Topic Doors Of Fulfillment Of Purpose.

Memory Verse: ‭Genesis 41:14. So Pharaoh sent for Joseph, and he was quickly brought from the dungeon. When he had shaved and changed his clothes, he came before Pharaoh.

Bible Reading : ‭Genesis 41:11-13 NIV‬. Key Verse : v13.

Each of us had a dream the same night, and each dream had a meaning of its own. Now a young Hebrew was there with us, a servant of the captain of the guard. We told him our dreams, and he interpreted them for us, giving each man the interpretation of his dream. And things turned out exactly as he interpreted them to us: I was restored to my position, and the other man was impaled.”

Joseph was a man in divine agenda. Yet, he suffered many things in the hands of people starting from his brothers, what we today refer to as household enemies. His father loved and made him coat of many colours to the anger of his brothers which wasn’t his fault. When he was dealing with them as brothers, they were seeing him as a kind of impostor that was having a wild dreams to rule over them at all cost, but he was only sharing with them as brothers, the pictures the Spirit of wisdom in him was painting in order to put direction to his life. “Joseph had a dream, and when he told it to his brothers, they hated him all the more. He said to them, “Listen to this dream I had: We were binding sheaves of grain out in the field when suddenly my sheaf rose and stood upright, while your sheaves gathered around mine and bowed down to it.” His brothers said to him, “Do you intend to reign over us? Will you actually rule us?” And they hated him all the more because of his dream and what he had said” Genesis 37:5-8.

Finally they sold him to the Ismeelites to go and die. But they never knew they were preparing him to fulfill purpose. He finally landed in Egypt and in Potiphar’s house. His fear of God made him disobey the wife of Potiphar who set her up. Finally he landed in the prison where he met two servants of Pharaoh. In the prison, God began to make him a blessing even in the prison. Because he was friendly and accomodative, the cupbearer and baker of Pharaoh who were fellow inmates sticked to him. They had dreams that got them worried which Joseph interpreted. The dreams came to pasd as interpreted. “Now the third day was Pharaoh’s birthday, and he gave a feast for all his officials. He lifted up the heads of the chief cupbearer and the chief baker in the presence of his officials: He restored the chief cupbearer to his position, so that he once again put the cup into Pharaoh’s hand— but he impaled the chief baker, just as Joseph had said to them in his interpretation. The chief cupbearer, however, did not remember Joseph; he forgot him.” Genesis 40:20-23.

Though men forgot, God himself never forgot Joseph and his plan for his life. When it was the fulness of time, God gave Pharaoh a dream that none of his magicians or wise men could interpret. The search for one who could interpret Pharaoh’s dream forced the chief cupbearer who had forgotten Joseph to remember him. Finally, he was able to mention Joseph before the King and his door of elevation and fulfillment of purpose opened. ‭Genesis “Then Pharaoh said to Joseph, “Since God has made all this known to you, there is no one so discerning and wise as you. You shall be in charge of my palace, and all my people are to submit to your orders. Only with respect to the throne will I be greater than you.” So Pharaoh said to Joseph, “I hereby put you in charge of the whole land of Egypt.”” 41:39-41.

Prayer :Thank you Father God because you have a plan for my life which no power can truncate. By your mighty hand, let every doors of fulfillment of purpose that was shut against me before now begin to open by the mighty mercies of God in Jesus wonderful name….. Amen 🙏🏿.
