ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Topic :Evidence Of His Presence.
Memory Verse :1 Samuel 1:19. So it was that she became pregnant and gave birth to a son. She named him Samuel, and explained, “I asked the Lord for him.”
Bible Reading :1 Samuel 1:16-18 GNB. Key Verse : v18.
“Go in peace,” Eli said, “and may the God of Israel give you what you have asked him for.” “May you always think kindly of me,” she replied. Then she went away, ate some food, and was no longer sad. The next morning Elkanah and his family got up early, and after worshipping the Lord, they went back home to Ramah. Elkanah had intercourse with his wife Hannah, and the Lord answered her prayer.
Elkanah had two wives. The first was Hanah who had no child at the moment in discussion fot her husband while the second wife was known as Peninah, who bore her husband children. “There was a man named Elkanah, from the tribe of Ephraim, who lived in the town of Ramah in the hill country of Ephraim. He was the son of Jeroham and grandson of Elihu, and belonged to the family of Tohu, a part of the clan of Zuph. Elkanah had two wives, Hannah and Peninnah. Peninnah had children, but Hannah had none. Every year Elkanah went from Ramah to worship and offer sacrifices to the Lord Almighty at Shiloh, where Hophni and Phinehas, the two sons of Eli, were priests of the Lord. Each time Elkanah offered his sacrifice, he would give one share of the meat to Peninnah and one share to each of her children..”” 1 Samuel 1:1-4.
Peninnah made the life of Hanah unbearable and miserable with her mockery and continuous trouble. This persisted till Hanah was fed up and made up her mind to desperately demand for God’s intervention in her situation for a change of story when they went to worship in Shiloh. “Peninnah, her rival, would torment and humiliate her, because the Lord had kept her childless. This went on year after year; whenever they went to the house of the Lord, Peninnah would upset Hannah so much that she would cry and refuse to eat anything. Her husband Elkanah would ask her, “Hannah, why are you crying? Why won’t you eat? Why are you always so sad? Don’t I mean more to you than ten sons?”” 1 Samuel 1:6-8.
God visited Hanah and granted her requests for a son when she finally took her case to the judge of the universe who is God Almighty. Some people reading this are going through situations where they are are being taunted and mocked. They’ve served the Lord with a genuine heart, but lack evidence of his presence in their lives. Such men has been looking upto God to answer to the questions of their enemies and to vindicate their souls. To such people there’s a word of assurance and comfort. From today, the Lord will take glory in your situation. He will grant you undeniable evidence of his presence that will shut the mouth of your adversaries and mockers because of his son Jesus Christ our saviour.
Prayer : Thank you Father God for you are a prayer answering God. Thank you because you are risen with answers to the questions of my enemies. Thank you because you have come down with evidence of your presence in everything I do. I bless your name for transformational changes in Jesus wonderful name…. Amen 🙏🏿.
Yearly Bible Reading :Acts 9:1-19.
