Need For Godly Leaders.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Topic: Need For Godly Leaders.

Memory Verse :1 Kings 9:5. Then I will establish the throne of thy kingdom upon Israel forever, as I promised to David thy father, saying, There shall not fail thee a man upon the throne of Israel.

Bible Reading :1 Kings 9:1-3. Key Verse:v3.

And it came to pass, when Solomon had finished the building of the house of the LORD, and the king’s house, and all Solomon’s desire which he was pleased to do, That the LORD appeared to Solomon the second time, as he had appeared unto him at Gibeon. And the LORD said unto him, I have heard thy prayer and thy supplication, that thou hast made before me: I have hallowed this house, which thou hast from built, to put my name there for ever; and mine eyes and mine heart shall be there perpetually.

After king Solomon made an unprecedented sacrifice to God on ascending the throne, God visited him the first time and gave him uncommon wisdom to rule the people in the fear of God and unprecedented fame, riches and wealth. When he finished building the temple of God as conceived by David his father and directed by God, the Lord was moved to visit him a second time. God came this second time to strengthen his relationship with the king. “And if thou wilt walk before me, as David thy father walked, in integrity of heart, and in uprightness, to do according to all that I have commanded thee, and wilt keep my statutes and my judgments: Then I will establish the throne of thy kingdom upon Israel for ever, as I promised to David thy father, saying, There shall not fail thee a man upon the throne of Israel.” 1 Kings 9:4-5.

God made king Solomon understand also that his success and that of generations that will come after him will depend largely on their ability to keep following the ways of the Lord. The Lord made him know that if the leadership of Israel should deviate from the ways of the Lord to serve idols, he will be an enemy to Israeli till they were destroyed. “But if ye shall at all turn from following me, ye or your children, and will not keep my commandments and my statutes which I have set before you, but go and serve other gods, and worship them: Then will I cut off Israel out of the land which I have given them; and this house, which I have hallowed for my name, will I cast out of my sight; and Israel shall be a proverb and a byword among all people:” 1 Kings 9:6-7.

One of the reasons many great nations are not doing well today is because of the type of leadership they have. We have raised leaders that dine with satan in our families, localities and nations. King Solomon had a relationship with God Almighty as to pray to him directly, he didn’t hire anyone to help him talk to God. God was dealing with him one on one here and not through a third party. Today we need to pray for our leaders, starting from the family level to nations. We will ask the Lord to raise Godly or God fearing leaders starting from our families to the national level. Men that will be in the lead to serve God and not men that will be raising altars of darkness that will turn great families and nations to groping people because of the anger of God ravaging the people when spiritual darkness covers the land. “Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people.” Proverbs 14:34.

Prayer :Father God I thank you because you are faithful to them who love and serve you. Today I pray that you begin to raise from among us Godly leaders, men that will follow your ways, starting from our families to our national level. Raise men that will fear you and lead us to serve you, so that we may command your favour and abound in your blessing in Jesus precious name… Amen 🙏🏿.

Putting God First.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Monday 13th November, 2023.

Topic: Putting God First.

Memory Verse: Haggai 2:5. According to the word that I covenanted with you when ye came out of Egypt, so my spirit remaineth among you: fear ye not.

Bible Reading: Haggai 2:2-4. Key Verse: v4.

Speak now to Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and to Joshua the son of Josedech, the high priest, and to the residue of the people, saying, Who is left among you that saw this house in her first glory? and how do ye see it now? is it not in your eyes in comparison of it as nothing? Yet now be strong, O Zerubbabel, saith the LORD; and be strong, O Joshua, son of Josedech, the high priest; and be strong, all ye people of the land, saith the LORD, and work: for I am with you, saith the LORD of hosts:

The people of Israel had returned from exile because God made it possible, so that they could rebuild the temple of God which was in ruins. After laying the foundations, the people became engrossed with their personal affairs to the point of abandoning the work of God to lie fallow. God had to raise Haggai the Prophet to wake the people from their slumber, so that they could fulfill divine purpose and be blessed. “Thus speaketh the LORD of hosts, saying, This people say, The time is not come, the time that the LORD’S house should be built. Then came the word of the LORD by Haggai the prophet, saying, Is it time for you, O ye, to dwell in your cieled houses, and this house lie waste?” Haggai 1:2-4.

The major problem here was that the people allowed themselves to be overwhelmed by economic realities of their days and every other challenges the devil was throwing at them to keep them busy and distracted from what God wanted them to do. They began to forget the covenant and promises of God to them from the days of old that is timeless and ever reliable. Some of them were looking at the litte in their hands, they thought that if they dropped such, it would be difficult for them to meet up with their personal obligations. They forgot that their blessing and prosperity rested in obeying divine instructions and not their personal struggles. “Go up to the mountain, and bring wood, and build the house; and I will take pleasure in it, and I will be glorified, saith the LORD. Ye looked for much, and, lo, it came to little; and when ye brought it home, I did blow upon it. Why? saith the LORD of hosts. Because of mine house that is waste, and ye run every man unto his own house. Therefore the heaven over you is stayed from dew, and the earth is stayed from her fruit.” Haggai 1:8-10.

Today, the Lord wants us to realise like the Israeltes of old that obeying the voice of God and walking in his plan and not ours is key to our blessing, prosperity and fulfillment in life. Obedience is key to activating the fulfillment of God’s promises and covenant of blessing in our lives. When we walk in God’s plan ignoring the challenges, he able to command everything around us including enemy forces to usher us into our blessing because they all serve his purpose. “For thus saith the LORD of hosts; Yet once, it is a little while, and I will shake the heavens, and the earth, and the sea, and the dry land; And I will shake all nations, and the desire of all nations shall come: and I will fill this house with glory, saith the LORD of hosts. The silver is mine, and the gold is mine, saith the LORD of hosts.” Haggai 2:6-8.

Prayer : Thank you Father God because you are ever faithful. Have mercy on me and forgive me anywhere I didn’t walk in your plan or put you first. As I take concrete steps to obey you, cause everything around me including enemy forces to work in my favour in Jesus wonderful name… Amen 🙏🏿.

The Power Of Praise.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Sunday 12th November, 2023.

Topic: The Power Of Praise.

Memory Verse: 2 Chronicles 20:18. And Jehoshaphat bowed his head with his face to the ground: and all Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem fell before the LORD, worshipping the LORD.

Bible Reading:2 Chronicles 20:19-21. Key Verse: v21.

And the Levites, of the children of the Kohathites, and of the children of the Korhites, stood up to praise the LORD God of Israel with a loud voice on high. And they rose early in the morning, and went forth into the wilderness of Tekoa: and as they went forth, Jehoshaphat stood and said, Hear me, O Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem; Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper. And when he had consulted with the people, he appointed singers unto the LORD, and that should praise the beauty of holiness, as they went out before the army, and to say, Praise the LORD; for his mercy endureth for ever.

This was a very trying time for king Jehoshaphat and the people of Judah. The joint army of enemy nations ganged up to fight the people of Judah. They amassed an army that the people of Judah had no match for numerically or otherwise. The knew the only way out waa to run to God for help. King jehoshaphat declared a fast fir the great and small, young and old, including animals. The people gathered and prayed their hearts out before the Lord. “And now, behold, the children of Ammon and Moab and mount Seir, whom thou wouldest not let Israel invade, when they came out of the land of Egypt, but they turned from them, and destroyed them not; Behold, I say, how they reward us, to come to cast us out of thy possession, which thou hast given us to inherit. O our God, wilt thou not judge them? for we have no might against this great company that cometh against us; neither know we what to do: but our eyes are upon thee.” 2 Chronicles 20:10-12.

When they touched heaven, the Spirit of God came down in their midst and began to to speak and give them directives on how to approach the war. God gave them an uncommon weapon in this warfare called praise . The Lord gave them definite instructions on how to approach the battle. “And he said, Hearken ye, all Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem, and thou king Jehoshaphat, Thus saith the LORD unto you, Be not afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God’s.
To morrow go ye down against them: behold, they come up by the cliff of Ziz; and ye shall find them at the end of the brook, before the wilderness of Jeruel. Ye shall not need to fight in this battle: set yourselves, stand ye still, and see the salvation of the LORD with you, O Judah and Jerusalem: fear not, nor be dismayed; to morrow go out against them: for the LORD will be with you.” 2 Chronicles 20:15-17.

When they obeyed divine instruction, the Lord stepped into the battlefield to confront their enemies.”And when they began to sing and to praise, the LORD set ambushments against the children of Ammon, Moab, and mount Seir, which were come against Judah; and they were smitten. For the children of Ammon and Moab stood up against the inhabitants of mount Seir, utterly to slay and destroy them: and when they had made an end of the inhabitants of Seir, every one helped to destroy another. And when Judah came toward the watch tower in the wilderness, they looked unto the multitude, and, behold, they were dead bodies fallen to the earth, and none escaped.” 2 Chronicles 20:22-24. As you engage in high praise this season, tge Lord will do wonders in your life and situation.

Prayer : Thank you Father God for mystery of praise. From today, as I engage myself giving you quality praise, visit my enemies and grant me uncommon results and testimonies in Jesus precious name… Amen 🙏🏿.

Be Cautious When Celebrating Victories.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Saturday 11th November, 2023.

Topic: Be Cautious When Celebrating Victories.

Memory Verse: Isaiah 39:6. I have to warn you, the time is coming when everything in this palace, along with everything your ancestors accumulated before you, will be hauled off to Babylon. God says that there will be nothing left. Nothing.

Bible Reading : Isaiah 39:1-2 MSG. Key Verse : v2.

Sometime later, King Merodach-baladan son of Baladan of Babylon sent messengers with greetings and a gift to Hezekiah. He had heard that Hezekiah had been sick and was now well. Hezekiah received the messengers warmly. He took them on a tour of his royal precincts, proudly showing them all his treasures: silver, gold, spices, expensive oils, all his weapons—everything out on display. There was nothing in his house or kingdom that Hezekiah didn’t show them.

Hezekiah was a Godly king that reigned over Judah in the fear of the Lord. He did what was right in the sight of the Lord by carrying out reforms in his days to destroy evil altars of idol worship and led the people back to the worship of the true and living God of his father David. At a point in time he was sick and God sent his servant Isaiah to inform him to prepare himself and his house because he was going to die and not live. King Hezekiah upon receipt of the message turned to the wall and cried to God to spare his life and heal him, so that he could do more good works for the Lord, and the Lord heard him. “Go, and say to Hezekiah, Thus saith the LORD, the God of David thy father, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will add unto thy days fifteen years. And I will deliver thee and this city out of the hand of the king of Assyria: and I will defend this city.” Isaiah 38:5-6.

After Hezekiah was healed, his friends came to appreciate what God dud in his life. Noe6, the enemy his properity and peace who the king of Babylon disguised and came as a friend and lover. He sent his emiseries with enough gifts to becloud the sense of reasoning of the King. They pretended to come to make friend and show solidarity, but their real mission was to spy his territory. Because the Lord was with Hezekiah, the kings around could not stand him in battles, they had to try to get close as to size him up and know his secrets. King Hezekiah fell for their tricks and gave out vital informations that brewed strong envy. “And what did they see in your palace?””Everything,” said Hezekiah. “I showed them the works, opened all the doors and impressed them with it all.” Then Isaiah said to Hezekiah, “Now listen to this Message from God-of-the-Angel-Armies: I have to warn you, the time is coming when everything in this palace, along with everything your ancestors accumulated before you, will be hauled off to Babylon. God says that there will be nothing left. Nothing.” Isaiah 39:4-6 MSG.

Most time we make our worst mistakes when we get carried away by certain victory or something that makes us so happy that we throw caution to the winds for some time out of joy. God’s word rightly admonished that we are always at our best defensively when we live in sobriety. “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.” 1 Peter 5:8-9. From today, understand that the enemy may want to infiltrate you when you are in celebration and happy mood. When you celebrate your victories as the Lord drops them, always be on the watch because the enemy that couldn’t get you before then, may want to take advantage of your being less cautious to infiltrate and attack your camp.

Prayer :Thank you Father God for your word that preserves me. Help me not to be careless as to fall ptey to my enemies, celebrating my victories from you. Help me by your Spirit to always discern the enemy when they try to infiltrate my camp in Jesus precious name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

The School Of Nehemiah.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Friday 10th November, 2023.

Topic: The School Of Nehemiah.

Memory Verse: Nehemiah 4:3. At his side, Tobiah the Ammonite jumped in and said, “That’s right! What do they think they’re building? Why, if a fox climbed that wall, it would fall to pieces under his weight.”

Bible Reading: Nehemiah 4:1-2 MSG. Key Verse: v2.

When Sanballat heard that we were rebuilding the wall he exploded in anger, vilifying the Jews. In the company of his Samaritan cronies and military he let loose: “What are these miserable Jews doing? Do they think they can get everything back to normal overnight? Make building stones out of make-believe?”

The Jews that returned from exile by divine intervention were doing a great job that the entire region took note of. All hands were on deck as they were totally committed to the task of rebuilding the walls of Jerusalem that was burnt and broken down during the conquest of their territory by the Babylonians. Their enemies were helpless concerning this new and unexpected move of God over the land of Israel. They sought to weaken their hands and get them discouraged from continuing their rebuilding project. Sanbalat and Tobiah led the group of enemies to mock the great work the people of God was doing out of envy thinking they could stop the work from being a complished. Nehemiah refused to bow to their mockery, but turned to God in prayers for help. “Nehemiah prayed, “Oh listen to us, dear God. We’re so despised: Boomerang their ridicule on their heads; have their enemies cart them off as war trophies to a land of no return; don’t forgive their iniquity, don’t wipe away their sin—they’ve insulted the builders!” Nehemiah 4:4-5.

“We kept at it, repairing and rebuilding the wall. The whole wall was soon joined together and halfway to its intended height because the people had a heart for the work. When Sanballat, Tobiah, the Arabs, the Ammonites, and the Ashdodites heard that the repairs of the walls of Jerusalem were going so well—that the breaks in the wall were being fixed—they were absolutely furious. They put their heads together and decided to fight against Jerusalem and create as much trouble as they could.” Nehemiah 4:6-8. The more resolute and determined Nehemiah and the rebuilding Jews were to finish the work they began, the more their enemies devised fresh strategies to place obstacles on their way.

Today, we need to learn that some mockery and discouraging words from the camp of enemies is a sign that they are feeling the heat of the work we are doing, especially for the kingdom. Secondly, nothing good can be achieved in life, if you are not ready to face the opposition and conquer them. Thirdly, anytime you are faced with difficult enemies, know that the key to victory is fighting them in the place of prayer, where we have the backing of the cross. If you read through the entire picture, you will see that Nehemiah valued prayer from beginning to the end of the assignment. Again, Nehemiah was a man of courage and strong faith. God told Joshua repeatedly in chapter one that one of the keys to his fulfilling his assignment was to be strong in faith and very courageous. On a final note, always ask God for his wisdom in everything you do. The wisdom of God was at work in Nehemiah that helped him counter everything the enemies threw at him, till the work was accomplished. Nehemiah 7:1 – 6.

Prayer: Thank you Father God because every good work you began in my life, you will accomplish. Today I ask for your wisdom and strength to be at work in me. Nothing committed to my care will fail. I receive grace to accomplish every good thing I began in Jesus’ precious name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Work For Eternal Reward.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Thursday 9th November, 2023.

Topic: Work For Eternal Reward.

Memory Verse: Galatians 6:9. So let’s not allow ourselves to get fatigued doing good. At the right time, we will harvest a good crop if we don’t give up, or quit.

Bible Reading: Galatians 6:7-9 MSG. Key Verse:v8.

Don’t be misled: No one makes a fool of God. What a person plants, he will harvest. The person who plants selfishness, ignoring the needs of others—ignoring God!— harvests a crop of weeds. All he’ll have to show for his life is weeds! But the one who plants in response to God, letting God’s Spirit do the growth work in him, harvests a crop of real life, eternal life. So let’s not allow ourselves to get fatigued doing good. At the right time we will harvest a good crop if we don’t give up, or quit.

The life of a child of God is designed by the Spirit of God to impact others positively anywhere we find ourselves. Living to impact others positively anytime demands sacrifices that can only be made possible by the help of the Spirit of God. Sowing to the flesh is all about living for self while sowing to the Spirit is all about living ito fulfill God’s will, which certainly will impact others positively. “Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.” Matthew 5:14-16 KJV.

The good and selfless works we do in this life comes back to us in one way or another as a harvest in this life and hereafter. In like manner, men who sow evil seed into the lives of others are bound to reap their harvest, no matter how long it takes.”Then was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing: then said they among the heathen, The LORD hath done great things for them. The LORD hath done great things for us; whereof we are glad. Turn again our captivity, O LORD, as the streams in the south. They that sow in tears shall reap in joy. He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.” Psalms 126:2-6.

When you feel discouraged and pained sowing into the life of others, especially for kingdom purposes, remember that nothing good comes cheap and that the master promised us a bountiful harvest here and in eternity. When you feel weak, let the hope of a glorious harvest strengthen you.”And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last. Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.” Revelation 22:12-14 KJV.

Prayer :Thank you Father God for making me your own. I ask for grace to keep sowing into the life of others for kingdom purposes. Let my life be such that will bring men to you and establish them in you. Thank you for every harvest of reward here and in eternity in Jesus precious name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

The Beauty Of Favour.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Wednesday 8th November, 2023.

Topic: The Beauty Of Favour.

Memory Verse: Esther 2:16. So Esther was taken unto king Ahasuerus into his house royal in the tenth month, which is the month Tebeth, in the seventh year of his reign.

Bible Reading :Esther 2:15,17 KJV. Key Verse: v15.

Now when the turn of Esther, the daughter of Abihail the uncle of Mordecai, who had taken her for his daughter, was come to go in unto the king, she required nothing but what Hegai the king’s chamberlain, the keeper of the women, appointed. And Esther obtained favour in the sight of all them that looked upon her. And the king loved Esther above all the women , and she obtained grace and favour in his sight more than all the virgins; so that he set the royal crown upon her head, and made her queen instead of Vashti

Esther was an ordinary slave girl taken captive from among the Jews by Nebuchadnezzar to the land of Persia and Media, who was resident in Susa the seat of power during the reign of king Ahasuerus. He was a great king in his days whose territory spread from between India and Ethiopia. The king made an exhibition of the glory and riches of his kingdom for 6 months which he rounded up with a great feast for 7days hosting his friends and loved ones. When he was merry, he invited his very pretty queen Vashti to come and show off her beauty before him and his guests which the queen turned down. This resulted in the dethronement of the Vashti and a replacement was sought in her stead. “to bring him Queen Vashti resplendent in her royal crown. He wanted to show off her beauty to the guests and officials. She was extremely good-looking. But Queen Vashti refused to come, refused the summons delivered by the eunuchs. The king lost his temper. Seething with anger over her insolence, Esther 1:11-12 MSG.

When the process of replacing queen Vashti was initiated, the king appointed officials gathered pretty virgins from all over the land as to take care of them and prepare them for a meeting with the king, so that he could make his choice from among them. Then let the girl who pleases the king be made queen in place of Vashti.”The king liked this advice and took it. Now there was a Jew who lived in the palace complex in Susa. His name was Mordecai the son of Jair, the son of Shimei, the son of Kish—a Benjaminite. His ancestors had been taken from Jerusalem with the exiles and carried off with King Jehoiachin of Judah by King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon into exile. Mordecai had reared his cousin Hadassah, otherwise known as Esther, since she had no father or mother. The girl had a good figure and a beautiful face. After her parents died, Mordecai had adopted her.” Esther 2:4-7 MSG.

From the beginning to the end of the process, the oil of favour separated Esther from the rest of the young women in the Harem at Sushan. When she was with the care givers, the oil of favour made way for her before Hegai the chief care giver, to the extent that she enjoyed special attention and treatment. Even when she appeared before the king, the same oil of favour crowned her queen ahead of her contemporaries. “For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion. So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy.” Romans 9:15-16 KJV. Favour is a product of the compassionate mercy of God. That’s what we need to succeed in our endeavours.

Prayer :Thank you Father God because promotion does not come from the east or west, but from you. Today, have mercy on me and clothe me with your compassion. Let your oil of favor be upon me and speak to make way for me in difficult situations till I am made, in Jesus precious name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Season Of Praise.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Monday 6th November, 2023.

Topic: Season Of Praise.

Memory Verse: Psalm 113:5. No one can be compared to God, enthroned on high!

Bible Reading: Psalm 113:1-4 TPT. Key Verse: v4.

Praise the Lord! Go ahead, praise the Lord, all you loving servants of God! Keep it up! Praise him some more! For the glorious name of the Lord is blessed forever and ever. From sunrise brilliance to sunset beauty, lift up his praise from dawn to dusk! For he rules on high over the nations with a glory that outshines even the heavens.

Praise is a very important instrument of warfare that is always at the disposal the believer at no cost. Anytime we humble ourselves to observe all that God does for us freely, the battles he fights for us at individual, family, community, etc. levels, we will always have reason to give him the praise due to him as the true and God of the whole universe. “In his shelter in the day of trouble, that’s where you’ll find me, for he hides me there in his holiness. He has smuggled me into his secret place, where I’m kept safe and secure— out of reach from all my enemies. Triumphant now, I’ll bring him my offerings of praise, singing and shouting with ecstatic joy! Yes, listen and you can hear the fanfare of my shouts of praise to the Lord!” Psalm 27:5-6.

In this kingdom of light, we don’t praise God for only things he did for us in the past or things he is doing presently we also praise and thank him for things we believe that he will do. Whenever we praise God in advance, we express our confidence and faith in him in such given situations. “No one can be compared to God, enthroned on high! He stoops down to look upon the sky and the earth. He promotes the poor, picking them up from the dirt, and rescues the needy from the garbage dump. He turns paupers into princes and seats them on their royal thrones of honor.” Psalm 113:5-8.

If we can make this season a season of high praise to our God and King of the universe, he is going to do great and wonderful things in our individual and collective lives. Praises is one of the easiest way one can secure divine intervention, even in difficult times and situations. “Let’s exalt him on high and lift up our praises in public; let all the people and the leaders of the nation know how great and wonderful is Yahweh, our God! But he also can turn a barren wilderness into an oasis with water! He can make springs flow into desert lands and turn them into fertile valleys so that cities spring up, and he gives it all to those who are hungry. They can plant their fields and vineyards there and reap a bumper crop and gather a fruitful harvest.” Psalm 107:32,35-37.

Prayer :Thank you Father God because you always inhabit the praises of your people. As I lift up my voice to praise you this season, let your intervention, glory and blessing be seen in everything I do in Jesus precious name… Amen 🙏🏿.

Partaking In Divine Nature.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS

Tuesday 7th November, 2023.

Topic: Partaking In Divine Nature.

Memory Verse: 2 Peter 1:2. Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord,

Bible Reading:2 Peter 1:3-5 KJV. Key Verse: 4.

According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge;

Apostle Peter had a very rich and life transforming experience because of his contact with Christ Jesus and the attendant grace revealed through his life, which resulted in forgiveness of sin and men being gifted with salvation. He wants us make efforts to deepen our experience of this grace by relationship and fellowship. “I, Simon Peter, am a servant and apostle of Jesus Christ. I write this to you whose experience with God is as life-changing as ours, all due to our God’s straight dealing and the intervention of our God and Savior, Jesus Christ. Grace and peace to you many times over as you deepen in your experience with God and Jesus, our Master.” 2 Peter 1:1-2 MSG.

Now we have received grace and forgiveness so that we, can live the rest of our lives devoted to loving and serving him. This is made possible by the regulatory work of the Spirit of God, given to us freely to enable us access the depths of his mercies unhindered. “This is why the Scriptures say: Things never discovered or heard of before, things beyond our ability to imagine— these are the many things God has in store for all his lovers. But God now unveils these profound realities to us by the Spirit. Yes, he has revealed to us his inmost heart and deepest mysteries through the Holy Spirit, who constantly explores all things.” 1 Corinthians 2:9-10 TPT.

On a very important note, God’s will is that we be like him. He wants our lives to reflect whom he is in the real sense of it, as our father and source of life. That is the reason he gave us his Spirit. The Spirit of God is here to impart us with capacity to live victoriously like God himself in everything we do. This can only be possible when we are equipped with the right knowledge and walk in understanding. All this becomes a reality in our lives when we take time to discover the promises of God as contained in his written word and live by them. “And don’t for a minute let this Book of The Revelation be out of mind. Ponder and meditate on it day and night, making sure you practice everything written in it. Then you’ll get where you’re going; then you’ll succeed.” Joshua 1:8 MSG

Prayer : Thank you Father God for grace and the gift of salvation. Thank you for your word and Spirit. Help me to take advantage of your word to discover and live by your promises. Let your Spirit empower me to live like you always in Jesus blessed name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

God Of All Possibilities

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Sunday 5th November, 2023.

Topic: God Of All Possibilities.

Memory Verse:2 Kings 4:7. She went and told the story to the man of God. He said, “Go sell the oil and make good on your debts. Live, both you and your sons, on what’s left.”

Bible Reading: 2 Kings 4:1-3 MSG. Key Verse:v2.

One day the wife of a man from the guild of prophets called out to Elisha, “Your servant my husband is dead. You well know what a good man he was, devoted to God. And now the man to whom he was in debt is on his way to collect by taking my two children as slaves.” Elisha said, “I wonder how I can be of help. Tell me, what do you have in yourhouse?””Nothing,” she said. “Well, I do have a little oil.” “Here’s what you do,” said Elisha. “Go up and down the street and borrow jugs and bowls from all your neighbors. And not just a few—all you can get.

There’s something about our God that is always amazing. He will will always be faithful in the lives of those who serve him. This particular Prophet was no more and his creditor were after his wife and children. This creditor was out to either get his money or enforce a second option of enslaving the sons of the late Prophet. That would have been a double tragedy to the woman as a person; to loose the sons after suffering the loss of her husband. In her confussion, she ran tp the man of God for help. `I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth. He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber. Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.” Psalms 121:1-4 KJV.

Now, she was making every possible efforts to come out of debit and save her children from becoming slaves. God did answer her and went a step ahead to give her something to live on with her sons.”She did what he said. She locked the door behind her and her sons; as they brought the containers to her, she filled them. When all the jugs and bowls were full, she said to one of her sons, “Another jug, please.”He said, “That’s it. There are no more jugs.”Then the oil stopped. She went and told the story to the man of God. He said, “Go sell the oil and make good on your debts. Live, both you and your sons, on what’s left.” 2 Kings 4:5-7.

One of the lessons here is that God works for us when we take the right steps. She didn’t feel God had failed her no matter the situation, but still went to seek divine intervention by seeing man of God. We need to learn that God needed a contact point to release the blessing (what she had in her hand). Another lesson here is that at every stage in this particular miracle, the woman was sent to go and work (from borrowing to pouring, from pouring, she was asked to go and sell). “Here’s what you do,” said Elisha. “Go up and down the street and borrow jugs and bowls from all your neighbors. And not just a few—all you can get. Then come home and lock the door behind you, you and your sons. Pour oil into each container; when each is full, set it aside.” 2 Kings 4:3-4.

Prayer : Thank you Father God because you are the God of all possibilities. Thank you because you always care about me. Today I lay every heavy burden am carrying at your feet. Intervene and do what no man can do in my life in Jesus’s precious name…. Amen 🙏🏿.
