Topic :Let Grace Count In Your Life.

Memory Verse :2 Corinthians 6:4. Instead, in everything we do we show that we are God’s servants by patiently enduring troubles, hardships, and difficulties.

Bible Reading : 2 Corinthians 6:1-3 GNB. Key Verse : v1

In our work together with God, then, we beg you who have received God’s grace not to let it be wasted. Hear what God says: “When the time came for me to show you favour I heard you; when the day arrived for me to save you, I helped you.”Listen! This is the hour to receive God’s favour; today is the day to be saved! We do not want anyone to find fault with our work, so we try not to put obstacles in anyone’s way.

Now we need to understand that grace is divine investment in our lives as children of God. Anytime God makes some investment in any life and destiny, he expects a harvest or dividends from such investments. That is the reason Christ placed much value on fruit bearing in some of his teachings while he was here physically on earth. It is possible for grace invested by heaven on an individual or a people to waste, possibly because of negligence or wrong attitude towards kingdom related issues. ““I am a true sprouting vine, and the farmer who tends the vine is my Father. He cares for the branches connected to me by lifting and propping up the fruitless branches and pruning every fruitful branch to yield a greater harvest.”” John 15:1-2 TPT.

“Then Jesus told them this parable: “There was once a man who had a fig tree growing in his vineyard. He went looking for figs on it but found none. So he said to his gardener, ‘Look, for three years I have been coming here looking for figs on this fig tree, and I haven’t found any. Cut it down! Why should it go on using up the soil?’ But the gardener answered, ‘Leave it alone, sir, just one more year; I will dig round it and put in some manure. Then if the tree bears figs next year, so much the better; if not, then you can have it cut down.’” Luke 13:6-9. Every child of God is a tree planted in his presence or vineyard by grace. This grace makes available to us heavenly resources that should be channeled towards furthering the course of the kingdom. To that extent, God is depending us to win territories and perpetrate his will on earth, as his people.

Many are less concerned about the investment of God in their lives. They don’t make any efforts to find out who they are before the Lord and where they can be of good use in his mighty hands. They pursue shadows all their lifetime, only to discover at last that they wasted grace as invested in trust upon their lives. One of the the things the enemy uses to distract men from utilising grace is love of the world and things in it that are temporal. Jesus rightly taught that when we seek the kingdom and it’s righteousness first, every other things we need in life shall be added to us. “The seeds that fell on rocky ground stand for those who hear the message and receive it gladly. But it does not sink deep into them; they believe only for a while but when the time of testing comes, they fall away. The seeds that fell among thorn bushes stand for those who hear; but the worries and riches and pleasures of this life crowd in and choke them, and their fruit never ripens.” Luke 8:13-14.

Prayer :Thank you Father God for every investment of grace upon my humble life. From today, open the eyes of my understanding to make every of your investment upon my life to count by reason of impact. Thank you for making me fruitful all my days in Jesus precious name…. Amen 🙏🏿.
