ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Friday 24th November, 2023.

Topic: Continuing In Fellowship.

Memory Verse: John 15:4. Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.

Bible Reading: John 8:31-33. Key Verse: v31.

Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. They answered him, We be Abraham’s seed, and were never in bondage to any man: how sayest thou, Ye shall be made free?

The Jews at this point in time didn’t know God, they didn’t have a personal relationship with him. They were just religious in their own ways, full of themselves and proud of being children or descendants of Abraham. They were following God based on another man’s experiemce of God without being bothered about knowing the God of Father Abraham. That made them to be empty, they thought they knew God, even when their hearts were far away from him to the extent that they couldn’t even identify the move of God through his son. “For this people’s heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them. But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear.” Matthew 13:15-16.

It is God’s desire that each and every one of us should have a personal relationship with our God, to the extent that we can boldly call him father. When he is our father, his traits shall be in us. We will then know him by experience, that is when men can stand firm in him because of having enough conviction of whom he is, what he can do, etc that can sustain their trust in him in the midst of trouble or crises. “Thy servant slew both the lion and the bear: and this uncircumcised Philistine shall be as one of them, seeing he hath defied the armies of the living God. David said moreover, The LORD that delivered me out of the paw of the lion, and out of the paw of the bear, he will deliver me out of the hand of this Philistine. And Saul said unto David, Go, and the LORD be with thee.” 1 Samuel 17:36-37.

Today we can only know God deeply by revelation that comes from his word and by his Spirit. This revelation becomes part of our daily life when we continue in a lifestyle of fellowship with him even in our private places or our closet. The more revelation of him we have, the better our walk with him becomes and the more our lives becomes more fruitful even in the kingdom. “Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples. As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love.” John 15:4,8-9.

Prayer : Thank you Father God because you desire to reveal yourself to me daily. Help to always continue in a life of fellowship with you. Thank for the transformational work of your word and Spirit in my life in Jesus precious name… Amen 🙏🏿.
