Becoming Useful In His Mighty Hands

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Topic :Becoming Useful In His Mighty Hands.

Memory Verse : Philippians 3:6. And concerning the righteousness of the Torah, no one surpassed me; I was without a peer. Furthermore, as a fiery defender of the truth, I persecuted the messianic believers with religious zeal.

Bible Reading : Philippians 3:3-4 TPT.

For we have already experienced “heart-circumcision,” and we worship God in the power and freedom of the Holy Spirit, not in laws and religious duties. We are those who boast in what Jesus Christ has done, and not in what we can accomplish in our own strength. It’s true that I once relied on all that I had become. I had a reason to boast and impress people with my accomplishments—more than others—for my pedigree was impeccable.

Apostle Paul before his encounter with Jesus Christ was not a man of mean stature. He was a notable lawyer who served God with a passion and lived to defend his ideals (Judaism), though in a wrong way and out of ignorance. He wielding enough influence as to work in close rank with the rulers of his days. He thought he was on the right track of life and doing well until he met Christ. That singular encounter rubished all his self esteem and pride of life because he was introduced into the realm of Christ, the saviour of the universe. That exposed him to a new dimension of life that is superior to everything he had known before then. The glory of the master that shone around him in the ecounter blinded his physical eyes so that he could be blind to some things he loved before then, in order to begin to see beyond the ordinary. Acts 9:2-9.

One of the reasons Apostle Paul was able to attain enviable heights in his walk with Jesus and the attendant kingdom assignment was because he was able to empty himself of all he knew in the past (before he met Christ) and pursue with the same unwavering zeal he had in Judaism the knowledge of his new found love, who is Jesus Christ. He didn’t come to a point where he counted himself as having arrived in his walk with God. The more Christ revealed himself to him by his Spirit, the more he craved for more of him. That hunger imbeded in his innermost being was key to the uncommon depths he was able to fathom in his journey of faith. “I don’t depend on my own strength to accomplish this; however I do have one compelling focus: I forget all of the past as I fasten my heart to the future instead. I run straight for the divine invitation of reaching the heavenly goal and gaining the victory-prize through the anointing of Jesus.” Philippians 3:13-14.

Today, God want to raise men in the mould of this and other great servants whose lives changed the narrative of the kingdom in time past. The work of the end time is so important that it needs dedicated and committed men who are sold out to the Lord. Men who can muster enough courage to trust in his wisdom and depend on his Spirit and not their human capacity or background. If we are ready, the Lord will help us in the areas where we can’t help ourselves. “So let all who are fully mature have this same passion, and if anyone is not yet gripped by these desires, God will reveal it to them. And let us all advance together to reach this victory-prize, following one path with one passion.” Philippians 3:15-16.

Prayer :Thank you Father God for raising me so that I can be used to raise the next generation. Today, create a hunger for more of you in my spirit. Help me to always depend on you and not my wisdom or personal abilities. Thank you because your investment of grace in my life will never be in vain in Jesus wonderful name….. Amen 🙏🏿.

Praying To Have Results.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Wednesday January 22nd, 2025.

Topic :Praying To Have Results.

Memory Verse :James 5:17. Elijah was the same kind of person as we are. He prayed earnestly that there would be no rain, and no rain fell on the land for three and a half years.

Bible Reading James 5:13-15 GNB. Key Verse: v13.

Are any of you in trouble? You should pray. Are any of you happy? You should sing praises. Are any of you ill? You should send for the church elders, who will pray for them and rub olive oil on them in the name of the Lord. This prayer made in faith will heal the sick; the Lord will restore them to health, and the sins they have committed will be forgiven.

James instructions here are meant for every believer that wants to do well in his walk with the Lord. Times of trouble are not times to be jittery or times to run from pillar to post. Rather, they are times to run to the Lord just like the disciples who had Jesus in their boat sleeping and resting and yet the storms of the sea rose up against them. When their efforts wasn’t enough to take care of the situation, they had to bring the master into the situation. In like manner, we should understand that being with the Lord doesn’t exempt men from encountering troubles in their journey, rather it gurrantees us a most reliable backup that we can always fall back on when we encounter challenges that we can’t handle by our human knowledge and expertise. Troubles therefore should draw men closer to the the one who can do all things and not the other way round. “Call to me, and I will answer you; I will tell you wonderful and marvellous things that you know nothing about.” Jeremiah 33:3.

Now when we are grown in the Lord, we don’t wait for troubles to come our way before we pray. For the mature believer, prayer is a lifestyle. We live to pray to him because he is our source of life and strength. We draw strength from the master in any given situation which keeps us standing when others are failing. Another reason prayer becomes our way of life is because we live a life of spiritual union with the master and he is the senior partner or the principal factor in this relationship. The more we talk to him therefore, the more we are able to receive his support and supply of resources where and when they are needed. In the place of prayer, we receive instructions that makes difficult cases easy as his light illuminstes our dark paths.

For prayer to be effective, it demands everything in us, that’s the reason it has to be heartfelt. This means that it has to flow from our innermost being to move the hand of God in our favour. Another factor that makes prayer effective is our faith. When we pray, we have to trust the master to deliver in those things or areas we asked. Any prayer not made in faith cannot command divine attention, because without faith, no man can please God. Again prayer works when we humbly confess our sins to God and make peace with fellow men where such in needed. On a very important note, living in relationships and communicating constantly with Jesus makes an ordinary man powerful because of the presence of God that follows his life, just like Elijah, as it is written in the scripture. Standing before God always in prayer was the key that gave him the audacity to influence the life of an entire nation at that point in time. 1 Kings 17:1.

Prayer :Thank you Father God for the grace that made me your own. Help me to live in union, fellowship and communion with you forever. As I live in your presence all my days, let the aura of your presence make my life unique on earth. Thank you for answers to my prayers in Jesus precious name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Praying To Get Results.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Tuesday January 21st, 2025.

Topic : Praying To Get Results.

Memory Verse: James 4:5. Does the Scripture mean nothing to you that says, “The Spirit that God breathed into our hearts is a jealous Lover who intensely desires to have more and more of us”?

Bible Reading :James 4:2-4 TPT Ksy Verse : v4.

You jealously want what others have so you begin to see yourself as better than others. You scheme with envy and harm others to selfishly obtain what you crave—that’s why you quarrel and fight. And all the time you don’t obtain what you want because you won’t ask God for it! And if you ask, you won’t receive it for you’re asking with corrupt motives, seeking only to fulfill your own selfish desires. You have become spiritual adulterers who are having an affair, an unholy relationship with the world. Don’t you know that flirting with the world’s values places you at odds with God? Whoever chooses to be the world’s friend makes himself God’s enemy!

This season many are praying trying to get God on their side through the year and beyond. Many are making certain requests before the Lord. We need to understand that all men pray, but not all receive answers or their heart desires. We can only feel like men that have answers when our requests before the Lord are granted. In the first place, we need to know that answers are revealed when we tap into the realm of divine mercy. “Consider and hear me, O LORD my God: lighten mine eyes, lest I sleep the sleep of death; Lest mine enemy say, I have prevailed against him; and those that trouble me rejoice when I am moved. But I have trusted in thy mercy; my heart shall rejoice in thy salvation. I will sing unto the LORD, because he hath dealt bountifully with me.” Psalms 13:3-6 KJV.

Now, a very important key to receiving answers to prayers is to pray in alignment with the will and purpose of God for our personal lives and generation. Anytime the prayers of a man or people are centered around divine agenda and purpose, answers are released without struggles. This is because the counsel of the Lord will always prevail, challenges notwithstanding. “‭Let all the earth fear the Lord; let all the people of the world revere him. For he spoke, and it came to be; he commanded, and it stood firm. The Lord foils the plans of the nations; he thwarts the purposes of the peoples. But the plans of the Lord stand firm forever, the purposes of his heart through all generations.” Psalms 33:8-11 NIV‬.

This season, we must avoid being carried away by what is in vogue or prevalent around us. We must die to our selfish desires and pride of this life. Remember, you are not created to please yourself or any other human, but God. Your life begins to count before the Lord when your desires and pursuits are tailored to honour him and fulfill his purpose in your personal life and generation.. On a very important note, we must learn also that ut takes humility for any individual or people to function or live in total alignment with God and his glorious purpose in any generation, because the path of the cross is always painful. However the end result is always glorious, where we reign with him. “And they were all singing this new song of praise to the Lamb: “Because you were slaughtered for us, you are worthy to take the scroll and open its seals. Your blood was the price paid to redeem us. You purchased us to bring us to God out of every tribe, language, people group, and nation. You have chosen us to serve our God and formed us into a kingdom of priests who reign on the earth.”” Revelation 5:9-10.

Prayer :Thank you Father God for the privilege to always appear before you and get results. Help me by your Spirit to humbly align with your will and purpose for my life and generation, as I seek your face. Thank you because my life will count in your kingdom in Jesus wonderful name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

The Master Needs You.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Monday January 20th, 2025.

Topic :The Master Needs You.

Memory Verse:Matthew 20:14. Now take your pay and go home. I want to give this man who was hired last as much as I have given you.

Bible Reading : Matthew 20:7-9 GNB. ‘Key Verse : v8.

No one hired us,’ they answered. ‘Well, then, you also go and work in the vineyard,’ he told them. “When evening came, the owner told his foreman, ‘Call the workers and pay them their wages, starting with those who were hired last and ending with those who were hired first.’ The men who had begun to work at five o’clock were paid a silver coin each.

In the usual manner of Jesus using earthly things to teach about spiritual things or things of the kingdom, he compared the kingdom of God to a wealthy man who needed much hands in his field or farm to get the work done. In the early morning hours, he went out and hired some people or labourers at the price of a piece of silver. The hired men went to work and he monitored the work in progress. By 9.00am, he observed the need to engage more hands to increase capacity. Again by 12.00 noon, he went out again and hired more hands. He went out every three hours till 5.00pm after watching the level of work done and went out to hire more hands because the work must be fully done at the end of the day. He promised the last hour entrant into the work to give them anything he feels is right. “The Kingdom of heaven is like this. Once there was a man who went out early in the morning to hire some men to work in his vineyard. He agreed to pay them the regular wage, a silver coin a day, and sent them to work in his vineyard.”” Matthew 20:1-2..

The kingdom of God is still as elastic as ever even in our days. There are many things that God wants to achieve which can’t be possible, except men make themselves available to the master. One of the challenges of Christianity in our days is that some people love idleness. Satan on his part is busy on his own, hounding men into as much distractions as he could afford, so that the work of the Master won’t be done at last. This he does because when the work is done by us, many people he is keeping in various forms of bondage will be set free. He will not want any man to hear and heed the voicr of the Spirit of Christ.

“Surely you know that many runners take part in a race, but only one of them wins the prize. Run, then, in such a way as to win the prize. Every athlete in training submits to strict discipline, in order to be crowned with a wreath that will not last; but we do it for one that will last for ever. That is why I run straight for the finishing line; that is why I am like a boxer who does not waste his punches.” 1 Corinthians 9:2426. One thing that should keep us going in the midst of challenges is the fact that there’s a reward or price to be given by our faithful God. In the parable of Jesus, the reward given was equal though some people ‘worked just for about an hour. Today, we are learning to stop complaining where are not working the way they should, but to see such needs as opportunities to serve. We don’t have to be idle in God’s house and kingdom. There’s a work for each and every one of us, if we can listen to the need of the Master. We should ask what he wants us to be doing for him, where we are not sure. Kingdom service is the master key to unlock doors of real and lasting blessings.

Prayer :Thank you Father God for saving me to serve. Today, open my eyes to things you want me to be doing for you in your house and kingdom. Give me the ability to obey your voice. Thank you for blessing me mightily and making me a blessing in Jesus precious name….. Amen 🙏🏿.

Time To Get Your Extra Oil.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Sunday January 19th, 2025.

Topic :Time To Get Your Extra Oil.

Memory Verse :Matthew 25:4. while the wise ones took containers full of oil for their lamps.

Bible Reading :Matthew 25:1-3 GNB. Key Verse: v2.

“At that time the Kingdom of heaven will be like this. Once there were ten young women who took their oil lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. Five of them were foolish, and the other five were wise. The foolish ones took their lamps but did not take any extra oil with them,

In Mathew 25 from v1, Jesus Christ used the parable of the ten virgins to further explain what his second coming will look like to many who believe in him and are waiting for his return. According to this parable these ten young women were expectting a bridegroom, they made preparations to receive him. Because he didn’t come as early as they expected, a dividing line began to appear in the course of their waiting. At the end, the master declared 5 to be wise and the remaining 5 to foolish, all depending on their preparations. Both class of young women felt satisfied with their level of preparation, but 5 never noticed that something was missing or that they were ill prepared till the master himself arrived. When they couldn’t tap into the resources or borrow from what their friends had (extra oil), they had to rush to town to look for that which they lacked. The ugly side of it all is that when they returned, they discovered that it was too late to be allowed into the wedding they had waited for all their life. This means that every investment of resources and time they made in preparations and waiting became a waste.

This parable is addressing men who believe in Jesus and his imminent return. Therefore they are preparing or better say that they feel prepared for the expected bridegroom, they were okay with what they had, without trying to take any lesson or cue from their better prepared friends. Some people in the class of these foolish virgins are in church, they have a genuine desire to serve God in their hearts, but they are not being properly taught. Some of them think they can do it their own way instead following the scriptures. They trust in what they have, but will wake up when it will be too late to discover that what they were holding on to is leading nowhere. That’s the worst thing that can happen to anyone who believes in Jesus. I say so because everything such individual did in the name of believing and waiting will never count. Heaven is a pass and pass in and fail and fail out situation. This means that we have to make every possible sacrifices to get it right at first attempt.

“It was already midnight when the cry rang out, ‘Here is the bridegroom! Come and meet him!’ The ten women woke up and trimmed their lamps. Then the foolish ones said to the wise ones, ‘Let us have some of your oil, because our lamps are going out. ’‘No, indeed,’ the wise ones answered, ‘there is not enough for you and for us. Go to the shop and buy some for yourselves.’” Matthew 25:6-9. Today, we need to understand that in the kingdom, everything we do is personal (between you and God). You can’t use the oil or stand on the preparations or sacrifices of another individual, no matter how close the relationship that exists between you and the person. It’s time to check on our oil as individuals and make sure that we have the needed extra. You don’t wait for the last munite or sleep when you are not really prepared as long as biblical standards of waiting is concerned. Now is the time to check your word and prayer life. These are two important factors that will help every believer be on the watch and at alert. Both are necessary to be adequately prepared and to have extra oil for the extra mile with the master, as we wait for his return.

Prayer : Thank you Lord Jesus for dieing to save my soul. Your sacrifice will never be in vain in my life. Help me to to be wise in your own way. Fill me with your word, let my prayer life be on fire. Help me to go the extra mile with you. Let me be a wise virgin, who will always have extra oil in my vessel at your second coming in Jesus precious name…… Amen 🙏🏿.

As In The Days Of Noah

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Friday January 18th, 2025.

Topic : As In The Days Of Noah.

Memory Verse: Matthew 24:39. yet they did not realize what was happening until the flood came and swept them all away. That is how it will be when the Son of Man comes.

Matthew 24:36-38 GNB. Key Verse: v38.

“No one knows, however, when that day and hour will come — neither the angels in heaven nor the Son; the Father alone knows. The coming of the Son of Man will be like what happened in the time of Noah. In the days before the flood people ate and drank, men and women married, up to the very day Noah went into the boat;

Jesus Christ likened what his second coming to the earth will look like to the days of Noah. In the days of Noah, every normal daily activities of men continued as it were. Noah on his part spent about a hundred years building the ark to divine specifications, while others faced their personal daily activities. Because Noah had seen the mind of God and heard from his mouth, he couldn’t join others in normal daily pursuits, but faced his God given assignment. The dealings of God couldn’t allow him take some break or live like others. When he finished building and began to warn the people and urge them to board the ship to the saving of their souls, they couldn’t listen to him. The people was carried away because everything looked normal around them, till Noah boarded with his family and the animals and the flood began. By the time they realised, it was too late to make any ammends. Genesis 7:1-5.

In our days, Jesus Christ the son of God is the ark God prepared for the world, to save as many as will care to listen from eternal destruction. People in the days of Noah was looking for a sign which came in a manner they least expected. The sign God gave them was that a man had to abandon all his personal pursuits to pursue such a time consumingbproject. In our days the preachers and teachers of righteousness are the voices of God warning and calling people to repentance to saving of their souls. Many people take their genuine warning for granted and keep living in their own ways, instead of seeking God. Men enter this present day ark by faith or by believing in the finished work of the cross where Jesus shed his blood for our sins. When we believe in him and accept the salvation he acquired for us, we shall be found in him who is the ark of salvation. Some of us are all out because we have been the heart of Lord and know that there’s great danger ahead of as many as rejects his gift of righteousness by faith. Romans 10:6-11.

Now, we shouldn’t be taken unawares in our own days because Jesus had already revealed to us things that when we begin to see them, we shall understand thar his coming is closer than ever. The only reason we shall miss him is if we take his warnings for granted. “At that time two men will be working in a field: one will be taken away, the other will be left behind. Two women will be at a mill grinding meal: one will be taken away, the other will be left behind. “Be on your guard, then, because you do not know what day your Lord will come. If the owner of a house knew the time when the thief would come, you can be sure that he would stay awake and not let the thief break into his house. So then, you also must always be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you are not expecting him.” Matthew 24:40-44.

Prayer :Thank you Father God for giving me your son Jesus Christ to die to save my soul. Lord Jesus help me to take full advantage of the word of God I hear and study daily to the salvation of my soul at last. Help me by your Spirit to ready so that when you return, I won’t be found wanting in Jesus precious name….. Amen 🙏🏿.

Getting Ready For His Second Coming.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Friday January 17th, 2025.

Topic :Getting Ready For His Second Coming.

Memory Verse: Matthew 24:14. And this Good News about the Kingdom will be preached through all the world for a witness to all nations; and then the end will come.

Bible Reading :Matthew 24:10-13 GNB. Key Verse : v13.

Many will give up their faith at that time; they will betray one another and hate one another. Then many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. Such will be the spread of evil that many people’s love will grow cold. But whoever holds out to the end will be saved.

Earlier in chapter 24 of Mathew, Jesus had spoken of the fall of Jerusalem and destruction of the temple in the open. When he was having a private time with his disciples on Mount Olives, they came back to him for further explanation of the the things he had spoken of in the public space. ““Yes,” he said, “you may well look at all these. I tell you this: not a single stone here will be left in its place; every one of them will be thrown down.” As Jesus sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him in private. “Tell us when all this will be,” they asked, “and what will happen to show that it is the time for your coming and the end of the age.” Jesus answered, “Be on your guard, and do not let anyone deceive you.”” Matthew 24:2-4.

If you read carefully from v1 of theis Mathew 24 through to v31 where rapture took place, you will observe that all the signs Jesus mentioned in that chapter are no more in the Bible, but they are everywhere around us and in the news all over the world. This goes a long way to sensitise us that the second coming of Jesus Christ, the saviour of the universe is at hand. “For the trouble at that time will be far more terrible than any there has ever been, from the beginning of the world to this very day. Nor will there ever be anything like it again. But God has already reduced the number of days; had he not done so, nobody would survive. For the sake of his chosen people, however, God will reduce the days. “Then, if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Messiah!’ or ‘There he is!’ — do not believe it.” Matthew 24:21-23.

Where many are confused is because of some misinterpretation in many quarters about rapture before the great tribulation. But Mathew captured it in clearly that there was no rapture, till after tribulations (trouble). The taking away of saints happened in the midst of the trouble we must note. We musttherefore be ready to lay down our lives for Jesus, if need be, if we really love and want to spend eternity with him. ““Soon after the trouble of those days, the sun will grow dark, the moon will no longer shine, the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers in space will be driven from their courses. Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky; and all the peoples of earth will weep as they see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. The great trumpet will sound, and he will send out his angels to the four corners of the earth, and they will gather his chosen people from one end of the world to the other.”” Matthew 24:29-31.

Prayer :Thank you Father God for giving me Jesus who died to save my soul. Help me to love you beyond limits. Keep me standing faithfully for you till the end no matter what comes my way in Jesus precious name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Be Wise And Faithful

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Thursday January 16th, 2025.

Topic :Be Wise And Faithful.

Memory Verse :Luke 10:9. heal the sick in that town, and say to the people there, ‘The Kingdom of God has come near you.’

Bible Reading : Luke 10:1-3 GNB. Key Verse: v2.

After this the Lord chose another 72 men and sent them out two by two, to go ahead of him to every town and place where he himself was about to go. He said to them, “There is a large harvest, but few workers to gather it in. Pray to the owner of the harvest that he will send out workers to gather in his harvest. Go! I am sending you like lambs among wolves.

As the year is taking off, we are very busy tabling all kinds of requests before the Lord. Sometimes we can be carried away by our personal needs as to forget that the Master himself in whose name we are making all these requests has needs too. There are things Jesus won’t be able to do on earth in our days, except we make ourselves available so that he can labour through us to birth his great and glorious plans. In our main text, we see him sending out 72 people to go ahead of him to places he intended to go, so that they could prepare the ground. When they obeyed, they came back with outstanding testimonies. “The 72 men came back in great joy. “Lord,” they said, “even the demons obeyed us when we gave them a command in your name!”. Jesus answered them, “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven. Listen! I have given you authority, so that you can walk on snakes and scorpions and overcome all the power of the Enemy, and nothing will hurt you. But don’t be glad because the evil spirits obey you; rather be glad because your names are written in heaven.”” Luke 10:17-20.

“But when the Holy Spirit comes upon you, you will be filled with power, and you will be witnesses for me in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” After saying this, he was taken up to heaven as they watched him, and a cloud hid him from their sight. They still had their eyes fixed on the sky as he went away, when two men dressed in white suddenly stood beside them and said, “Galileans, why are you standing there looking up at the sky? This Jesus, who was taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way that you saw him go to heaven.”” Acts 1:8-11. Before Jesus was taken to heaven from Mount Olives after he resurrected, he told the disciples to wait in prayer so that he can fill them with his Spirit who carries the power to bear effective witness of the Master. As they heeded his parting words to them, in Acts chapter 2 they were filled with the Holy Ghost and power on the day of Pentecost. From that very day, they began to do exploits in his name.

I want us to note the words of the the angel that appeared while the disciples stood transfixed at the manner their master was taken in v11. The angel assured them that the same Jesus which they saw taken into the heavens, will return to the earth in like manner he was taken away from them. Now there’s need for men who are ready to labour in the field with the Master to prepare the people for his second coming. Ourselves have to keep preparing to meet him soon. Not only that, we need to get involved in preparing others for his second coming as he makes grace available to us. When we labour with him, we also enjoy his reward. Every child of God has been given a measure of grace to use and be part of this last move of the Spirit on earth. We have to contribute our quota while it is day because the night is coming, when no man can labour. This calls for wisdom and faithfulness on our side. “The Lord answered, “Who, then, is the faithful and wise servant? He is the one that his master will put in charge, to run the household and give the other servants their share of the food at the proper time. How happy that servant is if his master finds him doing this when he comes home! Indeed, I tell you, the master will put that servant in charge of all his property.” Luke 12:42-44.

Prayer :Thank you Father God for making me your own. Help me to prepare for your second coming. Help me by your Spirit to join hands with others and labour to prepare my generation for your second coming. Your investment of grace in me won’t be a waste in Jesus mighty name….. Amen 🙏🏿.

Then Queen Esther answered, “If I have found favor with you, Your Majesty, and if it pleases you, grant me my life—this is my petition. And spare my people—this is my request. For I and my people have been sold to be destroyed, killed and annihilated. If we had merely been sold as male and female slaves, I would have kept quiet, because no such distress would justify disturbing the king.” King Xerxes asked Queen Esther, “Who is he? Where is he—the man who has dared to do such a thing?”

The deal was done, Haman who was second in command in Media and Persia had secured the approval of king Ahasuerus to exterminate the entire Jewish communities in the entire kingdom at a set date. Haman already had prepared a gallow in his house where he intended to hang Mordecai his enemy in chief, come the set date, for whose sake he decided that him and his people should not live because they don’t kneel or bow to humans but their God alone. ‭
“Dispatches were sent by couriers to all the king’s provinces with the order to destroy, kill and annihilate all the Jews—young and old, women and children—on a single day, the thirteenth day of the twelfth month, the month of Adar, and to plunder their goods. A copy of the text of the edict was to be issued as law in every province and made known to the people of every nationality so they would be ready for that day.” Esther 3:13-14.

“When Mordecai learned of all that had been done, he tore his clothes, put on sackcloth and ashes, and went out into the city, wailing loudly and bitterly. But he went only as far as the king’s gate, because no one clothed in sackcloth was allowed to enter it. In every province to which the edict and order of the king came, there was great mourning among the Jews, with fasting, weeping and wailing. Many lay in sackcloth and ashes.” Esther 4:1-3. When news got to Esther in the palace that her uncle Mordecai was in distress and in sackloth at the palace gate, she sent clothes to him which he tuned down. She had to send Hathak to her uncle to find out what the problem was. Finally there was an agreement that all the Jews in Susa should back Esther with 3 days dry fast so that she could approach the king against known procedures which penalty on it’s own was death, should she not be welcome by the king.

By the instrumentality of prayer and fasting, the yoke was broken. Esther appeared before tKing Ahaseurus at the end of the fast and was warmely welcome. By prayer and fasting, the thick cloud of annihilation hanging over the kingdom against the entire Jews was destroyed. Prayers and fasting opened the door of favour starting with the honouring of Mordecai in unusual manner because the Spirit of God took sleep away from the king till he began to check the records to reasobs he must turn the heat on Haman who was too blind to see the move of the Spiritthe Jews served till it was too late. At the end, his own wicked plot consumed him and his family, while Mordecai was promoted to replace him as second in command and a law passed throughout the kingdom, signed by the king himself for the entire Jewish Communities in his kingdom to stand up and defend themselves and subdue any force of intimidation and annihilation on the proposed day of annihilation. What was meant for evil, turned around for their lifting and blessing because of doors of favour that activated divine intervention and deliverance.

Prayer :Thank you Father God because power belongs to you. You raise men and you also bring down men. As I seek your face in prayer and fasting this season, let every plan of the wicked against me, my family and people be destroyed. From now on, let every door of favour and divine help shut against me by wicked forces begin to open on their own accord by the hand of the Almighty in Jesus wonderful name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

God Will Open Doors Of Favour And Restoration

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Tuesday January 14th, 2025.

Topic :God Will Open Doors Of Favour And Restoration

Memory Verse:Nehemiah 2’4. The emperor asked, “What is it that you want?”I prayed to the God of Heaven,

Bible Reading : ‭Nehemiah 2:1-3 GNB. Key Verse: v3.

One day four months later, when Emperor Artaxerxes was dining, I took the wine to him. He had never seen me look sad before, so he asked, “Why are you looking so sad? You aren’t ill, so it must be that you’re unhappy.”I was startled and answered, “May Your Majesty live for ever! How can I help looking sad

when the city where my ancestors are buried is in ruins and its gates have been destroyed by fire?”

Nehemiah was a cupbearer to the king in the land of captivity. This time Jerusalem fell into the hands of their enemies because of their sins and many was taken away captive to serves as slaves in foreign lands. While working in the palace in Babylon, Hanani who was a brother came back from home and Nehemiah tried to find out what was going on with the people that remained in Judah and Jerusalem. He learnt from him that the people who survived the wars and destruction were in jeopardy and that Jerusalem was lying in ruins and decay. That news broke his righteous heart and he began to fast and pray, repenting before the Lord of the sins of his people and asking the Lord to intervene, reminding God of his covenant with their fathers. “Remember now what you told Moses: ‘If you people of Israel are unfaithful to me, I will scatter you among the other nations. But then if you turn back to me and do what I have commanded you, I will bring you back to the place where I have chosen to be worshipped, even though you are scattered to the ends of the earth.’ “Lord, these are your servants, your own people. You rescued them by your great power and strength.” Nehemiah 1:8-10.

In answer, God touched the heart of the king on his behalf. This time the king wasn’t only interested in having his drinks, but also in the comfort and well being of his servant Nehemiah. He found out from his facial expressions that something was wrong and pressed to find out what it was all about. “One day four months later, when Emperor Artaxerxes was dining, I took the wine to him. He had never seen me look sad before, so he asked, “Why are you looking so sad? You aren’t ill, so it must be that you’re unhappy.”I was startled and answered, “May Your Majesty live for ever! How can I help looking sad when the city where my ancestors are buried is in ruins and its gates have been destroyed by fire?”” Nehemiah 2:1-3.

Because Nehemiah prayed the right prayers, God caused the king to be intereted in his happiness. When Nehemiah stated the reason for which he was sad, the king was all out to make sure whatever he wanted was done to restore his joy. Right there, God opened a door of favour for his servant Nehemiah which led to the rebuilding of Jerusalem as Nehemiah requested before the King. Nehemiah demanded to be released from his duty before the king, so that he could lead his people to rebuild Jerusalem. “Then I asked him to grant me the favour of giving me letters to the governors of West Euphrates Province, instructing them to let me travel to Judah. I asked also for a letter to Asaph, keeper of the royal forests, instructing him to supply me with timber for the gates of the fort that guards the Temple, for the city walls, and for the house I was to live in. The emperor gave me all I asked for, because God was with me. The emperor sent some army officers and a troop of horsemen with me, and I made the journey to West Euphrates. There I gave the emperor’s letters to the governors.” Nehemiah 2:7-9. This season, as we wait on the Lord with a genuine heart and in repentance, the Lord will open doors of favour and restoration unto you and your people.

Prayer :Thank you Father God because you are the God that answers prayers. This day, as I wait in prayer and with a repentant heart, let every doors of favour and restoration that was shut before now begin to open for me and my people in Jesus wonderful name…. Amen 🙏🏿.
