Moving The Hand Of God By Sacrifice

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Tuesday December 3rd, 2024.

Topic :Moving The Hand Of God By Sacrifice.

Memory Verse : Hebrews 13:16. Do not forget to do good and to help one another, because these are the sacrifices that please God.

Bible Reading : Hebrews 13:13-15 GNB. Key Verse : v15.

Let us, then, go to him outside the camp and share his shame. For there is no permanent city for us here on earth; we are looking for the city which is to come. Let us, then, always offer praise to God as our sacrifice through Jesus, which is the offering presented by lips that confess him as Lord.

If you study the new testament closely, you will discover that the Spirit of God laid more emphasis on mercy of God instead of the sacrifices men brought to atone for their sins and other religious ritualsthey needed to carry out in the temple those days. The reason sacrifice through the high priests of old was played down in the new testament is because the sacrifice of Jesus Christ has been accepted by heaven as the ultimate sacrifice that is able to rest the issue of sin permanently or forever when we run to him for help or believe in him. “Because Jesus Christ did what God wanted him to do, we are all purified from sin by the offering that he made of his own body once and for all. Every Jewish priest performs his services every day and offers the same sacrifices many times; but these sacrifices can never take away sins. Christ, however, offered one sacrifice for sins, an offering that is effective for ever, and then he sat down at the right-hand side of God.”
PooHebrews 10:10-12.

Because God is Spirit one of the easiest ways to reach him is by sacrifice, only that the form of sacrifice needed in our days changed in some areas. David helped us understand what a sacrifice means before the Lord during his encounter with Araunah. Araunah was trying to give David his field and everything he needed to sacrifice to the Lord, but David insisted that he won’t give to God that which costs him nothing. This means that a sacrifice before the Lord is that which costs a man something. If it takes nothing significant out of us, then it’s not a sacrifice. “Araunah gave it all to the king and said to him, “May the Lord your God accept your offering.” But the king answered, “No, I will pay you for it. I will not offer to the Lord my God sacrifices that have cost me nothing.” And he bought the threshing place and the oxen for fifty pieces of silver. Then he built an altar to the Lord and offered burnt offerings and fellowship offerings. The Lord answered his prayer, and the epidemic in Israel was stopped.” 2 Samuel 24:22-24.

Meeting Christ at the gate and partaking of his shame gurrantees us a place in him through salvation which makes us partakers of his everlasting kingdom. On the other hand, we can still move his hand of divine intervention in crucial matters by some other forms of sacrifice and not the blood of animals or any other form of rituals. One of the sacrifices that God can never resist even today is that of our lips or praises. It was the key of praises he gave king Jehosaphat that made enemy nations armies kill themselves till the last man standing was no more. Reaching out to the needy is another sacrifice that God can never ignore today. Another form of sacrifice God values much in our days is that of time. The time we could use in our personal pursuits that we sacrifice to build intimacy, seek and serve him or his purpose on earth. The reason God doesn’t joke with sacrifice or those things that we do to, or with him at a cost is because they are part of our worship. In worship, we express our love and submission to him.

Prayer :Thank you Father God for giving me Jesus to die for my sins. I embrace the cross of Jesus Christ and all it stands for all my days. From today, help me to make the right sacrifices, as to always move your hand in my favour when need be in Jesus wonderful name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

It Can Never Be Late With God.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Monday December 2nd, 2024.

Topic :It Can Never Be Late With God.

Memory Verse :Genesis 21:1. God visited Sarah exactly as he said he would; God did to Sarah what he promised:

Bible Reading : Genesis 21:5-7 MSG. Key Verse : v6.

Abraham was a hundred years old when his son Isaac was born. Sarah said,God has blessed me with laughterand all who get the news will laugh with me! She also said,Whoever would have suggested to Abrahamthat Sarah would one day nurse a baby!Yet here I am! I’ve given the old man a son! .

Here we see God keep his word in the life of his servant Abraham and his wife Sarah. God had called Abraham out of his father’s house and kindred to the unknown world and unfamiliar terrain, a place God promised to show him. He obeyed the voice of the Spirit, not knowing exactly the particular place God was taking him to. The reason God couldn’t tell him details of his journey at the beginning was because God was looking for a life of deep fellowship and relationship with Abraham. He needed to depend on God continously for the next move of his life. If the entire map of his movement was given Abraham from the beginning, the major thing he will need to navigate the terrain will be his intellect. But God designed man to depend on him, therefore he will keep us at a level where we will always depend on him in taking major decisions of life. “God told Abram: “Leave your country, your family, and your father’s home for a land that I will show you. I’ll make you a great nationand bless you.I’ll make you famous;you’ll be a blessing.” Genesis 12:1-2.

The Lord kept his promises in the life of his servant Abraham. He was blessed with riches and wealth, even Lot who followed him as his nephew became rich and blessed to a point where their servants had issues pasturing their herds, to a point where they needed to part ways for peace to reign. Abraham had everything that made life good from God’s presence, but there was no child from his loins. Despite divine assurance and promises he had to wait for 25 good years for Isaac to be born. At the right time God visited Abraham in the plains of Mamre, where they related as friends. While spending time with Abraham and his wife, God told Abraham that it was time for Sarah to conceive. It sounded unbelievable, but the word of God came to fulfilment. “One of them said, “I’m coming back about this time next year. When I arrive, your wife Sarah will have a son.” Sarah was listening at the tent opening, just behind the man. Abraham and Sarah were old by this time, very old. Sarah was far past the age for having babies. Sarah laughed within herself, “An old woman like me? Get pregnant? With this old man of a husband?”” Genesis 18:10-12.

Because it was God’s time, the mistakes of Abraham who thought he could have a child his own way, the doubts, unbelieving laughter and denials of Sarah couldn’t stop God. When Isaac finally landed as promised by God, the laughter of Sarah became louder and contagious because she was amazed by the deeds of the Almighty. At this point of the year, when we are into the last month and it’s just a matter of weeks and days before the year winds up, God is about to fulfil that which he had spoken concerning you. The Lord is about to visit you just as he did to Sarah to take away every reproach and replace them with testimonies. Whatever you can believe God for between now and 31st of this month is possible by divine visitation. “It seemed like a dream, too good to be true, when God returned Zion’s exiles. We laughed, we sang,we couldn’t believe our good fortune. We were the talk of the nations—”God was wonderful to them!”” Psalms 126:1-2.

Prayer : Thank you Father God because no man following you fails in life. Thank you for your promises over my life can never fail. Thank you because my expectation in you won’t be cut short. Thank you because of testimonies that will make me laugh and rejoice in Jesus wonderful name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Mind The Gospel Your Subscribed To.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Sunday December 1st, 2024.

Topic :Mind The Gospel Your Subscribed To.

Memory Verse :2 Timothy 4:4. They’ll turn their backs on truth and chase mirages.

Bible Reading: 2 Timothy 4:2-3 MSG. Key Verse : v3.

so proclaim the Message with intensity; keep on your watch. Challenge, warn, and urge your people. Don’t ever quit. Just keep it simple. You’re going to find that there will be times when people will have no stomach for solid teaching, but will fill up on spiritual junk food—catchy opinions that tickle their fancy.

Apostle Paul warned his son Timothy and ourselves about the attitude of men who will fill our Churches in the last days, which is where we are now. Such people will not be willing to endure sound doctrine or teaching from the word of God. They will not have regard for the sound word of God that transforms men and equip them for kingdom service. They won’t go after things that are of eternal value, which stands the test of time and which God values most. They will heap upon themselves men or teachers who care less about their spiritual well being, and major on things that are passing away with time which amounts to vanity. Such men love entertainment instead of edification or things that build men up spiritually. “So the one who came down is the same one who went up, above and beyond the heavens, to fill the whole universe with his presence. It was he who “gave gifts”; he appointed some to be apostles, others to be prophets, others to be evangelists, others to be pastors and teachers. He did this to prepare all God’s people for the work of Christian service, in order to build up the body of Christ.” Ephesians 4:10-12 GNB.

Any message that cannot bring men to repentance from sin and create an urge or hunger for more of God and his righteousness and presence in the lives of the people cannot help the spiritual life of men. Such messages helps to prepare men to spend eternity with God, having pleased him in their lifetime. One thing that makes Christianity unique is that it leads men to the true God and creator of the universe through his son Jesus Christ for the salvation of their soul. “For if the dead are not raised, neither has Christ been raised. And if Christ has not been raised, then your faith is a delusion and you are still lost in your sins. It would also mean that the believers in Christ who have died are lost. If our hope in Christ is good for this life only and no more, then we deserve more pity than anyone else in all the world.” 1 Corinthians 15:16-19 GNB.

We need to conduct a critical analysis on ourselves as individual believers. We need to know or be sure of the type of gospel we have subscribed to. We need to ask ourselves if such gospel has what it takes to help us make it to God’s presence in victory on the last day. Everything we are cummulating here on earth, we shall leave behind one day soon to meet our creator as we answer the call of nature. Many people are staying on junk, they lack depths in many things that are transient, but not with God their creator and the source of true life. “For this reason we never become discouraged. Even though our physical being is gradually decaying, yet our spiritual being is renewed day after day. And this small and temporary trouble we suffer will bring us a tremendous and eternal glory, much greater than the trouble. For we fix our attention, not on things that are seen, but on things that are unseen. What can be seen lasts only for a time, but what cannot be seen lasts for ever.” 2 Corinthians 4:16-18 GNB.

Prayer :Thank you Father God because it is your will that I spend eternity with you. Help me therefore to love you from the depths of my heart, as to endure sound teaching that will help my spiritual life. Thank you because I will finish strong by the help of your Spirit in Jesus precious name….. Amen 🙏🏿.

Never You Give Up

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS,

Saturday November 30th, 2024.

Topic :Never You Give Up.

Memory Verse :Hebrews 10:38. My righteous people, however, will believe and live; but if any of them turns back, I will not be pleased with him.”

Bible Reading :Hebrews 10:35-37 GNB. Key Verse: v35.

Do not lose your courage, then, because it brings with it a great reward. You need to be patient, in order to do the will of God and receive what he promises. For, as the scripture says: “Just a little while longer, and he who is coming will come; he will not delay.

Every believer in Christ Jesus has been called to walk with God. This walk is to help us understand his personality in order to live lives that are pleasing to him. Now we need to understand that what when God was creating man, what was uppermost in his heart was relationship. That is the reason he made certain investments in man that is peculiar. “So God made them all, and he was pleased with what he saw. Then God said, “And now we will make human beings; they will be like us and resemble us. They will have power over the fish, the birds, and all animals, domestic and wild, large and small.” So God created human beings, making them to be like himself. He created them male and female,” Genesis 1:24-26. The major reason man was created in God’s semblance or likeness is for relationship or companionship sake.

This relationship was broken at Genesis chapter 3 at the fall. At the point of redemption, we get restored to the original plan of God of man living in God’s presence. God in his wisdom gave us his Spirit to help us secure our restored state in him. By the help of the Spirit of God at work in us we are able to do things that glorify him. Now in this restored state, one thing that will help our stand in him is to live with the consciousness that he is the senior partner in our relationship with him. To that extent we have to follow his timing. One of the things God teaches us in his school of relationship is patience which also is a fruit of the Spirit. “We also boast of our troubles, because we know that trouble produces endurance, endurance brings God’s approval, and his approval creates hope. This hope does not disappoint us, for God has poured out his love into our hearts by means of the Holy Spirit, who is God’s gift to us.” Romans 5:3-5.

Today there are many of us who have some unfinished business with God who are thinking that God is taking too much time. Some are growing weak within and started to doubt God and his genuine messengers of hope because of pressures of daily life. To such people, the Spirit is reminding us that God can never be late. I discovered in my personal study that most time when God delay stuffs, there are good reasons and that at last, such things always come as special packages. Here need to understand that patience survives on hope, we can’t therefore afford to loose hope in him who can do all things and at his own perfect timing. I once heard a man of God say that our waiting time is not our washing time. Any man that must go far with God must understand that the waiting time is always a preparation time before the Lord. Another word for courage is confidence. “Be determined and confident, for you will be the leader of these people as they occupy this land which I promised their ancestors. Just be determined, be confident; and make sure that you obey the whole Law that my servant Moses gave you. Do not neglect any part of it and you will succeed wherever you go.” Joshua 1:6-7.

Prayer :Thank you Father God because you are too faithful to fail me. Help me to walk and live in your presence all my days. Keep me in the paths of faith in hope however fierce the battle may seem. I will stay with you till everlasting victory in Jesus wonderful name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Victory In The Word.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Friday November 29th, 2024.

Topic :Victory In The Word.

Memory Verse :
John 6:63. What gives life is God’s Spirit; human power is of no use at all. The words I have spoken to you bring God’s life-giving Spirit.

Bible Reading : Matthew 13:31-32 GNB. Key Verse : v32.

Jesus told them another parable: “The Kingdom of heaven is like this. A man takes a mustard seed and sows it in his field. It is the smallest of all seeds, but when it grows up, it is the biggest of all plants. It becomes a tree, so that birds come and make their nests in its branches.”

In Mathew chapter 13 Jesus Christ began to teach deep truths about the kingdom of God using parables. He was trying to teach them the power that is found in the word of God when they are properly nurtured or handled by the receiver. He used the parable of the sower and the soil to explain the reason many people hear same word of God per time, yet the results they get from such exposures vary from individuals. In summary, the word of God is able to affect desired transformational effect on the hearers to the extent that these individuals are open and receptive. Now, the word of God is the most effective instrument to change men and their [conditions when their heart are in the right condition that will cause the word of God as released or spoken to produce results in their lives, as demonstrated in the parable of the sower (preacher or teacher) and the soil (the heart condition of the receiver). Mathew 13:1-23.

At this point, Jesus was trying to use the parable of the mustard seed and the birds to explain the power and authority that is hidden in the word of God. Sometimes the word on the surface may look insignificant and ordinary just like the mustered seed which is one of the tiniest seed one can find anywhere, yet it is always laden with capacity to bring forth a great tree that becomes a shelter for many birds. This means that God’s word are laden with ability to affect drastic changes in the lives of men because they are agents of divine transformation. The word of God is a a carrier of the life and Spirit of God in his creative nature. Because it’s a seed it has life inside it and therefore sprouts to life once sown on the right soil. It doesn’t stop there, the word of God produces desired results or transformational changes in the lives of men who was represented as birds finding shelter on Jesus who is the tree of life or source of eternal life. When properly nurtured or groomed, the word becomes a great tree that provides shelter for as many as need it, just the way birds need to pearch on branches of a tree.,

“One day when Jesus was teaching, some Pharisees and teachers of the Law were sitting there who had come from every town in Galilee and Judea and from Jerusalem. The power of the Lord was present for Jesus to heal the sick. Some men came carrying a paralysed man on a bed, and they tried to take him into the house and put him in front of Jesus. Because of the crowd, however, they could find no way to take him in. So they carried him up on the roof, made an opening in the tiles, and let him down on his bed into the middle of the group in front of Jesus.” Luke 5:17-19.. Right there the man that was paralysed was healed instantly by Jesus Christ. Today there many running from pillar to post seeking solutions who need to sit down and be taught the word that is able to heal and deliver when received by faith. I have seen people share great testimonies under the atmosphere of listening to the world of God.

Prayer :Thank you Lord Jesus for the power in your word. Let my heart by receptive to your word in faith. Let the word begin to affect transformational changes in my life and deliver uncommon testimonies to me as I yield in Jesus wonderful name…. Amen.

Programmed To Prevail.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Thursday November 28th, 2024.

Topic : Programmed To Prevail.

Memory Verse :John 7:41. Others said, “He is the Messiah!”But others said, “The Messiah will not come from Galilee!

Bible Reading :John 7:37-39 GNB. Key Verse : v38.

On the last and most important day of the festival Jesus stood up and said in a loud voice, “Whoever is thirsty should come to me, and whoever believes in me should drink. As the scripture says, ‘Streams of life-giving water will pour out from his side.’ “Jesus said this about the Spirit, which those who believed in him were going to receive. At that time the Spirit had not yet been given, because Jesus had not been raised to glory.

Jesus Christ had attended the feast of tabernacle or booths where the Jews celebrated their wilderness experience when they lived in booths or temporary shelters on their way to the land of promise. They celebrated divine sustainance and provisions through unfamiliar terrains. At this point, when it was the final day of this feast, he began an open ministerarion trying to redirect the people to what the mind of the Holy Spirit was at that point in time. The people was trying to live in their past while Jesus was trying to introduce them into the present and future that was with them, which they didn’t understand. At this point God was shifting emphasis on where men lived to where himself intends to live by his Spirit of grace. “God, who made the world and everything in it, is Lord of heaven and earth and does not live in temples made by human hands. Nor does he need anything that we can supply by working for him, since it is he himself who gives life and breath and everything else to everyone. From one human being he created all races on earth and made them live throughout the whole earth. He himself fixed beforehand the exact times and the limits of the places where they would live.” Acts 17:24-26.

Those days men out of ignorance tried to confine God to certain physical locations, buildings or temples. Right there in the temple, Jesus began to introduced an era where a man’s God don’t need to be somewhere while himself goes about feeling empty. Because he knows there are battles to fight and victories to win, he wants to help you as our ever present help in times of trouble or need. This help come from within through his indwelling Spirit who empowers you to walk above the limitations of the human nature. When he died on the cross, he paid for our sins with his own blood, so that when we believe in him, he can live in us by his Spirit of grace and adoption. We now become members of his household and do stuffs together as partners in progress. “Listen! I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with them, and they will eat with me. To those who win the victory I will give the right to sit beside me on my throne, just as I have been victorious and now sit by my Father on his throne. “If you have ears, then, listen to what the Spirit says to the churches!”” Revelation 3:20-22.

Today if you believe in Jesus and his Spirit is living in you, understand that you have what it takes to overcome every challenges of life and be a blessing. The Spirit of God in you means that you are going to live the rest of your life in endless possibilities. Jesus told the Samaritan woman by the well in John chapter 4 that if anyone drinks the water of his Spirit. This same Spirit will become a well of water in his belly or spirit man springing or running ceaselessly unto eternity. At this point, you don’t need to run from pillar to post to receive help, because you have been programmed to receive every nedded help in life from within by his Spirit. The reason many live otherwise is because of spiritual laziness among believers. Paul was writing his son Timothy and asked him to take responsibility to fan the gift of God he received by impartation or laying of hand into flames. Many don’t service the Spirit of God in them, they neglect it till it becomes weak and comatose. A man of God once said that whatever you don’t value exits your life because you won’t be to maintain or retain such. See Romans 8:5-10.

Prayer :Thank you Father God for giving me Jesus. Thank you Lord Jesus for giving me your Spirit. Help me to take responsibility to fan your Spirit into burning fire in me. Help me to take advantage of your presence in me to walk in perpetual victory and be a blessing all my days in Jesus wonderful name….. Amen 🙏🏿.

Take Advantage Of His Grace And Comfort

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Wednesday November 27th, 2024.

Topic :Take Advantage Of His Grace And Comfort.

Memory Verse :Isaiah 40:5. Then the glory of the Lord will be revealed, and the whole human race will see it. The Lord himself has promised this.”

Bible Reading :Isaiah 40:2-4 GNB. Key Verse : v3.

Encourage the people of Jerusalem. Tell them they have suffered long enough and their sins are now forgiven. I have punished them in full for all their sins. ”A voice cries out, “Prepare in the wilderness a road for the Lord! Clear the way in the desert for our God! Fill every valley; level every mountain. The hills will become a plain,  and the rough country will be made smooth.

One thing about the word of God is that because it carries the Spirit and life of God, it doesn’t loose it’s power in any generation. Till Christ returns every scripture will keep producing results for mankind in general and for God’s people in particular, that is those who believe in his name. The word of comfort here is not only for the people of Jerusalem whom God in his love decided to show mercy, but all mankind. The people of God those days had very ugly experiences in the hands of nations that took them captive out of their rebellion to the Lord. In the midst of their troubles, God always came through for them as his beloved children, whom he couldn’t abandon forever. “Sing, heavens! Shout for joy, earth! Let the mountains burst into song! The Lord will comfort his people; he will have pity on his suffering people. But the people of Jerusalem said, “The Lord has abandoned us! He has forgotten us.” So the Lord answers, “Can a woman forget her own baby and not love the child she bore? Even if a mother should forget her child, I will never forget you.” Isaiah 49:13-15.

When the prophet talked about the glory of God being revealed to the human race, he was talking about the revelation Jesus Christ who is the express image of God. John confirmed him to be the creator and glory revealed. That is God at the level where we mortals can handle and relate with in our frail and fragile nature and be safe. John bore testimony of this and Jesus Christ himself confirmed his assignment. “What did you go out to see? A man dressed up in fancy clothes? People who dress like that live in palaces! Tell me, what did you go out to see? A prophet? Yes indeed, but you saw much more than a prophet. For John is the one of whom the scripture says: ‘God said, I will send my messenger ahead of you to open the way for you.’ I assure you that John the Baptist is greater than anyone who has ever lived. But the one who is least in the Kingdom of heaven is greater than John.” Matthew 11:8-11.

“Grace be to you and peace from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ. Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God. For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also aboundeth by Christ.” 2 Corinthians 1:2-5. The comfort of God in our generation is packaged in his son Jesus Christ. We access it by faith in his name as saviour through his Spirit given to us when we believe. The package itself in summary is called GRACE. Grace makes our journey worthwhile and his Spirit who guides us keeps us on the paths of safety and his blessings. The key to accessing this grace is repentance which activates the process of healing, restoration and recovery.

Prayer : Thank you Father God for giving me Jesus to save my soul. Thank you for the gift of your Spirit who is the comforter. Help me to to take advantage of the Spirit of grace to walk in perpetual victory all my days in Jesus precious name… Amen 🙏🏿.

Live To Honour God.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Tuesday November 26th, 2024.

Topic :Live To Honour God.

Memory Verse :Proverbs 18:15 The spiritually hungry are always ready to learn more, for their hearts are eager to discover new truths.

Bible Reading :Proverbs 18:10-12 TPT Keys Verse : v11.

The character of God is a tower of strength, for the lovers of God delight to run into his heart and be exalted on high. The rich, in their conceit, imagine that their wealth is enough to protect them. It becomes their confidence in a day of trouble. A man’s heart is the proudest when his downfall is nearest, for he won’t see glory until the Lord sees humility.

The book of proverbs is one that teaches us timeless wisdom. There is an earthly wisdom that operates with our senses which is not enough to guarantee anyone a successful earthly journey. This is because the battles of life sometimes are beyond what our human senses can comprehend or handle. That is where God and the owner spirit realm comes to bear. Naturally money and riches are a defense to a very large extent in life that they can solve almost every problems of man. We don’t have to be lazy therefore, but work as God grants us grace to be blessed materially. “When someone is too lazy to repair his roof, it will leak, and the house will fall in. Feasting makes you happy and wine cheers you up, but you can’t have either without money. Don’t criticize the king, even silently, and don’t criticize the rich, even in the privacy of your bedroom. A bird might carry the message and tell them what you said.” Ecclesiastes 10:18-20.

But when we have acquired riches and wealth, we don’t have to put our mind on them, but God who enables us to have such. In every success story of any sincere man, there is always a God factor. This means that they were able to attain some enviable heights because God showed up and blessed their labour with uncommon results. For this and other reasons, we don’t put our confidence in life therefore on material things neither should we live for the singular purpose of pursuing them, but we should keep our hearts with the one who created all things, who is also the giver of wealth and riches. This will help us use such blessings of God to serve his rightful purposes in our lifetime. I want to believe that many God have blessed will regret when they meet God at last because they didn’t use such to serve the purpose for which God make them custodians of such in their lifetime. “This is what I will do,’ he told himself; ‘I will tear down my barns and build bigger ones, where I will store my corn and all my other goods. Then I will say to myself, Lucky man! You have all the good things you need for many years. Take life easy, eat, drink, and enjoy yourself!’ But God said to him, ‘You fool! This very night you will have to give up your life; then who will get all these things you have kept for yourself?’ ”” Luke 12:18-20.

Jesus told this parable about one whom the Bible referred to as a rich fool. God blessed this very man with an uncommon result in his harvest season as a farmer and he couldn’t see God all his achievements, neither did he care to know what God desired from him in the midst of success. Rather, he was full of himself and all his plan was centered around him from beginning to the end. He had no place for God, not to talk about his kingdom or righteousness. In the midst of his pride, ingratitude towards God and selfishness, God decided to take his life. “To be wise you must first have reverence for the Lord. If you know the Holy One, you have understanding. Wisdom will add years to your life. Faith That Unlocks Divine Intervention

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Monday November 25th, 2024.

Topic : Faith That Unlocks Divine Intervention.

Memory Verse :Luke 7:9. Jesus was surprised when he heard this; he turned round and said to the crowd following him, “I tell you, I have never found faith like this, not even in Israel!”

Bible Reading :Luke 7:6-8 GNB. Key Verse : v7.

So Jesus went with them. He was not far from the house when the officer sent friends to tell him, “Sir, don’t trouble yourself. I do not deserve to have you come into my house, neither do I consider myself worthy to come to you in person. Just give the order, and my servant will get well. I, too, am a man placed under the authority of superior officers, and I have soldiers under me. I order this one, ‘Go!’ and he goes; I order that one, ‘Come!’ and he comes; and I order my slave, ‘Do this!’ and he does it.”

Jesus had just entered the city of capernaum and a Roman commander whose servant was sick to the point of death heard of his presence in town and sent some Jewish elders to Christ, so that he could come and heal his servant. Jesus was on the way to his house when the Roman commander sent another set of messengers to Jesus that met him on the way to express his reverence for Jesus and his ministry and to plead with him not to bother coming to his house because he feels unworthy to host Jesus Christ under his roof. The commander expressed his understanding of Jesus as a man who had capacity to bring to pass anything he says as a man whose words carries power or who is under authority. He explained his understanding of the workings of authority by his own personal experience as a commander.

Jesus Christ himself was touched by the uncommon understanding and faith exhibited by this commander who wasn’t even a Jew in the first place. “I, too, am a man placed under the authority of superior officers, and I have soldiers under me. I order this one, ‘Go!’ and he goes; I order that one, ‘Come!’ and he comes; and I order my slave, ‘Do this!’ and he does it.” Jesus was surprised when he heard this; he turned round and said to the crowd following him, “I tell you, I have never found faith like this, not even in Israel!” The messengers went back to the officer’s house and found his servant well.” Luke 7: 8-10.

As this month and year is winding up gradually by the seconds, anything you desire from God’s presence that will better your life this season is possible, if you can trust Jesus ability and capacity to deliver on his words just like this Roman commander. Jesus taught the word that things which are impossible with men are always possible with God Almighty, if we can only believe in his ability to deliver on his promises. For whatever you are trusting God for, there is a word that addressed such in the scripture. Because scriptures are not ordinary words, but carriers of the Spirit and Life of Christ, anytime they are applied to any given situation in faith, they always produce extraordinary results. “Jesus answered them, “Have faith in God. I assure you that whoever tells this hill to get up and throw itself in the sea and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says will happen, it will be done for him. For this reason I tell you: when you pray and ask for something, believe that you have received it, and you will be given whatever you ask for.” Mark 11:22-24.

Prayer :Thank you Lord Jesus because with you all things are possible. I thank you because your word can never fail to produce results, even in my own life and situation. Today, I ask that you…… (mention your requests to the master). Thank you for your intervention in Jesus wonderful name… Amen 🙏🏿.

Blessed By Covenant

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Sunday November 24th, 2024.

Topic : Blessed By Covenant.

Memory Verse :
Deuteronomy 7:11. So now, obey what you have been taught; obey all the laws that I have given you today.

Bible Reading : Deuteronomy 7:14-16 GNB. Key Verse : v 15.

No people in the world will be as richly blessed as you. None of you nor any of your livestock will be sterile. The Lord will protect you from all sickness, and he will not bring on you any of the dreadful diseases that you experienced in Egypt, but he will bring them on all your enemies. Destroy every nation that the Lord your God places in your power, and do not show them any mercy. Do not worship their gods, for that would be fatal.

The book of Deuteronomy contains the farewell messages of Moses before he went to be with the Lord. Because he knew that he would soon be taken from among the people as their leader, he took time to minister to them and to prepare them for life after his departure. The promises of God to these men of old remains effective and efficient even in our own dispensation. Through God’s dealings with them, we learn to walk with God by covenant or agreement which places the responsibility of obedience to the commands of the Almighty on us which makes it possible for himself to keep his part of the bargain. In this chapter, the Lord instructed his people to avoid intermarriage with idol worshipping nations whom the Lord was dispossesing to establish them, so that they won’t incure the wrath of God and bring divine judgement upon themselves and their children. The people of God was instructed to pull down their abominable alters emitting pollution over the land. Deuteronomy 7:3-6.

Two things they were assured of in this chapter when the obey the voice of the Lord. The first one was the assurance of material blessings, so that they could have a good life here on earth. ““If you listen to these commands and obey them faithfully, then the Lord your God will continue to keep his covenant with you and will show you his constant love, as he promised your ancestors. He will love you and bless you, so that you will increase in number and have many children; he will bless your fields, so that you will have corn, wine, and olive oil; and he will bless you by giving you a lot of cattle and sheep. He will give you all these blessings in the land that he promised your ancestors he would give to you. No people in the world will be as richly blessed as you. None of you nor any of your livestock will be sterile.” Deuteronomy 7:12-13-14. It’s good to point out here that our ancestors are men of old who lived to serve and please God like Abraham, Daniel, Paul, Peter, etc.

Another thing the people of God enjoyed while they walked in obedience to the commands of the Lord was divine Health and healing. The Lord assured that sicknesses and afflictions was not meant for them, but people who hate and work against them as witnessed in the lives of the people of Egypt who oppressed the people of God. On a conclusive note, I want us to understand that everything the Lord promised the people of Israel are ours today in Christ Jesus. Not only that because we operate a better covenant than the Israelites, we are not only sure of material and earthly blessings, but all the spiritual blessings in the heavenlies are ours today by the help of the Holy Spirit who lives in us and connects us permanently to the heavenlies. “Let us give thanks to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! For in our union with Christ he has blessed us by giving us every spiritual blessing in the heavenly world.” Ephesians 1’3.

Prayer :Thank you Father God for blessing me beyond every curses. Help me to understand these blessings of yours as given to me and teach me to walk in them maximally in Jesus wonderful name….. Amen 🙏🏿.
