Topic : Be A Blessing.

Memory Verse :3 John 1:3. I was so happy when some fellow-Christians arrived and told me how faithful you are to the truth — just as you always live in the truth.

Bible Reading :3 John 1:24-6. GNB. Key Verse: v5.

Nothing makes me happier than to hear that my children live in the truth. My dear friend, you are so faithful in the work you do for your fellow-Christians, even when they are strangers. They have spoken to the church here about your love. Please help them to continue their journey in a way that will please God.

One of the qualities God rewards in any man especially his children is faithfulness. It is also one of the yardsticks that heaven uses to measure success in whatever he commits to our care in the course of our service to him and the brethren. In 3rd John we see two types of men : the first person was Gaius who was being commended for his good works of obidience exhibited to or among the brethren which was full of love and in faithfulness too. His posture and activities was on the lips of others who was full of appreciation and their father in the Lord who was elder John had to acknowledge his commendable activities among the brethren and was blessing him for making his work easy. On the other side of the devide was another individual called Diotrephes who was walking contrary and in rebellion to the instructions of the elder and father and yet trying to usurp leadership and cause damages among the brethren through his rebellious activities.

Today as a child of God, you must make sure you don’t rock the boat and make the work of leaders difficult. Men who walk contrary are proud and unteachable. Some of them try to take power in rebellion therefore making the work cumbersome. Such people attract wrath instead of blessing of God at the end of the day. The book of James 4v6 submits that God resists or are into open combat with the proud and rebellious. Now think of where or whom a man can run to when God is fighting him??? If Satan, men or any others power fight you, you can always run to God for help, but when God himself fights a man, there will certainly be no hiding place because none can deliver from his mighty hands. ‭”In the same way, you who are younger, submit yourselves to your elders. All of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, because, “God opposes the proud but shows favor to the humble.”Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time.” 1 Peter 5:5-6 NIV‬.

Today, we must learn to be builders anywhere we find ourselves. We have to learn to live lives that will impact positively on everyone around us. Men should be able to give good testimony of us even when we are absent. Leaders we work under should feel blessed to have men like us in their team who makes their assignment easier. When we serve faithfully, we attract his blessings which attracts grace that makes men to prosper, spirit, soul and body, as the elder prayed into the life of beloved Gaius.‭

“The elder, To my dear friend Gaius, whom I love in the truth. Dear friend, I pray that you may enjoy good health and that all may go well with you, even as your soul is getting along well. It gave me great joy when some believers came and testified about your faithfulness to the truth, telling how you continue to walk in it.” 3 John 1:1-3 NIV‬.

Prayer : Thank you Father God for every opportunity to serve in your kingdom. From today, help me to be humble and faithful in everything I do for you. Let my life be such that impact and bless others in Jesus wonderful name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Be Determined

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Tuesday September 10th, 2024.

Topic : Be Determined.

Memory Verse : Hebrews 12:3. Think of what he went through; how he put up with so much hatred from sinners! So do not let yourselves become discouraged and give up.

Bible Reading : Hebrews 12:1-3 GNB. Key Verse: v2.

As for us, we have this large crowd of witnesses round us. So then, let us rid ourselves of everything that gets in the way, and of the sin which holds on to us so tightly, and let us run with determination the race that lies before us. Let us keep our eyes fixed on Jesus, on whom our faith depends from beginning to end. He did not give up because of the cross! On the contrary, because of the joy that was waiting for him, he thought nothing of the disgrace of dying on the cross, and he is now seated at the right-hand side of God’s throne.

Most times when I look at the record of men that walked with God of old as contained in his word, I feel challenged. The fact is that many of them had nobody they understudied, nobody to draw any form of inspiration from their documented experience with God, yet they had such excellent record that ourselves who are privileged to be reading their exploits in the kingdom are struggling to meet up with or duplicate. For example, a man like Abraham who came from an idol worshipping background began to hear God while in that idol infested environment and he mustered enough courage to follow the instructions of the almighty and not what was popular among the people where he found himself. When we read Hebrews 11, we see an endless catalogue of men of old who dared to be different in their lifetime and that became a point of separation for kingdom greatness and glory. Having seen their records, we don’t have any reason to fail.

“It was faith that made Abel offer to God a better sacrifice than Cain’s. Through his faith he won God’s approval as a righteous man, because God himself approved of his gifts. By means of his faith Abel still speaks, even though he is dead. It was faith that kept Enoch from dying. Instead, he was taken up to God, and nobody could find him, because God had taken him up. The scripture says that before Enoch was taken up, he had pleased God. No one can please God without faith, for whoever comes to God must have faith that God exists and rewards those who seek him.” Hebrews 11:4-6. I just want us to look at these two characters briefly. Enoch was so faithful in following the Lord that God decided that he must not go the way of every mortal man he created because the fall, which is death. God decided to take him to be with him without seeing death. He was the first to experience rapture. This means that can change his own rules because of a man. Looking at Abel his sacrifice or giving was an act of worship that heaven had respect for, and that was the reason for acceptance and approval while Cain failed to obey God completely. A friend the other day told me the story of a woman of God around whom God instructed to give someone who wasn’t close to her #250, 000. She thought within her, “how can I give someone that’s not close to me #250′, 000 just like that for doing nothing” . She gave the person #100, 000 at the end of the day. Same day, when it was evening, she had lost #500, 000. Now she was looking at the rewards of men and not of God and therefore became faithless and disobeyed God. The 100k she gave was wasted, just like in the case of Saul.

Today I don’t know the challenges you are facing trying to please God. Remember that someone had been there before you, yet he/she conquered through obedience to the master. You can’t afford to be recorded among those who fail. Success here is a matter of choice. When you determine to overcome, heaven will help you where you can’t help yourself. Men of old and their records or testimonies are speaking words of encouragement to us anytime we feel like fainting or throwing in the towel. Remember that when we don’t obey divine instructions completely, we walk in outright obedience. Never forget that every act of obedience to divine instructions launches you into new realms of blessing and favor with the master. Remember that there is no reward or blessing for anyone who gives up, even at the last minute. Truth is that if those men we read could make it in their days, we can also make it in our days. The Spirit of God is always there to help us, ask him for help anytime you need it.

Prayer :Thank you Father God because no one following you fails in life. Like men of old help me to walk with you in my days and to please you. Let your Spirit be close to me always to instruct and to help me. Thank you for seeing through life in victory in Jesus precious name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Living In Union With Christ

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Monday September 9th, 2024.

Topic : Living In Union With Christ.

Memory Verse :‭James 4:5.
Or do you think Scripture says without reason that he jealously longs for the spirit he has caused to dwell in us? (NIV)

Ephesians 2:5-7 GNB. Key Verse : v6.

that while we were spiritually dead in our disobedience he brought us to life with Christ. It is by God’s grace that you have been saved. In our union with Christ Jesus he raised us up with him to rule with him in the heavenly world. He did this to demonstrate for all time to come the extraordinary greatness of his grace in the love he showed us in Christ Jesus.

Christianity is a life of spiritual separation made possible by the work of the cross. On the cross, Jesus paid fully for our sins with his blood, so that can be released from the camp of the enemy who takes men captive using sin as a bait. After Jesus secured our release from the camp of the devil by his shed blood, he put his Spirit in us to help us carry his presence anywhere we go the rest of our lives. His Spirit living in us now helps us to live victorious when we follow his leading daily. “Even so we, when we were children, were in bondage under the elements of the world: But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law,. To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons. And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.” Galatians 4:3-6 KJV.

The implication of what Christ did for us is that we have become one with him in the spirit. We have become his look like as members of the family or household of God. What Jesus did can be compared to marriage in the natural world. In a marriage, two different people from two different backgrounds and orientation (sometimes) comes together under the umbrella of marriage and becomes one in everything they do. Being with Christ therefore is a life of partnership with God in order to execute his will on earth and not our personal plans. The primary purpose of this heavenly union is that we as believers in Christ and his purpose on earth makes ourselves available to him as channels through which he can now bring to pass those things he intends to do in on earth among men. “At all times we carry in our mortal bodies the death of Jesus, so that his life also may be seen in our bodies. Throughout our lives we are always in danger of death for Jesus’ sake, in order that his life may be seen in this mortal body of ours.!This means that death is at work in us, but life is at work in you.” 2 Corinthians 4:10-12.

This union or partnership with the master and saviour grants us access to certain benefits, rights and privileges that makes our lives beautiful. One of benefits of partnering or living in union with the almighty is that his presence in our lives works to preserves us from the onslaught of the evil one, when we live by his instructions. Again his Spirit living in us grants us access to deep truths in the spirit realm. By the help of the Spirit working in us, divine wisdom is always made available to us that gives us an edge over ordinary people in everything we do just like Daniel in Babylon. On another important note, as members of God’s family through this union, all the blessings of God that that available with as creator becomes our portion to take advantage of and have a good earthly life in victory all our days. “Let us give thanks to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! For in our union with Christ he has blessed us by giving us every spiritual blessing in the heavenly world. Even before the world was made, God had already chosen us to be his through our union with Christ, so that we would be holy and without fault before him. Because of his love” Ephesians 1:3-4.

Prayer : Thank you Lord Jesus for the price you paid with your blood to redeem me. Thank you for giving me your Spirit to live by and bringing me into a life of union with you. Thank you for all the benefits I enjoy in you in Jesus precious name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Jesus Is The True Light.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Sunday September 8th, 2024.

Topic :Jesus Is The True Light.

Memory Verse : John 8:12. Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.

Bible Reading :John 1:7-9 KJV. Key Verse: v9.

The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe. He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light. That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.

Jesus Christ is the gift of God to mankind. Before he came to the earth in human form, darkness and his kingdom thought they will have their way here on earth. But God in his wisdom demonstrated his supremacy over his creation and the affairs of men by introducing light who is the antidote to any form of darkness. Men who rejects Jesus from being king over their lives and affairs labour under the burdens of Satan who is darkness personified. John came on time and bore witness to this great light of God that came to deliver men from religious darkness and all forms of confusion that befell mankind because of the fall. Jesus came to reveal as well as execute God’s plan of salvation for mankind. Through him we have understanding of how to be restored to a life of fellowship with the father and are empowered to live our lives to please the father. “Some, however, did receive him and believed in him; so he gave them the right to become God’s children. They did not become God’s children by natural means, that is, by being born as the children of a human father; God himself was their Father. John 1:12-13 GNB.

Jesus as light of the world has dimensions of manifestation of direction and clarity of purpose in his operations. One of those dimensions was revealed in John chapter 8, when a woman who was caught in adultery was brought to him. The accussers of the woman sought his permission to stone her to death. They didn’t understand the fact that he came to turn the table and usher in grace and mercies of God to as many that could run to him for help instead of judgement as prescribed by the laws of Moses. “Jesus straightened up and asked her, “Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you?” “No one, sir,” she said. “Then neither do I condemn you,” Jesus declared. “Go now and leave your life of sin.” When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”” John 8:10-12 NIV‬.

In same John chapter 9, we saw another dimension of this great light in healing the man that was blind from birth. He came to introduce us to a life victory over sin, Satan, sickness and every negativity we can think of in this life, John 9:1-7. In John chapter 11, we can see another dimension of this light that knows the end from the beginning. He knows what to do per time to bring glory to the father. Following him guarantees our safety in the journey of life. “His disciples say unto him, Master, the Jews of late sought to stone thee; and goest thou thither again Jesus answered, Are there not twelve hours in the day? If any man walk in the day, he stumbleth not, because he seeth the light of this world. But if a man walk in the night, he stumbleth, because there is no light in him.” John 11:8-10.

Prayer :Thank you Father God for giving us Jesus your son to illuminste our paths on earth. From today give me understanding and help me to take advantage of every dimensions of glory available in Christ, as to live victorious here on earth by him in Jesus precious name….. Amen 🙏🏿.

Authentic Instrument Of Change

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Saturday September 7th,2024.

Topic : Authentic Instrument Of Change.

Memory Verse :1 Thessalonians 1:9. All those people speak about how you received us when we visited you, and how you turned away from idols to God, to serve the true and living God

Bible Reading : 1 Thessalonians 1:3-5 GNB. Key Verse: v3.

For we remember before our God and Father how you put your faith into practice, how your love made you work so hard, and how your hope in our Lord Jesus Christ is firm. Our brothers and sisters, we know that God loves you and has chosen you to be his own. For we brought the Good News to you, not with words only, but also with power and the Holy Spirit, and with complete conviction of its truth. You know how we lived when we were with you; it was for your own good. firm.

The beauty of Christianity is in changed lives. Jesus came to seek as to save lost men. The gospel is meant to be an instrument of reconciling men back to God because of what Jesus did. Any work men do in the name of God that cannot change or transform men is therefore compromised. “For the message about Christ’s death on the cross is nonsense to those who are being lost; but for us who are being saved it is God’s power. The scripture says: “I will destroy the wisdom of the wise and set aside the understanding of the scholars.” So then, where does that leave the wise? or the scholars? or the skilful debaters of this world? God has shown that this world’s wisdom is foolishness! For God in his wisdom made it impossible for people to know him by means of their own wisdom. Instead, by means of the so-called “foolish” message we preach, God decided to save those who believe.” 1 Corinthians 1:18.-21.

In our case study here with Thessalonian believers, there were visible changes in their lives after they believed. Apostle Paul and other witnesses could testify about, which was as a result of the fact that they accepted the message of the cross. They believed the truth and gave up their idols and religious livestyles which led nowhere to serve the living God. They put their faith to practical work by walking in love with fellow believers and other men. They stood firm in and with the Lord in their new found faith, challenges notwithstanding. Now, we need to note that the word of God is the authentic instrument to transform destinies, move men from unbelief to faith, from darkness to light, from being sinners to becoming saints, from being failures in this life to becoming success stories, etc. “You imitated us and the Lord; and even though you suffered much, you received the message with the joy that comes from the Holy Spirit. So you became an example to all believers in Macedonia and Achaia.” 1 Thessalonians 1:6-7.

Today we need to have a second look at our Christianity as individuals and check if we are truly being changed and transformed. Change can never happen, till we see the need for such. Many fill our Churches today especially here in Africa because they want to solve myriad of problems created by wickedness of men without caring about their eternal destiny. People are more careful about what happens here and now than eternity. We need to understand that the gospel is the only instrument that is configured by God to help every man to have a good life here on earth and at last spend eternity with him in light. As much as we care about our daily physical needs, we must begin to live conscious of our spiritual nature and take care of the destiny of the real man in us who is eternal. When we are willing, the Spirit of truth will always be there to help us where our efforts is not enough to see us through. “But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.” John 1:12-13 KJV.

Prayer :Thank you Father God for giving us Jesus to die and save us. Today I submit myself to you afresh, search me and see things in me that doesn’t glorify you. Help me to do away with such. Thank you for making me a success story here on earth and after here in Jesus precious name
… Amen 🙏🏿.

Nobody Can Stop God.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Friday September 6th, 2024.

Topic : Nobody Can Stop God.

Memory Verse : Exodus 14:30. On that day the Lord saved the people of Israel from the Egyptians, and the Israelites saw them lying dead on the seashore.

Bible Reading : Exodus 14:27-29 GNB. Key Verse : v29.

So Moses held out his hand over the sea, and at daybreak the water returned to its normal level. The Egyptians tried to escape from the water, but the Lord threw them into the sea. The water returned and covered the chariots, the drivers, and all the Egyptian army that had followed the Israelites into the sea; not one of them was left. But the Israelites walked through the sea on dry ground, with walls of water on both sides.

When God came to Egypt to lead the Israelites out of the land of bondage, so that they could serve him without encumbrances, it looked like a mission impossible at first. Even the people of Israel whom the Lord sent Moses to, initially saw it as suicidal as the activities of Moses stirred up the anger of Pharaoh king of Egypt who escalated their sufferings in wickedness, by increasing their burden for dreaming liberty in the first place. “We are given no straw, but we are still ordered to make bricks! And now we are being beaten. It is your people that are at fault.” The king answered, “You are lazy and don’t want to work, and that is why you ask me to let you go and offer sacrifices to the Lord. Now get back to work! You will not be given any straw, but you must still make the same number of bricks.”” Exodus 5:16-18.

Pharaoh had the liberty of behaving as if he was incharge as long God permitted him in order to demonstrate his power through Moses. At first the magicians of Egypt enjoyed duplicating the miracles and signs God did through Moses. Later God took that privilege away as they couldn’t duplicate, neither could they counter Moses and Aaron, but used unkept promises to buy time. The day the Lord determined to move his people out of Egypt, he only gave a simple instruction to his servant Moses. When it was executed, Pharaoh and the Egyptians released God’s people in a haste before they could think, because their lives was at stake. “That same night the king sent for Moses and Aaron and said, “Get out, you and your Israelites! Leave my country; go and worship the Lord, as you asked. Take your sheep, goats, and cattle, and leave. Also pray for a blessing on me.” The Egyptians urged the people to hurry and leave the country; they said, “We will all be dead if you don’t leave.”” Exodus 12:30-32.

When they came to the red sea and was being pursued by Pharaoh and his presidential guard, their faith was put to test. Pharaoh was out to recapture the people of God, feeling he made a mistake releasing them in first place; but that was his Waterloo. God proved himself in a historic manner by making a highway in the sea for his people to pass, while Pharaoh and his army perished trying to imitate grace. Today understand that no power or name is formidable enough to stop what God is doing or is about to do in your life. Never allow yourself to be intimidated by the red sea of challenges before you or enemies that are in hot pursuit behind, as if they have what it takes to stop God. Remember always that what you need to overcome daunting challenges are simple instructions from the master. Never forget that every unrepentant pursuer of yourself and anyone walking with God is marked for destruction. “For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion. So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy.” Romans 9:15-16 KJV.

Prayer : Thank you Father God because you rule over the affairs of men to glorify yourself. Thank you because no power can stop your sovereign self. Thank because you are making a way for me in unbelievable circumstances. I worship you because every stubborn pursuers must perish for my sake in Jesus wonderful name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Believe God For A Change

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Thursday September 5th, 2024.

Topic :Believe God For A Change.

Memory Verse :1 Samuel 1:11. Hannah continued to pray to the Lord for a long time, and Eli watched her lips.

1 Samuel 1:5-7 GNB. Key Verse: v6.

And even though he loved Hannah very much he would give her only one share, because the Lord had kept her from having children. Peninnah, her rival, would torment and humiliate her, because the Lord had kept her childless. This went on year after year; whenever they went to the house of the Lord, Peninnah would upset Hannah so much that she would cry and refuse to eat anything.

The situation sister Hannah found herself here wasn’t palatable at all. She was childless in her marriage, not of her own making but because it was from the Lord. The husband, brother Elkanah showed much understanding, but the taunting and mockery coming from her co-wife Peninnah was unbearable as she made life miserable for her in the marriage daily. When all her efforts to get pregnant as a woman didn’t work, she knew there is a God who has what it takes to do all things. Now they had gone to the house of God in Shiloh to perform their Yearly sacrifice before the Lord. Hanah went a heavy heart and decided to stay back when every other person had gone, so that she could talk to God who has the final say in every matter. “One day, after they had finished their meal in the house of the Lord at Shiloh, Hannah got up. She was deeply distressed, and she cried bitterly as she prayed to the Lord. Meanwhile, Eli the priest was sitting in his place by the door.” 1 Samuel 1:9-10.

Hanah knew she had what is needed to affect the change unto herself in the place of prayer. She therefore seized the opportunity provided by their Yearly pilgrimage to Shiloh to wait before the Lord with a broken heart. She didn’t want any distractions, she waited for every other person to leave so that she could be alone with God. She prayed earnestly from the depths of her heart to the extent that the man of God Eli mistook her to be drunk. “Hannah continued to pray to the Lord for a long time, and Eli watched her lips. She was praying silently; her lips were moving, but she made no sound. So Eli thought that she was drunk, and said to her, “Stop making a drunken show of yourself! Stop your drinking and sober up!” “No, I’m not drunk, sir,” she answered. “I haven’t been drinking! I am desperate, and I have been praying, pouring out my troubles to the Lord.” 1 Samuel 1:11-14.

Today it doesn’t matter what difficult situations you are going through. I don’t know the person mocking or taunting you because of situations you can’t really help. The right person to fall back on when things go beyond your control is the one who formed you in your mother’s womb as well as brought you here not to ridicule, but make you. The God we serve handles difficult cases in most simple ways when we have faith. The man of God only spoke a word into the life of Hanah in Shiloh. “Don’t think I am a worthless woman. I have been praying like this because I’m so miserable.” “Go in peace,” Eli said, “and may the God of Israel give you what you have asked him for.” “May you always think kindly of me,” she replied. Then she went away, ate some food, and was no longer sad .”1 Samuel 1:15-17. She believed and therefore received from God. Her faith was demonstrated by the fact that she wasn’t sad or heavy anymore. She went home eating and rejoicing. This day I join my faith with you for every difficult and lingering matter be settled now so that you glorify God.

Prayer : Thank you Father God because with you all things are possible. I come through the blood of Jesus today and plead for your mercy and intervention in…….. (mention the case or cases). I thank you for I know that you have answered me today. I rejoice in victory and return all glory to you in Jesus wonderful name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Leveraging On The Srenght Of God.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Wednesday September 4th,2024.

Topic: Leveraging On The Srenght Of God.

Memory Verse : Exodus 34:14..“Do not worship any other god, because I, the Lord, tolerate no rivals.

Bible Reading : 1 Chronicles 14:11-13 GNB. Key Verse : v13.

So David attacked them at Baal Perazim and defeated them. He said, “God has used me to break through the enemy army like a flood.” So that place is called Baal Perazim. When the Philistines fled, they left their idols behind, and David gave orders for them to be burnt. Soon the Philistines returned to the valley and started plundering it again.

If you look at old testatment closely and follow the history of wars between the people of Israel, the Philistines and other heathen nations. If you watch closely, you will discover that the secret of the Israelites was the true and living God in their camp, who made sure their enemies were subdued before them. When God was revealing himself to the people of Israel, he made them know that he is the true and living God who cannot be seen with ordinary eyes. He revealed himself not only as a Spirit, but father of all spirits. Jesus told the woman by the well in John chapter 4 that God is capital SPIRIT, so men who must do business with him must explore the channels of the Spirit of truth. Watching closely again, you will observe that all the nations God consumed before the Israelites and gave them their territorues were idol worshippers which made them labour under divine judgement.

Men of old understood that life is spiritual. That’s the reason they never went to war without carrying their gods alongside for spiritual strength. Now the enemies of David never wanted him to ascend the throne. Once that happened, they picked offense and came to fight him by the strength of their gods. David on his path never went into any battle without consulting the living God for direction. After David defeated the Philistines, he made sure the idols they took to confront the wrong person was burnt because they couldn’t stand the presence of the God of Israel. They quickly regrouped after the first defeat. David went back to God for fresh directives. Once more David consulted God, who answered…. , “Don’t attack them from here, but go round and get ready to attack them from the other side, near the balsam trees. When you hear the sound of marching in the treetops, then attack, because I will be marching ahead of you to defeat the Philistine army.””. 1 Chronicles 14:14.-15.

As we are trusting God to end the year on a strong note, we need to stay away from anything that incures the wrath of God. As children of God we must know there are enemies, who will never want God’s plan for our lives to materialise. They pretend to be friends, but work against God’s purpose for our lives. Again, we should take full advantage of the Holy Spirit in everything we do. God is interested in every details of our lives and therefore is always willing to guide us when we give him the opportunity to do so, just like king David. Though he was a man of war, he always depended on God for directives and not just on his experience or expertise. “He will keep the feet of his saints, and the wicked shall be silent in darkness; for by strength shall no man prevail. The adversaries of the LORD shall be broken to pieces; out of heaven shall he thunder upon them: the LORD shall judge the ends of the earth; and he shall give strength unto his king, and exalt the horn of his anointed.” 1 Samuel 2:9-10 KJV.

Prayer : Thank you Father God for being interested in every details of my life. As I learn to consult you in all I do, give me results that will put my fear in the camp of my enemies in Jesus wonderful name… Amen 🙏🏿.

Take Advantage Of The Help Of God.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Tuesday September 3rd, 2024.

Topic : Take Advantage Of The Help Of God.

Memory Verse : Psalms 121:5. The Lord will guard you; he is by your side to protect you.

Bible Reading : Psalms 12:1-4 GNB. Key Verse : v3.

I look to the mountains; where will my help come from? My help will come from the Lord, who made heaven and earth. He will not let you fall; your protector is always awake. The protector of Israel never dozes or sleeps.

God created man to be interdepent on each other. This means that every man on earth needs something that the person by his side has which himself lacks. That’s the reason they say that no man can exist in isolation, just like an island. Now men has limitations in what we can do for each other. This is where the God factor comes in, to bridge the gap of limitations. I remember reading a book about the men who were able to breakthrough in life from their humble background to make something good and great out of their lives. These men had something in common about their success stories which the book referred to as the God factor. This means that it was not all about their human intelligence or input. Rather, there came a time in their lives God showed up for them and changed the game in their favour.

The Psalmist was a man who enjoyed the mercies and help of the Lord in his lifetime. He came to limelight in the first place by the mercies and help of the almighty. Nobody gave him a chance of emerging king over Israel at expense of his brothers who looked more qualified in the eyes of men. The father was about to give up after everyone he deemed fit to be presented was rejected. It was the probing question of the man of God that made the father remember that himself was out their tending the sheep. At different stages from the time he was in hiding from being killed by an angry king Saul to the time he officially became king, the mercies and help of God preserved him. “They said to him, “This is your chance! The Lord has told you that he would put your enemy in your power and you could do to him whatever you wanted to.” David crept over and cut off a piece of Saul’s robe without Saul’s knowing it.” 1 Samuel 24:4.

As we enter the beginning of the the end of the year. Remember that the Lord is always there and ever ready to help you in any area of your life where you need it. One factor that will be of help is that you have to live your life to please him as to keep enjoying his favour which will secure his help in your favour at any point in time. Another factor that will help is that you should cultivate a relationship and keep communicating with him. The relationship and channel of communication you build with him is a demonstration of the fact that your eyes are fixed on him. That will be a platform for you to always show appropriation, even as you present your needs. Never you forget that no man walking with God fails in life.

Prayer :Thank you Father God because you always care about me. I appreciate you because your love for me is not in doubt. As I look upto you in everything I do, let there be proofs of your presence in all my endeavours in Jesus wonderful name….. Amen 🙏🏿.

Yearly Bible Reading : Mathew 22:1-14.

The Power Of A Praying Man

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Monday September 2nd, 2024.

Topic : The Power Of A Praying Man.

Memory Verse : 1 Kings 18:41. And Elijah said unto Ahab, Get thee up, eat and drink; for there is a sound of abundance of rain.

Bible Reading : 1 Kings 18:42-44 KJV. Key Verse : v42.

So Ahab went up to eat and to drink. And Elijah went up to the top of Carmel; and he cast himself down upon the earth, and put his face between his knees, And said to his servant, Go up now, look toward the sea. And he went up, and looked, and said, There is nothing. And he said, Go again seven times. And it came to pass at the seventh time, that he said, Behold, there ariseth a little cloud out of the sea, like a man’s hand. And he said, Go up, say unto Ahab, Prepare thy chariot, and get thee down, that the rain stop thee not.

The secret behind the power of God that followed the ministry of Elijah was prayer. When he locked the heavens from giving neither rain nor dew, his only credential that he dangled was his ability to stand before God in prayer. Because he knew what it means to stand before God and influence things, he was able to convince heaven to withhold rain and dew from his territory till anytime he desired. His stand before God gave him control over things happening in that territory. This means that the power of prayer cannot be over emphasised. “Then Jesus told his disciples a parable to teach them that they should always pray and never become discouraged. “In a certain town there was a judge who neither feared God nor respected people. And there was a widow in that same town who kept coming to him and pleading for her rights, saying, ‘Help me against my opponent!’” Luke 18:1-3 GNB.

After drought ravaged the land for about three and a half years, Elijah that disappeared, appeared on the scene again to prove the power of God to the people, so that they could return to their God and source whom they neglected to follow idols. After dealing with the prophets of Baal on Mount Camel, he turned to the place of prayer to change the order of drought and famine. When he bent his head in between his knees, he was talking to God to unlock the heavens while he sent his servant to keep checking till they could see some sign of rain in the sky. When he got that confirmation from his servant he was bold enough to announce what he was hearing in the spirit. Already he was hearing a sound of rain roaring in the spirit and kept demanding that it becomes a reality in the physical. Because he insisted, heaven had to suspend every delays and obliged him.

In our days, the Lord still answers prayers. We as people of God must return to the place of prayer if we want to see changes in any direction in life. What Elijah did yesterday, we will be able to do today if we can pay the price of waiting in prayer before the Lord. In our main text we see a man who couldn’t take no for answer. He was consistent in sending his servant as he prayed to enforce the manifestation of what he was hearing in the spirit. “Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective. Elijah was a human being, even as we are. He prayed earnestly that it would not rain, and it did not rain on the land for three and a half years. Again he prayed, and the heavens gave rain, and the earth produced its crops.” James 5:16-18 NIV‬.

Prayer :Thank you Father God because you still answer prayers made in faith. In my days, anoint me afresh to pray down your will over my life, family and territory in Jesus precious name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Yearly Bible Reading : Mathew 21:28-46.
