Topic: Don’t Be Weary.

Memory Verse:Galatians 6:10. Right now, therefore, every time we get the chance, let us work for the benefit of all, starting with the people closest to us in the community of faith.

Bible Reading : Galatians 6:7-9 MSG. Key Verse : v9.

Don’t be misled: No one makes a fool of God. What a person plants, he will harvest. The person who plants selfishness, ignoring the needs of others—ignoring God!— harvests a crop of weeds. All he’ll have to show for his life is weeds! But the one who plants in response to God, letting God’s Spirit do the growth work in him, harvests a crop of real life, eternal life. So let’s not allow ourselves to get fatigued doing good. At the right time we will harvest a good crop if we don’t give up, or quit.

God’s desire is that every of his children should be a blessing just like himself. One of the ways we can always be a blessing is by giving. It is good to always give to ourselves, but we have no reward from God for anything given to meet our personal needs. ‘Am not saying here that anyone should neglect his/her personal needs in life, but sometimes we should be able to go out of our way to touch lives anytime there is need. We have to be sensitive to identify when there are glaring needs around us in the lives of others that we have the capacity to meet. We should be able to take advantage of such opportunity to sow, so that we can have a harvest tomorrow. God’s intention in creating man is that we should be able to compliment each other or be our brother’s keeper, especially the less privileged. “When you are generous to the poor, you are enriched with blessings in return.” Proverbs 22:9 TPT.

“But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was: and when he saw him, he had compassion on him, And went to him, and bound up his wounds, pouring in oil and wine, and set him on his own beast, and brought him to an inn, and took care of him. And on the morrow when he departed, he took out two pence, and gave them to the host, and said unto him, Take care of him; and whatsoever thou spendest more, when I come again, I will repay thee.” Luke 10:33-35 KJV. Giving to others is always a bye product of love. And love is an attribute of God. Jesus used the parable of the good Samaritan to demonstrate how one who loves goes out of his way could go out of his way to touch the life someone he had not known before meeting him in the pool of his blood after being attacked by robbers on the way.

In sowing, we must understand that there can’t be an instant harvest. The reward system of God is regulated by seasons and time. We can’t therefore reap our harvest when it is not our season or God’s right time. Men that are expectant therefore musr be patient and must not relent in continuity in good works. There may always be some reasons one can feel discouraged, possibly because the harvest is not coming as quickly aa expected or the wrong attitude of some people maybe by way of being ungrateful. Our good works are like trees that outlives us. If you look around you in some homes or families, you will see trees planted by some parents or grandparents or people like that who might be late. Such trees are still standing and keep bearing fruits that those who are left behind keep enjoying, even after the planters are gone. “The benevolent man leaves an inheritance that endures to his children’s children,” Proverbs 13:22a TPT.

Prayer : Thank you Father God because you are love manifested. Thank you for loving me and giving me Jesus. Today, help me to love and always give when you want me to, just like you. Let me not faint in doing good. Help me to so good seeds that generations unborn will reap from, if Christ tarries in Jesus precious name….. Amen 🙏🏿.

Yearly Bible Reading : Genesis 32:1-33:17.
