ENTHRONEMENT ASSEMBLY DAILY DEVOTIONALS.

Wednesday August 21st, 2024.

Topic : Following With Understanding.

Memory Verse : Luke 22. You will eat and drink at my table in my Kingdom, and you will sit on thrones to rule over the twelve tribes of Israel.

Bible Reading : Luke 22:27-29 GNB. Key Verse : v29.

Who is greater, the one who sits down to eat or the one who serves? The one who sits down, of course. But I am among you as one who serves. “You have stayed with me all through my trials; and just as my Father has given me the right to rule, so I will give you the same right.

This time, Jesus Christ was rounding up his earthly ministry, as the time of his crucifixtion drew nearer. Now, the disciples wanted to know who should be the greatest person among them as they stayed together. He tried to let them know that greatness the kingdom way is measured by service rendered and not the one received. Unlike in the natural world, the greatest among God’s people are not men who sit down for men to serve them, but those who humbly stay up to make sure that the need of other brethren are attended to. Jesus taught us a life of service by example. “After Jesus had washed their feet, he put his outer garment back on and returned to his place at the table. “Do you understand what I have just done to you?” he asked. “You call me Teacher and Lord, and it is right that you do so, because that is what I am. I, your Lord and Teacher, have just washed your feet. You, then, should wash one another’s feet. I have set an example for you, so that you will do just what I have done for you.” John 13:12-15.

Now Jesus began to open their eyes to a very important understanding they needed to have which mattered most above who should be ranked ahead of the other among the disciples. That is the fact that all he received from the father he had given to his followers. This becomes possible when we walk faithfully with him in thick and in thin, when it works and when it seems not to work just the way we desire as men. This faithfulness to the master and the ability to partake of his trials without complaining is what qualifies us to share in his glory in our lifetime. “God’s Spirit joins himself to our spirits to declare that we are God’s children. Since we are his children, we will possess the blessings he keeps for his people, and we will also possess with Christ what God has kept for him; for if we share Christ’s suffering, we will also share his glory. I consider that what we suffer at this present time cannot be compared at all with the glory that is going to be revealed to us.” Romans 8:16-18.

From today, live with the understanding that the right to rule over everything created by God as given to Jesus Christ by the father has been permanently delegated to you as a child of God. You were born into the royal family of God in the Spirit so that you might be equipped to rule over nature, circumstances, your environment or territories, etc. To that extent the enemy and those who represent him on earth doesn’t have what it takes to control things around you, except you permit them to do so out of ignorance, negligence, carelessness and stuffs like that. “And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.” Matthew 16:18-19 KJV.

Prayer :Thank you Lord Jesus for what you have done for me. Thank you for delegating the authority to bear rule over every creature and situations to me here on earth, just the same way it was given to you by the father. I begin to live to manifest this authority in everything I do all my days in Jesus wonderful name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Yearly Bible Reading : Luke 17:20-37.
