Memory Verse : 2 Timothy 2:16. Avoid False Teachings And avoid empty chatter and worthless words, for they simply add to the irreverence of those who converse in that manner.

Bible Reading :2 Timothy 2:14-15 TPT. Key Verse :v15.

Be committed to teach the believers all these things when you are with them in the presence of the Lord. Instruct them to never be drawn into meaningless arguments, or tear each other down with useless words that only harm others. Always be eager to present yourself before God as a perfect and mature minister, without shame, as one who correctly explains the Word of Truth.

Ministry is a very important assignment because it has to deal with the eternal destiny of men. Physicians who handle issues of our physical health are given best of attention and rigorous training because their work is delicate as any mistake they make can result to loss of life. Paul always rightly place spiritual needs ahead of the physical because the gains derived in physical exercises doesn’t go beyond this present life, while the gains of spiritual involvements pays in this life and after this life in eternity. One of the things that can always help a child of God is self development, not only in our careers but also in our spiritual lives. The gains of being studios can’t be quantified, even in the area of our spiritual lives (the word of God). In the place of studying, we are built up and empowered by the Spirit of God through the impartation of right knowledge, as to be a blessing to others in the kingdom. The knowledge we acquire in God’s presence through studies helps to shape our lives, reasoning and behavioural pattern.

Another gain of being studios in our spiritual walk with God is that it doesn’t only ground and stabilize us in him, it also prepares us to be used by God. Everyone God saves he intends to use in some capacity to reach out to others who needs same salvation. When he builds us up in the spirit, he also intends to use us and reach out to others who needs to be built up too. So we can’t afford to sit on the fence or take grace for granted. “In a palace you find many kinds of containers and tableware for many different uses. Some are beautifully inlaid with gold or silver, but some are made of wood or earthenware; some of them are used for banquets and special occasions, and some for everyday use. But you, Timothy, must not see your life and ministry this way. Your life and ministry must not be disgraced, for you are to be a pure container of Christ and dedicated to the honorable purposes of your Master, prepared for every good work that he gives you to do.” 2 Timothy 2:20-21.

The more we soak ourselves in the word of life, the more we are able to contain or carry him within us by the help of his indwelling Spirit. The Spirit of God in us works with the word of God that is stored in our spiritman to produce results in everything we do. At this level, the Spirit and life in the word becomes visible in us. “Let the word of Christ live in you richly, flooding you with all wisdom. Apply the Scriptures as you teach and instruct one another with the Psalms, and with festive praises, and with prophetic songs given to you spontaneously by the Spirit, so sing to God with all your hearts! Let every activity of your lives and every word that comes from your lips be drenched with the beauty of our Lord Jesus, the Anointed One. And bring your constant praise to God the Father because of what Christ has done for you!” Colossians 3:16-17.

Prayer :Thank you Father God for giving me your word to live by. Help me to live a studious life before you. Reveal yourself to me through your word. Let your word transform me till I become a blessing to everyone that comes my way in Jesus precious name….. Amen 🙏🏿.
