Tuesday April 23rd,2024.

Topic: Be Incharge Through Prayer.

Memory Verse :‭‭1 Timothy 2:8. Therefore I want the men everywhere to pray, lifting up holy hands without anger or disputing.

Bible Reading :‭1 Timothy 2:1-3 NIV‬. Key Verse :v1.

I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people—for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. This is good, and pleases God our Savior,

Prayer is a very important ministry that every believer must get involved in. Prayer is like breathing to a child of God. To stay alive every living soul must continue to breathe intentionally. To every man that wants to stay alive, breathing is compulsory and not optional. Anyone who stops praying as a child of God will lack what it takes for his blood which keeps him alive to keep circulating. As we keep breathing, our lungs keeps being supplied with oxygen with which the blood circulatory system of our body keeps functioning. “And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint; Saying, There was in a city a judge, which feared not God, neither regarded man: And there was a widow in that city; and she came unto him, saying, Avenge me of mine adversary. And he would not for a while: but afterward he said within himself, Though I fear not God, nor regard man; Yet because this widow troubleth me, I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me.” Luke 18:1-5 KJV.

In the place of prayer, we come to God who is our heavenly father, just the way children approach their earthly father, talk to him from a sincere heart. Not only that, in the place of prayer, God is always willing to pass instructions to us on issues of life especially when we are willing to listen to him. The beauty of it is that what we tell God in such our secret place that may appear very insignificant, determines what happens around us. What we discuss and agree with God in such unknown places, determines what happens in larger society, even in government circles. Through prayer, we are able to influence decisions in low and high places from our closet without moving an inch. “And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you. For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.
If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone? or if he ask a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent?” Luke 11:9-11 KJV.

Prayer doesn’t have a right time and place. We don’t stop breathing if we want to keep staying alive no matter where we find ourselves or circumstances sorrouding us. In like manner, there’s no convinient time or place for prayer. Men that pray wield the power of of God to make things happen. In the place of prayer, the body of Christ is able to exercise the power that authority Jesus delegated to us before he left the earth. ‭‭

“Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective. Elijah was a human being, even as we are. He prayed earnestly that it would not rain, and it did not rain on the land for three and a half years. Again he prayed, and the heavens gave rain, and the earth produced its crops.” James 5:16-18.

Prayer :Thank you Father God because you are a prayer answering God. Help me to live communicating with you all my days. Thank you for using me to make things happen in my lifetime through the place of prayer in Jesus wonderful name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Yearly Bible Reading : 2 Kings 2:1-11.
