Topic : Birthing Your Success.

Memory Verse: ‭Proverbs 22:29. Do you see someone skilled in their work? They will serve before kings; they will not serve before officials of low rank.

‭Proverbs 21:5-7 NIV‬. Key Verse: v5.

The plans of the diligent lead to profit as surely as haste leads to poverty. A fortune made by a lying tongue is a fleeting vapor and a deadly snare. The violence of the wicked will drag them away, for they refuse to do what is right.

One principle that leads to increase in life is called work or labour. Whatever we desire to achieve in life is possible, as long as we are ready to work for it or work it out. Like the woman in labour, we have to sit over our good desires to birth them. When God created all things, he went to work with the son who was there as the word and the Holy Spirit. They laboured in unity to make sure everything we see today became what they are. The Bible recorded that God worked for six days and completed his work of creation and on the seventh day, he rested. Even Jesus Christ during the time of his earthly ministry confirmed working alongside the father, which was the secret behind his glorious earthly ministry. “If you work hard at what you do, great abundance will come to you. But merely talking about getting rich while living to only pursue your pleasures brings you face-to-face with poverty. The true net worth of the wise is the wealth that wisdom imparts. But the way of life for the fool is his foolishness.” Proverbs 14:23-24 TPT.

Another principle that govern life on earth is that of sowing and reaping. This means that for every harvest we expect in life, we have to consciously sow a seed that must produce same. For example, when a man desires to improve himself in what he does, he intentionally submits himself to higher training in order to become more skilful in his field. When the person comes out with better skills after acquiring more knowledge, he is able to bring more value to the table in the service he renders which in return attracts better reward. Wisdom demands that we don’t just work, but we have to keep improving ourselves, so as to work more intelligently which makes our work easier and better.

On a very important note, we have to do good works. By that I mean works that solves problems for others and adds value to people around us. Men will gladly reward us when we become a solution to their problems and we will have peace enjoying blessing. We don’t have to be hasty to make it in life in ungodly ways that at the long run will produce negative impact both in the lives others and ourselves, possibly because of certain pressures. For example anyone who makes money by fraud and deceit does not add any value to any man or society, neither does he solve, but creates problems in the lives of others. “The pure will be rescued from failure, but the perverse will suddenly fall into ruin. Work hard and you’ll have all you desire, but chase a fantasy and you could end up with nothing. Life’s blessings drench the honest and faithful person, but punishment rains down upon the greedy and dishonest.” Proverbs 28:18-20 TPT

Prayer : Thank you Father God because you worked to create all things in order to show me an example of how to make it in life. As I patiently follow your example to birth my good plans here on earth, let your mighty hand be upon me to proper the good works of my hands in Jesus precious name… Amen 🙏🏿.

Yearly Bible Reading : Jeremiah 38:1-13.
