ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Wednesday September 3rd, 2025.

Topic : Never Take Grace For Granted.

Memory Verse : Luke 10:12 Jesus continued, “Let me say it clearly: on the day of judgment the wicked people of Sodom will have a lesser degree of judgment than the city that rejects you, for Sodom did not have the opportunity that was given to them.”

Bible Reading : Luke 10:9-11 TPT. Key Verse : v9.

Then heal the sick, and tell them all, ‘God’s kingdom realm has arrived and is now within your reach!’ But when you enter a city and they do not receive you, say to them publicly, ‘We wipe from our feet the very dust of your streets as a testimony before you! Understand this: God’s kingdom realm came within your reach and yet you have rejected God’s invitation!’”

Here we see Jesus Christ sending out his disciples in pairs to places he intended to be with his message of hope for the hopeless. He had seen a great harvest, but observed at the same time that there wasn’t enough labourers to bring in men into the kingdom of God. “After this, the Lord Jesus formed thirty-five teams among the other disciples. Each team was two disciples, seventy in all, and he commissioned them to go ahead of him into every town he was about to visit. “Once you enter a house, speak to the people there and say, ‘God’s blessing of peace be upon this house!’ If a lover of peace resides there, your peace will rest upon that household. But if you are rejected, your blessing of peace will come back upon you.” Luke 10:1,5-6.

The message here is that the kingdom of God is with men already. They don’t need to look for same in any distant places, but should wake up to understand the move of the Spirit of God who is the enforcer of the kingdom around the world, as to flow with him unhindered. Many people are struggling to accept the message of hope and restoration Jesus brought to mankind. Such people are so distracted by many things and engrossed with the present world that they can’t even pay attention to things that concerns their eternal well being. Such people have rejected the way of salvation and the light of the world who came in person to point us to, as well as manifest that way for all to see. When men reject Jesus, they turn their hearts against the love God revealed for the entire human race which we receive only by simple faith, John 3:16.”Those who believe in the Son are not judged; but those who do not believe have already been judged, because they have not believed in God’s only Son. This is how the judgement works: the light has come into the world, but people love the darkness rather than the light, because their deeds are evil.” John 3:18-19 GNB.

In same manner Jesus sent the seventy he is sending ourselves to a lost world that is in dire need of the message of life and hope today, anywhere we find ourselves. The world, I mean all who care need to know that Jesus had borne the punishment for their sins or evil deeds on the cross and died for them to have a good life. Anyone who takes the sacrifice of Jesus for granted will regret on the last day, when there will be no time to make amends. When men reject Jesus, they reject the plan of God for their lives and wallow in the paths of destruction. Such men labour under the wrath of God and divine judgement which becomes obvious when they end their earthly journey. Today, we must do everything within our reach to utilise the time of grace we presently enjoy to seek the Lord now that we have the time. “While I am with you, it is daytime and we must do the works of God who sent me while the light shines. For there is coming a dark night when no one will be able to work. As long as I am with you my life is the light that pierces the world’s darkness.”” John 9:4-5.

Prayer :Thank you Lord Jesus for everything you have done for me. Help not to take you and your sacrifice for granted. May I not be at ease while souls perish. Help me to reach out and bring lost souls home to serve you in Jesus glorious name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Yearly Bible Reading : Mathew 22:1-14.
