Topic: Living Ahead Of Time By The Spirit.

Memory Verse: Genesis 41:46. As the famine got worse throughout the country, Joseph opened storehouses and sold emergency supplies to the Egyptians. The famine was terrible.

Bible Reading: Genesis 41:53-55 MSG. Key Verse: v55.

Then Egypt’s seven good years came to an end and the seven years of famine arrived, just as Joseph had said. All countries experienced famine; Egypt was the only country that had bread. When the famine spread throughout Egypt, the people called out in distress to Pharaoh, calling for bread. He told the Egyptians, “Go to Joseph. Do what he tells you.”

By the Spirit of God at work in the life Joseph, he lived ahead of others. I believe that was key to his success even in the house of Potiphar. By the Spirit of God at work in hs life, Joseph was able to understand mysteries and interpret dreams. His understanding and interpretation of the dream God gave Pharaoh and the action plan he proffered as solution to the impending famine was enough not only to lift and promote him, but to save the day for the people of Egypt and to the benefit of sorounding nations. “The meaning is what I said earlier: God is letting Pharaoh in on what he is going to do. Seven years of plenty are on their way throughout Egypt. But on their heels will come seven years of famine, leaving no trace of the Egyptian plenty. As the country is emptied by famine, there won’t be even a scrap left of the previous plenty—the famine will be total.” Genesis 41:28-31.

By the Spirit of God, Joseph was able to profer a workable solution to the famine the was coming upon the men of his days. “So: Pharaoh needs to look for a wise and experienced man and put him in charge of the country. Then Pharaoh needs to appoint managers throughout the country of Egypt to organize it during the years of plenty. Their job will be to collect all the food produced in the good years ahead and stockpile the grain under Pharaoh’s authority, storing it in the towns for food. This grain will be held back to be used later during the seven years of famine that are coming on Egypt. This way the country won’t be devastated by the famine.” Genesis 41:33-36. At last Joseph was appointed without delays to execute this strategic plan.

The strategic plan Joseph proffered and was appointed to execute in the land of Egypt sustained the people of Egypt including other nations in the region during the seven years of acute famine. “As the famine got worse all over the country, Joseph opened the storehouses and sold emergency supplies to the Egyptians. The famine was very bad. Soon the whole world was coming to buy supplies from Joseph. The famine was bad all over.” Genesis.41:56-57.Today, we have to learn to live ahead of time and others around us by the help of the Spirit of God at work in us.” But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” John 14:26-27.

Prayer :Thank you Father God for the teaching ministry of the Holy Spirit in my life. Today, let your Spirit take over my life and enhance my capacity in everything I do. I receve grace to live ahead of men of my generation from today by the Spirit if God at work in my life in Jesus precious name…. Amen 🙏🏿.
