Leaning On His Strength.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Topic : Leaning On His Strength.

Memory Verse :
2 Corinthians 4:12. So, then, death is at work in us but it releases life in you.

Bible Reading : 2 Corinthians 4:7-9 TPT. Key Verse : v7.

We are like common clay jars that carry this glorious treasure within, so that the extraordinary overflow of power will be seen as God’s, not ours. Though we experience every kind of pressure, we’re not crushed. At times we don’t know what to do, but quitting is not an option. We are persecuted by others, but God has not forsaken us. We may be knocked down, but not out.

When we turn to live for Jesus Christ, we are initiated into a life of glory. This glory is a bye product of God’s presence as revealed by his Spirit that in-habits us. The importance of the Holy Spirit in a believer’s life therefore cannot be overempasised. The Holy Spirit makes power or divine ability available to us for our daily Christian living. “He came to his own country, but his own people did not receive him. Some, however, did receive him and believed in him; so he gave them the right to become God’s children. They did not become God’s children by natural means, that is, by being born as the children of a human father; God himself was their Father.” John 1:11-13 GNB.

Now we must note that God’s presence in our lives through the channel of Holy Spirit does not eliminate challenges, trouble or even persecution when they want to come our way. Rather he makes strength available to us through his ministry of comfort that helps us weather the storm of life in victory. This is how we are able to surmount challenges and flourish sometimes under unbelievable circumstances. “So no wonder we don’t give up. For even though our outer person gradually wears out, our inner being is renewed every single day. We view our slight, short-lived troubles in the light of eternity. We see our difficulties as the substance that produces for us an eternal, weighty glory far beyond all comparison, because we don’t focus our attention on what is seen but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but the unseen realm is eternal.” 2 Corinthians 4:16-18.

On a conclusive note, we need to realise that challenges and storms are instruments that God uses to prepare us to carry the glory of God in our weakness or as earthen vessels. This fragility helps us appreciate the need to depend on God continually for strength under any circumstances. “We continually share in the death of Jesus in our own bodies so that the resurrection life of Jesus will be revealed through our humanity. We consider living to mean that we are constantly being handed over to death for Jesus’ sake so that the life of Jesus will be revealed through our humanity. So, then, death is at work in us but it releases life in you.” 2 Corinthians 4:10-12.

Prayer : Thank you Lord Jesus for giving me your Spirit to be my strength in the journey of life. Help me to depend on, as well as always cooperate with your Spirit in order to overcome challenges and live out the life of Christ here on earth in Jesus precious name….. Amen 🙏🏿.

Wisdom For Daily Living

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Saturday August 10th, 2024.

Topic : Wisdom For Daily Living.

Memory Verse : Psalm 37:4. Make God the utmost delight and pleasure of your life, and he will provide for you what you desire the most.

Bible Reading :Psalm 37:7-9 TPT. Key Verse : v9.

Quiet your heart in his presence and pray; keep hope alive as you long for God to come through for you. And don’t think for a moment that the wicked in their prosperity are better off than you. Stay away from anger and revenge. Keep envy far from you, for it only leads you into lies. For one day the wicked will be destroyed, but those who trust in the Lord will live safe and sound with blessings overflowing.

We live in the last days, days the word of God said ahead of time will be dangerous or perilous. In these last days men celebrate evil and wickedness. Men go for result at all cost, they don’t care who is trampled upon or hurt, as long as they get what they want. If themselves are comfortable, they’ll be fine, others can perish because they care less. In our days men are cold minded, to the extent that people can do anything to get money, grab power, etc. People are loosing sense of humanity in their dealings with others. Evil and wickedness are on the rise and they are being seen as normal daily occurrences. “But you need to be aware that in the final days the culture of society will become extremely fierce and difficult for the people of God. People will be self-centered lovers of themselves and obsessed with money. They will boast of great things as they strut around in their arrogant pride and mock all that is right. They will ignore their own families. They will be ungrateful and ungodly. They will become addicted to hateful and malicious slander. Slaves to their desires, they will be ferocious, belligerent haters of what is good and right.” 2 Timothy 3:1-3.

The word of God instructed us on time not to follow a multitude to do evil. We are not to follow the pattern of men who are evil or wicked in their dealings, though the be successful in the sight of men. The word of God rightly admonished that this life is not all about material possessions that fuel the pride of men. Truth is that God will judge the works of men. We must not forget that the reason for judgement of God is for reward purposes. “Just as it is written: “As surely as I am the Living God, I tell you: ‘Every knee will bow before me and every tongue will confess the truth and glorify me!’ ” Therefore, each one must answer for himself and give a personal account of his own life before God.” Romans 14:11-12.

Today, we must learn not to build on faulty foundations as children of God, because such structures cannot stand the test of time. We must learn to follow due process with God. This will involve a life of contentment per time and patience till we get to our desired great and glorious destination. Men that walk ahead of God runs into regrets and sometimes are cut short and have not time to make ammends. Now hear this…. “I was once young, but now I’m old. Not once have I found a lover of God forsaken by him, nor have any of their children gone hungry. Instead, I’ve found the godly ones to be the generous ones who give freely to others. Their children are blessed and become a blessing. If you truly want to dwell forever in God’s presence, forsake evil and do what is right in his eyes. The Lord loves it when he sees us walking in his justice. He will never desert his devoted lovers; they will be kept forever in his faithful care. But the descendants of the wicked will be banished.”

Psalm 37:25-28.

Prayer : Thank you Father God because whom you love, you will always instruct. Help me to live a life that honours you. Help me to wait patiently on you for my lifting. Keep me from the paths of evil and wickedness all my days in Jesus precious name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Responsible Christianity.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Friday August 9th, 2024.

Topic : Responsible Christianity.

Memory Verse : Galatians 4:7. So then, you are no longer a slave but a son or daughter. And since that is what you are, God will give you all that he has for his heirs.

Bible Reading : Galatians 4:4-6 GNB. Key Verse : v6

But when the right time finally came, God sent his own Son. He came as the son of a human mother and lived under the Jewish Law, to redeem those who were under the Law, so that we might become God’s sons and daughters. To show that you are his sons and daughters, God sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, the Spirit who cries out, “Father, my Father.”

To get the best of Christianity, we need to understand the implications of our involvement with the saviour. This includes the implication of his death on the cross and how it affects us as a believers. There are spiritual opportunities and resources that Jesus Christ made available to those who believe in him through his death and resurrection. He didn’t die for fun, neither was his resurrection in vain. Everything that he did including the fact he lives forever have implications in the lives of those who live for him, even his enemies. “And this free-flowing gift imparts to us much more than what was given to us through the one who sinned. For because of one transgression, we are all facing a death sentence with a verdict of “Guilty!” But this gracious gift leaves us free from our many failures and brings us into the perfect righteousness of God—acquitted with the words “Not guilty!” Death once held us in its grip, and by the blunder of one man, death reigned as king over humanity. But now, how much more are we held in the grip of grace and continue reigning as kings in life, enjoying our regal freedom through the gift of perfect righteousness in the one and only Jesus, the Messiah!” Romans 5:16-17 TPT.

Now we need to understand that redemption gave us the rights and privileges that goes with sonship. Now as heirs and joint heirs with Jesus, we have moved from where we used to be and entered a new level of relationship with the father. We now have unfettered access to all the spiritual resources that makes God whom he is. God intentionally made it so, so that we can be in charge of earthly affairs on his behalf. In doing this, he has given us his Spirit to help us with strength to enable us fulfill his purpose on earth. This is the reason we have to reign in this present life and not after. “And they were all singing this new song of praise to the Lamb: “Because you were slaughtered for us, you are worthy to take the scroll and open its seals. Your blood was the price paid to redeem us. You purchased us to bring us to God out of every tribe, language, people group, and nation. You have chosen us to serve our God and formed us into a kingdom of priests who reign on the earth.” Revelation 5:9-10 TPT.

The implication of reigning in life is that we operate in divine wisdom in our operations and exercise the full authority of God’s agents

of change or ambassadors anywhere we find ourselves. This means that we are not to run helter skekter looking for him or help, rather we know that he lived in us and therefore must take responsibility in our various territories to make sure that the enemy is not able to have his way in places and situations he desires to. We can’t afford to walk like people who are ignorant of who they are and the resources that heaven made available to us to use and enforce his will here on earth. “I am convinced that any suffering we endure is less than nothing compared to the magnitude of glory that is about to be unveiled within us. The entire universe is standing on tiptoe, yearning to see the unveiling of God’s glorious sons and daughters! For against its will the universe itself has had to endure the empty futility resulting from the consequences of human sin. But now, with eager expectation, all creation longs for freedom from its slavery to decay and to experience with us the wonderful freedom coming to God’s children.” Romans 8:18-21 TPT.

Prayer :Thank you Father God for saving me, so that I represent you here on earth. From today open the eyes of my understanding to the implications of what you did for me. Help me not to fail you, but take my rightful place in you as to be in charge here on earth on your behalf. Thank you for making me a blessing all my days in Jesus wonderful name….. Amen 🙏🏿.

Do Whatever He Tells You.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Thursday August 8th, 2024.

Topic : Do Whatever He Tells You.

Memory Verse :John 2:5. Jesus’ mother then told the servants, “Do whatever he tells you.”

Bible Reading :John 2:1-4 GNB. Key Verse : v4.

Two days later there was a wedding in the town of Cana in Galilee. Jesus’ mother was there, and Jesus and his disciples had also been invited to the wedding. When the wine had given out, Jesus’ mother said to him, “They have no wine left.” “You must not tell me what to do,” Jesus replied. “My time has not yet come.”

At this point in time Jesus Christ had not done any miracle publicly that could draw the attention of men to him, but God was using him to do great things at home as he grew up. The mother knew him better than anyone else, knowing what transpired between herself and the angel of God that resulted in her conception, she was not surprised that he was being used to do strange things at home while he grew up. You know that the John rightly said that no singular book on earth can contain all the miracles done by Jesus Christ, even during his public earthly ministry. The ones captured in the Bible that men who stayed with him documented are enough to prove to all who care that he is God and the creator manifested in the flesh. Coming back to the story at hand, Jesus was invited to this particular marriage feast that held in Cana of Galilee with his disciples.

“Jesus and his disciples were all invited to the banquet, but with so many guests in attendance, they ran out of wine. And when Mary realized it, she came to him and asked, “They have no wine, can’t you do something about it?” Jesus replied, “My dear one, don’t you understand that if I do this, it won’t change anything for you, but it will change everything for me! My hour of unveiling my power has not yet come.” John 2:2-4. TPT. Jesus and his disciples didn’t arrive on time for this marriage feast. But fortunately for the host, he arrived at a time when his presence was mostly needed. By the time he arrived, the host had ran out of wine because probably he had more response from guests beyond his expectations. Mary knowing the value his his son Jesus could bring to the table at difficult times, went to him and asked him to help out in that situation.

Initially he was reluctant, but later helped them out by performing his first public miracle which made even his disciples believe in him the more. He simply asked them to fill the empty jars there with ordinary water. After they had done that, they came back to him for the next line of instructions. This time he commanded them to serve the people wine from those jars. “and then he told them, “Now draw some water out and take it to the man in charge of the feast.” They took him the water, which now had turned into wine, and he tasted it. He did not know where this wine had come from (but, of course, the servants who had drawn out the water knew); so he called the bridegroom and said to him, “Everyone else serves the best wine first, and after the guests have had plenty to drink, he serves the ordinary wine. But you have kept the best wine until now!” John 2:8-10. Today, our take home is that obedience to divine instructions is key to securing his intervention anytime we need it.

Prayer :Thank you Lord Jesus because you will never fail nor disappoint me. Thank you because your presence in my life won’t allow me suffer any shame. Help me to always follow your instructions in difficult times. Thank you because you will always be there for me in Jesus wonderful name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

From Obedience To Blessing.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Wednesday August 7th,2024.

Topic : From Obedience To Blessing.

Memory Verse : Deuteronomy 11:13. “So then, obey the commands that I have given you today; love the Lord your God and serve him with all your heart.

Bible Reading : Deuteronomy 11:14-16 GNB. Key Verse : v14.

If you do, he will send rain on your land when it is needed, in the autumn and in the spring, so that there will be corn, wine, and olive oil for you,

and grass for your livestock. You will have all the food you want. Do not let yourselves be led away from the Lord to worship and serve other gods.

God’s love for man has never been in doubt. He created the universe to provide man with all the sustainance, condusive atmosphere and comfort he needed to be able to serve God’s purpose here on earth. From the beginning, man was designed to succeed on earth. We know this because the word of God confirmed that all God created to serve man’s purpose and create enabling environment for him to carry out divine purpose on earth was good. For the sake of orderliness, God gave man commands to obey for his own good. As long as man stayed on the paths of obedience to the commands of God, he was able to enjoy God’s blessings and everything worked in his favour. Coming to our main text, God brought his people Israel out of Egypt, the land of bondage and servitude by his mighty hand and acts, so that they could serve him and him alone.

When they left Egypt, the land of slavery, they were on their way to Canaan, a place of fulfillment of dreams. Here we see Moses reminding them the conditions they must keep in order to enter the full measure of God’s plan for their lives. “Love the Lord your God and always obey all his laws. Remember today what you have learned about the Lord through your experiences with him. It was you, not your children, who had these experiences. You saw the Lord’s greatness, his power, his might, and his miracles. You saw what he did to the king of Egypt and to his entire country. You saw how the Lord completely wiped out the Egyptian army, along with their horses and chariots, by drowning them in the Red Sea when they were pursuing you. You know what the Lord did for you in the desert before you arrived here.” Deuteronomy 11:1-5.

Now the key to walking in the fulness of God’s blessing here as revealed in our main text is that we love and serve God with all our hearts. When we obey his commands from a heart of love, we activate his covenant of divine supply, protection and sustainance. That is when God commands his blessing upon us and the works our hands or means of livelihood without struggles. “Obey all the laws that I have given you today. Then you will be able to cross the river and occupy the land that you are about to enter. And you will live a long time in the rich and fertile land that the Lord promised to give your ancestors and their descendants. The land that you are about to occupy is not like the land of Egypt, where you lived before. There, when you sowed seed, you had to work hard to irrigate the fields;” Deuteronomy 11:9-11.

Prayer :Thank you Father God for giving me everything I need to succeed in this life as found in your word. Help me to love and serve you with everything that is within me. Thank you because of the blesings that comes with obedience in Jesus precious name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Topic: Discover Yourself.

Memory Verse : Ephesians 1:12. That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.

Bible Reading : Ephesians 1:9-11 KJV. Key Verse: v11.

Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself: That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him: In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:

One of the things we should do when we come to know Christ is to try to understand details of his will or plan for us as individuals. This will help to fully explore the depths of his investment of grace which cost him his life on the cross. God’s plan are always glorious and kept safe as a secret. This is the reason that in the kingdom some depths of blessing are like great treasures that cannot be found on the surface. “Heaven’s kingdom realm can be illustrated like this: “A person discovered that there was hidden treasure in a field. Urpon finding it, he hid it again. Because of uncovering such treasure, he was overjoyed and sold all that he possessed to buy the entire field just so he could have the treasure. “Heaven’s kingdom realm is also like a jewel merchant in search of rare pearls. When he discovered one very precious and exquisite pearl, he immediately gave up all he had in exchange for it.” Matthew 13:44-46 TPT.

Because these great things that comes from God are not on the surface, they can’t be seen with our physical eyes, rather they can only be seen with the eyes of the Spirit. This is because they are spiritual commodities. We therefore access them by revelation and by the help of the Spirit of God. A man like Joseph was so blessed but never knew. The Spirit began ahead of time to open his inner eyes through dreams to enable him access the future, so that he could be focused and pursue it. The confusion of his family was mainly because of the fact that they couldn’t see who he was, which was meant only for himself. They saw him as a proud and arrogant fellow and therefore envied his revelations. But he was just saying what was being revealed to him which he had no control over. “Then Joseph had another dream and said to his brothers, “I had another dream, in which I saw the sun, the moon, and eleven stars bowing down to me.”He also told the dream to his father, and his father scolded him: “What kind of a dream is that? Do you think that your mother, your brothers, and I are going to come and bow down to you?”” Genesis 37:9-10.

Today, understand that you are not a member of the family of God for fun. Your being on earth at this point in time is not accidental. Know this that being adopted into God’s family qualified you for divine inheritance as a birthright. These blessings are first spiritual and can be explored in full measure by men who make up their mind to be with the father of all spirits. Again when these spiritual blessings are fully explored, they attract every material things we need in life without much struggle. You therefore have to consciously live your life in God’s presence, so that he can reveal his plan as well your divine inheritance in him that will enable you to pursue such plan. That is key to your success, greatness and fulfillment in life. “The heart of the prudent getteth knowledge; and the ear of the wise seeketh knowledge. A man’s gift maketh room for him, and bringeth him before great men.” Proverbs 18:15-16. Note that in this passage, we view gift in the context of divine endowment.

Prayer :Thank you Father God for making me part of your divine family through Jesus your son. Help to live my life in your presence all my days. Open the eyes of my spirit to know your plan for my life so that I can pursue it in order to be fulfilled in life in Jesus wonderful name….. Amen 🙏🏿.

Never Doubt Or Tempt God.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Monday August 5th, 2024.

Topic : Never Doubt Or Tempt God.

Memory Verse :Matthew 16: How evil and godless are the people of this day! You ask me for a miracle? No! The only miracle you will be given is the miracle of Jonah.”So he left them and went away.

Bible Reading : Matthew 16:2-3. Key Verse: v6.

Some Pharisees and Sadducees who came to Jesus wanted to trap him, so they asked him to perform a miracle for them, to show that God approved of him. But Jesus answered, “When the sun is setting, you say, ‘We are going to have fine weather, because the sky is red.’

And early in the morning you say, ‘It is going to rain, because the sky is red and dark.’ You can predict the weather by looking at the sky, but you cannot interpret the signs concerning these times!

I the first place, the Pharisees and Sadducees in Israel was separated by class and belief system. The Pharisees were a mixture of all class of people bound together be their strict belief in the laws of Moses including teachings that has to do with resurrection and life after death, prayer, etc. On the other hand, the Sadducees comprises of mostly people of the upper class who believed only in the laws of Moses and nothing else. These two never agreed in Israel. But when they saw Jesus doing his earthly ministry, they saw a common enemy who wanted to disrupt the status quo in religious and social lives of men of their days. When it came to fighting Jesus whom they saw as a common foe, they became united. This time people from both divide came together in agreement to try to run Jesus into trouble by tempting him, like men working for the devil. Jesus being God knew all things and could therefore read their minds. They came this time asking for proofs or show from the God who doesn’t work for showmanship sake, but to meet the dire needs of his people, so that we can glorify him.

“For God in heaven unveils his holy anger breaking forth against every form of sin, both toward ungodliness that lives in hearts and evil actions. For the wickedness of humanity deliberately smothers the truth and keeps people from acknowledging the truth about God. In reality, the truth of God is known instinctively, for God has embedded this knowledge inside every human heart. Opposition to truth cannot be excused on the basis of ignorance, because from the creation of the world, the invisible qualities of God’s nature have been made visible, such as his eternal power and transcendence. He has made his wonderful attributes easily perceived, for seeing the visible makes us understand the invisible. So then, this leaves everyone without excuse. Throughout human history the fingerprints of God were upon them, yet they refused to honor him as God or even be thankful for his kindness. Instead, they entertained corrupt and foolish thoughts about what God was like. This left them with nothing but misguided hearts, steeped in moral darkness. Although claiming to be super-intelligent, they were in fact shallow fools.” Romans 1:18-22 TPT.

Today we have to learn not to tempt God or his servants to avoid the wrath of God. Many people lost the opportunity of receiving divine intervention in difficult times where God was at work because they went there with a wrong mindset. Instead of the mindset of faith which unlocks heaven, they wanted to see if God can really do it. God has nothing to prove to men anymore. The things he created and does speaks volumes about him and his commitment to the well being of mankind which made him die through Christ Jesus to save us. “So, what does all this mean? If God has determined to stand with us, tell me, who then could ever stand against us? For God has proved his love by giving us his greatest treasure, the gift of his Son. And since God freely offered him up as the sacrifice for us all, he certainly won’t withhold from us anything else he has to give.” Romans 8:31-32 TPT. I once heard of a man who died because he answered healing altar call in pretence that he had cancer, but only to put to test the prophetic gift of the man of God.

Prayer :Thank you Father God because your commitment to my well being is not in doubt. Give me a heart that loves and follows after you in faith. Help me never to doubt or tempt your Spirit in Jesus precious name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Victory Code

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Sunday August 4th, 2024.

Topic : Victory Code.

Memory Verse :Colossians 1:25. which is the secret he hid through all past ages from all the human race but has now revealed to his people.

Bible Reading : Colossians 1:26-28 GNB. Key Verse : v26.

God’s plan is to make known his secret to his people, this rich and glorious secret which he has for all peoples. And the secret is that Christ is in you, which means that you will share in the glory of God. So we preach Christ to everyone. With all possible wisdom we warn and teach them in order to bring each one into God’s presence as a mature individual in union with Christ. To get this done I toil and struggle, using the mighty strength which Christ supplies and which is at work in me.

When Satan cornered Eve in the garden of Eden and used her to enter Adam, he thought had gotten the victory in disorganising God’s plan for his earth and man whom he had given the earth to, after creation. But God being omniscient knew what lay ahead of man and his earth. He therefore made a provision for the redemption and restoration of man to himself. This plan was top secret because Satan didn’t have it’s details. When Jesus came to the earth as man, he knew God was upto something and therefore attempted to scuttle his mission by coming to tempt him. When that strategy failed, he left for a season and began to map of a next strategy. When every other efforts to stop Jesus from liberating men failed, he decided that the best option available was for him to kill the King of Glory. This evil plan he used the religious leaders of those days to implement. The religious leaders of those days saw Jesus and his earthly assignment as a treath to their relevance and survival. “The wisdom I proclaim is God’s hidden wisdom, which he had already chosen for our glory even before the world was made. None of the rulers of this world knew this wisdom. If they had known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.” 1 Corinthians 2:7-8.

Redemption gave man the opportunity to carry God in himself through the Holy Spirit who indwells us. By the enablement of the Spirit of God, we are able to be partakers of the nature and glory of God. The Holy Spirit functions in us to empower us to live above the forces of limitations and nature which every ordinary man on the surface of the is subject to. Our walk with God in the Spirit helps us to align with God’s plan which the enemy wanted to scuttle in the first place. Our Lord Jesus knew what was about to hit the earth once he was gone. Therefore when his disciples was feeling heavy at the point he began to prepare them for his going back to the Father, made them understand that his going will rather be a blessing in disguise. His return to the father, having accomplished his earthly assignment, made way for the Holy Spirit to show up to continue from where he stopped. “These things have I spoken unto you, being yet present with you. BTheseut the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.” John 14:25-26.

Now the defeat the enemy suffered in the hands of God through his son is multidimentional as well as the regrets of the enemy of our soul for using men to kill him. One of the secrets of God that the devil can never unravel is the capacity of the restored man whom he is no match for in everything because of the workings of the in dwelling power of the Spirit of God by which we are kept safe and secure unto everlasting victory. Our life as it is, is entwined inseparably with that of Jesus. Therefore anything that touches us touches him in this partnership. This our new found status in him comes with attendant privileges, as well as responsibilities. When we crave to enjoy the privileges redemption attracts, we must also be prepared for the attendant responsibilities which testifies about our maturity in him. “You should think of us as Christ’s servants, who have been put in charge of God’s secret truths. The one thing required of such servants is that they be faithful to their master.”1 Corinthians 4:1-2.

Prayer : Thank you Father God for the victory you packaged for me through Jesus my saviour. Thank you for divine enablement by the indwelling power of the Holy Spirit. Thank you because Satan won’t be able to understand what you did, neither will he recover from the victory you have given me in Jesus wonderful name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Rise ye up, take your journey, and pass over the river Arnon: behold, I have given into thine hand Sihon the Amorite, king of Heshbon, and his land: begin to possess it, and contend with him in battle. This day will I begin to put the dread of thee and the fear of thee upon the nations that are under the whole heaven, who shall hear report of thee, and shall tremble, and be in anguish because of thee. And I sent messengers out of the wilderness of Kedemoth unto Sihon king of Heshbon with words of peace, saying,.

While the people of Israel journeyed from Egypt to Canaan under the leadership of Moses, the Lord was with them directing their affairs. They spent many days going round a circle around Mount Seir as Moses awaited the next instruction or move of God. Now the Lord finally instructed that they make progress going northwards. All the way they always followed divine instructions. There were people God didn’t permit them to fight because he wasn’t willing to give theland occupied by such people to them. “And command thou the people, saying, Ye are to pass through the coast of your brethren the children of Esau, which dwell in Seir; and they shall be afraid of you: take ye good heed unto yourselves therefore: Meddle not with them; for I will not give you of their land, no, not so much as a foot breadth; because I have given mount Seir unto Esau for a possession. Ye shall buy meat of them for money, that ye may eat; and ye shall also buy water of them for money, that ye may drink.” Deuteronomy 2:4-6. The couldn’t fight such people, except when they refuse them peaceful passage.

Now, at some other time, the Lord gave them express instruction to spy, fight, destroy the enemy and posses the land where such people inhabited. At this point in time, the Lord didn’t permit the people of Israel to fight the children of Ammon because they were descendants of Lot and therefore their brothers. However the people of Ammon rejected their pleas to be allowed to pass through their land peacefully and buy anything they needed with money. “Thou shalt sell me meat for money, that I may eat; and give me water for money, that I may drink: only I will pass through on my feet; (As the children of Esau which dwell in Seir, and the Moabites which dwell in Ar, did unto me;) until I shall pass over Jordan into the land which the LORD our God giveth us. But Sihon king of Heshbon would not let us pass by him: for the LORD thy God hardened his spirit, and made his heart obstinate, that he might deliver him into thy hand, as appeareth this day. And the LORD said unto me, Behold, I have begun to give Sihon and his land before thee: begin to possess, that thou mayest inherit his land.” Deuteronomy 2:28-31.

Today we must learn not engage in senseless battles. In our walk with God there are battles we have to avoid, that is when we don’t have the backing of the Lord to get involved. If you watch Moses in the journey, you will discover that he never lost any battle. The secret behind it all was his adherence to divine instructions. When he followed the directives of the Lord, anyone who didn’t comply with him became a casualty because they strayed into the zone of the wrath of God which consumed them. Many people today ran into problems because they engaged in battles that is not meant for them and therefore lacked the backing of the most high. “Then the angel that talked with me answered and said unto me, Knowest thou not what these be? And I said, No, my lord. Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts. Who art thou, O great mountain? before Zerubbabel thou shalt become a plain: and he shall bring forth the headstone thereof with shoutings, crying, Grace, grace unto it.” Zechariah 4:5-7.

Prayer : Thank you Lord Jesus because you are the captain of my warfare. Help to discern your leading in the journey of life all my days. Keep me from assumptions and involvement in battles without your backing. Thank you for keeping me safe till everlasting victory in Jesus wonderful name….. Amen 🙏🏿.

Shine Your Light.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Friday August 2nd, 2024.

Topic : Shine Your Light.

Memory Verse :Isaiah 60:1. Arise, Jerusalem, and shine like the sun; The glory of the Lord is shining on you!

Bible Reading : Isaiah 60:2-4 GNB. Key Verse : v2.

Other nations will be covered by darkness, But on you the light of the Lord will shine; The brightness of his presence will be with you. Nations will be drawn to your light, And kings to the dawning of your new day. Look around you and see what is happening: Your people are gathering to come home! Your sons will come from far away; Your daughters will be carried like children.

In Isaiah 59, the word of God began to paint a picture of the consequences of sin as it affects our relationship with God. The matter was so serious that it became a force of limitation in what God intends to do for his people. The situation looked gloomy and hopeless as man wasn’t in the right position to help himself out of this ugly situation. God therefore in his love and mercy took it upon himself to deliver or redeem man from the shackles of sin, so that we can enjoy his presence, the blessings and the intervention that goes with it. ““The Redeemer will come to Zion, to those in Jacob who repent of their sins,” declares the Lord. “As for me, this is my covenant with them,” says the Lord. “My Spirit, who is on you, will not depart from you, and my words that I have put in your mouth will always be on your lips, on the lips of your children and on the lips of their descendants—from this time on and forever,” says the Lord.” Isaiah 59:20-21 NIV‬.

Now God in his loving kindness and mercy appeared on the scene to our rescue. He came through his son as light of the world, so that every darkness can disappear. He came as the way, so that through him we may return to the place of intimate fellowship with the father. Because of the work of redemption we are now the people of God, called out of the gross darkness (unrighteousness) covering the entire universe. ‭”Leaving Nazareth, he went and lived in Capernaum, which was by the lake in the area of Zebulun and Naphtali—to fulfill what was said through the prophet Isaiah:“Land of Zebulun and land of Naphtali, the Way of the Sea, beyond the Jordan, Galilee of the Gentiles the people living in darkness have seen a great light; on those living in the land of the shadow of death a light has dawned.” From that time on Jesus began to preach, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near.” Matthew 4:13-17 NIV‬.

If you are with Jesus, you must realise that you have been illuminated by his word and empowered by his Spirit. This means that you have what it takes to shine in the full strength and power of his light. The light of the world came to illuminate men; that is believers in him, so that you can become the light of God anywhere they find themselves around the universe. This means that it is God’s intention henceforth to illuminate the universe through his numerous sons around the world who are reflecting or manifesting the image and glory of his son who is the true light of the world. This new month and season, God is making your life to become an attraction because of the beauty and glory of his presence saturating your life daily. You are the city of God, a source of encouragement, an attraction and inspiration to many who are fainting. Your territory will be like Goshen that is separated from all forms of negativity and evil report. “So don’t hide your light! Let it shine brightly before others, so that the commendable things you do will shine as light upon them, and then they will give their praise to your Father in heaven.” Matthew 5:16.

Prayer : Thank you Jesus for coming to the earth to redeem and transform my life. Thank you for bringing me into your light and life. Thank you for making me the light of my generation. Let this understanding lead in the paths of glory till I see your face in Jesus wonderful name Amen 🙏🏿.
