Prevailing By The Word.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Monday July 22nd, 2024.

Topic : Prevailing By The Word.

Memory Verse :‭1 Corinthians 2:4. My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit’s power,

Bible Reading : ‭2 Corinthians 4:3-5 NIV‬. Key Verse: v5.

And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing. The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. For what we preach is not ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, and ourselves as your servants for Jesus’ sake.

Everything that God intends to do for man he decided to package in his son Jesus Christ who is the word made manifest in the flesh. When man couldn’t stand on his feet after creation, God saw a need to change his strategy in his dealings with man. He had come to man by himself through his son in order to help man out of his mess. Any man that must receive anything worthwhile from God in this dispensation therefore must follow God’s prescribed approach. Any man who needs to receive from God must come through Jesus Christ in order to enjoy express divine attention. “For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. For it is written: “I will destroy the wisdom of the wise; the intelligence of the intelligent I will frustrate.” Where is the wise person? Where is the teacher of the law? Where is the philosopher of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of the world? For since in the wisdom of God the world through its wisdom did not know him, God was pleased through the foolishness of what was preached to save those who believe.” 1 Corinthians 1:18-21.

One of the reasons people linger in their problems for too long is because they are not willing to follow Jesus Christ in order to be made. They just want to solve their problems and continue their lives the way themselves wants without being careful about what Christ himself wants in their lives. They desire to have it from God on their own terms and not the terms of the giver. Some challenges of life are permitted by God to let us see our limitations as men so that we can draw nearer to God and lean on his strength for him to see us through. Anyone whose heart is not totally open to the gospel truth therefore cannot receive much from the Lord. The Spirit is able to work out solutions and answers in the lives of men to the extent they open their heart to the message of the cross. “I came to you in weakness with great fear and trembling. My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit’s power,” 1 Corinthians 2:3-4.

Today we have to learn to always open our hearts to receive the gospel truth. Everything we need from God is packaged in his word. As we expose ourselves to the ministry of the word of God constantly, the Lord will be doing great things in our lives by the power in his word. I heard a man of God warn that it’s dangerous to follow men who can manifest power without the word or message of the cross, and I want to agree with him because there are many sources to power as we can see today. As you stay on the word, you will wake up to discover that those things that looked difficult and seemingly impossible becomes easy and the challenges around you are nowhere to be found. On a final note, I must not forget to tell you that one thing that makes the word most effective in your life and mouth is obedience
““Is not my word like fire,” declares the Lord, “and like a hammer that breaks a rock in pieces?”

Jeremiah 23:29.

Prayer : Thank you Father God for the power in your word. Help me to stay on your word and to obey them always. By the power in your word, let my life be fllled with your interventions and glory daily in Jesus wonderful name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Prevailing Over The Enemy.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Sunday July 21st, 2024.

Topic : Prevailing Over The Enemy.

Memory Verse :‭Romans 8:37. No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. NIV

Bible Reading :Ephesians 6:10-11 TPT. Key Verse: v10.

Now my beloved ones, I have saved these most important truths for last: Be supernaturally infused with strength through your life-union with the Lord Jesus. Stand victorious with the force of his explosive power flowing in and through you. Put on God’s complete set of armor provided for us, so that you will be protected as you fight against the evil strategies of the accuser!

One of the reasons we need to pay attention to and build up our spiritual lives is to be able to overcome in the battles we face daily in the course of life endeavours. This battles are not with ordinary men, but with very organises hordes of darkness. Truth is that no man has what it takes to conquer the devil on his own. God knowing all things therefore has given us his strength to use in this regard. That is the reason Apostle Paul had to point out to us that we have what it takes to face and overcome the enemy only when we approach the enemy on the strength of our union with Christ Jesus. This union makes available to us divine power or ability and wisdom that the enemy cannot match. Because the enemy is very intentional and strategic in his approach, it takes only the wisdom of God to defeat him. “Your hand-to-hand combat is not with human beings, but with the highest principalities and authorities operating in rebellion under the heavenly realms. For they are a powerful class of demon-gods and evil spirits that hold this dark world in bondage.” Ephesians 6:12.

This confrontation is real weather we know about it or not. Men easily become victims when they choose to live in self denial. The spirits involved are rebels who have nothing to loose. They know that themselves are doomed already and therefore have nothing to loose anymore. They fight like spoilers which makes them more deadly and wicked. To face and overcome them therefore, we need to follow the prescriptions of the Spirit of God who provides us with superior strategies that neutralises whatever the enemy think he has in stock. “Because of this, you must wear all the armor that God provides so you’re protected as you confront the slanderer, for you are destined for all things and will rise victorious. Put on truth as a belt to strengthen you to stand in triumph. Put on holiness as the protective armor that covers your heart. Stand on your feet alert, then you’ll always be ready to share the blessings of peace. In every battle, take faith as your wrap-around shield, for it is able to extinguish the blazing arrows coming at you from the Evil One!” Ephesians 6:13-16.

“Embrace the power of salvation’s full deliverance, like a helmet to protect your thoughts from lies. And take the mighty razor-sharp Spirit-sword of the spoken Word of God. Pray passionately in the Spirit, as you constantly intercede with every form of prayer at all times. Pray the blessings of God upon all his believers. And pray also that God’s revelation would be released through me every time I preach the wonderful mystery of the hope-filled gospel.” Ephesians 6:17-19. All the weapons we are asked to muster or arm ourselves with are bound together by prayer. This means that prayer is what makes them effective and functional. In v20, he made it very clear that the enemy desires is to hinder the free flow of the gospel. The reason he does that is because he is aware that therein lies the salvation of mankind from his evil control. “Yes, pray that I may preach the wonderful news of God’s kingdom with bold freedom at every opportunity. Even though I am chained as a prisoner, I am his ambassador.” Ephesians 6:20.

Prayer :Thank you Lord Jesus because you are the head of principalities and powers. Thank you because no power of darkness can overcome a man who lives in union with you. Help me to always follow the strategies of your Spirit to live in perpetual victory all my days in Jesus wonderful name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Be A Soul Winner

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Saturday July 20th, 2024.

Topic : Be A Soul Winner.

Memory Verse : ‭Luke 19:1. For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.” NIV.

The Passion Translation Luke 15:4-6 TPT. Key Verse : v4.

“There once was a shepherd with a hundred lambs, but one of his lambs wandered away and was lost. So the shepherd left the ninety-nine lambs out in the open field and searched in the wilderness for that one lost lamb. He didn’t stop until he finally found it. With exuberant joy he raised it up and placed it on his shoulders, carrying it back with cheerful delight! Returning home, he called all his friends and neighbors together and said, ‘Let’s have a party! Come and celebrate with me the return of my lost lamb. It wandered away, but I found it and brought it home.’”

Jesus was God, but came down voluntarily to the earth as a man for this primary purpose of seeking lost men and restoring them to himself. The people who witnessed his days on earth knew he was from God, but they had issues with the way he mingled with sinners. They thought he shouldn’t expose himself to certain people especially sinners. They became uncomfortable the way he embraced and related with them. Because they complained among themselves, he made efforts to let them understand the importance God attached to the soul of every single sinner. He used some parable to explain his stand with the sinners. ‭”“Suppose one of you has a hundred sheep and loses one of them. Doesn’t he leave the ninety-nine in the open country and go after the lost sheep until he finds it?” Luke 15:4 NIV‬.

Many people don’t understand the value God placed on their soul. Jesus here likened God to a shepherd who had a hundred sheep, but one got lost probably by straying in the wilderness where were pastured. The shephered had to keep the remaining 99 in safe custody so that he could find the one that strayed away. He didn’t return till he found the missing sheep. When he had found the lost sheep, he returned with joy to celebrate the one recovered sheep with his friends and loved ones. ‭”And when he finds it, he joyfully puts it on his shoulders and goes home. Then he calls his friends and neighbors together and says, ‘Rejoice with me; I have found my lost sheep.’ I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent.” Luke 15:5-7 NIV‬.

Today there lost souls around you and all over the places Jesus intends to reach. He intends to search them out wherever the enemy had taken them to. Jesus is present here on earth physically through our humble selves. There are numerous people who are lost in sin that the Lord intends to use us and reach out to, as his own body. “But how can people call on him for help if they’ve not yet believed? And how can they believe in one they’ve not yet heard of? And how can they hear the message of life if there is no one there to proclaim it? And how can the message be proclaimed if messengers have yet to be sent? That’s why the Scriptures say: How welcome is the arrival of those proclaiming the joyful news of peace and of good things to come!” Romans 10:14-15. Make sure you share the love of God that made Jesus die to save us with someone today. Remember that wise men engage in soul winning activities.

Prayer :Thank you Lord Jesus for saving me so that you can use me to reach out to others. Use me to reach out to the lost as you will and as I make myself available to be used. Thank you Lord Jesus for restoring lost men to yourself through my humble efforts in Jesus precious name… Amen 🙏🏿.

Humility And Grace.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Friday July 19th, 2024.

Topic : Humility And Grace.

Memory Verse : James 4:10 Be willing to be made low before the Lord and he will exalt you!

Bible Reading : James 4:6-8. Key Verse : v6.

But he continues to pour out more and more grace upon us. For it says, God resists you when you are proud but continually pours out grace when you are humble.” So then, surrender to God. Stand up to the devil and resist him and he will turn and run away from you. Move your heart closer and closer to God, and he will come even closer to you. But make sure you cleanse your life, you sinners, and keep your heart pure and stop doubting.

Humility is a very important Christian virtue that we learn from the life of Jesus Christ himself. When one is humble, it means that such an individual is not proud, but lives a modest lifestyle and doesn’t overate him/herself. When we are humble, we become considerate, teachable, approachable. Humble men live to impact others through service, sacrices of time and resources, etc. Humility is not low esteem, but a good understanding of our limitations as humans and seeing a reason to carry others along our placements notwithstanding. Jesus displayed humility from the point of coming down to live on earth as a man the fact that he is God and creator notwithstanding. He lived among men in weakness, though he had divine power to do whatever he wanted per time, yet he willingly submitted to the will of the father. His life looked so simple that it took Judas hugging and kissing him among the disciples for those who came to arrest him to identify him. ‭”In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus: Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage;” Philippians 2:5-6 NIV‬.

Now everything we do with God through Jesus in his kingdom is by grace. Grace is God’s investment in man made possible by the sacrifice of Jesus himself. Now v6 of our main text is saying that the more we are able to humble ourselves before God, the more he is able to invest more of his grace in our lives. The more grace we enjoy from his presence, the better our lives becomes here on earth. This is because humility makes us more accessible to God and men which helps us become impactful as a result of being yielded to God and willing to be used as channels to fulfill his purpose, even in the lives of others here on earth. ““I am a true sprouting vine, and the farmer who tends the vine is my Father. He cares for the branches connected to me by lifting and propping up the fruitless branches and pruning every fruitful branch to yield a greater harvest.” John 15:1-2.

The more we move closer to God, the more he is able to expose our weaknesses and those things that hinders the flow of his Spirit in our lives who is the carrier of grace in us. We have to willingly allow his Spirit to work on us to eliminate those things that doesn’t glorify God in our lives which is key to our lifting to a place higher kingdom responsibility. “Move your heart closer and closer to God, and he will come even closer to you. But make sure you cleanse your life, you sinners, and keep your heart pure and stop doubting. Feel the pain of your sin, be sorrowful and weep! Let your joking around be turned into mourning and your joy into deep humiliation. Be willing to be made low before the Lord and he will exalt you!” James 4:8-10.

Prayer : Thank you Father God for loving and saving my soul. Help me to walk before you in humility all the days of my life so that you can invest greater grace in my life. Let your Spirit expose and help me to do away with anything that will hinder the flow of your grace in my life in Jesus precious name… Amen 🙏🏿.

Follow Him To Be Made.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Thursday July 18th, 2024.

Topic :Follow Him To Be Made.

Memory Verse :‭Luke 9:59. He said to another man, “Follow me.” But he replied, “Lord, first let me go and bury my father.”

Bible Reading : Luke 9:60-62 NIV‬. Key Verse :v62

Jesus said to him, “Let the dead bury their own dead, but you go and proclaim the kingdom of God.” Still another said, “I will follow you, Lord; but first let me go back and say goodbye to my family.” Jesus replied, “No one who puts a hand to the plow and looks back is fit for service in the kingdom of God.”

At the beginning of the unfolding of this particular incident in the Bible, Jesus was walking along the way when someone came to him and voluntarily offered to follow him. But the man was there for the wrong reasons. There was no genuine intention to serve deep down inside him. He rather wanted to take advantage of Jesus life, personality and ministry to advance his personal interests. Jesus being God and therefore knowing all things turned him down. “As they were walking along the road, a man said to him, “I will follow you wherever you go.”Jesus replied, “Foxes have dens and birds have nests, but the Son of Man has no place to lay his head.”” Luke 9:57-58.

After that, they saw two other men whom Jesus had interest to work with closely in his earthly ministry. He therefore extended a call to them, so that they could follow him. The first excused himself because he wanted to pay a last respect to his own dead close one. But Jesus responding asked him to allow the dead to bury themselves. When he extend same call to service to another, that second individual sought permission again to go and say goodbye to his family and loved ones, then return to obey him. Jesus made him understand that in the kingdom, once you get involved, there’s no going back to settle any previous or hanging commitments anywhere. ““All these I have kept,” the young man said. “What do I still lack?” Jesus answered, “If you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.”When the young man heard this, he went away sad, because he had great wealth.” Matthew 19:20-22.

“And Jesus, walking by the sea of Galilee, saw two brethren, Simon called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea: for they were fishers. And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men. And they straightway left their nets, and followed him .” Matthew 4:18-20 KJV. Today we need to understand that there are many blesings in following Jesus Christ because some men are still giving him excuses. This they do because they lack understanding of what men stand to gain when they make sacrifices in order to follow the master. Now one important reason for which Jesus asks ordinary men like us to follow him is so that he can make us. Apart from giving us eternal life, there are things he wants to do in our lives, there are heights he wants to take us to in this life which we can’t attain on our own. That’s just one of the numerous gains in following the master. “God chose the lowly things of this world and the despised things—and the things that are not—to nullify the things that are, so that no one may boast before him.” 1 Corinthians 1:28-29.

Prayer : Thank you Lord Jesus for extending your call to me to follow you, so that you can make me. As I obey and follow unconditionally, let my life be a testimony that will attract others to you in Jesus wonderful name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

The Kingdom Edge.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Wednesday July 17th, 2024.

Topic : The Kingdom Edge.

Memory Verse : ‭Matthew 6:31. So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’

Bible Reading : ‭Matthew 6:28-30 NIV‬. Key Verse : v3.

“And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you—you of little faith?

When we believe in Jesus, we become covenant people. We live our lives not based on circumstances of life but by what God says about us. At this point, whatever we can do or will be able to achieve in life will depend heavily on how we respond to God who is the source of all things that men live to pursue. God created man to be creative in order to recreate his world using resources made available to him by the creator himself. To that extent, he gave us the ability to engage in creative as well as critical thinking which drives inventions for the advancement of the course of mankind or produces positive results most time. “In Jerusalem he made devices invented for use on the towers and on the corner defenses so that soldiers could shoot arrows and hurl large stones from the walls. His fame spread far and wide, for he was greatly helped until he became powerful.” 2 Chronicles 26:15.

When we worry, we go outside the boundaries of creative or critical thinking to get ourselves under pressure as a result of fear of failure especially when we fail to meet certain targets. God doesn’t have any intention that those who belong to him should function like every other men on the planet. He wants us to be different or have a different mindset that agrees with him in order to carry his blessing and secure his intervention anytime we need such. This means that we have to understand our peculiarities as his own people and learn to partner with him in order to make our lives less cumbersome. “But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light. Once you were not a people, but now you are the people of God; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.” 1 Peter 2:9-10.

On a very important note, God’s desire is to use us to display his goodness on earth. This can only be possible when we have understanding and make up our minds to partner with him in order to provide a legal ground for his serious involvement as well as interventions in our personal affairs. This legal ground he made available to us in his wisdom through the channel kingdom pursuits. These kingdom pursuits are channels through which God uses men to orchestrate his plan and purpose on earth. “For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. ” Matthew 6:32-33.

Prayer :Thank you Father God because you are a perfect planner. Thank you for making me your own. Thank you for giving me a creative mindset. Help me to live above worries. Let my life be tailored to pursue you, your righteousness and purpose daily. Thank you for your commitment to give me an edge in life through kingdom pursuits in Jesus wonderful name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Becoming Agents Of Divine Change

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Sunday July 14th, 2024.

Topic :Becoming Agents Of Divine Change.

Memory Verse : James 4:5. Does the Scripture mean nothing to you that says, “The Spirit that God breathed into our hearts is a jealous Lover who intensely desires to have more and more of us”?

Bible Reading : 2 Corinthians 6:16-18 TPT. Key Verse : v17.

What friendship does God’s temple have with demons? For indeed, we are the temple of the living God, just as God has said: I will make my home in them and walk among them. I will be their God, and they will be my people. For this reason, “Come out from among them and be separate,” says the Lord. “Touch nothing that is unclean, and I will embrace you. I will be a true Father to you, and you will be my beloved sons and daughters,” says the Lord Yahweh Almighty.

We live in this world, but have the understanding that we don’t belong to the world system that hates righteousness. God invested heavily in us because of his love for man. The first investment God made in man at creation was his own breath that gave us life, so man became a living soul. That’s the reason God placed premium value on man and goes out of his way to care for feeble man our shortcomings notwithstanding. God created every thing we can or can’t see to give man comfort and pleasure. But the man himself he created to give himself the creator pleasure at last. “the twenty-four elders fell facedown before the one seated on the throne and they worshiped the one who lives forever and ever. And they surrendered their crowns before the throne, singing: “You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory, honor, and power, for you created all things, and by your plan they were created and exist.”” Revelation 4:10-11.

We have become territories of God, a place he can live, walk in and work from to reach a hurting, rebellious and dying world. God wants to keep a loving and jealous relationship with man all the time. He doesn’t want anything to compete for with him for our attention, especially our hearts. He desires to be the object of our love. To that extent we have to be like David who confessed always being glad at heart anytime it was time to appear in the house of the Lord in his days. The house of God those days was a meeting point (a physical temple). In our days, the house or temple is no more a physical, but spiritual structure found in the body of a man from where the father of spirits operates. “In a palace you find many kinds of containers and tableware for many different uses. Some are beautifully inlaid with gold or silver, but some are made of wood or earthenware; some of them are used for banquets and special occasions, and some for everyday use. But you, Timothy, must not see your life and ministry this way. Your life and ministry must not be disgraced, for you are to be a pure container of Christ and dedicated to the honorable purposes of your Master, prepared for every good work that he gives you to do.” 2 Timothy 2:20-21.

At this point we are able to function as his ambassadors or men who has what it takes to represent heaven in the earthly realm. This gives us an uncommon status as men who are qualified to take decisions on behalf of heaven. Not only that; our personal and collective decisions in sensitive issues determine what God himself does because he now works alongside us on earth or in agreement with us. ““Truly I tell you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. “Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.”Matthew 18:18-20 NIV‬.

Prayer :Thank you Father God for creating me to be your habitation. Help me to live to be the man you can always live in and use to accomplish your will on earth. Let my desires and pursuits align with your purpose at any point in time in Jesus precious name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Being Different.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Saturday July 13th, 2024.

Topic :Being Different.

Memory Verse : ‭Philippians 4:4. Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!

Bible Reading : ‭Philippians 4:5-7 NIV‬. Key Verse : v7.

Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

We as people of God has been called into a lifestyle of faith. Our faith is anchored on him that died for our sins and arose for our justification. This lifestyle of faith is all about depending on God where our strength and abilities would have failed us, because he is a higher power and the source of everything good. Faith has to do with our conviction in whom God is and what is able to do because of the love he has for us that knows no boundaries. Faith in God is the only reason a man can always be a rejoicing mode because there circumstances around that will want to choke his joy as much as is possible as to inflict him with sadness, self pity, doubts, etc. as to create a legal ground for the enemy to operate. “That’s why we’re always full of courage. Even while we’re at home in the body, we’re homesick to be with the Master— for we live by faith, not by what we see with our eyes. We live with a joyful confidence, yet at the same time we take delight in the thought of leaving our bodies behind to be at home with the Lord.” Corinthians 5:6-8 TPT.

Our confidence when dealing with God stems on the fact that we are sure that he hears us. This knowing helps us to be appreciate God’s goodness as to be hankful even in difficult siruations. Jesus showed us an example of a life of confidence in God at the tomb of Lazarus whom he raused from the dead. Men who walk in such conviction and understanding live above worries. They don’t allow any scary situation to be loud their sense of reasoning and sound judgement that is based on whom God is and he he does or will always do. “God, you’re such a safe and powerful place to find refuge! You’re a proven help in time of trouble— more than enough and always available whenever I need you. So we will never fear even if every structure of support were to crumble away. We will not fear even when the earth quakes and shakes, moving mountains and casting them into the sea. For the raging roar of stormy winds and crashing waves cannot erode our faith in you. Pause in his presence” Psalm 46:1-3 TPT.

We have peace after we pray because we are sure of answers from the Lord. This peace is not subject to the size of our account balance and stuffs like that. Men living outside the covenant cannot fathom this peace, neither can they understand the source of our joy and the reason for our rejoicing. But we know that we live that way because we see what can’t see even with their binoculars and stuffs like that and we hear things that they lack capacity to hear no matter what they do to enhance their hearing abilities in the natural world. ‭”As it is written: “I have made you a father of many nations.” He is our father in the sight of God, in whom he believed—the God who gives life to the dead and calls into being things that were not. Against all hope, Abraham in hope believed and so became the father of many nations, just as it had been said to him, “So shall your offspring be.”” Romans 4:17-18.

Prayer :Thank you Father God for creating me to live by you. Thank you for saving me and restoring me to a place of fellowship with you. Help me to be different in a troubled world. Thank you for calling me to live victorious by faith in you in Jesus wonderful name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

No Hopeless Situation With Jesus.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Friday July 12th, 2024.

Topic : No Hopeless Situation With Jesus.

Memory Verse : Luke 8:50. When Jesus heard this, he said, “Jairus, don’t yield to your fear. Have faith in me and she will live again.”

Bible Reading : Luke 8:40-41 TPT. Key Verse : v50.

When Jesus returned to Galilee, the crowds were overjoyed, for they had been waiting for him to arrive. Just then, a man named Jairus, the leader of the local Jewish congregation, fell before Jesus’ feet. He desperately begged him to come and heal his twelve-year-old daughter, his only child, because she was at the point of death. Jesus started to go with him to his home to see her, but a large crowd surrounded him.

A man called Jairus who was a religious leader came to Jesus for help because his daughter was sick and dying. Jesus obliged to help out of the situation. Because of the personality of Jesus, a large crowd followed him. In such situation, there was no way the movement could be fast. Infact people were pressing on the most popular man that ever lived on earth while on the way for one reason or another. They were still on their way to see and heal the sick daughter when a massenger ran to inform Jairus that his sick daughter had passed on, therefore there was no need bringing the master of the universe to the house anymore. On getting that information the man became speechless, confused and helpless. But Jesus being the life giver told him not to be shaken by what he just heard from the massenger, but believe in what God could and was about to do in his life and family. “Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”” Matthew 19:26 NIV‬.

“When they arrived at the house, Jesus allowed only Peter, John, and Jacob—along with the child’s parents—to go inside. Jesus told those left outside, who were sobbing and wailing with grief, “Stop crying. She is not dead; she’s just asleep and must be awakened.” They laughed at him, knowing for certain that she had died. Jesus approached the body, took the girl by her hand, and called out with a loud voice, “My sleeping child, awake! Rise up!” Instantly her spirit returned to her body and she stood up. Jesus directed her stunned parents to give her something to eat and ordered them not to tell anyone what just happened.” Luke 8:51-55.

Today the Lord wants to bring back to life every good thing the enemy destroyed in the lives of men. In this life, death is a hopeless and helpless situation, but not with Jesus. There are no hopeless or helpless situations before him. Jesus is alive and the only proof of this is that though we can’t see him with our physical eyes, in his name every terrible, seemingly hopeless and helpless situations of life responds. This is because to him must every knee bow and every tongue must confess his glory. He has given us his name to use and secure whatever divine intervention we desire per time. “And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.” Mark 16:15-18 KJV.

Prayer Changes All Things.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Thursday July 11th, 2024.

Topic : Prayer Changes All Things.

Memory Verse :‭Jeremiah 33:3. ‘Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.’

Bible Reading :‭Acts 12:3-5 NIV‬. Key Verse : v5.

When he saw that this met with approval among the Jews, he proceeded to seize Peter also. This happened during the Festival of Unleavened Bread. After arresting him, he put him in prison, handing him over to be guarded by four squads of four soldiers each. Herod intended to bring him out for public trial after the Passover. So Peter was kept in prison, but the church was earnestly praying to God for him.

This time in the book of Acts, king Herod stirred up great persecution against the early church which was at a formation stage. Some disciples were imprisoned and In the process, James the brother of John was killed. Now when Herod observed how that act of wickedness pleased enemies of the gospel, he took a step further to arrest Apostle Peter intending to kill him too. This time the early church woke up to their responsibility by praying continously that the Lord intervenes to deliver his servant. ‭”So Peter was kept in prison, but the church was earnestly praying to God for him. The night before Herod was to bring him to trial, Peter was sleeping between two soldiers, bound with two chains, and sentries stood guard at the entrance. Suddenly an angel of the Lord appeared and a light shone in the cell. He struck Peter on the side and woke him up. “Quick, get up!” he said, and the chains fell off Peter’s wrists.” Acts 12:5-7.

“Then the angel said to him, “Put on your clothes and sandals.” And Peter did so. “Wrap your cloak around you and follow me,” the angel told him. Peter followed him out of the prison, but he had no idea that what the angel was doing was really happening; he thought he was seeing a vision. They passed the first and second guards and came to the iron gate leading to the city. It opened for them by itself, and they went through it. When they had walked the length of one street, suddenly the angel left him.“ Acts 12:8-10. Peter felt like one who dreamt as the angel took him through the gates of the prison to the main road and asked him there to go home. That was when he realised that he wasn’t dreaming and he had to return to meet his praying brethren.

The praying brethren brethren on their own couldn’t believe he was the one when he began to knock on the door, they couldn’t believe Rhoda who ran back from opening the door to confirm his return. ‭“You’re out of your mind,” they told her. When she kept insisting that “it was so, they said, “It must be his angel.” But Peter kept on knocking, and when they opened the door and saw him, they were astonished. Peter motioned with his hand for them to be quiet and described how the Lord had brought him out of prison. “Tell James and the other brothers and sisters about this,” he said, and then he left for another place.”” Acts 12:15-17. Today Jesus is telling us to return to the place of prayer as his people. If we can committedly fight our battles alongside him in the place of prayer, the results we are going to reap this season will shock even ourselves and people around us.

Prayer :Thank you Lord Jesus because you are the captain of my warfare. As I stand in the place of prayer with you concerning…… (mention the cases), let your angels of warfare be mobilised on my behalf. Let me begin to reap results that will shock many in Jesus wonderful name…. Amen 🙏🏿.
