Memory Verse : 2 Corinthians 3:5. There is nothing in us that allows us to claim that we are capable of doing this work. The capacity we have comes from God;

Bible Reading : 2 Corinthians 3:2-4 GNB. Key Verse : v3.

You yourselves are the letter we have, written on our hearts for everyone to know and read. It is clear that Christ himself wrote this letter and sent it by us. It is written, not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God, and not on stone tablets but on human hearts. We say this because we have confidence in God through Christ.

At this point in time, some people were uncomfortable the way Apostle Paul was writing to the believers in corinth. They felt he was taking much to himself. He tried to let them understand that he doesn’t need to project or package himself for anyone because themselves were living testimonies or productst of his ministry assignment. He tried to let them know that the doesn’t take any credit to himself for things God had done among them through his life and ministry. He tried to let them understand that the secret of his ministry is in the power of the Holy Spirit, whose dispensation brought a new dimension to the ministry assignment under his care. “how much greater is the glory that belongs to the activity of the Spirit!
The system which brings condemnation was glorious; how much more glorious is the activity which brings salvation! We may say that because of the far brighter glory now the glory that was so bright in the past is gone. For if there was glory in that which lasted for a while, how much more glory is there in that which lasts for ever! ” 2 Corinthians 3:8-11.

As believers we need to understand that we are all called to serve Jesus Christ our Lord in his newfound kingdom. We came to know Jesus because of the ministry engagement of some people who were ahead of us. In like manner, God is also depending on ourselves to be able to reach out to others coming behind. The Spirit of Jesus we received is an empowerment to help us fulfill divine purpose. If you watch the early disciples, you will see the transformation that took place from their experience in the upper room where they were all filled. From that day everything about them changed, they came out of their cocoons and hiding places to testify of the truth they knew and declare God’s plan of salvation to as many as cared to listen with uncommon boldness and assurance. The impact was a wave of glorious move of God, where men began to decide for Christ without looking back. Some took some steps further by selling their properties to make sure there was enough to care for the need of the entire brotherhood. “There was no one in the group who was in need. Those who owned fields or houses would sell them, bring the money received from the sale, and hand it over to the apostles; and the money was distributed to each one according to his need.” Acts 4:34-35..

Today, we need to have a second look at our Christianity in comparison with what the early disciples delivered to us. The same measure of the Spirit of God given to them is at work on earth and in us today. Knowing that we are operating a higher covenant than what men of old like Moses handled, what impact have been able to make in the lives of others? We are in a better position than themselves because we have their works to study and learn from. We can’t just come and go just like that, there is need for men who desire to leave some divine imprint in the lives of others by way of positive or transformational impact that must stand the test of time, being enforced from his presence and by his Spirit at work in our lives. We can’t afford to remain in our comfort zones when God is depending on us to cover many uncovered grounds. “So no wonder we don’t give up. For even though our outer person gradually wears out, our inner being is renewed every single day. We view our slight, short-lived troubles in the light of eternity. We see our difficulties as the substance that produces for us an eternal, weighty glory far beyond all comparison, because we don’t focus our attention on what is seen but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but the unseen realm is eternal.” 2 Corinthians 4:16-18.

Prayer :Thank you Father God for you grace that found me. Your investment of the Spirit of grace will never be in vain in my own life. Help me to labour with you by the help of your Spirit to impact as many as is possible in my journey of faith in Jesus precious name…. Amen 🙏🏿.
