Memory Verse:Psalms 21:5. His glory is great in thy salvation: honour and majesty hast thou laid upon him.

Bible Reading : Psalms 21:1-4. Key Verse: v1.

The king shall joy in thy strength, O LORD; and in thy salvation how greatly shall he rejoice! Thou hast given him his heart’s desire, and hast not withholden the request of his lips. Selah. For thou preventest him with the blessings of goodness: thou settest a crown of pure gold on his head. He asked life of thee, and thou gavest it him, even length of days for ever and ever.

King David lived from one victory to another. One of his secrets is that he knew how to humble himself before the Lord and show gratitude through praise. He lived to appreciate every mercy and grace God revealed to him from his father’s house that brought him to the throne in Israel despite the efforts of king Saul to stop him from entering God’s plan for his life. At a point his wife was angry the way he danced with much joy before the Lord. “Then David returned to bless his household. And Michal the daughter of Saul came out to meet David, and said, How glorious was the king of Israel to day, who uncovered himself to day in the eyes of the handmaids of his servants, as one of the vain fellows shamelessly uncovereth himself! And David said unto Michal, It was before the LORD, which chose me before thy father, and before all his house, to appoint me ruler over the people of the LORD, over Israel: therefore will I play before the LORD. And I will yet be more vile than thus, and will be base in mine own sight: and of the maidservants which thou hast spoken of, of them shall I be had in honour.” 2 Samuel 6:20-22.

Praise is one instrument that brings down the manifest presence of God. God is everywhere, but his presence in not manifested in all places. Men that know how to engage the instrumentality of praise always bring down God’s manifest presence that delivers uncommon testimonies. Sometimes, it is good to praise God not only for things he had done, but also for things we are trusting him to do for us. The shout that brought down the walls of Jericho was a shout of praise to him who had capacity to make way where no way existed. “And it came to pass at the seventh time, when the priests blew with the trumpets, Joshua said unto the people, Shout; for the LORD hath given you the city. So the people shouted when the priests blew with the trumpets: and it came to pass, when the people heard the sound of the trumpet, and the people shouted with a great shout, that the wall fell down flat, so that the people went up into the city, every man straight before him, and they took the city. And they utterly destroyed all that was in the city, both man and woman, young and old, and ox, and sheep, and ass, with the edge of the sword.” Joshua 6:16,20-21.

After you have prayed and done other things to get God’s attention and you don’t satisfactory result, take time to praise him over the situation. Your praise empowers mighty angels of warfare to go to war on your behalf in any given situation. Praise was key to the unusual victory the Lord granted King Jehosaphat over his enemies. “And when they began to sing and to praise, the LORD set ambushments against the children of Ammon, Moab, and mount Seir, which were come against Judah; and they were smitten. For the children of Ammon and Moab stood up against the inhabitants of mount Seir, utterly to slay and destroy them: and when they had made an end of the inhabitants of Seir, every one helped to destroy another. And when Judah came toward the watch tower in the wilderness, they looked unto the multitude, and, behold, they were dead bodies fallen to the earth, and none escaped.” 2 Chronicles 20:22-24.

Prayer : Father God I am grateful for every grace and mercy you revealed unto me in this life. As I create an atmosphere of praises around me, let your Spirit go to war on my behalf in…….(mention the areas). Thank you for giving me victory in Jesus wonderful name…. Amen 🙏🏿.
