You Have Become Unstoppable.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Topic :You Have Become Unstoppable.

Memory Verse:Numbers 23:19. God is not like men, who lie; He is not a human who changes his mind. Whatever he promises, he does; He speaks, and it is done.

Bible Reading :Numbers 23:20-22 GNB. Key Verse : v21.

I have been instructed to bless, And when God blesses, I cannot call it back. I foresee that Israel’s future Will bring her no misfortune or trouble. The Lord their God is with them; They proclaim that he is their king. God has brought them out of Egypt; He fights for them like a wild ox.

The people of Israel were on a journey of destiny as they left Egypt under the leadership of Moses the servant of God. Balak King of the Moabites heard of the strength of the Israelites and the destruction they brought upon their enemies on the way to the promised land and was terrified. The leaders of the Moabites and the Amorites joined forces to hire Balaam a prophet to help them curse the people of God, so that they could face and prevail over them. “The Moabites said to the leaders of the Midianites, “This horde will soon destroy everything round us, like a bull eating the grass in a pasture.” So King Balak sent messengers to summon Balaam son of Beor, who was at Pethor near the River Euphrates in the land of Amaw. They brought him this message from Balak: “I want you to know that a whole nation has come from Egypt; its people are spreading out everywhere and threatening to take over our land.” Numbers 22:4-5.

Initially Balaam refused to even answer Balak, who prevailed over him with time. Even on arrival, every efforts channelled towards cursing God’s people refused to work. The more they tried to raise altars to curse the people of God, the more the Spirit of God confirmed the blessing of the people of God till the enemies of the people of God was totally frustrated. “God said to Balaam, “Do not go with these men, and do not put a curse on the people of Israel, because they have my blessing.” The next morning Balaam went to Balak’s messengers and said, “Go back home; the Lord has refused to let me go with you.” So they returned to Balak and told him that Balaam had refused to come with them. Then Balak sent a larger number of leaders, who were more important than the first.” Numbers 22:12-15.

“God has brought them out of Egypt; He fights for them like a wild ox. There is no magic charm, no witchcraft, That can be used against the nation of Israel. Now people will say about Israel, ‘Look what God has done!’ The nation of Israel is like a mighty lion: It doesn’t rest until it has torn and devoured, Until it has drunk the blood of those it has killed.”” Numbers 23:22-24. The more Balak tried to use Balaam to curse God’s people, the more the Lord confirmed his irreversible blessing upon his people. Here it was confirmed that the secret of the Israelites was the God who brought them out of Egypt with a mighty hand, who fights for them like a wild ox to defend his purpose in their lives. Today what God said about these Israelites, he is saying concerning your journey in life from now onwards. As long as you stay with him, you shall become unstoppable because he will be the one fighting for you till everlasting victory.

Prayer :Thank you Father God because whatever good works you began in my life, you shall perfect. Thank you because as I stand in the paths of righteousness and truth, you will fight my battles, and I will hold my peace till everlasting victory in Jesus wonderful name….. Amen 🙏🏿.

Time To Follow Jesus.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Thursday January 2nd, 2025.

Topic : Time To Follow Jesus.

Memory Verse: Luke 5:32. I have not come to call respectable people to repent, but outcasts.”

Bible Reading :Luke 5:27-29 GNB. Key Verse : v27.

After this, Jesus went out and saw a tax collector named Levi, sitting in his office. Jesus said to him, “Follow me.” Levi got up, left everything, and followed him. Then Levi had a big feast in his house for Jesus, and among the guests was a large number of tax collectors and other people.

Here we see Jesus call Levi unto himself. The instruction was very clear and he said “follow me”. The Bible said that he didn’t make any consultations, but left everything as it were and followed the master. That was because he saw it as a thing of honour to be part of team Jesus. He didn’t stop there, to further show his appreciation and sense of fulfillment, he threw a banquet to celebrate Jesus and the new work he began in his life. The Pharisees and some teachers of the law who were in attendance began to wonder the type of spiritual leader or prophet Jesus mighty be (because they never knew he was God which he proved by forgiving sin when he healed the paralytic). Jesus knowing they were reasoning it amongst themselves had to open up to address the issue by letting them know that he came to change the lives of sick men or sinners and not to condemn them.

The people were looking at the past failures and mistakes of those people Jesus was bringing close and condemning them, but Jesus was seeing the great things he would achieve with them after he had changed their lives. Jesus was seeing beyond their weaknesses into the future strength his walk with them will infuse into their lives for great and mighty things. A man like Peter would have lived and died a nobody without coming in contact with Christ Jesus and being convinced to keep everything he knew and did to follow Jesus. That very decision introduced him to dimensions that made things happen in his life. Today we read about him all over the world. “But Peter said to him, “I have no money at all, but I give you what I have: in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth I order you to get up and walk! Then he took him by his right-hand and helped him up. At once the man’s feet and ankles became strong;” Acts 3:6-7.

Because this season is a season of new beginning, Jesus is reaching out us once again as he did to Levi. He is asking us to follow him in this new year, as he told others whom he made in the Bible. In this new year and season, we have to follow Jesus for a different kind of result from what we had known before now. If you have been following before now, make sure you take your walk deeper with him. When you follow him, his presence will build a wall of defense and protection around you. Another benefit of following him is that he will teach you deep things that will change your life and make you a blessing. Following Jesus will grant you access to divine intelligence by the help of his indwelling Spirit that will be at work in you. That will always keep you ahead of the enemy and his devices. The Spirit of God will help you in every of your endeavours and teach you how to make the best of your life or maximise your potential or impact in whatever you do that is good.

Prayer : Thank you Father God for the opportunity to start afresh with you this season and new year. Help me to follow you in everything I do. Teach me the ways of life and make me a success story in Jesus wonderful name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Beginning The Right Way.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Wednesday January 1st, 2025.

Topic : Beginning The Right Way.

Memory Verse:Genesis 8:22. As long as the world exists, there will be a time for planting and a time for harvest. There will always be cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night.”

Genesis 8:19-21 GNB. Key Verse :v21.

All the animals and birds went out of the boat in groups of their own kind. Noah built an altar to the Lord; he took one of each kind of ritually clean animal and bird, and burnt them whole as a sacrifice on the altar. The odour of the sacrifice pleased the Lord, and he said to himself, “Never again will I put the earth under a curse because of what people do; I know that from the time they are young their thoughts are evil. Never again will I destroy all living beings, as I have done this time.

During the days of Noah, wickedness and ungodliness became the order of the day because the people became corrupt as some angels had affair with some beautiful earthly ladies and they produced wicked giants. Because evil was widespread among men, God decided to end that generation with a flood. At the same time, he found Noah to be different in his days because he was righteous. God commissioned him therefore to build an ark with which he was able to save a remnant unto the Lord. “But the Lord was pleased with Noah. God said to Noah, “I have decided to put an end to the whole human race. I will destroy them completely, because the world is full of their violent deeds. Build a boat for yourself out of good timber; make rooms in it and cover it with tar inside and out. Make it 133 metres long, 22 metres wide, and thirteen metres high.” Genesis 6:8.12-14.

After Noah finished building the ark, men of his days refused to enter unto the salvation of their souls. They couldn’t believe the message of Noah who went about doing the work of an evangelist. When the days of grace elapsed, God ordered Noah to save a remnant through his family with animals who followed him into the ark. After they boarded, the Lord destroyed every form of rebellious creatures (men) with rain from the heavens and water from the deep. For 40 days and nights the deep opened up and the heavens gave rain till every living thing that had life was wiped out. For 150 days the whole earth was flooded, after which the Lord caused the flood to reced till the 7th day of the 7th month, that the ark finally landed on Mount Ararat. At that point, Noah and all that was with him was able to disembark for a normal life on earth again. That was a new beginning.

It is good to note the first thing Noah did as he disembarked from the ark with his family and every animals that went in with him was to build an altar and sacrifice to the Lord. “So Noah went out of the boat with his wife, his sons, and their wives. All the animals and birds went out of the boat in groups of their own kind. Noah built an altar to the Lord; he took one of each kind of ritually clean animal and bird, and burnt them whole as a sacrifice on the altar.” Genesis 8:18-20.. Today we can see that the first thing Noah did was to build an altar and sacrificed unto the Lord. This pleased and moved God to initiate a new covenant for a new beginning with man because of the actions of Noah. This new year, we need to borrow a leaf from Noah. We must build the altar of God first in our hearts to strengthen our relationship with him and make ourselves living sacrifices before his throne. As we identify with his cause or live to please him, he will initiate covenants and projects that will change our lives and situations for good without struggles.

Prayer :Thank you Father God because you are the God of season and time. As you open a new season of my life this year, help me to make myself your altar and let my entire being be a living sacrifice that pleases you. On this foundation, I will soar in your strength and do great things this new season and year in Jesus wonderful name….. Amen 🙏🏿.

Praising And Thanking God Into Your Victory

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Tuesday December 31st, 2024.

Topic : Praising And Thanking God Into Your Victory.

Memory Verse: Psalm 47:6. Sing and celebrate! Sing some more, celebrate some more! Sing your highest song of praise to our King!

Bible Reading : Psalm 47:7-9 TPT. Key Verse : v9.

For God is the triumphant King; the powers of earth are all his. So sing your celebration songs of highest praise to the glorious Enlightened One! Our God reigns over every nation. He reigns on his holy throne over all. All the nobles and princes, the loving servants of the God of Abraham, they all gather to worship. Every warrior’s shield is now lowered as surrendered trophies before this King. He has taken his throne, high and lofty, exalted over all!

This is a season of thanksgiving and praises unto the most high as we worship him. A time to appreciate the creator of the universe and preserver of life for keeping us through an entire year and giving us victory over challenges that came our way. It is time to count our trophies with the understanding that our strength and wisdom as men is not the reason we are able to get where we are, but because God Almighty was on our side. “What if God had not been on our side? Let all Israel admit this! What if God had not been there for us? Our enemies, in their violent anger, would have swallowed us up alive! The nations, with their flood of rage, would have swept us away and we would have drowned, perished beneath their torrent of terror!” Psalm 124:1-4.

We must realise that the Lord rules over nations and therefore he is the final abitar in any matter. This means that his decisions on any given situation cannot be upturned or challenged in any realm because he is the highest authority in the entire universe. We are alive and safe anywhere we find ourselves because he preserved our souls from the forays of the adversary. Even when the enemy came out in his strength to devour, the Lord caused their activities to in futility, as the couldn’t achieve their aim. Our secret has been the presence of the Lord of host and the shout of the most high king in our camp. “God has brought them out of Egypt; He fights for them like a wild ox.! There is no magic charm, no witchcraft, That can be used against the nation of Israel. Now people will say about Israel, ‘Look what God has done!’ The nation of Israel is like a mighty lion: It doesn’t rest until it has torn and devoured, Until it has drunk the blood of those it has killed.”” Numbers 23:22-24 GNB.

This day and season, we have to recognise the presence of the eternal rock of ages that saw us through every wilderness of life and challenges that would have seen our end, had it been that he was not there for us. We have to lift our voices in praise to his name and power. We are to praise our God and Rock into the new year. As we praise him, in his usual manner, he will lay ambush against any hidden and outstanding enemies of our soul till they kill themselves. For ourselves, it is a season of harvest of more victories and our access key is his high praise and thanksgiving. As we rejoice in what the Lord has done and return due glory to him, he will launch us into unimaginable victories in 2025. Whatever you can thank God and praise him for in anticipatory faith this time becomes yours in him, because of his faithfulness to his people. “Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.” Philippians 4:6 KJV. Praisefulness and thankfulness are keys into new realms of victory this season.

Prayer :Father God I give you praise for all you have done in my life, family, business, ministry, career, etc. Thank you because your hand has always given me victory and brought me this far in life. As I praise and thank you, am being launched by you into new realms of victories and possibilities in Jesus wonderful name… Amen 🙏🏿.

Time To Pay Your Vows.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Monday December 30th, 2024.

Topic : Time To Pay Your Vows.

Memory Verse :Psalms 50:14. Let the giving of thanks be your sacrifice to God, and give the Almighty all that you promised.

Bible Reading :Psalms 50:10-12 GNB. Key Verse: v12.

all the animals in the forest are mine and the cattle on thousands of hills. All the wild birds are mine and all living things in the fields. “If I were hungry, I would not ask you for food, for the world and everything in it is mine.

Many people sometimes think that they are doing God some favour when they serve him. That is the reason they handle things that concerns their relationship with God carelessly. Many are taking some break from God’s presence as much as they can to do other things to service their personal cravings at this point in time in the year. They are carried away by eating, drinking and celebrations in town and seems to forget God. Some others are very good in making unkept promises or vows to God when they are in tight corners, once he delivers them from their troubles, they continue with their daily affairs without paying their vows to God. Such individuals in their selfishness and forgetfulness are always thronging God with list of stuffs they want him to do for them. They are never satisfied, neither do they really take time to thank, praise and appreciate him for all the good things he does.

This time of the year, it’s good to take inventory of ourselves in view to appreciate God who is the giver of all things that are good. It is time to start thanking him for keeping us from the beginning of the last days and hours of the year, as we trust his benevolence to carry us into a new year. “Praise the Lord, my soul!  All my being, praise his holy name! Praise the Lord, my soul, and do not forget how kind he is. He forgives all my sins and heals all my diseases. He keeps me from the grave and blesses me with love and mercy.” Psalms 103:1-4.

It is time to pay our vows or keep our promises to God which we made when we were asking him for one thing or another. God will always be faithful in keeping his part of every agreement, when he had done that, we are to respond by showing gratitude. The right way to show gratitude to God is by being faithful in keeping every promises and commitment we made to him just like Hanah in the case of Samuel. We do this not because God depends on us to survive, rather because we need more favour from him. He owns the earth and everything he created for his glory. If he needs anything therefore, those things will respond to meet his needs. When we pay our vows, we create room for fresh visitations of God. “Do I eat the flesh of bulls or drink the blood of goats? Let the giving of thanks be your sacrifice to God, and give the Almighty all that you promised. Call to me when trouble comes; I will save you, and you will praise me.”” Psalms 50:13-16.

Prayer :Thank you Father God for every good things I received from you this year. Thank you for your protection, provisions, and every answered prayers in my life. As I pay my vows, let every doors of favour and blessing shut against me open in Jesus wonderful name….. Amen 🙏🏿.

You Were in God’s Plan

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Sunday December 29th, 2024.

Topic :You Were In God’s Plan.

Memory Verse:Romans 8:31. In view of all this, what can we say? If God is for us, who can be against us?

Bible Reading :Romans 8:28-30 GNB. Key Verse: v 29.

We know that in all things God works for good with those who love him, those whom he has called according to his purpose. Those whom God had already chosen he also set apart to become like his Son, so that the Son would be the eldest brother in a large family. And so those whom God set apart, he called; and those he called, he put right with himself, and he shared his glory with them.

God’s wisdom is perfect. When the devil thought he had his way in the case of man because of the fall, after deceiving him in Eden. God released a joker in his son Jesus. Because the coming of the Messiah had been prophesied on time, hell and rulers of darkness was at alert trying to fathom how, when and where he would be born, so that they check if there could be any way they could puncture God’s plan. God had to bring Jesus Christ our saviour to the scene in an unusual manner from a least expected place. The Holy Spirit in his wisdom chose to pass through an unknown virgin and sealed it up with Joseph in his suspicion. At the time of delivery of baby Jesus, he chose an unexpected place, a manger. Even king Herod in his envy and rage couldn’t tie down the newborn child. The Spirit of God made sure that the wise men from the east whom he chose to confide in avoided him because of his wicked plan against baby Jesus. Mathew 2:1-12.

Satan wanted to abort the earthly assignment of Jesus Christ our Lord through death which failed to work till when God himself permitted it because it served his eternal purpose. Now, Jesus came to raise many sons unto the father after himself. “But we do see Jesus, who for a little while was made lower than the angels, so that through God’s grace he should die for everyone. We see him now crowned with glory and honour because of the death he suffered. It was only right that God, who creates and preserves all things, should make Jesus perfect through suffering, in order to bring many children to share his glory. For Jesus is the one who leads them to salvation. He purifies people from their sins, and both he and those who are made pure all have the same Father. That is why Jesus is not ashamed to call them his family.” Hebrews 2:9-11.

Today we need to understand that as believers in Christ, we have become members of his royal heavenly or Spiritual family. As sons in the household of God, we bear the image of Jesus Christ himself by the help of his Spirit given to us. All that he is or he has as Lord, he is able to share with us as joint family members and heirs of righteousness in him. This status affords us undeniable rights and privileges before the Lord that makes our earthly existence meaningful. This means that in Christ Jesus, God gave us his best and all which we must take advantage of through the channel of grace. “This plan, which God will complete when the time is right, is to bring all creation together, everything in heaven and on earth, with Christ as head. All things are done according to God’s plan and decision; and God chose us to be his own people in union with Christ because of his own purpose, based on what he had decided from the very beginning. Let us, then, who were the first to hope in Christ, praise God’s glory!” Ephesians 1:10-12.

Prayer :Thank you Father God because you had me at heart when you sent Jesus to the earth in the flesh. Help me by your Spirit to understand your plan and to live in the reality of what he did for me and the new covenant he brought us into in Jesus wonderful name….. Amen 🙏🏿.

Jesus paid the Price

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Saturday December 28th, 2024.

Topic :Jesus Paid The Price.

Memory Verse : Romans 8:4. God did this so that the righteous demands of the Law might be fully satisfied in us who live according to the Spirit, and not according to human nature.

Bible Reading :Romans 8:1-3 GNB. Key Verse : v2.

There is no condemnation now for those who live in union with Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit, which brings us life in union with Christ Jesus, has set me free from the law of sin and death. What the Law could not do, because human nature was weak, God did. He condemned sin in human nature by sending his own Son, who came with a nature like sinful human nature, to do away with sin.

We need to live to appreciate Jesus Christ who is the reason for this season. His birth, death and resurrection settled the sin problem of man which brought condemnation unto all men living on the surface of the earth. Same book of Romans recorded in chapter 6 in v23 that the payment for the sinful nature we inherited from Adam is death or eternal separation from God Almighty who is the source of true life, peace and light. Our acquital from the guilt of sin stems on the fact that Jesus Christ took our place before the judgement seat of God and suffered condemnation and death on our behalf, paying with his own blood for our redemption eternally. “Since this is true, how much more is accomplished by the blood of Christ! Through the eternal Spirit he offered himself as a perfect sacrifice to God. His blood will purify our consciences from useless rituals, so that we may serve the living God. For this reason Christ is the one who arranges a new covenant, so that those who have been called by God may receive the eternal blessings that God has promised. This can be done because there has been a death which sets people free from the wrongs they did while the first covenant was in force.” Hebrews 9:14-15.

When we believe in the finished work of the cross, Jesus grants us access to his heavenly riches and blessings by the help of his Spirit who lives in us to enable walk with him and please him as a Spirit and the father of all spirits. At this point, we have to consciously engage ourselves in activities and exercises that enhances our spiritual walk with God. That is the only way to stay afloat in a world that is ruled by sentiments and feelings of men that fuel the activities of the flesh, which has capacity to destroy a man when they are left unchecked. The way of victory is to consciously pay attention to things that build up our spiirt man in him. “Those who live as their human nature tells them to, have their minds controlled by what human nature wants. Those who live as the Spirit tells them to, have their minds controlled by what the Spirit wants. To be controlled by human nature results in death; to be controlled by the Spirit results in life and peace.” Romans 8:5-6.

Today, make up your mind to give Jesus the chance to save your soul from condemnation. Once you are in the camp of Jesus, know that the journey just began. There’s need for you to understand that the enemy won’t give up on you without a fight. When he can’t get you by several other channels, he will try to trap you using the things your flesh like doing that doesn’t add any value to your relationship with Jesus or your walk with him in the Spirit. At this point, you are to consciously work against the flesh from taking over you by bringing it under control by the help of the Holy Spirit residing in you. That is the way men who prevail in their walk with God are able to achieve peace and harmony with him and make their earthly journey worthwhile. “If the Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from death, lives in you, then he who raised Christ from death will also give life to your mortal bodies by the presence of his Spirit in you. So then, my brothers and sisters, we have an obligation, but it is not to live as our human nature wants us to. For if you live according to your human nature, you are going to die; but if by the Spirit you put to death your sinful actions, you will live.” Romans 8:11-13.

Prayer :Thank you Father God for giving me Jesus. Lord Jesus thank you for coming to the earth to redeem my soul from eternal death and destruction. Help me to always bring my flesh under control by the help of your Spirit at work in me in Jesus mighty name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Jesus Came To Raise Men Unto Salvation.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Thursday December 26th,2024.

Topic :Jesus Came To Raise Men Unto Salvation.

Memory verse:Luke 2:32. A light to reveal your will to the Gentiles     and bring glory to your people Israel.”

Bible Reading :Luke 2:29-31 GNB. Key Verse:v30.

“Now, Lord, you have kept your promise, and you may let your servant go in peace. With my own eyes I have seen your salvation, which you have prepared in the presence of all peoples:

By the time Jesus was brought to the temple at the completion of eight days according to the laws of Moses to be named and circumcised, Simeon and Anna was their to bear witness about the fulfillment of God’s word and the purpose for which he was born. God had spoken to them them about the Messiah being born in their lifetime and they waited in the place of prayer by the Spirit of God to see the fulfillment of the promise of God in their lifetime. “At that time there was a man named Simeon living in Jerusalem. He was a good, God-fearing man and was waiting for Israel to be saved. The Holy Spirit was with him and had assured him that he would not die before he had seen the Lord’s promised Messiah. Led by the Spirit, Simeon went into the Temple. When the parents brought the child Jesus into the Temple to do for him what the Law required, Simeon took the child in his arms and gave thanks to God: “Now, Lord, you have kept your promise, and you may let your servant go in peace.” Luke 2:25-29.

“There was a very old prophet, a widow named Anna, daughter of Phanuel of the tribe of Asher. She had been married for only seven years and was now 84 years old. She never left the Temple; day and night she worshipped God, fasting and praying. That very same hour she arrived and gave thanks to God and spoke about the child to all who were waiting for God to set Jerusalem free.” Luke 2:36-38. Their confirmational utterances was amazing as they confirmed things that the Spirit of God had made known to Mary and Joseph by the encounters and revelations they had before then concerning the new born child and God’s purpose for his life.

“A light to reveal your will to the Gentiles     and bring glory to your people Israel.” The child’s father and mother were amazed at the things Simeon said about him. Simeon blessed them and said to Mary, his mother, “This child is chosen by God for the destruction and the salvation of many in Israel. He will be a sign from God which many people will speak against” Luke 2:32-34. Simeon did mention something important here that I want us to note in v34 where he said that Jesus Christ was for the falling or destruction and rising or salvation of many , depending on how they respond to him. When men despise and work against the purpose of Christ and his kingdom or when they walk in unbelief, they work out their own destruction while those who believe, love and identify with his course on earth walk into the realm of salvation and victorious living eternally by the help of his Spirit.

Prayer :Thank you Father God for giving us Jesus your son. I choose today to believe your son, whom you sent. I will love and live for him all my days, since he died to save my soul from destruction. Thank you for the my rising and the salvation of my soul through your son in Jesus wonderful name….. Amen 🙏🏿.

Celebrate With Understanding.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Wednesday December 25th, 2024.

Topic :Celebrate With Understanding.

Memory Verse :Luke 2:7. She gave birth to her first son, wrapped him in strips of cloth and laid him in a manger — there was no room for them to stay in the inn.

Bible Reading :Luke 2:4-6 GNB. Key Verse : v5.

Joseph went from the town of Nazareth in Galilee to the town of Bethlehem in Judea, the birthplace of King David. Joseph went there because he was a descendant of David. He went to register with Mary, who was promised in marriage to him. She was pregnant, and while they were in Bethlehem, the time came for her to have her baby.

Jesus Christ was born in a most humble way that many are not able to understand why such a Messiah should be born in such a simple and humble manner, in a manger and not a very important palace. This is because the thoughts and ways of God is far higher than our ways as men. There were witnesses to what God was upto as heralded by angels that appeared to the shepherds in the field with the good news. “”An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone over them. They were terribly afraid, but the angel said to them, There were some shepherds in that part of the country who were spending the night in the fields, taking care of their flocks. Don’t be afraid! I am here with good news for you, which will bring great joy to all the people. This very day in David’s town your Saviour was born — Christ the Lord!” Luke 2:8-11.

“And this is what will prove it to you: you will find a baby wrapped in strips of cloth and lying in a manger.” Suddenly a great army of heaven’s angels appeared with the angel, singing praises to God: “Glory to God in the highest heaven, and peace on earth to those with whom he is pleased!” When the angels went away from them back into heaven, the shepherds said to one another, “Let’s go to Bethlehem and see this thing that has happened, which the Lord has told us.” So they hurried off and found Mary and Joseph and saw the baby lying in the manger. When the shepherds saw him, they told them what the angel had said about the child. All who heard it were amazed at what the shepherds said. Mary remembered all these things and thought deeply about them. The shepherds went back, singing praises to God for all they had heard and seen; it had been just as the angel had told them.” Luke 2:12-20.

Now it is good to point out here that Jesus was not born on 25th of December, rather it is a day the Catholic Church chose to celebrate his birth. The truth is that despite every skepticism exhibited by some people because of questions sorounding the actual date Christ was born and ancient Roman traditions, Jesus Christ, the saviour of the world is worth celebrating. The time of celebrating Christ birth should be a time of sober reflection and spiritual stock taking or evaluation. This season, we need to ask ourselves sincere questions about the impact of his birth death and resurrection on our personal lives as individuals. Jesus came to the earth to save mankind from sin and it’s attendant effects. The question now is are you really saved? If Jesus Christ should return to the earth today to take his own, are you sure we shall be qualified to go with him? If you breath your last now, are you sure of seeing him in victory over the world and sin? Christmas is not all about eating good food, taking holidays, visiting loved ones and things like that, but about making conscious efforts to part of his kingdom on earth, so that you live all your days to please him. “I am the gate. Whoever comes in by me will be saved; they will come in and go out and find pasture. The thief comes only in order to steal, kill, and destroy. I have come in order that you might have life — life in all its fullness. “I am the good shepherd, who is willing to die for the sheep.”” John 10:9-11.

Prayer :Thank you Father God for giving us Jesus Christ your son. Help me to celebrate his birth soberly. Let my life be one that pleases you Lord Jesus. Your birth, death and resurrection will never be in vain in my life in Jesus wonderful name….. Amen 🙏🏿.

The Uniqueness Of Jesus

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Tuesday December 24th, 2024.

Topic :The Uniqueness Of Jesus.

Memory Verse: Matthew 1:18. This was how Jesus, God’s Anointed One, was born. His mother, Mary, had promised Joseph to be his wife, but while she was still a virgin she became pregnant through the power of the Holy Spirit.

Bible Reading :Matthew 1:19-20 TPT. Key Verse : v18.

Her fiancé, Joseph, was a righteous man full of integrity and he didn’t want to disgrace her, but when he learned of her pregnancy he secretly planned to break the engagement. While he was still debating with himself about what to do, he fell asleep and had a supernatural dream. An angel from the Lord appeared to him in clear light and said, “Joseph, descendant of David, don’t hesitate to take Mary into your home as you your wife, because the power of the Holy Spirit has conceived a child in her womb.

There are deep things about Jesus Christ that made him unique. One of them is his virgin birth. This means that he was given birth to without the coming together of a man and a woman. If you check the account of Mathew, Mary was engaged to Joseph and they were therefore getting ready to marry when unexpectedly Joseph the son of Jacob who was from the lineage of David saw that his wife to be was pregnant. Having not known her, Joseph thought that Mary had played the whore. Because of the love he had for her, he wanted to break their engagement secretly to avoid exposing her to public disgrace and other attendant consequences as permitted by Jewish customs. God knowing his plans had to step in through his encounter Joseph had with an angel in a dream that resolved the entire puzzle.

“Mary was deeply troubled over the words of the angel and bewildered over what this may mean for her. But the angel reassured her, saying, “Do not yield to your fear, Mary, for the Lord has found delight in you and has chosen to surprise you with a wonderful gift. You will become pregnant with a baby boy, and you are to name him Jesus. He will be supreme and will be known as the Son of the Highest. And the Lord God will enthrone him as King on his ancestor David’s throne.” Luke 1:29-32. Six month into the pregnancy of John the Baptist by Elizabeth, Angel Gabriel who appeared to Zechariah and gave him the message of the birth of John, appeared to Mary greeting her in unusual manner which made her afraid. In her perplexity, Gabriel delivered her message to her, about God’s intention to use her to birth a saviour by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Now Gabriel said it clearly white talking to Mary that Jesus will be the son of God (son of the highest). Jesus was conceived as we can see by the spoken word of the angel and under the power of the Holy Spirit and not by human intimacy. That is the reason he can be referred to as the word made flesh who dwelth among us. “Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. John bare witness of him, and cried, saying, This was he of whom I spake, He that cometh after me is preferred before me: for he was before me.” John 1:13-15 KJV. In Mathew 8:29, even evil spirits recognised Jesus as the son of God and left at his command because in the spirit realm, there are no cover ups. Himself said I and my father (God) are one.
—————————————- Thank you Lord Jesus because you are the son of God and God indeed. I worship you because to you must every knee bow and every tongue must confess your Lordship in Jesus mighty name…. Amen 🙏🏿.
