Times To move God’s Hand In Our Favour.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Sunday February 2nd, 2025.

Topic :Times To move God’s Hand In Our Favour.

Memory Verse :1 Thessalonians 5:17. Pray without ceasing.KJV.

Bible Reading : Acts 12:3-5 GNB. Key Verse : v5.

When he saw that this pleased the Jews, he went on to arrest Peter. (This happened during the time of the Festival of Unleavened Bread.) After his arrest Peter was put in jail, where he was handed over to be guarded by four groups of four soldiers each. Herod planned to put him on trial in public after Passover. So Peter was kept in jail, but the people of the church were praying earnestly to God for him.

At this point in time in the history of the early church, king Herod rose up to persecute the Church of Jesus Christ. He laid hands on James the brother of John and put him to death. When he saw that the people under him was pleased with that, he wanted to impress the people the more by distressing the early believers the more. This time he laid hands on the main man and leader of the early church who was Peter. Peter was kept in prison awaiting trial and conviction so that he could distabilise the move of God at that point in time. The remaining disciples knew there was serious problem and that none was safe any longer. They knew that if Peter was be killed like James, the early church will suffer serious setback and be weakened. They therefore decided to take their own destiny into their own hands in the place of prayer which is also the place of authority

Because they didn’t relent but was consistent, they were able to push back the hordes of hell manifesting through the government of the day. In that situation, the Lord knew that Herod was bent on getting Apostle Peter killed, he therefore had to mobilise his angel for his liberation. They were getting ready to deliver him to the people the next day when the angel of liberation came by night to set him free from their custody. “Suddenly an angel of the Lord stood there, and a light shone in the cell. The angel shook Peter by the shoulder, woke him up, and said, “Hurry! Get up!” At once the chains fell off Peter’s hands. Then the angel said, “Fasten your belt and put on your sandals.” Peter did so, and the angel said, “Put your cloak round you and come with me.” Peter followed him out of the prison, not knowing, however, if what the angel was doing was real; he thought he was seeing a vision.” Acts 12:7-9.

At the appearance and touch of the angel of God, every bonds of wickedness broke loose. He led Peter through every fortified gates while the guards were under heavy divine control and couldn’t know what was going on. Peter himself thought he was seeing a vision, but realised that it was real when the angel led him into the road and asked him to go home. “Then Peter realized what had happened to him, and said, “Now I know that it is really true! The Lord sent his angel to rescue me from Herod’s power and from everything the Jewish people expected to happen.” Aware of his situation, he went to the home of Mary, the mother of John Mark, where many people had gathered and were praying.” Acts 12:11-12.. This season the Spirit of God is asking his church to return people to the the place of prayer and intercession. As we obey the voice of the Spirit, he is going to turn many lingering battles around in our favour in his mighty mercies.

Prayer :Thank you Father God because you are the God that answers the prayer of your people. As we stand in the place of prayer this season, render useless every counsel of the enemy against your people in entirety. Thank you for harvest of testimonies in Jesus wonderful name….. Amen 🙏🏿.

Salvation Is Free Through Jesus.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Saturday February 1st, 2025.

Topic :Salvation Is Free Through Jesus.

Memory Verse :‭Hebrews 2:4. how shall we if we ignore so great a salvation? This salvation, which was first announced by the Lord, was confirmed to us by those who heard him.

Bible Reading :‭John 3:13-15 NIV‬. Key Verse: v14.

No one has ever gone into heaven except the one who came from heaven—the Son of Man. Just as Moses lifted up the snake in the wilderness, so the Son of Man must be lifted up, that everyone who believes may have eternal life in him.”

We have a very loving father and creator in Jehovah. When we couldn’t help ourselves, out of his fatherly love, he sent Jesus Christ, his son to die on the cross in order to save us because we couldn’t save ourselves from our sins and their consequences. ‭”You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly. Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous person, though for a good person someone might possibly dare to die. But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:6-8.

When the people of God or Israel sinned against God in the wilderness and incured his wrath, he sent serpents to kill them. As an antidote, he asked Moses his servant to make a cross and raise a serpent on it, so that whoever the snakes bit, when they looked up to the serpent raised by Moses, they lived. “The people came to Moses and said, “We sinned when we spoke against the Lord and against you. Pray that the Lord will take the snakes away from us.” So Moses prayed for the people. The Lord said to Moses, “Make a snake and put it up on a pole; anyone who is bitten can look at it and live.” So Moses made a bronze snake and put it up on a pole. Then when anyone was bitten by a snake and looked at the bronze snake, they lived.” ‭Numbers 21:7-9.

In our days, Jesus has been lifted to the cross where he died for the sin of the whole world. As many as will believe and look upto his work as finished on the cross of calvary, wil escape condemnation and death in hell. Salvation is the only way we have to be restored to a life of relationship and fellowship with our creator, which makes our earthly life worthwhile. Salvation is the foundation on which the promises of God stands to be effective in the life of any man. When we are saved, we are restored to live in God’s presence, which we lost through the sin of Adam. Jesus was very plain about it when he was engaged by Nicodemus, he told him that without the new birth, he won’t be able to see or enter the new life or kingdom he came to build or give men on earth.

Assignment : Make sure you testify to someone today about what Jesus has done for us through his death and resurrection. Be a channel to lead someone to Christ always.

Prayer : Thank you Lord God Almighty for making salvation available to all who believe through your son who died to save us. I believe and receive salvation though the work of the cross. Help me to always lead others to Christ in Jesus precious name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Making The Right Investments

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Friday January 31st, 2025.

Topic :Making The Right Investments.

Memory Verse: Galatians 6:10. Take advantage of every opportunity to be a blessing to others, especially to our brothers and sisters in the family of faith!.

Bible Reading :Galatians 6:7-9 TPT. Key Verse : v9.

Make no mistake about it, God will never be mocked! For what you plant will always be the very thing you harvest. The harvest you reap reveals the seed that was planted. If you plant the corrupt seeds of self – life into this natural realm, you can expect to experience a harvest of corruption. If you plant the good seeds of Spirit-life you will reap the beautiful fruits that grow from the everlasting life of the Spirit. And don’t allow yourselves to be weary or disheartened in planting good seeds, for the season of reaping the wonderful harvest you’ve planted is coming!

Paul was teaching us at the beginning of this chapter to live a family and community life as believers, watching the back of each other. That is a situation where we live to encourage and support each other as brothers and sisters in the family of God. This can only be possible where we have a kingdom mentality out of a genuine love for God and his people. This happens when we discover that we have a common heritage and goal in Christ. Men who work with such mindset understands that we are all here to make Jesus known to the world. Our primary motivation then becomes the gain of Christ and his kingdom. That’s when we labour in any given situation for kingdom instead of our personal gains. “And now I give you a new commandment: love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. If you have love for one another, then everyone will know that you are my disciples.”” John 13:34-35.

For this to be possible we have to live to support each other with our every grace giftings invested in our lives by heaven. This becomes possible when we see it as our duty to build up ourselves in the things of the Spirit. Many are not growing or making any significant impact kingdom-wise because they have chosen to keep sowing into their flesh. They see things of the Spirit as not important because they think that it doesn’t add any immediate value they can see with their eyes to their lives. Such people will avoid a prayer meeting to attend a love feast. They will prefer to pay money to receive spiritual help than building up themselves in their faith and walk with the master as to become solutions.

“Those who are motivated by the flesh only pursue what benefits themselves. But those who live by the impulses of the Holy Spirit are motivated to pursue spiritual realities. For the mind-set of the flesh is death, but the mind-set controlled by the Spirit finds life and peace. In fact, the mind-set focused on the flesh fights God’s plan and refuses to submit to his direction, because it cannot! For no matter how hard they try, God finds no pleasure with those who are controlled by the flesh. But when the Spirit of Christ empowers your life, you are not dominated by the flesh but by the Spirit. And if you are not joined to the Spirit of the Anointed One, you are not of him.” Romans 8:5-9. The time we invest in spiritual exercises that build up our spiritual muscles are never wasted times. At the right time, the impact will become visible, just like a harvest that justifies the labour of a farmer or the yield of every other investment that speaks for itself. We therefore have to be consistent till our harvest of results of life becomes very visible in all we do.

Prayer :Thank you Father God for raising me to be an encourager to many in my generation. Help me to be consistent in sowing seeds that enhance my growth and ability in kingdom endeavours. Thank you for making me a blessing and solution in Jesus wonderful name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Desire To Fulfill Purpose.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Thursday January 30th, 2025.

Topic :Desire To Fulfill Purpose.

Memory Verse :Exodus 3:10. Now I am sending you to the king of Egypt so that you can lead my people out of his country.”

Bible Reading : Exodus 3:1-3 GNB. Key Verse : v3.

One day while Moses was taking care of the sheep and goats of his father-in-law Jethro, the priest of Midian, he led the flock across the desert and came to Sinai, the holy mountain. There the angel of the Lord appeared to him as a flame coming from the middle of a bush. Moses saw that the bush was on fire but that it was not burning up. “This is strange,” he thought. “Why isn’t the bush burning up? I will go closer and see.”

When the people of Israel was in bondage of slavery in Egypt, they cried out to the God of their father Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. When heaven wanted to respond, he raised Moses as a deliverer in his days. However, Moses initially ran into problem in Egypt because he ran ahead of God. He killed an Egyptian for his unfair treatment of an israelite. When he discovered that the matter was in the open and that his own Israelite brother wanted to put him into trouble, he had to escape from Egypt to Midia. While he was tending the sheep of Jethro his father in-law, the angel of the Lord appeared to him in flame of fire or in the form of a burning bush. The sight was wonderful, because the bush, burnt, yet it was not consumed. Therefore he decided to get closer and understand what was really going on.

When he drew close enough to pay undivided attention, then he began to receive instructions that put direction to his life as to usher him into the purpose of God for his life. “When the Lord saw that Moses was coming closer, he called to him from the middle of the bush and said, “Moses! Moses!”He answered, “Yes, here I am.” God said, “Do not come any closer. Take off your sandals, because you are standing on holy ground. I am the God of your ancestors, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.” So Moses covered his face, because he was afraid to look at God. Then the Lord said, “I have seen how cruelly my people are being treated in Egypt; I have heard them cry out to be rescued from their slave-drivers. I know all about their sufferings, and so I have come down to rescue them from the Egyptians and to bring them out of Egypt to a spacious land, one which is rich and fertile and in which the Canaanites, the Hittites, the Amorites, the Perizzites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites now live. I have indeed heard the cry of my people, and I see how the Egyptians are oppressing them. Now I am sending you to the king of Egypt so that you can lead my people out of his country.” Exodus 3:4-10.

This season of prayer, desire life changing encounters from God’s presence. Even in the encounters, don’t be carried away by the attraction of a burning bush as to miss the instructions the Lord desires to pass to you. The reason for the burning bush encounter was to get the undivided attention of Moses, so that he could pay attention to receive directives that would change everything about him. In like manner, you have to be sensitive to the Spirit of God, there are life changing revelations and instructions the Lord wants to pass to you that will reshape your life. When we seek God with a genuine heart, he will open up deep things that will redirect our lives to help us fulfil divine purpose, jusr like Daniel.

Prayer :Thank you Father God because you have a great plan for my life. As I seek your face this season, open me up to revelations and instructions that will reposition my life to fulfill divine purpose in Jesus wonderful name….. Amen 🙏🏿.

Believing His Promises.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Wednesday January 29th, 2025.

Topic: Believing His Promises.

Memory Verse :Numbers 13:30. Caleb interrupted, called for silence before Moses and said, “Let’s go up and take the land—now. We can do it.”

Bible Reading :Deuteronomy 9:1-3 MSG. Key verse: v3.

Attention, Israel! This very day you are crossing the Jordan to enter the land and dispossess nations that are much bigger and stronger than you are. You’re going to find huge cities with sky-high fortress-walls and gigantic people, descendants of the Anakites—you’ve heard all about them; you’ve heard the saying, “No one can stand up to an Anakite.” Today know this: God, your God, is crossing the river ahead of you—he’s a consuming fire. He will destroy the nations, he will put them under your power. You will dispossess them and very quickly wipe them out, just as God promised you would.

God brought the people of Israel out of Egypt (a place of bondage and servitude), and was taking them to posses the land of promise as to live in their dreams. He prepared them ahead of time to face and overcome every obstacles and challenges that laid ahead of them. Being God, he knew ahead of time the nature of challenges that laid ahead of his people and had made adequate provisions to enable them overcome. All the people needed to do was to trust God and his good intentions as well as follow the nstructions he will be dishing out to them on the way, through the leadership he made available unto them.

Now some of the people refused to believe in what God could do, despite the fact that they had seen him work unimaginable wonders in their midst. In the account of Deuteronomy which is our main text, God prepared their mind of the nature of people he was going to deliver into their hands. Despite all the Lord had told them, some people chose not to believe their God, but to follow their feelings. That was what happened when Moses God’s servant sent out spies to survey the land of promise. Ten out of twelve men sent out submitted a negative report except Caleb and Joshua who chose to believe in God keeping his word of promise. “”But the others said, “We can’t attack those people; they’re way stronger than we are.” They spread scary rumors among the People of Israel. They said, “We scouted out the land from one end to the other—it’s a land that swallows people whole. Everybody we saw was huge. Why, we even saw the Nephilim giants (the Anak giants come from the Nephilim). Alongside them we felt like grasshoppers. And they looked down on us as if we were grasshoppers.”” Numbers 13:31-33.

Today we need to learn from the experience of these men of old. We have been delivered from the bondage of sin and darkness and are on our way to posses our Caanan as to fulfil divine purpose here on earth. God knows the challenges we are going to encounter ahead of time and has configured us to overcome. Not only that, he has placed every human and spiritual resources we will need on our way that will manifest when need arises. The Holy Spirit has been given us as our guide through the journey of life. We are to choose between believing God and trusting in his provisions as well as his faithfulness in keeping his promises or being carried away by the size and nature of the enemy (challenges we are to encounter on our way). Those who will make it in victory must resolve just like Caleb and Joshua to trust in what the master can and will of course do and not on their sentiments and feelings. No man can do business with God, except he chooses to walk with him standing firmly on the ground of faith. “We who believe, then, do receive that rest which God promised. It is just as he said: “I was angry and made a solemn promise: They will never enter the land where I would have given them rest!’ ”He said this even though his work had been finished from the time he created the world. For somewhere in the Scriptures this is said about the seventh day: “God rested on the seventh day from all his work.” This same matter is spoken of again: “They will never enter that land where I would have given them rest.”” Hebrews 4:3-6.GNB.

Prayer :Thank you Father God for saving my soul. I worship you because every good thing you began in my life, you are able to finish. Today I remove my eyes from the size of the enemy to focus on your promises. Thank you for being always faithful in every generation in Jesus wonderful name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Having Godly Fear.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Tuesday January 28th, 2025.

Topic :Having Godly Fear.

Memory Verse:1 Corinthians 10:12. Those who think they are standing firm had better be careful that they do not fall.

Bible Reading :1 Corinthians 10:13-15 GNB. Key Verse: v13.

Every test that you have experienced is the kind that normally comes to people. But God keeps his promise, and he will not allow you to be tested beyond your power to remain firm; at the time you are put to the test, he will give you the strength to endure it, and so provide you with a way out. So then, my dear friends, keep away from the worship of idols. I speak to you as sensible people; judge for yourselves what I say.

Apostle Paul in trying to resolve issues coming up among Corinthian believers had to take them back memory lane so that they could learn from men that did business with God in the past. The children of Israel was chosen by God among the nations. His dealings with them revealed his unchanging nature and character. Any man that must have a very deep and successful walk with the Lord in any generation have to learn from the success and failures of men of old. We look at their mistakes and failures so that we do averything possible to avoid repeating their mistakes in our days to avoid the wrath of God. We look at their strength and success stories as to follow the paths they went through as it becomes relevant in our own dealings or walk with the Lord who does not change.

On a very important note, we must serve the Lord with reverence. That is a type of fear that brings respect and not torment. There is a fear or respect a child should have for a father, despite the love and closeness. When that is missing, we will deal with God in a casual and most unserious manner to our destruction. That was what happened in the camp of the children of Israel on their way to the promised land. Some of them became too familiar with God and Moses as to argue and to walk contrary to divine instructions to their destruction. They provoked the Spirit of Christ (grace and mercy) that followed them to anger and jealousy and the resultant effect was regrettable.

“In the cloud and in the sea they were all baptized as followers of Moses. All ate the same spiritual bread and drank the same spiritual drink. They drank from the spiritual rock that went with them; and that rock was Christ himself. But even then God was not pleased with most of them, and so their dead bodies were scattered over the desert. Now, all this is an example for us, to warn us not to desire evil things, as they did, nor to worship idols, as some of them did. As the scripture says, “The people sat down to a feast which turned into an orgy of drinking and sex.” We must not be guilty of sexual immorality, as some of them were — and in one day 23,000 of them fell dead. We must not put the Lord to the test, as some of them did — and they were killed by snakes.” 1 Corinthians 10:2-9. Apostle Paul had written in another place that we should work our faith with fear and trembling. This is a type of fear that works obedience to his word or instructions.

Prayer :Thank you Father God because you love me and your word and instructions are meant to preserve me. Help me to live to reveverence you all my days as my father and master. Keep me from doing anything that will provoke your wrath in Jesus precious name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Avoid Complaining

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Monday January 27th,2025.

Topic :Avoid Complaining.

Memory Verse: 1 Corinthians 10:10. We must not complain, as some of them did — and they were destroyed by the Angel of Death.

Bible Reading :Exodus 15:23-25 GNB. Key Verse: v23.

Then they came to a place called Marah, but the water there was so bitter that they could not drink it. That is why it was named Marah. The people complained to Moses and asked, “What are we going to drink?” Moses prayed earnestly to the Lord, and the Lord showed him a piece of wood, which he threw into the water; and the water became fit to drink. There the Lord gave them laws to live by, and there he also tested them.

The people of Israel saw the mighty hand of God work wonders while they were in Egypt. Pharaoh never wanted them to leave, so that they could serve the Lord their God. Because Pharaoh was hardened and refused to listen to Moses, God did many signs and wonders for their sake to prove his power in Egypt. Finally he had to kill every first born of human and animals in Egypt because they held on to his own first born among the nations. When they finally released the people od God and they began to leave Egypt, Pharaoh still went after them, intending to recapture and return them to bondage and slavery, against the will of God. Finally God silenced them in the red sea where he parted the red sea for the people of Israel to pass through as on dry land. Pharaoh and the Egyptian army tried to follow them through the sea as to recapture them, but the Lord silenced them, as they all drowned and perished. Miriam on seeing the mighty acts of God led them to sing praises and to rejoice before the Lord for his mighty deliverance.

Now, the children of Israel were still fresh from celebration of their glorious victory at the red sea and destruction of their enemies when they became thirsty and the water they met on the way wasn’t drinkable, but bitter. The people of Israel easily forgot all the wonders of the Lord in the land of Egypt and the fresh parting of the sea and final victory over Pharaoh and his elite army, and began to complain against God and Moses their leader. Their attitude anytime they encountered challenges in the course of their journey was always irritative, they easily forgot the goodness of the Lord and his commitment to their well being. At a point, they were even contemplaring appointing themselves another leader and returning to Egypt because they see divine process as too slow for their liking.

Today, we have to learn that when men journey with God, they always encounter challenges like every other person or people. When challenges comes our way, there are dimensions of God the Lord intends to reveal to us. Challenging times therefore are not times to complain or get offended with the Lord. Rather, they are times of deep lessons and maturity. We grow by learning from the things we pass through in our walk with the Lord. We therefore have to resist the temptation of complaining and getting offended with the master or people he placed as leaders over us. Trying times rather should be waiting times so that our strength could be renewed in a manner that we grow wings under the influence of the Holy Spirit and begin to soar higher and above the challenges that comes our way. “He strengthens those who are weak and tired. Even those who are young grow weak; young people can fall exhausted. But those who trust in the Lord for help will find their strength renewed. They will rise on wings like eagles; they will run and not get weary; they will walk and not grow weak.” Isaiah 40:29-31.

Prayer :Thank you Father God for challenges you allow to come my way to help mature me in you. As I wait on you this season in the place of prayer, let every obstacles on my way become stepping stones to greater heights. Grant me wings by your Spirit to saor above every challenges that comes my way, in victory in Jesus wonderful name….. Amen 🙏🏿.

Doors Of Favour And Divine Help

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Sunday January 26th, 2025.

Topic Doors Of Favour And Divine Help.

Memory Verse :Esther 2:9. Hegai liked Esther, and she won his favour. He lost no time in beginning her beauty treatment of massage and special diet. He gave her the best place in the harem and assigned seven young women specially chosen from the royal palace to serve her.

Bible Reading :Esther 2:2-4 GNB. Key Verse : v2.

So some of the king’s advisers who were close to him suggested, “Why don’t you make a search to find some beautiful young virgins? You can appoint officials in every province of the empire and order them to bring all these beautiful young women to your harem here in Susa, the capital city. Put them in the care of Hegai, the eunuch who is in charge of your women, and let them be given a beauty treatment. Then take the young woman you like best and make her queen in Vashti’s place.”The king thought this was good advice, so he followed it.

One of the things God does for anyone he wants raise to a point of blessing in life is to release the oil of favour upon such individual. When queen Vashti disobeyed the king in Media and Persia under king Xerxes, who wanted her to come and dance before him and his friends to display her beauty, she was dethroned. After some time, the king felt the absence of Vashti and they initiated a process to get a befitting replacement. Now, good looking virgins from all over Media and Persia was gathered at the king’s harem in Shushan where they were to be taken care of for a season, so that the king could choose a replacement from among the virgins.

From the beginning of the exercise, favour singled Esther out from among many that was involved un and process of preparation. That was how the code for special focus and attention began to work in the life of Esther. Favour made her enjoy some uncommon privileges with the head of the selection team called Hega and others she passed through. The favour she enjoyed opened the door of special attention and help that gave her an edge over other contestants in the preparations. Because she carried the aura of favour, even the king himself developed love for her at first contact. “The king liked her more than any of the other women, and more than any of the others she won his favour and affection. He placed the royal crown on her head and made her queen in place of Vashti.” Esther 2’17.

This year the oil of favour from God’s presence is coming upon someone reading this. The reason God is bringing you into this blessing is to activate an atmosphere of miracles around you. This atmosphere of divine intervention is to prepare you for great things God intends to do in your life this season. This favour will make difficult things easy for you this season and cause men to bless you. God is about to decorate some people because he has a great plan for their lives which is about to begin to unfold. “When she went from the harem to the palace, she could wear whatever she wanted. She would go there in the evening, and the next morning she would be taken to another harem and put in the care of Shaashgaz, the eunuch in charge of the king’s concubines. She would not go to the king again unless he liked her enough to ask for her by name. The time came for Esther to go to the king. Esther — the daughter of Abihail and the cousin of Mordecai, who had adopted her as his daughter; Esther — admired by everyone who saw her. When her turn came, she wore just what Hegai, the eunuch in charge of the harem, advised her to wear. So in Xerxes’ seventh year as king, in the tenth month, the month of Tebeth, Esther was brought to King Xerxes in the royal palace. The king liked her more than any of the other women, and more than any of the others she won his favour and affection. He placed the royal crown on her head and made her queen in place of Vashti.” Esther 2:13-17.

Prayer :Thank you Father God for your oil of favour coming upon me this season. I bless you because doors of divine help are opening to me. Thank you because things that looked difficult in the past are becoming easy in my life because of your intervention in Jesus wonderful name….. Amen 🙏🏿.

Making Yourself More Useful.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Saturday January 25th, 2025.

Topic :Making Yourself More Useful.

Memory Verse::2 Timothy 2:23. But keep away from foolish and ignorant arguments; you know that they end up in quarrels.

Bible Reading :2 Timothy 2:20-22 Key Verse : v20.

In a large house there are dishes and bowls of all kinds: some are made of silver and gold, others of wood and clay; some are for special occasions, others for ordinary use. If anyone makes himself or herself clean from all those evil things, they will be used for special purposes, because they are dedicated and useful to their Master, ready to be used for every good deed. Avoid the passions of youth, and strive for righteousness, faith, love, and peace, together with those who with a pure heart call out to the Lord for help.

Apostle Paul was giving his son in the faith some counsel that will help him get the best of his Christianity or calling. Apostle Paul took time to pray for his converts and stayed in touch with them to nurture them and help them birth God’s plan for their individual and collective lives. He wrote most of his letters to individuals and groups from prison because of his dedication to the assignment. “A soldier on active service wants to please his commanding officer and so does not get mixed up in the affairs of civilian life. An athlete who runs in a race cannot win the prize unless he obeys the rules. The farmer who has done the hard work should have the first share of the harvest. Think about what I am saying, because the Lord will enable you to understand it all.” 2 Timothy 2:4-7. .

Paul was letting Timothy understand that his success in life and ministry was dependent on him and not any other personality somewhere else. There were things Timothy needed to learn as well as do, to be able to get the best his endeavour in the ministry, he needed to discipline himself and have self control in many areas, as well as work hard to be able to successfully birth the vision as given him by the almighty. Hear the Apostle….. “Remember Jesus Christ, who was raised from death, who was a descendant of David, as is taught in the Good News I preach. Because I preach the Good News, I suffer and I am even chained like a criminal. But the word of God is not in chains, and so I endure everything for the sake of God’s chosen people, in order that they too may obtain the salvation that comes through Christ Jesus and brings eternal glory. This is a true saying: “If we have died with him, we shall also live with him.” 2 Timothy 2:8-11.

Today we have to learn from the huge experience of Apostle Paul that whatever we get out of Christianity or following Christ, will be dependent of what we sow into our relationship with him. Men who achieve much approach issues of faith with total commitment and put in their best in efforts and in their walk with the master. Again from what Apostle Paul told Timothy, we can see that how effective we become in God’s hands as vessels depends on how we carry what we have. It is our responsibility to avoid activities and involvements that run down our spiritual batteries. That is where vessels becomes separated (honour and dishonour). The more we are able to identify things that fuel carnality and run away from them, the more we can be useful. That makes it easy for God to be able to pass through us tp bless other men that encounters us in our lifetime.

Prayer :Thank you Father God because you saved me, so that you can make me a channel to reach and bless others. Help me to run away from every activities that undermines your plan to use me the way you desire. Make me a ready vessel through which you can always reach out to my generation in Jesus wonderful name… Amen 🙏🏿.

Jesus Is Depending On You.

ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Friday January 24th, 2025.

Topic : Jesus Is Depending On You.

Memory Verse: ‭Luke 19:16 “The first one came and said, ‘Sir, your mina has earned ten more.’

Bible Reading :‭Luke 19:13-15 NIV‬. Key Verse : v15.

So he called ten of his servants and gave them ten minas. ‘Put this money to work,’ he said, ‘until I come back.’ “But his subjects hated him and sent a delegation after him to say, ‘We don’t want this man to be our king.’ [“He was made king, however, and returned home. Then he sent for the servants to whom he had given the money, in order to find out what they had gained with it.

When Jesus went to the house of Zacchaeus the tax collector to make friend and dine with him, many people complained about the company he kept with men who were perceived as worst of sinners in town in their days. Jesus used the opportunity of that particular occasion and visit to correct some wrong perception about the kingdom of God he was building, using the parable of the ten minas. ‭”He said: “A man of noble birth went to a distant country to have himself appointed king and then to return. So he called ten of his servants and gave them ten minas. ‘Put this money to work,’ he said, ‘until I come back.’ “But his subjects hated him and sent a delegation after him to say, ‘We don’t want this man to be our king.’ “He was made king, however, and returned home. Then he sent for the servants to whom he had given the money, in order to find out what they had gained with it.” Luke 19:12-15.

Those days the Pharisees and including the disciples of Jesus did not understand adequately the scope and timing of the assignment of Jesus Christ on earth. They saw his miracle working power and expected that he will use such to establish an physical or earthly kingdom where himself could become a political king and possibly appoint his disciples as at that moment to be in charge of certain territories in his areas of control. Because he was near Jerusalem, they also expected his seat of power to be there. On his part, Jesus was trying to let them understand what his mission looked like. He was there with them as one with a most noble background (son of God). He was trying to let them know that he will be handing over the affairs of God’s kingdom on earth to the disciples while he returned to the father to be prepared for his second coming. At his second coming, when his kingdom will be physically established on earth, he will need to take account of what the people he kept in charge did as to reward them and to punish those who resisted his rule for reasons best known to them.

Coming back to ourselves. This kingdom assignment as handed over to men by Jesus is like a relay race. When men finish their course, they hand over to a next generation. In our own time, we have received the baton of faith and this comes with corresponding giftings of the Spirit of God and responsibility. We are to Labour or trade with our giftings under the cover of grace we find ourselves. God’s target we must understand are the souls of men like Zacchaeus whom some people wanted to deny the opportunity to taste the grace of God because of his ugly past, even when he was very willing to make amends. Also anyone who refuses to deploy the gifting of God to productivity for any reason, should know that their lot at the end will be with enemies of Christ. ““His master replied, ‘I will judge you by your own words, you wicked servant! You knew, did you, that I am a hard man, taking out what I did not put in, and reaping what I did not sow? Why then didn’t you put my money on deposit, so that when I came back, I could have collected it with interest?’” Luke 19:22-23.

Prayer :Thank you Father God for counting me worthy to represent you in my generation. Help me by your Spirit to deploy every grace and gifting made available to me to win souls into your kingdom. Thank you because your investment in me will never be in vain in Jesus wonderful name…. Amen 🙏🏿.
