How To Receive The Promises.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONAL.

Sunday 15th October, 2023.

Topic: How To Receive The Promises.

Memory Verse: Hebrews 6:15. And so, after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise.

Bible Reading: Hebrews 6:11-14. Key Verse: v13.

And we desire that every one of you do shew the same diligence to the full assurance of hope unto the end: That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises. For when God made promise to Abraham, because he could swear by no greater, he sware by himself, Saying, Surely blessing I will bless thee, and multiplying I will multiply thee.

Every man on earth that wants to walk with God fruitfully in his lifetime need to understand his ways. There are some factors that determines how far every believer can go with God. One of those factors includes commitment. God’s own commitment towards our well being or himself keeping his word can never be in doubt. Now, it is how ourselves respond to him that determines what happens at the end of the day. For example, God desires that the whole world be saved. He backed this desire with a corresponding action (the sacrifice of his one and only son on the cross to pay for redemption of men). Yet not all men are saved, not because the blood of sacrifice of Jesus has lost its power to save, but because many refused to accept Jesus into their lives, which is a requirement to benefit from the blessing of his sacrificial death and atonement for sin. In like manner, many believers fail to enjoy the full blessings of God because of our attitude towards him.

Another factor that determines how far anyone can go with God is patience. Many couldn’t get to their destination with God Almighty because they couldn’t accept delays with God. They want things to happen at their own time instead of waiting patiently for God’s time. I once heard Dr Oyedepo of Winners say that “your waiting time, is not your washing time”. Today, many including believers see waiting time as being wasted because they lack total truth. For everything God wants to do, he has a right time and purpose, so no man can dictate to him. We can only wait when patience is at work in us. Hebrews 10:35-36.

On a final and most important note, we must have faith in God’s ability to deliver that which he promised us at the end. It is the existence of strong faith that regulates both our commitment level as well as how patient we can really be with God in practical terms. Faith is like the solid pillar that bears the burden of a building. When faith fails, every other thing caves in. That’s the reason the word said in Hebrews 11:6 that without faith, it is impossible for anyone to transact any business with God. Faith strengthens conviction, while conviction strengthens commitment which is key to waiting patiently for God to come through on our behalf. “Saying, Surely blessing I will bless thee, and multiplying I will multiply thee. And so, after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise.” Hebrews 6:14-15.

Prayer :Thank you Father God for every of your promises that has gone forth into my life. From today help me by your Spirit to be committed and patient in my walk with you. Keep me standing firm in faith till victory in Jesus blessed name……Amen 🙏🏿.

Keys To Fruitfulness.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONAL.

Saturday 14th October, 2023.

Topic: Keys To Fruitfulness.

Memory Verse: Colossians 1:11. Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness;

Bible Reading: Colossians 1:8-10. Key Verse:v9.

Who also declared unto us your love in the Spirit. For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;

Apostle Paul had a burden for the Colosian believers and had to reach out to them to make sure that they didn’t fall prey to false teachers. He wanted them to understand the Christ they believed in and what it takes to be fruitful in him. What he told them yesterday, he is telling us today. The first thing here is that we must have the right knowledge of the God we serve. By this, we can be filled with his wisdom as a result of operating in understanding. It takes understanding to take the best advantage of every opportunity or relationship in life. “Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord, According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:” 2 Peter 1:2-3.

The next thing we need to be fruitful in him is the power of the Holy Spirit working inside us, because without him, we can do nothing. The Holy Spirit makes the wisdom and strength of God available to us for supernatural results. “That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,” Ephesians 3:16-17,20.

On a last note, another key to fruitfulness here is to be patient through trying times and with joy. It’s good to point out here that our rejoicing before the Lord when things go our way has little or no weight before the Lord. The rejoicing that counts much before the Lord is that we engage in, in difficult times. This can only be possible when we are truly submitted to the Lord unconditionally. Patience in times of trouble is key to outstanding testimonies most times. “Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward. For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise. Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.” Hebrews 10:35-36,38.

Prayer: Thank you Father God because it is your will that I keep bearing fruits in you, fruits that stand the test of time. I receive the grace to know you the more. As I walk with you in wisdom, understanding and patience, uncommon testimonies will be my lifestyle in Jesus’ blessed name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Making Changes Through Prayer.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONAL.

Friday 13th October, 2023.

Topic: Making Changes Through Prayer.

Memory Verse :1 Timothy 2:6. Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.

Bible Reading :1 Timothy 2:3-5 KJV. Key Verse:v4.

For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;

There is need for believers to be prayerful. In the place of prayer the power of God is made available to us to cause changes or make things to happen in the political, religious, economy of nations, families, etc. In the place of prayer, we are able to affect decisions in important places that our feet cannot reach per time. “I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;” 1 Timothy 2:1-3.

By intercessory prayers, Abraham was able to touch God and influence what happened in sodom from the plains of Mamre where he was. After God confided in him of his plan to destroy sodom where his nephew Lot was. He stood before the Lord in intercessory prayers to the saving of Lot and his family. “And the men turned their faces from thence, and went toward Sodom: but Abraham stood yet before the LORD. And Abraham drew near, and said, Wilt thou also destroy the righteous with the wicked? Peradventure there be fifty righteous within the city: wilt thou also destroy and not spare the place for the fifty righteous that are therein?” Genesis 18:22-24.

Through intercessory prayers, we will be able to enforce God’s plan or will on earth in our lives and that of other people around us. In the place of prayer we will be able to prevail over evil forces that prevent the heart of men from receiving the light of the gospel. It is prayer that gives our Christianity power to make impact. “I have been divinely called as an apostle to preach this revelation, which is the truth. God has called me to be a trustworthy teacher to the nations. Therefore, I encourage the men to pray on every occasion with hands lifted to God in worship with clean hearts, free from frustration or strife.” Timothy 2:7-8 TPT.

Prayer : Thank you Father God for your love for me and the whole of mankind. As I stand to intercede for my family, the church of Jesus and my world, let the Spirit use me to affect changes that will honour God and bless my generation in Jesus blessed name… Amen 🙏🏿.

Doors And Oppositions

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONAL.

Thursday 12th October, 2023.

Topic: Doors And Oppositions.

Memory Verse: 1 Corinthians 16:9. For a great door and effectual is opened unto me, and there are many adversaries.

Bible Reading :1 Corinthians 16:5-8 KJV. Key Verse: v9.

Now I will come unto you when I shall pass through Macedonia: for I do pass through Macedonia. And it may be that I will abide, yea, and winter with you, that ye may bring me on my journey whithersoever I go. For I will not see you now by the way; but I trust to tarry a while with you, if the Lord permit. But I will tarry at Ephesus until Pentecost.

Apostle Paul is talking about doors that were opened unto him for the furtherance of the gospel of our Lord Jesus, but there were many contentions or oppositions to overcome before he could take maximum advantage of such. Doors are entrances as well as outlets to places. No man will have access to anybody or place whose door is shut against such individual. Some delays and hindrances we experience in certain areas of life is because doors that need to open in such areas were yet to respond. “Write the following to the messenger of the congregation in Philadelphia, for these are the solemn words of the Holy One, the true one, who has David’s key, who opens doors that none can shut and who closes doors that none can open: I know all that you’ve done. Now I have set before you a wide-open door that none can shut. For I know that you possess only a little power, yet you’ve kept my word and haven’t denied my name.” Revelation 3:7-8 TPT.

In the spirit realm, there are doors to places including cities and nations. These doors are manned by spirits that control such geographical area. These spirits in turn are represented by humans. This means that such spirit entities works or manifests through certain individuals in every locality. We encounter such people daily in places of business, families, coporations, establishments, politics etc. without taking note of them, except by the help of the Spirit of God. “From there they crossed the island as far as Paphos, where they encountered a Jewish false prophet, a sorcerer named Elymas, who also went by the name of “son of Jesus.” He had gained influence as the spiritual advisor to the regional governor, Sergius Paulus, considered by many to be a wise and intelligent leader. The governor requested a meeting with Barnabas and Saul because he wanted to hear the message of God’s word. But Elymas, whose name means “sorcerer,” stood up against them and tried to prevent the governor from believing their message.” Acts 13:6-8.

God had given Apostle Paul and Barnabas an open door in Paphos that led them even to the office or palace of the regional governor, but the enemy stood to oppose the move of God in that palace and city through the person of Elymas. It was by the help of the Spirit of God that Apostle Paul had victory over him for their work to flourish. “Saul, also known as Paul, stared into his eyes and rebuked him. Filled with the Holy Spirit, he said, “You son of the devil! You are full of every form of fraud and deceit and an enemy of all that is right. When will you stop perverting the truth of God into lies? At this very moment the hand of God’s judgment comes down upon you and you will be blind—so blind you won’t even be able to see the light of the sun.” As Paul spoke these words, a shadowy mist and darkness came over the sorcerer, leaving him blind and groping about, begging someone to lead him around by the hand. When the governor witnessed this, he believed and was awestruck by the power of the message of the Lord.”

Acts 13:9-12 TPT.

Prayer :Thank you Lord Jesus for every door you have opened unto me. By your Spirit I subdue every power from hell that wants to stand against the move of God in my life. I enter and possess my possessions in Jesus precious name….. Amen 🙏🏿.

God of all possibilities

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONAL.

Wednesday 11th October, 2023.

Topic: God Of All Possibilities.

Memory Verse :Mark 9:23. Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.

Bible Reading :Matthew 8:6-8. Key Verse :v8.

And saying, Lord, my servant lieth at home sick of the palsy, grievously tormented. And Jesus saith unto him, I will come and heal him. The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed.

Jesus Christ just came down from a mountain and crowd of men followed him as he walked the streets of carpernsum. There a commander in the army approached him for assistance for his servant who was sick and dying to be healed. Jesus accepted going to pray for the servant to be healed, but the man felt unworthy to bring Jesus Christ under his roof. “And Jesus saith unto him, I will come and heal him. The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed. For I am a man under authority, having soldiers under me: and I say to this man, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it.” Matthew 8:7-9.

This man through his experience as a soldier knew what it meant to be a man in authority. One who does his work by issuing orders and commands to orders who are bound to carry such out without hesitations. He knew that Jesus was a different kind of man, a man who taught the word of God, healed the sick, cast out devils and worked miracles with unprecedented ease. This soldier asked Jesus to just speak healing into the life of his servant from where they were. “When Jesus heard it, he marvelled, and said to them that followed, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel. And I say unto you, That many shall come from the east and west, and shall sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, in the kingdom of heaven. And Jesus said unto the centurion,” Matthew 8:10-11.

“And Jesus said unto the centurion, Go thy way; and as thou hast believed, so be it done unto thee. And his servant was healed in the selfsame hour.” Matthew 8:13. This centurion here had an uncommon faith that activated an uncommon miracle. As Jesus made a release from where they were, the sick servant was healed there at home where he laid sick and dying instantly. By the time the master returned home and made his findings, he discovered that the healing took place same moment he encountered Christ Jesus on the way. Today we need to learn that all things are ours through Jesus Christ. He died and paid for all we needed to have a good life here on earth. All we need to have these things he paid for with his blood working in our lives is just to believe unwaveringly. Today, never forget that all things are possible to anyone who dares to believe.

Prayer : Thank you Lord Jesus because you are the God of all possibilities. Today I believe you have touched me in my heath, finances, marital life (mention where you need his touch). Thank you for giving me a miracle in Jesus wonderful name….. Amen 🙏🏿.

School Of the Spirit

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONAL.

Tuesday 10th October, 2023.

Topic: School of the Spirit

chool Of The Spirit.

Memory Verse :Isaiah 44:4. And they shall spring up as among the grass, as willows by the water courses.

Bible Reading :. Isaiah 44:1-3. Key Verse : v3.

Yet now hear, O Jacob my servant; and Israel, whom I have chosen: Thus saith the LORD that made thee, and formed thee from the womb, which will help thee; Fear not, O Jacob, my servant; and thou, Jesurun, whom I have chosen. For I will pour water upon him that is thirsty, and floods upon the dry ground: I will pour my spirit upon thy seed, and my blessing upon thine offspring:

There is something about diviine choice; nobody has the capacity to question it. It is always the prerogative of God Almighty and himself alone. Only him decides the yardstick to use at any point in time and in any given situation, depending on what he desires to achieve. For example, when he wanted to raise a replacement king for Israel, after king Saul failed, he needed a man who loves or who will love him and the people from the depths of his hearts. That was how he ended up with David the shepherd boy, who met that needed requirement.
“But the LORD said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the LORD seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart. And he sent, and brought him in. Now he was ruddy, and withal of a beautiful countenance, and goodly to look to. And the LORD said, Arise, anoint him: for this is he.”1 Samuel 16:7,12.

On a second note we need to understand today as believers that the highest gift God gave the church is His Spirit. In the Holy Spirit, God gave himself to man. The outpouring of the Spirit of God on man is the release of God into man, so that God can live within a man and make him his operational office. We need to know that God pours his Spirit into any man to the level of his or her hunger and thirst. “In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.
(But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)” John 7:37-39.

On a final note we need to understand that God’s blessing upon us as his people is first spiritual and not material. However, this spiritual blessing or divine presence pulls everything good to the carrier including material things. There is need to say this because anytime we talk about blessing among believers, the first thing that comes to the mind of many is material things. That is the reason many today are not seeking the kingdom and its righteousness but those things that are promised to be added, only we have gotten the kingdom and its righteousness at work in our lives. “Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” Matthew 6:31-33.

Prayer :Thank you Father God for your love for me and the grace to know you more. Give me understanding of who you are and what you are doing in my life. Help me not to miss you for any reason. Position me for higher kingdom blessing and attendant responsibilities in Jesus precious name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Promise Keeper God

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONAL.

Monday 9th October, 2023.

Topic: Promise Keeper God.

Memory Verse :Isaiah 43:5. Fear not: for I am with thee: I will bring thy seed from the east, and gather thee from the west;

Bible Reading :Isaiah 43:1-3. Key Verse :v2.

But now thus saith the LORD that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine. When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee. For I am the LORD thy God, the Holy One of Israel, thy Saviour: I gave Egypt for thy ransom, Ethiopia and Seba for thee.

It pays to serve God or live a covenant life here on earth. The covenant of God speaking over the life of Jacob turned his weakness into strength. Even in his struggles he had an encounter with God that changed his entire life from being a trickster to father of nations. “And he said, Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel: for as a prince hast thou power with God and with men, and hast prevailed. And Jacob asked him, and said, Tell me, I pray thee, thy name. And he said, Wherefore is it that thou dost ask after my name? And he blessed him there. And Jacob called the name of the place Peniel: for I have seen God face to face, and my life is preserved.” Genesis 32:28-30.

It is not enough for us to surrender our lives to Jesus Christ. There is need for growth and maturity in him. We need to be able to develop a walk with him, as to take best advantage of numerous heavenly resources that solidifies our lives and relationship with God Almighty. At this point we become one with him because it is a life of union which makes his presence available to us all the time. His presence makes the difference in every life. The presence of God in the life of a man, gives him an edge over his contemporaries by making divine capacity available to us. That is the reason for a different kind of results because we bear his name. This means that we have become his property. Because we belong to him, he watches over our affairs with jealousy to make sure that what stops others in life won’t stop us. His presence grants us extra ordinary results in life. At this juncture, the rivers and fires of life whose effect in the lives of men are always disastrous becomes a blessing to us rather. Luke 10:18-19.

All these privileges becomes possible through the channel of redemption. Today realise that God created you. Never forget that he had a good and great plan for your life which the flood waters and fires of trial of faith cannot stop. All you need when you encounter these challenges is to remember who you are before your maker and redeemer as to stay on his promises. The promises of God cannot fail any man. “Yea, before the day was I am he; and there is none that can deliver out of my hand: I will work, and who shall let it? Thus saith the LORD, your redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; For your sake I have sent to Babylon, and have brought down all their nobles, and the Chaldeans, whose cry is in the ships. I am the LORD, your Holy One, the creator of Israel, your King. Thus saith the LORD, which maketh a way in the sea, and a path in the mighty waters;” Isaiah 43:13-16.

Prayer : Thank you Father God for making me your own. Today I ask that you help me grow into spiritual maturity. Let me carry your presence that makes the difference anywhere I go and in anything I do. Let results speak for me from today in all I do, as evidence of your presence in Jesus wonderful name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Pursuing God’s Plan

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONAL.

Sunday 8th October, 2023.

Topic: Pursing God’s Plan.

Memory Verse :Hebrews 6:12. That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.

Bible Reading :Hebrews 6:9-11. Key Verse :v9.

But, beloved, we are persuaded better things of you, and things that accompany salvation, though we thus speak.

For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister. And we desire that every one of you do shew the same diligence to the full assurance of hope unto the end:

At the point we encounter the love of God as displayed by the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ and submit our lives to him, the journey of salvation begins. Ths journey of salvation is that of faith and the way is full of sacrifices. These sacrifices we make count before God here on earth and after here, as they add colour to our relationship with our maker. They go a long way to control what comes out of our relationship with the Father both in this life and in eternity. These sacrifices are part of our labour of love for God and his kingdom (the brethren). They give us cumulative heacenly points that affect many things including eternal reward at the end. “For God, the Faithful One, is not unfair. How can he forget the work you have done for him? He remembers the love you demonstrate as you continually serve his beloved ones for the glory of his name.” Hebrews 6:10 TPT.

Now there’s need for us to make progress to develop a working relationship with God by his Spirit, that is the only way we can cultivate a healthy walk with him. When we relate with him on daily basis, his nature keeps rubbing off on us as we appear before him. That is the reason for growth and maturity. Growth and maturity is key to discovering his plan for our lives and pursuing such. These plans comes somerimes as promises and at other times revelations whereby God tries to paints a picture of the future to us to ignite a hunger that will make us pursue such vigorously., “And, behold, the word of the LORD came unto him, saying, This shall not be thine heir; but he that shall come forth out of thine own bowels shall be thine heir. And he brought him forth abroad, and said, Look now toward heaven, and tell the stars, if thou be able to number them: and he said unto him, So shall thy seed be. And he believed in the LORD; and he counted it to him for righteousness.” Genesis 15:4-6. See also Mathew 4:19.

After we have known God’s plan for our lives, it is left for us to pursue such by faith and with much patience. Men that walk with God must trust him to always deliver at the right time which is always regulated by his sovereign self. The evidence of unwavering trust in God’s ability to deliver is always displayed in patience. If you can’t wait for God’s timing, it shows that your trust in him is weak or not functional. By trust and patience, men are able to birth great plan of God for their lives. “Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations, according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be. And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sara’s womb: He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;” Romans 4:18-20.

Prayer : Thank you Father God because of your good plan for my life. Open the eyes my understanding to know and pursue your plan for my life. Help me not to fail. Keep me stable on the paths of faith and patience till I walk in full accomplishment of your good plan for my life unto eternal victory in Jesus blessed name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Transformational Miracle

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONAL.

Friday 6th October, 2023.

Topic: Transformational Miracle.

Memory Verse: John 9:25. He answered and said, Whether he be a sinner or no, I know not: one thing I know, that, whereas I was blind, now I see.

Bible Reading: John 9:7-9. Key Verse: v9.

And said unto him, Go, wash in the pool of Siloam, (which is by interpretation, Sent.) He went his way, therefore, and washed, and came seeing. The neighbors, therefore, and they which before had seen him that he was blind, said, Is not this he that sat and begged? Some said, This is he: others said, He is like him: but he said, I am he.

Jesus Christ was passing on the way on a sabbath day and met a man born blind without eye sockets. His condition was hopeless and pitiable. The disciples began to ask the master why the man was born in that condition, if it was because of the sin of his biological parents or himself that got him into that abnormal condition. But he let them know that the man was born in that condition not because of the sins of anybody, but as a display of the creative power of God. “As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world. When he had thus spoken, he spat on the ground and made clay of the spittle, and he anointed the eyes of the blind man with the clay, And said unto him, Go, wash in the pool of Siloam, (which is by interpretation, Sent.) He went his way, therefore, and washed, and came seeing.” John 9:5-7,25.

Now, this transformational miracle was so strong that many who knew the previous condition of the blind young man couldn’t believe it was the same man who was going about seeing and glorifying God. The religious leaders of their day tried everything within their reach to discredit the miracle by trying to run down the person of Jesus Christ for healing on a sabbath day, but the young man was adamant in sharing his testimony to whoever cared to listen.”Then again called they the man that was blind, and said unto him, Give God the praise: we know that this man is a sinner. He answered and said, Whether he be a sinner or no, I know not: one thing I know, that, whereas I was blind, now I see. Then said they to him again, What did he to thee? how opened he thine eyes? He answered them, I have told you already, and ye did not hear: wherefore would ye hear it again? will ye also be his disciples?” John 9:24-27.

The religious leaders of those days could not recognize the move of God in their generation. They read Moses and the law without coming to the realization that Jesus Christ himself was a fulfillment of prophecy. Their understanding was beclouded by envy as they saw him as commanding all the attention they thought they deserved. Today, ask the Lord to do a new work in your life that will cause men who thought they had known you to know you again like that young man. Jesus is still in the business of transforming lives and destinies even today. “Thus saith the LORD the maker thereof, the LORD that formed it, to establish it; the LORD is his name; Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not. For thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel, concerning the houses of this city, and concerning the houses of the kings of Judah, which are thrown down by the mounts, and by the sword;” Jeremiah 33:2-4.

Conditions For Divine Intervention

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONAL.

Thursday 5th October, 2023.

Topic: Conditions For Divine Intervention.

Memory Verse :Psalms 34:19. Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all.

Bible Reading :Psalms 34:14-18. Key Verse :v14

Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it. The eyes of the LORD are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry. The face of the LORD is against them that do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth. The righteous cry, and the LORD heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles. The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.

God is interested in the totality of the well being of mankind. That is the reason he is able to put up a plan of redemption for man’s restoration after the fall. A redemption he got at an exhorbitant cost, even the blood of Jesus Christ, his only begotten son. Haven given us his one and only son on the cross as a sacrifice for sin, tbere is nothing good and precious he will withold from us. The Lord is interested in every details of our lives, including defense, provision and protection, etc. “And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows.” Matthew 10:28-31.

God watches over all his creatures to care for their needs, no matter how insignificant and helpless they may look. As men, all we need to enjoy the blessing of his intervention anytime or day is to separate ourselves from everything that is evil or that which doesn’t glorify God. We have to always do that which is good and accepted before him. We won’t stop there, but take further steps to pursue peace and keep it as much as it is within our power or control. When we have done all these, we will qualify to command his intervention anytime we need it. “Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow. Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:” Isaiah 1:17-19.

The Lord can never resist the cry of the righteous. His ears will always be open for he will always rescue the weak and afflicted. Today, as you humble yourself before the Lord, he will work a mighty deliverance in your life and you you shall glorify him. “O magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt his name together. I sought the LORD, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears. They looked unto him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed. This poor man cried, and the LORD heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles. The angel of the LORD encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them. O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.” Psalms 34:3-8.

Prayer :Thank you Father God for your commitment to my total well being. Today, as I turn away from anything that doesn’t glorify you, take over every battles of my life. As I seek your face, put a new song in my mouth. Let my testimonies draw men to you in Jesus Precious name…. Amen 🙏🏿.
