Topic : Conducting A Check On Our Faithfulness Level.

Memory Verse :‭Luke 19:13. So he called ten of his servants and gave them ten minas. ‘Put this money to work,’ he said, ‘until I come back.’

Bible Reading : ‭Luke 12:42-44 NIV‬. Key Verse : v44.

The Lord answered, “Who then is the faithful and wise manager, whom the master puts in charge of his servants to give them their food allowance at the proper time? It will be good for that servant whom the master finds doing so when he returns. Truly I tell you, he will put him in charge of all his possessions.

When God sent his son Jesus Christ to the earth, his desire was to raise unto his father men that are like God himself. His teachings are meant to change the way we reason and behave as ordinary men. He came as a man to show us that it is possible for men to please God or to reason and behave like God, by the help of his Spirit who is the carrier of the nature of God. When we study the word of God carefully, we are able to see clearly whom God is and what he desires from us as his children. Through the written word we will be able to discover that one of the nature of God that we must imbibe as his children is faithfulness. There are many other dimensions of God’s nature which we can’t discuss now. For the purpose of mentioning, they include love, truthful, just, merciful, etc.

When Jesus was leaving the earth to rejoin the father in the heavenlies, he committed the business of his kingdom into the hands of men he trained, so that they can build on the foundation of truth he laid. They are to keep raising men who will continue to be stewards or custodians of the mysteries of God till when he returns to harvest his earth unto himself. This means that the Lord cannot do anything on earth, except his body who is the Church does same. To make men effective, he gave every believer gifts for the purpose of serving others in the kingdom to achieve his divine will or purpose. “Each one of us has received a special gift in proportion to what Christ has given. As the scripture says: “When he went up to the very heights, he took many captives with him; he gave gifts to people.” Now, what does “he went up” mean? It means that first he came down to the lowest depths of the earth.” Ephesians 4:7-9 GNB.

If you read down further in Ephesians 4:11-12, you will see men called into ministry offices as to be kingdom leaders at various levels. Below them, you will see an army of believers whom they are to equip or train to execute divine agenda anywhere we find ourselves around the world. No believer is left out in this divine arrangement, so we can’t claim ignorance. Every believer is here to manage divine resources as made available by Jesus through the Holy Spirit to us to impact others positively. We are responsible to discover our giftings in Christ Jesus and also to channel them into productivity. This we must also do faithfully. The more faithful we are in carrying out divine assignment here om earth, the more heaven decorates or promotes us with higher responsibilities. Today we are to conduct a check on ourselves as individuals in the body of Christ to see how faithful we have been at our various duty posts around the world. In doing this, we must not loose sight of the fact that everything God has given us is to be used to serve his kingdom purposes, and that at his return he is going to reward each and every one of us depending on the level of our faithfulness.

Prayer :Thank you Lord Jesus for bringing me into your family, kingdom and plan here on earth through redemption. Help me to discover everything you have blessed me with and to use them all to and serve your purpose. Help me not be careless or found wanting. By your Spirit, I stand to be faithful im everything you have committed to my care. Thank you because I will not loose my reward at the end in Jesus mighty name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Yearly Bible Reading : 1 Timothy 4:1-16.
