Topic: Test The Spirit.

Memory Verse:1 John 4:4. Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

Bible Reading :1 John 4:1-3. Key Verse: v1.

Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:

And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

We are living in the last days. One of the things the Spirit said will happen in this last days is the love of many will wax cold, and that there will be an emergence many false prophets and teachers. They will be so good on their assignment that many will follow them. “And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.” Matthew 24:11,24. The people who will not fall for their operations are men who walk with the Spirit of God. The Spirit of God in them will never connect or agree with such fake people.

If you are walking with God and speaking his mind in any generation, don’t be surprised that some people will never understand what you are saying. The reason is because of the kind of spirit at work in them. The business we do with God is a spirit to Spirit transaction, only men who knows how to access the spirit realm, get the best of such.” They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them . We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.” 1 John 4:5-6.

One of the test anyone must pass if he/she has the right spirit is the test of love. “Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.” 1 John 4:7-9,11. I heard of a lady who died lately because the husband couldn’t pay #15, 000 for spiritual work with her Prophetess, but immediately she died, same Prophetess donated #50, 000 for her remains to be taken to the east for burial. In some places, you can’t differentiate what some people are saying and doing with the practices of native doctors. Such places are filled with people who have no mindset of knowing God, serving him or making heaven, but solving some immediate problems.

Prayer : Thank you Father God because you will keep me from pollution and going astray. By your Spirit, keep me from every trap of false prophets and teachers of my days. Help me to always discern your voice and follow you and you alone unto eternal life in Jesus precious name…. Amen 🙏🏿.
