Topic : Salvation, Key To Kingdom Blessings.

Memory Verse :‭‭Romans 1:16. For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile.

‭Romans 1:18-20 NIV‬. Key Verse: v20.

The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of people, who suppress the truth by their wickedness, since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them. For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.

The primary purpose for which Jesus came to the earth is to save mankind from sin and the attendant death or destruction. Though we enjoy many benefits when we get saved, those benefits are not the real thing in kingdom life but salvation. For example when you talk about riches and wealth that everyone are craving for, people can still be rich or wealthy by obeying divine principles of wealth creation like work or when they work intelligently and apply discipline including proper financial and capacity management in whatever they do in life. “While he was still debating with himself about what to do, he fell asleep and had a supernatural dream. An angel from the Lord appeared to him in clear light and said, “Joseph, descendant of David, don’t hesitate to take Mary into your home as your wife, because the power of the Holy Spirit has conceived a child in her womb. She will give birth to a son and you are to name him ‘Savior,’ for he is destined to give his life to save his people from their sins.” Matthew 1:20-21 TPT.

Jesus came to the earth as a man though he is God to save man from sin. Salvation therefore is the primary purpose for which he came. Anyone therefore who is not ready to embrace the message of salvation which is the good news will be far away from true help that comes from the cross. That is the reason a man like Apostle Paul boldly declared that though he was passing through much tribulation for preaching the gospel and sometimes found himself in prison chains, he didn’t feel any shame. Rather his trials emboldened him the more to reach out and make sure that the truth was dispensed to all who cared to receive it. “I refuse to be ashamed of sharing the wonderful message of God’s liberating power unleashed in us through Christ! For I am thrilled to preach that everyone who believes is saved—the Jew first, and then people everywhere! This gospel unveils a continual revelation of God’s righteousness—a perfect righteousness given to us when we believe. And it moves us from receiving life through faith, to the power of living by faith. This is what the Scripture means when it says: “We are right with God through life-giving faith!” Romans 1:16-17 TPT.

Salvation from sin is key the life of an overcomer. This is because the root or foundation of all the problems of man is sin. Only the blood of Jesus has what it takes to silence the voice of sin in every life that runs to him for help. Sin brought separation from God (death). The life in the blood of Jesus restores that which the enemy destroyed. Jesus Christ was manifested that he might destroy every works of the devil starting with sin to every form of negativity that goes with it including failure, disappointment, stagnation, etc. Sin therefore is a legal ground that the devil stands to operate in any life, family, community, people, etc. When it is dealt with in the right manner, the enemy has no choice but to give up. Many suffer prolonged struggle with ugly situations because they are looking for blessings with God without embracing his salvation which key to kingdom blessings. Mathew 6:33.

Prayer : Thank you Father God for giving me Jesus to die to save me from sin and every form of death and destruction. As I embrace your salvation as provided by you, let everything that doesn’t glorify you in my life give way forever in Jesus precious name…. Amen 🙏🏿.
