Topic: Restorer Of Lost Hope.

Memory Verse: Luke 7:14. Then he went over and touched the coffin. The pallbearers stopped. He said, “Young man, I tell you: Get up.”

Bible Reading: Luke 7:15-17 MSG. Key Verse: v15.

The dead son sat up and began talking. Jesus presented him to his mother. They all realized they were in a place of holy mystery, that God was at work among them. They were quietly worshipful—and then noisily grateful, calling out among themselves, “God is back, looking to the needs of his people!” The news of Jesus spread all through the country.

There are many gains in having Jesus as your companion and friend in life. Every encounter men had with him or will ever have with him in the course of their journey in life rubs off positively on such individuals. This time Jesus Christ, who is a life-giving Spirit was entering a city called nain and because he was the most popular person who ever lived, much crowd followed him. Suddenly they ran into a burial procession of a young man who was everything her mother had left in life, as his dad was already dead and gone. So this young man was at the center of the heart of his mum. And now the cold hands of death came suddenly and took him away. The comfort of men this time could not go anywhere as she watched helplessly as undertakers bore the coffin of her only son to the place of interment. Her cry was bitter and heart-wrenching.

When Jesus Christ met this people and woman, he quickly understood what she was going through and saw the need to come to her rescue because he is a caring God. “As they approached the village gate, they met a funeral procession—a woman’s only son was being carried out for burial. And the mother was a widow. When Jesus saw her, his heart broke. He said to her, “Don’t cry.” Then he went over and touched the coffin. The pallbearers stopped. He said, “Young man, I tell you: Get up.” Luke 7:12-14.

Today this same Jesus is here now through this medium to wipe away tears from the eyes of as many as will believe him. It doesn’t matter how long the bitter situation had lingered, it doesn’t matter how terrible or seemingly impossible your situation may look, if only you can see and trust Jesus now, you will have a miracle. “Jesus looked her in the eye. “Didn’t I tell you that if you believed, you would see the glory of God?” Then, to the others, “Go ahead, take away the stone.” They removed the stone. Jesus raised his eyes to heaven and prayed, “Father, I’m grateful that you have listened to me. I know you always do listen, but on account of this crowd standing here I’ve spoken so that they might believe that you sent me.” Then he shouted, “Lazarus, come out!” And he came out, a cadaver, wrapped from head to toe, and with a kerchief over his face. Jesus told them, “Unwrap him and let him loose.” John 11:40-44.

Prayer:: Thank you Lord Jesus for being a loving and caring saviour. Thank you because what you did for one, you will always do for another. My eyes are fixed on you. Today by the power that makes you God, let every good things the enemy destroyed in my life be restored in Jesus wonderful name…. Amen 🙏🏿.
