Enforcing God’s Will Over Nations.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Tuesday 5th December, 2023.

Topic: Enforcing God’s Will Over Nations.

Memory Verse : Jeremiah 29:13. And ye shall seek me, and find me when ye shall search for me with all your heart.

Bible Reading: Jeremiah 29:10-12. Key Verse: v29.

For thus saith the LORD, That after seventy years be accomplished at Babylon I will visit you, and perform my good word toward you, in causing you to return to this place. For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you.

Here Israel, the people of God was carried into the land of captivity in Babylon. They did not repent from their evil ways when God was warming them through Jeremiah the prophet. They rather did everything they could to frustrate the man of God and his assignment. They rather cummulated to themselves prophets who told them what they wanted to hear and not what God was saying. When the word of the Lord from the mouth of Jeremiah finally came to pass, some of them were thinking they will return in a short while. But the Lord in his love kept speaking, even in the land of captivity to let them understand his plan and purpose as not miss out in the blessing he had for them because of ignorance or misinformation.
“Build ye houses, and dwell in them; and plant gardens, and eat the fruit of them; Take ye wives, and beget sons and daughters; and take wives for your sons, and give your daughters to husbands, that they may bear sons and daughters; that ye may be increased there, and not diminished. And seek the peace of the city whither I have caused you to be carried away captives, and pray unto the LORD for it: for in the peace thereof shall ye have peace.” Jeremiah 29:5-7.

At that particular time, God’s will was that the captivity in Babylon will last for seventy years, before they will be free.
At the same time, in his loving-kindness he had prepared some blessing and favour in the foreign land which they needed to enjoy. All they needed was to key into God’s plan in that season and be blessed. “For thus saith the LORD, That after seventy years be accomplished at Babylon I will visit you, and perform my good word toward you, in causing you to return to this place. For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. And I will be found of you, saith the LORD: and I will turn away your captivity, and I will gather you from all the nations, and from all the places whither I have driven you, saith the LORD; and I will bring you again into the place whence I caused you to be carried away captive.” Jeremiah 29:10-11,14.

Even today, as believers, we need to understand God’s plan for our nations, especially where the Lord has planted us, so that we can flow with him. When we have understanding, we will be able not only to key in, but also enforce such divine purpose when they come under the attack of enemy forces. Following history and prophecy, Daniel understood that it was time for the captivity to be over in Babylon and began to pray and fast to enforce the will of God for his people. “In the first year of his reign I Daniel understood by books the number of the years, whereof the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah the prophet, that he would accomplish seventy years in the desolations of Jerusalem. And I set my face unto the Lord God, to seek by prayer and supplications, with fasting, and sackcloth, and ashes:” Daniel 9:2-3. The kingdom of God needs men like Daniel in our days and you can be one.

Prayer : Thank you for father God because you are a God of divine purpose and timing. Today open me up to understand your plan for my nation or where you have planted me, so that I key in and be blessed. Like Daniel use me to enforce your will for my territory and nation in Jesus wonderful name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Becoming Like Jesus.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Monday 4th December, 2023.

Topic: Becoming Like Jesus.

Memory Verse: Colossians 3:15. And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.

Bible Reading: Colossians 3:12-14. Key Verse: v13.

Put on, therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering;

For bearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man quarrel with any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye. And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness.

The call to follow Jesus Christ is a call to be like him. Through the word, we can know who he is and what it takes to be just like himself. All that we see here in verse 12 are the attributes of a Spirit-controlled life. Jesus Christ is a merciful God or God revealed in mercy. Because of his mercy, he can forgive our sins and his grace becomes real to us or in our individual lives. Through the platform of grace, the benefits of sonship are made available to us. Because he is rich in kindness, he keeps blessing us daily. In humility, he is our role model. Though he is God, he humbled himself and came to the earth in the form of a man, was born in a humble environment and into a humble home where he grew up like every other child and submitted himself to be killed like a common criminal to save mankind.

Like Jesus, we must die to the world and our flesh to be able to live by his Spirit. No man can walk in meekness or be very patient with others, even in the midst of offense or provocation without the help of the Holy Spirit at work in him. This is all about a life of sacrifices here and there for the sake of others and the kingdom. We are to forgive others just the way Jesus Christ forgave us as his children. All this can only be practicable in our lives when we have a hunger for things that are above and seek them with all our hearts. The level of hunger you have for anything in life will determine the kind of price you will be willing to pay to have it. “Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.”
Colossians 3:2-4.

Walking in love just like Christ himself is key to a life of peace and joy. Love is a very important dimension in Christianity because that is where the real nature of God is revealed for all to see. In his love, he takes care of all he care of all he created without discriminating, even when some of us rebel against his commands. “Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.” 1 John 4:7-9,11.

Prayer :Thank you Father God for giving me Jesus Christ. Lord Jesus I appreciate your love for me and all you did for me. Help me by your Spirit to be like you in practical life. Let my life be such that can really project you in Jesus precious name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Neglect Not Fellowship.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Sunday 3rd December 2023.

Topic: Neglect Not Fellowship.

Memory Verse: Hebrews 10:23. So now we must cling tightly to the hope that lives within us, knowing that God always keeps his promises!

Bible Reading: Hebrews 10:24-25 TPT. Key Verse: v25.

Discover creative ways to encourage others and to motivate them toward acts of compassion, doing beautiful works as expressions of love. This is not the time to pull away and neglect meeting together, as some have formed the habit of doing, because we need each other! In fact, we should come together even more frequently, eager to encourage and urge each other onward as we anticipate that day dawning.

Jesus Christ ushered us into a new and living way of relationship with our maker through his most efficient sacrifice. Not only that, he restored us to the place of fellowship with God our Father and source and with fellow believers. Relationship and fellowship was the major things affected by the fall in Genesis chapter 3. Man was sent away not just from physical Eden, in the spirit, the relationship and fellowship he used to have with God was terribly affected, which became the death. “So God expelled them from the Garden of Eden and sent them to work the ground, the same dirt out of which they’d been made. He threw them out of the garden and stationed angel-cherubim and a revolving sword of fire east of it, guarding the path to the Tree-of-Life.” Genesis 3:23-24 MSG.

At salvation, we were bought back by the shed blood that covers sins, we were restored to the relate with God without hindrances anymore and to function in the place of fellowship with the Father again and his heavenly hosts. We now live in God’s presence spiritually, when we are able to service this relationship regularly in our privacy while alone with God and in the public space by a lifestyle of fellowship with fellow brethren.

On a very important note, the place of fellowship is designed by God as a medium to reach out to new testament believers. This is type of pool of Bethesda, where the Spirit of God works maximally to meet the needs of his people. In the place of fellowship, the Spirit takes advantage of the pool of gifts available among us to bless others. It is the right place where men are built up in order to become whom God wants them to be in this life. The more we fellowship, the more we are being built up, encouraged and enriched by others. “And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.” Colossians 3:15-17 KKV.

Prayer: Thank you Father God for restoring me to a place of fellowship with you. Thank you for coming down to my level to lift me into your presence. Anytime I appear in your presence, do great and mighty transformational works in my life in Jesus’ wonderful name… Amen 🙏🏿.

Prayer Works

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Saturday 2nd December, 2023.

Topic: Prayer Works.

Memory Verse: Esther 4:13. Mordecai sent her this message: “Don’t think that just because you live in the king’s house you’re the one Jew who will get out of this alive.

Bible Reading: Esther 4:15-17 MSG. Key Verse: v16.

Esther sent back her answer to Mordecai: “Go and get all the Jews living in Susa together. Fast for me. Don’t eat or drink for three days, either day or night. I and my maids will fast with you. If you will do this, I’ll go to the king, even though it’s forbidden. If I die, I die.” Mordecai left and carried out Esther’s instructions.

Mordecai refused to bow to Haman at the gate according to the commands of king Xerxes who had promoted him above all his serants at that point in time in history. Now Mordecai’s refusal to bow to Haman even after much pressure from the people with him at the gate was borne out of his fear of God and his desire to obey the commands of God instead of that of men which runs contrary to that of God, even when it exposed him to danger. Now instead of Hamam facing Mordecai’, he wrath was kindked against all the Jews, because he learnt that Mordecai’s refusal to bow to him was because of their Jewish culture and commands of their God, which he was observing instead. Now, Haman had succeeded in getting the king to approve his evil decree and a day was set apart and being circulated in the media of those days within the entire territory governed by the king, when their entire Jewish population should be annihilated.

Mordecai’s reaction got the attention of queen Esther who sent messengers to find out the reason he was mourning and in sackcloth at the gate. “So Hathach went to Mordecai in the town square in front of the King’s Gate. Mordecai told him everything that had happened to him. He also told him the exact amount of money that Haman had promised to deposit in the royal bank to finance the massacre of the Jews.”Esther 4:6-7. Mordecai sought the queen’s intervention which wasn’t easy as it wasn’t time for her to appear before the King. She waa aware that anyone who appears before the king unauthorised was liable to death his/her status notwithstanding. Now, she solicited for prayer backing with fasting from all the Jews so that she could risk her life to appear before the King unauthorised.

After they completed the prayers and fasting, Esther appeared before the King and was most welcome. “When he noticed Queen Esther standing in the court, he was pleased to see her; the king extended the gold scepter in his hand. Esther approached and touched the tip of the scepter. The king asked, “And what’s your desire, Queen Esther? What do you want? Ask and it’s yours—even if it’s half my kingdom!” “If it please the king,” said Esther, “let the king come with Haman to a dinner I’ve prepared for him.” Esther 5:2-4. This marked the beginning of the victory of Esther and the Jews over Haman and their enemies. When everthing else fails, try prayer with fasting.

Prayer : Thank you Father God because you are a prayer answering God.. Thank you because as I seek your face this season over every uncomfortable and difficult situation in my life, you will give me a testimony and make a name for yourself in my life, in Jesus wonderful name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Redeemed And Restored

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Friday 1st December, 2023.

Topic: Redeemed And Restored.

Memory Verse: Revelation 5:5. One of the Elders said, “Don’t weep. Look—the Lion from Tribe Judah, the Root of David’s Tree, has conquered. He can open the scroll, can rip through the seven seals.”

Bible Reading :Revelation 5:1-3 MSG. Key Verse: v9.

I saw a scroll in the right hand of the One Seated on the Throne. It was written on both sides, fastened with seven seals. I also saw a powerful Angel, calling out in a voice like thunder, “Is there anyone who can open the scroll, who can break its seals?” There was no one—no one in Heaven, no one on earth, no one from the underworld—able to break open the scroll and read it.

The plan of redemption was so important and dear to God that it could not be compromised, because it has to do with the eternal destiny of men. Nobody was qualified to run it in the heavens and on earth till the lion of the tribe of Judah appeared on the scene. John wept over the helplessness of the situation, but found comfort in the appearance of the lion of the tribe of Judah. Though he was and is still the real conquering lion, he decided to take the form of a harmless and helpless lamb, so thst he could die to atone for the sin of mankind. “The moment he took the scroll, the Four Animals and Twenty-four Elders fell down and worshiped the Lamb. Each had a harp and each had a bowl, a gold bowl filled with incense, the prayers of God’s holy people. And they sang a new song: Worthy! Take the scroll, open its seals. Slain! Paying in blood, you bought men and women, Bought them back from all over the earth, Bought them back for God.” Revelation 5:8-9.

The implication of what Jesus has done for us now is that we stand ransomed and redeemed. Our sins has been paid for, only if we believe in him, Romans 10:10. This great sacrifice he made with his blood qualifies all who believes in him to operate here on earth in this life as kings and priests of the most high God. As priests of the most high, we are able to approach the presence of God through the shed blood of Jesus at any point in time and get results. Anf as kings, we bear rule on behalf of the master anywhere we find ourselves under the surface of the earth. This kingship is a spiritual one, whereby we are able to control things in the the spirit realm by the Spirit of God and through our prayers. Because we are kings, Christ boldly told us to occpy or be in charge till he returns. “And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.”
Revelation 5:10 KJV.

“I looked again. I heard a company of Angels around the Throne, the Animals, and the Elders—ten thousand times ten thousand their number, thousand after thousand after thousand in full song: The slain Lamb is worthy! Take the power, the wealth, the wisdom, the strength! Take the honor, the glory, the blessing!” Revelation 5:11-12. Now, we need to understand that Jesus is God, therefore there was never a time he lacked power, wisdom, strength, wealth or riches, honour, etc. What he received or took here was on behalf of those he died for. He fought rather on behalf of fallen man to restore all the things we lost at the fall. Now we have a duty to make sure that we live in the reality of all Christ paid for with his blood.

Prayer :Thank you Father God for giving me Jesus to die for my sins. Thank you Jesus for redeeming my soul from destruction. From today, let everything you recovered on my behalf at redemption be seen in practical terms in my life in all I do in Jesus precious name… Amen 🙏🏿.

Restorer Of Lost Hope.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Thursday 30th November, 2023.

Topic: Restorer Of Lost Hope.

Memory Verse: Luke 7:14. Then he went over and touched the coffin. The pallbearers stopped. He said, “Young man, I tell you: Get up.”

Bible Reading: Luke 7:15-17 MSG. Key Verse: v15.

The dead son sat up and began talking. Jesus presented him to his mother. They all realized they were in a place of holy mystery, that God was at work among them. They were quietly worshipful—and then noisily grateful, calling out among themselves, “God is back, looking to the needs of his people!” The news of Jesus spread all through the country.

There are many gains in having Jesus as your companion and friend in life. Every encounter men had with him or will ever have with him in the course of their journey in life rubs off positively on such individuals. This time Jesus Christ, who is a life-giving Spirit was entering a city called nain and because he was the most popular person who ever lived, much crowd followed him. Suddenly they ran into a burial procession of a young man who was everything her mother had left in life, as his dad was already dead and gone. So this young man was at the center of the heart of his mum. And now the cold hands of death came suddenly and took him away. The comfort of men this time could not go anywhere as she watched helplessly as undertakers bore the coffin of her only son to the place of interment. Her cry was bitter and heart-wrenching.

When Jesus Christ met this people and woman, he quickly understood what she was going through and saw the need to come to her rescue because he is a caring God. “As they approached the village gate, they met a funeral procession—a woman’s only son was being carried out for burial. And the mother was a widow. When Jesus saw her, his heart broke. He said to her, “Don’t cry.” Then he went over and touched the coffin. The pallbearers stopped. He said, “Young man, I tell you: Get up.” Luke 7:12-14.

Today this same Jesus is here now through this medium to wipe away tears from the eyes of as many as will believe him. It doesn’t matter how long the bitter situation had lingered, it doesn’t matter how terrible or seemingly impossible your situation may look, if only you can see and trust Jesus now, you will have a miracle. “Jesus looked her in the eye. “Didn’t I tell you that if you believed, you would see the glory of God?” Then, to the others, “Go ahead, take away the stone.” They removed the stone. Jesus raised his eyes to heaven and prayed, “Father, I’m grateful that you have listened to me. I know you always do listen, but on account of this crowd standing here I’ve spoken so that they might believe that you sent me.” Then he shouted, “Lazarus, come out!” And he came out, a cadaver, wrapped from head to toe, and with a kerchief over his face. Jesus told them, “Unwrap him and let him loose.” John 11:40-44.

Prayer:: Thank you Lord Jesus for being a loving and caring saviour. Thank you because what you did for one, you will always do for another. My eyes are fixed on you. Today by the power that makes you God, let every good things the enemy destroyed in my life be restored in Jesus wonderful name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Accessing Your Inheritance By Faith

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Wednesday 29th November, 2023.

Topic: Accessing Your Inheritance By Faith.

Memory Verse: Ephesians 3:10. To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God,

Bible Reading: Ephesians 3:4-6. Key Verse: v6.

Whereby, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ) Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit; That the Gentiles should be fellowheirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel:

The greatest gift of God to mankind is Jesus Christ his son and saviour of the universe. He is God’s gift of love to mankind. In other words, his coming to the earth in the flesh and the work of salvation and restoration he did for ordinary men is the sure proof of the value God placed on man whom he created and the love he has towards us. “And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” John 3:14-16.

Now, we that believe have become joint heirs of God with Christ Jesus. This means that by grace, we now have unfettered access to God the Father. As members of the family of God, all the power, glory, honour, riches, blessing, etc are ours to use and have a good life on earth. “that God has and which was made available to Jesus Christ himself belongs to us. He had to die for these blessing to be real in our own lives in full force. Like a will that takes effect when someone dies, the new covenant was put into action at Jesus’ death. His death marked the transition from the old plan to the new one, canceling the old obligations and accompanying sins, and summoning the heirs to receive the eternal inheritance that was promised them. He brought together God and his people in this new way. … Even the first plan required a death to set it in motion.” Hebrews 9:16,18 MSG.

These divine riches and blessings we have in Christ Jesus are in promises and therefore can only be accessed by faith. “Delivering thee from the people, and from the Gentiles, unto whom now I send thee, To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me . Whereupon, O king Agrippa, I was not disobedient unto the heavenly vision:” Acts 26:17-19. Men of faith are different kind of men because they don’t live ordinary lives like every other man. Their own cases are always different. Numbers 14:6-9, Hebrews 11:6-12.

Prayer : Thank you Father God for giving me Jesus to die to redeem me. Thank you because I am now a member of your family and joint heir with Christ. Help me by your Spirit to live by faith as to access all that Christ died that I may receive in Jesus wonderful name….. Amen 🙏🏿.

Beware Of Unbelief.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Tuesday 28th November, 2023.

Topic: Beware Of Unbelief.

Memory Verse: Hebrews 3:14. If we can only keep our grip on the sure thing we started with, we’re in this with Christ for the long haul.

Bible Reading: Hebrews 3:12-14 MSG. Key Verse: v12.

So watch your step, friends. Make sure there’s no evil unbelief lying around that will trip you up and throw you off course, diverting you from the living God. For as long as it’s still God’s Today, keep each other on your toes so sin doesn’t slow down your reflexes. If we can only keep our grip on the sure thing we started out with, we’re in this with Christ for the long haul.

As believers, we all received a higher life or heveanly calling from God our creator. It pleased him to reconcile us to himself from our sins through his son Jesus Christ, who is above all in everything. The call of God is unto fellowship and service from a heart of love and gratitude. Now God desires that we learn from the experience of the Israelites under the leadership of Moses who tasted a type of what we presently enjoy. These people were in rigorous bondage in Egypt, but God raised Moses and delivered them. They began a journey to Canaan, a place of fulfillment and rest. Most of these men that began the journey to Canaan could not make it to the final destination, simply because they could not believe God despite being witnesses to his mighty acts, power and deliverance.

One of the reasons many Israelites failed was because they didn’t understand what they were into and many of them refused to be taught. They thought the journey will be a dash, but God had reasons not to lead them through the short-cut they preferred. They looked for the every little opportunity to disobey divine instructions. Before Moses could spend fourty days and fourty nights on the mount, they had already compelled Aaron to mould a golden calf for them to worship, against the commands of the Lord. They broke the heart of Moses through their rebellion and cost him Canaan. Because they laboured under the wrath of God, the journey of 40 days lasted for 40 years instead, till the anger of God consumed the rebellious.

Today we need to look carefully at our personal calling and walk with God. We must make sure that we don’t repeat the mistakes of our Israelite brothers. Many are full of complaints today when the Lord said that in everything, we should give thanks. Many people are in a hurry to do it their own way when God wants us to patiently wait and take instructions from him. Some believe God is taking much time in working things out and are contemplating on how to give themselves speed. There are some who are not satisfied with whom God made them, rhat want to be someone else. They forgot that Godliness with contentment is great gain. We must depart from every paths of sin and unbelief against God, if we must enter the fulness of his plan for our lives.

Prayer :Thank you Father God for considering me fit to be called to serve you. Forgive me in anyway I have missed it in the past. I repent today in any way I complained or doubted you. Help me to run in a manner that I enter my rest according to your will in Jesus precious name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Operating The Mind Of Christ.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Monday 27th November, 2023.

Topic: Operating The Mind Of Christ.

Memory Verse: Philippians 2:8. He humbled himself and became vulnerable, choosing to be revealed as a man and was obedient. He was a perfect example, even in his death—a criminal’s death by crucifixion!

Bible Reading: Philippians 2:5-7 TPT. Key Verse: v5.

And consider the example that Jesus, the Anointed One, has set before us. Let his mindset become your motivation. He existed in the form of God, yet he gave no thought to seizing equality with God as his supreme prize. Instead he emptied himself of his outward glory by reducing himself to the form of a lowly servant. He became human!

We are not yet perfect men, but we have to keep working on ourselves to make sure that we keep making progress towards perfection. Jesus Christ is our perfect master and role model. Daily we have to keep looking at his life juxtaposing our own individual lives with his to see areas we need to keep making ammend as to be better followers. By the mirror of the word, we can always see our flaws and if we are ready to make necessary changes, his Spirit will always be there to help us. The transformational grace available in him is what helps ordinary men become sons of the most high indeed. “He came unto his own, and his own received him not. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.” John 1:11-13 KJV.

One very important lesson Christ taught us by word and through his personal life as his followers is to live selfless. One of the reasons there is trouble in many homes, families, businesses, localities and nations today is because of the selfishness and greed of men. Corruption, any other vices and wickedness destroying the fabrics of families, societies and nations today is a bye product of the self centered life many are living in our days. Men are only concerned about what they intend to gain in any given situation, without taking into consideration the well being of orhers around them. Such spirit and mentality is from hell and therefore destructive. “Be free from pride-filled opinions, for they will only harm your cherished unity. Don’t allow self-promotion to hide in your hearts, but in authentic humility put others first and view others as more important than yourselves. Abandon every display of selfishness. Possess a greater concern for what matters to others instead of your own interests.” Philippians 2:3-4.

Today we need to be hungry to have and operate the mind of Christ as his children. We just have to be like Jesus in everything. We need to see things the way he sees them, behave the way he behaved as a man, respond to issues the way he does. This can only be possible when we have a hunger to fellowship with his Spirit as to develop a daily walk with him. The mind of Christ at work in us will help us have right judgement in everything we do. When we operate in humility and in total submission to the will of the father just like him, our lifting and promotion in life becomes easy. “And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;” Philippians 2:8-10. KJV.

Being Grateful To God

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Sunday 26th November, 2023.

Topic: Being Grateful To God.

Memory Verse:2 Samuel 22:50. Therefore I will give thanks unto thee, O LORD, among the heathen, and I will sing praises unto thy name.

Bible Reading:2 Samuel 22:47-49. Key Verse: v48.

The LORD liveth; and blessed be my rock; and exalted be the God of the rock of my salvation. It is God that avengeth me, and that bringeth down the people under me, And that bringeth me forth from mine enemies: thou also hast lifted me up on high above them that rose up against me: thou hast delivered me from the violent man.

Genuine thanksgiving comes from a heart of gratitude for the goodness of God in our lives. It takes a man who realised that without God his personal efforts would have yielded nothing to give God glory for his protection, preservation and daily provisions. David knew that it was God who saw him through difficult times. David’s heart of love and gratitude to God was second to none. He never forgot how God raised him from nobody in his father’s house to become the most sought after, when it was least expected. From a nobody, God gave him fame and made him a national hero after he killed Goliath. When he lived in caves and other abnormal places trying to escape the wraith of King Saul, God was there for him. God did not at any point in time allow him to fall into the hands of his enemies or be destroyed according to their desires.

“I will call on the LORD, who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies. When the waves of death compassed me, the floods of ungodly men made me afraid; The sorrows of hell compassed me about; the snares of death prevented me; In my distress I called upon the LORD, and cried to my God: and he did hear my voice out of his temple, and my cry did enter into his ears. Then the earth shook and trembled; the foundations of heaven moved and shook, because he was wroth.
There went up a smoke out of his nostrils, and fire out of his mouth devoured: coals were kindled by it. He bowed the heavens also, and came down; and darkness was under his feet.” 2 Samuel 22:4-10.

Today, you need look back and remember God’s goodness over your life. You need to raise your voice to acknowledge his goodness in your own life, family and business or career. Don’t be like the man that had a successful year in his farming business and was seeing himself in everything that happened and had no room for God, and his life was cut short. Some people may think God did nothing this year for them simply because they were unable to hit their target, they forgot others who did better by human standards, who are no more because they succumbed to the cold hands of death, some of them in unimaginable circumstances. When we thank God and praise him from a genuine heart, we qualify for more of his provisions, protection, preservative grace and promotion in life.

Prayer : Father God, today I have come to worship and give you thanks for everything you have done in my life, family, business and career life. Thank you for every battles you have won for me. Thank you for not allowing my enemies to have their way. Thank you for every good things you are bringing my way in Jesus precious name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Yearly Bible Reading :1 Corinthians 15:42-58.
