Faith For Divine Intervention

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Topic :Faith For Divine Intervention.

Memory Verse :Matthew 9:21. She said to herself, “If I only touch his cloak, I will get well.”

Bible Reading :Matthew 9:18-20 GNB. Key Verse: v20.

While Jesus was saying this, a Jewish official came to him, knelt down before him, and said, “My daughter has just died; but come and place your hands on her, and she will live.” So Jesus got up and followed him, and his disciples went along with him. A woman who had suffered from severe bleeding for twelve years came up behind Jesus and touched the edge of his cloak.

Jesus here was confronted by some disciples of John the Baptist. They wanted to find out why the followers of Jesus Christ were not fasting like themselves and the Pharisees. Jesus began to use wisdom to explain to them that what the Jews had was fading away, while what he came with which is the real thing doesn’t need to mix up anything else because it won’t work because they are not compatible. “Jesus answered, “Do you expect the guests at a wedding party to be sad as long as the bridegroom is with them? Of course not! But the day will come when the bridegroom will be taken away from them, and then they will fast. “No one patches up an old coat with a piece of new cloth, for the new patch will shrink and make an even bigger hole in the coat. Nor does anyone pour new wine into used wineskins, for the skins will burst, the wine will pour out, and the skins will be ruined. Instead, new wine is poured into fresh wineskins, and both will keep in good condition.”” Matthew 9:15-27.

Jesus Christ was still explaining things to the people when Jairus who was a Jewish synagogue leader came to him asking for him to come over to his house and heal or raise his dying daughter. Jesus Christ had to follow the man for that was an emergency. On their way a woman who had faith to be healed of her infirmity followed after till she was able to touch the hem of his garment. The Bible recorded that this very woman before meeting Jesus Christ had bleeded for 12 good years. She had spent all her money with physicians trying to get help, which never worked. She made up her mind that very day, that once she is able to have a contact with the hem of his garment, she would have a miracle. “She came up in the crowd behind Jesus and touched the edge of his cloak, and her bleeding stopped at once. Jesus asked, “Who touched me?”Everyone denied it, and Peter said, “Master, the people are all round you and crowding in on you.” But Jesus said, “Someone touched me, for I knew it when power went out of me.”” Luke 8:44-46.

Because she had faith to be healed, her touch on Jesus released the power of God that heals into her life or in her favour. Jesus felt what took place and stopped to ask questions. She was afraid, but had to confess because already her healing has taken place already. “The woman saw that she had been found out, so she came trembling and threw herself at Jesus’ feet. There in front of everybody, she told him why she had touched him and how she had been healed at once. Jesus said to her, “My daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace.”” Luke 8:47-48. Like the woman with the issue of blood, anything you can believe Jesus for in your life this day is possible. The only person that can stop you from receiving divine intervention from Jesus Christ now is yourself, when you have unbelief. The mercy of God is available this day to set men free from every infirmity and afflictions, so that they can serve him with joy the rest of their life. The first miracle he wants to give you today is salvation of your soul. Mark :16:15-18.

Prayer :Lord Jesus I thank you for dying to save me. I believe you died for my sins and arose for my justification. Come into my heart and rule my life forever. By your mighty mercies, let every afflictions and infirmities in my life be washed away by your blood in Jesus mighty name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Walking In God’s Plan For Your Life

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Wednesday December 11th, 2024.

Topic :Walking In God’s Plan For Your Life.

Memory Verse :John 6:29. Jesus answered, “What God wants you to do is to believe in the one he sent.”

Bible Reading :John 6:26-28 GNB. Key Verse : v27.

Jesus answered, “I am telling you the truth: you are looking for me because you ate the bread and had all you wanted, not because you understood my miracles. Do not work for food that goes bad; instead, work for the food that lasts for eternal life. This is the food which the Son of Man will give you, because God, the Father, has put his mark of approval on him.” So they asked him, “What can we do in order to do what God wants us to do?”

After Jesus fed about five thousand men excluding women and children, his followership increased the more. At this point, they felt that he is just the type of Prophet and King they needed in their midst, who will always make food available to them miraculously. They began to perfect plans among them to crown him their earthly king, not really knowing whom he was. “Seeing this miracle that Jesus had performed, the people there said, “Surely this is the Prophet who was to come into the world!Jesus knew that they were about to come and seize him in order to make him king by force; so he went off again to the hills by himself. When evening came, Jesus’ disciples went down to the lake, got into a boat, and went back across the lake towards Capernaum. Night came on, and Jesus still had not come to them.” John 6:14-17.

The people had to search out his new location as he went to the other side of the of the lake. Jesus being God knew their underlying motives for searching him out. They had a wrong mindset in their followership. They were only after meeting their physical needs while they cared less about their spiritual needs which counts most before the Lord. The miracles Jesus does in the lives of men is to help draw them to his side, where they could serve his purpose. These men were looking for food that doesn’t stand the test of time, but himself needed to give them that which could stand the test of time. The Jews was savouring the story of the manna their fathers ate in the wilderness and was thinking his was about to be repeated daily.

“For we fix our attention, not on things that are seen, but on things that are unseen. What can be seen lasts only for a time, but what cannot be seen lasts for ever.” 2 Corinthians 4:18. There’s need for us to submit ourselves to the Lord for discipleship instead of chasing shadows. Today we need to learn to look beyond our physical needs or material things that doesn’t stand the test of time for things of the Spirit. Jesus mission in our lives is not just to solve our immediate problems only. Most importantly, he desires to build us up a spiritual house or spiritual houses that has what it takes to relate with him till he births himself in us. At this point, we begin to command miracles instead of running after miracles. “Believe me when I say that I am in the Father and the Father is in me. If not, believe because of the things I do. I am telling you the truth: those who believe in me will do what I do — yes, they will do even greater things, because I am going to the Father.” John 14:11-12.

Prayer : Thank you Lord Jesus for saving my soul and teaching me to be like you. Help me to live by your word in everything I do. Let my life be such that command unending miracles just like you in Jesus wonderful name….. Amen 🙏🏿.

Gains Of Being Rich Towards God.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Tuesday December 10th, 2024.

Topic :Gains Of Being Rich Towards God.

Memory Verse : Luke 12:34. For your heart will always be where your riches are.

Bible Reading : Luke 12:31-33 GNB. Key Verse: v 32.

Instead, be concerned with his Kingdom, and he will provide you with these things. “Do not be afraid, little flock, for your Father is pleased to give you the Kingdom. Sell all your belongings and give the money to the poor. Provide for yourselves purses that don’t wear out, and save your riches in heaven, where they will never decrease, because no thief can get to them, and no moth can destroy them.

Jesus was teaching multitudes who gathered to hear him about on the need to live a contented life because the life of men does not depend on the material things they have as possessions. This happened because a young man tried to get him involved in their family dispute. He wanted Jesus Christ to use his influence to compel his brother to share family properties with him. Now Jesus began to make him understand that his assignment doesn’t include setting family inheritance issues. Jesus tried to use the parable of the rich fool to drive home his point that it’s dangerous to be rich materially without knowing God, having a relationship with him and living to do his pleasure. Jesus was trying to let this particular man understand that it is not difficult for God bless a man by prospering the works of his hands. But when God have blessed men, the problem of God is with their mindset or how they use these blessings which is meant to be used to affect lives positively and to build God’s kingdom on earth.

Jesus taught them that God cares about our needs more what we think or know. He used the lilies or grass of the field to drive home his point. God takes adequate care of grass of the field which can always be cut off or destroyed by men, not minding that they are not sure of the next moment. He even takes care, of birds of the air who doesn’t have any single inheritance unto themselves. He was trying to let us know that if God can take care of those lesser creatures, he will always take care of man who is the king over all he created. “It is God who clothes the wild grass — grass that is here today and gone tomorrow, burnt up in the oven. Won’t he be all the more sure to clothe you? How little faith you have! “So don’t be all upset, always concerned about what you will eat and drink. (For the pagans of this world are always concerned about all these things.) Your Father knows that you need these things.” Luke 12:28-30.

Finally Jesus made us understand that our priority in life should center around God, his purpose and kingdom. We are to live kingdom centered lives. We have to sow our lives as seed into the soil of the kingdom. When we do that, we will begin to command much divine attention. God will take responsibility for our well being and daily provisions. We don’t have to limit ourselves to having material things only, even when we are empty of the knowledge and wisdom of God that preserves men. When men prosper in this world without being close to the Lord who preserves men and what they have, they live at the mercy of enemies. That’s the reason many men who are not rich towards God are cut short by wicked forces, as a result of the fact that they have no spiritual defense or protection from him that is above all. “To be wise you must first have reverence for the Lord. If you know the Holy One, you have understanding. Wisdom will add years to your life.” Proverbs 9:10-11.

Prayer :Thank you Father God because you don’t just want to leave me without provisions defenseless here on earth. Help me to draw closer to you daily. Thank you because your knowledge and fear will preserve men and all I have, as I use them to serve your kingdom purposes on earth in Jesus wonderful name… Amen 🙏🏿.

Handling Difficult Situations.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Monday December 9th, 2024.

Topic :Handling Difficult Situations.

Memory Verse:2 Chronicles 20:3. Jehoshaphat was frightened and prayed to the Lord for guidance. Then he gave orders for a fast to be observed throughout the country.

Bible Reading : 2 Chronicles 20:4-6 GNB. Key Verse: v6.

From every city of Judah people hurried to Jerusalem to ask the Lord for guidance, and they and the people of Jerusalem gathered in the new courtyard of the Temple. King Jehoshaphat went and stood before them and prayed aloud, “O Lord God of our ancestors, you rule in heaven over all the nations of the world. You are powerful and mighty, and no one can oppose you.

This time around, Judah was invaded by Moab, Amon and their allied nations. The enemies came in an intimidating number that scared King Jehosaphat and the entire people of Judah. They knew that by every standard, they didn’t have what it takes on their own to stand their enemies. They also knew that there’s a God who has what it takes to subdue every opposition and prevail in every battles of life. King Jehosaphat in his wisdom called for a national fast. He reminded the Lord of the covenant of divine protection he had with their fathers which should be speaking over them as descendants. “and prayed aloud, “O Lord God of our ancestors, you rule in heaven over all the nations of the world. You are powerful and mighty, and no one can oppose you. They have lived here and have built a temple to honour you, knowing that if any disaster struck them to punish them — a war, an epidemic, or a famine — then they could come and stand in front of this Temple where you are worshipped. They could pray to you in their trouble, and you would hear them and rescue them. “Now the people of Ammon, Moab, and Edom have attacked us. When our ancestors came out of Egypt, you did not allow them to enter those lands, so our ancestors went round them and did not destroy them.” 2 Chronicles 20:6, 8-9.

The people of Judah turned their battle to the Lord and asked him to take over by fighting for his people. When the Lord saw their humility, brokeness, and dependence on him, he came down and began to direct them on how to approach the battle. “All the men of Judah, with their wives and children, were standing there at the Temple. The Spirit of the Lord came upon a Levite who was present in the crowd. His name was Jahaziel son of Zechariah; he was a member of the clan of Asaph and was descended from Asaph through Mattaniah, Jeiel, and Benaiah. Jahaziel said, “Your Majesty and all you people of Judah and Jerusalem, the Lord says that you must not be discouraged or be afraid to face this large army. The battle depends on God, not on you. Attack them tomorrow as they come up the pass at Ziz. You will meet them at the end of the valley that leads to the wild country near Jeruel.” 2 Chronicles 20:13-16.

Today we must learn to run to the the Lord for help anytime we encounter situations that we can’t handle by ourselves. We must learn to seek his face when we are sorrounded by overwhelming or daunting challenges. Anytime we seek the help of the Lord in times of trouble, we will always find help. By the time the Lord showed up for king Jehosaphat and the people of Judah, he gave them simple instructions that looked foolish to the senses of men, but which turned in uncommon testimony when finally obeyed. One instruction from the Spirit of God can turn any situation around. We have to learn to depend on him this week and forever to navigate every difficult terrain in our lives. When divine direction finally came to King Jehosaphat and the people of Judah, the tension in their camp was doused and faith and confidence was restored. “Then King Jehoshaphat bowed low, with his face touching the ground, and all the people bowed with him and worshipped the Lord. The members of the Levite clans of Kohath and Korah stood up and with a loud shout praised the Lord, the God of Israel.” 2 Chronicles 20:18-29.

Prayer :Thank you Father God because you are a covenant keeper. This day I turn every battles am facing in…… (mention them) over to you as my father the captain of my warfare. By your Spirit, guide me in the paths of everlasting victory in Jesus mighty name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

The Power Of Thanksgiving And Praise

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Sunday December 8th, 2024.

Topic : The Power Of Thanksgiving And Praise.

Memory Verse: John 6:12. When everyone was satisfied, Jesus told his disciples, “Now go back and gather up the pieces left over so that nothing will be wasted.”

Bible Reading :John 6:10-11 TPT. Key Verse : v11.

“Have everyone sit down,” Jesus said to his disciples. So on the vast grassy slope, more than five thousand hungry people sat down. Jesus then took the barley loaves and the fish and gave thanks to God. He then gave it to the disciples to distribute to the people. Miraculously, the food multiplied, with everyone eating as much as they wanted!

This time Jesus was ministering in the mountainous area of Tiberias. When it was getting late in the day, Jesus Christ had compassion on the people because they were exhausted and hungry. He began to confer with his disciples on how the people could be fed physically after he had finished ministering to their spiritual needs. “As Jesus sat down, he looked out and saw the massive crowd of people scrambling up the hill, for they wanted to be near him. So he turned to Philip and said, “Where will we buy enough food to feed all these people?” Now Jesus already knew what he was about to do, but he said this to stretch Philip’s faith. Philip answered, “Well, I suppose if we were to give everyone only a snack, it would cost thousands of dollars to buy enough food!”” John 6:5-7.

The crowd was about 5, 000 men excluding women and children, so feeding them needed good money. Again they were not close to town, where they could buy any food. Finally it was discovered that a lad among the people had 5 loaves of barley bread and two fishes. When Jesus heard that, he asked them to make everyone to sit down. When they had done that, Jesus then took that which was available and lifted them upto heavens and gave thank to the father. After he gave thanks to the father, he handed them over to the disciples to share to the people who were already seated expectantly. Thanksgiving was all Christ needed to multiply that which was available. “When everyone was satisfied, Jesus told his disciples, “Now go back and gather up the pieces left over so that nothing will be wasted.” The disciples filled up twelve baskets of fragments, a basket of leftovers for each disciple. All the people were astounded as they saw with their own eyes the incredible miracle Jesus had performed! They began to say among themselves, “He really is the One—the true prophet we’ve been expecting!”” John 6:12-14.

As many as are believing God for divine supply, multiplication and intervention in any area of their lives this season, should engage the instrumentality of thanksgiving and praise. When we thank God for his goodness and mercies in our lives, we open doors of divine visitation that eliminates struggles. When we raise our voices to praise his holy and mighty name, we activate the code of divine intervention wherever we need it. “When they began to sing, the Lord threw the invading armies into a panic. The Ammonites and the Moabites attacked the Edomite army and completely destroyed it, and then they turned on each other in savage fighting. When the Judean army reached a tower that was in the desert, they looked towards the enemy and saw that they were all lying on the ground, dead. Not one had escaped.” 2 Chronicles 20:22-24 GNB..

Prayer :Thank you Father God for your goodness and mercies towards my life, family, ministry, business and the works of my hands. As I lift up my voice to appreciate and praise you, manifest your intervention in….. (mention the areas). Thank you for the blessing of your presence in Jesus mighty name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

God Wants To Depend On Us.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS

Saturday December 7th, 2024.

Topic : God Wants To Depend On Us.

Memory Verse: Acts 8:28. The Holy Spirit said to Philip, “Go over to that carriage and stay close to it.”

Bible Reading :Acts 8:32-34 GNB. Key Verse : v34

He was humiliated, and justice was denied him. No one will be able to tell about his descendants,     because his life on earth has come to an end.” The official asked Philip, “Tell me, of whom is the prophet saying this? Of himself or of someone else?” Then Philip began to speak; starting from this passage of scripture, he told him the Good News about Jesus.

The Spirit began a mighty work in the life of Philip the Evangelist in the city of Samaria immediately after the death of Stephen. As Saul intensified efforts in his resolve to annihilate the early Church, thinking he was helping the course of God, not knowing that he was really working against God. The heat of persecution made the disciples to leave Jerusalem to other cities where they continued to share the kingdom good news with as many as cared to listen, with the Lord confirming their witnesses with mighty works. “But Saul tried to destroy the church; going from house to house, he dragged out the believers, both men and women, and threw them into jail. The believers who were scattered went everywhere, preaching the message. Philip went to the principal city in Samaria and preached the Messiah to the people there. The crowds paid close attention to what Philip said, as they listened to him and saw the miracles that he performed.” Acts 8:3-6.

In Samaria, they encountered a magician who was holding the city hostage with occult power and magic. This magician was highly regarded because of the intensity of negative spirituality operating in hm, as he bewitched the city and the seat of power with his magical arts. Because Simon the magician saw the superior power of God at work in Philip, he received Christ and was baptised with the intention to be filled with the Holy Spirit like others, so that he could use the Spirit of God to enrich himself and command more respect. “Simon saw that the Spirit had been given to the believers when the apostles placed their hands on them. So he offered money to Peter and John, and said, “Give this power to me too, so that anyone I place my hands on will receive the Holy Spirit.” But Peter answered him, “May you and your money go to hell, for thinking that you can buy God’s gift with money!” Acts 8:18-20.

Finally the Spirit positioned Philip to minister to and convert the Ethiopian Eunuch, who was returning from a religious pilgrimage and reading the book of Isaiah that testified of the sufferings of Christ and attendant salvation of men as a result without understanding. After Philip took time to explain the scriptures to him, he received Christ and demanded to be baptised. There are many lessons to take away from what happened in this chapter. The first is that we must come to Jesus with the right motives if we must succeed in him. Simon the magician couldn’t fit into the heavenly system because his interventions from the onset was wrong. Another lesson here is that we need to give ourselves wholly to the Holy Spirit for our witnessing or evangelism efforts to produce the right results. The impact of Philip and other disciples in Samaria including the conversion of the Ethiopian Eunuch was as products of a close walk with the Spirit in the assignment.

Prayer :Thank you Lord Jesus because you can never fail. Help me to always serve you with a right mindset, so that I won’t loose my reward at the end. Help me to walk with your Spirit so that you can use me to reach the unreached in my own time in Jesus wonderful name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Be Persistent In Prayer.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Friday December 6th, 2024.

Topic :Be Persistent In Prayer.

Memory Verse :Luke 18:8. I tell you, he will judge in their favour and do it quickly. But will the Son of Man find faith on earth when he comes?”

Bible Reading :Luke 18:5-8 GNB. Key Verse: v8.

yet because of all the trouble this widow is giving me, I will see to it that she gets her rights. If I don’t, she will keep on coming and finally wear me out!’ ”And the Lord continued, “Listen to what that corrupt judge said. Now, will God not judge in favour of his own people who cry to him day and night for help? Will he be slow to help them?

Because Jesus Christ is the son of God, he taught us about God and how to get the best of him while we live our lives on earth. He taught us the importance of being consistent in our communication, relationship and fellowship with God the father. Now in relating with God, we need to understand that he is sovereign. This implies that he does whatever pleases him in any given situation and no man can hold him accountable because he is the king and ruler of the universe. Infact everything created, visible and invisible serves his purpose. This means that no power has capacity to question him, rather they all are accountable to him. Another dimension of God we need to understand that will help our prayer life is that God is the Judge of the universe. This means that whatever he decides in any given situation must stand.

Jesus in his parable in Luke 18 from v1 was using a corrupt earthly judge to drive home his teaching on the power of being persistence in the place of prayer. Judges wield enormous power in the justice system, whatever they decide in any matter stands, till a superior judge in authority sets such ruling aside. Even at that they don’t suffer any consequences for their pronouncements on cases that comes to their table because they are shielded by duty. Therefore they feel like mini gods. In their pride and arrogance, they still have some humanity in them as demonstrated by the judge here that had no regard for any man or even God because of the authority he welded. Jesus told us about a poor helpless widow who needed the help of this earthly judge to restore her rights that was being trampled upon by men who had capacity and means. The judge cared less about her plight. Yet, because she refused give him breathing space in her coming to seek his help, reluctantly he had to answer her knowing that she won’t back down, because of her conviction that the judge was her only hope of getting justice. Luke 18:1-8.

“The end of all things is near. You must be self-controlled and alert, to be able to pray. 1 Peter 4:7. As the year winds up gradually, we don’t have to be careless because the enemy of our souls who is described to operate as a roaring lion, going about, looking for those who are not on guard, in order to devour from their camp. This season we are into therefore should one of sober reflection and stock taking. We can’t afford to be carried away by things happening around us. We have to be intentional and persistent in enforcing our divine rights or God’s will for our lives, our loved ones and men around us. Jesus asked a very pertinent question here in v8, if he will find faith when he comes to check on us. This is because, men who are consistent in prayer till they obtain desired results are men of faith. Such men are like Elijah, they are sure that God will perform, circumstances notwithstanding. Elijah kept sending his servant to check for sign of rain in the sky as he bent in prayer till he had a confirmation for what he was asking for. 1 Kings 18:41-44.

Prayer : Thank you Father God because you are the judge of the universe. Every other judges submits to your divine authority. Help me to be consistent in my relationship with you, especially my prayer life. I will stand with you in faith till my heart desires are granted in Jesus mighty name….. Amen 🙏🏿.

Faith That Provokes Divine Intervention

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Thursday December 5th, 2024.

Topic :Faith That Provokes Divine Intervention.

Memory Verse : Luke 18:42 Jesus said, “Now you will see. Receive your sight this moment. For your faith in me has given you sight and new life.”

Bible Reading :Luke 18:36-38 TPT. Key Verse : v38.

When he heard the crowd approaching, he asked, “What’s all this commotion about?” “It’s Jesus!” they said. “Jesus the Nazarene is passing by.” The blind beggar shouted, “Jesus, Son of David, have pity and show me mercy!”

Here, we see Jesus Christ and his disciples entering the city of Jericho and a great crowd of people followed the most popular man that ever lived on earth. Though this man was blind physically, he was alive or sensitive to things happening around him. When the blind man heard the noise and commotion of the crowd, he sensed that something unusual was happening and began to find out what it was all about. By the time he finally understood that Jesus Christ the healer and miracle worker was passing his way, he knew it was a lifetime opportunity he couldn’t toy with. He began to shout for help as to get the attention of the master. Mark’s account revealed that this man’s name was Bartimaeus meaning the son of Timaeus. At the point he began to shout for help, his fellow men who placed no value on him as a roadside begger tried to shut him up, but he defied their rebuke because he knew that Jesus doesn’t pass by everyday. “The blind beggar shouted, “Jesus, Son of David, have pity and show me mercy!” Those who were in the front of the crowd scolded him and warned him to be quiet. But the blind beggar screamed out even louder, “Jesus, Son of David, show me mercy!”” Luke 18:38-39.

“Suddenly Jesus stopped. He told those nearby, “Bring the man over to me.” When they brought him before Jesus, he asked the man, “What is it you want me to do for you?” “Lord,” he said, “please, I want to see again.” Jesus said, “Now you will see. Receive your sight this moment. For your faith in me has given you sight and new life.”” Luke 18:40-42. Men looked down on this begger and would have hindered him from receiving his healing that very day. His defiance finally paid off when the attempt to stop him and his own insistence and persistence drew the attention of Jesus who demanded for him to be brought close. Finally he was speaking face to face with the one who can do all things and who knew his real value as a man whom he formed in the womb of his mother before he was brought into the world. Bartimaeus seized this lifetime opportunity to demand for his healing from the master. Because he was more than ready for the miracle, he grabbed it with both hands, knowing that his future depended on it.

Two things I want us to learn from this very Bartimseus or son of Timaeus whom the master healed of his blindness here, is that he had faith to be healed . This faith he demonstrated by his action, as he raised his voice to the top shouting for help. The environment was already noisy because of the following crowd, so he needed an extra effort to be heard, which he didn’t compromise. James 2:18-26 said that our works or actions gives our faith a voice in the realm of the spirit. When you really believe God for an intervention, you don’t give up, but keep pressing till he answers you. The book of Hebrews 10:38 said that when men draw back or give up, heaven also gives up on reaching such people. Another lesson I want us to pick from this man was that this very man that was healed didn’t run away to some people, even family members immediately he began to see. It is on record that he followed Jesus. Understand today that Jesus doesn’t just want to stop at giving you a miracle. Like Peter after the drought and like this healed man here, he wants you to follow him so that he can make you also make you at blessing. “Instantly he could see again. His eyes popped opened, and he saw Jesus. He shouted loud praises to God and he followed Jesus . And when the crowd saw what happened, they too erupted with shouts of praise to God.” Luke 18:43.

Prayer : Thank you Lord Jesus because you can do all things. This day, am trusting you for

It Can’t Be Late With Jesus

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Wednesday December 4th, 2024

Topic : It Can’t Be Late With Jesus.

Memory Verse:Isaiah 40:31. But those who trust in the Lord for help will find their strength renewed. They will rise on wings like eagles; they will run and not get weary; they will walk and not grow weak.

Bible Reading :Isaiah 40:28-30 GNB. Key Verse: v28.

Don’t you know? Haven’t you heard? The Lord is the everlasting God; he created all the world. He never grows tired or weary. No one understands his thoughts. He strengthens those who are weak and tired. Even those who are young grow weak; young people can fall exhausted.

Living your life for Jesus and doing business with him is very rewarding in life. His reward comes after we patiently walk with him in the paths of righteousness. That’s the reason he asked us Mathew 6:33 to prioritise seeking his kingdom and his righteousness, then every other thing we needed in life will be delivered to us without struggles. Many people give up or run away from God’s presence to seek alternatives when God is still arranging things in their favour. It’s good to remind us here again that faith in God do come under test sometimes. Men still behave like the people of Israel who felt that Moses was taking too much time in God’s presence. They were not satisfied with God and his servant Moses, they therfore to made for themselves something that they could see to satisfy their impatience and curiosity. “Aaron said to them, “Take off the gold earrings which your wives, your sons, and your daughters are wearing, and bring them to me.” So all the people took off their gold earrings and brought them to Aaron. He took the earrings, melted them, poured the gold into a mould, and made a gold bull calf. The people said, “Israel, this is our god, who led us out of Egypt!”” Exodus 32:2-4.

Like Peter some people seemed to have transversed the rivers of life all year long with little or nothing to show for the type of efforts and resources they invested. Some are washing their nets already as long the year is concerned. To such people, the Spirit is saying that it is not over yet. The remaining days and weeks will deliver your good expectations, so that you can glorify God. What you need for a change is a word from the Lord. The foundation of your turnaround is to make sure that he is in your boat and that you always allow him to have his way with you and in your life. It was after he had his way with that which belonged to Peter that he was able to put laughter in his mouth. A day that was ending as one of his worst in business, suddenly became his best. “When he finished speaking, he said to Simon, “Push the boat out further to the deep water, and you and your partners let down your nets for a catch.”“Master,” Simon answered, “we worked hard all night long and caught nothing. But if you say so, I will let down the nets.” They let them down and caught such a large number of fish that the nets were about to break.” Luke 5:4-6.

Today if you are feeling discouraged, encourage yourself in the Lord. We don’t trust only when things go our way, but also when it seems that things are going contrary. That’s is where our faith or trust in him comes to play. Faith is like the bridge that carries you from the point of seemingly impossiblity to the point of realisation of your goals and dreams. When faith is not there, there’s no way one can cross to the side of testimonies. That is what Hebrews 11:6 meant when it submitted that without faith no man can please God or receive his approval. In Christ, we don’t run or walk depending on our individual strength as men. We tap into his strength by the help of his indwelling Spirit. Today ask the Lord to wear you his strength and to bear you on his mighty wings, so that together you will soar over obstacles and challenges to the point of fulfilment. I see you finishing strong by the help of the Spirit of God who is imparting you with his life. Romans 8:11.

Prayer :Thank you Father God because it can never be late with you. Thank you because there is no failure in you. As I yield myself to obey you, cause the remaining days and weeks in the year to release abundant harvest of victories and testimonies into my life in Jesus wonderful name… Amen 🙏🏿.

Moving The Hand Of God By Sacrifice

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Tuesday December 3rd, 2024.

Topic :Moving The Hand Of God By Sacrifice.

Memory Verse : Hebrews 13:16. Do not forget to do good and to help one another, because these are the sacrifices that please God.

Bible Reading : Hebrews 13:13-15 GNB. Key Verse : v15.

Let us, then, go to him outside the camp and share his shame. For there is no permanent city for us here on earth; we are looking for the city which is to come. Let us, then, always offer praise to God as our sacrifice through Jesus, which is the offering presented by lips that confess him as Lord.

If you study the new testament closely, you will discover that the Spirit of God laid more emphasis on mercy of God instead of the sacrifices men brought to atone for their sins and other religious ritualsthey needed to carry out in the temple those days. The reason sacrifice through the high priests of old was played down in the new testament is because the sacrifice of Jesus Christ has been accepted by heaven as the ultimate sacrifice that is able to rest the issue of sin permanently or forever when we run to him for help or believe in him. “Because Jesus Christ did what God wanted him to do, we are all purified from sin by the offering that he made of his own body once and for all. Every Jewish priest performs his services every day and offers the same sacrifices many times; but these sacrifices can never take away sins. Christ, however, offered one sacrifice for sins, an offering that is effective for ever, and then he sat down at the right-hand side of God.”
PooHebrews 10:10-12.

Because God is Spirit one of the easiest ways to reach him is by sacrifice, only that the form of sacrifice needed in our days changed in some areas. David helped us understand what a sacrifice means before the Lord during his encounter with Araunah. Araunah was trying to give David his field and everything he needed to sacrifice to the Lord, but David insisted that he won’t give to God that which costs him nothing. This means that a sacrifice before the Lord is that which costs a man something. If it takes nothing significant out of us, then it’s not a sacrifice. “Araunah gave it all to the king and said to him, “May the Lord your God accept your offering.” But the king answered, “No, I will pay you for it. I will not offer to the Lord my God sacrifices that have cost me nothing.” And he bought the threshing place and the oxen for fifty pieces of silver. Then he built an altar to the Lord and offered burnt offerings and fellowship offerings. The Lord answered his prayer, and the epidemic in Israel was stopped.” 2 Samuel 24:22-24.

Meeting Christ at the gate and partaking of his shame gurrantees us a place in him through salvation which makes us partakers of his everlasting kingdom. On the other hand, we can still move his hand of divine intervention in crucial matters by some other forms of sacrifice and not the blood of animals or any other form of rituals. One of the sacrifices that God can never resist even today is that of our lips or praises. It was the key of praises he gave king Jehosaphat that made enemy nations armies kill themselves till the last man standing was no more. Reaching out to the needy is another sacrifice that God can never ignore today. Another form of sacrifice God values much in our days is that of time. The time we could use in our personal pursuits that we sacrifice to build intimacy, seek and serve him or his purpose on earth. The reason God doesn’t joke with sacrifice or those things that we do to, or with him at a cost is because they are part of our worship. In worship, we express our love and submission to him.

Prayer :Thank you Father God for giving me Jesus to die for my sins. I embrace the cross of Jesus Christ and all it stands for all my days. From today, help me to make the right sacrifices, as to always move your hand in my favour when need be in Jesus wonderful name…. Amen 🙏🏿.
