ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS

Sunday October 12th, 2025.

Topic : Don’t Neglect Your Calling.

Memory Verse : 1 Timothy 4:15. Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all.

Bible Reading :1 Timothy 4:12-14 KJV. Key Verse : v14.

Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity. Till I come, give attendance to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine.

Neglect not the gift that is in thee, which was given thee by prophecy, with the laying on of the hands of the presbytery.

Apostle Paul’s letters to Timothy are like the vital instructions of a father to a son or that of a coach to a mentee. By the Spirit of God, Paul knew that lawless men will sneak into the church and introduce teachings and practices that are directly from the pit of hell in this last days. The resultant effect of such subtle demonic operations is that some people will fall away from the true faith to engage in demonic practices in the name of worship and service to the Lord. The purpose of this level of confusion is to lead the unguarded astray into destruction. “The Spirit says clearly that some people will abandon the faith in later times; they will obey lying spirits and follow the teachings of demons. Such teachings are spread by deceitful liars, whose consciences are dead, as if burnt with a hot iron.” 1 Timothy 4:1-2 GNB.

The only way the truth could be preserved and properly dispensed to the people is for men like Timothy who were properly groomed and grounded in truth and pure faith to step up their operations, not minding what some people will think and say. This is because anytime deceivers and liars thrive anywhere they also gain followership who most time enjoy attacking the truth anytime they have opportunity. Men that have the pure word of life therefore can’t afford to be silent or pipe low in any generation, but make sure their voices are heard in the right places to correct misconceptions as being dispensed by men working for Satan. “If you give these instructions to the believers, you will be a good servant of Christ Jesus, as you feed yourself spiritually on the words of faith and of the true teaching which you have followed. But keep away from those godless legends, which are not worth telling. Keep yourself in training for a godly life. Until I come, give your time and effort to the public reading of the Scriptures and to preaching and teaching.” 1 Timothy 4:6-7,13 GNB.

To be constantly fit for this assignment, we must take time to work on ourselves as individuals and workers in the kingdom. We have to intentionally engage in spiritual exercises that will sharpen our skills and bring out the best in us. In doing this, we must live with the awareness that men who get the best of God are men who are totally sold out to him and his purpose. Such men keep working on themselves to be a blessing till they begin to make gains that becomes visible even to men who choose the paths of doubts. In doing this, we must note that we are all called and gifted for one purpose or another. “Physical exercise has some value, but spiritual exercise is valuable in every way, because it promises life both for the present and for the future. This is a true saying, to be completely accepted and believed. We struggle and work hard, because we have placed our hope in the living God, who is the Saviour of all and especially of those who believe. Watch yourself and watch your teaching. Keep on doing these things, because if you do, you will save both yourself and those who hear you.” 1 Timothy 4:8-10,16 GNB.

Prayer :Thank you Lord Jesus for counting me worthy to represent your kingdom this end time. Help me therefore to live upto your expectations in fulfilling my calling and ministry. Build me up, so you can use me to rescue and build men up for yourself in Jesus wonderful name…. Amen 🙏🏿.
