existent record as having surrendered everything in order to command the respect and honour of men to the provocation of the wrath of God against them. As simple as that lie may look, it led to their untimely death as they were not privileged to be given a second chance. “They conspired to secretly keep back for themselves a portion of the proceeds. So when Ananias brought the money to the apostles, it was only a portion of the entire sale. God revealed their secret to Peter, so he said to him, “Ananias, why did you let Satan fill your heart and make you think you could lie to the Holy Spirit? You only pretended to give it all, yet you hid back part of the proceeds from the sale of your property to keep for yourselves.” Acts 5:2-3.

Today we have to learn from the experience of Ananias and Sapphira as, to work out our salvation before the Lord with fear and trembling. The book of Proverbs rightly said that the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and that it is a virtue that will multiply our days and increase our years here on earth, Proverbs 9:10-11. “My beloved ones, just like you’ve always listened to everything I’ve taught you in the past, I’m asking you now to keep following my instructions as though I were right there with you. Now you must continue to make this new life fully manifested as you live in the holy awe of God—which brings you trembling into his presence. God will continually revitalize you, implanting within you the passion to do what pleases him.” Philippians 2:12-13. This reverence for God Apostle Paul is teaching here is such that will make us to always seek and to do those things that will please our father and God weather someone is watching us or not, because himself who is not just a Spirit, but the father of all spirits sees all things. Our God doesn’t take anything on surface value, rather, he goes deep to weigh the intentions behind our actions.

Prayer :Thank you Father God because you see and know all things. Thank you because you search the hearts of men to weigh their intentions. Help me to live to reveverence you all my days from the depths of my heart. Let my entire life honour you in Jesus precious name….. Amen 🙏🏿.

Help me to expose myself to things that will help me grow into maturity. Thank you for helping me become responsible and fruitful in you in Jesus precious name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Jesus Makes Men

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Thursday October 24th, 2024.

Topic : Jesus Makes Men.

Memory Verse :Matthew 4:19. Jesus called out to them and said, “Come and follow me, and I will transform you into men who catch people for God.”

Bible Reading :Matthew 4:17-18,20 TPT. Key Verse : v19.

From that time on Jesus began to proclaim his message with these words: “Keep turning away from your sins and come back to God, for heaven’s kingdom realm is now accessible.” As he was walking by the shore of Lake Galilee, Jesus noticed two fishermen who were brothers. One was nicknamed Keefa (later called Peter), and the other was Andrew, his brother. Watching as they were casting their nets into the water, Immediately they dropped their nets and left everything behind to follow Jesus.

Jesus came to the earth to call men unto himself. He calls men to himself so that he can make them game and world changers. At this point of his encounter with Peter and resultant call, Peter had spent all his life transversing the seas as a professional making a living through fishing business. Jesus came into his life to upgrade him from catching ordinary fishes which were or less value to catching men whose souls were very precious before the Lord who created us. They were to spend time with the master, so that he could teach and transform their lives to become men that God could depend on to carry out his agenda on earth, after the master was able to help them understand his heartbeat and to flow in it. “Jesus said to him, “This shows that today life has come to you and your household, for you are a true son of Abraham. The Son of Man has come to seek out and to give life to those who are lost.”” Luke 19:9-10.

Another reason Jesus came to the earth is to deal with the root of the problem of man here on earth which is sin. Before sin came everything worked for man according to divine design. When sin crept in, man was disqualified from functioning in God’s original plan. Jesus had to come to our rescue to deliver man from the cancer of sin and it’s attendant consequences. When Joseph was contemplating ending it with Mary for getting pregnant outside their relationship, the Lord had to send an angel to explain what God was doing in the life of Mary, so that he could align with the Almighty. “While he was still debating with himself about what to do, he fell asleep and had a supernatural dream. An angel from the Lord appeared to him in clear light and said, “Joseph, descendant of David, don’t hesitate to take Mary into your home as your wife, because the power of the Holy Spirit has conceived a child in her womb. She will give birth to a son and you are to name him ‘Savior,’ for he is destined to give his life to save his people from their sins.” This happened so that what the Lord spoke through his prophet would come true: Listen! A virgin will be pregnant, she will give birth to a Son, and he will be known as “Emmanuel,” which means in Hebrew, “God became one of us.”” Matthew 1:20-23.

Today Jesus is calling us to be part of his family and kingdom here on earth. He has paid the price for sin with his blood. When we believe in him and the finished work of the cross, we stand redeemed from sin and it’s bondage. Not only that, we are also empowered by the Holy Spirit to live to continue the work Jesus began before returning to the father in heaven. When we embrace his plan for our lives, he transforms our lives beyond our imagination. That singular decision of Peter changed the direction of his life from obscurity to limelight. By the time he stood to defend the gospel they received at Pentecost, the result was there for all to see as about 3,000 souls was saved at a sweep. At the beautiful gate, the man born was shocked at what happened to him. He was looking for ordinary money and got healed of his deformation for life. “Continually more and more people believed in the Lord and were added to their number—great crowds of both men and women. In fact, when people knew Peter was going to walk by, they carried the sick out to the streets and laid them down on cots and mats, knowing the incredible power emanating from him would overshadow them and heal them.” Acts 5:14-15.

Prayer :Thank Lord Jesus because you died to pay for my sins so that I can can function in God’s family and kingdom. Thank you because when me follow you, you make them. Thank because you will make me as I live my life to serve you all my days in Jesus precious name….. Amen 🙏🏿.
